[viii] We hope to promote the music of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, as well as of each member’s solo careers along with Crazy Horse within the next 5-7 years. Please remain vigilant for when we do.

[ix] We don’t think we will ever promote the music of this musical charlatan. But who knows? In 50 years, we very well could so remain alert.

[x] We look forward to promoting the music of Johnny Cash one day so remain vigilant.

[xi] We began promoting the music of this legendary American rock band- the Young Rascals- beginning on Sunday, 08-December-2013 through Saturday, 21-December-2013. This band is one everyone who loves rock music must look into and enjoy

Meanwhile, in the capital of Sudan- Khartoum- anti-government protests against the ruling military junta breakout as hundreds of thousands of people take to the streets in that Islamist country.
  56. 2020 Tuesday: The Xi Jinping Bat Flu Virus continues racking up numbers as it plows along, methodically causing trouble everywhere it goes. Here are the stats for the world at large: 7,185,573 confirmed cases, 408.854 confirmed deaths, and 3,352,665 confirmed recoveries which dwarfs the number of deaths. Next, here are the numbers for the United States: 2,016,859 confirmed cases, 113,505 confirmed deaths, and 540,763 confirmed recoveries. In the three states where the world famous American Institute of Culinary Politics-The Elemental News of the Day has chef-authors- California, Hawaii, and Washington, here are the stats, Golden State first: 113,489 confirmed cases, 4,697 confirmed deaths, but NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries which tells you all you need to know, that it’s about politics and nothing more. 57. 2020 Tuesday A: Besides numerous California cities talking about defunding or closing down altogether the police, now Democrat losers are talking about defunding state prisons and transferring the money to social services. NO wonder gun sales are going through the roof. Virtually everyone who writes for the AICPENDBLOG.COM already has firearms and are adding more as we speak. If this is going to become the new Deadwood, so be it. We are ready. Note: to all cities appalled at the talk of defunding the police, there is a simple answer: vote every last flipping Democrat out of office ASAP.

#PF001.2y London 1966-1967 #51 05-28-2020 (400)

Pink Floyd released a look back at the distant past effort, the acclaimed “London 1966-1967” on September 19, 2014. The band formed in 1965 and created an almost instantaneous following with its crazed psychedelic music augmented with some of the airiest poetry and lyrics ever imagined at the time. This effort features the band performing in its earliest phase with Roger Waters, Syd Barrett, Nicky Mason, and Richard Wright. We hope you will seek this album out and consider adding it to your growing collection of nothing but the absolute best in rock music as you are going to enjoy it. What are you waiting for? Get it NOW!

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

#PF001.2i Division Bell #35 05-08-2020 (400)

The reformed Pink Floyd released its next studio album, the incredible “The Division Bell,” on March 28, 1994. Music critics ripped into the band’s effort, being especially cruel to Gilmour’s musical and vocal parts which is bulls**t, absolute bulls**t. If you have followed this blog for any length of time, you understand that we very seldom ever talk about music critics but when we do, we generally trash them for the bottom-feeding losers they are. Performers create and critics criticize which is why NO one should pay attention to them. This is a momentous effort and anyone who says otherwise should STFU. Back in 1994, we were thankful for ANY new output by the Floyd and this album has the gold and platinum to prove it. Seek it out and enjoy for years to come.

  66. 2020 Thursday A: Here are the global statistics for the Chinese Virus- aka COVID-19, aka the Kung Flu, aka the Wuhan Virus Crisis- for today: 5,014,943 confirmed number of cases, 328,462 confirmed number of deaths, but 1,909,701 number of confirmed recoveries.   Here are the figures for the United States: 1,604,862 confirmed number of cases, 94,965 confirmed number of deaths, but 306,171 number of confirmed recoveries which is great.  In the three states in which, the AICPENDBLOG.COM has chef-authors, California, Hawaii, and Washington, here are the stats, California first: 84,057 confirmed number of cases, 3,436 confirmed number of deaths, but typical of ultra-left-wing states, ZERO mention of the number of confirmed recoveries.  Next, here are the stats for Hawaii: 643 confirmed number of cases, 17 confirmed number of deaths, but 578 number of confirmed recoveries which is extraordinary.  Finally, in the once-proud but now socialist-liberal hellhole, Washington, here are the stats: 18,971 confirmed number of cases, 1,037 confirmed number of deaths, but like California, no reported number of confirmed recoveries which tells you all you need to know about the regime running Olympia.
  67. 2020 Thursday B: As far as COVID-19 numbers go, communist China has changed their numbers somewhat.  Here are their current figures: 82,967 confirmed number of cases, 4,634 confirmed number of deaths, but 78,249 number of confirmed recoveries.   Sources in still-free Hong Kong report the number of cases to be well over one million, that the death toll approaches 750,000, with the number of recoveries being unclear.  Free Hong Kong!  Free Tibet!  Free Macau!  Free Taiwan via making them a separate nation once again with their own seat in the United Nations.  Enough is enough with indulging the Chinese Communist Party, let’s return to the Two-China Policy!  It is interesting to note that Beijing is now trying to crack down on Hong Kong’s independence while the rest of the world is fighting Wuhan’s biowarfare.  We shall see.

