  57. 2016 Saturday: With the final presidential debate between candidates Hillary Rodham Clinton and Donald J. Trump just hours away, Mr. Trump is showing no signs of backing down in the face of all the ginned-up #MeToo accusations and allegations.  According to him, ‘he’s in it to win it.’  You go, Mr. Trump, you go.
  58. 2017 Sunday: Actress and activist Alyssa Milano (someone we consider to be little more than a whore) tweeted that women who had been sexually harassed or assaulted should write “Me too” as a status; within hours, tens of thousands had taken up the #MeToo hashtag (using a phrase that had been introduced 10 years earlier by social activist Tarana Burke).
  59. 2018 Monday: Yet another caravan- this one containing at least 4,000 people- arrives in Guatemala, having begun gathering steam across Central America.  Someone is funding these people- whom we allege is George Soros- because their goal is to make it to Mexico, board buses and trains, and head for the U.S.-Mexican border.  There, they will try to storm across it and disappear into the interior of the country.  Meanwhile, Angola has its own problems with a tidal wave of illegal aliens and their military and police forces drive 180,000 ‘migrants’ back into the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
  60. 2019 Tuesday: Following the slayings of 13 Mexican police officers in the Mexican state of Michoacán the day before,  killed by narcotraffickers in an ambush, a running gunfight between Mexican security forces and armed civilians leaves at least 15 people dead in the state of Guerrero.   Meanwhile, in Westerville, Ohio, 12 Democratic hopefuls participate in the night’s Democratic Party debate.
  61. 2020 Thursday: Fallout from the New York Post story on Hunter Biden’s laptop and incriminating email evidence contained within the hard drive demonstrate that there was no reason to impeach President Donald J. Trump because what the Dems were accusing of him of doing was exactly what then- and- former Vice President Joe Biden, son Hunter, and brother and sister-in-law were engaged in doing: peddling influence for humongous quantities of dollars, tens of billions of dollars.  Besides Ukraine, we also learn that Hunter Biden was schmoozing with the Chi-Coms in order to raise still more hundreds of billions of dollars for his mumbling, stumbling daddy.  What makes it even more true is the amount of energy left-leaning social media moguls and their platforms, most notably Facebook and the corrupt Twitter, are devoting to covering up, censoring, and hiding away from the American people.  Folks, this election is now more than important than ever which is why we have but one choice for which to vote on November 3: Donald J. Trump and the GOP.  From the presidency to dogcatcher, vote STRAIGHT GOP.
  62. 2020 Thursday A: In yet another attempt to sway the election, Reuters/Ipsos poll says that ‘last minute voters tend to break for Biden over Trump’ while the Wall Street Journal reports that “Pro-China Joe” Biden has a national lead of 11 points over his opponent, President Donald J. Trump.’  We shall see.  An employee at the New York Times says, however, that ‘not everything is looking good for “Pro-China Joe” which we take to mean IF the Hunter Biden laptop story gets to the masses, he’s toast.   Regarding the covering up of the Hunter Biden laptop story, Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey says- regarding the censorship of the story- that ‘we might have handled it better.’   Yeah, like allowing the free flow of speech, you left-wing, Chi-Com-loving POS.   Regarding “Beijing Biden,” he has a new campaign ad featuring George Floyd’s sister.  Big whoop.
  63. 2020 Thursday B: Before leaving for a MASSIVE RALLY in Greenville, North Carolina, President Donald J. Trump tells reporters that ‘Gov. Andrew Cuomo is little more than a thug and that he himself has ruined the Empire State.’  New York citizens, recall and remove this moron, please, you have a lovely state but if he and NYC Mayor Bill “I’m a Commie” Di Blasio maintain their plan NOT to reopen Broadway until July 2021, you can kiss the city goodbye forever…speaking of loony tunes Democrats, actress Julia Louise Dreyfus calls for a BOYCOTT against the network that made her famous, NBC, for hosting a townhall with President Donald J. Trump while at the same time on ABC- we believe- there is going to be a “Pro-China Joe” Biden debate (although his is half as long as his opponents.  Question: will anyone possess the balls to ask Biden about ‘court packing’ much less about his drug-addled son, Hunter’s activities of enriching the family while using his father’s name as collateral?  That would be something!)
  64. 2020 Thursday C: President Donald J. Trump is encouraging the U.S. Senate to take a BIGGER Chi-Vi relief bill but U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin says he ‘doubts any movement will occur until after the election’ even though Democrat House members are begging- imploring senile House Speaker Nancy “Mumbles” Pelosi to make a deal, even the lower deal because their constituents- as well as their electoral chances- are in a bad way even though Madam Pelosi barked at Wolf Blitzer yesterday that ‘WE FEED THEM, YOU DON’T WOLF, WE FEED THEM.’  Wow, Marie Antoinette to be sure…
