  57. 2016 Saturday: With the final presidential debate between candidates Hillary Rodham Clinton and Donald J. Trump just hours away, Mr. Trump is showing no signs of backing down in the face of all the ginned-up #MeToo accusations and allegations.  According to him, ‘he’s in it to win it.’  You go, Mr. Trump, you go.
  58. 2017 Sunday: Actress and activist Alyssa Milano (someone we consider to be little more than a whore) tweeted that women who had been sexually harassed or assaulted should write “Me too” as a status; within hours, tens of thousands had taken up the #MeToo hashtag (using a phrase that had been introduced 10 years earlier by social activist Tarana Burke).
  59. 2018 Monday: Yet another caravan- this one containing at least 4,000 people- arrives in Guatemala, having begun gathering steam across Central America.  Someone is funding these people- whom we allege is George Soros- because their goal is to make it to Mexico, board buses and trains, and head for the U.S.-Mexican border.  There, they will try to storm across it and disappear into the interior of the country.  Meanwhile, Angola has its own problems with a tidal wave of illegal aliens and their military and police forces drive 180,000 ‘migrants’ back into the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
  60. 2019 Tuesday: Following the slayings of 13 Mexican police officers in the Mexican state of Michoacán the day before,  killed by narcotraffickers in an ambush, a running gunfight between Mexican security forces and armed civilians leaves at least 15 people dead in the state of Guerrero.   Meanwhile, in Westerville, Ohio, 12 Democratic hopefuls participate in the night’s Democratic Party debate.
  61. 2020 Thursday: Fallout from the New York Post story on Hunter Biden’s laptop and incriminating email evidence contained within the hard drive demonstrate that there was no reason to impeach President Donald J. Trump because what the Dems were accusing of him of doing was exactly what then- and- former Vice President Joe Biden, son Hunter, and brother and sister-in-law were engaged in doing: peddling influence for humongous quantities of dollars, tens of billions of dollars.  Besides Ukraine, we also learn that Hunter Biden was schmoozing with the Chi-Coms in order to raise still more hundreds of billions of dollars for his mumbling, stumbling daddy.  What makes it even more true is the amount of energy left-leaning social media moguls and their platforms, most notably Facebook and the corrupt Twitter, are devoting to covering up, censoring, and hiding away from the American people.  Folks, this election is now more than important than ever which is why we have but one choice for which to vote on November 3: Donald J. Trump and the GOP.  From the presidency to dogcatcher, vote STRAIGHT GOP.
  62. 2020 Thursday A: In yet another attempt to sway the election, Reuters/Ipsos poll says that ‘last minute voters tend to break for Biden over Trump’ while the Wall Street Journal reports that “Pro-China Joe” Biden has a national lead of 11 points over his opponent, President Donald J. Trump.’  We shall see.  An employee at the New York Times says, however, that ‘not everything is looking good for “Pro-China Joe” which we take to mean IF the Hunter Biden laptop story gets to the masses, he’s toast.   Regarding the covering up of the Hunter Biden laptop story, Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey says- regarding the censorship of the story- that ‘we might have handled it better.’   Yeah, like allowing the free flow of speech, you left-wing, Chi-Com-loving POS.   Regarding “Beijing Biden,” he has a new campaign ad featuring George Floyd’s sister.  Big whoop.
  63. 2020 Thursday B: Before leaving for a MASSIVE RALLY in Greenville, North Carolina, President Donald J. Trump tells reporters that ‘Gov. Andrew Cuomo is little more than a thug and that he himself has ruined the Empire State.’  New York citizens, recall and remove this moron, please, you have a lovely state but if he and NYC Mayor Bill “I’m a Commie” Di Blasio maintain their plan NOT to reopen Broadway until July 2021, you can kiss the city goodbye forever…speaking of loony tunes Democrats, actress Julia Louise Dreyfus calls for a BOYCOTT against the network that made her famous, NBC, for hosting a townhall with President Donald J. Trump while at the same time on ABC- we believe- there is going to be a “Pro-China Joe” Biden debate (although his is half as long as his opponents.  Question: will anyone possess the balls to ask Biden about ‘court packing’ much less about his drug-addled son, Hunter’s activities of enriching the family while using his father’s name as collateral?  That would be something!)
  64. 2020 Thursday C: President Donald J. Trump is encouraging the U.S. Senate to take a BIGGER Chi-Vi relief bill but U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin says he ‘doubts any movement will occur until after the election’ even though Democrat House members are begging- imploring senile House Speaker Nancy “Mumbles” Pelosi to make a deal, even the lower deal because their constituents- as well as their electoral chances- are in a bad way even though Madam Pelosi barked at Wolf Blitzer yesterday that ‘WE FEED THEM, YOU DON’T WOLF, WE FEED THEM.’  Wow, Marie Antoinette to be sure…
