161. TODAY IN HISTORY—THURSDAY, JUNE 10, 2021

KKK. 2020 Wednesday: The left continues running amok across the United States thanks to the collusion between the Democratic Party and their communist masters in Beijing. Statues are being torn down, Antifa is taking over six-block swaths of Seattle and declaring their own independent totalitarian fiefdom. It will soon be time for the military to take to the streets and to begin cleaning up this low-life, socialist pond scum. Light ‘em up, President Trump, light ‘em up!

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

Jethro Tull returned on February 04, 1977 with the first album of a coming trio of English folk rock albums- “Songs from the Wood.”  Quintessentially British from start to finish, Jethro Tull returned to what they began as- blues and acoustic.  The band was now six members- Ian Anderson (vocals, flutes, guitars, keyboards), Martin Barre (guitars), John Glascock (bass), John Evan (keyboards), Barriemore Barlow (drums), and Dee Palmer (keyboards and synthesizers).  Critics sang the album’s praises which is always peculiar as it seems when critics get their teeth dug in, they hate to pull them out.  We hope you will seek this album out and make it a part of your listening day- we suspect you will like it.

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

Electric Light Orchestra released their fifteenth ‘best of’ compilation, “Live- the Early Years,” on May 14, 2009.  This one contains 23 classic tunes from the band’s earlier live shows through the 1970s.  To see ELO live was to see something extremely special, the band had created something no other group of the era had ever thought of or conceived, much less to have put in motion.  We think everyone is going to enjoy this fabulous album which is why we encourage everyone to check it out, give it a listen, and then add it to your growing collection of AICPENDBLOG.COM-approved albums.  You will be glad you did…

Here are the numbers for the United States: 5,159,740 confirmed cases, UP by 38,647 new cases, 165,118 confirmed deaths, UP by 477 new deaths, and 2,511,602 confirmed recoveries, UP by 13,023 new recoveries.   Next, in the three states in which, the world-famous American Institute of Culinary Politics-The Elemental News of the Day employs chef-authors, California, Hawaii, and Washington, here are the stats, Golden State first: 561,911 confirmed cases, 10,359 confirmed deaths, but as is the norm, NO mention of confirmed recoveries.  Next, here are the stats for the Aloha State: 3,498 confirmed cases, 31 confirmed deaths, and 1,548 confirmed recoveries.  Finally, in the Ever-Red, uh, we mean, the Evergreen State, here are the stats: 63,445 confirmed cases, 1,695 confirmed deaths, but like California, the slope-headed governor, Jay Inslee, won’t share the number of confirmed recoveries.  Shame on these flipping Democrats.
  58. 2020 Monday B: Here are today’s Stock Market closes: DOW Jones Industrial Average: 27,791.44, UP 257.96 points (+1.30%). Next, the NASDAQ: 10,968.36, DOWN 42.63 points (-0.39%).  Finally, here are the stats for the S&P 500: 3,360.47, UP 9.19 points (+0.27%).  Currently, GOLD is at $2,039.00 per troy oz., DOWN -0.70 (-0.03%), SILVER is at $29.36 per troy oz., UP 0.094 (0.32%), PLATINUM $1,006.10 per troy oz. UP +3.40 (+0.34%), and COPPER is at $2.87 # +0.005 (+0.34%).  Light Sweet Crude Oil is 42.00, UP +0.06 (+0.14%).  Today, one-dollar U.S. = 6.96 Chi-Com yuan. In contrast, one-dollar U.S. = 0.85 euros.
  59. 2020 Monday C: President Trump begins a press conference in the White House Press Room when an aide interrupts him and leads him away. Apparently shots were fired a few blocks from the White House.  Moments later, Secret Service had it under control and the president reappeared and continued his press conference.  He answered all questions and when done, exited the room. Currently, “Pro-China Joe” Biden leads the president in national polls by approximately 49.2-percent to the president’s 42.00-percent.
  60. 2020 Monday D: Speaking of the Chi-Coms earlier, the MSS begins arresting pro-democracy figures across Hong Kong, including arresting media mogul Jimmy Lai and his son, among others, as the communists begin implementing their new bogus ‘security law.’ The time is coming when the United States is going to have to give the commies in Beijing a major black eye.  How a return to the Two-China Policy by which, we recognize Taiwan as a free, independent nation, and the rightful ruler of the mainland.  FREE TAIWAN!  FREE HONG KONG!  FREE TIBET!  FREE MACAU!  FREE UIGHUR MUSLIMS!  DEATH TO COMMUNISM!
  61. 2020 Monday E: A U.S. military helicopter out of Joint Base Andrews was hit by groundfire over Middleburg, Va., today, wounding one crewmember aboard. The helicopter was forced to make an emergency landing at a regional airport in Manassas.  The FBI is investigating.  Meanwhile, over the weekend in Chicago, 34 people are shot, 3 of them fatally.  Will it never flipping end?  How long have Democrats controlled the Windy City?

