Following a successful world tour, the new Pink Floyd released a double live album, the stunning “Delicate Sound of Thunder” on November 21, 1988. The band performed early and current tunes and folks, do not let anyone criticize the David Gilmour-led era of the band because there is nothing wrong with it whatsoever and in fact, people poured out to see them perform live. This album is definitely one every fan of the band and of its original members should own. We know you will enjoy it so please seek it out, give it a listen, and add it to your collection; you will be glad you did.

  57. 2020 Friday A: Meanwhile, in the world of the Kung Flu- the Chinese Virus, COVID-19, confirmed cases globally are 3,938,828; confirmed deaths are 274,655, and confirmed recoveries are 1,319,306 which is extremely good.  In the United States, we have 1,317,175 confirmed cases, 78,198 confirmed deaths, and 182,305 confirmed recoveries which most likely would be far higher if liberal states reported them.  California claims 63,698 confirmed cases and 2,711 confirmed deaths (with no info on confirmed recoveries).  Hawaii claims 629 confirmed cases, 17 deaths but 566 confirmed recoveries.  Meanwhile, Washington state notes 16,388 confirmed cases and 905 confirmed deaths but no notation as to the confirmed recoveries.  It is interesting to note that New York Governor Andrew Cuomo caused more than 4,000 deaths in nursing homes statewide by forcing them to house COVID-19 positive patients with rest home patients.  He will face justice himself for this outrage.
  58. 2020 Friday B: Due to China’s ‘gift to the world,’ COVID-19, aka the Wuhan Virus Crisis, 20.5 million U.S. jobs were lost in the month of April alone, driving unemployment to nearly 15-percent, a number not seen since the days of the Great Depression.  Communist China must pay for this outrage and it’s high time the United States begins pushing for a resumption of the Two-China Policy by demanding Taiwan be returned to the United Nations as a FULL member with its original seat on the Security Council.

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

#PF001.1s The Wall #19 04-20-2020 (400)

Perhaps one of the most famous albums of its time, “The Wall,” by Pink Floyd came out on November 30, 1979.  A double LP concept album about a jaded rock-and-roll star, this album captivated the world but also began showing increasing stress between the members due to the constant cycle of touring-recording-touring-and-recording that drives most bands into the loony bin of history.  Roger Waters was growing tired with Rick Wright’s ‘lack of contributions’ to the songwriting and the friction grew to a boiling point that would cause the former to fire the latter.  Ah, well, things would be made right in a few years.  We hope you will seek this album out and consider adding it to your collection as it is as glorious now as it was 41 years or so ago.  Please, seek it out and enjoy as the title tune is one of the most memorable of all time.

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

#PF001.1i Music from the Body #9 04-19-2020 (400)

While on brief hiatus from the constant touring and recording of Pink Floyd, Roger Waters collaborated with Ron Geesin to record, “Music from the Body,” which is indeed, ‘music from the body’ in that it features guitars combined with every sound the body can create from belching, farting, slapping, whacking, you name it, the duo does it and to great effect as only a member of Floyd could and would do. We think everyone will find this interesting tidbit from November 28, 1970 well worthwhile so we encourage everyone to rush to their nearest site for the best in music and to pick it up and add it to your growing collection of the finest in rock (and other) music. You will enjoy it, to be sure.

[ii] Sadly, Detective was a short-lived band but one that had the potential to be as legendary as Led Zeppelin, if only Disco was not trashing the airwaves. You will find their three albums on: (1) Tuesday, 29-July-2014, (2) Thursday, 31-July-2014, and (3) Friday, 01-August-2014. We hope you will seek them out.

[iii] We hope to offer the music of Dire Straits sometime in 2021-2022. Please stay tuned.

[iv] Not sure when we will begin promoting the Amboy Dukes and Ted Nugent but we hope to do so within the next decade. Please stay tuned.

[v] We began promoting the music of Foghat, one of the all-time greatest rock bands to explode out of England, beginning on Monday, 18-February-2018 through Monday, 19-March-2018. We hope you will seek the music of this celebrated group out by checking out the blog posts on those dates.

[vi] We began promoting the music of both the Beatles and the band’s individual components on Friday, 04-November-2016 through Sunday, 11-June-2018. Besides the Beatles, we also promoted the music of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, and George Harrison as well as the Traveling Wilburys.

[vii] We expect to do the music of Jethro Tull, Wild Turkey, Ian Anderson, and Paris sometime in the next 5-6 years. We hope you will still be with us.

[viii] We hope to promote the music of this famous British band, T-Rex, sometime within the next five years.

[ix] We promoted the music of the Jefferson Airplane beginning on Tuesday, 05-April-2011 through Sunday, 22-May-2011. This presentation included the Jefferson Starship, too, of which, the artist was NOT a member.

[x] We first began offering the music of Fleetwood Mac on Monday, 03-January-2011 through Thursday, 27-January-2011. Please seek their music out by checking posts on those corresponding dates. We thank you.

