Syd Barrett’s record company released an archival effort on March 20, 2004, “The Radio One Sessions,” an album from a British music show, John Peel’s Top Gear Show that featured the complete show plus three other tunes heretofore unreleased.  Here the artist, joined by David Gilmour (bass) and Jerry Shirley (drums) performs eight songs from his first two solo albums.  No one ever knew for sure what they would get with Barrett but here, he delivers a good set and as a blast from the past, this one is definitely worth seeking out and adding to your collection.  You will indeed enjoy it.  We thank you.

  47. 2020 Friday: COVID-19 continues racking up numbers; however, with all the riots in the streets in various nations around the United States regarding the murder of George Floyd at the hands of the Minneapolis cops, people are NOT social distancing nor are they wearing masks to protect themselves from the Chinese Virus; no, they are wearing them to protect their identities as they slander the memory of the murdered man by looting and burning down businesses, at least 130 as of this moment. They also burned down brand-new low-income housing leaving the residents of the community out in the streets.
  48. 2020 Friday A: Here are the global statistics for the Wuhan Virus Crisis, aka the Chinese Bat Flu: 5,885,490 confirmed cases, 363,061 confirmed deaths, and 2,468,011 confirmed recoveries. In the United States, here are the national stats: 1,779,204 confirmed cases, 104,007 confirmed deaths, and 382,023 confirmed recoveries. As you know, the American Institute of Culinary Politics-The Elemental News of the Day has chef-authors in three U.S. states: California, Hawaii, and Washington. Here are the stats for the Golden State: 103,886 confirmed cases, 4,068 confirmed deaths, BUT ONCE AGAIN, NO MENTION OF confirmed recoveries. In Hawaii, these are the stats: 647 confirmed cases, 17 confirmed deaths, and 604 confirmed recoveries. Finally, in the Evergreen State, here are the (questionable) stats: 21,013 confirmed cases, 1,111 confirmed deaths, but like California, NO MENTION as to confirmed recoveries which informs the serious reader that it’s all about politics.
  49. 2020 Friday B: President Trump tells the World Health Organization that we will no longer be donating to this bought-and-paid-for-organization of Beijing. Of course, liberals are screeching and wailing over this in the same way they are trying to blame President Trump for what is taking place in Minnesota and across the country regarding George Floyd. He also puts communist China on notice that IF they continue trying to crackdown on Hong Kong during the Bat Flu Virus Crisis, they will find the United States opposing them and their authoritarian policies (FREE Hong Kong! FREE Tibet! FREE Macau! FREE Taiwan! FREE Mainland China!). Liberals are wailing over this, too. Regarding Minnesota, the cop who had a major role in murdering Mr. Floyd- former Officer Derek Chauvin- was taken into custody today and charged with murder.
  50. 2020 Friday C: Not only in Minneapolis, Minnesota, riots break out across the nation, in Brooklyn, in Dallas, in Phoenix, in Atlanta, even in Bakersfield, California, home to the AICPENDBLOG.COM.  Outside the White House, hostile crowds continue battling with uniformed Secret Service officers, dressed in riot gear.  Chef Lilah Paulikovich says that “IF you do not believe that the collusion between the Democratic Party and communist China does not exist, how are these well-funded, inorganic, well-coordinated riots occurring?  It is a concerted effort to make President Trump look as bad as possible and a sign that the summer of 2020 is going to resemble the summer of 1968.  Still, President Trump will win re-election and it is interesting to note that it’s Blue States and Blue Cities where rioting is occurring.  Law enforcement: your sacred duty is to protect life and property: start busting heads.

#PF001.2n In the Flesh #40 05-08-2020 (400)

Roger Waters released his next album, “In the Flesh,” on December 05, 2000. This is a live album featuring music from both the Floyd as well as from his solo catalog, all compiled from a lengthy three-year tour. There is no denying that Mr. Waters is not one of the most talented, most accomplished singer-songwriter-poet-player and it’s always nice hearing him perform his tunes, both from the Floyd catalog as well as from his solo one. The man has a superb band accompanying him and if you close your eyes and open your ears, you almost think you are listening to Pink Floyd on a powerful night. We hope you will seek this album out and consider adding it to your catalog so you can enjoy for years to come. Believe us, you will love it.

#PM01.1f.1a 801 Live #6-A 08-19-16 (400)

Phil Manzanera released a live album from an experimental group in the 1970s called ‘801.’ The album, entitled, “801 Live” (1991), featured Phil on guitars, Brian Eno on multiple instruments, Bill McCormick (bass and vocals), Francis Monkman (keyboards), Simon Philips (drums), and Lloyd Watson (slide guitars/vocals). The interplay between the musicians was stellar and the band performed three exceptional shows. This album features one of those nights in one glorious place for fans of both Roxy Music and Manzanera and Eno to enjoy like proverbial ear candy. Please, visit Amazon.com where you can pick it up in the format, the condition, and the price that works best for you.

