  26. 1941 Friday: War is approaching the United States although they don’t know it yet.  Japan’s government is undergoing a shakeup in its cabinet as some of its members wish to trash the neutrality pact they have with the Soviet Union, join the Nazis in assaulting Russia, and hitting the Bolsheviks from both sides.  Others think this would be a mistake, that some sort of accommodation can be made with the United States to keep oil supplies and raw materials flowing in so they can crush the Chinese.   Eventually, they will lose out on both as the Soviets will survive the year and the Americans will cut off their supplies thus bringing about the attack on Pearl Harbor in just FIVE short months.  Had they invaded Asiatic Russia, the Soviets would have been destroyed.

  29. 1944 Tuesday: Emperor Hirohito’s government removed Japanese Premier Hideki Tojo from his post due to setbacks suffered by their country during World War II.  Meanwhile, in Nazi-controlled Europe, American forces fighting in France captured the important Normandy town of St. Lo.  On the Eastern Front, the Soviets are pushing hard at the Germans.  The Germans are clinging to positions in the western portion of the Soviet Union but the heady days of 1941 are long since gone and the Germans are the ones being encircled and crushed.

  51. 2013 Thursday: Detroit, Michigan, files the largest municipal bankruptcy in the history of the world and seeks Chapter 9 Bankruptcy Protection on its debt of $18.5 billion.  It is interesting to note that Democrats have controlled the city for nearly 60 years yet they blame everyone else for their stupidity.  People of Michigan- time to start electing a full slate of Republicans.  Elsewhere, Russian freedom fighter Alexei Navalny is convicted of embezzling from a Putin-controlled timber company.
  52. 2014 Friday:  Forbes Media, controlled by the Forbes family, is selling a majority interest in the business to Integrated Whale Media Investments, based in Hong Kong; the deal is expected to provide Forbes with greater international exposure.   Meanwhile, the U.N. 55. 2017 Tuesday: Regarding ALLEGED misconduct in voting rights cases in the great state of Kansas, a disciplinary group that oversees attorneys in the state has announced that they are going to launch an investigation into the state’s Secretary of State Kris Kobach.   Once again, anyone fighting to protect voting rights in this country becomes a target of left-wing, Democratic-Socialist Party terrorists.  What a shame.
  56. 2018 Wednesday: After worldwide condemnation and a dramatic drop in the price of Tesla stock, Elon Musk apologizes for having slandered drowned Thai cave diver who helped rescue the Thai boys soccer team from the cave complex in which they had been trapped by rising floodwaters.  Musk had called the renowned diver, “Pedo guy,” inferring that he was somehow a pedophile.  What really had Musk bothered is that his attempt at rescuing the boys and their coach failed.  Meanwhile, Turkey ends its two-year state of emergency on this date.
  57. 2019 Thursday: In Israel’s Negev Desert, archaeologists discover the world’s ‘oldest mosque.’  However, the Jews were there first so Islam cannot use this ‘find’ as yet another pretense for claiming they own the land of the Jewish state.   Meanwhile, the city of West Palm Beach, Florida, confounded by hordes of homeless people clogging the city’s waterfront resorts to blasting two children’s songs- “Baby Shark” and “Raining Tacos” to drive the homeless away.  Not sure whether it worked or not but it sure as hell should have.  Horrible songs.  Meanwhile, fresh from condemning President Trump the previous day, the House of Representatives votes to table a resolution on whether to impeach the 45th president or not.  The vote was 332-95.

Gavin Newsom being little more than a festering POS, NO mention of confirmed recoveries.  In Hawaii, here are the stats: 1,334 confirmed cases, 23 confirmed deaths, and 994 confirmed recoveries.  Finally, in the too-far-left-to-save-state-of-Washington, here are the stats: 45,943 confirmed cases, 1,444 confirmed deaths, and like California’s worthless governor, Gov. Jay Inslee won’t list the number of confirmed recoveries.
  59. 2021 Sunday: What are the Chi-Coms, the Russians, the Iranians, the North Koreans, the Cubans, and the Venezuelans and their stooge- senile Joe Biden- up to today?  We shall see.

