216. TODAY IN HISTORY—THURSDAY, AUGUST 04, 2022

2022 Thursday: Hmmm, so-o-o, Joe ‘Slobbering’ Biden whacked Ayman Al-Zawahiri, the Number Two of al-Qaida, longtime confidant, physician, and amigo of dead terrorist Osama bin Laden. A somewhat coherent Biden stumbled to the microphones this past Monday and stuttered out his message of a ‘successful drone strike’ on an old terrorist no one has seen in about a decade- if not longer.

  61. 2016 Thursday: CBS News reports that candidate Donald Trump’s behavior on the campaign trail has been ‘so bizarre’ that many are left to wonder if he is a plant by the Hillary campaign or a secret agent in the employ of Russia.  What a load of bogus BS.  This supports the proven theory that the Deep State, the Democratic Party, and their Fake News allies are in cahoots not only to push haggard Hillary into the White House but to bamboozle the American people into believing their phony propaganda.  We shall see who wins in November.
  62. 2017 Friday: German supermarket Aldi pulls all shell eggs from the Netherlands from its shelves after the discovery of the chemical- fipronil- is found in them.  Pest control companies use fipronil to kill insects so WTF?  Elsewhere, in a federal court in Brooklyn, New York, former boy wonder pharmaceutical CEO Martin Shkreli- a loser who jacked up the price of a generic drug to the point no one could afford it- undergoes conviction on three counts of securities fraud.
  63. 2018 Saturday: In what many believe to be a setup, Venezuelan thug President Nicolas Maduro survives an assassination attempt, carried out by a drone while the communist POS was at a military review.  The event was captured on live TV.  Even better, the former bus-driving thug Maduro blames the assassination attempt on Venezuelan exiles hiding in neighboring Colombia and on their handlers as well as the Venezuelan ‘mafia’ supposedly living in Florida.  Dude, STFU.
  64. 2019 Sunday: The Central Bank of China devalues its currency below the normal 7-1 ratio with the U.S. dollar for the first time in more than a decade, due in part to the trade tariffs President Donald J. Trump is using to force the communists to the bargaining table and trade talks.  Meanwhile, in what many believe to be a terrorist attack conducted by ISIS, a car bomb explodes in Cairo, Egypt, killing 20 and injuring another 47 people.  Scumbags.  Elsewhere, Connor Bettis- a POS with a gun- hits the bar district in Dayton, Ohio, and kills 9 people and wounds another 27 before law enforcement arrives on scene and shoots the punk dead.
  65. 2020 Tuesday: In Beirut, Lebanon, a tremendous blast felt as far as Cyprus, rips part of the port apart, killing between 75-100 people and injuring another 2,700-3,500.  Speculation abounds with the Lebanese claiming it was a storage site for firecrackers (yeah, right) but we suspect the site was warehousing Iranian munitions bound for Hamas to use against Israel so either the Mossad took care of the problem, or the mullah-loving Iranians and their Hamas allies are too flipping stupid to be around large caches of explosives.  Self-detonation (or so we suspect- morons!).  Wow.
  66. 2020 Tuesday A: Covid-19 Statistics for the Planet as a Whole- here are today’s Xi Jinping Bat Flu Statistics for the globe: 18,380,616 confirmed cases, UP by 241,178 cases, 691,740 confirmed deaths, UP by 1,167 deaths, and 10,973,850 confirmed recoveries, UP by 220,035 recoveries.  Here are the numbers for the United States: 4,834,460 confirmed cases, UP by 56,909 new cases, 158,728 confirmed deaths, UP by 1,208 new deaths, and 2,357,033 confirmed recoveries, UP by 38,264 new recoveries.  We believe if the authorities would share the TRUE percentages of deaths per number of those with the disease- instead of making everyone who might have the Wuhan Flu in their system but did not cause their deaths- known, there would be LESS fear.
  67. 2020 Tuesday B: COVID-19 Statistics in the three states in which, the world-famous American Institute of Culinary Politics-The Elemental News of the Day employs chef-authors, California, Hawaii, and Washington, here are the stats, Golden State first: 519,427 confirmed cases, 9,501 confirmed deaths, but as is the norm, NO mention of confirmed recoveries.  Next, here are the stats for the Aloha State: 2,448 confirmed cases, 26 confirmed deaths, and 1,315 confirmed recoveries.  Finally, in the Ever-Red, uh, we mean, the Evergreen State, here are the stats: 58,715 confirmed cases, 1,600 confirmed deaths, but like California, the incline-headed governor, Jay Inslee, won’t share the number of confirmed recoveries.  Shame on these flipping Democrats.  Let’s take a look at one more state, the Empire State: 417,589 confirmed number of cases, 35,719 confirmed number of deaths, and like most other Blue States, NO number of confirmed number of recoveries.  Wake up, Governor Andrew “I’m a Moron” Cuomo!  Give us the honest numbers you fetid piece of sewer scum, especially of the senior citizens you have killed.  Shame on you.

