Trump abruptly fired worthless FBI Director James Comey, ousting the nation’s top law enforcement official in the midst of an FBI investigation into whether Trump’s campaign had ties to Russia’s meddling in the election that sent him to the White House.  Two years later, it appears that Comey was involved in a scheme the Democrats and the Deep State engineered first to prevent the election of Trump and then to remove him via a coup.  We are awaiting Comey to be charged along with James Clapper, John Brennan, Sally Yates, Peter Strzok and his girlfriend Lisa Page, and numerous other scumbags involved in this ever-evolving crime.  Meanwhile, Governor Ahok of Jakarta, a Christian, is given a two-year sentence for ‘blasphemy’ seeing as how Indonesia is a predominantly Muslim nation.
  63. 2018 Wednesday: According to On This Day, the Supreme Court of India has some major criticism for the government department responsible for archaeological preservation because they did little to nothing to prevent the discoloration of the iconic Taj Mahal- the only ‘wonder’ left of the ‘Seven Wonders of the World’- as well as the build-up of green slime in the historic site.  Meanwhile, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and the Iranian people go ballistic after President Trump declares the U.S. is pulling out of the multinational nuclear deal signed during the Obama administration.  Screw ‘em!
  64. 2019 Thursday: Off the coast of Tunisia, a boatload of migrants fleeing Libya capsizes, drowning at least 65 of the passengers, according to the United Nations.  The best way to avoid mishaps such as this is migrants: stay where you are.  Elsewhere, the U.S. Navy seizes a North Korean freighter in the East China Sea, loaded with coal for Indonesia which is against the sanctions imposed upon the former for its nuclear programs and weapons tests.
  65. 2020 Saturday: Around the world, the “Chinese Curse,” aka COVID-19, aka the “Chinese Virus,” aka the Wuhan Virus Crisis, aka the Wuhan Flu, aka the Kung Flu, continues claiming lives and destroying economies and yet, communist China protests anyone calling it the “Chinese Virus,” which it is so Beijing, STFU.  Confirmed cases around the world stand at 4,004,224, confirmed deaths stand at 277,860, and confirmed recoveries at 1,348,288.  In the United States, confirmed cases are 1,138,643, confirmed deaths are 79,373, and confirmed recoveries are 189,912 (which is an incomplete number as the liberal states tend to keep this statistic close to their vests so they can continue this unconstitutional lockdown order a la Michigan and Gov. Gretchen Whitmer.   California acknowledges 64,532 confirmed cases and confirmed deaths at 2,630 BUT NO NUMBER of confirmed recoveries.  Meanwhile, Hawaii claims 629 confirmed cases, 17 confirmed deaths, and 548 confirmed recoveries.  Up in Washington state where one of our colleagues lives, works, and writes, the number of confirmed cases is 16,388 with confirmed deaths at 905.  Sadly, Gov. Jay Inslee won’t release the numbers of confirmed recoveries.   Moving on to communist China, Beijing continues to wail they have 88,423 (same number) confirmed cases what with 4,633 confirmed deaths and 81,785 confirmed recoveries.  My, my, my, why continue to lie, People’s Republic of China?
  66. 2020 Saturday A: In Tullahoma, Oklahoma, famed rock-and-roller, Little Richard, died at age 87.  Little Richard[vi] was famous for so many songs but “Lucille,” “Tutti-Frutti,” and “Good Golly, Miss Molly” are the ones that leap out.  Check him out.

  68. 2021 Sunday A: Note: since Joe Biden became president on January 20, 2021, there have been 279,996 chi-vi deaths in the United States- feeble old Joe, by the end of the year, you will have tied the total number witnessed by the Trump administration in nearly a year of the rampaging coronavirus pandemic.    Under President Trump’s watch, there were 404,078 fatalities from the Chi-Com Bat Virus. Currently, Joe is shy 182,613 deaths.