On June 05, 2001, Jethro Tull- at the behest of their record label obviously- released yet another official ‘best of package,’ “The Very Best of Jethro Tull” which featured 20 tracks spread out from across much of the storied band’s career.   If you have yet to introduce the music of this band to your ears, this is a good way in which one can do it just so long as you buy “25th Anniversary Box Set” at the same time, too.  In that way, you are able to get a good selection of music with which to delight one’s auditory senses.  We hope you will seek it out by visiting whatever site it is you choose for the absolute best in rock music.  Remember this, however, with Amazon.com having become the POS company that it has, try shopping LOCAL instead of Amazon or Alibaba or any other BIG ONLINE RETAILER.

. Meanwhile, in the fight for Dien Bien Phu in French Indochina, two American pilots- James B. McGovern- nicknamed “Earthquake McGoon” for a comic strip character of the time and his co-pilot Wallace Buford bit the dust today. McGovern- flying his 45th supply run to Dien Bien Phu with a full load of ammunition for his French allies suffered AA damage to the tail. The plane was unable to complete its mission and as the C-119 struggled to make it away from enemy troops clipped the side of a mountain flying low through a valley, flipped over, and blew up killing the crew. These were the first two American casualties of the Vietnam War.

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

On December 13, 1971, after working long hours in the studio and performing gigs, Badfinger returned with “Straight Up,” an album that should have been a massive commercial success but which the critics panned.  The album featured the same lineup of Pete Ham (lead and backing vocals, lead guitar, and keyboards), Tom Evans (lead and backing vocals, bass guitar), Joey Molland (rhythm and lead guitars, lead and backing vocals), and Mike Gibbins (drums and percussion, backing and lead vocals) as well as George Harrison who basically joined the band and added his signature slide guitar as well as other notables such as Leon Russell and Gary Wright.  Critics slammed the effort but the group had three producers on the album beginning with Geoff Emerick who did their previous effort followed by ex-Beatle George Harrison who then left the band to bring his Concert for Bangladesh to fruition followed by the Nazz’ Todd Rundgren so there were inconsistencies throughout the effort.  Still, the song “Day After Day” was a big seller and will forever be associated with this gifted band.  We hope you will seek it out and consider adding it to your collection- you will be glad you did.

29. 1939 Tuesday: The Spanish Civil War effectively ended as Madrid fell to the forces of Francisco Franco. Under siege for more than two years, the communist Republicans had managed to defend the nation’s capital from the Falangists, aka Fascist, aka Nationalist Spaniards. The Nationalists began rounding up their communist opponents, executing many of them where they stood (the only good communist is a dead communist) while sparing others to begin repairing the damage they caused to both Madrid and to the rest of their nation. A few survivors managed to flee through enemy lines and seek refuge in the mountains.

