213. TODAY IN HISTORY—MONDAY, AUGUST 01, 2022

2022 Monday: Friends, let me float a theory by you: could the war in Ukraine be a false flag operation of sorts? Joe Biden’s regime is on its last legs and the goons still have two years to go. Still, the world is accepting skyrocketing gas prices, energy shortages, food shortages, Russian and communist Chinese hegemony, and a concerted effort to topple prosperous Western democracies all in the name of saving a despotic regime in Eastern Europe.

  67. 2015 Saturday: After Puerto Rican Governor Alejandro Garcia Padilla warned creditors the previous June that if its debt did not undergo restructuring to keep the commonwealth afloat, Puerto Rico fails to make a $58 billion payment on bonds issued by the Public Finance Corporation.  In other news, Palestinian riffraff have been causing trouble for the Israelis who after the scumbags murder an innocent wee babe in his crib by setting him on fire leads Israeli Defense Forces to take the fight to the human garbage.  At least two Palestinian 17-year-olds are killed in the resulting fray.

Trump for seeking to remove U.S. troops from Germany and redeploy them farther east to countries such as Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia, as well as bring some of them home.  Very few NATO member countries fail to pay their annual 2-percent dues.   As for the most prosperous nation in Western Europe and a linchpin of the alliance: Germany wants U.S. troops to protect them from Russia, yet Angela Merkel makes energy deals with Vladimir Putin for natural gas pipelines coming directly into her country.  This is bulls**t!

Jay Inslee won’t list the number of confirmed recoveries.  Let’s look at the numbers of another state we haven’t looked at lately, Pennsylvania, the “Keystone State,” one of the worst states for out-of-control liberal politics.  The number of cases in the state is 112,936 while the number of deaths is 13,588.  No mention of the number of confirmed recoveries.  Such a shame but the one thing we do know is that Governor Tom Wolf is little more than a hardcore political hack.