  73. 2021 Sunday F: Joe Biden’s Border Catastrophe– The Biden regime has hired 17 new immigration judges to staff the overflowing immigration courts.  These very same judges were offered the same roles under the Donald J. Trump administration.   Speaking of Joe Biden, his regime is considering granting permanent citizenship AND social services to illegal aliens separated at the border by the evil 45th president.
  74. 2021 Sunday G: Political News I– Rep. Andy Biggs, 5th congressional district, says that new evidence shows the FBI has been lying to Congress.   We’ve known that for a long time.  Next, Senator Ben Sasse, RINO-NE, is going to introduce legislation that will permit the repurposing of unemployment benefits into hiring bonuses to get everyone to return to work instead of sitting at home and being good little socialists, drawing benefits.   Next, the NCAA is in discussions with the Department of Justice (WHY?) over the new plan of allowing student athletes to make money from their names, likenesses, and apparel.  They should have been able to have done this for a long time.
  75. 2021 Sunday H: Political News II– The U.S. Department of Justice is preparing to make a ruling as to whether criminals sent home to house arrest during the Chi-Com pandemic will have to return to prison or not.  Spoiler alert- YOU KNOW the DOJ will cut them all loose.  Just saying.   In other news, NASA is blasting the Chi-Coms over their unprofessional behavior in being unable to control the re-entry of their 22-ton Long March rocket that crashed just west of the Maldives into the Indian Ocean early this morning.  The flipping Chi-Coms.  Like the Soviets, communist simply do not give a flying f**k about the lives and property of other human beings.

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

The Beach Boys are one of those American success stories, one that NO one at the time had any idea as how far it would go.  Dennis Wilson loved surfing and brought that love of riding the waves home with him.  Brother Brian- inspired by his brother started writing tunes.  A talented, musical family, Brian played bass, piano, and sang while older brother Dennis played drums and could sing.  Youngest brother Carl could play guitar, and their sad started seeing money signs although he was abusive as hell and put them down every opportunity he had.  Mike Love joined his cousins on vocals while neighbor David Marks joined on rhythm guitar and vocals.  Brian could hear all the harmonies in his head and soon the group began to form and chose the name, ‘the Beach Boys.’  Their first album, “Surfin’ Safari” came out on October 01, 1962, and it set the world on fire.  One of the oldest American rock groups, the Beach Boys touched off the California sun and surf craze.  The songs were pretty simple but hey, it was the early 1960s, the Vietnam War was not yet in motion, anything was possible and so it was.  Thus, we have some classic tunes on this album, “Surfin’ Safari,” “409,” and “Surfin’.”  Great music if there ever was which set the world ablaze and put the members of the band on one of the all-time crazy roller-coaster rides.  We hope you will seek this album out and consider adding it to your growing collection.  You will be glad you did.

  86. 2021 Wednesday L: After the House votes on H.R. 1 this evening, the so-called, “For the People Act” which will forever allow Democrats to steal elections from the White House to the collector of roadkill, they are going to flee town claiming FEAR over this bogus, ginned-up, Democratic-Socialist-manufactured looming assault on the U.S. Capitol tomorrow.   The FBI Director Chris Wray said recent intel suggests evil white militia, supremacists, and other human fecal matter are going to assault the Capitol TOMORROW.  With fences and walls up all over the place and with National Guard troops still capable of doing their duty after many received tainted food and became ill, what do Democrats fear?  An airborne drop atop the Capitol like it’s a “Red Dawn” movie?  WTF?
  87. 2021 Wednesday M: FOR ALL THOSE WHO BELIEVED JOE BIDEN WOULD NOT MIRE US IN ANOTHER MIDDLE EASTERN WAR, well, you are STUPID.  The U.S. is now warning ‘terrorists’ in the Middle East that there will be retaliatory airstrikes on ‘terrorist’ assets in the region.  Joe Biden promised NO new wars and in less than 50 days, the military lobbyists, the Military-Industrial Complex, and fat cat politicians heavily invested in military industries, war is coming to a place near YOU.  Thank you, you stupid f**k Democrats!