  65. 2020 Thursday D: Thursday Night Football’s game is between (1) Kansas City Chiefs, 32 (4-1) @ Buffalo Bills, 16 (4-1). POSTPONED UNTIL Monday, October 19, 2020.
  66. 2020 Thursday E: Folks, here are the numbers for the Xi Jinping Yellow Fever, Chi-Com Virus, the Wuhan Horseshoe Bat Flu- Pelosi Pox:  Here are the statistics for the planet as a whole: 38,756,289 confirmed cases, +404,750, 1,095,216, confirmed deaths, +6,030, and 26,753,000 confirmed recoveries, +212,994.  Next, here are the stats for the United States, the intended target of the Chinese-engineered Wuhan Virus pandemic: 8,016,448 confirmed cases, up 62,382 from yesterday’s reporting, 220,164 confirmed deaths, UP 910, and 5,083,924 confirmed recoveries, UP 20,802.  Here are the stats for Israel now that Mo is living there: 299,502 confirmed cases, 2,109 confirmed deaths, and 253,597 confirmed recoveries.
  67. 2020 Thursday F: Next, in the three states in which, the world-famous, anti-communist American Institute of Culinary Politics-the Elemental News of the Day employs chef-bloggers- California, Hawaii, and Washington- here are the stats, California first: 868,211 confirmed cases, 16,769 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Next here are the numbers for Hawaii: 13,834 confirmed cases, 183 confirmed deaths, and 10,883 confirmed recoveries.  Finally, here are the stats for leftist-Marxist-socialist hellhole of Washington: 100,169 confirmed cases, 2,319 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Let’s look at one other state: North Dakota- currently, they have 29,658 confirmed cases, 375 confirmed deaths, and 24,336 confirmed recoveries- thank you, Governor Doug Burgum for providing all of us the numbers of recoveries- thank you.
  68. 2020 Thursday G: We had a DOWN DAY in the markets today.  Here are the stats for today’s Stock Market closes: first the DOW Jones Industrial Average, 28,494.20, DOWN 19.80 points (-0.069%).  Next, here are the stats for the NASDAQ:  11,713.87, DOWN 54.86 points (-0.47%).  Finally, here are the numbers for the S&P 500: 3,483.34, DOWN 5.33 points (-0.15%).  Price of GOLD: $1,912.40 per troy oz., +3.50 (+0.18%)  Here is the price of SILVER: $24.44 per troy oz., +0.211 (+0.87%).  Price of PLATINUM: $870.10 per troy oz., +8.80 (+1.02%).  Price of PALLADIUM: $2,351.60 per troy oz., +2.50 (+0.11%).  Here is the price of COPPER: $3.09 per #, +0.009 (+0.29%).   Price of Light Sweet Crude Oil per barrel: $40.97, +0.01 (+0.02%).  Today, one-dollar U.S. = 6.72 PRC yuan whereas one U.S. greenback = 0.85 euros.  Conversely, one-dollar U.S. = 28.77 Taiwanese dollars.
  69. 2020 Thursday H: C-SPAN’s Steve Scully, who was set to host the second presidential debate until COVID-19 hit the president and terrified “Pro-China Joe” Biden into taking greater precautions such as demanding a VIRTUAL TOWNHALL DEBATE in which, he could have all manner of hidden aids, went on indefinite suspension now that we found out he lied to the FBI about his Twitter account being hacked.  As you recall, he was asking now-Trump hater Anthony Scaramucci for help in how to ‘deal with President Trump.’  Originally, he said he had ‘no clue’ as to how this message popped up, told the FBI his account ‘was hacked’ and then broke down today and said he lied.  Bon voyage, Mr. Scully, another one bites the dust.  Meanwhile, Judge Amy Coney Barrett concludes her final day of her confirmation hearings with flying colors.
  70. 2020 Thursday I: Meanwhile Twitter and Facebook continue blocking any information connected to “Pro-China Joe” and son Hunter Biden’s tale of woe in which, Hunter was the bagman for his father’s growing empire of wealth.  Our accounts are all stifled because yesterday, Chef Lilah posted the link to Today in History which included a link to the story in the New York Post.  Jack Dorsey strikes again, boy would Joseph Goebbels love the guy!  Elsewhere, prior to President Donald J. Trump going to his townhall debate on NBC, he blasts them as ‘fake news.’
  71. 2020 Thursday J: Americans seeking first time jobless benefits rose to 898,000 from 840,000 the week before.  The nation has regained 11.3 million jobs, still a ways away from the 22 million we lost at the start of the Chi-Com Bat Flu pandemic.  The overall number of those receiving jobless benefits dropped 1.2 million to 10 million so things are on the mend which is why Nancy Pelosis is fighting to prevent passage of a Wuhan Flu relief bill.  Elsewhere, the California Supreme Court- after overturning Scott Peterson’s death sentence for the murder of his wife, Lacey, and their unborn son, and is considering overturning his conviction in the case and ordering a new trial.  Meanwhile on the other side of the world, jihadists attacked a convoy of Pakistani oil and gas workers in SW Baluchistan killing at least seven workers and eight members of Pakistan’s Frontier Corps.  The attack occurred near an Arabian Sea port the Chi-Coms are building to tie Central Asia closer to the thugs in Beijing via their Road and Belt Initiative.
  72. 2020 Thursday K: As everyone knows, the Chi-Coms and their flunkies- the Democratic Party- are up to no good, trying to steal the elections in November.  Stick around as we will keep you updated throughout the day…

