130. TODAY IN HISTORY—TUESDAY, MAY 10, 2022

1943 Monday: The coming late spring-early summer offensive in the Soviet Union is getting in motion. Operation Citadel- the attack on the Kursk Salient in the Ukraine- has been given the go-ahead by Hitler himself even though German intelligence assets have told the Fuhrer that the Soviets have established a massive defense in depth. This will be the greatest clash of armor and tactical aircraft the world has ever seen.

  71. 2017 Wednesday: To the delight of environmentalists everywhere, the U.S. Geological Service releases a study claiming that some glaciers in Montana have receded by 85-percent over the past half-century.  No wonder imbeciles such as Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez believe the world is coming to an end soon.  Sadly, the Sun is the sole driver of all climatic changes throughout the entire Solar System.  Conversation and fighting pollution is indeed important but the Earth- and other planets- have all gone through periods of climate change throughout the history of said Solar system.  Meanwhile, to the ‘horror’ of Democrats, President Donald J. Trump shares classified intelligence regarding an ISIS attack coming soon against Russia with Russian Ambassador Sergey Ivanovich Kislyak and Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in the Oval Office.  (Hence, Trump-Russia ‘collusion’).

Currently, the 46th president is shy 182,305 deaths.

  78. 2021 Monday C: Now that Mo has relocated to Israel, let’s look at the statistics there: 838,957 confirmed cases, 6,378 confirmed deaths, and 831,620 confirmed recoveries (same as yesterday’s figures).   Let’s look at one non-country- Nigeria, a place overrun with far too many ‘princes’ all-in need of U.S. senior citizens’ life savings: 165,419 cases of the virus, 2,065 confirmed deaths and 156,297 confirmed recoveries.[xi]
  79. 2021 Monday D: Stock Market Closes/Precious And Rare Metals: DOW Jones Industrial Average: 34,742.82, DOWN 34.92 points (-0.10%).  Next, the NASDAQ: 13,401.86, DOWN 350.38 points (-2.55%).  Finally, here are the stats for the S&P 500: 4,188.43, DOWN 44.17 points (-1.04%).  The price of Light Sweet Crude Oil is $64.85 per barrel, -0.07 (-0.011%).  The price of GOLD is $1,835.50 per troy oz., -2.10 (-0.11%) while the price of SILVER is $27.37 per troy ounce, -0.12 (-0.44%).  The price of PLATINUM is $1,249.50 per troy oz, -16.00 (-1.26%) while the price of COPPER is $4.70 per pound, -0.02 (-0.45%).[xii]  The price of PALLADIUM is $2,952.91 per troy oz, +26.40 (+0.90%).[xiii] The price of RHODIUM is $28,900.00 per troy oz., -400.00 (-1.37%).[xiv]    Currently, Bitcoin, one U.S. greenback = 0.000018.  As for Chi-Com money, one-dollar U.S. = 6.42 Chinese yuan.  Meanwhile, one-dollar U.S. = 0.82 euros and in Mexican pesos equals 19.92.     In Seychellois Rupee, one greenback equals 15.18 and in Sierran Leonean Leone, a buck equals 10,154.00 and in Singapore Dollar, one dollar equals 1.33 of theirs.[xv]
  80. 2021 Monday E: U.S. National Debt And Gasoline Prices In The Four States In Which We Have Chef-Authors– Thanks to the Biden administration, gasoline prices continue rising by the day- in California, gasoline prices have risen to over $4.103 per gallon, $2.876 in Florida, $3.810 in Hawaii, and $3.514 in Washington state.[xvi]    Let’s look at one other location- Pennsylvania: $3.088.  We are going to do something else that could be fun- gasoline prices around the world going from cheapest to highest.  The next country on the list has the next lowest gasoline price in the world- Sudan: $2.026 per U.S. Gallon.[xvii]  Meanwhile, here is a snapshot of the U.S. National Debt for today: $28,270,989,160,341 and the Democrats are adding TRILLIONS of dollars to it, not BILLIONS but flipping TRILLIONS.[xviii]  Cloward and Piven causing problems like they always do.
  81. 2021 Monday F: Joe Biden’s Border Catastrophe– Under President Biden’s lack of attention, the border continues being overrun by illegal aliens.  ‘Border Czar’ “Kooky Kamala” Harris is in her 48th day as the so-called ‘Border Czar’ and has yet to tour the region.   Meanwhile, reporters from various news agencies continue reporting on the nonstop flow of illegal aliens pouring into the country.  One reporter on Fox News Channel witnessed a group of 40 or more Venezuelans walking across the Rio Grande this morning.  Hence why we say the river should be seeded with alligator pups.  Why aren’t local authorities running miles of razor wire along the border under their authority?  Minefields, folks, minefields.
  82. 2021 Monday G: Joe Biden Regime News I– Today, we learned that after four months ‘on the job,’ Joe Biden has left dozens of ambassadorships unfilled.  What’s up with that?  Next, President Biden restores ‘tranny health protections’ reversing yet another President Donald J. Trump policy.  In other questionable news, a new AP-NORC Poll says that President Biden’s ‘approval ratings’ are buoyed by his pandemic response.’  WTF?  The commander-in-chief has done flipping nothing to improve the lives of the American people.  Next, supposedly Joe Biden is meeting with GOP leaders at the pivotal point in his ‘deal-making.’  What deal-making?   Senate Minority Leader “Cocaine Mitch” McConnell, RINO-KY, says, ‘the GOP is willing to agree to $800 billion on infrastructure but not the $1.3 trillion’ demanded by Joe Biden’s handlers.
  83. 2021 Monday H: Chi-Com News I– New reports are surfacing that suggest the Chi-Coms planned to weaponize bat viruses such as COVID-19 back in 2015 to further their Chi-Com BS agenda.  Screw them.  Next, author Gordon Chang says that the Chi-Coms ‘committed mass murder of Americans using COVID-19 as their weapon.’  In other Chi-Com news, the communists are demanding- we repeat- DEMANDING- the U.N. cancel a hearing on Uighur Muslims.  (Note- the communists don’t want anyone to know about their Nazi-like efforts to liquidate the Uighur Muslims and other religious and ethnic minorities so the Han Chinamen can rule supreme.  F**k them).
  84. 2021 Monday I: Foreign News / Overseas News– Overnight in Israel, 80 people have been injured fighting Israeli authorities.  It’s Muslim celebration time and when they celebrate, they attack Israeli military, law enforcement, and even the citizens.  For the first time in history, Hamas has fired rockets, we repeat- ROCKETS- into Jerusalem, a place the morons claim is SACRED to them.  The Knesset had to evacuate, so great was the danger.  (Note- folks, this is why God gave the world the neutron bomb- like Hamas and the rest of the trash up NOW). Ramadan begins in two days and of course, the Palestinians are going to run amok.  Elsewhere, U.S. Coast Guard assets working in the Straits of Hormuz were forced to fire warning shots at pesky Iranian swift boats trying to harass U.S. assets.  Sink them.