  63. 2016 Monday: Belgian prosecutors release one Muslim guy they scooped up in their search for the jihadists that capsized their country and caused widespread fear throughout Western Europe because the evidence upon which, they arrested him did not support the crimes with which they were trying to charge him.  We hope they kept eyes on him anyway…elsewhere, the Japanese military continues building up its forces and intelligence-gathering apparatuses near the disputed Senkaku Islands, the ones the Chinese covet.
  64. 2017 Tuesday: President Donald J. Trump proposed immediate budget cuts of $18 billion from programs such as medical research, infrastructure, and community grants so the American taxpayers—and NOT Mexico—could cover the down payment for the border wall.  Elsewhere, Wells Fargo Bank said it would pay $110 million to settle a class-action lawsuit over as many as 2 million accounts its employees opened for customers without getting their permission.
  65. 2018 Wednesday: Arriving for his first trip outside North Korea, Kim Jong Un arrives in Beijing via his armored train to meet with Chinese leader Xi Jinping.  Meanwhile, following an out-of-control prison riot that led to a major fire in the Carabobo state police headquarters in Valencia, Venezuela, the authorities claim 68 deaths and countless others injured and maimed.
  66. 2019 Thursday: After 100-plus migrants seized control of a merchantmen plying the waters off the coast of Libya- and which then took control of the vessel and ordered its captain and crew to take them to Malta- the Maltese navy arrived on scene, stormed the vessel, freed its crew, and took the pirates into custody.  The ship then went onto Malta where it docked and the scumbag refugees were trotted off to holding cells.  We guess a prison on Malta beats living in Libya without Moammar Gaddafi in charge.
  67. 2020 Saturday: The Wuhan Virus continues plaguing the world what with confirmed global cases hitting 664,924 with a total of 30,848 deaths and 140,222 recoveries.  Meanwhile, in the United States there are a total of 124,665 confirmed cases with 2,026 deaths and approximately 1,072 recoveries (although the recovery number seems a bit low).  Meanwhile, in Communist China, the authorities have re-opened parts of the epicenter of the virus- Wuhan- after two months of intense isolation including the nailing in of the afflicted into their apartments.

  52. 2016 Friday:  As candidate Donald J. Trump continues rebuffing his numerous female accusers, Democratic Party nominee Hillary Rodham Clinton quietly begins downgrading her campaign events schedule due to fatigue and poor health; besides, she thinks she has it in the bag.  This belief will be her undoing.  Meanwhile, President Barack Hussein Obama removes restrictions on Cuban cigars and rum.