  89. 2021 Wednesday O: The Democrats passed their sweeping ‘Voting Rights Act’ bulls**t bill, one that will give 16-year-olds the right to vote.  Folks, people shouldn’t be voting until they are in their thirties now, they don’t mature until well into their thirties and yet, Democrats want everyone to vote.  The House Republicans stood against, but we will say this: the Democrats genuinely believe they are making themselves untouchable, but you know, the Fates have a way of coming back around and biting disbelievers on their asses.  It’s going to be fun watching the Dems toppled by their own stupidity.  Do you think YOUNG people want fossils like Nancy Pelosi, Steny Hoyer, James Clyburn, Chuck Schumer, and other senile old, mummified idiots calling the shots?  You better think again…

The fourth album by the Band- “Cahoots”- came out on September 15, 1971, and would see the band beginning to slide a bit from the pinnacle they rapidly had climbed over the preceding years.  The album contained one bona fide hit- “Life is a Carnival”- but would not chart as well as the preceding three.  The band features the same quintet of Rick Danko (bass, vocals, and fiddle), Robbie Robertson (guitars and vocals), Levon Helm (drums, percussion, vocals, mandolins, and tambourines), Richard Manuel (pianos, organs, and vocals), and Garth Hudson (keyboards and saxophones).  We hope you will seek it out wherever you shop for the best in music because we love it and know that you will, too, especially with all the add-ons one gets as a bonus to the original tracks.  Enjoy.

GG. 1954 Sunday: The Battle of Dien Bien Phu has ended. Some portions of the camp without contact with the others continued to fight until overrun by the enemy. The French Foreign Legionnaires holding Isabelle tried to make a breakout but the going was slow, the resistance great, and so Colonel Lalandé told his remaining troops to lay down their arms. The fight was over.

  59. 2014 Friday: For the first time since annexing the Crimea, Russian President Vladimir Putin visits the region on the holiday commemorating the Soviet victory over Nazi Germany.  Who will stop this murderous POS?  Meanwhile, the South Korean military announces that three drones that penetrated its airspace came from North Korea.
  60. 2015 Saturday: After a period of 42 days with NO new Ebola cases, which is twice the normal quarantine rate, the UN Health Organization declares the outbreak of the dreaded virus in the African nation of Liberia to be at an end.  During the outbreak, about 4,700 people died from the horrendous disease.   Elsewhere, the North Koreans claim to have successfully test-fired a missile from a submarine.
  61. 2016 Monday: London Mayor Boris Johnson resigns from office and Muslim Sadiq Khan takes his place, becoming the first Muslim mayor of a major Western city.   Elsewhere, in Baquba, Iraq, a ISIS car bombing claims the lives of 50 poor souls while injuring another 54 or so.  What the hell is wrong with these people?  Animals.
  62. 2017 Tuesday: President Donald J.
  66. 2021 Sunday: Stick around and find out along with us…

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

The next album released by Badfinger was “Wish You Were Here,” which came out on November 15, 1974 and is considered by many to be among the band’s best works.  The lineup featured the same quartet- Pete Ham (lead and backing vocals, lead guitar, and keyboards), Tom Evans (lead and backing vocals, bass guitar), Joey Molland (rhythm and lead guitars, lead and backing vocals), and Mike Gibbins (drums and percussion, backing and lead vocals)- and had there not been troubles between Warner Bros. and the band’s publishing company, it might have had an opportunity to shine.  However, after several weeks on the shelves of record stores, the legal squabbles caused the management at Warner Bros. to yank it from sale.  Lucky people would be able to find it and then years later, expanded versions would become available and would become extremely popular with fans.  We hope you will seek this one out and give it a good shot at becoming a regular portion of your song lists.  Check it out.