  85. 2021 Monday J: COVID-19 Updates And Additional Information– The AMAZING Dr. Tony Fauci says, ‘there’s no doubt that the United States UNDERCOUNTED COVID-19 deaths.’  He also believes we must continue wearing masks into 2022.   Elsewhere in the world, once the COVID-19 curfews were lifted, people are now hosting and enjoying LARGE PARTIES.   Meanwhile, a new TIPP Poll says that the number of Americans who won’t take the vaccine has now risen to 26-percent.   Next, the FDA approves Pfizer-BioNTech’s Chi-Vi vaccine for use with 12-15-year-olds. In other Chi-Vi news, Wyoming joins the ranks of states to BAN COVID-19 ‘vaccine passports.’  Awesome.  Finally, many Catholic schools are having trouble in the times of COVID-19 keeping their doors open for students.
  86. 2021 Monday K: Voting Integrity / Fraudulent And Stolen Election News– The Arizona 2020 Election Audit is off to a bad start as they cannot get their hands on the routers, the passwords, and other valuable information and tools so they can uncover the truth about the election many believe was STOLEN.  IF the Democrats have NOTHING to hide- then hand the requested stuff over to the investigators.   Meanwhile, Michigan is filing a lawsuit pleading evidence shows that votes in that state for President Donald J. Trump were flipped over to drooling old Joe “I’m a Racist” Biden.  Godspeed.
  87. 2021 Monday L: Business News– Thanks to the stupidity of the Joe Biden regime, restaurants across the United States- including ours- are suffering due to a hiring crisis.  People make more money to sit at home on their asses than they do at work.  However, senile old Joe Biden did say that ‘if the unemployed don’t take jobs offered to them, they will lose their benefits.’  How does that work, Joe?  Employers aren’t going to people’s homes begging them to go to work.  What crap.  Speaking of the ‘generous unemployment benefits’ (until they run out and the country goes broke), Governor Spencer J. Cox, R-UT, says that the ‘added benefits are a disincentive.’  Amen.   Elsewhere, a California man was arrested for his $5 million PPP scam.  The dimwit spent the money on expensive sports cars.  The dumb ass is going to prison.  SOB.
  88. 2021 Monday M: National Security News– The Colonial oil pipeline shutdown enters its fourth day.  The 1,500-mile-long pipeline runs through 17 states.  Rep. Lauren Boebert, R-CO 3rd congressional district put out a tweet in which she said- more or less- that ’17 U.S. national security and intelligence agencies said there was NO interference in the 2020 Elections yet NONE of them had a clue that a pipeline running through 17 states was in danger of being hacked.’[xix]  Elsewhere, new information continues to arise showing that Hunter Biden may have had a close relationship with a Chi-Com female agent in much the same way as the slow-witted so-called ‘farter-in-chief’ Rep. Eric Swalwell, DS-CA 15th congressional district, had with Christine Fang, aka Fang-Fang, an operative of the Ministry of State Security, the MSS, an organization comparable to the KGB.  This woman sent Hunter Biden opposition research for his father’s 2020 presidential run.  Hmmm…
  89. 2021 Monday N: Political News I– Sadly, we learnt today just how compromised U.S. Attorney General William “Bill” Barr was- he fought to keep flawed FBI Director Christopher Wray in his position.  Wow.  Next, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-CA 23rd congressional district, says that ‘Joe Biden’s TAX LIE has been exposed by rising inflation.  Speaking of Leader McCarthy, he backs Rep. Elise Stefanik, R-NY 21st congressional district, over GOP House Conference Chair Liz Cheney, RINO-WY, someone who can’t move on from January 06, 2021, and who won’t STFU about it.  She must GO.   Speaking of ‘Liz Cheney,’ U.S. Army Colonel Denton Knapp, Retired, is running for the windbag’s seat in 2022.  Elsewhere, Rep. James “Influence” Clyburn, D-SC 6th congressional district, says he is ‘willing to consider police reform without ending qualified immunity for law enforcement officers.’  Hmmm.  We shall see.
  90. 2021 Monday O: Political News II– President Donald J. Trump is endorsing Lt. Governor Dan Patrick, R-TX, for re-election.  Next, after the world learned that Kentucky Derby winner Medina Spirit ‘was doped,’ the 45th president pointed out that crap such as this is emblematic of the way the United States is going.  We agree.  Meanwhile, Senator Rick Scott, R-FL, says that ‘Joe Biden bears full responsibility for the LOW JOBS report of last week.’
  91. 2021 Monday P: Social Media News And Big Tech News– Numerous state attorney generals are seeking to stop Instagram’s ‘children’s accounts’ where the social media app can monitor and influence children’s minds.  We concur.  Later today, the FBI has confirmed that Darkside did indeed hack the Colonial pipeline.
  92. 2021 Monday Q: Wokeism / Woke / Wokies– Rep. Jerry Carl, R-AL 1st congressional district, told Newsmax that ‘the United States is distracted by WOKE.’  Amen.  Next, NBC is dropping the Golden Globes in 2022 over a diversity snafu.
  93. 2021 Monday R: Miscellaneous News I– Quarterback Tim Tebow has signed a one-year deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars.  Soon, we will hear sobbing and wailing from fans of communist Colin “The Communist” Kaepernick whom NO ONE still will employ.  Boohoo.   Next, the IOC president called off a trip to Tokyo due to the ‘VID outbreak that just won’t go away there.   Meanwhile, Tucker Carlson broke the news of the DEEP TIES between the AMAZING Dr. Tony Fauci and his U.S. taxpayer funding of the Wuhan Institute of Virology, the birthplace of the Xi Jinping Bat Flu.  The question he raises is WHY the AMAZING Dr. Tony Fauci is not the subject of a criminal investigation or why he isn’t sitting in the hot seat before Congress getting his balls grilled off by concerned representatives and senators?  Damned good question.  The fact that the AMAZING Dr. Tony Fauci’s department helped FUND this debacle means he should be doing challenging time in the slammer NOW.  Is this what the Democrats are willing to do to destroy a highly popular president such as Donald J. Trump?  Shocking.
  94. 2021 Monday S: Whacked-Out News Of The Day– Nonagenarian House Speaker Nancy “Mumbles” Pelosi has been blasted over her inability to distinguish one black baseball player from another.   It has come to light that when the aging speaker afflicted with dementia sent out birthday greetings to famed San Francisco Giants slugger, Willie Mays, for his 90th birthday (May 06, 1931),  she put out a picture of her and another dingbat with Giants player Willie McCovey who died on October 31, 2018.  When a big uproar descended upon her aging back, she had the temerity to blame a staffer for her failure to determine one black baseball legend from another.  Ain’t that how it always goes?  (Note- Nance, you truly should consider retirement and we mean YESTERDAY, not today).
  95. 2022 Tuesday: You know the drill…