  69. 2020 Tuesday D: Dr. Oxiris Barbot, New York City health commissioner, sent a letter to moron Mayor Bill Di Blasio, calling it quits over the tremendous mishandling of the COVID-19 Chinese Virus.  We must remember that Mayor Di Blasio and Governor Andrew “I’m a Moron” Cuomo colluded together to send patients infected with the Wuhan Flu into rest homes where vulnerable people died sans the presence of any loved ones present.  We can smell massive lawsuits against Di Blasio and Cuomo brewing on the horizon, like the police officers they wish to destroy, they should enjoy NO qualified immunity for their criminal mistakes.  Elsewhere, General Charles Brown took the oath of office in the White House which made him the new chief of staff of the U.S. Air Force, the first black American to hold the post.  Congratulations!
  70. 2020 Tuesday E: One teacher’s union after another around the country are making demands before they will return that range from soaking the wealthy, adopting the Green New Deal, abolishing the police, equipping every home with a computer and Internet access, and loads of other stupidity.  Friendly state education authorities are trying to shut down private schools, charter schools, you name it, they are doing whatever they can to close it.  President Trump: do what President Ronald Reagan did with the striking air traffic controllers- FIRE THEM and REPLACE THEM.  On August 05, 1981, he fired 11,359 of the scumbags.  Other Americans will take these jobs.
  71. 2021 Wednesday: Covid-19 Statistics for the Planet as a Whole- 200,907,364 confirmed cases, +660,570, 4,268,702 confirmed deaths, +9,788 and 180,887,601 confirmed recoveries, +375,059.  Next, here are the stats for the United States: 36,159,774 confirmed cases, UP 101,353 from yesterday’s reporting, 631,256 confirmed deaths, UP 759, [ix] and 29,783,667 confirmed recoveries, UP 24,537.  We genuinely welcome COVID Live Update World Meter for being honest in covering ALL the numbers- God bless them. [x]

Trump COVID-19 Deaths– Note: since Joe Biden became president on January 20, 2021, there have been 312,814 CHI-VI DEATHS IN THE United States- feeble old Joe, by the end of the year, you will have tied the total number witnessed by the Trump administration in nearly a year of the rampaging coronavirus pandemic.  Under President Trump’s watch, there were 404,078 fatalities from the Chi-Com Bat Virus. Currently, Joe is shy 91,264 deaths- we brought this number up to date- Joe is going to hit the mark very soon now…

[xi]

