Now that I know most professional sports leagues hate the country and people like me, I no longer have to waste time or money watching them and buying their costly gear- screw ‘em all!

We can forgive LeBron James for saying what he says because- like Kaepernick – we think his soul’s for sale and that he is not that bright. Everyone knows that Asians typically are racist when it comes to black folks yet we have these pampered, uber-wealthy black American athletes doing the jig on behalf of their Chi-Com paymasters. Whatever happened to patriotism, you ignorant dumb-f**ks?

BLOG POST #3,567 AT THE AICP-END

93 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2020

There is a newfound feeling of exuberance in giving up professional sports- let them move to communist China!

Delano, CA 93216, 08-06-2020 Thursday: Like millions of Americans, I loved– the emphasis is on the past tense of the verb love– professional sports.  I have been a fan of both the Kansas City Chiefs and the New York Giants, loved the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Angels, and loved the Lakers.  I still love the Los Angeles Sparks- for the time being- and love the Los Angeles Kings but no way in hell have I ever been a fan of that effeminate European invasive species sport soccer so screw the Los Angeles team, the Galaxy of whatever the hell they are.

Politics has slowly crept into pro-sports since Barack Hussein Obama became president and since the creation of the Marxist group, Black Lives Matter, the amount of politization of the NFL, NBA, even the MLB and probably soon the WNBA and MLS, it is now impossible to escape seeing it, hearing it, whether in person or on televised broadcasts.[i]

We used to have to contend with Colin frigging Kaepernick taking a knee when Obama was in the White House, hypothetically to protest police interactions with black Americans but then his protests seemed to evolve into protests against our flag, against the National Anthem, against white folks, and now whatever else his Chi-Com masters order him to protest.  Enough is enough.

The death of poor George Floyd followed by the death of Rayshard Brooks[ii] has ginned up the intensity of the protests that now seem to permeate the sports world.  We had that dimwit Bubba Wallace sniveling about a garage door pulldown that purportedly appeared to be a noose which turned out to be nothing as every garage at the racetrack had a similar door pulldown.[iii]

Still, all the white drivers and pit crews felt compelled to virtue signal by going out and walking Wallace’s car to the starting line to tell the rest of us that ‘we aren’t racists but you watching it sure as hell might be.’  Oh, please.

We had the incident where LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers had to blast Houston Rockets executive Daryl Morey for tweeting a single pro-Hong Kong freedom message.  The so-called ‘king’ had to chide Morey by letting him know that ‘sure, you have a right to speak your mind but the rest of us WOKE folks have the right to punish you for exercising your free speech rights.’  I mean, WTF?[iv]

We can forgive LeBron James for saying what he says because- like Kaepernick[v]– we think his soul’s for sale and that he is not that bright.  Everyone knows that Asians typically are racist when it comes to black folks yet we have these pampered, uber-wealthy black American athletes doing the jig on behalf of their Chi-Com paymasters.  Whatever happened to patriotism, you ignorant dumb-f**ks?

They say the NBA is the BIGGEST sport in communist China, which is fine, but NBA commissioner Adam Silver should remember that as of now, HIS league is an AMERICAN LEAGUE, not a Chi-Com federation, so if people being able to exercise their ability to speak their minds upsets HIM and the so-called ‘king,’ then perhaps he should move the league to mainland China and take all the loser players with him[vi].

The NFL should follow suit, too, because far too many players are ignorant of just what it is they enjoy here in this country.  Like their buddies in the National Basketball Association, they are wealthier than Midas and their tennis shoes and clothing lines make BIG MONEY, gear and shoes most likely created in Uighur re-education camps by Uighurs being ‘re-educated,’ slaves who don’t make a cent for working 18 hours per day and who receive the lash across their backs if they don’t keep up with the quotas imposed on them.[vii]

Now, Major League Baseball wants to join in the ‘fun’ by putting BLACK LIVES MATTER across the pitching mounds and anywhere else in which, they can shove it in.  The moment baseball opened and I saw that BS on TV is the moment I flipped the switch and shut the TV off.[viii]

As I said, I used to enjoy the NFL, the NBA, loved the MLB, watched the WNBA, but now, all I think I can do is to watch the National Hockey League until they begin acting like the fool, too, in imitation of their neighbors.  It’s monkey see, monkey do.