TODAY IN HISTORY—JULY 15, 2020

JJJ. 2017 Saturday: In Minneapolis, Australian citizen Justine Damond calls 911 after hearing what sounded like an ongoing rape attempt outside her window. The Minneapolis Police Department arrives on scene, one of the officers a recent Somali immigrant- Mohamed Noor- then leans across his partner, shoots, and kills her as she was leaning in the cruiser’s window describing what she had seen. Of course, this caused great outrage but the now liberal crap-hole of a once-proud state comes to the defense of Officer Noor but on June 7, 2019, a jury convicted him of murder and he received a sentence of 12.5 years in prison. WTF is wrong in Minneapolis?

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

#ST000.1c Crime of the Century #3 07-02-2020 (400)

The third album by Supertramp- “Crime of the Century”- came out on September 13, 1974 and was the band’s commercial breakthrough in both the United Kingdom and in the United States.  Once again, the band underwent some changes in the lineup although the principal duo of Rick Davies (keyboards, vocals, harmonicas), Roger Hodgson (guitars, backing and lead vocals) remained the same.  Joining them were John Anthony Helliwell (saxophones, flutes, vocals), Dougie Thompson (bass), and Bob Seibenberg (drums and percussion).  Although not a theme album, it still revolved around issues of loneliness and mental difficulties, something that seems to be common for musicians living and working on the road.  We love this album and know that you will, too, so please seek it out and add it to your collection, you will be glad you did.

FOOTNOTES:

[i] We promoted the music of the famed San Francisco, California, rock band, Moby Grape, on Monday, 09-April-2012 through Monday, 23-April-2012.  We hope you will seek them out and add them to your collection.

[ii] We are unclear as to when we will begin promoting the music of the legendary British rock band, YES, but when we do, you will be the first to know.  This offering will go as long as- if not longer- than the Beatles and their individual members.   Please stay tuned.

[iii] We began promoting the music of the famous acid rock band from Texas- the 13th Floor Elevators- beginning on Tuesday, 14-May-2013 through Thursday, 06-June-2013.  We would encourage everyone to seek the music of this legendary band out and adding it to their collections.  You will be glad you did.

[iv] We hope to share the music of Lynyrd Skynyrd sometime in the next decade.  At least by 2029 so please stay tuned for further news.

[v] See previous footnote.

[vi] We shared the music of Deep Purple, Ian Gillan, Captain Beyond, Elf, and Rainbow beginning on Tuesday, 20-March-2018 and concluded this massive offering on Sunday, 14-October-2018.  Please seek out the music by all of these phenomenal bands.  All are fabulous.

[vii] At the time considered to be a brilliant move on the part of staunch anti-communist Richard M. Nixon, it was a big mistake to normalize any relations with this communist giant when we already had problems with both them and the USSR.  Communist China should have been shunned, stunted, and possibly destroyed.  Look at all the trouble they have caused in the 21st century with all their fetid pandemic diseases created in their biowarfare labs in Wuhan and sent around the world with alacrity.

[viii] We presented the music of the Kinks, as well as of Ray and Dave Davies, beginning on Monday, 22-December-2014 through Sunday, 15-March-2015.  We hope you will check out the music of this original British invasion band as they are as relevant today as they were more than 50 years ago.  Sure beats the hell out of Maroon Five and a homo twit like Adam Levine.  What a loser, he looks like the flipping illustrated man.

#PF001.2w Discovery #49 05-28-2020 (400)

The record company of Pink Floyd- EMI- delivered another arresting BEST OF compilation on September 26, 2011, the much-admired “Discovery.”  This effort was close to comprehensive in that it contained not only all of the studio albums from start to finish- including “More,” as well as loads of lavish extras.   The only album not included are the live albums, “Delicate Sound of Thunder” and “Pulse” as well as “Endless River,” all three of which deserve to have been included but it is what it is.  Still, IF you have as yet NOT introduced the music of this astonishing band to your hungry ears, you can rectify that mistake by doing so NOW.  Visit Amazon.com or whatever else site you do for the best in music.  We thank you.

[i] This is the TRUE government of China, Nationalist China which is FREE China. Although these people inhabit Taiwan, the former island of Formosa, they are the true owners of mainland China, too, and the sooner they reclaim their birthright, the sooner the world will heal.

[ii] We look forward to sharing the music of this influential British band within the next five years. Colosseum was overlooked when we shared the group of interconnected bands in which, Humble Pie, was a part. Sorry for the oversight.

[iii] We promoted the music of the Jefferson Airplane beginning on Tuesday, 05-April-2011 through Sunday, 22-May-2011.