[xvi]    Currently, Bitcoin, one U.S. greenback = 0.000025.  As for Chi-Com money, one-dollar U.S. = 6.47 Chinese yuan.  Meanwhile, one-dollar U.S. = 0.84 euros and in Mexican pesos equals 19.97. In Lao Kip, one greenback equals 9,550.00 and in Latvian Lats, a buck equal 0.604 and in Lebanese Pound, one dollar equals 1,505.50 of theirs. [xvii]
  76. 2021 Wednesday E: U.S. National Debt and Gasoline Prices in the Four States in which we have Chef-Authors- Thanks to the Biden administration, gasoline prices continue rising by the day and NOTE- these prices are sans TAXES- in California, gasoline prices have risen to $4.387 per gallon, $3.025 in Florida, $4.085 in Hawaii, and $3.865 in Washington state. [xviii]    Let’s look at one other location- Maine: $3.128.  We are going to do something else that could be fun- gasoline prices around the world going from cheapest to highest.  The next country on the list has the next lowest gasoline price in the world- Cayman Islands: $4.929 per U.S. Gallon. [xix]  Meanwhile, here is a snapshot of the U.S. National Debt for today: $28,602,871,192,916 and the Democrats are adding TRILLIONS of dollars to it, not BILLIONS but frigging TRILLIONS. [xx]  Cloward and Piven causing problems like they always do which is not good- those two bastards should have met their ends on the chopping block.  As for holders of U.S. debt, after Sweden, the next largest holder of U.S. debt is Australia with $40 billion of U.S. national debt (it is important to note that these numbers vary every day with one nation after another jockeying for top position.
  77. 2021 Wednesday F: Joe Biden’s Border Catastrophe I– Here’s the ‘Border Czar’ “Kooky Kamala” Harris’ daily ticker: Border czar for 134 days and 40 days since her one and only visit to the southern border.  Next, One America News shared the latest figures on the illegal alien tidal wave overwhelming the country today.  Here we go: (1) Cost this day alone: $533,587,136.  Next, (2) here is the cost for caring for all these illegal aliens this year: $236,150,079,488.  Next, (3) Here is the estimate of the numbers of illegals who have poured across the U.S.-Mexico border just this year: 2,420,349.  Fourth and final, here is the CONSERVATIVE estimate of illegal aliens roaming the U.S.: 36,420,348.  (Sources for One America News Illegal Alien Numbers: Center for Immigration Studies, Department of Homeland Security, Federation for American Immigration Reform, Institute for Defense Analyses, Yale, and MIT).  Note- the world-famous American Institute of Culinary Politics-the Elemental News of the Day predicted as far back as 2009 when our original blogsite got underway that the numbers back then were between 35-50 million illegal aliens.  Now, we believe that number to be closer to 75-100 million.  A person cannot walk into a hardware store, go into a liquor store, dine at an outdoor restaurant without illegals running up and begging for food.  This must stop and it’s going to stop extremely soon…
  78. 2021 Wednesday G: Joe Biden’s Border Catastrophe II– A federal judge blocks Governor Greg Abbott’s executive order prohibiting the transport of illegal aliens across the Lone Star State by anyone other than federal authorities.  The Texas Republican governor, however, is fighting back against this blatant overreach of power.  Elsewhere, slobbering Joe Biden continues blaming Texas and Florida for increasing the numbers of Chi-Vi cases.  ‘America’s Governor’ Ron DeSantis, R-FL, fired back at the counterfeit president, slamming him for allowing in millions of illegal aliens many of whom are infected with COVID-19 by telling him to ‘do your job and leave us alone.’  Man, the applause was tremendous.  Meanwhile, we have more numbers for the illegal alien invasion for the month of July: the Border Patrol caught 203,865 illegals, at least 37,252 were able to evade capture, 78 died, another 7,867 were guilty of NO violation, which leaves an outstanding number of 1,079 illegals.  Again, this is all a conservative estimate as the so-called ‘got-away folks’ are far higher than the numbers shown here.
  79. 2021 Wednesday H: Foreign News-Overseas News I- Pakistan announced today that it has completed approximately 90-percent of the border wall with Afghanistan.  They don’t want Afghan refugees pouring into their country any more than Europeans want more Muslims, or the United States want more human refuse from around the world.  Good for them.  Elsewhere, Hezbollah scumbags fired some rockets into northern Israel today which led to the Israelis conducting artillery barrages on known jihadist sites in Lebanon.
  80. 2021 Wednesday I: COVID-19 Updates and Additional Information I– Dr. “Phony Tony” Fauci is predicting that within a few weeks, there will be ‘200,000 cases of the Chi-Vi daily in the United States.’  (Note- this is all you need to know that the border must be closed and that every single illegal alien is rounded up, imprisoned, and then deported ASAP).  Meanwhile, Dr. Ashish Jha told Newsmax today that the NIH director Dr. Francis Collins was right to walk back mask comments.  The good doctor was saying stupid stuff like parents should wear masks at home around their children.  Enough already.
  81. 2021 Wednesday J: COVID-19 Updates and Additional Information II– The World Health Organization is calling for a moratorium on COVID-19 booster shots.  Oh, really?  Meanwhile, the Chi-Coms continue their bitching and whining over the recent GOP COVID-19 origins report that placed the blame squarely on the Chi-Coms for infecting the entire world with their Frankenstein-like lab-created Wuhan Bat Flu Virus.  Elsewhere, the Centers for Disease Control yesterday bowed to Democratic-Socialist pressure and re-enacted a moratorium on evictions, something they lack the power to do.  Doubts continue to build as to the legality of such an order by an entity with no power in this area.  Look, folks, this is what the Democrats love- they love rules and regulations, none of them backed up by laws.  This is how they punish people, how they persecute people, and how they crush people.  This is bullshit and we would suggest that landlords pay NO attention to this order.
  82. 2021 Wednesday K: Political News I– Democratic Party leadership in the House is urging their wavering members to run as “Biden Democrats” or risk losing the majority in 2022.  Meanwhile, Senator Kevin Cramer, R-ND, has introduced a bill (that will go nowhere) that says ‘if a state mandates COVID-19 vaccine passports, it also must mandate VOTER ID.’  That bill is going nowhere.  Meanwhile, President Donald J. Trump is correct when he blasts the House Democrats for their ongoing crusade to get a hold of his tax returns.  Good for you.
  83. 2021 Wednesday L: Political News II– A new poll says that more than half of California’s Hispanic population wants the recall against Governor Gavin “The Nazi” Newsom to succeed and like everyone else, the Latinos are members of all parties.  Meanwhile, Senator James Lankford, R-OK, says that ‘our grandchildren will suffer repaying Joe Biden’s massive debt.’  Amen.  In other political news, ‘America’s Mayor’ Rudy Giuliani says that ‘Cuomo may be guilty, but he does deserve due process.’  Elsewhere, Rep. Devin Nunes, R-CA 22nd CD, is suing MSNBC’s Rachel “Mudslinger” Maddow for libel.  We hope you win, congressman.
  84. 2021 Wednesday M: Political News III– In other political news, a new poll says that almost everyone is against partisan gerrymandering.  Next, Senate Minority Leader “Cocaine Mitch” McConnel, RINO-KY, has outlined demands for future spending bills.  Mitch, you don’t have any power.  Meanwhile, Joe Biden plans to shift arms export sales based on human rights concerns.  Looks like Saudi Arabia is not going to get its weapons.
  85. 2021 Wednesday N: Economic News– Last month, everyone was celebrating how many NEW private sector jobs Joe Biden was going to create and then whoops-a-daisy, bad economic news.  Last month, the Biden regime created ONLY 330,000 jobs- many of them no more than hamburger-flipper or taco-stuffer jobs- rather than the highly predicted number of 653,000 new jobs.  Growth in U.S. services sector hits a record high in July.  Elsewhere, President Donald J. Trump economic adviser Peter Navarro says “U.S. pensions took a big hit from the Chi-Coms’ crackdown on BIG TECH.”
  86. 2021 Wednesday O: California Lottery Results / Super Lotto and Powerball Draws– First, here are the results for Super Lotto Draw #3583 what with a $14 million jackpot on the line for some lucky winner.  Here are the numbers: 04, 14, 18, 36, 43, and Mega 14.  Out of 89,945 winning tickets, the highest winner was one person who had FIVE numbers but NO Mega for a prize of $33,312.  The winning ticket was sold at a 7-Eleven in Culver City, CA 90232.   Next, here are the results for the Powerball Draw #869 with a jackpot of $211 million up for grabs: 05, 21, 32, 36, 58, and Powerball 14.  Out of 85,166 winning tickets in the Golden State, the highest winners were FOUR people who had FOUR numbers plus the Powerball for a prize of $11,844 apiece.
  87. 2022 Thursday: Hmmm, so-o-o, Joe ‘Slobbering’ Biden whacked Ayman Al-Zawahiri, the Number Two of al-Qaida, longtime confidant, physician, and amigo of dead terrorist Osama bin Laden.  A somewhat coherent Biden stumbled to the microphones this past Monday and stuttered out his message of a ‘successful drone strike’ on an old terrorist no one has seen in about a decade- if not longer.  Drooling Joe told his then-boss Barack Hussein Obama (and probably still boss) NOT to whack Osama but Obama ‘All Drama’ did.  Now, Joe wants us to think he’s a big, macho machine ordering death and destruction on every fourth string, D-team terrorist.  Folks, I don’t buy this crap nor will I.  When and if they confirm the DNA of the dead terrorist to be him or not, it means NOTHING.  NOTHING.  Big frigging deal.  Joe, you aren’t Donald J. Trump.  You’re a senile bum.  Resign now.