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

The sophomore effort by the Beach Boys- “Surfin’ USA”- came out on March 25, 1963, and featured the same lineup of Brian Wilson (bass, piano, and vocals), Dennis Wilson (drums and vocals), Carl Wilson (lead guitar and vocals), Mike Love (vocals), and David Marks (rhythm guitar and vocals).  This album continued the new group’s rise to the top via tunes such as the title track, “Farmer’s Daughter,” and “Shut Down.”  The Beach Boys were not content to ride the wave with just one genre of music, i.e., surf music, as numerous copycats were jumping aboard the surf train.  They also were delving into their love of hot rods, hot chicks, and wild times in So-Cal.  Hawthorne, California, would never be the same nor would the world.  We hope you will seek this one out and make it a part of your daily listening pleasure- you will be glad you did.  Enjoy.

[xix] Here is what WE think: like the Deepwater Horizon oil platform in the Gulf of Mexico blew up back in 2010, at the time many of us had our suspicions that the Obama-Biden administration had some foreknowledge of that event and used to shut down offshore oil drilling for years.  They shut down drilling off our coasts but allowed the rigs to relocate off the coast of Brazil to drill for oil down there.  Likewise, we think the Russian-backed Darkside hacking group shut this extremely important pipeline so as (1) to cut the amount of oil in the country; (2) to drive up the costs of oil and oil-based products; and (3) to help hasten the bullshit Green New Deal through to being.  Mark our words- Olaf Bologolo.