A lifelong Democrat since age 18, after hearing Judge Kavanaugh on Thursday, I am walking away and will become a Republican- NO MORE

I will now say this to the Democrats: I am done with you as a party, I am joining the #WalkAway movement.  The Democrat Party- as long as it remains the diabolical piece of garbage that it has become with fervent, slobbering leftists at its helm, is dead to me.  I will work against every Democratic candidate in the state and will work long and hard to help elect Republicans.

FALL SESSION 2018

BLOG POST #2,891 AT THE AICP-END

THIRTY-NINE DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2018

I now believe Brett Kavanaugh 100-percent and am done with the Democratic Party of which, I have been a member since the age of 18

Pasadena, CA, 09-30-2018 Sunday: Friends, like the rest of America, I watched the disturbing events in the Senate Judiciary Committee unfold right from the very start.  We brought a television into the kitchen so the line cooks and sous chefs could see the farce we observed firsthand.  The older cooks said that Dr. Christine Blasey Ford was doing everything she could to sound like an innocent child victim, which they found to be untrue with some of them going so far as laughing at her, calling it a charade.

The younger crew members, the ones indoctrinated by the modern education system all expressed sympathy towards the psychology professor, which I found to be remarkable because in the era of young ‘non-men,’ meaning men who have had modern feminism cow them into being wimps and fearful of women, it concerns me how far the indoctrination has gone.  It is not good.

I also do not accept the ‘little girl voice’ Dr. Ford used during the hearing, I mean, I have known some women like that but to be honest, most of them were or are vamps (I like that word) who throw their sexual wiles in a man’s face while talking in that phony voice.  Anyone recall how Marilyn Monroe sounded when she spoke?  It was all a put-on, which I believe women believe is enticing but to most men, it is highly irritating.

Whereas Dr. Ford was somewhat ‘emotional,’ which in many ways seemed well-rehearsed, when Judge Brett Kavanaugh came before the committee and gave his opening statement, the anguish, the stress, and the torment on his face and in the flexion of his voice demonstrated that this Soviet-style proceeding has affected his family and him deeply, painfully, a seeping wound that will linger with them throughout their entire lives.

His wife, his daughters, all members of his family will suffer emotional damage and most likely will never look at the world the same after this.  The Democrats are the EVIL ones here, not Judge Kavanaugh as they claimed he was and would be.

I feel for the judge, there is nothing that will ever dissuade me from believing his rebuttals, his denials, nothing the Democrats could say short of producing a blue-stained dress from 36 years ago that the Doctor might have kept in her closet for this future purpose.  Bull crap.

After the election, I will change my registration to Republican.  Republican.  I will change it to Republican because no one in the Democratic Party represents my interests.  I do not condone the politics of personal destruction, I do not condone nor do I approve of my former party going after judicial nominees, presidents, and others because their views differ from what used to be ours.

I see now the tactics of Saul Alinsky, Lenin, Mao, and Stalin.  I see the tactics of the far left that seeks to foist a communist-style government down our throats via groupthink, intimidation, persecution, and vilification.

The fact that the Democrats went out and beat the bushes searching for Dr. Christine Blasey Ford- a woman who can fly all over the place and yet, remains terrified of flying to Washington DC to testify against the man whom she says now ‘raped her?’  What a load of crap.

This is not how American politics should work.  Yes, we can debate issues, we can have all manner of variations within our politics but when the leaders of a party are so angry, so hostile to its opponents that they will say things, do things, claim things that could cause someone or a member of his or her family to suffer violence all because of the crap they say, that is not good.

The Democrats- if they are smart (which I do not believe them to be) must begin separating from one another and leaving the Democratic members of the Senate Judiciary Committee because those up for a vote in November are going to lose their seats, Dianne Feinstein, guaranteed.

At one time, I accepted Senator Feinstein as a ‘good Democrat’ whereas now, I see her for the cretin that she is, someone with no scruples who will use any bull crap evidence to ruin a good man- ruin a good man– all because they fear him from winning a seat on the Supreme Court.

Senator Feinstein is going to lose her seat.  My family and I will work long and hard to guarantee it.  Others such as Cory Booker and Kamala Harris will suffer blowback for being the worthless scumbags they are.

Moreover, we cannot reward people who are so corrupt, so devious, so evil that they will trash good people.  If Democrats want to put people on the Supreme Court, then I say you must begin winning elections.  Sadly, the party offers nothing but division and lifelong dependence.

This is where we shall conclude my second week of the year.  As someone soon to be a former Democrat, do not continue voting for this horrible party unless you are ignorant, uneducated, a Marxist, or plain evil as they represent no one else among a civilized population.  I am done.

See you next year when I hope things will continue improving and we will begin recovering ground from these a-hole Democrats of whom I have been a member since turning 18.

God bless America, God bless Judge Kavanaugh, and God bless all of you.

The Grateful Dead’s one-hundred-and-twenty-sixth album of sorts as it’s a solo effort by Robert Hunter, Jerry Garcia’s lyricist which is entitled, “Tales of the Great Rumrunners,” and it was released in 1974. This is an album of Hunter’s music and was a part of his individualistic career alongside the Dead.  We love it and think you will, too, so go out and buy it by using the handy link to Amazon.com, the world’s largest online retailer and get it now! You won’t be disappointed!  Thank you, the Elemental News of the Day.
