ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

The next studio album by Jethro Tull- “Too Old to Rock-and-Roll: Too Young to Die,” came out on April 23, 1976.  Once again, the band was floundering about as it sought to find its direction and this album was about an aging rock star faced with living the remaining of his life out of the limelight.  Ah, well, Ian Anderson always has lofty ideas but sometimes they come across in a cloudy way.  Still, this is a fine album and features a somewhat altered lineup of Ian Anderson (vocals, flutes, guitars, keyboards), Martin Barre (guitars), John Glascock (bass), John Evan (keyboards), and Barriemore Barlow (drums).  We encourage everyone to visit a local music store and give it a good listen.  In the old days, we could go to record stores and could listen to an entire album in a listening booth to see if we wanted to buy it or we didn’t.  We believe that that is something that should be brought back for all fans as it would make it easier to know if something was right for our musical tastes or it was not.  Check it out.

ENDNOTES:

[i] Not sure when we will get around to doing the music of Three Dog Night but if we ever return to promoting the music of famed rock bands from the 1960s and the 1970s, we sure as heck will include this stellar band, one that is still performing to this day.  We saw them in 2019 and all we can say is “Wow.”

[ii] When we promoted the music of the Steve Miller Band, we screwed up by not promoting the music of Boz Scaggs at the same time.  We look forward to doing it soon.

[iii] We began promoting the music of the Steve Miller Band beginning on Wednesday, 27-July-2011 through Wednesday, 24-August-2011 and then did a second stint on Sunday, 20-April-2014.  We hope you will check the music of this amazing San Francisco, California, acid-rock blues band.

[iv] We presented the music of this British prog-rock band, the amazing King Crimson, beginning on Monday, 20-October-2014 through Sunday, 21-December-2014.  We hope you will check them out and add them to your collection.

[v] We shared the music of the Stones beginning Tuesday, 22-March-2016 through Sunday, 28-August-2016.  This included the members’ solo projects.  We sure as heck hope you check out the Rolling Stones, Mick Jagger, Brian Jones, Keith Richard, Charlie Watts, Bill Wyman, and Mick Taylor.  Ronnie Wood you can find during the presentation of the Faces.

[vi] We celebrated the music of the amazing Little Feat beginning on Tuesday, 11-June-2013 through Monday, 15-July-2013.  One of the great unsung bands of all time, we hope you will seek them out and consider adding them to your music collection.

[vii] When we present the music of the Allman Brothers Band, we will present the music of Gov’t Mule.  Stay tuned for further developments.

[viii] James Comey is a worthless POS and one of the main coup plotters against President Donald J. Trump.  We hope he will soon be breaking rocks at Leavenworth Federal Penitentiary for his role in the attempted coup.

[ix] We first began offering the music of Fleetwood Mac on Monday, 03-January-2011 through Thursday, 27-January-2011.  Please seek their music out by checking posts on those corresponding dates.  Seeing as how Fleetwood Mac was among the earliest bands we ever promoted, we will have to pick them back up and present not only the music of the band that has come out since then but also the individual member’s solo projects.