  69. 2020 Friday: Democrats and the Trump administration continue trying to hammer out a deal that will bring real relief to the American people combatting the Chinese-caused Wuhan Virus, aka COVID-19, which is sweeping the world.  The Democrats continue trying to expand the size of government and to stick in things like additional funding for abortion and other crazy things and the Trump administration and the GOP continue smacking them back and knocking them down.  What is up with the Democrats?  No one knows but they are a bunch of sick f**ks.  Meanwhile, President Trump addresses reporters at the White House and some of the assembled reporters seem eager to know if the president himself might be infected.  Horrible people.  Finally, the State Department ordered the Chinese ambassador to the United States to shut the hell up about trying to connect the U.S. Army to the outbreak of coronavirus that seemingly spilled out of that nation’s ONLY biowarfare lab.  The moratorium on air flights from Europe to the U.S. begins tonight at midnight.
  70. 2021 Saturday: DAY 53 of the BIDEN REGIME…these fools think they are going to confiscate our firearms.  They can try.  The DCCC is launching an ad blitz on television so the Biden administration can take a ‘victory lap’ as though somehow, THEY are the ones who created the vaccines and distributed them to the public.  In fact, they created a commercial showing every living ex-president and former first lady- with the exception of the Trumps!- going on about how miraculous it was we produced several COVID-19 vaccines.  Wow.  Talk about envy, jealousy, and hatred (and do you know what?  It won’t surprise us to see Jeb Bush throw his hat into the ring in 2023.  We agree with what the Reverend Jesse Jackson said several years back: ‘stay out’ d-bushes!’  Amen.).   Note- Joe Biden held a Democrats-only celebration of the ‘Chi-Vi Relief Bill’ in the White House Rose Garden yesterday which pissed off all the Republicans.
  71. 2021 Saturday A: The U.S. Department of the Treasury and the Internal Revenue Service announce that the Biden COVID-19 relief checks are getting underway, perhaps as early as this weekend.  We recall Joe saying before he became president that everyone was going to get $2,000 checks and not $1,400 checks.  Then, they combined the Joe’s payments with President Trump’s payments which means we already got the $600 and now the $1,400 is on the way.  What a scam.  This is taxpayer money, so we are getting our own money back PLUS we’ll have to pay taxes on the money back to the government.  This is the Democratic Party’s infamous money-go-round.  Now, they’re talking about a $4 trillion infrastructure bill- who’s going to do the majority of the work?  Chi-Coms like they do the California High-Speed Rail boondoggle.  All a scam…
  72. 2021 Saturday B: Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell says, ‘the Dems are still seeking to take control of U.S. Elections.’  We know this, Mitch.  The question is this: HOW will they circumvent the U.S. Constitution and when H.R. 1 arrives at the U.S. Supreme Court under challenge, what will Chief Justice John Roberts do?  Meanwhile, Republican senators continue badgering their Democrat counterparts and the Biden administration as to when they are going to remove the fencing and razor wire surrounding the U.S. Capitol and White House and when the troops are going to go home?  That phony POS General Russell Honoré says the Capitol’s defense requires 2,500 troops at all times around it; yet only 500 have volunteered to remain?  We guess the ones wanting to return home must be the evil Trumpsters the general seeks to excise like cancer from the U.S. military.  He should remember this: there are more of us than there are of YOU,  general.
  73. 2021 Saturday C: Part of General Honoré’s plan is to remove guns from the American people.  The Democrat sponsored bill seeks to ban ALL military-style assault weapons and magazines that hold more than 10 rounds.  Senator Dianne Feinstein, D-CA, claims the American people who already own such guns and accessories will be able to keep them, but we know that’s all bulls**t.  If they get this through without pushback, those ‘rights’ will vanish, too.  They also want background checks which they always demand but everyone who gets firearms- unless they’re thugs- undergoes background checks.  We prefer ‘somebody stole our guns.’  F**k anyone seeking to take away our 2nd amendment rights.
  74.  2021 Saturday D: Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell is backing a new process in his home state that would change how vacancies would be filled within the state if an opening arises.  It would strip the governor- who in this case happens to be Democrat Andy Beshear- of the ability to put a politician of his choice into a vacancy should one arise and permit the heavily GOP-controlled legislature in the driver’s seat.  We like this and we hope the bill becomes law.  The only reason Beshear won the seat back in 2018 is that everyone despised the Republican who held the seat- Matt Bevin- at the time.
  75. 2021 Saturday E: The FCC designates FIVE Chi-Com tech companies as inimical to U.S. national security interests: Huawei, ZTE, Hytera Communications, Hangzhou Hikvision Digital Technology and Dahua Technology.  Each of these companies serves the Ministry of State Security in Beijing, monitoring the globe on behalf of the Chi-Com leadership.  Not good.  In other U.S. national security news, the southern border is still under assault by a tidal wave of illegal aliens from Central America as well as from across the world.  In all of 2019, the Trump administration had ONLY 2,600 illegal alien minors in custody while the Biden administration in just 53 days has 3,200 illegal aliens brats locked up in over-filled containers doing nothing.  Where are all the Democrats screaming and hollering about their mistreatment?  Where are the fake news reporters?  Why has the Biden administration forbidden cameras in the facilities?  We say load them onto buses and deport them NOW.   Even the Mexican president is blasting Joe Biden.  “Trump did a far better job dealing with illegal immigration” or words to that effect.