  65. 2020 Thursday D: Thursday Night Football’s game is between (1) Kansas City Chiefs, 32 (4-1) @ Buffalo Bills, 16 (4-1). POSTPONED UNTIL Monday, October 19, 2020.
  66. 2020 Thursday E: Folks, here are the numbers for the Xi Jinping Yellow Fever, Chi-Com Virus, the Wuhan Horseshoe Bat Flu- Pelosi Pox:  Here are the statistics for the planet as a whole: 38,756,289 confirmed cases, +404,750, 1,095,216, confirmed deaths, +6,030, and 26,753,000 confirmed recoveries, +212,994.  Next, here are the stats for the United States, the intended target of the Chinese-engineered Wuhan Virus pandemic: 8,016,448 confirmed cases, up 62,382 from yesterday’s reporting, 220,164 confirmed deaths, UP 910, and 5,083,924 confirmed recoveries, UP 20,802.  Here are the stats for Israel now that Mo is living there: 299,502 confirmed cases, 2,109 confirmed deaths, and 253,597 confirmed recoveries.
  67. 2020 Thursday F: Next, in the three states in which, the world-famous, anti-communist American Institute of Culinary Politics-the Elemental News of the Day employs chef-bloggers- California, Hawaii, and Washington- here are the stats, California first: 868,211 confirmed cases, 16,769 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Next here are the numbers for Hawaii: 13,834 confirmed cases, 183 confirmed deaths, and 10,883 confirmed recoveries.  Finally, here are the stats for leftist-Marxist-socialist hellhole of Washington: 100,169 confirmed cases, 2,319 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Let’s look at one other state: North Dakota- currently, they have 29,658 confirmed cases, 375 confirmed deaths, and 24,336 confirmed recoveries- thank you, Governor Doug Burgum for providing all of us the numbers of recoveries- thank you.
  68. 2020 Thursday G: We had a DOWN DAY in the markets today.  Here are the stats for today’s Stock Market closes: first the DOW Jones Industrial Average, 28,494.20, DOWN 19.80 points (-0.069%).  Next, here are the stats for the NASDAQ:  11,713.87, DOWN 54.86 points (-0.47%).  Finally, here are the numbers for the S&P 500: 3,483.34, DOWN 5.33 points (-0.15%).  Price of GOLD: $1,912.40 per troy oz., +3.50 (+0.18%)  Here is the price of SILVER: $24.44 per troy oz., +0.211 (+0.87%).  Price of PLATINUM: $870.10 per troy oz., +8.80 (+1.02%).  Price of PALLADIUM: $2,351.60 per troy oz., +2.50 (+0.11%).  Here is the price of COPPER: $3.09 per #, +0.009 (+0.29%).   Price of Light Sweet Crude Oil per barrel: $40.97, +0.01 (+0.02%).  Today, one-dollar U.S. = 6.72 PRC yuan whereas one U.S. greenback = 0.85 euros.  Conversely, one-dollar U.S. = 28.77 Taiwanese dollars.
  69. 2020 Thursday H: C-SPAN’s Steve Scully, who was set to host the second presidential debate until COVID-19 hit the president and terrified “Pro-China Joe” Biden into taking greater precautions such as demanding a VIRTUAL TOWNHALL DEBATE in which, he could have all manner of hidden aids, went on indefinite suspension now that we found out he lied to the FBI about his Twitter account being hacked.  As you recall, he was asking now-Trump hater Anthony Scaramucci for help in how to ‘deal with President Trump.’  Originally, he said he had ‘no clue’ as to how this message popped up, told the FBI his account ‘was hacked’ and then broke down today and said he lied.  Bon voyage, Mr. Scully, another one bites the dust.  Meanwhile, Judge Amy Coney Barrett concludes her final day of her confirmation hearings with flying colors.
  70. 2020 Thursday I: Meanwhile Twitter and Facebook continue blocking any information connected to “Pro-China Joe” and son Hunter Biden’s tale of woe in which, Hunter was the bagman for his father’s growing empire of wealth.  Our accounts are all stifled because yesterday, Chef Lilah posted the link to Today in History which included a link to the story in the New York Post.  Jack Dorsey strikes again, boy would Joseph Goebbels love the guy!  Elsewhere, prior to President Donald J. Trump going to his townhall debate on NBC, he blasts them as ‘fake news.’
  71. 2020 Thursday J: Americans seeking first time jobless benefits rose to 898,000 from 840,000 the week before.  The nation has regained 11.3 million jobs, still a ways away from the 22 million we lost at the start of the Chi-Com Bat Flu pandemic.  The overall number of those receiving jobless benefits dropped 1.2 million to 10 million so things are on the mend which is why Nancy Pelosis is fighting to prevent passage of a Wuhan Flu relief bill.  Elsewhere, the California Supreme Court- after overturning Scott Peterson’s death sentence for the murder of his wife, Lacey, and their unborn son, and is considering overturning his conviction in the case and ordering a new trial.  Meanwhile on the other side of the world, jihadists attacked a convoy of Pakistani oil and gas workers in SW Baluchistan killing at least seven workers and eight members of Pakistan’s Frontier Corps.  The attack occurred near an Arabian Sea port the Chi-Coms are building to tie Central Asia closer to the thugs in Beijing via their Road and Belt Initiative.
  72. 2020 Thursday K: As everyone knows, the Chi-Coms and their flunkies- the Democratic Party- are up to no good, trying to steal the elections in November.  Stick around as we will keep you updated throughout the day…