[iv] We promoted the music of the famed San Francisco, California, rock band, Moby Grape, on Monday, 09-April-2012 through Monday, 23-April-2012. We hope you will seek them out and add them to your collection.

[v] We began promoting the music of both the Beatles and the band’s individual components on Friday, 04-November-2016 through Sunday, 11-June-2018. Besides the Beatles, we also promoted the music of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, and George Harrison as well as the Traveling Wilburys.

[vi] We hope to share the music of the Paul Butterfield Blues Band as well as Al Kooper sometime in the next 10-15 years. We hope you will remain with us as loyal readers.

[vii] Not sure when we will begin celebrating the music of Joan Jett and the Blackhearts but when we do…you will be among the first to know.

[viii] As to when we will celebrate the life, times, and music of the late great Stevie Ray Vaughn and Double Trouble, we haven’t a clue so stay alert for the day we finally do.

[ix] We doubt we will ever do the music of Green Day.

[x] We hope to celebrate the music of Bill Withers one day. Please stay alert for when that day arrives. You will be glad you did.

[xi] We began promoting the music of the Velvet Underground starting on Tuesday, 18-March-2014 through Wednesday, 09-April-2014. At the time we promoted this famous New York City rock band, we failed to share the music of the man himself, Lou Reed. We hope to rectify that mistake when we return to promoting American bands again. Thank you for your patience.

Total claims since social distancing and economic shutdown hit 22 million Americans out of work.  This is all because of China.  We must make them pay when we come to the end of the pandemic, which we hope is soon.  Word continues to appear that demonstrate that the Wuhan Virus Crisis did indeed come out of a Chinese laboratory in the city of Wuhan where it just so happens the Chinese conduct biowarfare studies.  Although they continue lying that the virus came from somewhere else, who can believe a single word a communist regime says?  Communists always lie, it’s in their DNA which is why no one should take them at their word.  COVID-19 Statistics: currently, there are 2,151,199 confirmed cases around the planet what with 1 confirmed cases around the planet what with 143,725 confirmed fatalities as well as 541,501 confirmed recoveries.  In the United States, we have 672,931 confirmed cases with 34,386 confirmed deaths and 54,594 confirmed recoveries.  The Chinese claim 84,593 confirmed cases, 3,342 confirmed deaths and 79,112 confirmed recoveries.  Boy do the communists lie.

JTF: Back in June, I began handicapping our choice of candidates, beginning with the dead weight who needed to go- let’s see how accurate I was

The last guy on my loser list is shock of shocks to the millennials who are putting their hopes on because he’s a fruitcake is little Mayor Pete (no last name necessary). Look, any gay guy who compares being gay to being black is a LOSER. I also doubt the world is ready for the United States to trot out the mayor of a small, crime-ridden, Midwest town who’s gay either.

FALL SESSION 2019

BLOG POST #3,321 AT THE AICP-END

337 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2020

Let’s see if I know what I’m talking about, shall we?

Arvin, CA 93203, 12-04-2019 Wednesday:   Back in June, I invested a great deal of time in handicapping our potential nominees because someone has to do it and I felt obliged to be the one because I am among the strongest Democratic chef-authors here at the original American Institute of Culinary Politics-Elemental News of the Day.  I felt we had so many people all vying with one another that the sooner we cleared the dead weight the sooner we could select the perfect nominee, rally around behind him or her, and reclaim the White House which rightfully is ours.

Let us see who we had on the list of LOSERS, who they are and whether my predictions came true or soon will be.  Ready?  Good.  Let’s go.

On Wednesday, June 19, 2019, I laid out the first list of losers, the people who needed to go.  First was Andrew Yang, the Taiwan entrepreneur.  I said he had to go because he has no chance at ever becoming secretary of sewers much less president.  Well, Mr. Yang is still hanging on.  Still, he needs to go because he is lucky if he gets more than one question per debate.  A seal at the Morro Bay aquarium nabs more fish than this putz does questions.

Next, I listed Oprah’s best bud, Marianne Williamson.  People tell me she is still there.  The question is WHY- no one has seen or heard from her.  With all the money of the Big “O” backing her, it’s not doing her much good.  She should be gone by New Year’s- that’s what the crystals tell me…

Alas, I was wrong about two, two who are still there even though I said they should go.  Let’s see who else I pointed out in that post who needed to go.  Hmmm, I said Kirsten Gillibrand needed to go and lo and behold, she went.  Thank God, what a horrible candidate.  Thank God, again, for the fact that she has remained silent, I cannot stand it when that bleached blonde dimwit opens her mouth.  Sort of like Jessica Tarlov sans the nasal quality to her voice but annoying just the same.

I said that Cory Booker should go because the guy’s a clown, makes everyone think of a black version of Jim Carrey’s “The Mask.”  Why he is still there, I haven’t a clue but I must say, in the last debate, the weirdo seemed like he might possess the ghost of a chance as he made himself likable, something the others have difficulties doing.

I said that two of the Bozo governors, John Hickenlooper and Jay Inslee should go.  They listened to me.  Both are gone which is good, incredibly good, as they were sucking up oxygen that other candidates required for them to move ahead.