  76. 2021 Saturday F: The U.S. Department of Justice plans on filing more than 400 cases against the ‘insurrectionists’ that stormed the U.S. Capitol Building on January 06, 2021.  We suspect the Antifa, and Black Lives Matter scum will somehow be released on their own recognizance whereas any true Trump supporters will remain in solitary confinement after the judge throws the book at them.  Such are fascist countries.   In other Joe Biden news, the National Parks Service BANS fireworks at Mt. Rushmore this year.   Meanwhile, Dr. Scott Gottlieb who led the FDA during the Trump administration says, “Americans will be gathering before the Fourth of July.”  Joe Biden had said earlier in the week that we would be ‘lucky’ if we could gather in small groups.  F**k that, too.  The country is getting ready to erupt.  Soon.
  77. 2021 Saturday G: In other news, Vice President Mike Pence and Second Lady Karen Pence announce the birth of their first grandchild.  Next, apparently the Portland, Oregon, cops took the fight to the Antifa human scum and kept them in check after a rough couple of days before.  We hope they begin cracking some skulls and run these scumbags out of the state.  Elsewhere, the Russian cops detain 200 people who were attending an opposition forum.  We learned yesterday that Putin’s No. 1 critic- Alexei Navalny- was moved from a prison near Moscow to an undisclosed black site.  These people want to see him freed.  Now, they probably are going to be joining him.
  78. 2021 Saturday H: Here are the COVID-19 statistics for the planet as a whole: 119,469,346 confirmed cases, +445,489, 2,647,229, confirmed deaths, +8,342, and 67,621,472 confirmed recoveries, +252,910.  Next, here are the stats for the United States, the intended target of the Chinese-engineered Wuhan Virus pandemic: 29,633,697 confirmed cases, up 126,711 from yesterday’s reporting, 538,918 confirmed deaths, UP 3,160, and 115,379,301 confirmed recoveries.  Note- we are going to do our own estimates of recoveries based on percentages seeing as how the CDC won’t report them.  It would appear in the age of ‘Joe Biden,’ people are becoming sicker with the Chinese Virus and dying faster than they did under Donald Trump.  Time to impeach this pathetic, senile drooling POS.  NOW.   NOTE: SINCE JOE BIDEN BECAME PRESIDENT ON JANUARY 20, 2021, THERE HAVE BEEN 210,441 CHI-VI DEATHS IN THE United States- Senile Joe, in another 12 days, you will have tied the total number witnessed by the Trump administration in nearly a year of the frigging ‘VID.
  79. 2021 Saturday I: Next, in the three states in which, the world-famous American Institute of Culinary Politics-the Elemental News of the Day employs chef-bloggers- California, Hawaii, and Washington- here are the stats, California first: 3,616,872 confirmed cases, 55,336 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Next here are the numbers for Hawaii: 28,646 confirmed cases, 450 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Finally, here are the stats for Washington: 351,419 confirmed cases, 5,183 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Let us look at one other piece of U.S. territory- North Dakota, aka the Peace Garden State: currently, they have 100,973 confirmed cases, 1,488 confirmed deaths, and 98,797 confirmed recoveries.  Now that Mo has relocated to Israel, let’s look at the statistics there: 817,799 confirmed cases, 5,988 confirmed deaths, and 776,099 confirmed recoveries.   Let’s look at one other country- Peru, the home of the Incan Empire at least until Francisco Pizarro arrived on scene: 1,402,610 cases of the old Hubei Hooey, 48,664 confirmed deaths, and 1,308,175 confirmed recoveries.  Speaking of the Chi-Coms, why even bother- they’re liars.
  80. 2021 Saturday J: Thanks to the Biden administration, gasoline prices continue rising by the day- in California, gasoline prices have risen to over $3.824 per gallon, $3.543 in Hawaii, and $3.252 in Washington state.  Thank you, Joe, how about allowing fracking to continue as well as the Keystone XL Pipeline?  It would be beneficial for the people of this country.   Meanwhile, here is a snapshot of the U.S. National Debt for today: $28,048,361,528,794 and the Democrats are adding TRILLIONS of dollars to it, not BILLIONS but flipping TRILLIONS.  Cloward and Piven running amok.  The country is going to implode.
  81. 2021 Saturday K: Here are the results for tonight’s Super Lotto Draw #3542 with a $28 million jackpot on the line: 03, 07, 08, 13, 21, and Mega 19.  Out of 117,459 winning tickets, the highest winner was ONE person who had FIVE numbers but NO Mega for a prize of $39,731.  The 5/5 ticket was sold at La Positas Liquor & Market in Santa Barbara, CA 93105.  Next, here are the numbers for the Powerball Draw #828 with a $169 million jackpot up for grabs- 05, 11, 51, 56, 61, and Powerball 02.  Out of 76,264 winning tickets, the highest winners were FOUR people who had FOUR numbers PLUS the Powerball for a prize of $10,854 apiece.
  82. 2021 Saturday L: Famed middleweight boxing champion “Marvelous Marvin” Hagler died from unexpected causes at age 66.  At one time, he would hold the WBA, WBC, IBF, and The Ring magazine middleweight boxing titles of the world while compiling a pro record of 67 fights, 62 wins (52 KOs), 3 losses, and 2 draws.
  83. 2022 Sunday: Stick around…

