215. TODAY IN HISTORY—WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 03, 2022

2022 Wednesday: Many pundits are speculating as to the REAL REASON for U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s visit to Taiwan. Sure, American politicians should be able to travel wherever and whenever they wish without being fearful of communist thugs like communist China or fascist hoodlums like Russia. Some such as Tucker Carlson, Eric Bolling, Chris Salcedo, and others speculate as to whether “Mumbles” Pelosi’s ill-timed visit is a false flag so the Chi-Coms can snatch up the islands to the west of Taiwan with which to then launch an invasion of Taiwan?

  78. 2021 Tuesday P: Political News III– President Donald J. Trump’s attorney says that the Department of Justice ordering the Internal Revenue Service to hand over his client’s tax returns to the cretins in the U.S. Congress is occurring sans any evidence of wrongdoing.   Next, that crackpot scarecrow loser in the U.S. Senate- Elizabeth Warren, DS-MA,- says that ‘GOP voting laws are somehow connected to abortion.’  Say the flip what?  This woman is an angry loser.  Elsewhere, Governor J.B. Pritzker, DS-IL, says he is going to ‘enforce background checks on private gun sales.’  You should have been doing that already.  Moving on, the U.S. Senate voted to award ‘gold medals’ to the Capitol Hill cops who were at the Capitol on January 06, 2021.  What a load of crap.
  79. 2021 Tuesday Q: Political News IV– Grant Stinchfield of Newsmax lambasted the 18 Republicans who eagerly signed onto the $1.3 trillion ‘infrastructure bill.’  Again, here they are: Roy Blunt, R-MO; Richard Burr, R-NC; Shelley Moore Capito, R-WV; Bill Cassidy, R-LA; Mike Crapo; R-ID, James Risch, R-ID; Thom Tillis; R-NC; Todd Young, R-IN; Mike Rounds, R-SD; John Hoeven, R-ND, Kevin Cramer, R-ND; Lisa Murkowski, R-AK; Rob Portman, R-OH; Mitt Romney, R-UT; Susan Collins, R-ME; Chuck Grassley, R-IA; Lindsey Graham, R-SC; and “Cocaine Mitch” McConnell, R-KY.  Here is some more of the crap contained within the ‘infrastructure bill’- $16.3 billion for ‘renewable energy’ program; $250 million for invasive plant elimination (how about for invasive human beings’ elimination, i.e., ILLEGAL ALIENS?), and $10 million per year for Motor Vehicle per-mile user fee program.  So now, the American people will be taxed per mile by local, state, and federal government?  There will be a new industry just as there is now with the manufacturing of vaccination ID cards, one in which, odometers will be reset and reset.
  80. 2021 Tuesday R: Political News V– Tucker Carlson reported tonight from Budapest, Hungary, that the New York Times- the so-called ‘paper of record’- received millions of dollars from communist China to shill for the thugs in Beijing.  Islands that belong to Japan, they claimed belonged to the Chi-Coms as well as did everything to trash anyone who said that the Xi Jinping Bat Flu came from the Wuhan Institute of Virology was ‘xenophobic,’ a ‘racist,’ and/or a ‘bigot.’  Mr. Carlson said that the New York Times was not the only ‘news outlet’ to take Chi-Com yuan and then lie their asses off about anything their Beijing masters ordered them to do.  Wow.  Hence, ‘Chi-Coms good, Wuhan lab ‘innocent,’ and Donald J. Trump a ‘big, fat, evil racist.’  What a load of crap.
  81. 2021 Tuesday S: U.S. Senate News I– The U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee finally is seeking to repeal the 2002 use of military force in Iraq powers they gave to President George W. Bush.  Interested observers ask what took you so long to do this?  You should never have bestowed those powers on President Bush.  The AICPENDBLOG.COM believes, however, that the Deep State forced Bush’s hand into invading Iraq so everyone could rake in lots of bucks while then using the exact same war powers act to trash Bush #43.
  82. 2021 Tuesday T: Business News– In various parts of the United States, McDonalds Restaurants will require both employees and customers to mask up or to go across the street to Burger King.   Restaurants in New York City are going to require that ALL customers- with the blessings of outgoing NYC Mayor Bill “Bag O’ Fries” Di Blasio- to show proof of vaccination, i.e., show their papers, otherwise, they cannot enter, sit down, and eat.  It would appear that the government is going to have private businesses do their dirty work just as they require employers to deduct payroll taxes from their workers’ salaries and then hand them over to government apparatchiks.  Well, there will always be restaurants that welcome all diners so it is important that we share names and locations in the same ways that hoboes of old shared whose house would provide one a meal and which house would not.