Original Beverly Carrick Artworks, Beverly Carrick—World Famous Artist, Mark Lindsay, Paul Revere and the Raiders, J.J. Cale, the Velvet Underground, The Move, Trevor Burton, Robin Trower, Procol Harum, Brad Delp, Boston, U.S. Supreme Court Associate Justice David Davis, U.S. Supreme Court Associate Justice Samuel Blatchford, El Chilote,

[i] We are unclear as to when we will begin promoting the music of Paul Revere and the Raiders but when we do, you will be among the first to know so please, remain attentive for that day. We thank you.

[ii] We began promoting the music of the Velvet Underground starting on Tuesday, 18-March-2014 through Wednesday, 09-April-2014. At the time we promoted this famous New York City rock band, we failed to share the music of the man himself, Lou Reed as well as his band mate, J.J. Cale. We hope to rectify that mistake when we return to promoting American bands again. Thank you for your patience.

[iii] We began promoting the music of both Procol Harum and Robin Trower along with Gary Brooker beginning on Monday, 16-March-2015 through Sunday, 31-May-2015. We hope you will seek them out and consider adding them to your growing music collection.

[iv] We promoted the music of Blossom Toes beginning on Monday, 01-June-2015 through Sunday, 07-June-2015. We hope you will seek them out and add them to your growing music collection.

[v] The music of this famed British band, Family as well as the spin-off group, Streetwalkers, appeared on Tuesday, 08-October-2013 through Thursday, 31-October-2013. Sadly, at the time, we failed to promote the music of both Axis Point as well as Roger Chapman’s solo catalog so we hope to correct those mistakes sometime within the next five years.

[vi] We began promoting the music of an interconnected group of bands including the Small Faces, Faces, and Rod Stewart beginning on Tuesday, 22-April-2014 through Tuesday, 01-July-2014. This was a massive undertaking of rock bands and solo artists so we hope you will seek them out and consider adding the music to your album collection.

[vii] We are hoping to begin doing the music of the Move, the Electric Light Orchestra, and Roy Wood’s Wizzard sometime in 2020, possibly 2021. We hope you will remain vigilant so you won’t miss them. We will keep everyone posted.

[viii] In 2020, Democrats are sobbing over how President Donald J. Trump is overturning President Barack Obama’s ‘accomplishments.’ Well, here we have an example of President Obama overturning one of President George W. Bush’s accomplishments, a significant one at that. It is what it is.

[ix] Not sure as to when we will promote the music of Boston but when we do, you will be the first to know.

WE THANK EVERYONE FOR JOINING US AT WORDPRESS.COM AND FOR AIDING US IN CONTINUING TO DO THE WORK WE TOOK UPON OURSELVES MORE THAN A DECADE AGO.

Phil Manzanera released his fifth solo album, “Southern Cross” in 1990. Always among the most eclectic and innovative guitarists in the world, Manzanera always attempted to play the guitar in ways in which, it did NOT sound as though it was a guitar. We love the second part of the Roxy Music triumvirate’s amazing guitar chops and this album rocks the socks off the uninitiated and sends the ‘initiated’ to the depths his roots as a young kid growing up in Venezuela and Cuba. Please, visit Amazon.com where you can pick it up in the format, the condition, and the price that works best for you.

Although not killing people outside of China, there have been some deaths here and there. It would make sense that liberal states around the nation would aid ICE in rounding up illegal aliens, housing the homeless, rehabilitating the drug-addicted, and cleaning up the streets. What is clear is that it behooves everyone to set their politics aside and to get together to stop the spread of this potentially deadly disease given to the world by the communist S-Hole country of China. Meanwhile, a mass shooting takes place in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, at a Molson Coors brewery operation. We believe five people are dead.

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

#PM01.1c Primitive Guitars #3 08-19-16 (400)

Phil Manzanera released his fourth solo album, “Primitive Guitars” in 1982.  Always among the most eclectic and innovative guitarists in the world, Manzanera always attempted to play the guitar in ways in which, it did NOT sound as though it was a guitar.  We love the second part of the Roxy Music triumvirate’s amazing guitar chops and this album rocks the socks off the uninitiated and sends the ‘initiated’ to the moon.  Please, look for this phenomenal musical offering as it is one for the ages.  Any modern crap you may have been duped into buying pales in comparison to the fist opening chords.  You will love it.

Just the Facts: with temperatures in the fifties and sixties in many parts of central California and with chem trails frequently crisscrossing the skies, people want to know WTF is going on?

My colleagues at the blog there have been working on a new project, compiling the daily temperatures, the rainfall, and the numerous chem trails that litter the sky over there. I will admit, I have been over there and also have been up north close to Sacramento, and the chem trails crisscross the sky yet no one ever asks what the heck is going on in the skies over them?