[viii]
  80. 2021 Sunday E: U.S. National Debt and Gasoline Prices in the Four States in which we have Chef-Authors- Thanks to the Biden administration, gasoline prices continue rising by the day and NOTE- these prices are sans TAXES- in California, gasoline prices have risen to $4.373 per gallon, $2.971 in Florida, $4.084 in Hawaii, and $3.854 in Washington state. [ix]    Let’s look at one other location- Louisiana: $2.816.  We are going to do something else that could be fun- gasoline prices around the world going from cheapest to highest.  The next country on the list has the next lowest gasoline price in the world- Jamaica: $4.711 per U.S. Gallon.[x]  Meanwhile, here is a snapshot of the U.S. National Debt for today: $28,591,181,135,271 and the Democrats are adding TRILLIONS of dollars to it, not BILLIONS but flipping TRILLIONS.[xi]  Cloward and Piven causing problems like they always do which is not good- those two bastards should have met their ends on the chopping block.  As for holders of U.S. debt, after United Arab Emirates, the next largest holder of U.S. debt is Mexico with $49 billion of U.S. national debt (it is important to note that these numbers vary every day with one nation after another jockeying for top position.
  81. 2021 Sunday F: Joe Biden’s Border Catastrophe I– By our count, today is Day No. 131 for the so-called ‘Border Czar’ “Kooky Kamala” Harris to be in charge of the horrendous humanitarian disaster along the southern border and to have done absolutely NOTHING about it.  It’s also her 37th day since her one and only visit to the southern border and to have done absolutely NOTHING about it.   When we say ‘nothing,’ we mean, “NOTHING.”  It is time she laid down her duties- not that she ever picked them up- and returned home to spend more time with her family.  Adios.  Customs and Border Protection officials report that in the month of June, the authorities caught 190,000 illegals which means many, many more were able to have beaten the dragnet.   Speaking of CBP, former acting commissioner of the organization- Mark Morgan- calls out the hypocrisy of both Joe Biden and the Democrats over their stoppage of the border wall construction- ‘it would be cheaper to complete the wall rather than care for all of these frigging illegal aliens.’
  82. 2021 Sunday G: Joe Biden’s Border Catastrophe II– Speaking of the horrendous ongoing mess along the southern border, here are the numbers reported by One America News for this disgusting disaster we have no choice but to watch.  It affects all of us, it harms all of us, and it will eat away at the guts of the country until everything implodes.  First, here is the COST THIS DAY of caring for all the frigging illegal aliens: $583,016,384.   Second, here is the COST THIS YEAR: $232,911,831,040.  Third, here are the numbers of illegal aliens estimated to have crossed the border this year: 2,387,159.  Fourth and final, here is the CONSERVATIVE estimate of illegals believed to be within the United States: 36,387,160.  (Sources for One America News Illegal Alien Numbers: Center for Immigration Studies, Department of Homeland Security, Federation for American Immigration Reform, Institute for Defense Analyses, Yale, and MIT).  Note- if you have read our blog site for any length of time, then you know we estimated as far back as 2009 when we first began being the voice of the culinary worker and professional chef that back then, we believed the number to be between 35-to-50 million whereas now, we suspect the honest-to-God number is closer to 75-100 million which means we have the seeds of our own demise residing within our country.  DEPORT THEM NOW no matter the difficulty or the cost.
  83. 2021 Sunday H: Illegal Aliens, Invaders, and ‘Refugees’ News– While sending Cubans back to their communist hellhole, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security says that at least 100,000 Haitians will be provided work permits so they can work (and vote) in the U.S. without fear.  Elsewhere, seizures of fentanyl along the southern border are up by as much as 4,000-percent.  CBP officials report the drug comes from labs in Mexico supplied by the Chi-Coms and that it is used in cocaine, heroin, and in pill presses to create fake oxycontin and other pharmaceutical prescribed drugs being used by Americans.  Deaths are going way up once again now that President Donald J. Trump is not in the White House.
  84. 2021 Sunday I: Foreign News / Overseas News I– Former Iranian thug President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad says that while HE was president, the government lied for EIGHT years about its countless human rights abuses and violations.  Mahmoud, everyone knows that.  Iranian leaders are ALL liars.  Elsewhere, the government of Myanmar has extended its ‘state of emergency’ with the leader of the coup proclaimed the prime minister.  Meanwhile, the war in Afghanistan continues to rage what with the cities of Herat, Lashkar Gah, and Kandahar being attacked and overwhelmed in some places.  In the western portion of the country, the Taliban has attacked a United Nations compound.