TODAY IN HISTORY—SATURDAY, OCTOBER 10, 2020

V. 1942 Saturday: The Germans continue pressing their attacks on the Soviet defenders in the smoldering city of Stalingrad. They have cut the city into pockets but the Red Army and militia units continue clinging to the crossings on the Volga River. The Luftwaffe continues its attacks across the city continuing to reduce it to rubble, which means the underground is contested as much as what’s left above ground. German artillery continues hammering Russian supply boats crisscrossing the Volga River. Meanwhile, Lt. Gen. Friedrich Paulus continues preparing the decisive hammer blow he plans to drop on the 14th.

  63. 2020 Saturday A: In New York City, anti-Semitic Mayor Bill Di Blasio continues his ‘war on Jews’ by threatening to arrest them if they break his draconian COVID-19 restrictions.  What’s next, ‘Mr. Worst Mayor in the Country?’  Are you going to require ALL Jews within the city sew yellow stars of David on their clothes so that your secret police can identify them easier?
  64. 2020 B: The Chi-Coms are angry today, threatening WAR if the U.S. continues sailing through the South China Sea where they have built islands atop atolls and rock outcroppings and then militarized them to threaten fellow Southeast Asian nations.  The U.S. guided missile destroyer USS John McCain traversed the area which set the Chi-Coms to threatening all manner of retaliation.  Folks, the Chi-Coms are WHY God gave us the neutron bomb.  Let’s use it and show them who’s boss.  It’s bad enough they infected the world with a pandemic but to talk crap to the U.S. over the United States Navy sailing through international waters is BS.