  54. 2014 Monday:  In the United States, the markets begin to show confidence in the nation’s economy as the stock markets rise and the yield gap increases between two-year and 30-year Treasuries.  Meanwhile, scientists expressed concern during a NASA news conference over a pair of studies which said the huge West Antarctic ice sheet was starting a glacially slow collapse in an unstoppable way, a melt that could eventually add 4-to-12 feet to current sea levels.
  55. 2015 Tuesday: According to Brainy History, a second major earthquake, magnitude 7.3, hits Nepal less than three weeks after a magnitude 7.8-earthquake shook the nation and caused thousands of deaths and injuries; at least 48 people have perished in this second event.  Meanwhile, in his first visit to Russia since the Ukraine crisis broke out, U.S. Secretary of State John F. 59. 2019 Sunday: The government of Cuba continues to lie: due to the U.S. ‘embargo’ (remember: every other nation in the world trades with this POS communist hellhole) and hoarding by its people, the government must ration more products including vital foodstuffs such as rice and beans.
  60. 2020 Tuesday: Due to the Chinese COVID-19 Virus, Democrat governors around the country continue to extend and prolong their stay-at-home orders even though increasing numbers of Americans are beginning to fight back.  House Speaker Nancy Pelosi proposes an illegal alien, Pro-Death-friendly $3 trillion Wuhan Virus relief bill which everyone with sense says is “CRAZY!”  Here are the Kung Flu COVID-19 statistics for the day (around the planet): 4,233,504 confirmed cases, 289,932 confirmed deaths, and 1,481,314 confirmed recoveries.  In the United States, we have 1,399,305 confirmed cases, 83,019 confirmed deaths, and 234,607 confirmed recoveries.  In the three states where the AICPENDBLOG.COM has chef-authors, we start with California: 69,715 confirmed cases, 2,802 confirmed deaths, and once again, NO mention of confirmed recoveries.  Next, we have Hawaii: 635 confirmed cases, 17 confirmed deaths, and 563 confirmed recoveries.  Finally, we have Washington state: 17,330 confirmed cases, 962 confirmed deaths, and like California, NO reports of confirmed recoveries.   Democrat governors, we understand you are messing with the statistics so you can continue the lockdown.  You reap what you sow.  IF you are curious about the numbers in the origin nation of the Chinese Virus, they remain the same as they did two weeks ago.

  55. 2019 Thursday: The Trump administration recognizes Venezuelan opposition leader Juan Guaidó as the legitimate president of that troubled South American country.  This of course drives the Venezuelans amok as they fight to quell ongoing civil disturbances over their attempted-fixed presidential elections.  Canada, European and other Western nations recognize the opposition leader as the rightful winner whereas the totalitarian states around the globe don’t.  Elsewhere, competing funding bills in the U.S. Senate fail as everyone expected they would.  Meanwhile, House Democrats dangle the fraudulent fishhook of $5.7 billion for a VIRTUAL border wall meaning drones will hover ahigh watching millions of illegals as they swarm across the border.