  55. 2019 Monday: After dealing with initial Kurdish resistance, Turkish troops steamroll across the frontier into Syria thereby to establish a buffer zone between their country and the Syrian civil war.  Various U.S. military and elected officials blast President Trump for having pulled U.S. troops back, prophesying that ‘all hell is going to break loose and that the United States has abandoned its allies.’  None of this proves to be true.  Elsewhere, in the impeachment probe, a blubbering former ambassador to the Ukraine- Marie Yovanovitch- says Fiona Hill, another Obama holdover and Russian expert, said the president’s lawyer, Rudy Giuliani who is investigating wrongdoing by Hunter Biden in the Ukraine- is a ‘hand grenade.’  Dems did their best to paint Giuliani as some sort of malignant entity messing up years of U.S. diplomacy in the region but like the rest of their BS, there is nothing to see here.  Wah, wah, wah!
  56. 2020 Wednesday: Much to the frustration of President Donald J. Trump, Attorney-General William “Bill” Barr says the unmasking probe found NO evidence of wrongdoing in the Obama White House.  Later, when asked by Newsmax’ Greg Kelly as to what the future of AG Barr would be in a second term, the president responds ‘NO comment’ but expresses his displeasure.   Moving on, Russia rules out any nuke deal until AFTER the 2020 U.S. elections.  Elsewhere, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo pushes Saudi Arabia to normalize relations with Israel.   Speaking of Secretary Pompeo, he says the U.S. is defending 12 Hong Kongese detained by the Chi-Coms.
  57. 2020 Wednesday A: A judge in Virginia orders more time for voter registration in that state. Regarding the election, a Pennsylvania county reports 29,000 mail-in ballots sent to the wrong people.  Instills loads of confidence in one, doesn’t it?  Elsewhere, we learn today that Hunter Biden introduced his father, then the sitting Vice President Joe Biden to Ukrainian energy officials.  This would set up a massive self-enrichment scheme for the Biden Family.   Meanwhile, Eli Lilly becomes the second pharmaceutical maker to temporarily halt COVID-19 vaccine studies after a test subject develops an unknown illness.   Speaking of the Chi-Vi, CNN’s Wolf Blitzer blasting House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s failure to negotiate a successful Wuhan Virus relief bill continues gathering steam as millions of Americans now see that she has NO desire to pass any sort of relief for millions of struggling Americans until AFTER the Election.  Impeach and remove this horrible woman.
  58. 2020 Wednesday B: Tomorrow, dueling town hall ‘debates’ will occur as President Donald J. Trump holds one at the exact same time that his challenger, “Pro-China Joe” Biden holds another.   Moving on, today is the third day of confirmation hearings for nominee Amy Coney Barrett and Sen. Ted Cruz, R-TX, exposes the Dems over their claims of ‘GOP court packing’ by pointing out that it’s NOT court packing, it’s the lawful filling of vacancies.  He points out that should the Democrats win, they will engage in court packing by adding another 4-7 additional justices, thus making the court forever a left-wing ally in whatever’s to come.   Meanwhile, Charlie Cook of the Cook Report says that ‘Pro-China Joe” Biden now has an insuperable lead over President Donald J. Trump of 17-percent and that his challenger now has a 91-percent chance of winning on November 3.  Wow!  It’s all over!  Still, just for the heck of it, we are all going to GO VOTE on Election Day…
  59. 2020 Wednesday C: THE STATE OF ILLINOIS IS NOT GOING TO FILE CHARGES AGAINST KYLE RITTENHOUSE, they young man who went to Kenosha, Wisconsin, to help his friends defend their homes and businesses.  Attacked by a mob of Antifa human filth, he defended himself and killed two of the bums in self-defense.  God bless you, Mr. Rittenhouse, God bless the state of Illinois for doing the right thing.
  60. 2020 Wednesday D: Back to the Chi-Coms and their Wuhan Virus pandemic, here are the latest stats: 38,351,539 confirmed cases, UP by 345,418 cases, 1,089,186 confirmed deaths, UP by 5,311 deaths, and 26,540,006 confirmed recoveries, UP by 185,795 recoveries.  Here are the numbers for the United States: 7,954,066 confirmed cases, UP by 10,036 new cases, 219,254 confirmed deaths, UP by 178 new deaths, and 5,063,122 confirmed recoveries, UP by 1,363 new recoveries.  (The number of recoveries would be even greater if Blue State governors would report them but alas, we know they won’t- corrupt POSs).  Now that Mo is living in Israel, here are the numbers for that nation: 298,500 confirmed cases, 2,098 confirmed deaths, and 251,711 confirmed recoveries.
  61. 2020 Wednesday E: Next, in the three states in which, the world-famous American Institute of Culinary Politics-The Elemental News of the Day employs chef-authors, California, Hawaii, and Washington, here are the stats, Golden State first: 865,211 confirmed cases, 16,717 confirmed deaths, but as is the norm, NO mention of confirmed recoveries.  Next, here are the stats for the Aloha State: 13,736 confirmed cases, 183 confirmed deaths, and 10,883 confirmed recoveries.  Finally, in the Ever-Red, uh, we mean, the Evergreen State, here are the stats: 99,486 confirmed cases, 2,311 confirmed deaths, but like California, the palooka-faced governor, Jay Inslee, won’t share the number of confirmed recoveries.  Shame on these flipping Democrats.  Let’s take a look at one more state, Ohio: 173,665 confirmed number of cases, 5,033 confirmed deaths, and NO mention of confirmed number of recoveries- thank you, Governor Mike DeWine for concealing the number of recoveries.
  62. 2020 Wednesday F: Here are today’s Stock Market closes, ALL DOWN because of the news that now ties “Pro-China Joe” Biden to the corrupt Ukrainian gas company Burisma through his crackhead son, Hunter: DOW Jones Industrial Average: 28,514.00, DOWN 165.81 points (-0.58%).  Next, the NASDAQ: 11,768.63, DOWN 95.17 points (-0.80%).  Finally, here are the stats for the S&P 500: 3,488.67, DOWN 23.26 points (-0.66%).  The price of GOLD is $1,902.10 per troy oz., -5.20 (-0.27%) while the price of SILVER is $24.27 per troy ounce, -0.125 (-0.51%).  The price of PLATINUM is $861.00 per troy oz, -2.40 (-0.28%) while the price of COPPER is $3.05 per pound, -0.0045 (-0.15%).  The price of PALLADIUM is $2,366.30 per troy oz, +22.00 (+0.94%).  The price of Light Sweet Crude Oil is $41.20 per barrel, +0.16 (+0.39%).  Currently, one-dollar U.S. = 6.71 Chi-Com yuan.   Meanwhile, one-dollar U.S. = 0.85 euros and in Mexican pesos equals 21.32.
  63. 2020 Wednesday G:  As everyone knows, the day is young, we don’t know yet what the Chi-Coms and their stooges in the Democratic Party have done.  Stick around and we will find out together…which is what the New York Post today reported front page, the connection between crackhead Hunter Biden, Burisma, and his daddy, “Pro-China Joe” Biden.  Hunter introduced his father to the number three Ukrainian at Burisma and there’s the story, folks, if this were anyone else, he or she would be driven from the race in shame and sent to prison… please see the story at https://nypost.com/2020/10/14/email-reveals-how-hunter-biden-introduced-ukrainian-biz-man-to-dad/
  64. 2020 Wednesday H: President Donald J. Trump has a MASSIVE RALLY in Des Moines, Iowa, tonight where he broaches the topics of the day, including the growing scandal about “Pro-China Joe” Biden and his dopehead son, Hunter.  Tune in to Newsmax for highlights…Meanwhile, Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-SC, pulls in a record $28 million for September in his battle to keep his seat.  Lindsey has it hands down.  Elsewhere, we are told that in early voting, “Democrats are outvoting their GOP competition.”  Does this surprise anyone?  Honestly?  Dems always flood the early voting facilities as like the bogus fake polls that continue showing “Pro-China Joe” Biden up anywhere from 17 to 35 points, meant to depress the opposition.  Folks, NOTHING is going to depress the GOPPERS, you are going to see turnout the likes of which, you have never seen on Election Day.  The victory is going to dwarf any seen by Ronald Reagan or Richard M. Nixon and we hear from sources around the country that IF the Democrats find 500 ballots in the trunk of a car with Mexico license plates, the GOP will find 750 to 1,000 in a box from a polling station.  Dems, we are going to fight fire with fire.  Watch and see!