  83. 2021 Tuesday U: Special Election News– Tonight in the GOP primary race in Ohio’s 15th CD in a race to fill the vacant seat of former Rep. Steve Stivers, Donald J. Trump-backed candidate Mike Carey won big time.  Meanwhile, on the Democratic side of the aisle, state Rep. Allison Russo was projected to win the Democratic nomination.  The general election will be this November.  And they say Trump-backed candidates can’t win.  You win some, you lose some and Barack Hussein Obama has lost almost every endorsement he ever made- “Loser” with a capital “L.”
  84. 2021 Tuesday V: Crime and Punishment News-Law Enforcement News I– New York Attorney General Leticia James released the results of the probe into Governor Andrew “Killer” Cuomo aka the Love Gov aka the Gropin’ Gov and none of it looked good.  She would not commit to prosecuting the immoral chief executive and left it for others to do.  New York state Lt. Governor Kathy Hochul, Democrat, said today “NO one is above the law.”  Later in the day, Joe Biden called for the Empire State governor to ‘step down’ for his reprobate activities as did House Speaker Nancy “Mumbles” Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader “Cryin’ Chuck” Schumer.   Rep. Elise Stefanik, R-NY 21st CD, called for the ‘immediate arrest’ of the immoral governor on grounds of criminal sexual harassment.  Good.  Lock him up.
  85. 2021 Tuesday W: Crime and Punishment News-Law Enforcement News II– However, Joe Biden is so out of it that he did not realize that as he was calling on his fellow Democratic-Socialist to step down, he opened the door for others to demand Mr. Biden step down due to his LONG HISTORY of groping, grabbing, smooching, rubbing, and saying all sorts of suggestive and disturbing things.  What is clear, too, is that AG James lacks the balls to pursue her boss, Governor “Killer” Cuomo.   Elsewhere, Missouri Governor Mike Parson has officially pardoned Mark and Patricia McCloskey for their ‘gun crimes convictions’ of last year.  Excellent.
  86. 2021 Tuesday X: Mass Shootings News– Two employees were wounded in a warehouse shooting in Tennessee.  Cops responding on scene shot the shooter.  Elsewhere, after some shots were fired outside the Pentagon, the entire facility went on lockdown.  It seems the bravest of the brave had to cower in fear inside the walls of America’s defense epicenter.   Apparently, a law enforcement officer may have lost his life in the incident.  Jihad?  White Supremacism?  Black Lives Matter?  Angry lover?  We don’t know.
  87. 2021 Tuesday Y: Big Tech News– Senator Rand Paul, R-KY, slams YouTube for its censorship of free speech and urges users to find alternative sites to share their views.
  88. 2021 Tuesday Z: California State News– Backers of Recall Governor Gavin Newsom are seeking to block language on the upcoming recall ballot that the effort to cleanse California of Governor Gavin “The Nazi” Newsom is a ‘power grab by the GOP.  Governor Newsom, people from across the political spectrum are banding together to get YOU out of office just as they did with Governor Gray Davis, another corrupt Democrat governor.
  89. 2021 Tuesday AA: California Lottery Results-Mega-Millions Draw– Here are the results for the Mega-Millions Draw #1682 what with a $179 million jackpot on the line: 01, 09, 17, 27, 34, and Mega 24.  Out of 73,454 winning tickets in California, the highest winner was ONE person who had FIVE numbers BUT NO MEGA for a prize of $1,091,799.  The winning ticket was sold at the Cortesia Market in Pacoima, CA 91331.
  90. 2022 Wednesday: Many pundits are speculating as to the REAL REASON for U.S. Anything is indeed possible in this world and some such as my family and me see signs of the End Times on the horizon.  One cannot make this stuff up.  No, all one need do is to read the Holy Bible.  Still, after all the suffering, the death, and the destruction, we will win.  That is the promise of GOD.  Chef Hector Santanamos “El Chilte” De Soto.