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

#PF001.1t Fictitious Sports #20 04-20-2020 (400)

Drummer and percussionist for Pink Floyd- Nick Mason- recorded an album of his own, “Nick Mason’s Fictitious Sports,” which came out on May 03, 1981.  Numerous musical friends joined him and one, vocalist Robert Wyatt of Soft Machine, contributed the vocals.  Solo albums by drummers being what they are, the main artist many times is dependent on those supporting him so it is what it is.  We hope you will seek this one out and consider adding it to your collection as a ‘rarity.’  We think you will enjoy it as much as we do.

Bryan Ferry released his next solo effort in 1987, the monumental, “Bête Noir.” As with his preceding solo efforts, the album featured a ‘cast of thousands,’ all top-quality musicians who helped the vocalist create a stunning effort. Say what you will about Ferry, the man has a style reminiscent of no one else and yet blazes the way for many artists who seek to emulate him. If you love the man, this is a must-have effort for all fans, which is why we urge you to look for it wherever you buy the finest rock music on the planet. You will be glad you did. We thank you.

Just the Facts: tragically, the Democrats STILL have but one play in their bag of tricks, a time-honored one: labeling ALL opponents as RACISTS

Most people want to be happy. They do not go seeking problems with other people unless they truly are warped in some way or another. That is why when a few miscreants decide to march along city streets carrying Nazi flags or KKK banners, it is so outrageous because of instead of being the norm- as once was the case in the United States- it now is contrary to the norm- which is why it’s so mind-blowing when we have the misfortune to ACTUALLY witness it.

SPRING SESSION 2019

BLOG POST #3,112 AT THE AICP-END

545 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2020

What is it with Democrats and with calling everyone ‘racist?’

Bakersfield, CA, 05-09-2019 Thursday:  Does it ever end?  Look, I try to be an independent, voting for whomever I believe is going to do the best job.  However, the Democrats are causing me to want to run to the commode, vomit my guts, and swear off idiocy forever.  I thought perhaps Joe Biden might offer something new but I guess you can take a horse to a new trough of water, expecting him to drink, and nope, that old horse is going to want to go back to the old well, even though it’s tainted and continue guzzling there.

Old Joe Biden, he cannot get his muzzle out of the well of racism.  I guess, like his fellow Democrats, when the guy you are trying to beat continues forging ahead like a steamroller- and God bless him for doing so- they want to bang to the drum of racism, racism, and still more racism because in the good old days of Democratic politics, labeling your enemies as racists always seemed to work.  No longer!

If anything, it is turning off a large segment of the American electorate.  Yes, at one time, racism was a big problem, an embarrassing one, but being unable to find a large contingent of racists to flog, the Dems have to go out and create new racists.  Sort of like how Jussie Smollett had to go out and pay his two Nigerian butt buddies to go out and buy some red baseball caps, purchase a sorry excuse for a rope, and then go out and accost the little punk on a cold, snowy Chicago morning and then go “wah-wah-wah” to the cops crying, “MAGA voters beat me up but let me keep my Subway sandwich!”

I am telling you, if MAGA supporters were out there lurking in the frostbitten cold of America’s Murder Capital and managed to stumble across Mr. Smollett as he traipsed along with his sandwich in one hand and his cellphone in the other- with his manager on the other end- and ran into a pair of crazed Trump voters, they would have shoved his sandwich where the sun don’t shine- and Little Jussie probably would have enjoyed it.

The problem is, most people in this country are no longer racist.  They have either been beaten into submission by modern society or have found that miscegenation ain’t such a terrible thing and begun squeezing Hawaiian-style rainbow bread buns out of the sizzling bun oven.

What I am saying is this: in my travels around the country on American Culinary Federation business here and there, to various food shows and conventions, I see more intermixed couples with intermixed kids that if you asked me to find some good old fashioned racists, I would be hard-pressed to do so- even if my life counted on it.