  59. 2014 Friday:  Following a data breach in October, Staples, Inc. announces that up to 1.16 million credit card identities may have been compromised and that it will offer free credit protection to the victims at the stores from which, their accounts suffered hacking.  In doing so, they advise all customers to monitor their credit accounts closely.
  60. 2015 Saturday: In southeastern Turkey near the borders with Iraq and Syria, the government says four days of heavy fighting against Kurdish PKK militants resulted in the loss of two Turkish soldiers and 69 Kurds.  Meanwhile, Al-Shabab in Mogadishu, Somalia, sets off a car bomb in a crowded marketplace killing at least three people and wounding at least another eight.  Ah, the ‘religion of peace.’
  61. 2016 Monday: In Berlin, Germany, a Muslim jihadist drives a truck through a Christmas market killing at least 12 and injuring another 48 people enjoying the holiday season.  Police apprehended the assailant, a Pakistani ‘refugee’ named Naved Baluch who denies all involvement in the heinous crime.  Shoot the POS.  Meanwhile, at an art exhibit in Ankara, Turkey, a jihadist assassinates the Russian ambassador, Andrey Karlov.  Police caught the gunman and took him into custody.
  62. 2017 Tuesday: The U.S. Senate approves a $1.5 trillion tax bill the Democrats screech, and wail is going to the wealthiest Americans.  Look, the wealthiest Americans are the job creators, so STFU liberal, left-wing losers!   Meanwhile, in communist China, Beijing condemns and executes 10 accused drug smugglers and dealers yet the amount of fentanyl flowing into the U.S. from the Chi-Coms won’t end.  What is up with that?
  63. 2018 Wednesday: Outgoing House Speaker Paul Ryan, R-WI, bids Congress a tearful farewell, lamenting the ‘broken politics’ afflicting the country.   Meanwhile, we learn in Illinois, the Catholic Church would not release the names of more than 500 pedophile priests.  Ye, gods!  Elsewhere, President Trump declares victory over ISIS and announces the withdrawal of U.S. troops from Syria.
  64. 2019 Thursday: Senile House Speaker Nancy “Mumbles” Pelosi overplays her hand yet again by making it official- she won’t walk the two articles of impeachment against President Donald J. Trump to the U.S. Senate until the GOP-controlled upper house promises a ‘fair and just proceeding,’ meaning a guarantee to do whatever the Democrats demand of them.  Not going to happen.  This battle will carry over to the New Year as House lawmakers are already heading home for a two-week Christmas break.  Meanwhile, in Los Angeles, California, at Loyola Marymount College, seven Democrat hopefuls are going to debate tonight.
  65. 2020 Saturday: We have two NFL games this Saturday afternoon but first, a recap on Thursday Night Football’s matchup: (1) Los Angeles Chargers, 30 (5-9) @ Las Vegas Raiders, 27 (8-6) Thursday Night 5:30 P.M. Here are today’s matchups: (2) Buffalo Bills, 48 (11-3) @ Denver Broncos, 19 (5-9) Saturday 1:30 P.M.  Next: (3) Carolina Panthers, 16 (4-10) @ Green Bay Packers, 24 (11-3) Saturday 5:15 P.M.
  66. 2020 Saturday A: The Michigan House of Representatives votes to repeal the Emergency Powers Act they mistakenly bestowed on fascist Governor Gretchen Whitmer, Democrat, an act she used to punish individuals and businesses across the state.  Recall this horrible woman.  Meanwhile, Minnesota prepares to call out the National Guard when the trial of the four police officers charged with the death of George Floyd begins.
  67. 2020 Saturday B: We now learn that the suspected Russian hack of the U.S. began as far back as March before anyone noticed anything or reported it.  Here are the government departments or entities affected by the Russian FSB thugs: (1) U.S. Treasury Dept. (2) U.S. Commerce Dept. (3) National Institute of Health (4) CISA (5) Dept. of Homeland Security (6) U.S. State Dept. (7) Pentagon- the (8) Office of POTUS (9) NASA (10) Natl. Nuclear Security Administration (11) U.S. Energy Dept. and (12) three U.S. states.  Members of government are calling this an ‘act of war.’  We tend to agree; however, we believe the Russians, the Chi-Coms, the Iranians, and other human garbage around the world are acting in concert and they also hacked the U.S. Presidential Election to sow as much discord and confusion as possible.  Because of this, the U.S. Dept. of State announces that it is going to close the last two U.S. consulates in Russia as U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo says, ‘it’s pretty clear that Russia was behind the massive hack.’
  68. 2020 Saturday C: The U.S. Congress is holding a Saturday session on government funding. President Donald J. Trump signs a stopgap spending bill to keep government up and running.  Next, the U.S. Army rejects former national security adviser Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, U.S. Army Retired call for martial law to figure out what the hell happened in the presidential election.   Regarding the election, Franklin Graham says, ‘I tend to believe the election was rigged or stolen.’  Elsewhere, apelike thug and former director of the CIA (and former communist) John Brennan says the Durham report is ‘trolling’ and mocks outgoing Attorney-General William “Bill” Barr.  Have YOU looked in the mirror lately, Mr. Brennan?  You are a thug.   Speaking of Mr. Barr, he says ‘there was NO CIA misconduct in the Trump-Russian collusion probe.’
  69. 2020 Saturday D: In a humorous note, the Fake News Media is blubbering tears, criticizing the so-called ‘president-elect,’ “Pro-Chi-Com China Joe” Biden for closing access to them.  What the hell did you think you dumbasses?   Elsewhere, housing ‘experts’ want the eviction ban extended.  Good for them.  Regarding Chinese Virus-related problems, the GOP wants to bind Chi-Vi aid to limits on federal spending (there’s no money) which throws the outcome of the COVID-19 relief bill into doubt.  Allies of Chi-Com Joe Biden cry, “Foul!”  Speaking of the Wuhan Virus Crisis, the good old ‘Kung Flu,’ the Moderna vaccine has been cleared for emergency use in the United States which will spread the vaccine to greater numbers of people.
  70. 2020 Saturday E: Questions continue to arise over WHY California Democratic Congressman Eric “Farter-in-Chief” Swalwell is still in the House of Representatives much less on the House Intelligence Committee when more evidence of him a five-year-plus sexual relationship with a Chi-Com honeypot having continues coming to light.  He must go.  NOW!  We also learn the Chi-Com ‘100-Year Plan’ is for them to bribe, buy, or blackmail everyone around the world who is in their way.  Time to start dropping some nukes, people!   U.S. Senator Marsha Blackburn, R-TN, says, “The Democrats are too cozy with the Chi-Coms.”  She’s right.