  43. 2014 Thursday: The Chinese super-online store, Alibaba, announces second-quarter earnings of more than $1.1 billion; this is more than double of e-commerce giants Amazon and eBay combined.  The Chinese company announces it will release its U.S. IPO in September.  Elsewhere, Glenn Cornick, the original bassist with Jethro Tull[iv] and with his own band, Wild Turkey as well as with Bob Welch and Paris, died from congestive heart failure.  Finally, comedian Joan Rivers was rushed to New York’s Mt. Sinai Hospital after she suffered cardiac arrest at a doctor’s office where she’d gone for a routine outpatient procedure; two weeks later, she died at age 81.
  44. 2015 Friday: According to Brainy History, Greek judge Vassiliki Thanou takes the oath of office as the nation’s interim prime minister after last week’s resignation of Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras; new elections for the position will take place in September.
  45. 2016 Sunday: At Glasgow Airport in Scotland, police arrest two United Airlines pilots for being intoxicated.  They were preparing to leave the airport with 141 souls aboard their aircraft when someone alerted the police to their possible inebriation and police responded.  Law enforcement officials planned to arraign the pilots the following day.  Meanwhile, clashes between Syrian Kurd forces and Turkish-backed thugs endangers U.S. assets in the region who are on the ground, fighting with the Kurds to beat the ISIS thugs running amok.
  46. 2017 Monday: In a show of force, North Korean thug dictator Kim Jong Un orders his military flunkies to fire off a battery of missiles which overfly Japan.  The Japanese government’s early warning system picked them up and told people to take cover.   Elsewhere, Barack Obama’s home country puts into law the world’s toughest plastic bag ban, one that will cost a person a fine of $38,000 as well as possible four years in the hoosegow.   Wow.  A serious act of virtue signaling by an African nation- so says “On This Day.”
  47. 2018 Tuesday: In Detroit, at the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History, the Queen of Soul Music- Aretha Franklin- lies in state in a 24-carat gold coffin.  We miss you, Aretha!  Meanwhile, Puerto Rico upgrades its death toll from the 2017 Hurricane Maria from 65 deaths to 2,975.
  48. 2019 Wednesday: Much to orgasmic frenzy among U.S. climate change activists, little Greta Thunberg, the Scandinavian global warming crusader, arrives in New York City after sailing across the North Atlantic in an emissions free vessel.  She would return home via jetliner or so we were told.  What a gal!  Elsewhere, U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y., throws in the towel on her bid to win the Democratic Party’s 2020 presidential nomination.  She tossed her panties into the ring un-officially on Stephen Colbert’s show on January 15, 2019 but did not make it official until Sunday, March 04, 2019.  In dropping out, she announced her bailout via Twitter and became the fifth Democrat to leave the race following behind (1) Eric “Farts” Swalwell (07-08-2019)[v]; (2) John Hickenlooper (08-15-2019)[vi]; (3) Jay Inslee (08-21-2019)[vii]; and (4) Seth Moulton (08-23-2019)[viii].
  49. 2020 Friday:  The death toll in the United States from Hurricane Laura now rests at six and the town and surrounding environs of Lake Charles, Louisiana, suffered the brunt of the landfall what with being mostly destroyed and at least 1 million people in the region with no power.   Meanwhile, a racial equality march in Washington, D.C., is set to commence purportedly in honor of the 57th Anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s famed “I Have a Dream” speech.  We shall see if it devolves into mob violence as last night in the nation’s capital, following the final night of the Republican National Convention, violence exploded shortly after midnight as attendees of the RNC convention were assaulted as they left the White House grounds making way to their automobiles to go home.   Elsewhere, Prime Minister Shinzo Abe announces his resignation due to poor health.  God bless!  Next, United Airlines announces that 3,000 pilots will be grounded by October if the country does not begin reopening.  Finally, Lord & Taylor clothing stores announced they will be closing down and laying off their employees six years short of hitting the chain’s 200th anniversary.  How sad.
  50. 2020 Friday A: Sadly, “Black Panther” star Chadwick Boseman died at age 43 after a four-year battle with colon cancer.   Meanwhile, sadly today, we do not have the stock market or the current COVID-19 statistics due to an attempted Chi-Com attack into our systems that shut us down for nearly three days.  Sorry.