The next album by Roger Waters is a performance of Pink Floyd’s “The Wall,” a show he did in Berlin on July 21, 1990, to celebrate the collapse of the Berlin Wall, the end of the Soviet Union, and the freeing of not only eastern Europe but also Russia. When I ‘WOKE,’ I saw that Climate Change was little more than a scam, a brick in the road to socialism and loss of freedom- pay no attention to AOC- that girl is crazy

Our planet has been here a long, long time and I suspect it will still be here when the human race is but a trifle in the geological record. We will go the way of the dinosaurs and it won’t be because we sent too much carbon into the atmosphere; no, it will be because we killed one another off using WMDs or a massive rock from deep space slammed into our planet. Yet, life will always find a way to come back.

514 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2020

Pay no attention to climate change, folks, it is a fallacy whereas chem trails, now that could be something bad…

Century City, CA, 06-09-2019 Sunday:  Here we are, the final day of the week and then my colleague Chef Pedro will take over the coveted Stinkbug Chair in Oildale, California.  I must admit, I have been observing the ‘chem trails’ that seemingly occur over Bakersfield every week or so and I must admit, it is a very peculiar experience to see all manner of alphabet letters and well-known as well as arcane symbols crisscrossing the sky as though there were plane after plane after plane roaring overhead in the stratosphere.

I have stood outside myself early in the morning and seen the chem trails, one atop another, going back and forth, no rhyme, no reason, can’t even see the aircraft doing it half of the time and yet, there they are.  Many people who live in Kern County of which, Bakersfield is a part, are all curious but haven’t a clue as to whom to ask, “What the hell is going on?  Something ain’t right here.”

Just the Facts: if federal, state and local governments won’t work to stop the illegal alien invasion, the American people will and it’s coming soon

The Democrats here in California once again are working hard at pushing a law through both chambers of state government that will provide FREE health care at California taxpayer expense to ALL illegal aliens within our state borders.  This means that MORE illegals will flood into the state, from across the country and around the world.  I mean, why would they not?  If I had nothing in life other than yapping mouths to feed, I would take Sacramento’s Democrats up on this because what the heck?

SPRING SESSION 2019

BLOG POST #3,127 AT THE AICP-END

530 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2020

President Trump, the time to act is NOW

Oildale, CA, 05-24-2019 Friday:  Every year, illegal aliens in our country are sending $28 billion abroad annually and foreign workers in the United States are sending approximately $150 billion out of country every single flipping year.  President Trump, you said you would stop the illegal alien invasion in its tracks and lo and behold, more and more illegal aliens are storming into our country, committing horrible crimes, raping and robbing men, women, and children in some of the most heinous crimes imaginable and if something does not happen soon, I hear many of my fellow citizens at the various gun ranges my wife and I visit saying, ‘at some point, if government won’t do its job, the American people will.’

We are exasperated.  The time is NOW to throw the full weight of the federal government against ALL locales in the country that fail to cooperate with ICE.  If county sheriffs and city police chiefs would rather release criminal illegals into the communities they are sworn to protect and violent crime occurs, those ‘officers of the law’ must pay the price along with the criminal illegals when we apprehend them…again.

We understand that you can only do so much but at what point will the Joint Chiefs of Staff awaken to the fact that the country they are sworn to defend from all foreign enemies, when will they see that we are being overrun and will march into the Oval Office and tell the commander-in-chief, “Mr. President, it is time to mobilize the military, harden our border and execute our contingency plans for invading Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, and Nicaragua if need be and NOT Iran.”

The United States is not going to have to worry about the Iranian threat much longer when the one nearer to home is winning the undeclared war.  If we cannot stop the massive influx of people unwilling to assimilate, people we can neither hold nor care for, what the hell are we supposed to do when these desperate people begin invading our neighborhoods, our shopping centers, and every where else they can?  People are going to begin fighting back because we do not have to accept this illegal activity.

Across California, since 2014, when Barack Hussein Obama was our president, towns around the state have experienced a deluge of illegal aliens being transported via bus on these magical mystery tours and then just dropped off devoid of resources, no money, no food, no water and left to amble about seeking whatever churches that would feed and house them.  It was not right back then and it sure as hell is not right now.