The final candidate I said should go in the June 19, 2019, blog post was Robert Francis “Beto” O’Rourke.  He’s gone.  Sooner than I thought but I am so glad he’s gone.  Like Joe Biden talking about his leg hair, little kids sitting in his lap, and sucking his wife’s finger in front of a crowd, once we saw Beto getting his nose hair trimmed and his ear hair plucked, we ALL knew he needed to go.  This ain’t “House of Cards,” folks, people do not move ahead via podcasts.  Not even that Lolita from the Bronx.

The next day, June 20, 2019, I handicapped the rest of the candidates I felt had NO chance at winning the nomination nor should remain in the race because they are LOSERS.  Here was the next group I said should be vaya con dios.

In that post, I said that Wayne Messam and Mike Gravel should go.  Messam dropped out and no one knows for sure whether Gravel was ever truly in the race or was just blowing methane through his blowhole?  Who cares as he never had any opportunity coming out of the great white north anyway, and at his age?  Truly?

Then, I listed three congressional members who should be gone: Eric Swalwell, Seth Moulton, and Tim Ryan.  All of them should go and lo and behold, they went.  Swalwell was the first and thank God he left the race because that stupid putz is dumber than the gophers in my yard and worse, he looks like one of the underground rodents.

The other two, nice guys, I’m sure, how they ever thought they had a snowball’s chance in hell of winning the nomination was way beyond my pay grade and I own my own business and write my own check.  Maybe next time.

We are not ready for a small-town mayor because if we were, I would have chosen Mayor Messam of Miramar, Florida, before I EVER chose Mayor Pete.  Yes, he’s a veteran but he seldom left the safety and comfort of the rear zone and if he did, I am sure he was highly protected.  Tulsi Gabbard actually saw action whereas Mayor Pete was getting action only in the showers.

Now, I know people are going to hammer me but as a Democrat, I feel entitled to speak the truth to a generation of dummkopfs who have no clue whatsoever as to what it takes to be president.  We do not celebrate or support identity politics, not people my age and if you want to slam me or critique me, go the f**k ahead, I could give a flying f**k.

I also mentioned Steve Bullock, Michael Bennett, and Bill Di Blasio.  The first two are still around?  I have no clue but the third POS is long gone as he should have been.

The 2020 Election is all about winning, not putting out the candidate that checks off the most boxes or crosses the most intersections.  Bull crap, people, we need the best person to do the job and any punk who wants to drive out here to Arvin, California, and look me up, please do so and I will kick all your asses.

Tomorrow, we will pick up with those whom I believe can win this thing, like Mike Bloomberg.  We will also look at Deval Patrick.  Deval Patrick.  He’s on the same level as Mike Gravel.  No way in hell.

Today’s Mothers of Invention album is their twentieth album, “You can’t do that on Stage anymore, Volume Four,” which appeared on record store shelves on June 14, 1991 and was the fourth installment in a series of the more dubious onstage antics of the Mothers of Invention.  For those who love for what the Mothers once stood—X-rated, musical humor, this is a must-have series of albums and this is the first installment.  We recommend that you take the link posted above, go to Amazon.com, and buy this album NOW. Thank you.

Jimmy Page released his next solo album, “Playing up a Storm,” on June 14, 2011, an album that made the charts and showed that the artist still had a fire in his belly.  Joining the extraordinary guitarist were Albert Lee (guitars/vocals), Nicky Hopkins (keyboards), John Paul Jones (bass/keyboards), Clem Cattini (drums), Chris Hughes (saxophones), and some other musicians to round out the sound.  We encourage everyone to seek this one out by visiting the world’s greatest online marketplace, Amazon.com, and getting it there in the format, the condition, and the price that works best for you- you will be glad you did.

WE THANK OUR UNSEEN ARMY OF BENEFACTORS AND PATRONS WHO KEEP OUR TWO BLOGS UP-AND-RUNNING AND APPRECIATE THEIR HELP.

[i] We presented the music of Moby Grape, famed San Francisco acid-rock band, beginning on Monday, 09-April-2012 and concluded the presentation on Monday, 23-April-2012.  Please seek them out and consider adding them to your collection.

[ii] We offered the music of the Byrds beginning on Monday, 16-January-2012 and concluded the presentation on Friday, 17-February-2012.

[iii] We presented the music of the Flying Burrito Brothers beginning Sunday, 23-February-2014 and concluded our presentation on Thursday, 06-March-2014.

[iv] The Desert Rose Band is a long ways in the future, when we complete the British rock bands and return to the American.  Please stay tuned for further developments.

[v] We hope to present the Beach Boys and its members at some point within the next five years.

[vi] We hope to share the music of Lynyrd Skynyrd sometime in the next decade.  At least by 2029.

[vii] When we present the music of the Allman Brothers Band, we will present the music of Gov’t Mule.  Stay tuned for further developments.