BEVERLY CARRICK ORIGINAL ARTWORK OF THE DAY:

This artwork is #0911 a 16” x 20” original oil painting by Beverly Carrick, which, she entitled, “Poppies and Smoke Trees.”  It is among her more beautiful works and is available for sale.  You can see much more of her work at her website, found at beverlycarrick.com.  At her website, you will see not only more original oil paintings but also lithographs, giclees, prints, miniatures, photographs, and even her award-winning instructional video entitled, “Painting the Southwest with Beverly Carrick.”  For more than 60 years- up until her untimely death from cancer in 2012- Bev stood before the easel and painted for 10-12 hours per day. Known around the world for both the beauty and timelessness of her artworks, her paintings are in demand as much today as they were 30 years ago.  Hanging in private and public galleries and followed by many fans encircling the globe—her works instill awe because of her artistic brilliance and personal beauty.  We urge you to go to her website NOW and view her stunning body of work, one the Chi-Coms have long tried to copy and sell facsimiles of but which none of them have ever been able to reproduce well enough to fool novice art buyers.  Once there, it is possible that you will find something you like and will want to buy it for yourself, a friend, a loved one, or a neighbor- virtually anyone.  You will not be disappointed so please: do yourself a favor and go there as quickly as your fingers can tap the letters on your keyboard.  The American Institute of Culinary Politics-Elemental News of the Day, aka the AICPENDBLOG.COM, thanks each and every one of you, our beloved, loyal fan base.  DON’T buy any counterfeit bull crap coming out of mainland communist China, especially from Xinjiang Province, ground zero for Chi-Com National Socialism.

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

The Beach Boys released their next live album, “Songs from Here and Back,” a special release album that came out on May 15, 2006, one that came out from Hallmark for two months back in the day.  This is rather a hodgepodge of tunes, most of the live ones from 1989- two from back in 1974- as well as three solo studio tunes, one from Brian Wilson, one from Mike Love, and one from Alan Jardine.  You get the lineup back in 1989- Brian Wilson, Carl Wilson, Mike Love, Bruce Johnston, and Alan Jardine- plus the longtime Beach Boys backup band, the one that provides the background on the road.  The two from 1974 feature Dennis Wilson and Ricky Fataar in the mix while the solo studio recordings feature a variety of accompanying musicians.  IF you can find this one, it’s a worthy addition to one’s collection and if you can’t, well, it is what it is.  Enjoy.

[vii] Many believe Barack Obama should be disqualified as a president because most believe he was born outside the United States which would ban him from ever seeking the highest office in the land.  At the very least, an asterisk should be placed by his name in all U.S. history books.