President Trump, the American people beseech you to stop the mass relocations of illegal aliens into every community other than to the big sanctuary cities such as crumbling, HIV-AIDS-ridden San Francisco and the Cholera Capital of California, Los Angeles.

Likewise, other cities large and small around the state are contending with the invasion in whatever way they can all the while we have one-quarter of ALL homeless Americans in the country sleeping on our streets and in our parks, along our riverways and underneath freeway overpasses, and in desolate land outside the cities with the child molesters because government is not there for these down-and-out, forgotten, downtrodden Americans.

Government, on the other hand, seems to be welcoming to all illegal aliens.  They throw their arms open while spitting in our faces when they tell us that we can fend for ourselves because all available resources must go to caring for the interlopers.  Thirty, even twenty years ago, this would have been unthinkable but now with socialism on the rise and coming to a town near all of us soon, I think the Democrats view the illegals as their shock troops.

Why do I use the word ‘shock troops?’  Well, in order to force socialism down the throats of an unwilling populace, someone has to be the tool with which to do it.  In Soviet Russia, criminals released from prisons and other disaffected lost souls proved to be good foot soldiers in the subjugation of the rest of the citizens. After all, these ‘lost souls’ had nothing to lose and when given free rein to do whatever their commissars told them to do, they did it willingly and did it well to the point that in the first thirty years of the USSR, people lived in abject terror for their lives.

History NEVER fails to repeat itself and it is now repeating itself here in the United States thanks to the trespassers and thanks to two misinformed generations led to believe that ‘no person is illegal,’ that ‘men can be women and women can be men,’ that ‘men can have babies and undergo periods,’ and all sorts of other crazy fecal matter.

Worse, they are told by their wealthy liberal leaders that ‘wealth is evil’ and are then directed to hate those who have more than they do, forget that they worked hard to create the wealth the willing tools of the left covet and seek to move from their enemies to them.  This is what a country under the likes of a loser like Bernie Sanders and/or Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez aka the Baby Evita would look like.

President Trump, if you are reading my post (and I sure hope you are), the time is now to stop the invasion, to repel it using whatever means necessary.  Sure, it will be shocking at first and the left will scream and squall like the snot-nosed brats they are but it will have almost immediate effects and the invasion will stop.  Otherwise, we, the American people will stop it ourselves…and it won’t be pretty.

See you tomorrow unless, of course, I’m banned and the blog shut down.  Ah, well.  Someone must be bold enough to speak the God’s honest truth to power.

In the meantime, pray for both our country and for me.

The Santana band began undergoing changes because the fiery guitarist was beginning to undergo religious conversion that conflicted with his original band mates although some were still here with him.  The new album, “Caravanserai” came out on October 11, 1972.  The band now featured Carlos Santana (lead guitars/vocals/percussion), Greg Rolie (lead vocals/keyboards), Doug Rauch (bass), Michael Shrieve (drums), Michael Carabello (congas/percussion), and Neil Schon (guitars) along with quite a few other musicians to round out the sound.  The music on this album did not reflect that of the first three albums but instead had a more dreamy, ethereal sound to it that threw some fans for a loop but brought new ones in so what the heck- give it a good listen and add to your collection.

Steve Marriott’s record company in accordance with his estate released a superb collection, “Need Your Love” on September 25, 2013.  This album features all manner of tunes plucked from throughout his amazing, albeit it somewhat short career- he died at age 44.  This is an interesting time capsule for music fans of today, which is why we encourage everyone to seek it out wherever you buy fine rock and roll music.  You will love it, please look for it.

Just the Facts: no sooner does Trump throw off collusion with Russia, now, Deutsche Bank says he and his son-in-law may have been laundering money; uh huh

I think the first strike against President Trump and his family comes from citizen Trump when he began questioning the citizenship of Mr. Obama as far back as 2010. According to various sources, he directed his ‘fixer,’ then-personal attorney for Mr. Trump, Michael Cohen, to begin floating questions about the birthplace of President Obama. We did, after all, see an ID for one of the colleges Mr. Obama attended in which, the words “Foreign Student” were emblazoned across it. Sounds somewhat suspicious to me.

SPRING SESSION 2019

BLOG POST #3,124 AT THE AICP-END

533 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2020

Poor President Trump, out of the frying pan and into the fire thanks to the hatred the Democrats have for him…

Oildale, CA, 05-21-2019 Tuesday: Poor President Trump.  Poor, poor President Donald J. Trump.  What the heck does someone have to do in order to be cleared of all wrongdoing?  The laborious report compiled by Special Counsel Robert S. Mueller III found NO evidence of ‘collusion’ with the Russians or ‘obstruction,’ although it left that one somewhat vague so the Democrats conducting oversight can continue being royal pains in the ass.