  72. 2020 Saturday G: Here are the numbers for the Xi Jinping Bat Flu- Pelosi Pox, communist China’s gift to the world and a boon for Democrats who want to exercise their fascist skills in locking down people’s lives like California’s duplicitous closet pansy Governor Gavin “The Smiler” Newsom:  Here are the statistics for the planet as a whole: 76,126,125 confirmed cases, +1,617,691, 1,602,500, confirmed deaths, +11,762, and 42,963,631 confirmed recoveries (again, this number is less than reported a week ago), +361,393.  Next, here are the stats for the United States, the intended target of the Chinese-engineered Wuhan Virus pandemic: 17,629,293 confirmed cases, UP 177,126 from yesterday’s reporting, 317,534 confirmed deaths, UP 1,765, and 7,857,661 confirmed recoveries, UP 38,121.

Currently, they have 614,429 confirmed cases, 8,031 confirmed deaths, and no mention of confirmed recoveries- thank you, Governor DeWine.  Let’s look at Israel’s stats now that Mo is living there: 372,886 confirmed cases, 3,074 confirmed deaths, and 345,589 confirmed recoveries.  Speaking of the Mao Zedong fever, Maryland and Virginia donate doses of the vaccine to Washington, D.C.
  74. 2020 Saturday: Folks, even though it’s Saturday, everyone knows EVIL never sleeps so stay tuned for whatever shenanigans the Chi-Coms, their allies in Canada, Iran, Russia, Cuba, Venezuela, North Korea, and in the Democratic Party in the U.S. are up to today.  Everyone knows whatever it is, it’s going be GOOD!

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

The family of Sandy Denny along with her record label compiled a ‘best of’ collection for the ill-fated artist that came out on June 18, 2000: “No More Sad Refrains: The Anthology.”  The album features a collection of 34 glorious tracks running from her earliest days through her association with Fairport Convention to Fotheringay to Fairport Convention again and onto her final solo career.  We hope you will investigate this one for yourselves, give it a good listen, and then consider adding it to your growing collection of music from this devoted vocalist and songwriter.  You will be so glad you did.  Enjoy.