  72. 2021 Thursday: DAY NINE OF THE BIDEN REGIME- after Rush Limbaugh says that Joe Biden is the ‘third term of Barack Obama,’ the 46th president- after signing his umpteenth executive order- admits as much.  He says he is reinstituting the Obama agenda and that it is what it is.  Next, CPAC- Conservative Political Action Committee- and the ACU- American Conservative Union slam Politico for trying to strip them of their financial backers.  Meanwhile, Bill O’Reilly tells Newsmax that the Democratic Party’s goal is to break capitalism for good.   Elsewhere, RNC Chairperson Ronna McDaniel says that the GOP is going to remain NEUTRAL in 2024 GOP primary battles.  Of course, Dems say this is going to anger Donald Trump.  Sure.  Uh huh.  They MUST remain neutral; McDaniel cannot behave as Donna Brazile did in 2016 when she favored Hillary Rodham Clinton over Bernie Sanders and Martin O’Malley.
  73. 2021 Thursday A:  In COVID-19 news, the widow of Larry King says her husband did not succumb to the Xi Jinping Bat Flu.  Next, states are lifting their coronavirus restrictions gradually due to the new variant from South Africa showing up in North Carolina with two cases.   Meanwhile, Virginia U.S. Mark Warner, Democrat, is observing COVID-19 quarantine protocols after being exposed to the disease.  Elsewhere, New York state Attorney General Leticia James is blasting Governor Andrew “Killer” Cuomo over covering up the number of deaths that occurred in the Empire State’s nursing homes, places where he sent COVID-19-infected patients to recuperate.  She says the governor had approximately 50-percent of the deaths while all the while blaming the federal government and doing chest-thumping by authoring a book that made him out to be a hero.  Bon voyage, Governor “Killer” Cuomo.
  74. 2021 Thursday B: A recent poll says that a majority of Americans support first trimester abortion which begs the question as to WHY the Pro-Death movement demands abortions up to delivery and immediately after?  Answer: they profit off the sale of fetal body parts.  Evil.   Meanwhile, a McLaughlin poll says that Wyoming Congresswoman Liz Cheney, Republican, has just 13-percent support for her to seek another term and a 62-percent disapproval rate.  Due to her voting to impeach Donald Trump a second time, GOP support for the out-of-touch congresswoman and GOP House leader has hit rock bottom.  Speaking of which, Florida GOP Congressman Matt Gaetz is going to host a massive Trump rally in the Equality State which is going to further strip her of any hope of re-election.   Elsewhere, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy- who is visiting with Donald Trump in Florida today- has begged his caucus to stop with the infighting.  Kevin, you need to wake up and slap your left-leaning RINO goobers back into line.  Do what Mitch does, moisten your finger, and hold it up high enough to feel which way the wind is blowing.
  75. 2021 Thursday C: President Joe Biden’s promised illegal alien family reunification task force has hit some hurdles and is temporarily delayed.  Next, we are told the Biden administration is following Trump’s lead in staying tough on communist China’s global expansionism plans.  You and Barack could have stopped the militarization of the South China Sea back in your second term and yet, you failed to do this.  Why?   Moving on, Joe Biden signs yet another executive order ending all new fracking permits on public lands which is going to kill thousands more jobs.  Speaking of the elimination of American jobs, Climate Adviser Gina McCarthy says ‘we’re not asking the American people for sacrifices with job losses, it’s just we must save the planet from its crisis.  Thus, millions of jobs- high-paying jobs, no less- are being stripped away in order to keep the American people dependent upon government for their sustenance.
  76. 2021 Thursday D: Speaking of lost jobs, although down from jobless claims of 914,000 the week before, first-time jobless claims are still high at 847,000.  Economists are celebrating that it’s less than last week but folks, as Joe Biden continues rampaging through his executive orders, millions more will be seeking unemployment in the subsequent weeks.  Meanwhile, 4th quarter GDP shows an annual rate of around 4-percent.  We shall see.  Elsewhere, following the ‘little guys’ showing up the BIG GUYS on the stock market what with billions going to virtual day traders who bet big on AMC, GameStop, and Blackberry, TD Ameritrade, Schwab, and Robin Hood have banned any additional trades from the ‘little guys.’  Is that the “American Way?”  WTF?