525 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2020

I agree with Chef Kilgore- something in the skies over much of Central California is not ‘right’

San Luis Obispo, CA, 05-29-2019 Wednesday:  I have to say…the weather in California along the central coastline, as well as over the mountains and in Bakersfield where the home of our blog is located, is mighty strange.  The coast is almost always beautiful, the weather nearly always good but in Kern County, beyond the mountains to the east, the weather there is extremely peculiar.  It has been in the low sixties, high fifties, once in a while, it’s up in the eighties, which is strange, very strange as the people living there typically are dealing with temperatures well into the nineties and over the century mark for 10-15-20 days at a crack.  In short, it’s damned ugly at times.

Just the Facts: Democrats are the ones working with the nation’s enemies, not President Trump which is why I hope all of you awaken to who is playing you- the Russians, the Chinese, the Iranians, and the NORCs are manipulating YOU

I now believe that the Democrats are on a course for total disaster and knowing them and how they think, they will once again trot out the idea that the ‘Russians had something to do with it.’ Adam Schiff won’t give it up, like a dog with a bone, a San Fran gay with a dong in his face, he won’t give it up but instead will double down and will seek to amass more. This is crazy and we must either drive these people out of office or we must make sure they never win another election.

SPRING SESSION 2019

BLOG POST #3,072 AT THE AICP-END

585 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2020

Our enemies are not stupid; no, they know exactly where to attack to set Americans against one another…

Pasadena, CA, 03-30-2019 Saturday:  Friends, as you know, I am a recent convert to conservatism, a ‘Neo-Con,’ if you will, and have had good reason to become one.  I spent my entire life living on the LEFT Coast, living among leftists and believed that being a Democrat was my defining quality in life.  As time progressed, I came to see that many of the things promoted by the left did not jive with my own conscience, I came to see that demanding abortion- especially late-term and now post-delivery- were abominations in the eyes of God Most Holy.

Again, as time swept by as it inexorably does, I saw that the renewed push for more and more socialism was something that threatened the very nation, imperiled its people, put our nation in grave danger, and that knowing what I know, I could no longer support nor fund through bountiful contributions this madness.

The biggest thing going on that drove the final nail into my conversion has been the push to drive Donald Trump from office using whatever means necessary with which to do it.  I have lived in a state of dread that the constant drumbeat- BOOM-BOOM-BOOM- would set some psycho off his or her rocker and would set them in motion for becoming a John Wilkes Booth.

Hell, we have people on my former side who wanted to emulate John Wilkes Booth, like failed actor Johnny Depp who asked a delirious crowd, “When was the last time an actor killed a president?” or some such flummery to that effect.  We cannot have people out there saying that ‘we must rid the nation of this president no matter what it takes.’  The president has done NOTHING to deserve what he has been getting, yet, he continues getting it.

Some voices among my former party claim they want to move on, especially since the Mueller Report found NO collusion and hence, no obstruction because without a crime to investigate, no one can obstruct justice if there is nothing to obstruct.

President Trump attacking Bob Mueller during the course of the investigation is no big deal because it is a time-honored thing that presidents do since the days of multiple investigations into President Bill Clinton.  The president and his minions attack the investigator to nullify whatever he might find or to silence him or her from finding anything of value to use against the sitting president.

Likewise, if there has been ANY Russian collusion, this is where I see things: the Russians are the ones funding the insanity by manipulating social media, by funding various PACs and candidates and campaigns through a variety of nefarious ways and means.  I contend, what better way to put Americans at one another’s throats than to insert the specter of foreign interference, race, and every other social issue that can tear our nation apart into our national discourse.

Moreover, we know the Russians hacked John Podesta’s email account because like most, he was unwary of how hackers go about their business.  I think that all of us have had our computers hacked at one time or another prior to becoming educated enough to recognize probing attacks for what they are.  Heck, most of us seldom open much email and when we see things ALERTING us to this or that, we know it’s all BS unless Lifelock is the one sending us the information and they generally make a phone call.

Friends, we must set aside our differences to recognize the real threat and the honest-to-God threat is indeed foreign intrusion into our country but not in the way that “Shifty” Adam Schiff believes it to be.

No, the Russians, the Chinese, and other enemies fund the forces seeking to divide us.  Oh, I do not believe they collude knowingly but PACs and politicians seldom look a donor or a financier in the mouth to see Vladimir Putin, Georgy Soros, or Xi Jinping leering back at them.

Our nation is riven by race, our nation is riven between two parties at war with one another, and our nation is riven by indoctrinated youthful generations who honestly believe our planet is in peril and that in twelve years- unless we go back to the Stone Age- is going to end.

What better way to destroy the greatest economy on the planet, one that is neutering the Russians, the Chinese, the North Koreans, the Iranians and a whole bunch of others via becoming the biggest producer and exporter of fossil fuels once again.

I would say to a moron such as Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, aka Baby Evita, aka AOC, that delve deeper into the lunacy you support and you will see the REAL REASONS behind why you believe the stupid crap that you do.  Leftist indoctrinate the youth knowing full well that when they take power as you have that you will work against the country unknowingly on behalf of our enemies.  Wake the f**k up.

See you tomorrow.  Have a great day.