If they do follow in the footsteps of the others, they will lose me and loads of other people I know because friends, there are two important things to learn here: ALL LIVES MATTER as does patriotism[ix].  IF you are American, act American, otherwise, shut up as otherwise, you will lose the American people.

I know I am just about done with all of them and to tell you the truth, this newfound feeling of freedom is very enlivening.  No more wasted time, no more wasted money, there are far too many other things in life than watching people play games who seem to HATE me and everyone I know.

Please, let me know what YOU think about the end of professional sports in the United States.  Enough with the politics.  Enough.

This is a cartoonish caricature of me, one created by up-and-coming Bakersfield street artist, Simone, one I am pleased to say looks ‘rather good.’  I have been in professional food service for a long, long time, moving into management back in 1973.  At the time, I was the Food and Beverage Director at one of the hotels in Bakersfield, CA, located on Union Avenue.  I was in my late thirties at the time.  I am still working at one of the local hotels in the nearby town of Delano, CA, a place that has been my home for the past 10 years.  Our city has experienced marvelous growth and is fast becoming a player in county politics.

FOOTNOTES:

[i] Millions of Americans were salivating over the return of professional sports because we thought that maybe we could evade politics for a short while.  Well, opening day for each sport shot that down really quick with people protesting and woke announcers lecturing us.  We do not deserve that nor are we going to sit still and take it.  It’s amazing what other things people find to do when something they once loved now makes them ill to their stomachs.  Enough is frigging enough.  NO more sports.  No more.

[ii] What happened to George Floyd was monstrous but I tend to agree with my colleagues that what happened to him occurred because of a personal beef between the two men.  It would be great if investigators would inform the American people as to whatever the hell it was but since they aren’t (or won’t), people think it is a white cop on black perp interaction gone wrong. As for Rayshard Brooks, I am going to say something that will upset many: I think he brought what happened on himself.  There.  I said it.  They guy interacted with the officers for 45 minutes and then when they sought to arrest him, he went berserk.  Enough is enough on this matter, too.  Don’t fight the cops.

[iii] Was this a load of crap or what?  I think he was trying to pull a “Jussie Smollett.”  Need I say more?  It’s bad enough we do have occasional hate crimes but where one does not exist you feel the need to create one?  In my view, you go to prison for five years.

[iv] Let’s ‘Cancel’ LeBron James.  That punk is  a dumb ass and I wish he’s remained in Cleveland where he belonged and not f**ked up my team.  Then again, I won’t be watching the Lakers anymore so thank you, “King James.”  Asshole.

[v] Kaepernick is the REAL moron.  A so-so quarterback, he was smart enough to recognize he played for s**t so he began a new career as a professional agitator.  Shame.

[vi] Move the entire league to communist China.  We will check back in with you in five years or so and see how you feel then.  Bunch of pricks.

[vii] And the WOKE claim to not like slavery.  Well, the people making their gear are slaves.  Hypocrites.

[viii] I NEVER thought Major League Baseball would sell out; guess I was wrong.

[ix] Patriotism is all that matters.  How about exhibiting some you wealthy morons?

Our NFL predictions this year were somewhat way off when we said Super Bowl LIV would be between the 49ers and the Pats and that San Fran would win; we were close until the KC Chiefs proved us wrong- congrats

What we saw yesterday was so much better.  A close, hard-fought game between two storied teams, each of them deserving of the BIG WIN but only one who could.  That team, the Kansas City Chiefs, did one hell of a job, winning by a final score of 31-20.  Congratulations to Coach Andy Reid, congratulations to the Hunt Family, congratulations to Patrick Mahomes, and congratulations to BOTH teams for an exciting game.