  77. 2021 Thursday E: Russia reports that Alexei Navalny will remain in a Russian jail until his upcoming trial occurs.   Meanwhile, a Pakistani court orders the killer of journalist Daniel Pearl freed from prison.  Elsewhere, Reuters reports that Proud Boys leader Henry “Enrique” Tarrio has been a high-level FBI informant.  There goes his life.   Next, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton says ‘Joe Biden’s immigration policies are causing ‘real problems’ for the country.  Florida Republican Senator Rick Scott wants to know from President Biden exactly what those policies are, how they will be enforced, and any potential damage.
  78. 2021 Thursday F: It appears the FBI- now under the control of Joe Biden- is going after conservative citizen pundits and journalists.  Yesterday, Douglass Mackey of Florida was arrested by agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation for being little more than an alleged ‘Twitter troll.’  This is crazy.  What’s even crazier is that he was arrested for memes he made in 2016 so four years later- and with a change in the White House- the FBI has gone out and arrested him.  Why?  Meanwhile, in other craziness, the San Francisco school system is spending between $400,000-to-$1,000,000 to rename 44 public schools because of them being named for American presidents and historical figures all of whom have fallen into disfavor in the modern-day Cancel Culture.  Would the money not be better spent getting young people back to school rather than through stupid attempts at indoctrinating a vulnerable population?
  79. 2021 Thursday G: Here are today’s stats for the Wuhan Flu, planet first: 101,211,750 confirmed cases, +627,195, 2,183,269, confirmed deaths, +16,870, and 55,917,570 confirmed recoveries, +318,463.  Next, here are the stats for the United States, the intended target of the Chinese-engineered Wuhan Virus pandemic: 25,941,957 confirmed cases, up 172,233 from yesterday’s reporting, 435,432 confirmed deaths, UP 4,110, and 11,166,500 confirmed recoveries, UP- UNKNOWN- same number as yesterday’s.  NOTE- in the White House NINE DAYS, apparently the U.S. will NO longer report the number of recoveries.  Shame on you, Chi-Com Joe.
  80. 2021 Thursday H: Next, in the three states in which, the world-famous American Institute of Culinary Politics-the Elemental News of the Day employs chef-bloggers- California, Hawaii, and Washington- here are the stats, California first: 3,252,716 confirmed cases, 38,961 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Next here are the numbers for Hawaii: 25,903 confirmed cases, 404 confirmed deaths (not updated in a week), and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Finally, here are the stats for leftist-Marxist-socialist hellhole of Washington: 309,604 confirmed cases, 4,294 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Let us look at one other piece of U.S. real estate- Guam: currently, they have 8,537 confirmed cases, 130 confirmed deaths, and 6,707 confirmed recoveries.  Now that Mo has relocated to Israel, let’s look at the statistics there: 621,590 confirmed cases, 4,605 confirmed deaths, and 545,342 confirmed recoveries.
  81. 2021 Thursday I:  Here are today’s Stock Market closes: DOW Jones Industrial Average: 30,603.36, UP 300.19 points (+0.99%).  Next, the NASDAQ: 13,337.16, UP 66.56 points (+0.50%).  Finally, here are the stats for the S&P 500: 3,787.38, UP 36.61 points (+0.98%).  The price of GOLD is $1,841.80 per troy oz., +3.90 (+0.21%) while the price of SILVER is $26.60 per troy ounce, +0.678 (+2.62%).  The price of PLATINUM is $1,080.20 per troy oz, +7.80 (+0.73%) while the price of COPPER is $3.57 per pound, -0.0035 (-0.10%).  The price of PALLADIUM is $2,310.50 per troy oz, -14.50 (-0.62%).  The price of Light Sweet Crude Oil is $52.09 per barrel, -0.25 (-0.48%).  Currently, one-dollar U.S. = 6.45 Chi-Com yuan.   Meanwhile, one-dollar U.S. = 0.82 euros and in Mexican pesos equals 20.21.  Next, $1.00 U.S. = 0.000030 Bitcoin (BTC).