  85. 2021 Sunday J:  COVID-19 Updates and Additional Information I– As drooling Joe Biden continues trying to discern ways by which he can coerce the American people into taking the Kung Flu vaccines, Governor Kim Reynolds, R-IA, says ‘nope’ to offering $100 incentives to entice her citizens into getting the shots.  (Note- we suspect they could jack it up to $1,000 per jab and people would still say, “HELL, NO, we are not getting this duck dreck”).  Meanwhile, CNN ‘health expert’ John Berman puts the blame for the ongoing ‘pandemic’ onto the shoulders of the unvaccinated while totally ignoring the wide-open borders and the hundreds of thousands of infected illegals pouring across into the United States.  Good try, Mr. Berman, but it’s all bullshit.  This dimwit also says that Joe Biden declared victory ‘way too early.’
  86. 2021 Sunday K: COVID-19 Updates and Additional Information II– Two countries- Thailand and Indonesia- are pushing away from using Chi-Com vaccines, finding fault with how they are manufactured and the myriad side effects they cause the recipients.  (Note- NO one should use any vaccine from either the Chi-Coms or the Russians.  Both are f**ked up countries).   Elsewhere, a new poll says that only 45-percent of the American people are concerned about getting the Chi-Vi while 13-percent- hardcore liberals- wet their beds at night in terror of contracting it.   What’s more, Xi Jinping Bat Flu deaths and hospitalizations are at record lows.  Yes, the Delta variant of the Chi-Com flu is much more contagious- like the common cold- but much less lethal.  Also let’s not forget that about one week ago today, the Dems were beginning to drive up the fears of the Lambda variant but then abruptly yanked that one back for use at a later date.  Delta comes from India while Lambda comes from Peru.
  87. 2021 Sunday L: Health and Medical Alerts– Fox News host Judge Janine Pirro says that the government is setting up for future COVID-19 lockdowns and restrictions- especially going into 2022 so the Dems and their RINO sycophants can replicate the elections theft they perfected in conjunction with the Chi-Coms in 2020.  Judge Pirro points out that the LEFT is the science deniers.  She also asked what the ‘endgame’ in this horrible scheme is? In other Chi-Vi news, the Centers for Disease Control is paying the National Football League’s Alumni Association $3.5 million to get retired players to coerce current players into taking the Xi Jinping Bat Flu vaccines even though they have no desire to do it.  Next, in two San Francisco, California, hospitals, 233 breakthrough cases among fully vaccinated staff have occurred with at least TWO of them hospitalized.  Finally, South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster, R, is blasting health officials for exaggerating COVID-19’s danger via their frightening hyperbole.
  88. 2021 Sunday M: Political News I– The ‘mask mandate’ imposed by nonagenarian U.S. House Speaker Nancy “Mumbles” Pelosi is not only unpopular with most Republicans, but  also becoming increasingly unpopular with many Democrats as well- so says the polls.  Speaking of mask mandates, Washington, D.C. Mayor Muriel “Bow-Wow” Bowser like many other Democrats- including “Mumbles” Pelosi and her corpulent sidekick, Rep. Jerrold “Tub-of-Goo” Nadler, DS-NY 10th CD, all have been captured wandering around sans masks.  Next, Democrats are fretting over the fact that millions of Americans could soon be homeless once the moratorium on evictions vanishes but here’s the deal: most of the $45 billion earmarked for helping renters and mortgage holders keep current remains unused which means it’s resting peacefully in the pockets of Democrat and RINO politicians.
  89. 2021 Sunday N: Political News II– We have been long hoping for this but it sounds like former Alaska GOP Governor Sarah Palin could return to politics and take a go at highly unpopular current Senator Lisa Murkowski in 2022.  We hope to God she runs and beats this Republican-in-name-only.  She would be an amazing addition to the U.S. Senate.  Meanwhile, U.S. House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-CA 23rd CD, says that ‘IF he gets the gavel in November 2022, he will launch investigations into drooling Joe Biden and extremely corrupt House Speaker “Mumbles” Pelosi.   Speaking of moronic Democrats, the police chief of Charleston, South Carolina, Luther Reynolds, says that the Democrats’ Defund the Police scheme is blowing up in their faces.
  90. 2021 Sunday O: Business News– Amazon has been slammed with a $886 million fine over a recent data law breach.  Meanwhile, British-based bank Monzo Bank Ltd finds itself embroiled in a money-laundering mess.
  91. 2022 Monday: Friends, let me float a theory by you: could the war in Ukraine be a false flag operation of sorts?  Joe Biden’s regime is on its last legs and the goons still have two years to go.  Still, the world is accepting skyrocketing gas prices, energy shortages, food shortages, Russian and communist Chinese hegemony, and a concerted effort to topple prosperous Western democracies all in the name of saving a despotic regime in Eastern Europe.  I suspect that once liberal lunatics such as Joe f**king Biden seize power as his good buddy, Justin Trudeau has already done and others follow, the New World Order will be imposed on the global population with the Chi-Coms at the top.  This is evil, coordinated, and propaganda/fake news supported, and I fear if they find a way to force everyone to remain at home another election cycle, it will become a fait accompli.  Although Ukraine is being destroyed, it will be rebuilt once the world is starved into submission, the people driven into poverty, and freeze in the winters and broil in the summers, it will be too late.  Tell me what you think- Chef Hector.