WINTER SESSION 2020

BLOG POST #3,382 AT THE AICP-END

277 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2020

Congratulations to the Kansas City Chiefs

Weedpatch, CA 93241, 02-03-2020 Monday:  One of the tragic things about Google Blogger shutting down our two blogs at the American Institute of Culinary Politics-Elemental News of the Day is that the SOBS eradicated a decade of the best in rock music and the artworks of my mother, Beverly Carrick.  This is something which my colleagues and I will never forgive and we look forward to suing the living bejezzus out of them one day.  They most certainly deserve it.

Anyhow, we are moving over here and still feeling our way so we hope at some point to begin the process all over again.  Far too many people around the world have enjoyed our musical selections and my mom’s paintings for a lengthy period of time that for an un-American company with globalist, left-wing intentions to declare success, case closed simply is not right.

What’s more, we detest Sundar Pichai and think he poses one of the greatest threats to the American Way of life- including our God-given freedoms- that the people of the world must push this left-wing hack back.  Screw him.

The question is, how do we move forward?  Well, we are going to do our best to update and backdate the older posts so that the readers will be able to see them here.  We love WordPress and know they love us, too, so what is there to lose?  Little to nothing other than 10 years of time, folks, 10 years of time.

You see, that is the tragedy of the whole thing, to believe that 24 diverse and unique authors who have given considerable portions of their time to contribute to our two blogs have had the rug yanked out from beneath them.

The other thing that pisses everyone off- including numerous clients and customers of Google Blogger is that there is NO way to contact them other than via snail mail unless the victims pony up the cash for a’ go-between’ who PROMISES to be the intermediary.  How the heck does that work?  No one seems to know.

Alas, here we are today, discussing yesterday’s Big Game.  Super Bowl LIV.  The San Francisco 49ers v. the Kansas City Chiefs.  We arrived at a prediction earlier in the year that the game would feature the 49ers vs. the New England Patriots and that Jimmy G. would beat Tommy B.  Then, the Tennessee Titans knocked the Patriots out in the Wild Card round.  Ooops.

Then, we said that the Super Bowl would occur between the San Francisco 49ers and the Baltimore Ravens and that Lamar Jackson would whoop Jimmy G.  Ooops again as the Tennessee Titans rolled into Baltimore and cleaned the Ravens’ clocks.  Gee whiz, who would ever have expected that outcome?  No one I know, that’s for sure.

I guess there is something to be said for playing in the Wild Card round as not doing so is not always a good thing.  Then again, there is something to be said for not resting your key players in the final week of the regular season and then not having to play until the Divisional Round, leaving a span of two weeks’ inactivity between starts.  Did not work out so well for the poor Ravens.

At least in the Pro Bowl, the AFC beat the NFC 38-33 with Lamar Jackson earning the MVP award for his rock-solid play.  Congratulations, we hope to see the Ravens bounce back in 2020-2021 and make it to the Big Game.

Anyhow, the Super Bowl yesterday was so much better than last year’s fiasco between the Los Angeles Rams and the New England Patriots.  What a slumber party, a snooze fest, so flipping bad.  We all thought that Tommy B. would take his ‘big win’ and retire but nope, not to be, greedy little s**t.

I expect to see both teams back in action next year and who knows?  Maybe we will see a repeat matchup of the two.

See you tomorrow.

As far as my family and I are concerned, impeachment of Donald Trump is over and done so can we please move on and enjoy the booming economy and the positive change going on all around us? Please?

Much to the chagrin of many, I have told you that Tibe and me and quite a few family members are going to vote for him in November. We don’t mention our defections to the neighbors or to our employees because we feel like runaway slaves heading north with Harriet Tubman.