Now, some goober at the New York Times has reported that ‘Deutsche Bank failed to forward suspicions about President Donald Trump to American authorities.’  My, my, my, will it ever end?  Most likely not because Mr. Trump has done several things to draw the ire of Deep State Democrat and RINO denizens who will take him out using whatever method works best and guarantees results.

Mr. Trump did not let up on this and even though he chose not to enter the 2012 presidential race, he wanted more proof.  He went so far as to offer President Obama a charitable donation to a foundation of his choosing of $5 million for the presentation of a long-form birth certificate and his passport records.

As we know, this was not the last of it as famed Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio was conducting his own investigation into the veracity of whether Mr. Obama was an American citizen or was not.  Perhaps this could be among the reasons that Obama’s Justice Department went after the sheriff and managed to bring a conviction against him for ‘mistreating illegal aliens’ or whatever the heck it was he did, something for which President Trump later pardoned him.

Many people have questioned Mr. Obama’s ‘citizenship’ including me because he does not nor did he ever ‘act like an American.’  He sought to reverse virtually everything every other president has done, whether making friends of our enemies and enemies of our friends, putting the nation deeper in debt, deeper than it ever has been, as well as being far too friendly with every Muslim nation and terrorist group such as Iran and the Muslim Brotherhood.

Yet, after challenge after challenge not producing the ‘beef,’ Mr. Obama remained in office and won a second term.  Whether he is a true American citizen or an imposter, we shall never know but one day, the truth will indeed come out.

Back to Mr. Trump, his next strike to draw the wrath of the Deep State on him was conducting chants of “LOCK HER UP” at his campaign and presidential re-election rallies when they came around to Hillary Clinton.  Granted, Mrs. Clinton has done much to go to prison for but it has to have aroused deep-seated hatred and anger towards Donald J. Trump because it was flummoxing for her.

Never before in modern American history, however, have we ever heard something as outrageous and as humorous for saying what most would never say, that Mrs. Clinton should be in prison along with hubby and former President Bill Clinton.

The third and final strike that Mr. Trump made was when he beat Mrs. Clinton and won the White House in November 2016.  For some reason, this amazing act, this come-from-behind victory (the polls and pundits counted him out) by Mr. Trump made the Democratic Party go nuts.  They were close to throwing open windows on the 29th floor and going out the window or eating guns or taking cyanide capsules.

Sadly, someone managed to talk them down and so here we are now, at a time in our history that future historians will look back on and cry that ‘one political party went wholly insane in its hatred and anger towards an American president, elected fair and square.’

They also most likely will tell their readers and their students that somehow, we dodged a bullet in that a ‘very determined coup, one conducted by the higher-ups and the muckety-mucks in the Justice Department, the Obama White House, the various intelligence agencies and the like almost succeeded.’  The coup was not conducted by the rank-and-file attorneys and agents but by the heads of the departments, agencies, and by the president, himself, Mr. Obama.

President Trump was indeed cleared and then, the Democrats in the House such as Jerry Nadler and Adam Schiff and that putz of putzes, Eric Swalwell still continue trying to drag the president down.  Sometimes, one does wish that President Trump was indeed the fascist dictator they claim he is because it would be fun to see them in orange jumpsuits awaiting execution for treason.

Thanks for joining me today, my friends, we will continue tomorrow with more.  God bless and stay strong, we still have a long, long ways to go. Ikh vel dir zehn margn!

Tony Banks of Genesis fame decided to form a band of his own having seen how well Mike Rutherford was doing with Mike + the Mechanics.  He formed Bankstatement and the first album’s name was “Bankstatement,” which came out on August 19, 1989.  Besides the keyboardist, the band featured Steve Hillage (guitars), Alistair Gordon and Jayney Klimek (vocals), Geoff Dugmore (drums), Pino Palladino (bass), and other musicians of note.  Fans and critics alike loved it which is why we urge everyone to seek this one out, give it a good listen, and add it to your collection.  You will enjoy it.

Santana released their next album, “Abraxas,” on September 23, 1970, the album that would push them over the top as a band as well as its namesake as both the leader of an ever-evolving cast of musicians into the next century.  This album delivered two massive hits, “Oyé Como Va,” and “Black Magic Woman,” two massive hits that remain popular to this day.  The lineup featured Greg Rolie (lead vocals/keyboards), David Brown (bass), Michael Shrieve (drums), Michael Carabello (congas/percussion), and Jose “Chepito” Areas (timbales/congas/percussion) along with some additional personnel to add flavor to the overall sound.  We encourage everyone to seek out this amazing album and add it to your ever-growing collection.  You will be glad you did.