Saturday, December 19, 2020, Today in History:

We feel compelled to share with our new readers that we are an OPINION SITE and not a NEWS SITE although we do report the news.  If anything, we are big history buffs which is why we have been going strong since early 2009…

Sunday, December 19, 2021:

ENDNOTES:

[i] We began promoting the music of this legendary British blues-rock band, Ten Years After, beginning on Tuesday, 01-March-2011 through Thursday, 24-March-2011.  We hope you will check them out because their music is as important today as it was 50 years ago.  Their performance at Woodstock in 1969 made them megastars.

[ii] We shared the music of the Lovin’ Spoonful with the readership beginning on Saturday, 14-September-2013 through Tuesday, 24-September-2013.  At the time, we made the oversight of not sharing the music of John B. Sebastian with the readership, so we do hope we come back around to promoting him sometime in the next 15 years or so.

[iii] Not sure when we present this Canadian rock band, Loverboy, but we sure as heck hope we do sometime within the next decade because- say what you will about them- they are as exciting today as they were back in the 1980s.  Please remain vigilant for the day that we do.

[iv] We began promoting the music of both Procol Harum and Robin Trower along with Gary Brooker beginning on Monday, 16-March-2015 through Sunday, 31-May-2015.  We hope you will seek them out and consider adding them to your growing music collection.

[v] We promoted the music of the Small Faces, Faces, and a bunch more interconnected bands beginning on Tuesday, 22-April-2014 through Tuesday, 01-July-2014.  We encourage everyone to search out the music of the various bands in this collection so you can add them to your growing music collection.

[vi] We shared the music of the Stones beginning Tuesday, 22-March-2016 through Sunday, 28-August-2016.  This included the members’ solo projects.  We sure as heck hope you check out the Rolling Stones, Mick Jagger, Brian Jones, Keith Richard, Charlie Watts, Bill Wyman, and Mick Taylor.

[vii] See previous footnote.

[viii] In 2019, enfeebled House Speaker Nancy Pelosi continues misleading the public that what President Bill Clinton was in trouble for was his ‘affair’ with White House intern, Monica Lewinsky.  Although that was questionable, he was in trouble for lying in the Paula Jones case as well as for suborning lying under oath in same which inevitable cost him big bucks as well as the right to practice law in his home state of Arkansas for a year.  Speaker Pelosi, STOP LYING to the American people, tell the truth or step down from office and go back home to crime-ridden San Francisco.

[ix] This guy is more of a murderous thug than even his father was.  Still President Donald J. Trump has attempted to bring him and his rat-shit country into modern times.  We shall see.

[x] In 2019 at this point, we are not sure as to whether she will give it, yet another goes or will remain along the sidelines talking shit.

216. TODAY IN HISTORY—WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 04, 2021

HHH. 2020 Tuesday: In Beirut, Lebanon, a tremendous blast felt as far as Cyprus, rips part of the port apart, killing between 75-100 people and injuring another 2,700-3,500. Speculation abounds with the Lebanese claiming it was a storage site for firecrackers (yeah, right) but we suspect the site was warehousing Iranian munitions bound for Hamas to use against Israel …

  58. 2018 Saturday: In what many believe to be a setup, Venezuelan thug President Nicolas Maduro survives an assassination attempt, carried out by a drone while the communist POS was at a military review. The event was captured on live TV.  Even better, the former bus-driving thug Maduro blames the assassination attempt on Venezuelan exiles hiding in neighboring Colombia and on their handlers as well as the Venezuelan ‘mafia’ supposedly living in Florida.  Dude, STFU.
  59. 2019 Sunday: The Central Bank of China devalues its currency below the normal 7-1 ratio with the U.S. dollar for the first time in more than a decade, due in part to the trade tariffs President Donald J. Trump is using to force the communists to the bargaining table and trade talks. Meanwhile, in what many believe to be a terrorist attack conducted by ISIS, a car bomb explodes in Cairo, Egypt, killing 20 and injuring another 47 people.   Elsewhere, Connor Bettis- a POS with a gun- hits the bar district in Dayton, Ohio, and kills 9 people and wounds another 27 before law enforcement arrives on scene and shoots the punk dead.
  60. 2020 Tuesday: In Beirut, Lebanon, a tremendous blast felt as far as Cyprus, rips part of the port apart, killing between 75-100 people and injuring another 2,700-3,500. Speculation abounds with the Lebanese claiming it was a storage site for firecrackers (yeah, right) but we suspect the site was warehousing Iranian munitions bound for Hamas to use against Israel so either the Mossad took care of the problem or the mullah-loving Iranians and their Hamas allies are too flipping stupid to be around large caches of explosives.  Self-detonation (or so we suspect- morons!).
  61. 2020 Tuesday A: Here are today’s Xi Jinping Bat Flu Statistics for the globe: 18,380,616 confirmed cases, UP by 241,178 cases, 691,740 confirmed deaths, UP by 1,167 deaths, and 10,973,850 confirmed recoveries, UP by 220,035 recoveries.
  62. 2020 Tuesday B: Next, in the three states in which, the world-famous American Institute of Culinary Politics-The Elemental News of the Day employs chef-authors, California, Hawaii, and Washington, here are the stats, Golden State first: 519,427 confirmed cases, 9,501 confirmed deaths, but as is the norm, NO mention of confirmed recoveries.
  63. 2020 Tuesday C: Here are today’s Stock Market closes: DOW Jones Industrial Average: 26,828.47, UP 164.07 points (+0.62%). Next, the NASDAQ: 10,841.17, UP 38.37 points (+0.35%).  Finally, here are the stats for the S&P 500: 3,306.51, UP 11.90 points (+0.36%).  The price of GOLD is $2,040.70 per troy oz., +19.00 (+0.94%) while the price of SILVER is $26.22 per troy ounce, +0.187 (+0.72%).  The price of PLATINUM is $958.50 per troy oz, +3.30 (+0.35%) while the price of COPPER is $2.90 per pound, +0.0085 (+0.29%).  The price of Light Sweet Crude Oil is $41.55 per barrel, -0.15 (-0.36%).  As for currency, one U.S. dollar = 6.97 communist Chinese yuan.  By contrast, one U.S. dollar = 0.85 euros.  Communist China manipulates its currency.
  64. 2020 Tuesday D: Dr.
  65. 2020 Tuesday E: One teachers union after another around the country are making demands before they will return that range from soaking the wealthy, adopting the Green New Deal, abolishing the police, equipping every home with a computer and Internet access, and loads of other stupidity.
  66. 2021 Wednesday:  Friends, stick around to discover whatever the heck is going on around the world today…what have the Chi-Coms instructed drooling Joe Biden to do today?