  57. 2021 Sunday: Here are the COVID-19 statistics for the planet as a whole: 99,006,885 confirmed cases, +718,738, 2,125,373, confirmed deaths, +15,615, and 54,608,134 confirmed recoveries, +352,720.  Next, here are the stats for the United States, the intended target of the Chinese-engineered Wuhan Virus pandemic: 25,227,940 confirmed cases, up 118,668 from yesterday’s reporting, 421,330 confirmed deaths, UP 2,272, and 10,987,457 confirmed recoveries, UP 13,290.  IF that leaning tower of drool, ‘President’ Joe Biden is going to save the country, he needs to save it NOW, ASAP, by getting the Trump vaccine to the people and ordering an immediate reopening of ALL businesses.
  58. 2021 Sunday A: Next, in the three states in which, the world-famous American Institute of Culinary Politics-the Elemental News of the Day employs chef-bloggers- California, Hawaii, and Washington- here are the stats, California first: 3,163,830 confirmed cases, 36,816 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Next here are the numbers for Hawaii: 25,470 confirmed cases (Hawaii has not updated their case numbers in more than a week), 336 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Finally, here are the stats for Washington: 304,107 confirmed cases, 4,182 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Let us look at one other state: Wyoming: currently, they have 50,898 confirmed cases, 571 confirmed deaths, and 48,571 confirmed recoveries.  Now that Mo has relocated to Israel, let’s look at the statistics there: 593,961 confirmed cases, 4,341 confirmed deaths, and 512,702 confirmed recoveries.  Meanwhile, Texas rolls out 100,000 Chi-Vi vaccine doses in a single day making BLUE states look like the losers they are.  Speaking of Blue States, Governor Gavin Newsom of California is being ripped apart for buying PPE from the Chi-Coms directly instead of American manufacturers.  Once again, is another direct tie between Democrats and their Chi-Com masters in Beijing.
  59. 2021 Sunday B: We learn today that Instagram is FORCING ALL USERS to ‘sign up’ for the White House account to make it look like ‘President’ Joe Biden- the usurper in chief- has a massive following when in fact, he has NO one.  Hence why many chef-authors and support staff at the American Institute of Culinary Politics-the Elemental News of the Day have shuttered their Instagram accounts among other pro-Chi-Com social media sites.  F**k them.  Speaking of scurrilous social media scumbags, Facebook closes Young Patriots accounts.  We already dumped Facebook and it’s amazing how much they cried when they did.  We guess they enjoy exercising the power and determining whether one is ‘permitted’ on their site or is not.  F**k them, too.
  60. 2021 Sunday C: Today we have both NFL Championship games- first, the NFC Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 30 (13-5) @ Green Bay Packers, 32 (14-3) and then the AFC Championship- Buffalo Bills, 17 (15-3) @ Kansas City Chiefs, 22 (15-2).  Out of 25 chef-authors here at the world-famous American Institute of Culinary Politics-the Elemental News of the Day, aka AICPENDBLOG.COM, 17 say it’s going to be a ‘State Farm Super Bowl’ between Green Bay and Aaron Rodgers and Kansas City and Patrick Mahomes while the others don’t.  We shall see.   Results for the first game: Tampa Bay Buccaneers 31, Green Bay Packers, 26. NO STATE FARM SUPER BOWL this time around.  Eight of our colleagues are at 50-percent in their picks.  We shall see, again. Here are the results for the second matchup and we must say, it was a brutal game.  Some of the Buffalo Bills’ offensive line behaved like Capitol Hill police officers did on January 06, stepping aside and almost waving the Chiefs in to sack or to commit some questionable hits on Josh Allen, QB of the Bills. Final score: Chiefs, 38, Bills 24.  Next week, the Pro-Bowl then on February 07, 2021- Kansas City Chiefs @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers for Super Bowl LV.
  61. 2021 Sunday D: The Michigan GOP censures Rep. Fred Upton, one of theirs who voted for impeachment in the U.S. House of Representatives.  Payback is coming to all these losers.  Likewise, Arizona Governor Doug Ducey says he’s dropping a planned U.S. Senate run in 2022 because the Arizona GOP has censured him for handing the 2020 Presidential Election over to the Democrats and their standard-bearer, ‘Pro-China Joe’ Biden. Next, Arizona GOP leader Dr. Kelli Ward wins re-election as the chair of the GOP in that state for another two years.  Speaking of the U.S. Senate and of ‘Pro-China Joe,’ Arkansas Republican Senator Tom Cotton says, ‘the Chi-Coms are blackmailing the ‘46th president’ with sanctions.   Elsewhere, the FBI rescues 33 kidnapped children from human traffickers and predators in the L.A. area.  God bless you!
  62. 2021 Sunday E: Chef Lilah in Hawaii says the Hawaii GOP is receiving loads of criticism over the party saying that “Q supporters” in Washington, D.C., are patriots, believing in what they believe.  She says, ‘that in every so-called conspiracy theory, an element of truth exists as otherwise it would not gain strength.’  She also says, ‘that Democrats are desperate to deflect blame from their leadership in the House telling Capitol Hill police officers to step aside and allow the Antifa-interlaced protesters easy entry into the Capitol Building on January 6.’  Look, Nancy Pelosi is out there accusing President Donald J. Trump of homicide for the people who lost their lives in the left-wing mob riots when she is the one who should shut up and lawyer up.  When the truth hits, no one will acquit Speaker Pelosi.  Finally, Chef Lilah says, ‘as for QAnon, why wouldn’t people believe this when they live in a country where millions of their fellow citizens- particularly minorities- have been aborted, a country in which fetal body parts are harvested and sold, a country in which, perversion, sexual deviancy, engineered racism, and the elimination of history, both good and bad, is at risk of being destroyed?’  No, she concludes by saying, ‘QAnon is not difficult to believe; no, it’s difficult to disbelieve when one closely examines what the left is doing to our country and why, the damage being caused, none of which is moral or Christian.’  God bless you, Chef Lilly!