The Small Faces record company released a massive box set on February 06, 2013, “Here Comes the Nice” Box Set.  This features eight discs containing so much unreleased, rare, and even some live performances that for diehard fans this is like finding the Rosetta stone in the heart of the Egyptian desert.  If you have yet to get in on the ground floor with this unsung but highly inspirational and crazed British rock band that spawned so many superb musicians, well, this is how you go about it so why not go about it now by seeking it out at your favorite online or brick-and-mortar music haunt.  You will be glad you did.

Just the Facts: Elizabeth Warren is to Native Americans what Rachel Dolezal is to black Americans: a PHONY with little to no political future

Well, Senator Warren is to Native Americans what Rachel Dolezal (remember her?) is to blacks. A phony. A grasping conniver seeking to capitalize on the historic pain and misery suffered by these indigenous or kidnapped peoples and to then use this heartache and suffering as a means of elevating them above others who are members of neither group. Intersectional and identity politics at its best/worst.

WINTER SESSION 2019

BLOG POST #2,989 AT THE AICP-END

668 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2020

Elizabeth Warren culturally misappropriates Cherokee identity for personal gain…so why isn’t the left up in arms over it?

Oildale, CA, 01-06-2019 Sunday:  Lately, we have seen Elizabeth Warren, Massachusetts senator, blow off one foot and then another through being out of touch and how can I say this… asinine.  Last year, she proudly released a video in which, she crowed about the less than one percent Native American heritage she so proudly claimed and still boasts, even though being 1,124th anything means…NOTHING.

Still, we have to give the old gal some credit because most people, upon learning they contain NO whatever it is they claim they do, would have slunk away and hoped that people would have an opportunity to forget their embarrassing faux pas.

Not our Liz, however, she came back and live-streamed herself hanging out in the kitchen at home, telling her viewers (perhaps, all three of them), that “I am gonna go get me a beer.”  Wow.  Talking down to the viewers like they are a bunch of ignorant hicks.

Senator Warren is as unlikeable as is Hillary Clinton.  Neither woman has the personality that makes you want to run up and embrace her.  Warren sounds bitchy while Hillary is bitchy and shrill and that is one of the major reasons neither one of them will ever achieve anything greater than what they already have unless they launch a violent coup and whack their enemies in the bowels of the Lubyanka.

Senator Warren still claims she is a “Cherokee” but smartly acknowledges that each American tribe has a right to determine who is and more importantly, who is NOT a member.  So far, the Cherokee Nation does not claim its whitist self-proclaimed member, which is why the Massachusetts former Harvard law professor is left in the doldrums.  Poor Liz, what can she do?

Well, Senator Warren is to Native Americans what Rachel Dolezal (remember her?) is to blacks.  A phony.  A grasping conniver seeking to capitalize on the historic pain and misery suffered by these indigenous or kidnapped peoples and to then use this heartache and suffering as a means of elevating them above others who are members of neither group.  Intersectional and identity politics at its best/worst.

Liberals always lecture us about cultural appropriation.  They tell us that on Taco Tuesdays, we should not don ersatz moustaches, serapes, sombreros, sandals, and speaking with fake accents unless we are one-hundred-percent Latino.

They tell us on Asian Night that if we wear coolie hats and long pigtails, that we are mean, evil scumbags and if anyone should make a mistake so dire as to use the word, ‘oriental,’ they go berserk and want to beat the hell out of us.

Halloween is even worse.  People who are NOT Indians cannot dress up as such while anyone who dresses up as a cowboy is horrible, a member of an oppressive group that sought to wipe out the former.

To dress up as a witch is to invite a good ass-whooping as witches have suffered historical wrongs at the hands of rich white men (and women) and therefore are a protected class even though there is no such thing as ‘witchcraft’ (yeah, put a hex on me).

Yet, all these liberals are not out there lighting into BOGUS Native American Elizabeth Warren, chastising her for cultural misappropriation, blasting her for being the fraud she is, and demanding that she repay Harvard for having been a disingenuous schemer seeking to increase her monetary gain at the price of those who truly were Native American but who lost out on jobs to her.

I contend that identity politics is crass, that it is destructive, and that the sooner we jettison it off into space along with political correctness, the sooner we can begin repairing the damage that unchecked liberalism, groupthink, and Marxism have done our country.

All these faux ideas such as intersectionality in which, various groups on the left determine WHO is the BIGGEST victim, thereby deserving the MOST respect from everyone else are damaging our country.  I seriously doubt that Vladimir Putin gives a flying f**k about who crisscrosses three or more avenues and thus has more street creds than others who might only reside on one side of the ‘intersection.’  No, he only cares about Russia.

As I wrap up my two-week stint that began Christmas Eve and concludes today, I want to say this: stop with political correctness, stop with intersectionality, let us treat one another as fellow human beings, and see the good in each other instead of striving to be the biggest victims.