Most people want to be happy.  They do not go seeking problems with other people unless they truly are warped in some way or another.  That is why when a few miscreants decide to march along city streets carrying Nazi flags or KKK banners, it is so outrageous because of instead of being the norm- as once was the case in the United States- it now is contrary to the norm– which is why it’s so mind-blowing when we have the misfortune to ACTUALLY witness it.

The Democrats- on the other hand- still live ‘back in the day.’  They live in a time when the DEMOCRATS- and not everyone else- were the racists.  The Democrats waged war to maintain the institution of slavery.  The Democrats waged war against civil rights.  The Democrats waged war to keep minorities down, Jews in fear, Papists away from where they lived until they decided that it was far more conducive for their political agenda to label OTHER people as racists and then wage war on them.  Talk about misdirection!

Ergo, WHY it is so painful to hear old “Groping Joe” Biden out there calling the GOP a bunch of racists.  Enough, Joe, enough.  I cannot take it anymore, find something else to attack your enemies over but stop will calling everyone racists.

You- in your advanced case of somnolence, Old Joe, do not see the damage you and other Democrats are causing.  I saw some dope on Tucker Carlson’s show Monday night telling the host that ‘in the last election down in Georgia and Florida hundreds of thousands of ballots were tossed in the trash can because the votes came from minority voters.’  Say the f**k what?

I do not know about you, Joe, and your fellow Democrats, but most everyone I see working in polling stations are people of color, women, some gays, hell, even some transgenders.  They hand my wife and I our ballots, do so with courtesy, tell us where to go, then we hand our pens back to other election workers and stick our ballots into the awaiting receptacles.  It never crosses our minds that they are tossing them in the trash- because they surely don’t.

Yet, there’s Old Joe telling a small crowd in Iowa earlier in the week that ‘numerous states have passed laws, 70 in fact (or so he said) that seek to repeal right to vote laws, meaning they are designed to remove the right to vote from non-white people.’

Joe, again, WTF?  You are doing damage to our country saying this outrageous stuff.  You and your Democrat buddies are causing problems that we fixed long ago.  Moreover, you are sowing doubt into our electoral system.  You are causing people to wonder if ALL elections- unless, of course, Democrats win- in doubt.  This is not good.  This is not right.  You people MUST look at what you are doing and stop the insanity.  It is too much and it simply must stop.

This upcoming election is going to be a doosie.  I hope it’s a landslide for Trump.  Serves the Democrats right.

See you tomorrow.

FEATURED ALBUM OF THE DAY:

Steve Hackett (guitars/bass/harmonica/vocals) went into the studio with his collaborator Nick Magnus (keyboards) and a group of musicians from where he was living off and on in Brazil.  “Till We Have Faces” came out on August 08, 1983.  As an artist, Hackett was evolving all the time and this album featured elements of rock as well as world music.  If you are as interested in this musician and his many talents, this is an album you need to search out, give a listen to, and perhaps add to your collection.  You will be happy you did.

Once again, the rhythm section of the James Gang had to recruit another guitarist to carry on.  In the meantime, they released a ‘best of’ compilation on May 19, 1973, “Sixteen Greatest Hits.”  Included on this effort were the crème de la crème of the band’s discography, mostly featuring Joe Walsh so what the heck.  Still, if you have yet to get in on the ground floor of this historic band, this is the method you employ so you can do it.  Please, seek it out at your favorite site for CDs and records; you will be glad you did.

Jeff Beck released his next album, an amazing live effort on June 07, 2010, “Live and Exclusive from the Grammy Museum.”  Joining him were a strong trio of musicians: Jason Rebello (keyboards), Rhonda Smith (bass), and Narada Michael Walden (drums).  As always, the artist rises to the top of the heap having some of the most amazing licks, chops, and jams.  Add to that the fact that the man is into his fourth decade of fingering the frets and to have been there to see it would have been one for the memory books.  Please, use whatever site you visit for the best in rock music and get it- it is worth the price.