BEVERLY CARRICK ORIGINAL ARTWORK OF THE DAY:

This artwork is #0909 a 20” x 24” original oil painting by Beverly Carrick, which, she entitled, “Verbenas and Saguaros.”  It is among her more beautiful works and is available for sale.  You can see much more of her work at her website, found at beverlycarrick.com.  At her website, you will see not only more original oil paintings but also lithographs, giclees, prints, miniatures, photographs, and even her award-winning instructional video entitled, “Painting the Southwest with Beverly Carrick.”  For more than 60 years- up until her untimely death from cancer in 2012- Bev stood before the easel and painted for 10-12 hours per day. Known around the world for both the beauty and timelessness of her artworks, her paintings are in demand as much today as they were 30 years ago.  Hanging in private and public galleries and followed by many fans encircling the globe—her works instill awe because of her artistic brilliance and personal beauty.  We urge you to go to her website NOW and view her stunning body of work, one the Chi-Coms have long tried to copy and sell facsimiles of but which none of them have ever been able to reproduce well enough to fool novice art buyers.  Once there, it is possible that you will find something you like and will want to buy it for yourself, a friend, a loved one, or a neighbor- virtually anyone.  You will not be disappointed so please: do yourself a favor and go there as quickly as your fingers can tap the letters on your keyboard.  The American Institute of Culinary Politics-Elemental News of the Day, aka the AICPENDBLOG.COM, thanks each and every one of you, our beloved, loyal fan base.  DON’T buy any counterfeit bull crap coming out of mainland communist China, especially from Xinjiang Province, ground zero for Chi-Com National Socialism.

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

The next album by Beach Boys’ genius, Brian Wilson, is his first seasonal release: “What I Really Want for Christmas,” an album that came out on October 18, 2005.  The Beach Boys had a glorious Christmas album so it would make sense that Brian would do something similar and thus, here it is.  Besides doing some of his classic Beach Boys tunes such as “Little St. Nick” and “The Man with All the Toys,” he delivers some amazing covers of other, classic Yuletide tunes.  As always, he has a superb cast of supporting musicians with which to deliver a delightful holiday package.  We hope you will seek this one out and consider making it a part of your daily listening pleasure around the holidays.  You will be extremely glad you did- we guarantee it.

16. TODAY IN HISTORY—SUNDAY, JANUARY 16, 2022

2021 Saturday: In the aftermath of the Antifa-lead Capitol Hill Riots of January 06, federal investigators are putting government agencies under the spotlight to see who might have enabled the mobs to enter the Capitol. We see this as a combination of the “Night of the Long Knives” and the “Reichstag Fire” as being used by the Democrats and their RINO stooge allies on behalf of Beijing. Stay tuned. Meanwhile, Facebook- the nation’s self-appointed ministry of truth- is blocking all talk of events associated with Inauguration Day on January 20.

ENDNOTES:

[i] We look forward to doing the Clash but expect to do Supertramp first, then Pink Floyd, then Electric Light Orchestra/the Move, then Yes, and then perhaps the Clash.  They are among the amazing British rock bands of the 1970s and deserve to be acknowledged as such.

[ii] We promoted the music of this venerable British rock star- Peter Frampton- as part of a series of interconnected bands beginning on Tuesday, 22-April-2014 through Tuesday, 01-July-2014.  This included the Small Faces, Faces, Rod Stewart, Ronnie Wood, Jeff Beck, Steve Marriott, Humble Pie, and other interconnected parts.  We hope you will seek them out and consider adding them to your collection.  The actual album, “Frampton Comes Alive” appeared on Thursday, 15-May-2014.  We hope you will seek it out and consider adding it to your collection.

[iii] We first began promoting the music of Trapeze beginning on Monday, 15-October-2018 through Saturday, 27-October-2018.  We hope you will seek the music of this famed band out and consider adding it to your collection.

[iv] We have no clue as to when- or if- we will ever get around to promoting the music of Judas Priest.  Stick around long enough and you might be here on the day when we do.

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

The next album released by Richard and Linda Thompson was “Hokey Pokey,’ an album that came out on April 13, 1975.  Interlaced with English folk rock is some hardcore rock and roll/blues playing combined with innovative and many times humorous lyrics about people we all kind of know over the course of our lives.  Joining Mr. Thompson (vocals, guitars, other stringed instruments, and keyboards) are wife, Linda (vocals), Pat Donaldson (bass), Tim Donald (drums and percussion), Simon Nichol (guitars, pianos, organs, and vocals), John Kirkpatrick (accordions), and several others to round out the sound.  This is a great album; we love it and know that all fans of the band and of its individual members are going to love it too.  Please, seek it out now and add it to your collection- you will be glad you did.