Like his former colleagues in Supertramp, Roger Hodgson also went out on a 40th anniversary celebration tour which eventually showed up “Classics Live,” a superb album he released on May 12, 2010.  The effort features live classics he performed around the world which is always nice seeing as how he such a glorious artist that he is.  Joining the musician on this stirring album are Bryan Head (drums), Kevin Adamson (keyboards/backing vocals), Ian Stewart (bass), and Aaron MacDonald (saxophones/keyboards/backing vocals).  This is an exceptional effort; one we love and breathlessly promote which is why we know you will love it as much as we do.

Just the Facts: iF Democrats lose BIG in November, we must boot out Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Dianne Feinstein, and every other leader who has led our party to defeat after defeat after stinging defeat

Now, I know many people reading my post today are aghast, thinking I have sold out, thrown in the towel, and am a phony. Well, that is not the case, what is the case is HOW LONG do we continue following the same failed leaders who persist leading our party down the crapper? At what point do we begin breaking away, say, “NO MORE,” and begin promoting the next generation of Democratic politicians?

FALL SESSION 2018

BLOG POST #2,911 AT THE AICP-END

SEVENTEEN DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2018

If we lose BIG on November 6, we need to clean out the fossils leading our party to electoral disaster and go with a new crowd

Kihei, HI, 10-20-2018 Saturday: You know, BIG LIBERAL pollster Nate Silver told the American people days before the 2016 Presidential Election that Hillary Rodham Clinton was going to clobber Donald J. Goober by 71-percent.  Seventy-one percent.  SEVENTY-ONE PERCENT.  Then, on Election Night as votes continued rolling in, observers saw that something fishy and highly unexpected was going on, something no one projected as first one state and then another declared via its vote tallies for the New York real estate mogul and not for Hillary.  In fact, the Electoral College produced a massive win for now-President Goober and everyone on the left collapsed where they were, heads in hands, snot flowing down their faces, and cried like bawl-babies.

Now, the Democrats and our media allies continue telling us, “Not to worry, people, Democrats are going to sweep to victory in the House and will even up, if not overtake the Republican majority in the Senate and then we will put President Goober in a cage, dressed in an orange suit and will prod him with sticks and cattle prods.  “Dance you fraud, dance!”

Let me say this to everyone out there reading my post, absorbing my words.  I am a Democrat, I vote Democrat and only if I felt the fate of my country was in danger due to policies my party supported would I cross the aisle and vote for another party.

I have told you as long as we continue supporting violent mobs, hate groups, and anarchists, we are going to continue losing elections and if our elected leaders simply cannot put on one shoe and then another and tie double bowknots without having an aide do it, we are going to get blown out and will become even angrier.

Every time I watch TV news and I see that neurotic Nancy Pelosi flapping her gums about ‘how the Democrats are going to sweep to victory in November,’ my teeth begin grinding.  I think to myself, “What planet does this lolo reside on?  On Pluto?”

I think Nancy Pelosi is so far gone that if we lose another election cycle, I hope the Democrats still alive in the House will not only strip this old bag of being minority leader but will find a way to bust her down to being a low-level grub.

I would rather see someone on a par with Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard as the new leader of the Democratic Party in the House than a known loser who simply cannot interpret the tea leaves.

Likewise in the Senate, we have clueless Chuck Schumer, a far cry from the days of Harry Reid, someone President Donald J. Goober continues calling “Crying Chuck,” an apt nickname that fits him well.  Chuck Schumer is as big a loser as is Nancy Pelosi and if neither one can deliver the election results we Democrats crave on November 6, both of them must be stripped of whatever residual power they cling to.  Enough is enough.