Victimhood does nothing for anyone other than to give them a pass on attempting to better themselves as all one must do is go, “Wah, wah, wah, I’m a victim, I can’t get up, I need government to take something away from someone else and give it to me.  Oh, boohoo-hoo.”

Senator Warren, you are going nowhere fast.  You will not even get close to the nomination of the Democratic Party for 2020, perhaps beyond.  You might not even win reelection if a strong candidate opposes you when you come up for reelection because thinking, caring people despise phonies.  They detest them, especially if they seek to capitalize on an aforementioned group with long historical timelines of persecution.

Friends, thank you for spending the last two weeks with me, we have witnessed some incredible numbers in viewership and hope we can continue building upon them.  Chef Tiresias- aka Chef “T”- will be in tomorrow for his first stint of the New Year.  God bless.

See you next time.  Build the wall, Mr. President, and deport them all.  Shalom.

Humble Pie released its fifth studio effort, “Smokin’,” on March 10, 1972.  The band was now doing powerhouse rock, which is why Peter Frampton had left.  The band now featured Steve Marriott (guitars, keyboards, harmonica, and vocals), Clem Clemson (from Colosseum) (guitars, keyboards, and backing vocals), Greg Ridley (bass and vocals), and Jerry Shirley (drums, keyboards, and vocals) with critics celebrating the effort.  Virtually every song- especially the hit, “30 Days in the Hole,” on this fabulous album is worth owning, which is why put it at the top of promotional charts.  We hope you will use the link we provide you here so you can go to Amazon.com and picking the CD up there in the format, the condition, and the price that is right for YOU—go there now and do it, you will be glad you did.

Just the Facts: liberalism requires nothing more than blind loyalty and lack of self-will whereas being a conservative requires a solid spine and an enormous amount of intestinal fortitude

Capitalism is what has made our country great and conservatism has been what has driven people to achieve enormous things as they made their way throughout life. One never finds the best inventors, the best creators, and the best dreamers living under communism; no, they find it in free, capitalist nations, places that offer rewards, incentives, and opportunities at better lives, which is why our country has been so successful.

WINTER SESSION 2019

BLOG POST #2,988 AT THE AICP-END

669 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2020

For the first time in our nation’s history, we have a generation of misguided youth who believe living with the yoke of socialism is better than living free

Oildale, CA, 01-05-2019 Saturday: I have explained to the readership- and on social media- how I began life long ago as a Democrat and then as I became enlightened, my consciousness migrated over to becoming a conservative.  You see, being a purist takes guts, to believe that all humanity is created equal, to believe that everyone possesses the spark of success given them by divinity is something that many of the left freak out over, go bonkers upon hearing, or want to inflict physical violence on the newly WOKE.  In effect, what I am saying is that being a liberal requires little to no guts, one merely goes along with the flow, abides by mob rule, and acknowledges NO personal responsibility.

In the 1930s when the Nazi Party was coming to power, it required no guts to move along with the flow whereas to stand up against fascism, to fight it in the streets at great risk to oneself and his or her family, did.  The Nazis did not deliver a minor beating to their enemies, their victims risked being beaten to death at the hands of mindless brutes (like the modern-day Antifa), empowered because they wore the swastika armband.

Now, I myself, did not experience this personally no more than I experienced the pogroms launched by the Soviets against not only Jews but against other ethnic minorities that either crossed the Stalinist regime or needed to be displaced but members of my family sure as heck did.

Born in 1932, I grew up in a world fearful of fascism as back in those days, it sure as heck was on the march.  I was nearly 10 years old when Japanese warplanes flew over Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, dropping bombs on the U.S. Pacific Fleet, bringing about the entry of our nation into the global catastrophe known as World War II.

As a young man, however, I served two years in the U.S. Army Reserve as did most young men my age.  I was a poor soldier but I did my best, spent time in numerous convoys crisscrossing the United States in those days as that is what the military did: traveled about the country in mobilization drives and military exercises, it was something ALL males of sound physical bodies and minds had to do and I did it.

I began my political life as a Democrat, voting in the 1954 Mid-Terms for my first time.  Upon leaving the service, I entered the university and eventually worked my way up the ladder to professor and then into the administration of the California State University system.

I saw liberal politics there for the first time and as I remained in higher education for the remainder of my life, I fell out of love with liberal educators because back then, it was about indoctrination and mind control and not about elevating the collective consciousness of the students.

The 1960s changed many things, what with the unpopular war raging in Southeast Asia.  We also were in conflict with the Soviets and the Red Chinese to a lesser extent and it was ‘us’ against ‘them.’