  43. 2014 Monday: The U.S. Supreme Court unexpectedly cleared the way for a dramatic (and unnecessary) expansion of gay marriage in the United States as it rejected appeals from five states seeking to preserve their bans, effectively making such marriages legal in 30 states.  Note: there is NOTHING in the Constitution regarding marriage so this should be overturned.  Meanwhile, U.S. Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps received six-month suspension from sponsor organization USA Swimming due to a recent drunk driving charge; Phelps plans to enter a treatment program.
  44. 2015 Tuesday: New reports surface that Hillary Clinton’s private email server- the one in her basement near the crapper that stored up to 55,000 pages of confidential documents during her time as secretary of state underwent more assaults than previously suspected and/or confirmed.  Additional attacks came from communist China (say it ain’t so!), Germany, and South Korea.  Hillary said only information on her Pilates training and daughter Chelsea’s wedding were on that acid-washed and bleach-bitted server.  Uh, okay.
  45. 2016 Thursday: According to CBS News, reports say that the markets believe that ‘IF Donald J. Trump wins the White House in three weeks, the markets will tank whereas if Hillary Clinton should win the election, everything will be peachy keen.  Uh, okay.   Meanwhile as Hurricane Matthew continues making landfall along the coastlines of Florida, Georgia, and the Carolinas, at least 300,000 homes and businesses are without power and 2 million or more are trying to escape the affected regions.