  82. 2021 Thursday J: The Department of Homeland Security continues warning of DOMESTIC TERRORISM which tells us they know something is coming around February 08 because they or their superiors in the Biden administration already have their agent provocateurs ready to go in new FALSE FLAG operations with which to crackdown on the American people even more.   The American people MUST BE VIGILANT for what the administration is going to loose on us.  Meanwhile, President Biden signs another executive order giving the Chi-Coms greater access to the U.S. electric grid.  NOT GOOD.  Next, as the COVID-19 Relief/Stimulus bill continues hitting roadblocks, President Biden is calling Republican senators to get them on his side.  WHY?  He’s adding $4 trillion in additional debt to what we already have.  Where’s the money originating?  Communist China?  You better believe it.  Elsewhere, the Pentagon is evaluating FEMA’s request for military aid in increasing the rollout of Chi-Vi vaccines.
  83. 2021 Thursday K: A few days after announcing her bid for the governorship of Arkansas, Sarah Huckabee Sanders has raised $1 million.   That’s what happens when Donald Trump endorses you.  Next, after meeting with Mr. Trump in Florida, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy says the former president is onboard with retaking the House in 2022.  Speaking of Mr. Trump, a recent McLaughlin poll says that ‘canceling Trump’ is backfiring on those trying to enact it.  Elsewhere, House Speaker Nancy “Mumbles” Pelosi and her chosen girl, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez are fearful of their fellow House members.  Mumbles is seeking security funds so Democrats will feel ‘protected.’  What a bunch of losers.  False flag after false flag after false flag.   Meanwhile, in Wyoming at a huge pro-Trump rally, Florida Congresswoman Matt Gaetz rips into fellow Republican Congresswoman Liz Cheney.
  84. 2021 Thursday L: UN Secretary General Guterres calls for a “U.S.-People’s Republic of China reset.”   Meanwhile, as President Joe Biden continues scribbling executive orders, one of the ones today overturns the Mexico City Policy forbidding U.S. taxpayer dollars funding FOREIGN BABY CHOP SHOPS.  And this man claims to be a Catholic!  There was a time when popes excommunicated kings, where the hell is Pope Francis?   Next, the White House and Dems nix the GOP idea to break down the COVID-19 Relief/Stimulus Bill.  Sad.   Elsewhere, Senator Martha Blackburn, R-TN, accuses Joe Biden’s EPA nominee Michael Regan of having committed crimes.   Finally, Rush Limbaugh says the ‘GameStop issue is proof of everything being rigged for the elites in America.’
  85. 2021 Thursday M: Senator Dick Durbin, D-IL, throws ‘icy water’ on fellow Democratic Senator Tim Kaine’s idea of seeking censure for former President Donald J. Trump rather than moving ahead with a bogus second impeachment.   Elsewhere, a federal judge refuses bail for a so-called ‘QAnon shaman,’ aka ‘the horned guy’ (Jake Angeli) who sat in Speaker Nancy “Mumbles” Pelosi’s seat in the U.S. House of Representatives on January 6, 2021, during the Antifa-led Capitol Hill Riots.  Meanwhile, tomorrow is the March for Live- Virtual- in troop-infested Washington, D.C.  Speaking of the U.S. Military (whom we love), the Pentagon says the Taliban is not living up to their promises in the Afghan peace process which means the U.S. will be in that war torn country for at least another four years.  Incredibly sad.  Finally, BIG OIL is seeking an alliance with Biofuels bigwigs as a means of preventing the Biden administration crushing them for good.
  86. 2021 Thursday N: As chef-author Bea O’Malley wrote in three posts between January 15-to-January 17, 2021, a couple of weeks ago, with the feeble Joe Biden administration in office, the Chi-Coms are upping the number of incursions into Taiwanese airspace because Beijing knows ‘Chi-Com Joe’ won’t come to the aid of Taipei.  The Biden administration claims they will defend Japan’s outer islands, but we suspect that is a load of hooey, too.  Everyone in Asia- you are on your own.  Yes, times have changed without Trump in office.  Likewise, we expect Russia and Iran to start causing trouble in their neck of the woods soon.
  87. 2022 Friday: Stay tuned…