Our party is becoming the party of old fogeys.  Not only do we have decrepit, slobbering Nancy Pelosi, we have Crying Chuck, two losers who deserve one another.

We have other mothballs like Elizabeth “I’m an Indian” Warren, we have known pedophile Bob Menendez of New Jersey, we have the ‘out to pasture’ Dianne Feinstein, and we have Claire McCaskill who blabbed away our secrets to undercover journalists who then outed everything our party plans to do.

If you want more signs of ageism, LOL, all one must do is to look at Donald J. Goober’s favorite go-to punching bag, the senile old Maxine Waters, a woman as stupid as that whelp from New York, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a Bernie Babe, who with a degree in economics could not fight her way out of a paper bag.

As for Bernie, we still love the guy in an avuncular sort of way; however, I think his schlock has long-since crumbled by the side of the road as once he accepted that multi-million dollar property in Vermont as a consolation prize for allowing Hillary Clinton and the Democratic Party to STEAL the election from him, he demonstrated that he is not a true man of the people but a bought-and-paid-for tool of the DNC.

I am beginning to think that we are going to lose next month because of the spinsters and the rocking chair failed fighters who seem to believe that ladling warm bull over us is the way to keep us pacified, on the reservation, and to continue opening our checkbooks and giving them our credit card numbers.  Nothing is ever going to change until our party puts forth an effort to throw out the detritus keeping it mired in failure.

As long as we continue defending a scumbag such as Keith Ellison, a proven woman beater while going after Brett Kavanaugh, a man who might be a rapist but of which, little to no proof exists other than from a strange woman who can remember hardly a detail of the event that changed her life, we are going to be seen as hypocrites.

I have no choice other than to vote Democrat in November as the ones we have here in Hawaii are pretty good, far better than the ones leading us on the Mainland.  If we lose another big election, however, I am going to have to review what my allegiance and financial support is getting me and if necessary, make a change and go somewhere else.

Just saying folks, just saying- see you tomorrow.

I must say I am amazed that the AICP-END Blog would send up-and-coming Bakersfield, California, street artist, the amazing Simone to Maui to do some photographic portraits of me.  We have moved in this direction since politics have turned millions of people against one another and it is important for us as employers and as private people with families to protect, that we begin covering our actual identities from those seeking to cause us problems.  I must say, Simone has done an outstanding job and this is a caricature of me that meets with my approval.  My husband and I live and own a restaurant in Kihei, Hawaii, and have also worked in institutional cooking at Maui’s premier hospital up in Wailuku.

FEATURED ALBUM OF THE DAY:

Although this next album by Trapeze came out later, we are putting it in chronological order, a great live album by the lineup that created “Hot Wire.”  The lineup featured Pete Wright (bass/vocals/piano), Mel Galley and Rob Kendrick (guitars/vocals), and Dave Holland (drums).  “Live at the Boat Club” is a 1975 recording, one we think that everyone is going to enjoy as this is a powerhouse live recording that demonstrates just how amazing this British rock band is.  We hope you will use the link we provide you here so you can pick it up in the format, the condition, and the price that works best for you- you will enjoy it.  The only place that can provide you an amazing deal is Amazon.com.  Go there now.

The Byrds delivered their follow-up to “Dr. Byrds and Mr. Hyde,” “The Ballad of Easy Rider” on November 10, 1969.  The band now consisted of Roger McGuinn (guitars/vocals), Clarence White (lead guitar/vocals), Gene Parsons (drums, guitars/banjo/vocals), and John York (bass/vocals).  This effort proved more successful than its predecessor and folks, there are great tunes on this album such as the unheralded “Gunga Din,” “Jesus is just Alright,” and “It’s all over Baby Blue.”  We urge everyone to use the link we provide you here so you can visit Amazon.com.  Once there, you can pick it up in the format, the condition, and the price that works best for you.

The Sons of Champlin released their next effort, the intriguing “The Sons of Champlin” in 1975.  The lineup had, of course, undergone change but here it is: Bill Champlin (guitars/keyboards/vocals), Terry Haggerty (guitars), Geoffrey Palmer and Mark Isham (saxophones and horns), David Shallock (bass), and Jim Preston and Bill Vitt (drums).  Please, use the link we provide you here so you can go to Amazon.com and pick it up in the format, the condition, and the price that works best for you; it’s a powerful addition to your burgeoning record collection.