  47. 2018 Saturday: After one of the most harrowing confirmations in recent memory, Brett Kavanaugh, following a 50-48 vote in the U.S. Senate, took his place on the Supreme Court of the United States as its 114th associate justice.  Elsewhere, due to the Palestinians being a persistent pain in the ass to Israel as they screech and protest along the border, Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman announces to the citizens of the Gaza Strip that the fishing zone off the coast will be reduced from 9 to 6 nautical miles.
  48. 2019 Sunday: Two rock stars died on this date: first, famed drummer Ginger Baker of Cream[iv], died in Canterbury, Kent, England, on this date.  He had entered the hospital on 09-25-2019.  Next, longtime bassist with the Southern rock band, .38-Special[v], Larry Junstrom, died on this date in Palatka, Florida, at age 70.   Elsewhere, a human rights report says that in Iraq, protests over rampant government corruption, rising unemployment, and poor living conditions over the past five days that 100 people have been slain and at least 4,000 injured.  Sever your ties with Iran and you would do better.   Meanwhile, hundreds of thousands of Hong Kong freedom fighters take to the streets to protest the newly imposed ban on wearing face masks at protests.
  49. 2020 Tuesday:  A House committee recommends the bust-up of the BIG TECH companies which cannot come soon enough.  As everyone knows, Google CEO Sundar Pichai discriminates against conservative voices.  We hope the U.S. government would strip him of citizenship and deport him back to Punjabistan, his family included.  Elsewhere in government, the U.S. Department of Justice announced today that there are ‘no COVID-19 exemptions in the U.S. Constitution that allows dictatorial governors and mayors (Gretchen Whitmer- are YOU listening?) to shutter all of society.  Henceforth, all such actions must cease.  Meanwhile, the Department of Transportation booted a union demand four making the wearing of masks without exception.  We must remember that early in the Chi-Vi Storm, doctors such as Tony Fauci said that masks did no good when it comes to battling a virus.  Then, all of a sudden, wearing masks and possibly goggles- as Dr. Fauci suggested- became the norm.
  50. 2020 Tuesday A: A recent Axios-Ipsos poll suggests that minds have not changed with President Donald J. Trump coming down with the Xi Jinping Bat Flu.  Speaking of the Kung Flu, the World Health Organization reports that 1-in-10 are COVID-19-infected around the globe.  Moving on, CNN dimwit Chris Cuomo calls President Trump’s bout of the Chi-Vi and subsequent return to the White House a ‘publicity stunt’ while his appearance on the Truman Balcony at the White House in which, he waved to supporters and news media professionals on site as somehow being akin to Benito Mussolini speaking to adoring crowds from the Palazzo Venezia.  Uh, okay.   Regarding the Chinese Virus, the White House is bucking strict guidelines for emergency release of COVID-19 vaccine; so, says the New York Times.  Regarding government, a desperate Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-NY, flipflops on recent Wuhan Virus Crisis comments saying that “REMOTE VOTING in the case of Judge Amy Coney Barrett to replace the late Ruth Bader Ginsburg is not right.’  Prior to this comment, he was all for remote meetings and attendance in the world’s (so-called) greatest deliberative body.’  For senators ill with COVID-19, attend sessions in full Hazmat suits.
  51. 2020 Tuesday B: Recent polls now report that “Pro-China Joe” Biden’s lead over President Donald J. Trump has now become an insurmountable 16 points.  Wow.  It’s all over!  Yeah, right.  Friends, we are more determined than ever to show up at polling places in person and to send these Beijing-loving leftists into the next dimension.  Meanwhile, the world’s ‘most beloved pontiff’- Pope Francis- announces that capitalism has failed, and that collectivism is the only way forward, due to the Chi-Vi encircling the world.  Friends, this is reason enough to hope that the next pope will be from European stock and not that of the flipping Third World.  Catholics here at the blog wish he would step down and return to Argentina.   Elsewhere, the Chi-Coms ‘warn the United States not to cross any of their red lines’ as though we should be afraid.  After the attack on Indian troops earlier in the year in the Himalayas, the Indian army returned and kicked ass on the communist Chinese, reclaiming their territory.
  52. 2020 Tuesday C: In Santa Monica, California, fiery lead guitarist with Van Halen- Eddie Van Halen- is dead at age 65 from a losing battle with long-term throat cancer.  Add another member to Rock-and-Roll Heaven on this date.  He died in Santa Monica, California.   Elsewhere, following the second highest officer of the U.S. Coast Guard testing positive for the Wuhan Flu, the Joint Chiefs of Staff enter 14 days of self-isolation.
  53. 2020 Tuesday D: Here are today’s Chi-Com Horseshoe Bat Flu Statistics for the globe: 35,511,291 confirmed cases, UP by 172,166 cases, 1,044,090 confirmed deaths, UP by 5,370 deaths, and 24,770,288 confirmed recoveries, UP by 198,979 recoveries.  Here are the numbers for the United States: 7,553,392 confirmed cases, UP by 8,727 new cases, 213,462 confirmed deaths, UP by 87 new deaths, and 4,905,362 confirmed recoveries, UP by 2,573 new recoveries.