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

The next album delivered by Fairport Convention was a ‘blast from the past,’ culled by an archivist: “Cropredy ‘08” (March 22, 2009), an album of live music from the band’s Cropredy 2008 show.  The lineup features the ongoing quintet of Ric Sanders (violins), Dave Pegg (acoustic and electric basses, and tenor mandola), Simon Nichol (guitars and vocals), Gerry Conway (drums), and Chris Leslie (mandolins, fiddles, cellos, and flutes).  It is amazing- and extremely enjoyable- to envision each of these performances with your mind and ears.  We love it, we know you will love it, too, and you can find it at almost every site specializing in classic rock/folk rock music such as Amazon, Discogs, AllMusic, eBay, you name it, it’s available.  We hope you do check it out as we believe you will love this band as much as we do.  Enjoy.

  73. 2021 Wednesday L: JOE BIDEN NEWS I- Joe Biden is set to meet with Pope Francis on Friday.  IF the pontiff truly follows the dictates of his job, he should excommunicate NOT only slobbering Joe Biden but many of the Democrats holding elective office who profess to be ‘practicing Catholics.’  He should do this because of their support for unfettered access to abortion, even once the baby lies squalling on the delivery table.  IF the pontiff truly followed his vows, he would do this.  We believe he won’t because he fears the Catholic Church in the United States could lose its tax-exempt status.  What will you do, Pope Francis, what will YOU do?  Remember, Jesus is watching YOU.
  74. 2021 Wednesday M: JOE BIDEN REGIME NEWS I- U.S. Attorney General Merrick “The Mole” Garland testified before the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee today and what a hearing it was.  The man bobbed, weaved, played rope-a-dope, stuttered, stumbled, mumbled, and did everything he could to stymie the questions from the GOP.  Like Barack Hussein Obama before him, everything Republicans asked him, he knew nothing about it until he saw it on the nightly news.  He would not answer questions as to when he knew this, that, or the other.  One of the GOP senators told him he was glad he was not on the U.S. Supreme Court.  Boy, do we concur with that.  Senator Tom Cotton, R-AR, asked “The Mole” Garland IF he has opened an investigation into the people who harassed Senator Kyrsten Sinema, D-AZ, you know, the ones who followed her into the ladies room berating her for not supporting the multi-trillion-dollar spending bills being pushed by Joe Biden.  No answer that we heard.
  75. 2021 Wednesday N: JOE BIDEN REGIME NEWS II- At the very same U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee hearing, Senator “Crazy Mazie” Hirono, DS-HI, said that ‘we have all seen instances in which school board officials have been threatened with violence, intimidation, and social media abuse.’  Uh, okay, senator.  Do YOU have kids?  Anyhow, she wants to charge parents with hate crimes and other felonious laws designed either to force them to go silent or with which to prosecute and then imprison them.  George Orwell, anyone?  Still, committee Chairman Senator “Drippin’ Dick” Durbin, DS-IL, tried to keep things under control but the AG did his best to evade answering GOP questions that hammered him from all sides.  In the end, it would appear we learned nothing new.
  76. 2021 Wednesday O: POLITICAL NEWS I- Polls from Virginia continue saying that the gubernatorial race in the state between patriotic Republican businessman Glenn Youngkin and political hack, Terry “The Maggot” McAuliffe are neck-and-neck.  Still, many believe that ‘the Maggot’ has the election in hand since none of the flaws in last year’s general election have been addressed.  The Dems will do everything they can to steal this election for political operative and Clinton bagman.  We shall see.

  79. 2021 Wednesday R: POPULAR CULTURE NEWS- Fans of the Rolling Stones are demanding the now wimpy band to restore the classic tune, “Brown Sugar,” to the setlist.  NO one can fathom that a band that was ‘so in the face of the establishment’ now is bowing down to the Cancel Culture.  Stones, it’s time to rediscover your balls and continue on as you were, still are, and always will be.  Otherwise- it’s what Paul McCartney said- you’re just a blues cover band and to us a bunch of pussies.
  80. 2021 Wednesday S: SPORTS NEWS I- The NHL has fined the Chicago Blackhawks $2 million for not following through on sexual assault allegations against one of their assistant coaches back in 2010.  It has taken them 11 years to fine them for not doing an investigation.  Wow.  Next, here are the results for Game 2 of the World Series between the visiting Atlanta Braves (96-75) and the home team Houston Astros (100-71).  The Astros rebounded with a 7-2 victory at home.