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

The Germans released a compilation album of UFO tunes, the delightful “C’mon Everybody” that hit record store shelves on February 06, 1981.  This album features music from the first two UFO albums, “UFO 1” and “UFO 2- Flying.”  If you have yet to introduce the music of this space-rocking British band, this is an excellent way in which, you can go about rectifying the error of your ways- you will be glad you did.  Very few bands have the lasting impact these guys have not to mention they made into the first two decades of the 21st century.  We definitely hope you will seek it out and consider adding it to your ever-growing record collection- you will be glad you did.  Thank you for relying on our suggestions, the American Institute of Culinary Politics-the Elemental News of the Day, aka the AICPENDBLOG.COM @ WordPress.com thanks you.

Back in June, I said there was a third major political party: the Deep State Party. I thought it was restricted to the U.S. whereas now, I think it’s headquartered in Beijing

We expect Mitt Romney, Susan Collins, and Lisa Murkowski to behave dishonorably just as we do Ben Sasse. But where are the rest? Where is Marco Rubio? Where is that reprobate Lindsey Graham or that loser Mitch McConnell? You know if the Dems were trying to steal their seats (and one day they will using the same methods they have employed to steal this one), President Trump would be there leading the fight to save them.

FALL SESSION 2020

BLOG POST #3,690 AT THE AICP-END

ELECTION DAY 2020 PLUS THIRTY-FOUR

The return of the Christmas Star on December 21 might portend something amazing…

Pumpkin Center, CA 93313, 12-07-2020 Monday:  Back in June when I was wrapping up my week, I mentioned that evidence was pointing to the fact that we have more than just TWO MAJOR political parties in this country, the Republicans, and the Democrats.  I said, we have a THIRD MAJOR political party, the DEEP STATE PARTY.  I pointed to evidence in recent court rulings from the Supreme Court that made no sense as well as to other questionable and strange things going on across the country.  While I understand that there are people who don’t like President Trump- especially among the Republicans- I cannot understand WHY they won’t come to his defense in a roundabout way by screaming the election was fraudulent.

I mean, why the heck would Republicans NOT side with Donald Trump?  The man has stood up for the country, he has fought for the American people, he has brought back jobs by the million, and improved the lives of most everyone who wanted them improved.   Not only the big economic miracle he created, he also enlarged the party, something Republicans have long claimed they wanted to accomplish so why the crickets?

Then, things began to go south.  The Chinese communists infected the world with their laboratory-engineered crossbreed virus created from horseshoe bats and pangolins.  We have George Floyd murdered in the street and suddenly, we’re supposed to believe, grass roots rebellions are springing up around the country with American cities aflame, people murdered in the streets by violent left-wing mobs, looting, arson, rape, you name it, completely out of synch with what actually occurred in Minneapolis back in the late spring.

What I find utterly disturbing is how the election has been stolen from the president when he was on track to win one of the all-time greatest electoral victories only to see seven or eight corrupt states commit voter fraud on a scale heretofore unseen in the history of the country.

The Democrats have committed these heinous acts in front of the entire nation yet many Republicans and almost all the Democrats are saying, ‘nothing to see here, move on, keep moving,’ when we have films from various counting facilities in several states showing all manner of corruption occurring.  It’s as if they are no longer afraid of we, the people, seeing them in the act.

Then, the Deep State Party demonstrates it’s alive and well.  Republicans that President Trump helped win their seats- whether a scumbag such as Governor Brian Kemp of Georgia or Governor Mike DeWine of Ohio or various senators and congressmen-and-women, they either turn their backs on him or worse, drive the dagger deep into his jugular vein.

Across the country, President Trump’s legal team is holding hearings in one state house (or rental hall) after another, showing the evidence, presenting sworn testimony via affidavits or in person testimony or both.  Lawmakers sit, listen, express shock, dismay, or become angry, hateful, spiteful, like the Democratic lawmakers seem to do.  Yet, Attorney-General William “Bill” Barr, someone I thought was a great man, says, ‘Nah, nothing to see here, not enough ‘evidence’ to overturn the election.’  What?  Not you, too, Bill?