Unfortunately, the numbers of professors, people possessing masters and doctorates and the like that favored full-blown socialism and communism was shocking so in my classes, I always attempted to counter the Marxists, Leninists, and Stalinists who somehow thought we would all be better off living under Mao’s Little Red Book than we were under capitalism.  The problem with this line of reasoning is that it simply is a pipe dream.

Now, we are reaping what our education system has sown.  We now have a generation of Americans who believe that living with and underneath despotism is the way to right the historic wrongs they believe have affected our nation from its founding as well as other nations around the globe whom they believe WE have taken advantage of and harmed.

I am not saying that our nation is without fault; what I am saying is that the United States has been a beacon of freedom to people around the world.  People can come here and find refuge, they can come here and find second chances, and they can come here to escape persecution.  However, unchecked illegal immigration is devouring our country alive and it is lessening the combined national identity that has enabled us to extend helping hands to those in need.

Just because one lives in economic doldrums or fears their government or violent criminal gangs does not mean we can absorb them.  We must look at every claim for refugee status on a case by case basis, we cannot just throw open the doors and allow everyone to flood in and bring about the downfall of our country.

I hope our elected leaders from ALL parties will unite to do what is best for the country and its people.  Let us hope they will defend the borders, enable our people to have increasingly better standards of living from generation to generation as it once was instead of being told as we were under the Obama administration that ‘this was as good as it was going to get and that we needed someone like HIM to administer the national decline.’

There is no reason to accept a ‘national decline.’  No, let us put our country first which will enable us to then help other countries put theirs first.  The rate things are going if left unchecked, meaning if ongoing political strife continues to reign supreme then we can kiss everything the Founders did for us goodbye.  We cannot permit that to happen.

Join me tomorrow for my final day of this stint; we will meet again sometime later in the year with God’s approval.  Thanks for being here with me and thanks for following my posts.

In 1971, Moby Grape reunited with all five founding members for another go-round.  Once more, the band featured the same hard-driving quintet: a recovered Skip Spence (guitars/vocals), Jerry Miller (lead guitar/vocals), Don Stevenson (drums/vocals) Peter Lewis (guitars/vocals), and Bob Mosley (bass/vocals).  The resulting effort, “20 Granite Creek,” hit record store shelves on September 18, 1971, and the band was back in action.  Always more akin to the Flamin’ Groovies than the Grateful Dead and the Jefferson Airplane, the band’s guitar interplay between three dueling lead guitars, a bass for the bottom, and a talented drummer, the band could knock almost everyone else out of the ballpark.  We love this effort and know that you will, too, whether you are fans of acid rock or of hard-rocking dudes from the beginning of a wonderful era.  We urge you to seek it out at Amazon.com where you can get it in the format, the condition, and the price that is right for you—you will love it—so please check it out now.

Rod Stewart released what would be considered his magnus opus on July 21, 1972, the stunning follow up to “Every Picture Tells a Story,” “Never a Dull Moment.”  This album continued making the vocalist a top draw and even though his band mates from the Faces worked with him on his albums, Stewart’s success put them in the position of being a backup band, which was sad as they deserved top draw, too.  Joining him were Ron Wood (guitars/harmonica/backing vocals), Ronnie Lane (bass guitars), Martin Quittenton (acoustic guitars), Mickey Waller and Kenney Jones (drums), Ian McLagan (keyboards), and Pete Sears (keyboards) along with numerous others.  We urge everyone to seek it out at your favorite dealer of CDs and LPs- you will be glad you did.

Just the Facts: wouldn’t it be great if the left and the right could agree on one thing: protecting the American people by putting their rights above the nonexistent rights of illegal aliens?

Unfortunately, this is where we now reside, folks, this side of crazy. We live in crazy ville as a country. We have politicians who so loathe our country that they want to seed it with people who are proven not to assimilate, who will break not only laws regarding coming across the borders illegally but who will thieve identities, who will NOT cooperate with law enforcement, and who will cause havoc among us.

WINTER SESSION 2019

BLOG POST #2,987 AT THE AICP-END

670 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2020

Wouldn’t it be nice if Democrats and Republicans could agree on protecting our nation from harmful outsiders?

Oildale, CA, 01-04-2019 Friday: We announced the winner of the First Annual Lavrentiy Beria Award yesterday and the world is still turning, no one has died, people are not running amok in the streets, and life goes on as it should and will.  Following the death of Newman, California, police corporal Ronil Singh, thanks to Sacramento’s misguided sanctuary state policies, there was no doubt in the minds of a majority of voters as to whom was going to win the sought-after prize.  However, it is a shame that a police officer had to lose his life on Christmas in order for now-former Governor Jerry Brown and then- and still-current state Attorney-General Xavier Becerra to grab the hankered-after flagship award.