Just the Facts: the Left never sleeps- they will always find ways at outlawing or circumventing the things they don’t like such as how Google is closing G-Plus to clamp down free speech

The left never sleeps my friends, and I know because I am a reformed leftist. Hence why I believe that Google is shutting down Google Plus- an app that hundreds of millions of people use every month- is not because ‘too few people use it’ or ‘it is too costly to maintain’ (how can they say that? They are the BIGGEST company of their kind)- but because it will allow them to control the flow of free speech as well as perhaps close down Blogger.

SPRING SESSION 2019

BLOG POST #3,070 AT THE AICP-END

587 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2020

The left is ‘genius’ when it comes to navigating around things it does not like in order to quash them

Pasadena, CA, 03-28-2019 Thursday:  Good morning friends, we have been working on this blog since late 2010, when Stinkbug and his brother from another mother, Chef Brian picked up where they left off in the summer of that year over at the now-defunct Choseit.com.  One by one, each of the chef-bloggers gravitated over here from the old blog or were recruited by them like me to join them at this blog.  As time went by, we set up a secondary blog due to Google slamming the door on us in the summer of 2014.  Then, knowing they meant us no good, we set up shop over at WordPress in case they closed us down again.

We now suspect that the reason Google Plus is shutting down as of next Monday-Tuesday is because- like shutting down the Second Amendment- the best way to go about accomplishing leftist goals is to circumvent them and do it via the backdoor.  We suspect that like the Democrats seek to punish and/or close gunmakers is by taxing bullets and requiring background checks as well as suing those who manufacture guns or deny them the necessary loans with which to do business.

We have seen the little buck-toothed leftist bar maid, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, aka Baby Evita, aka AOC, going after Wells Fargo Bank executives over their funding of various pipelines.