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

Levon Helm returned with his third solo album, “American Son,” on June 17, 1980, which did much to boost the singer/musician’s solo career.  There is no questioning his unique powerful voice, Helm could belt them out with the best of them and sang many of the Band’s most notable songs.  Here- like the best of vocalists, he reinterprets the works of others and does one hell of a job.  Joining Levon Helm (drums, vocals, harmonicas) are Buddy Emmons (perhaps the foremost pedal steel guitarist of our day), Muscle Shoals, Alabama, session drummer Jerry Carrigan, and an ever-growing cast of numerous other talented musicians and vocalists to round out the sound.  We hope you will seek this one out wherever you shop for the absolute best in music.  We think you will enjoy it as much as we do which is a great deal.  Seek it out now.

Geez, how many streaming services do we need?  Every single one of them tries their best to milk their customers.  Enough is enough.   Elsewhere, country pop singer and actor Glen Campbell dies at age 81.
  55. 2018 Wednesday: The United States announced that it would impose new sanctions on Russia for illegally using a chemical weapon to kill a former spy and his daughter in Great Britain. Fricking Vladimir Putin, a POS.
  56. 2019 Thursday: Russia once again demonstrates its lack of ability- or its concern for human life- when a mysterious explosion at a nuclear weapons plant and testing facility in the sealed city of Sarov occurs, killing at least five scientists and wounding God knows how more. Come on, Vladimir, impose some safeguards on your people.
  57. 2020 Saturday: Here are today’s COVID-19 Wuhan Virus, aka the Xi Jinping Bat Flu, aka the Chinese Flu, the Kung Flu, you know, the Chinese “gift” that will not stop giving, statistics for today: 19,425,393 confirmed cases, UP 264,587, 722,066 confirmed deaths, UP 5,983, and 11,773,122 confirmed recoveries, UP 167,998. In the United States, here are today’s numbers: 5,054,067 confirmed cases, UP 52,386 new cases, 163,575 confirmed deaths, UP 1,156, and 2,477,554 confirmed recoveries, UP 22,976.  Next, in the three states where the world-famous American Institute of Culinary Politics-The Elemental News of the Day employs chef-bloggers- California, Hawaii, and Washington- here are the stats, California first: 545,787 confirmed cases, 10,189 confirmed deaths, but thanks to Gov. Gavin Newsom being little more than a festering POS, NO mention of confirmed recoveries.  In Hawaii, here are the stats: 3,115 confirmed cases, thirty-one confirmed deaths, and 1,467 confirmed recoveries.  Finally, in the too-far-left-to-save-state-of-Washington, here are the stats: 61,587 confirmed cases, 1,672 confirmed deaths, and like California’s worthless governor, Gov. Jay Inslee will not list the number of confirmed recoveries.  Let us look at the numbers of another state we have not looked at lately, Ohio, the “Buckeye State,” one of the worst states for out-of-control liberal politics.  The number of cases in the state is 99,969 while the number of deaths is 3,668.  No mention of the number of confirmed recoveries.  Such a shame but the one thing we do know is that Governor Mike DeWine, a RINO, is little more than a hardcore political hack.
  58. 2020 Saturday A: Let us look at the second-highest nation infected with the Wuhan Virus, Brazil: The South American nation has 3,012,412 cases of Xi Jinping’s gift to the world what with 100,477 deaths, and 2,068,394 recoveries.   India is the third highest nation infected with this dastardly, lab-engineered virus what with 2,152,020 confirmed cases, 43,453 confirmed deaths, and 1,479,804 confirmed recoveries.  Russia comes in fourth what with 882,347 confirmed cases, 14,854 confirmed deaths, and 690,207 confirmed recoveries.  Now, let us look at the Chi-Coms, the place where this needless disaster began: they come in 30th among nations with 84,590 confirmed cases, 4,634 confirmed deaths, and 79,123 confirmed recoveries (although our sources in Hong Kong and Macau tell us they are 10-times higher than reported which sounds about right for the main communist hellhole on the planet.  Shame on them).
  59. 2020 Saturday B: Sadly, without any help from the Democrats, President Trump takes it upon himself to improve the lot of the American people, people whose lives have been thrown into freefall thanks to the Chinese Virus Crisis, aka the Xi Jinping Bat Flu, by signing an executive order that will do the following: (1) $400 in enhanced unemployment benefits throughout the remainder of the year; (2) A payroll ‘holiday’ tax that will cut payroll taxes for every American making under $100,000 per year; (3) A continued moratorium on evictions; and (4) deferring student loan repayments until next year. The president is asking the states to cover 25-percent of the costs while the federal government will cover the other 75-percent.  Democrats threaten to take him to court over these actions.  WHY?  They want bailouts for Blue States- like California- that is so far in the RED it risks imploding in upon itself because CalPERS needs billions of dollars to keep it solvent while Sacramento gives money and benefits- including free health care to ILLEGAL ALIENS.  Let California DIE.  We say this even though our blog site is based there.  It is time for change.
  60. 2020 Saturday C: The people of Beirut, Lebanon, continue protesting their government’s corruption in allowing their port to blow up on Tuesday thanks to more than 2,700 tons of ammonium nitrate stored in the port. Some even call for the lynching of Hezbollah boss, Hassan Nasrallah, a POS terrorist if one ever existed.  In some cases, police use live ammunition on the protesters as violence gets out of control.  Meanwhile, Portland, Oregon, sees yet another night of mayhem in the streets, its 70th but who is counting, right) while Mayor Ted Wheeler scolds Antifa for misbehaving.  Folks do what the police in Beirut are doing, the moment you see some POS rioter raise his arm to throw an incendiary device, shoot them.  It works and has always worked in the past.  Has the United States lost its nerve?
  61. 2021 Sunday: Stick around…

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

On September 12, 2011, Jethro Tull- at the behest of their record label obviously- released another ‘best of package,’ “Jethro Tull Essential” which featured slim pickings of 16 tracks culled from their earlier albums.  If you have yet to introduce the music of this band to your ears, this is a good way in which one can do it just so long as you buy one or two of their other compilations at the same time, too.  In that way, you are able to get a good selection of music with which to delight one’s auditory senses.  We hope you will seek it out by visiting whatever site it is you choose for the absolute best in rock music.  Remember this, however, with Amazon.com having become the POS company that it has, try shopping LOCAL.