There should be no ‘sanctuaries’ anywhere in any nation in which, law enforcement and elected politicians put the ‘rights’ of noncitizens ahead of those whom they take an oath to serve and protect: legal citizens and people becoming citizens.   Yet, we have an entire state and numerous locales across the country that put the nonexistent rights, other than what the Constitution guarantees them, ahead of citizens.  It is madness.

It is not racist to note that many of these people come from nonwhite countries, it is a fact.  No longer being mostly Mexicans, now it is people from Central America, China, the Middle East, and Africa who seek to penetrate our borders, settle here, have some kids so they have an anchor keeping them from being ousted, and to live off the diminishing fat of the land.

It is not racist to point out that these people bring violence with them, either being prey or predators, it is not racist to note that without an orderly process of entry and exit as we had with Ellis Island or with the Bracero Program, we are seeing diseases we have either banished from beyond our borders or have long eradicated, yet here they are, once again.

I do not wish these people ill, I do not want to see them harmed but our nation lacks the ability to absorb the world’s excess population, no matter how much the liberal leftists believes it can or should.  Why should we?  It is not our duty to do so yet the leftists call us names if we stand against it.  Globalism does not work unless everyone is more or less on the same page, which much of the Third World is not.

Not until we see everyone rise to the level of where we reside and throw off their old violent ways like bloody jihad or female genital mutilation or stops with child brides and other outrageous activity can we welcome in newcomers.  It simply cannot work until the world becomes as enlightened as we are.

I hope before I grow too old to continue here at the blog that members of both major political parties can find common ground and stop using illegal immigration as the club with which to pummel the other.  Let us return to putting the American people first and doing what is best for them and not for people living in the middle of Guatemala, El Salvador, or Honduras.

Let us instruct the younger generations that protecting one’s borders is not evil, racist, or bigoted.  Let us ask our counterparts on the other side of the aisle to stop sowing dissension, to stop filling heads with mindless muck, to stop indoctrinating new generations of fascists and socialists.  The only way the United States can aid other countries is if we ourselves are strong and able to provide help so that it does not bankrupt us.

We have historic examples that demonstrate what can happen when a nation-state tries to welcome in the world.  The Roman Empire tried to spread their culture throughout the known world via Pax Romana, transforming the people around the Mediterranean, central and northern Europe, Britain, North Africa, and down to the Red Sea into clones of the greatest culture the world has ever known.  It did not work.

Likewise, we cannot make other countries and regions of the worlds resemble us.  What we can do is to provide them with necessary examples so that they have something upon which, to build, to establish secure governmental institutions, to provide liberty and justice for all and not despotism in the form of socialism, communism, or fascism.

I would love to see the world rise to the occasion just as I would love to see the United Nations get off its big duff and do something good for the world instead of being a place for Third World thugs and dictators to vociferously attack the United States, all the while holding their clutching paws out, awaiting the next donation of cash and resources.

I would love to see the Democrats and the Republicans unite to protect the American people, to help us rise to the next level so our economy is self-sustaining and so that every American can participate in the wealth generated by our fabulous country.  Then, and only then can we aid people who lack what we have but welcoming them in when our country is struggling to keeps it head above water is insane and will have disastrous consequences.

Thanks for joining me today, folks.  I have two more days to go and then my wife and I will be headed for the British Virgin Islands for a much-needed rest.  I thank you for joining me today and throughout the past week-and-a-half, without you, I would be lonely.

Let’s pray for the wellbeing of our country.  See you tomorrow.  Shalom.

Suffering from lack of success and a changing music scene, Moby Grape’s remnants released their final effort of their first go-round, “Truly Fine Citizen,” on July 30, 1969.  The band now consisted of Jerry Miller (lead guitar/vocals), Don Stevenson (drums/vocals) Peter Lewis (guitars/vocals), and hired gun, Bob Moore (bass/vocals).  A definite country feel to the music, one song stood out above all, an unnoticed gem but well worth the price of admission, “Now I Know High” by Lewis.  An astonishing tune and a fine album, we encourage everyone to use the link we provide you here so you can zip on over to the world’s greatest online marketplace, Amazon.com.  Once there, you can pick it up in the format, price, and condition you like.  We thank you.

The Jeff Beck Group released its next effort on May 01, 1972, the self-titled, “Jeff Beck Group.” The lineup remained the same with Jeff Beck (guitars/vocals), Bobby Tench (vocals and rhythm guitar), Clive Chaman (bass), Cozy Powell (drums) and Max Middleton (keyboards).  Critics hammered the album, which was sad because the man and his band soared above the competition.  We love this album and highly recommend it to all fans of the man, his band(s), and of the time.  Please, seek it out at your favorite dealer of CDs and LPs, we urge you to do it now.