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

Roy Wood’s Wizzard released its sophomore effort, “Introducing Eddie and the Falcons,” on November 19, 1974.  Once again, his band featured the lineup of Wood himself on numerous instruments and vocals as well as former Move bandmate Rick Price (bass/vocals/percussion), Bill Hunt (keyboards, horns, and vocals), Nick Pentelow (saxophones and woodwinds), Mike Burney (horns), Keith Smart (drums), and one or two other musicians to round out the sound.  The album did better in sales than did its predecessor album, “Wizzard Brew.”  As always, the writing and lyrics are superb as anywhere Roy Wood is means there is a great deal of talent injected into whatever effort upon which he applies himself.  Please, check it out and enjoy because the AICPENDBLOG.COM recommends it for all readers of the blog.

[i] We hope to promote the music of the Soft Machine at some point within the next 3-5 years.  We hope you will be with us when that celebrated day arrives.  We thank you.

[ii] We will present the music of Chicago sometime in 2030 so we hope you will remain with us until then.

[iii] Not clear as to when we present the music of the Fairport Convention and of Richard Thompson, their famed guitarist but we sure as heck hope we do within the next decade.

[iv] We expect to do the music of Jethro Tull, Wild Turkey, Ian Anderson, and Paris sometime in the next 5-6 years.  We hope you will still be with us.

[v] Congressman Eric Swalwell, well-known for his lack of intellect, entered the fray on Monday, April 08, 2019, and was among those sorry low-end losers who had to beg for donations so he could appear on the debate stage.  There was no way in hell that anyone would ever vote the so-called ‘Farter-in-Chief’ for anything higher than the House seat he now holds.

[vi] Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper entered the race on March 04, 2019.  His most notable contribution to the Democratic Party’s nomination process was an admission that he ‘took his mother to see the porn classic, “Deep Throat,” not knowing fully what it was,’ he claimed mom asked to see the movie.  Think what you will.  STRANGE.

[vii] Governor Jay Inslee jumped into the running on March 01, 2019, and his big thing- and only thing- was that he was going to devote 100-percent of his time dueling with climate change.  He looks, sounds, and acts like a palooka and Democratic voters saw him for the POS he is.  He did not last very long.

[viii] Congressman Seth Moulton of Massachusetts, an Iraq War vet, entered the race on April 21, 2019.  He seemed like a decent guy but when everyone around you is jostling one another to see who can go bat crap crazy far-far-far-left, Congressman Moulton stood no chance at ever winning the nomination.

Gavin Newsom being little more than a mildewed POS, NO mention of confirmed recoveries.  In Hawaii, here are the stats: 6,072 confirmed cases, 46 confirmed deaths, and 2,072 confirmed recoveries.  Finally, in the too-far-left-to-save-state-of-Washington, here are the stats: 69,779 confirmed cases, 1,850 confirmed deaths, and like California’s worthless governor, Gov. The ever-eclectic Roy Wood formed his own band in 1973, Wizzard.  The first release by the group came out on March 12, 1973 entitled, “Wizzard Brew.”  Like the Electric Light Orchestra, Wood had a fair-sized lineup featuring himself on numerous instruments and vocals as well as former Move bandmate Rick Price (bass/vocals/percussion), Bill Hunt (keyboards, horns, and vocals), Hugh McDowell (cello and keyboards), Nick Pentelow (saxophones and woodwinds), Mike Burney (horns), Keith Smart (drums), and one or two other musicians to round out the sound.  The album debuted well in the United Kingdom and would pick up a following in the U.S.  As always, the writing and lyrics are superb as anywhere Roy Wood is means there is a great deal of talent injected into whatever effort upon which he applies himself.  Please, check it out and enjoy.