  82. 2021 Wednesday U: Friends, last year, this is what we feared: the closer we come to the election, the more the Chi-Coms and their Democratic Party hacks try to steal the elections by sowing as much confusion as possible into the system.  We hate to say this, after the elections, there is going to be hell to pay- for them.

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

The second ‘best of’ compilation by Fairport Convention hit record store shelves on July 12, 1976, “Fairport Chronicles.”  The band compiled their best cuts on two LPS chock full of the crème de la crème of the iconic British folk-rock band.  Friends, if you have yet to introduce the music of this veteran outfit that seems to be able to survive the snakes and ladders of the music business, this is a grand way in which to do it.  Please, seek this one out, give it a good listen, and add it to your growing collection- you will be glad you did.

[i] At some point, we will do the music of the Mamas and the Papas the same time we do the music of Sonny & Cher.  We hope you will continue awaiting that glorious day.

  56. 2020 Monday:  President Donald J. Trump signed an executive order today in which, he forbids American companies (Google comes to mind as does Microsoft and numerous other big tech firms) from hiring foreign scab workers to displace higher-paid American workers.  Far too often in today’s America, American firms force American workers to train foreign workers to do their jobs and then send them packing.  This is not right and what the president did today is amazing.  NO more displacing Americans with foreign scabs.  Enough is enough.  Meanwhile, the stats are in for shootings in Chicago over the weekend: at least 33 people shot, 9 slain- including a 9-year-old boy and when compared to last July in Chicago, murders in the Windy City in July are up 139-percent.  Elsewhere, in New York City, at this point in time, there have been more shootings than ALL of last year’s combined.  What the hell is up with these BIG BLUE CITIES?  Where the hell are Black Lives Matter, you know, the Marxist, racist organization?  We thought black lives ‘matter?’  Apparently not.
  57. 2020 Monday A: President Donald J. 59. 2020 Monday C: Here are today’s Stock Market closes: DOW Jones Industrial Average: 26,664.40, UP 236.08 points (0.89%).  Next, the NASDAQ: 10,902.80, UP 157.52 points (1.47%).  Finally, here are the stats for the S&P 500: 3,294.61, UP 23.49 points (0.72%).  Currently, GOLD is at $1,989.50 per troy oz., UP 3.20 (+0.16%), SILVER is at $24.38 per troy oz., UP -0.032 (-0.13%), PLATINUM $936.00 per troy oz. UP +4.90 (+0.53%), and COPPER is at $2.92 # +0.004 (+0.14%).  Light Sweet Crude Oil is 40.71, UP -0.30 (-0.73%).  Today, one-dollar U.S. = 6.98 Chi-Com yuan. In contrast, one-dollar U.S. = 0.85 euros.
  60. 2021 Tuesday: What have the Chi-Coms done today?  What has their stooge, drooling Joe Biden done?  Stick around and find out along with the rest of us…

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

The album we have for you today is actually the first SOLO effort that original Jethro Tull guitarist Mick Abrahams released following the two albums he made with his first solo group, Blodwyn Pig.  “Times Have Changed” came out in 1971 but we have it here as a re-release issued on September 08, 2008.  Abrahams is an unsung guitarist which is a true shame because he deserves to be in the same pantheon of Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page, Kim Simmonds, Alvin Lee, and a few select others as his ability to interpret the blues ranks among the all-time great top 10 axmen.  We hope you will seek this album out by visiting whatever site it is you do for the best in rock music as you will most definitely enjoy it.   Seek it out ASAP and give your ears the gift of blues music.