  54. 2020 Tuesday E: Next, in the three states in which, the world-famous American Institute of Culinary Politics-The Elemental News of the Day employs chef-authors, California, Hawaii, and Washington, here are the stats, Golden State first: 838,956 confirmed cases, 16,205 confirmed deaths, but as is the norm, NO mention of confirmed recoveries.  Next, here are the stats for the Aloha State: 13,007 confirmed cases, 157 confirmed deaths, and 10,470 confirmed recoveries.  Finally, in the Ever-Red, uh, we mean, the Evergreen State, here are the stats: 94,275 confirmed cases, 2,254 confirmed deaths, but like California, the incline-headed governor, Jay Inslee, won’t share the number of confirmed recoveries.  Shame on these flipping Democrats.  Let’s take a look at one more state, Montana: 15,633 confirmed number of cases, 192 confirmed number of deaths, and 10,172 confirmed number of recoveries.  Let us look at Israel’s numbers now that Mo and his wife are relocating there.  Here they are: 272,309 confirmed cases, 1,757 confirmed deaths, and 204,355 confirmed recoveries.  Watch out for car bombs or Hamas thugs coming up out of the sewers and kidnapping you or your lovely wife.
  55. 2020 Tuesday F: Here are today’s Stock Market closes: DOW Jones Industrial Average: 27,772.76, DOWN 375.88 points (-1.34%).  Next, the NASDAQ: 11,154.60, DOWN 177.88 points (-1.57%).  Finally, here are the stats for the S&P 500: 3,360.95, DOWN 47.68 points (-1.40%).  The price of GOLD is $1,883.10 per troy oz., -25.70 (-1.35%) while the price of SILVER is $23.26 per troy ounce, -0.656 (-2.74%).  The price of PLATINUM is $860.00 per troy oz, -10.30 (-1.18%) while the price of COPPER is $2.93 per pound, -0.033 (-1.11%).  The price of PALLADIUM is $2,350.00 per troy oz., -9.10 (-0.40%).  The price of Light Sweet Crude Oil is $39.86 per barrel, -0.81 (-1.99%).  Today, COCOA is $2,449.00 per metric ton, +21.00 (+0.86).  As for currency, one U.S. dollar = 6.79 communist Chinese yuan.  By contrast, one U.S. dollar = 0.85 euros.  Communist China manipulates its currency, a known fact which is why the world must disengage with them and bring our supply chain home- ASAP.
  56. 2020 Tuesday G: Tomorrow night is the debate between Vice President Michael Pence and Senator Kamala Harris.  Should be better than last week’s slugfest but then…one never knows…meanwhile, Democrat charges of the day against President Donald J. Trump: ‘he’s like Mussolini, he’s a super-spreader of the Chi-Vi even though news media hacks have been captured off-camera stripping the masks off their faces.
  57. 2020 Tuesday H: Today, Greg Kelly on Newsmax reports the Trump-Russia Collusion HOAX was a creation of the Hillary Rodham Clinton campaign.  Today, DNI John Ratcliffe declassifies notes compiled by then-CIA Director John Brennan from a meeting at the Obama White House in 2016 in which, President Obama, then-National Security Adviser Susan Rice, Dennis McDonough, the chief of staff, and others, in which, Brennan was informing President Obama about a plan hatched by one of Hillary Clinton’s foreign policy advisors on July 28, 2016, in which, Democrats would claim interference by Russian security services on behalf of then- candidate Donald J. Trump with which to dirty him and to push Hillary across the finish line in November 2016.
  58. 2020 Tuesday I: Not sure what else the Chi-Coms and their Democratic Party gofers are up to stick around today so and find out.  Update: White House adviser Stephen Miller becomes the 11th person to test positive for the Chi-Vi.  Meanwhile, Puerto Rico Governor Wanda Vázquez Garced urged her citizens to vote for President Donald J. Trump, that the 45th president is their best friend.  Elsewhere, Hurricane Delta picks up steam and becomes a Cat 4 storm what with 130 mph winds.  It is expected to sweep across the Yucatan and then descend on the U.S. gulf coast, possibly New Orleans- yet again.
  59. 2020 Tuesday J:  We reported earlier in the day the death of Eddie Van Halen.  Singer Johnny Nash died at age 80.  Known for hits like “I Can See Clearly Now” and “Rock Me Baby,” and “(What A) Wonderful World,” he died in his hometown of Houston, Texas.  He continued releasing albums up until 1986 and compilations long after that.  Add another one to Rock-and-Roll Heaven.
  60. 2021 Wednesday: The National League Wild Card playoff is tonight in Los Angeles, California, as the visiting St. Louis Cardinals (90-72) take on the L.A. Dodgers (106-56).  Last night, the New York Yankees (92-70) went to Boston and took on the Red Sox (92-70) and lost by a final score of 6-2.

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

The third album by Fairport Convention came out on July 03, 1969- “Unhalfbricking”- and demonstrated that the band was growing more confident with each release.  Although the band performs several Bob Dylan tunes, members such as Sandy Denny and Richard Thompson are now writing some glorious tunes.  The band features Sandy Denny (vocals, guitars, keyboards), Richard Thompson (guitars, vocals, and other stringed instruments), Simon Nichol (guitars, vocals), Ashley Hutchings (basses, jug), and Martin Lamble (drums, percussion, and violin).  This album marked a transition for the young band as prior to its release, drummer Martin Lamble and Richard Thompson’s girlfriend lost their lives in a tragic traffic accident.  It was one of those harsh events that alters a band’s trajectory.  We hope you will seek this album out, give it a good listen, and make it a part of your daily listening pleasure.  Compared to modern-day music, Fairport Convention beats all of it hands down every single time.