[viii] We shared the music of Deep Purple, Ian Gillan, Captain Beyond, Elf, and Rainbow beginning on Tuesday, 20-March-2018 and concluded this massive offering on Sunday, 14-October-2018.  Please seek out the music by all of these phenomenal bands.  All are fabulous.

[ix] Syria has always been a problem in the control of the Assad Family and we have had to light them up on numerous occasions.  They were scum then and remain scum to this day.

[x] We began presenting the music of the Mothers of Invention and of Frank Zappa beginning on Monday, 21-January-2013 and concluded the presentation on Monday, 13-May-2013.  Please seek them out, we believe you will enjoy the music of this famed man and his band.

[xi] Although known as “The Deporter-in-Chief,” Barack Obama’s administration combined the numbers of those turned back at the southern border with apprehensions within the country, thereby deflating his record on deportations.  Truthfully, he did as little as possible to protect illegal aliens.  Shame on him.

JTF: Mueller and Jerry Nadler couldn’t do it, then Adam Schiff failed, and now it’s going back to Nadler? Is this the best the Democratic Party has to offer? Time for Hillary to give it another go

Don’t laugh at Bloomberg, folks, that man could end up being the nominee of our party. I have to say, I did not see this guy entering the race but there he is, the only man who does not sound like a crackpot, a blooming idiot, or a lying POS. Still, Bloomberg? Really? Is this what we are down to having as our choice? Hillary, it’s time for you to toss your hat back into the fray and this time do what you did back in 2016 and that is win the election-again- but this time to get into the flipping White House.

BLOG POST #3,319 AT THE AICP-END

339 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2020

After today’s post, it’s time to get drunk…

Arvin, CA 93203, 12-02-2019 Monday: Friends, welcome, good morning. We made it through Thanksgiving and are now working toward a successful Christmas and New Year’s Eve. Thanks to President Barack Obama, our economy is doing magnificent and that moron, Donald Trump, continues claiming credit for it. Will the embarrassment never end? Will the loser never experience any shame? Apparently not. The country continues undergoing the embarrassment on the national and international stages, it’s akin to having head lice all over one’s body. Shock of shocks.

There are days when I cannot fathom what the heck is going on in the country? We Democrats put our hopes on Robert S. Mueller III and his Russian collusion investigation and for some unknown yet troubling reason, nothing came of it. Was Mueller in the tank for Trump? If so, that does not bode well for the future of our nation or for the Democratic Party as it sounds the warning bells of the Deep State working for Trump and against us- that was never supposed to be the case.

Then, we found ourselves chomping at the bit when Jerrold Nadler sought to do the improbable and that was- in conjunction with Bob Mueller- to bring down this criminal president. He failed and we Democrats had our lunches eaten again as though we were wimps in grade school.

Then, we had Adam Schiff drag in one bureaucrat after another, bombarding them with question after question and although it sounded like the impeachment inquiry was going in our favor, each of the witnesses- when asked point blank by Republican scum like Devin Nunes ‘is there anything impeachable here’ all said, “NO,” emphatically. I mean, WTF, right? I can’t stand it, it let all the wind out of our sails, like we are in a Sargasso Sea of bull crap.

Now, this week, the ball is back in Jerrold Nadler’s House Judiciary Committee’s ballcourt, are you kidding? Why in the name of God would you give that former fat boy a second chance? So he can drag the party down less than a year out from the next election?

Speaker Pelosi, what the hell is going on? Are you working FOR Donald J. Trump and NOT AGAINST him? There are days when I haven’t a clue as to what side you are on because it sure seems not only to me but to many Americans that you haven’t a clue where the heck you are on any given day. You just go through the motions like some unseen puppet master- Donald Trump possibly- is manipulating your strings. Wake the hell up. Shake off the lethargy or let someone else take the gig because you are not taking us where we want to go.

I mean, when my colleagues suggest you are going soft because you are old and senile, I at first laughed at them and now I wonder…are the other old fogeys in the leadership covering for your declining brain power? Are they covering up the depletion of your gray matter? Are they overlooking deliveries of anti-Alzheimer’s drugs so you can make it through one more year before heading out to pasture? Please say it ain’t so but it sure is beginning to look that way.

Back in June of this year, I compared our obsession with dragging down Donald Trump as being akin to a man having a piece of strange on the other side of the Union Pacific tracks or even worse, in Lamont. Even though the philanderer understands it’s no good, that it’s going nowhere, and that it has the potential to destroy everything he knows and loves, he’s powerless to cut the hoochie loose. Here is exactly what I said:

“The problem is, the Democrats cannot let go of this appetizing piece of ass and it is putting the future of our party and our movement to bring equality and fairness to everyone in the nation in jeopardy. Enough is enough, folks, it’s time to sever the ties with the side piece so friends, let us do that now and begin working on 2020 rather than reliving the disappointment of 2016.” (Davis, 19-June-2019)

I then wrote some posts in the same week in which, I lambasted the losers seeking the nomination of our party while praising the few who might have some semblance of an opportunity to make Trump a one-term president. Since then, quite a few have fallen out like that moron, Beto, yet we have others getting into the scrum like Deval Patrick (who?) and Mike Bloomberg.