  68. 2017 Wednesday: To the delight of environmentalists everywhere, the U.S.
  69. 2018 Thursday: Following Iran firing missiles into Israel’s Golan Heights from Syria, the IDF lights up Iranian targets in Syria with 70 missiles, blowing up numerous installations and other military infrastructure.  Of course, Iran claims Israel started the fight.

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

Badfinger disbanded after their previous album and then the duo of Tom Evans and Joey Molland reformed to make a comeback album.  The resulting effort, “Airwaves,” came out on May 11, 1979, and the band featured the pair with a bevy of session musicians around them with which to create somewhat of a new sound.  However, critics were unkind and their record label made little to no effort to promote the album which saw it die a slow death.  Still, it has its moments and fans of the band love it which is why we encourage everyone to seek it out and consider making it a part of your growing album collection- we think you will be glad you did.

  55. 2019 Thursday: Russia once again demonstrates its lack of ability- or its concern for human life- when a mysterious explosion at a nuclear weapons plant and testing facility in the sealed city of Sarov occurs, killing at least five scientists and wounding God knows how more. Come on, Vladimir, impose some safeguards on your people.
  56. 2020 Saturday: Here are today’s COVID-19 Wuhan Virus, aka the Xi Jinping Bat Flu, aka the Chinese Flu, the Kung Flu, you know, the Chinese “gift” that won’t stop giving, statistics for today: 19,425,393 confirmed cases, UP 264,587, 722,066 confirmed deaths, UP 5,983, and 11,773,122 confirmed recoveries, UP 167,998. In Hawaii, here are the stats: 3,115 confirmed cases, 31 confirmed deaths, and 1,467 confirmed recoveries.  Finally, in the too-far-left-to-save-state-of-Washington, here are the stats: 61,587 confirmed cases, 1,672 confirmed deaths, and like California’s worthless governor, Gov. Jay Inslee won’t list the number of confirmed recoveries.  Let’s look at the numbers of another state we haven’t looked at lately, Ohio, the “Buckeye State,” one of the worst states for out-of-control liberal politics.  The number of cases in the state is 99,969 while the number of deaths is 3,668.  No mention of the number of confirmed recoveries.  Such a shame but the one thing we do know is that Governor Mike DeWine, a RINO, is little more than a hardcore political hack.
  57. 2020 Saturday A: Let’s look at the second-highest nation infected with the Wuhan Virus, Brazil: the South American nation has 3,012,412 cases of Xi Jinping’s gift to the world what with 100,477 deaths, and 2,068,394 recoveries. Now, let’s look at the Chi-Coms, the place where this needless disaster began: they come in 30th among nations with 84,590 confirmed cases, 4,634 confirmed deaths, and 79,123 confirmed recoveries (although our sources in Hong Kong and Macau tell us they are 10-times higher than reported which sounds about right for the main communist hellhole on the planet.  Shame on them).
  58. 2020 Saturday B: Sadly, without any help from the Democrats, President Trump takes it upon himself to improve the lot of the American people, people whose lives have been thrown into freefall thanks to the Chinese Virus Crisis, aka the Xi Jinping Bat Flu, by signing an executive order that will do the following: (1) $400 in enhanced unemployment benefits throughout the remainder of the year; (2) A payroll ‘holiday’ tax that will cut payroll taxes for every American making under $100,000 per year; (3) A continued moratorium on evictions; and (4) deferring student loan repayments until next year.
  59. 2020 Saturday C: The people of Beirut, Lebanon, continue protesting their government’s corruption in allowing their port to blow up on Tuesday thanks to more than 2,700 tons of ammonium nitrate stored in the port. Some even call for the lynching of Hezbollah boss, Hassan Nasrallah, a POS terrorist if one ever existed.  In some cases, police use live ammunition on the protesters as violence gets out of control.  Meanwhile, Portland, Oregon, sees yet another night of mayhem in the streets, its 70th but who’s counting, right) while Mayor Ted Wheeler scolds Antifa for misbehaving.  Folks do what the police in Beirut are doing, the moment you see some POS rioter raise his arm to throw an incendiary device, shoot them.  It works and has always worked in the past.  Has the United States lost its nerve?

Roger Hodgson released his next solo effort, a DVD- “Take the Long Way Home- Live in Montreal”- on June 10, 2007.  This effort features the artist on keyboards, guitars, and vocals with a horn player providing accompaniment.  We sometimes ponder WHY artists (or their record companies) release certain things and then end up with the conclusion that “it is what it is.”  One thing is for certain: IF you love this band in the way that we do, then you will want whatever material an artist releases which is why we consider ourselves ‘completists’ as should you if you have been with us since the founding of our world-famous (joking, of course) blog.  We thank you for evaluating our suggestions and opinions…

#PF001.1u Dance Songs #21 04-20-2020 (400)

The record business being what it is, Pink Floyd released a ‘best of’ compilation effort that was truly an amalgam of re-recorded tunes and alternate versions of tunes from preceding albums.  “A Collection of Great Dance Songs” came out on November 23, 1981 and fills a gap in the band’s career as the end of the original lineup was coming soon due to exhaustion, anger with one another, lack of money even though tours were big-sellers and albums even more so.  We hope you will seek this one out and consider adding it to your growing collection of nothing but the absolute best in rock music; you can thank us later.