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

The next album by Jethro Tull hit record store shelves on September 22, 2009: “Live at Madison Square Garden 1978.”  This 1 DVD/1 CD album was LIVE in concert and it featured mostly tunes from “Songs from the Wood” and “Heavy Horses” plus some much-beloved favorites.  The band featured Ian Anderson (vocals, flutes, guitars, keyboards), Martin Barre (guitars), John Glascock (bass), John Evan (keyboards), Barriemore Barlow (drums), and Dee Palmer (keyboards and synthesizers).  We tend to favor the early four albums over the more modern efforts but still, this is a good way to see the band in a whole different light.  We hope you will seek it out and consider making it a part of your listening day.  Enjoy.

X. 1942 Saturday: As the fight to relieve Stalingrad continues, the 6th Panzer Division at the forefront of the push to reach the city of Mishkova arrives after heavy fighting with Soviet infantry and armored forces. Colonel General Hermann “Papa” Hoth informs Field Marshal Erich von Manstein that he will begin the final push the following day to reach the city and begin breaking the Sixth Army out of its encirclement. Unfortunately, General Paulus’ troops were engaged in heavy defensive fighting in the area where their part of the fight was to commence the breakout. He was unclear as what to do.

  59. 2019 Thursday: Senile House Speaker Nancy “Mumbles” Pelosi overplays her hand yet again by making it official- she won’t walk the two articles of impeachment against President Donald J.
  60. 2020 Saturday: We have two NFL games this Saturday afternoon but first, a recap on Thursday Night Football’s matchup: (1) Los Angeles Chargers, 30 (5-9) @ Las Vegas Raiders, 27 (8-6) Thursday Night 5:30 P.M. 62. 2020 Saturday B: We now learn that the suspected Russian hack of the U.S. began as far back as March before anyone noticed anything or reported it.
  63. 2020 Saturday C: The U.S.
  64. 2020 Saturday D: In a humorous note, the Fake News Media is blubbering tears, criticizing the so-called ‘president-elect,’ “Pro-Chi-Com China Joe” Biden for closing access to them.
  65. 2020 Saturday E: Questions continue to arise over WHY California Democratic Congressman Eric “Farter-in-Chief” Swalwell is still in the House of Representatives much less on the House Intelligence Committee when more evidence of him having a five-year-plus sexual relationship with a Chi-Com honeypot continues coming to light.  He must go.
  66. 2020 Saturday F: Stick around for tonight’s Super Lotto Draw and the Powerball drawings. First, here are the numbers for the Super Lotto Draw #3518 with a jackpot of $16 million at stake- 10, 15, 25, 31, 33, and Mega 21.  Out of 92.010 winning tickets, the highest winners were TWO people who had FIVE numbers but NO Mega for a prize of $17,020 apiece.  One of the two winning tickets was sold at an ARCO AM/PM station in Newbury Park, CA, 91320 while the other was sold at a Mega Liquor in San Gabriel, CA, 91776.   Next, here are the numbers for tonight’s Powerball Draw #804 with a jackpot of $377 million at stake: 27, 32, 34, 43, 52, and Powerball 13.  Out of 101,071 winning tickets, the highest winner was one person who had FOUR numbers plus the Powerball for a prize of $52,972.
  67. 2020 Saturday G: Here are the numbers for the Xi Jinping Bat Flu- Pelosi Pox, communist China’s gift to the world and a boon for Democrats who want to exercise their fascist skills in locking down people’s lives like California’s duplicitous closet pansy Governor Gavin “The Smiler” Newsom:  Here are the statistics for the planet as a whole: 76,126,125 confirmed cases, +1,617,691, 1,602,500, confirmed deaths, +11,762, and 42,963,631 confirmed recoveries (again, this number is less than reported a week ago), +361,393.
  68. 2020 Saturday H: Next, in the three states in which, the world-famous American Institute of Culinary Politics-the Elemental News of the Day employs chef-bloggers- California, Hawaii, and Washington- here are the stats, California first: 1,827,535 confirmed cases, 22,509 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Next here are the numbers for Hawaii: 20,257 confirmed cases, 281 confirmed deaths, and no mention of confirmed recoveries.  Finally, here are the stats for leftist-Marxist-socialist hellhole of Washington: 224,594 confirmed cases, 3,168 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Let’s look at one other state- Ohio.
  69. 2020 Saturday I: Folks, even though it’s Saturday, everyone knows EVIL never sleeps so stay tuned for whatever shenanigans the Chi-Coms, their allies in Canada, Iran, Russia, Cuba, Venezuela, North Korea, and in the Democratic Party in the U.S. are up to today.  Everyone knows whatever it is, it’s going be GOOD!