JTF: Eric Ciaramella is not a protected ‘whistleblower;’ no, he’s a felonious leaker and deserves to be doing hard time in an isolated federal prison

The left seeks to protect Mr. Ciaramella but he is a bottom-feeding denizen of the Deep State to be sure. They are loath to name the leaker but everyone knows who he is because brave and resourceful sources have fingered the ally of not only Adam Schiff but of Joe Biden, John Brennan, James Clapper, Susan Rice, and guess who? Barack Hussein Obama.

BLOG POST #3,295 AT THE AICP-END

363 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2020

ERIC CIARAMELLA IS HIS NAME AND LEAKING IS HIS GAME…

Snitches get stitches- isn’t that what the law of the jungle?

Kula, HI 96790, 11-08-2019 Friday: Aloha, friends, good morning and welcome to the blog. Lately, ALL we hear about is the Deep State’s efforts to remove Donald J. Trump from office, by hook or by crook, they will do whatever they feel they must do to accomplish this devious, underhanded, and highly un-American goal. Instead of trying to remove the man from office less than a year out from an election, why not try to win said election by picking the least unattractive of all the losers you have seeking the nomination of the Democratic Party, polish him, her, or Mayor Pete up, and then send them out to do battle before the gates of Troy?

Lately, we have had to suffer a daily barrage of Deep State attacks, the main one being Trump-Ukraine Collusion since the Russian version went down in flames. The main driving force behind this farce is the so-called ‘whistleblower’ Eric Ciaramella and his ‘fears’ over what he heard second-hand on the phone call that President Trump had with his counterpart in Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky.

As President Trump and his defenders have said, there were most likely 20-25 people listening in on the phone call so that everyone in the need to know range would know precisely what was said. According to everyone- president included- there was nothing abnormal or extraordinary about this conversation yet this little she-he Ciaramella ran to his good buddy on the House Intel Committee, Chairman Adam Schiff.

Now, this is the danger of the Deep State for any conservative politician and for any outsider to be sure. When you enter office, first, who can you trust and second, not being someone with governing experience, you lack knowledge of like-minded associates who will support you and put your agenda into action.

Generally, when a new president assumes office, they do a thorough house cleaning, it is to be expected, firing White House attorneys who worked for the last guy (or gal) and putting in new ones, ones who can be trusted to support, protect, and help enact your agenda. Not to do so would be flipping lolo.

President Trump inherited Eric Ciaramella as a so-called “Russian-Ukrainian” advisor, one who either listened in on the phone call between Trump and Zelensky and then with fear of God and whatever in his heart, rushed off to see Adam Schiff (who claims he never met with the man, that his staff met with the whistleblower) to spill his guts.

It seems to me that Schiff and his fellow Democrats are a one-trick pony. If they can’t get Trump on colluding with the Russkies then they will insert the Ukrainians and Zelensky in its place and go after him on that.

Sadly, it appears to be a never-ending cycle, one that spins around and around and around. When Trump-Ukraine collusion goes down in smoking defeat, insert the next nation- like China or North Korea- and off we go. Enough is enough, folks, let’s put this crap behind us and get on with doing the work of the American people? Alright already!

Adam Schiff cannot let go, even though he runs the risk of becoming as odious and despised as Sen. Joe McCarthy was after he destroyed the lives of hundreds of people, rooting out ‘communists’ wherever he found them. The problem with Sen. McCarthy is that he did not know when to stop and like all demagogues, he went down to ignominy and revilement. It is what it is and it would be great if this type of ending would befall Congressman Schiff sooner rather than later.

As for Eric Ciaramella, he is the prime example of what the Deep State is: a hidden place where all manner of he-she’s run amok, creating problems for those whom the people of this country elect to do their business. If that business does not coincide with their leftist ideals and agendas, then woe to whoever crosses them.