It’s like, good God, where do we go.  Our viewing options are declining as Fox News now seems to have crossed over to the other side.  It seems as though they would rather have a kingdom in hell than be peons on the Earth, beloved by their audience.  Why they would suddenly shift to being almost 99-percent anti-Trump is beyond me but like everyone else, I have moved to OAN and Newsmax.    Not because I wanted to but because my sanity depended upon it.

We see other Republicans doing what they always do and that is becoming MIA, missing in action.  Thankfully, the new House members, the Freedom Caucus, are out front fighting on behalf of President Trump as are Senators Ted Cruz, R-TX, and Rand Paul, R-KY.  Thank God some haven’t forgotten what this is all about: freedom, liberty, independence, and not becoming a satellite state of the criminal scum ruling us from afar- prior to Trump- Beijing.  No, thank God there are still a few Americans doing battle on behalf of the Constitution, the American Way of Life, and the MAGA agenda.

I will say this in closing: I no longer believe the DEEP STATE PARTY is limited to the United States.  No, this malevolent party is global, full of globalists, who all seem to lean towards the Chi-Coms because of the money and power the Dragon bestows upon them.  I think we are closer to the End Times than we suspect my friends.

You see, when I heard about the so-called Christmas Star- the alignment of Jupiter and Saturn for the first time since 1012 and before that at the birth of Christ- it made me think something BIG is coming on December 21.  Back in 2012, it was the end of the Mayan Calendar which turned out to be a dud.  However, one must wonder.  What a glorious time it would be for Jesus Christ to return and save the planet?

I’ll see you tomorrow.  We will continue our discussion of the Deep State Party and what it means for all of us…

FALL SESSION 2019

PEARL HARBOR DAY—NEVER FORGET!

BLOG POST #3,324 AT THE AICP-END

334 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2020

Let’s get down to the nitty-gritty and talk about WHO has a chance in our party to win and WHY

Arvin, CA 93203, 12-07-2019 Saturday:  Yesterday, I started updating our look at the various nominees seeking to lead our party to victory and by the time I concluded my post, we found ourselves left with Amy Klobuchar, Joe Biden, and Bernie Sanders, the only three left from my commentary six months ago, as well as three new ones, Tom Steyer, Deval Patrick, and Michael Bloomberg (as well as one who never really entered the race, Howard Schultz, the Starbucks magnate).

Considering that the others I mentioned yesterday- such as Liz Warren, the inauthentic woman with pie in the sky dreams of forcing EVERY American onto some sort of far-left, soul-killing, one-size-fits-all health care plan (as well as setting our nation back by ending all reliance on fossil fuels) or Kamala Harris who is already gone or Liz who will soon be, all we have left from the original pack are Amy, Joe, and Bernie.

Now, I like a good rabble rouser as much as anyone does but Bernie, folks, I simply am not ‘feeling the Bern.’  I am a liberal fellow as is my wife, Nadia, but we own property, have a business, we donate to liberal causes and charities but I don’t want some distant apparatchik in Washington, D.C., taxing us out of existence to pay for all this FREE stuff for non-producers like dope heads and non-citizens.  When did that become part of being a Democrat?

This is the thing that is irking me, half the party remains the liberal faithful while the once submerged uber-far-left, i.e., the socialists and the communists, have bubbled up from the bottom and now purport to be the ‘mainstream’ of the party.  They aren’t.

Now, Tom Steyer, latecomer to the race, is a sham guy.  He acts as though he is a BIG ENVIRONMENTALIST but the scum made his money on eradicating thousands of acres of koala bear habitat in Australia so he could mine billions of dollars-worth of coal as well as on privatized prisons- something NO conscientious Democrat at any level can or would ever accept- he should be a damned Republican.

Oh, he talks a good game, wants to impeach #45 which is all well and good but most all of us- and many Republicans, too, to give them a nod- want to see this worthless, crooked POS gone so woo-woo, there, Tommy old boy.  I predict this guy will be out of the race by the time we pick up again and the good thing is in the last debate, Joe Biden called him out on his coal-derived wealth to which the stunned phony had no answer.