Everyone who watched the doe-eyed dimwit laughed at her but there was nothing to laugh at because she was doing something no one else had thought of: she was going to make the financiers of all things the leftists hate like guns, fossil fuels, the military-industrial complex- feel the pain by tying them to negative things to which, they may have given money.

Now, you can laugh at me and call me crazy but this is diabolical.  Although the Wells Fargo exec was somewhat unresponsive to what the Baby Evita was dishing out, she was setting the mood for everyone who finances unpopular things the left does not like- like multi-state oil pipelines- that when a problem occurs like an oil spill, we are going to tar and feather the banks with the disaster knowing that business will always avoid anything that makes it look BAD.

If the left cannot get guns off the street, well, they will chip away at the places where they can such as placing draconian laws on the transfer and sale of guns to family members or putting additional taxes and background checks on ammo.

These sneaky SOBS seek to do this so that every time someone goes to buy bullets for their AR-15, in order to get the amount of ammo the law allows them to get at any one time, they have to undergo a 14-day background check before receiving the ammo.

Standing outside the issue, one must applaud how easy it is to overturn the Second Amendment because one does not need to outlaw guns (although they are working on that one, too, and will succeed which is WHY the left wants to lower the voting age to 16), one only needs to make it extremely difficult to purchase ammo for lawfully-owned firearms as overtime, people will ‘give them up’ willingly.

Likewise, in order to shove the Green New Deal down our throats, a Marxist fire-breathing genius like the slow-witted Baby Evita first must go after the banks that provide financing to fossil fuel projects because if the banks won’t fund the building of new infrastructure or the maintenance of existing equipment and facilities, then there is good reason to believe it won’t get done and fossil fuel production will disappear.

I think they would love to close Blogger because that entity could be costly to maintain as well as a desire within the bigwigs of the company to control the flow of speech.  Granted, much of the speech one sees on social media is foul and unproductive but I am sure that Sundar Pichai, the Google boss, would love to throttle free speech in the same way he wants desperately to work with Xi Jinping and Communist China.

There are big bucks to be made in totalitarian societies and those sitting at the table can reap vast rewards while the rest of us languish in the shadows of their dominance.  I would hope that Google will reconsider shutting down Google Plus as well as Google Blogger but I think both of these entities will vanish as will our access to you the ravenous readers.  What a shame.  We are indeed living in an Orwellian world.

Friends, we can still protest and demand Google reconsider but we already see the numbers of viewers and readers diminishing which means we could soon be on the chopping block, too.  Shame on Sundar Pichai.  Shame on Google.  Why would you not embrace the nation and its tenets of freedom and liberty that allowed you to become as big as you are instead of working on behalf of those who would quash our abilities to engage the minds of hundreds of millions?

Thanks for joining me, folks; we will pick up tomorrow where we left off today.

Just the Facts: IF Democrats should win in November, the eight years of economic and social malaise that was the norm under Barack Obama will become the standard for all future generations

The election coming up in just little over three weeks is an crucial one, perhaps one of the most imperative as we stand at a crossroads of sorts. Do we continue going down the path that President Donald J. Trump seeks to take us or do we return to excessive government control via job- and -business-killing rules and regulations that the last administration imposed on the American people?

BLOG POST #2,905 AT THE AICP-END

TWENTY-FOUR DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2018

TODAY IS GOLDIE’S 100th BLOG POST AT THE AMERICAN INSTITUTE OF CULINARY POLITICS-ELEMENTAL NEWS OF THE DAY

Question: is the stock market collapse the dreaded ‘October surprise?’

Bakersfield, CA, 10-14-2018 Sunday:  Today is my 100th blog post at the American Institute of Culinary Politics-Elemental News of the Day- I am joining a select group of fellow chef-bloggers who have achieved this monumental milestone.  I will readily admit, I never believed that I would arrive at this heavenly point and yet, here I am, doing my 100th essay for our esteemed blog.  I invite everyone joining me for what most likely is going to be my final post of the year, to come celebrate with me.  Thank you, Stinky, thank you, Rollie, thank you, Mo, and the rest of our blogging family.