WINTER SESSION 2020

BLOG POST #3,381 AT THE AICP-END

278 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2020

Politics is a contact sport but enough is enough, Dems, give it a rest already…

Wasco, CA 93280, 02-02-2020 Sunday:  Well, Friday was the day and things did not go well for the Democrats in the House and Senate who have been down upon their knees praying that the impeachment trial would plod onward and that President Trump would forever be underneath a black, low-hanging cloud.  The fact that things did not go the way as planned tells me the whole thing was nothing but a politicized ploy, a tactic, one the leadership of my party thought would be the silver bullet with which to take out the werewolf who gives them the night terrors.

I get it, Adam Schiff, Jerry Nadler, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer and the rest of the Democrats in Congress all hate the president and want to see him gone.  They call him names, infer he is a dictator, a king, a thug, you name it, and using the power of the bully pulpit he punches them back three times, four times as hard.  Ouch.  Politics is a contact sport, just like today’s super bowl.

I know the aforementioned Democrats have put bank on getting Trump out because it has become personal for them.  Most Republican presidents stand there and take it like martyrs or because they accept that the nonstop assault comes with the territory but not Trump and that is why so many Republicans and now Democrats and independents support the man.

Much to the chagrin of many, I have told you that Tibe and me and quite a few family members are going to vote for him in November.  We don’t mention our defections to the neighbors or to our employees because we feel like runaway slaves heading north with Harriet Tubman.

Moreover no one can tell us that the booming economy and positivity most people walk around with is a result of President Obama’s policies because they most certainly are not.  Donald Trump bears full responsibility for what we are experiencing and none of us want it to stop or go away.

Even more of a driving force in our plans to vote for Trump is look at what is going on in our party.  Bernie Sanders, a non-Democrat, could very well be our nominee.  Most sane Democrats are not going to vote for him or for Elizabeth Warren or that puffed up little piece of canned obnoxiousness Mayor Pete.  We also can’t go with billionaires like Tom Steyer and Michael Bloomberg who are doing everything possible to buy the nomination and then- if they win- tell us how we can and cannot live our lives.

I know some of my Democratic friends say that ‘Trump bought the presidency back in 2016.’  As I recall, he spent almost nothing on ads because every news show on every channel invited him on because they thought they could laugh at him or belittle him or whatever they thought and he knocked out 16 other Republicans.   He knocked them out while everyone was pointing their fingers at him, laughing at him, mocking him.

I will admit, when he questioned Barack Obama’s citizenship, Tibe and me were pissed but due to economic gains, our IRAs going up like the dickens, the fact that our business is booming, we are in the black now more than ever and our employees are seeing pay increases so what is there not to like?  Let bygones be bygones.

Friends, I will be back in six months, the Lord willing, so let us leave it at that.  If my party’s leaders would leave Trump alone, they might be able to recover some dignity and some sanity but I seriously doubt that they will or can.  This will lead to a mess at our convention in Milwaukee later in the summer and if things continue going the way they are, what happened in Chicago in 1968 might look like nothing compared to what IS going to happen.

Today, I am going to close with this: I think the Kansas City Chiefs will beat the San Francisco 49ers simply because Andy Reid has been in a super bowl as a coach and lost so I think this time, his experience will lead his team to a victory for the first time in 50 years.  This is not to diminish the other side one bit; I am just saying what I think.  I guess we shall see.

Until next time.  God bless you all, bless our country, and please, give the leaders of my party some peace and allow their common sense to return.

Just the Facts: advice to the LA Rams: follow the Eagles’- and not the Falcons’- game plan, do not go cold, put points on the board as often as you can, don’t look back, and you will beat the New England Patriots

It now seems that the ‘showtime’ Los Angeles Rams are slated to be the NFC equivalent of the ‘bad boys from Boston’ New England Patriots. Like the Boston Celtics and the Los Angeles Lakers, bookmakers and the sports league seem to favor certain matchups and if ‘other teams’ threaten the marquee matchup, unless they overcome by a massive amount, I fear the calls will go against them.