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

Now that the J. Geils Band was on an upward trajectory, the band’s old record company, Atlantic Records decided what the heck, we are going to release another best of album, “Best of the J. Geils Band Two” on October 28, 1980.  Once again there were another nine tunes culled from throughout the group’s discography with the label and folks, these are great tunes.  If you have failed to get in on the ground floor with the group’s work, well, this is a superb way in which, you can do it which is why we encourage everyone to seek this one out and add it to your growing record collection.  Remember- wax is best and old “Pro-China Joe” Biden said in a primary debate that everyone should leave the record player on at night for their young kids and this is one of the albums you would have playing as the little tikes are trying to sleep.  This music is far better than say the music of Maroon Five or any of the modern-day crap you hear on WOKE radio stations.

FOOTNOTES:

[i] We began promoting the music of this legendary British blues-rock band, Ten Years After, beginning on Tuesday, 01-March-2011 through Thursday, 24-March-2011.  We hope you will check them out because their music is as important today as it was 50 years ago.  Their performance at Woodstock in 1969 made them megastars.

[ii] We shared the music of the Lovin’ Spoonful with the readership beginning on Saturday, 14-September-2013 through Tuesday, 24-September-2013.  At the time, we made the oversight of not sharing the music of John B. Sebastian with the readership so we do hope we come back around to promoting him sometime in the next 15 years or so.

Although that was questionable, he was in trouble for lying in the Paula Jones case as well as for suborning perjury in same which inevitable cost him big bucks as well as the right to practice law in his home state of Arkansas for a year.

[x] In 2019 at this point, we are not sure as to whether she will give it yet another go or will remain along the sidelines talking shit.

Meanwhile, in what many believe to be a terrorist attack conducted by ISIS, a car bomb explodes in Cairo, Egypt, killing 20 and injuring another 47 people.
  58. 2020 Tuesday: In Beirut, Lebanon, a tremendous blast felt as far as Cyprus, rips part of the port apart, killing between 75-100 people and injuring another 2,700-3,500.
  59. 2020 Tuesday A: Here are today’s Xi Jinping Bat Flu Statistics for the globe: 18,380,616 confirmed cases, UP by 241,178 cases, 691,740 confirmed deaths, UP by 1,167 deaths, and 10,973,850 confirmed recoveries, UP by 220,035 recoveries.
  60. 2020 Tuesday B: Next, in the three states in which, the world-famous American Institute of Culinary Politics-The Elemental News of the Day employs chef-authors, California, Hawaii, and Washington, here are the stats, Golden State first: 519,427 confirmed cases, 9,501 confirmed deaths, but as is the norm, NO mention of confirmed recoveries.
  61. 2020 Tuesday C: Here are today’s Stock Market closes: DOW Jones Industrial Average: 26,828.47, UP 164.07 points (+0.62%).
  62. 2020 Tuesday D: Dr.
  63. 2020 Tuesday E: One teachers union after another around the country are making demands before they will return that range from soaking the wealthy, adopting the Green New Deal, abolishing the police, equipping every home with a computer and Internet access, and loads of other stupidity.

#ST0001.1w Slow Motion #23 07-02-2020 (400)

Supertramp released its final studio album, “Slow Motion” on April 23, 2002.   The band now featured Rick Davies (keyboards, vocals, harmonicas), John Anthony Helliwell (saxophones, flutes, vocals), Cliff Hugo (bass), Mark Hart and Carl Verheyen (guitars, backing and lead vocals), and Bob Seibenberg (drums and percussion) along with a few others to add seasoning to the music.  Any band with a more than two-decade (or more) history undergoes changes, sometimes for the best, others for the worst, but this is a welcome return to the sound that made them monsters of the music tours back in the day.  We know you are going to enjoy this fine recording so please, seek for it now and add it to your collection- you will be glad you did.

AAA. 2017: Embarking on his first foreign trip as commander-in-chief, President Donald J. Trump arrives in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Following a successful world tour, the new Pink Floyd released a double live album, the stunning “Delicate Sound of Thunder” on November 21, 1988. The band performed early and current tunes and folks, do not let anyone criticize the David Gilmour-led era of the band because there is nothing wrong with it whatsoever and in fact, people poured out to see them perform live. This album is definitely one every fan of the band and of its original members should own. We know you will enjoy it so please seek it out, give it a listen, and add it to your collection; you will be glad you did.