In the end, we still have sufficient time to determine who will carry our standard forward to victory and I, for one, hope that either Hillary will return for another go or some as yet unnamed dark horse will emerge from the pack to give us the much-needed win we require so as to maintain our sanity. Jimmy Carter, a second term? Never say never folks because he could win the nomination if he was so inclined.

Wait, I must be crazy, right? Cray-cray as they say? Possibly? Who knows? Possibly?

Time to get drunk- that thirty-year-old bottle of J & B is looking mighty good right now. See you tomorrow.

British Lions released their tertiary effort, “Live at the Old Waldorf San Francisco, California, 1978,” on September 14, 2010 and it did not fare as well as its predecessor.   The band featured John Fiddler (from Medicine Head) (lead vocals/keyboards/rhythm guitar), Ray Major (lead guitar/backing and lead vocals), Overend Watts (bass/backing vocals), Morgan Fisher (organ/backing vocals), and Buffin (drums). For those who have not seen this band live, several us here at the blog did back in the late 1970s and they were superb. Please, seek this one out and consider adding it to yours collection- you will be glad you did as it is wonderful, absolutely wonderful, the only thing lacking are some of the great Mott the Hoople tunes. Please, visit Amazon.com and get it there as we are back in business with them.

Once we accept that China and Mexico are NOT our friends, we can take the necessary steps to force them into line by relocating our industries to friendlier climes or back home

What’s more, I agree with my colleagues: Mexico is NOT our friend and has not been one in a long, long time. Sure, they are angry that we kicked their butts in 1848 but oh, woe is me. What the hell did their government think was going to happen when the SOBS massacred everyone at the Alamo? It was not like we were going to let that one pass us by; no, we went down there and whooped butt and they have been chomping at the bit for decades now, hoping their Reconquista strategy will somehow catch us napping.

516 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2020

Countries such as Mexico and China might think they can get the best of us; however, the shoe will be on the other foot by the time President Trump dispenses with them…

Century City, CA, 06-07-2019 Friday: Every day, we are amazed at the resiliency of President Donald J. Trump.  Gradually, bit-by-bit, ever-so-sneaky, he is accomplishing much of what he promised the American people he was going to do- even as the Democrats believe they are outwitting him.  He is outwitting them and beating them at their own game and unless some horrendous, unexpected calamity befalls him and the American people, by the time he comes up for reelection, he is going to win it hands down, folks, hands down.  The bulldozed, pulverized, railroaded Democrats will be scratching their noggins, wondering ‘what the f**k did this guy, a man we call mentally deranged do to us?  He has destroyed our party’ and poor Speaker Pelosi will be back in the minority in January 2021.

No matter what the Mexicans say, they are going to pay for the border wall, reabsorb millions of the illegals running amok in our country, and will clamp down on their southern border, twenty-times smaller than the one between our country and theirs, as otherwise, there could be an occurrence in Mexico we haven’t seen in a long, long time: a revolution.  My friends, Mexico has had some of the most violent upheavals in recorded history and it would be a shame if such an event were to befall them again.

Just the Facts: Democrats have some great candidates but we also have some that make me want to go ‘WOOF’ like Robert Francis O’Rourke- too untelegenic to be president

Then, there are others such as Elizabeth Warren and Kamala Harris. I think neither one is a viable candidate as to me (and I feel bad saying it) both are phonies. The former claimed to be a Native American, something we all now know she is not, not even remotely so while the other one ‘ain’t down for the struggle’ being the product of Jamaican and Indian (dot) immigrants.

SPRING SESSION 2019

BLOG POST #3,091 AT THE AICP-END

566 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2020

HOLY THURSDAY

We have a diverse slate of candidates seeking the 2020 nomination

Kihei, HI, 04-18-2019 Thursday: Aloha, friends, family, and followers of the American Institute of Culinary Politics-Elemental News of the Day, welcome.  You know, the Democratic Party is fielding a very diverse group of candidates this year, all of them vying to win the inevitable grand prize of being the nominee of our party.  We have some good ones, we have some middling ones, and we have some that make me want to go, “WOOF!”

Now, you know I am partial to Tulsi, I think she would make a fabulous president.  Not only is she a military veteran, she also is a feminine role model who has the people of Hawaii standing firmly behind her.  I think if she is able to navigate the challenging course of racking up enough donors and political backing, there is nothing she cannot do and I look forward to her taking the oath of office in January 2021.

Now, we have some others who are running that make me pause, wonder WHY the heck they are running for anything when they seemingly are a loser.  The man of whom I speak is Beto O’Rourke, Robert Francis to be exact (we love using first and middle names here in the Islands like when I call my hubby, Chono, “Edmund Charles, come here and help me on the cooks’ line!- he comes).”

Now, Robert Francis (where did “Beto” come from anyway?”) is very untelegenic.   As a woman, I can tell you that women look at factors such as this because we vote with our hearts, with our emotions as much as we vote with our intelligence.   This poor guy is a dog, I hate to say it, but there you go and I could never pull the lever or push the chad for him.