Just the Facts: the Green Movement is custom-made for disgruntled, former communists seeking to dominate the world

What people must accept, whether they want to or not, is that the Climate Change-Global Warming-and-now-Extreme Weather are terms for what goes on all the time: the climate is always in a state of flux, thanks to solar winds and sunspots. We can control solar ‘belches’ or ‘farts;’ all we can do is to conserve resources, fight pollution, and find new ways by which, we can keep our planet clean and healthy.

SPRING SESSION 2019

BLOG POST #3,113 AT THE AICP-END

544 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2020

The Environmentalist Movement is custom-made for frustrated communists…

Bakersfield, CA, 05-10-2019 Friday:  After we posted the article this past Tuesday regarding what is occurring far above us in the skies over Kern County, i.e., the Chem Trails of unknown origin, people have sent us emails saying it sure does appear to be some sort of scientific experimentation.  All we can say is that it almost never stops- although short breaks do occur- and with temperatures being 20 degrees or more cooler, it seems to be all the proof one would require to back a theory that something very peculiar is going on and that we are the guinea pigs.

The question is, after all the heinous things our government has done to unsuspecting Americans before, why would our leaders think that it would be able to do something such as this again without giving us a head’s up?  There is no telling what sort of chemicals scientists might be inseminating into the upper atmosphere but if they are driving temperatures DOWN by 20-plus degrees or more, they sure as heck cannot be good.  Right?

We live in a state in which, our liberal Democrat leaders are famed climate change warriors but we seriously doubt that the Smiler Governor Gavin Newsom has the wherewithal to order something such as this to occur.  He does not have the extra cash lying about what with the state employees’ retirement funds almost always teetering on the brink of insolvency as well as the crumbling high speed rail system that although broke, seems to continue moving forward.  That leaves but one culprit and that would be the federal government.

If that was all we were fighting to do, it would be okay.  However, disgruntled and homeless communists had to find a place they could go once the Soviet Union collapsed and the Second World spiraled off into the ‘ozone.’

The communists thrashed about like fish dying on a water-starved beach, searching for some way by which, they could find purpose anew.  When they flopped across the environmentalist movement, light bulbs burst forth over their heads.  What better way to institute global communism than by enlisting everyone alive on the planet in a global crusade to save the planet from extinction?  Made to order, baby!

Instead of wailing about ‘class’ and ‘redistribution schemes’ to punish the haves, if we tell the world the planet is going to die in 40-50 years if we do not cleave together and embark on a difficult but necessary drive to save the Earth, then we are condemning our children and their children (and even their children) to incineration as the planet overheats and everyone dies… a very painful death.

The environmentalist movement, aka Green Movement, is custom-made for frustrated communists.  It allows them to implement all manner of top-heavy, “1984”-style rules and regulations atop the people.  It allows them to enlist the children and their children in a campaign of attacking, criticizing, and even fingering their parents for ideas deemed contrary to saving the planet.

This has been going on now since the Berlin Wall came tumbling down, since the flag of the Soviet Union came down its flagpole for the final time and a somewhat free Russia reappeared in its place.  One-by-one and then ten-by-ten and then even more communists redistributed themselves to the West and insinuated themselves into various governments and into the United Nations all for the express purpose of subjugating the Free World.

As in most communist countries, the government could care less about its people.  Josef Stalin, the head of the USSR from the 1920s into the 1950s had his thug Beria test their nation’s first nuclear weapons in the backwoods of Kazakhstan without a care for what would happen to the population there.

In North Korea, Kim Jong-Un does the same thing his father and grandfather did: use the people as a resource and not as an asset.  Starvation from mismanagement, from theft, and from a dictatorial mindset that could care less about what happens to generations of his people is the same sort of power left-wing environmentalists would love to see here.  After all, for the majority to live (so they say) some will have to die.

It is not a stretch to think that our government would not be using human beings as test subjects as they have done it numerous times before.  For a reminder, read my Tuesday post.  We know that something is occurring in the skies over our county and above Bakersfield, the county seat, because what one witnesses here, well, you see it nowhere else.

For those of us who are in our seventies or older, we may not pay a price for this experimentation but for those younger and for their children, who knows what is going to happen to their DNA thanks to the contamination going on above us.  Respiratory diseases are already rampant here so what more is to come?

I guess we will find out.

See you tomorrow.

On August 17, 1973, the James Gang released another ‘best of’ compilation, this one featuring the music of the Joe Walsh era exclusively.  “Best of Featuring Joe Walsh,” contained the big, the medium, and the smaller cuts that defined the group and made it one of the powerhouse bands of its time.  Please, seek this one out and add it your ever-growing collection so you can enjoy it for years to come- you will be glad you did.

Rod Stewart released his next solo effort on October 10, 2010, “Fly Me to the Moon: the Great American Songbook V.”  Unlike Mick Jagger, Rod Stewart began to accept the fact that he was no longer a young rocker and since he did covers of a vast number of other people’s songs, there was no reason not to continue onward in the easy-listening genre of music.  As always, he has a sterling cast of musicians joining him and the album sold very well, becoming the fifth installment of a five-album series.  Please, seek it out wherever you seek out the best in rock-and-roll music- you will be glad you did.