WINTER SESSION 2019

BLOG POST #3,007 AT THE AICP-END

650 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2020

NFL officiating seems to favor certain teams…last weekend, it was the Rams and the Patriots but in Super Bowl LIII on February 03, they will favor the Pats with exclusivity so to win, the Rams must pound the snot out of them…and never look back

Mukilteo, WA, 01-24-2019 Thursday:  Friends, as a fan of the Seahawks, I am appalled at how my team has declined.  That said, this past Sunday in the NFL has everyone in an uproar and once again, it is the officiating more than the players or the plays on the field.  I think that the New Orleans Saints were horribly robbed just as I think the Kansas City Chiefs suffered at the hands of the officials who tremble making calls against the Pats.  However, the Saints have the real gripe and we can only hope that perhaps next season, changes will be made in the officiating and that the rules preventing irrevocable errors that make it seem that some games are ‘fixed’ will change.

We will discuss the Saints-Rams game first.  There was the staggering call when Rams defensive back Nickell-Robey Coleman leveled Saints wide receiver Tommylee Lewis as he went up to catch a pass.  The official on the sidelines was right there observing the hit.  People in the stands saw the hit, either watched it occur before their eyes or up on the jumbotron above both ends of the field as did millions upon millions of football fans around the globe.

There is no doubt that what happened to Lewis was a flagrant foul and should have put the Saints halfway to the endzone and a certain touchdown.  Coleman never looked back to see if he could make the catch, thereby creating an interception and perhaps taking it the other way, not once did he look backwards, his only intent was smashing his opponent, yet nothing negative befell him or his team and the Rams now are in the Super Bowl.

I will say this: the NFL has a long, long memory and even though coach Sean Payton had to sit out an entire season over his then-defensive coordinator Gregg Williams placing ‘bounties’ on opposing players during their Super Bowl run, some things are so egregious that they are never forgotten.

You see, it seems that cosmic fate either intervened or the league itself stipulated that ‘unless the Saints blow out their playoff opponents making the results irrefutable, they will never play in another Super Bowl as long as the same league officials remain.  This is their punishment for having made the league look bad.’

There is no question in the minds of anyone- including Nickell-Robey Coleman who mentioned that he ‘got away with one’ that what he did was BAD.  Everyone knew it was a foul that should have given the Saints fantastic field position and most likely a great chance at winning the game and advancing but nope, not happening, not in this game.

On the other side of the league in the AFC Championship Game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the perennial favorites, the New England Patriots, everyone around Washington state was hoping against hope that the Chiefs and their stunning young quarterback, Patrick Mahomes, was going to light up veteran Tom Brady and finally get the Chiefs back to the Super Bowl; alas, it also was not to be.

There were calls favoring the Patriots more so than the Chiefs, something to be expected because until the Pats go down to blazing defeat and return to being a normal team rather than the ‘golden boys’ they seemingly are, it seems officials always give them the benefit of the doubt more so than their opponents.

However, Kansas City had a miserable first half, being unable to score points of any kind.  They marched up and down the field, never doing what they had done all season long, racking up points like there was no tomorrow.  The game played between KC and the Pats earlier in the year was an offensive slugfest, one in which, it came down to the final possession and with the Pats having the ball, there it was: 43-40.

Take for instance, the previous two Super Bowls, LI and LII.  In the first one, the Atlanta Falcons, a less than ‘big marquee team’ was pounding the snot out of the Patriots.  I mean, it was as bad as it could get.  In the first half, they put up point after point and it appeared that Tom Brady, Bill Belichick, and the boys were going to go down to ignominious defeat, the kind that would stain them forever and perhaps drop them to the ranks of regular teams.

Following half time (and something must change about the length of the spectacle as it tends to slow the team with the momentum), the Falcons returned and played prevent defense, it was almost as if they began to doubt what they had accomplished during the first half.  It was as if the wind had gone out of their sails and like Mitt Romney (we discuss him tomorrow) doing battle with Barack Obama in 2012, after doing so damned good prior to the half (Romney in the first debate), they went cold- ice cold.