Besides, being untelegenic can doom his chances.  This can be the coup d’ grace in the modern political era.  Not only does he look like a loser, he is a loser and if some of the things I hear people saying about him are even remotely true, like, uh, trying to push a green baby turd on his wife saying, ‘it’s an avocado,’ or eating dirt from the New Mexican desert, there is no way we can pick this guy to be our nominee.

Add to this the fact that he LOST to Senator Ted Cruz of Texas.  Yes, he sought to unseat him in his reelection bid as senator from the Lone Star State and lost.  LOST.  Sure, he did not lose by much but why in heck would we want to choose a loser to be our nominee?  It does not look good, nor does it smell good, sort of like a slop bucket left out in the sun a bit too long.  Yccch.

Yet, there’s Robert Francis out there, stumping around the nation, asking his followers to HELP HIM with his campaign platform, you know, give me some planks so I can tell the rest of the nation WHY I am running and for what?  If you have to ask the people who come to listen to YOU to tell YOU what you should be running on (besides open borders), why the heck would anyone waste a vote on YOU?  It makes no flipping sense.

Now, we have heard rumors that Mayor Andrew Gillum of Florida, a man who lost in his bid to win the governorship of Florida in 2018, could be entering the race.  A fellow Florida Mayor Wayne Messam from Miramar is already in the race and he did not lose his last race as Mayor Gillum has.

I sometimes wonder what the heck goes on in the minds of the Democratic Party hierarchy because I think it would behoove us if the people who were seeking HIGHER OFFICE did not lose the previous office for which, they ran.  It makes no sense to me or to Chono.  A loser is a loser is a loser, folks.  The days of Richard M. Nixon are long gone…

One of the other controversial characters in the running is South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg.  He is an openly gay man, which is okay, we are cool with it here in the Islands and have a large LGBTQIA+ population integrated into our society.

While I think ONLY bigots would quibble with him being gay (like the Republican Party who hates gays), I am not sure if our nation is ready for its first gay president.

We must consider our standing around the world and in these times of heightened homophobia, how would Muslim and Arab nations view us?  How would they treat us?  Would they break off ties with us or would they keep us at arm’s length?  I am not sure but if Buttigieg does become our president, I think the milestone we will be setting could cause us increased problems around the world where bigotry resides.

Add to that the fact that both seem to be ‘bitchy’ and one can see the turn-off factor for men who will be required to vote for them if they want our party to win the White House.  It will be as it was with Hillary, loads of people will stay home on Election Day and Donald Trump will win a second term.

We must be smart, folks.  Join me tomorrow and we will continue talking story.

I must say I am amazed that the AICP-END Blog would send up-and-coming Bakersfield, California, street artist, the amazing Simone to Maui to do some photographic portraits of me.  We have moved in this direction since politics have turned millions of people against one another and it is important for us as employers and as private people with families to protect, that we begin covering our actual identities from those seeking to cause us problems.  I must say, Simone has done a fine job and this is a caricature of me that meets with my approval.  My husband and I live and own a restaurant in Kihei, Hawaii, and have also worked in institutional cooking at Maui’s premier hospital up in Wailuku.

Chef Itzi Nakamura writes from Kihei, HI.

Chef Itzi Nakamura is a proud member of the Democratic Party.

FEATURED ALBUM OF THE DAY:

Steve Hackett released his third solo album on May 23, 1979, “Spectral Mornings,” to much acclaim.  The guitarist now assembled a band that would support him on tour as well as on his studio albums.  The group consisted of his brother John (keyboards/synthesizers/flutes), Dik Cadbury (bass/backing vocals), Nick Magnus (keyboards), and Pete Hicks (vocals).  This is an excellent album demonstrating the musical growth the artist would achieve.  We hope you will seek this album out at your favorite venue for nothing but the best in music as you will definitely enjoy it.

Another posthumous release by Spirit came out on October 25, 2004: “Live from the Time Coast 1989-1996.”  The album features Randy California (guitars/vocals), Ed Cassidy (drums/percussion), and Mike Nile (bass) on the road between 1989 and 1996.  There are 29 monumental cuts included here, each of which demonstrates that California (along with Robin Trower) were the sole heirs to the legacy of the late, great Jimi Hendrix.  We urge everyone to use whatever source they do for the best in rock music.  This recording is a definite must-own.  Seek it out now.

The FACES released a comprehensive 4-CD box set compilation on July 20, 2004, “Five Guys Walk into a Bar.”  This album offered some joy to fans as it contained a massive amount of material plus lots of difficult-to-find extras that appeared on B-sides or were left in the can.  The collection was compiled and annotated by Ian McLagan and is such a worthy addition to the collection of this amazing, short-lived band.  One can only contemplate the massive heights to which, they might have soared had not Rod Stewart signed a solo contract before joining the band.  Please seek it out, give it a listen, and add it to your collection- you will love it.
