Just the Facts: we announce the winners of the First Annual Lavrentiy Beria Award today: outgoing California Governor Jerry Brown and current Attorney-General Xavier Becerra

Avenatti is down there in the mud with the bottom-feeders, with the murk-dwellers, down there where the garbage and refuse drifts as it becomes waterlogged. To think he once had an opportunity to win the First Annual Lavrentiy Beria Award now seems laughable as the man is little more than a cretin with a law license. He deserves nothing but a stint in the joint where he can learn firsthand what it is like to be a ‘porn star.’

Congratulations to winners of the First Annual Lavrentiy Beria Award, Governor Jerry “Moonbeam” Brown and California Attorney-General Xavier Becerra

Oildale, CA, 01-03-2019 Thursday: Good glorious morning, friends and colleagues, readers and viewers, today is the day when we announce the winner of the First Annual Lavrentiy Beria Award, a facetious award going to the person or persons or group most deserving of the “Beria Treatment,” i.e., dragged down by the legs into the bowels of the Lubyanka Prison in Moscow, put up against the wall, and popped in the back of the neck.  Of course, we are NOT promoting violence because this is merely a ‘humorous award’ but in this day and age of vigorous political debates, rising political anger, and a fracturing of the country along fault lines, there is a need for a jolly good award such as this one.

My only sadness in handing out the prize is that we could not put some people BACK on the list.  Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf, un-apologetic as ever when it comes to standing strong and alerting illegal aliens criminals of impending ICE raids should have a place back on it.  Perhaps next year.

Others such as incoming Republican senator from Utah and 2012 GOP presidential candidate, Mitt Romney, should be back on it what with his recent editorial in the Washington Post in which, he blasted President Donald J. Trump.  The sad fact that in the first round he merely achieved ZERO votes meant at the time he was a political nobody whereas now, this traitorous Republican once again has put himself back into the limelight; maybe next year.

Once again, we had our families, friends, neighbors, relatives, employees, and purveyors send in their votes, the BIG THREE finalists being (1) Michael Avenatti (who had the lion’s share of votes in the last round of semi-finals what with 451 votes); (2) Antifa (376 votes) and (3) outgoing California Governor Jerry “Moonbeam” Brown and then- and- current Attorney General Xavier Becerra bringing up the rear with 136 votes.

The wildcard in all of this is that current events can and do play a major role in the selection of the winner.  Michael Avenatti, the infamous porn lawyer and apparent mobbed-up scumbag who did everything in his power to get Judge Brett Kavanaugh stopped before he became Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh now is at the bottom as he has sunk to where he should have long ago.

Antifa, the group that CLAIMS to be defenders of justice and liberty and foes of fascism are indeed fascists themselves.  Any person who has ever had to contend with bully boys wearing brown shirts of white robes with hoods or who walk around demanding an end to Zionism understands that Antifa is EXACTLY what it brays it is NOT: they are fascists and have become the military wing of the Democratic Party.

However, other than terrorizing downtown Portland, Oregon, and a few other places, they have done nothing of recent note to propel them to the top.  In fact, they are sad little spoiled rotten wealthy white boys playing at what their mothers and fathers might truly have been when the Vietnam War was raging: antiwar protesters.

One can form a mob and then go out and accost two Latino-American U.S. Marines on a street corner in downtown Philly, beat them, kick them, stomp them, all the while throwing white racial slurs at them but that does not mean one has nobility or that their cause is just.  No, Antifa needs to be destroyed by the United States Department of Justice because in this country, we do not permit violent mobs to assault innocent people on the streets.

Now, for Governor Jerry Brown and his AG Xavier Becerra, they were at the BOTTOM of the list last week because other than being far-left liberal pieces of feculence, they had done not much other than be a thorn in the side of patriotic Americans as they continue doing battle with the Trump administration and with ICE in the defense of illegal aliens.

Then, another unthinkable crime occurred, the murder of Newman, California, police corporal, Ronil Singh, a man who left his wife and infant child on Christmas morning to go out and enforce the law.  What happened to him is shocking because it never should have happened and yet it did, thanks to the Sanctuary State policies forced down the throats of California’s citizens.  An illegal alien murdered him in cold blood.

Of course, the voting base for the award erupted in anger.  People said, “When is this going to stop?  Do we have to run every elected California Democrat out of office before we can return to being a piece of the United States again?”  This sort of outrage should never happen and yet, it did, and police captured the illegal alien perp along with members of his family who were sheltering him between the towns of Lamont and Arvin.

They were waiting until it was safe enough to sneak him back into Mexico, a place where previous deportations had deposited him.  I bet he wished he had stayed there but no, he came back into the United States yet again, got behind the wheel intoxicated and then had his fateful run-in with officer Singh.

Here is how the voting went:

California Governor Jerry Brown and Attorney General Xavier Becerra: 786 votes.

Antifa: 164 votes.

Michael Avenatti: 13 votes.

Antifa qualifies for second place so they win the booby prize, the Nadaraia and Sarkisian Award while Mr. Avenatti in distant third place, sort of like Ultima Thule, which the New Horizons space probe flew by on New Year’s Day, to the planet Earth wins the toilet bowl crapper.  Congratulations to outgoing Governor Brown and to current AG Becerra.  You two have won the First Annual Lavrentiy Beria Award.

I will see you tomorrow. Congrats, Jerry and AG Becerra: YOU deserve YOUR AWARD!

FEATURED ALBUM OF THE DAY:

Wishbone Ash (BACKTRACK- one we left out of the proper rotation) released a limited edition release on June 08, 1999, “From the Archives 2,” that included interviews with the original members, classic cuts, and other gems from the dim dark past.  If you have yet to introduce the music of this outstanding British band to your ears, this is an excellent way in which to do it.  We hope you will use the link so you can visit Amazon.com where you can pick it up in the format, the condition, and the price that works best for you- you will be glad you did.

Due to increased use of LSD and other drugs, founding member of Moby Grape- Skip Spence, guitarist/vocalist/guiding light- had to leave the band because of erratic behavior.  The remaining four members- Jerry Miller (lead guitar/vocals), Don Stevenson (drums/vocals) Peter Lewis (guitars/vocals), and Bob Mosley (bass/vocals)- released their next effort, “Moby Grape ’69,” on January 30, 1969.  The band was moving towards a different sound now much like the Byrds and the spin-off, Flying Burrito Brothers, to a more ‘countrified sound.’  Unfortunately, the world was not yet ready for ‘country rock’ and so the album languished on the charts.  Still, it is an excellent album and a forerunner of what was to come that would lead to Poco and the Eagles.  Please, use the link we provide you here so you can visit Amazon.com.  Once there, you can pick it up in the format, price, and condition you like.  We thank you.

The FACES released their best effort on November 17, 1971, “A Nod is as Good as a Wink…to a Blind Horse.”  Once again, the lineup featured Rod Stewart (vocals, lead and backing, harmonica), Ronnie Wood (guitars/backing vocals), in the lineup along with Ronnie Lane (bass guitars/lead and backing vocals), Ian McLagan (keyboards/backing vocals), and Kenney Jones (drums).  The album generated their one and only major radio hit, “Stay with Me,” and demonstrated that this band was on the road to global success.  We love this album and encourage everyone to seek it out at your favorite site to buy CDs and LPs, it is a must-own effort.