The one thing we cannot overlook is that what is taking place here is a ‘soft coup,’ an attempt by the bureaucratic state to remove someone whom they dislike and want to see destroyed. Where a piece of work like former communist (some say NO one is EVER a former communist) John Brennan, Barack Obama’s CIA director (wow, what a post for a ‘former communist’), the man, who in league with Susan Rice, sent the 33-year-old Ciaramella out to destroy a president.

You see, if the Democrats could not destroy Donald Trump by using a FOREIGN agent- Christopher Steele, he of His Majesty’s Secret Service- with ties to Moscow and the FSB- then they will pimp out a loser like Mr. Ciaramella to take things to the NEXT round (or so they hope).

Friends, there is no way that the Democrats are going to drive President Trump from office and if anything are helping him solidify his power base. The Dems need to be careful because the longer they continue attempting to persecute the man, the longer he may decide to stay in office, believing he deserves it because of all the interference from an angry left that has hampered him and the agenda of the American people.

That will do it for today; we will pick back up tomorrow. I will see you then…

Just the Facts: AICP-END Blog 2018 Mid-Term California congressional district results race by race- California is a lost cause- for now

The election has come and the election has gone and now in another 727 days, we will be involved in the next election. I will say one thing before we begin looking at any other 2018 Election news and that is WHY the Fox News Channel began declaring Democrats in California ‘the winners’ with less than ONE PERCENT of the vote in- this began almost as soon as polls closed in the Golden State, a few minutes after 8:00 p.m. and it pissed me and many of the people around me off. It is not right.

Bakersfield, CA, 11-08-2018 Thursday:  The election has come and the election has gone and now in another 727 days, we will be involved in the next election.

  40. United States Representative District 40: Democrat incumbent Lucille Roybal-Allard v. Still, the Democrats say, “NOT YET” because they are scouring car trunks for additional votes, a time-honored way for them to steal elections. We say:  Republicans: 9 / Democrats: 35 / Green Party: 0.
  46. United States Representative District 46: Democrat incumbent Lou Correa v. Republican Russell Rene Lambert: Correa won with 63.4-percent of the vote compared to just 36.6-percent for Mr. Lambert. Republicans: 9 / Democrats: 36 / Green Party: 0.

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 08, 2018

Wishbone Ash released their next studio album, the amazing “No Smoke without Fire” on October 06, 1978.  Each studio album continued to amp up the volume and the rock and this one was no exception.  Once again, we had the same lineup, Martin Turner (bass/vocals), Laurie Wisefield (guitars/vocals), Andy Powell (guitars/vocals), and Steve Upton (drums).  The fact that this band remains with us to this day, albeit with only Powell at the helm tells you something about its ability to continue appealing to a large fan base.  Each song on this album is worth multiple listens, which is why we urge everyone to use the link we provide you here so you can visit the world’s greatest online marketplace.  Once there at Amazon.com, you can get it in the format, the condition, and the price that works best for you- you will be glad you did.

FEATURED ALBUM OF THE DAY:

The Byrds released a recently located live recording featuring the band at the famed Fillmore East Auditorium in New York City back in 1969.  The album, “Live at the Fillmore East, February 1969” (February 22, 2000) features the band in a stripped-down configuration delivering their hits to a rowdy crowd.  We hope you will use the link we provide you here so you can zip on over the world’s greatest online marketplace, Amazon.com.  Once there, you can get it in the format, the condition, and the price that works best for you- you will be glad you did.

We continue offering CDs by the great New York band, the Velvet Underground. The band’s eleventh album, “The Best of the Velvet Underground featuring the Words and Music of Lou Reed” came out in 1989 and is yet another compilation CD featuring the best music the band ever recorded all in one place for both the new fan as well as for the veteran.   We love this album because it contains the crème de la crème of this hardcore rock band from New York City. Once one opens the door with this record, the others seem to beckon the novice and the veteran to buy one-by-one so they become committed lifelong fans.  To own it, take the link posted above, go to Amazon.com, and buy it NOW in the format, the condition, and the price that is right for you, your checkbook, and your ears—you can thank us later.