This past week, we have had ample opportunity to witness what could be this election cycle’s ‘October surprise,’ what with the sudden collapse of markets worldwide and the immediate pointing of fingers in the direction of President Donald J. Trump.

Earlier this week, the Dow fell by a startling 831 points, which propelled investors to begin selling off high-flying stocks and to begin investing in utilities, precious metals such as gold, and into other proven rock-solid stocks that seldom suffer from sudden fluctuations in the market or in global economic policy.

Investors typically do not like to see interest rates go up, bull market killers, especially when they go up several times whereas people who have money invested in certificates of deposit and money market accounts- perhaps the safest but slowing growing investments ever- do.  If rates go up, so do the returns on their investments.

There are questions as to why the chairman of the Federal Reserve would boost rates when things are going gangbusters.  Oh, sure, I understand that they do this ostensibly to stop runaway markets that could lead to economic collapse and downturns but there is no reason to do that right now, not when things are finally soaring after the Obama years.

The fungibility of money is such that businessowners and investors want to see economic activity increase rather than return to the stagnant years we saw under the last administration.

Democrats claim this election is one they will win based on ‘pocketbook issues.’  As far as I see things, it appears to me that even here in California, employees and employers are better off than they were, say, 2.5-3 years ago because we have more customers flocking in and spending more on items like lobster and crab, we are paying our workers more in hourly wages and benefits, and everyone sports a smile on his or her face almost all the time.

Why then the Fed would do what it has done tells me one thing: Jerome Powell, the chairman of the Federal Reserve might be working on behalf of the Democrats in a surreptitious manner.

He most certainly knows that even though various trade negotiations initiated by President Donald J. Trump are paying off, there are still some sectors around the country dependent on trade with China are continuing to suffer due to the tariffs and the lack of long-term, stabilizing consistency.

The Democrats are hammering away at the so-called ‘pocketbook issues’ as well as at the tariffs and other barriers imposed on China because they know the media will provide them the necessary cover with which, they can go after the President and attempt to separate his base from him.

I think we already see signs that our economy is at its strongest since the 1960s what with low unemployment, demand for more workers, higher wages, better benefits and no law like Obamacare causing employers to offer workers 28 hours or less so they can avoid the mandate the failed law imposed upon us.

If the Democrats were to win in November and beyond, we would see all of the discarded Obama-era rules and regulations immediately return to the books, we would see global agreements such as the Trans-Pacific Partnership and the Paris Climate Accord become law once more, and our economy would return to the disastrous one the last president celebrated.

This November, we have but one choice and that choice is to vote with Republicans and against all Democrats.  This is all we can do as even if there are some among the Dems who sound sane, there are far more who are out-and-out loony tunes like Nancy Pelosi, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Bernie Sanders, and legion upon legion of more whack-jobs who want to screw every American where the sun don’t shine.

This is my final post of the year and I urge everyone, beg everyone to consider your vote as if we elect more Democrats, I seriously doubt we will ever get the opportunity we got back in November 2016 to stop the onward-marching socialism the Democrats so seemingly love now.

Thanks for being here with me this year; we will meet again- the good Lord willing- sometime in the new year.  God bless and good luck, keep the faith, and let us make sure a massive red tidal wave rushes in and sweeps all the left-wing Democrats out to sea.

See you next time.  Love ya all.

Due to the increasing number of threats and intrusions into our personal lives, we who blog here at the American Institute of Culinary Politics-Elemental News of the Day have engaged the services of local up-and-coming Bakersfield street artist, Simone, to do renderings of us as he sees fit.  I must say that he did an ‘okay job,’ it is what it is and I am fine with that.  Anyhow, I have spent my life working in professional food service and find it an immense joy to be able to come here 1-2 times a year and to share my political opinions and observations with me.  Thank you for joining me, we welcome everyone and invite them to bring their friends, family members, and coworkers/employees with them.