In going cold, the Patriots were able to perform the ‘greatest, most magnificent comeback in the history of the Super Bowl’ by beating the Falcons by a final score of 34-28, in overtime, no less.  Matt Ryan and the Falcons stood on the cusp of history but because they turned to ice when they needed to continue emitting nuclear fission, they gave the Pats yet another Super Bowl victory.  Reminded me how the Seahawks blew it in Super Bowl XLIX.

The Seahawks had that victory in hand, would have won their second in a row and would have commenced a dynasty but it was not to be.  Instead of going for a running score, Pete Carroll told Russel Wilson to pass the ball, right into the hands of a defender allowing them to hold on with a slim lead in the final seconds, winning 28-24.

In last year’s Super Bowl, the one between Nick Foles and the Eagles and the Patriots, the Eagles learned from the lessons of the Falcons thrashing by continuing to push up offense, never giving the Patriots an opportunity to get beyond them.  They did not slip into prevent defense, they did not see their veins freeze, their breath turn to solid ice, they continued pounding and passing the football and beat the Patriots by a final score of 41-33 in regular time.  It was stupendous. It can be done.

I will root for the Rams on February 03.  Let us hope their coach recognizes what it will take to deny the Patriots their second Super Bowl victory in a row and sixth all-time.  Let us hope they continue pounding, pounding, pounding the football and they take care to watch out for unnecessary penalties because the officials will call them against them to protect the Patriots.  It is what it is.

Not saying the game is fixed but unless the Rams put points on the board throughout the game, the Patriots will find ways- aided by officials- to deny them a victory.  We shall see.

WE CONTINUE PRESENTING THE MUSIC OF THE REMARKABLE BRITISH ROCK BAND, QUEEN:

THURSDAY, JANUARY 24, 2019

Queen’s unparalleled drummer, Roger Taylor, released his first solo effort on June 01, 1981, “Fun in Space.”  Not only did he play drums and percussion, he also contributed guitar, bass, keyboards, and lead and backing vocals.  Unfortunately, it flopped in the United States because record companies being record companies, did not put any promotional effort into it so shame on them as it is a great album and Taylor is a superb vocalist in his own right.  We hope you will seek it out at whatever venue you go to purchase nothing but the best music.  You will enjoy it.

FEATURED ALBUM OF THE DAY:

Queen’s unparalleled drummer, Roger Taylor, released his first solo effort on June 01, 1981, “Fun in Space.”  Not only did he play drums and percussion, he also contributed guitar, bass, keyboards, and lead and backing vocals.  Unfortunately, it flopped in the United States because record companies being record companies, did not put any promotional effort into it so shame on them as it is a great album and Taylor is a superb vocalist in his own right.  We hope you will seek it out at whatever venue you go to purchase nothing but the best music.  You will enjoy it.

The next album by San Francisco band, HOT TUNA, was a double LP live album, the acclaimed “Double Dose,” which came out on March 13, 1978.  On the first side of the set, Jorma Kaukonen performs acoustic classics and then on sides two through four, the rest of the band (Jack Casady (bass), and Bob Steeler (drums), and Nick Buck (keyboards) join him for an ever-increasing exposition of hard-rock power.  This would be the final effort for several years as the musicians chose to veer off in their own avenues of creativity.  We hope you will seek the album out wherever you buy the most amazing music.  You will love it.

Peter Frampton released his fourth solo effort, “Frampton” on March 03, 1975.  The band now featured Frampton (guitars/keyboards/lead vocals), Andy Bown (bass), John Siomos (drums and percussion) along with help from pianist Poli Palmer.  The guitarist was continuing the pace performing more rock-oriented tunes but with his own unique melodic signatures and details that enthrall the listener more so than his previous effort.  We hope you will search out this album wherever you can find it and add it to your growing collection of amazing British rock.  We love it as will you.