Then, former Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick entered the race and while he might be a good guy, capitalist and all, very few people know him and what’s more if they did, they wouldn’t care.  For a black gentleman, he comes off as extremely vanilla to me and no one is going to give him a shot- unless it’s between HIM and Bernie.

Then, we have Michael Bloomberg, a man of enormous wealth, he makes #45 look like a street urchin, a pauper, a beggar, and the guy has a certain amount of class.  He will have to get past ‘stop and frisk’ as well as trying to micromanage New Yorkers’ lives by restricting the size of sodas they could guzzle, the straws they no longer can use to enjoy them, or telling every restaurant in New York City that they could not put salt shakers on the damned tables.  That, my friends, is plain f**king insane.

The question is with a President Bloomberg, will we have dietary police inspecting every restaurant and fining us restaurant owners and operators if we provide salt to our guests?  Will they behave like the morality police of Iran or Saudi Arabia or any other Third World despotic hellhole of a country by taking food service operators out and giving them public canings?  I would hope not because if so, I think we will witness riots from one end of the country to the other because we don’t want to live in a nanny state.

I am going to say something you might find surprising is that Howard Schultz, well, he did not look so bad. Personally, the more capitalism the better because our goal as a political party should be in lifting everyone UP instead of trying to bring everyone DOWN.  That makes no sense and it is never going to bring us victory.  Besides, who the f**k wants to be ‘Venezuela?’

All that remains is Senator Klobuchar, D-Minn.  Now, they say she can be bitchy and is hard to work with or for, well, she sort of looks like someone who demands results and expects them as quickly as possible.  I like her and I believe she could be the one.  Here is something I said about her earlier in the year:

“I like Senator Klobuchar, I think she is a solid candidate, one who could be a sleeper in the race.  While the others battle it out in the upcoming debates, as along as she can hold her own and be on topic when the questions fly her way, she will be able to move on and then launch a hefty attack on the remnants who survive the first couple of debates.”  (Davis, 22-June-2019)

Right now, the nuts are battling for supremacy.  The next debate features Joe Biden, Liz Warren, Amy Klobuchar, Tom Steyer, Bernie Sanders, and Pete Buttigieg.  This one will take place on December 19, 2019 and should be among the best as it features the least number of debaters yet.  However, I am not sure if anyone else can get in before then or not.  It would be a shame for Tulsi Gabbard not to be included.

I think it is going to the ultimate bloodletting as I will predict now that Steyer will be gone as will Liz Warren, and sadly, maybe Joe Biden, too.  I love the guy but him talking about black kids playing in his lap (surprised he didn’t call them pickaninnies, thank God for small favors) and rubbing his leg hair all the while he’s sucking Dr. Jill’s finger in front of a crowd but what the hell is going on in his attic?

Meanwhile, Deval Patrick will flit about on the outside, disappearing as quickly as he entered (Obama loses yet again) while Michael Bloomberg continues acting like an independent and not a Democrat.  Still, if our choices are between Bernie and Bloomberg, Bloomberg will get my vote- hands down.

Friends let’s remember our brave dead from the attack on Pearl Harbor, what- 78 frigging years ago- amazing.  If I make it to 2039, I could see the 100th anniversary of the start of World War II…now, that would be something.

See you tomorrow for my final post of the year.  Next year…next year will be Armageddon, folks.

Today’s Mothers of Invention album is their twenty-third album, “Playground Psychotics,” which appeared on record store shelves on October 27, 1992 and was another exciting look at the heyday of the Mothers.  Over the course of Frank Zappa’s life, he went back and forth between working with the original Mothers and then with various lineups in between.  This is one of the better collections of nothing but the best.   We recommend that you take the link posted above, go to Amazon.com, and buy this album NOW. Thank you.

Paul Rodgers released his next album, “Cut Loose,” on October 15, 2011.  This album originally came out in 1983 and was the artist’s first official solo album.  The singer played all the instruments and did an admirable job.  Rodgers also wrote all 10 songs and they remain to this day as some of his all-time best compositions.  We hope you will visit Amazon.com where you can pick it up in the format, the condition, and the price that works best for you.  You can thank us later.
