  61. 2021 Sunday F: Joe Biden’s Border Catastrophe– By our count, today is Day No. 83 for the so-called ‘Border Czar,’ the ‘Cackling Jackal,’ “Kooky Kamala” Harris[xviii] to be in this extremely important job and doing nothing except sitting at home watching Heckyll and Jeckyll cartoons.  Speaking of “Kooky,” former Acting Secretary of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Chad Wolf told Newsmax that the ‘vice president’ has no excuse for not rushing down to the border NOW.   How much does she get paid per year?   Meanwhile, down in Texas, the Border Patrol announces the seizure of a stash house with more than 100 illegal aliens sitting in chain-link cages.  Next, Lara Trump told Newsmax that ‘residents living along the southern border may have to take security matters into their hands’- precisely what we have been saying for a long time now.  Arm up, go hunting.  Bring in the scalps.[xix]
  62. 2021 Sunday G: Foreign News / Overseas News–  Sadly, a report says that nine coalminers in Columbia died in a mine explosion.  Next, the Israeli Parliament held the vote today to form a new government and it looks like Benjamin Netanyahu is going to be out as prime minister.  He was voted OUT by a vote of 60-59. (Note- as soon as the bombs commence falling, the rockets and missiles come roaring in, and a new Intifada fires up, he’ll be back.  He’s the only one who can save them).  Elsewhere, Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro found himself slapped with a fine for NOT wearing a mask.   In other foreign and overseas news, “America’s Mayor” Rudy Giuliani blasts whoever is telling Joe Biden to ‘make nice’ with Iran saying, ‘we can’t cave to the Iranians.’  Speaking of the Iranians, they are saying there’s no way they are going to return to the JCPOA until AFTER their upcoming elections.  Moving on, the G7 leaders say they are going to ‘combat communist China, the Chi-Vi, and climate.’  Boy, we bet everyone feels safe.
  63. 2021 Sunday H: COVID-19 Updates and Additional Information– A Chi-Com bigwig came out today and called the ‘Wuhan lab leak theory’ absurd.  Straight from the horse’s mouth.  Speaking of the Chi-Coms, Chi-Com researchers claim to have found Chi-Vi strains genetically similar to the Kung Flu in 24 bats they have been studying.  Moving on, World Health Organization boss (and Chi-Com stooge) Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus says that the ‘vaccine need far outstrips the pledge by the G7 nations to make the vaccines available to the developing, aka Third World.’  (Note- they can have ours- give it to them ASAP).  Meanwhile, the G7 is doing some chest-thumping demanding the Chi-Coms explain the origins of the Chi-Vi.
  64. 2021 Sunday I: Joe Biden News– A news report today says that ‘Joe Biden won’t be holding a joint press conference with Russia dictator Vladimir Putin hold their summit on the 16th.’  Of course, no explanation was given but let us give you ours: IF Joe and Vlad held a joint press conference, Vladimir would tear him a new one.  In this case, Joe’s handlers can put the earpiece in his ear and ‘Barack Hussein Obama’ can then speak through Joe’s mouth and say all sorts of garbage about how he put Putin in check.  Watch for it.  (As if this isn’t bad enough, U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken says the summit won’t be a ‘light switch moment’ (whatever that means).  Meanwhile, former U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo says he’s ‘looking for actions, not words from the ‘Putin-Biden summit.’  In other negative news regarding the Manchurian candidate, Grover Norquist told Newsmax TV that drooling ‘Joe is taking Jimmy Carter steps towards inflation.’  Yikes.  (Note- regarding the G7 Summit, President Donald J. Trump slams French President (the effete snob) Emanuel Macron (this guy has mother issues, too) for having ‘welcomed Joe Biden to the club.’  (Don’t worry, President Trump will be back.  Soon).
  65. 2021 Sunday J: Political News I– The Republican National Committee says that it may not participate in future televised network debates unless drastic changes are not made to the format.  Good for them.  Next, GOP lawmakers reintroduce a bill with which, to club BIG TECH back into line.  Let’s see how that goes.  In other political news, House Speaker Nancy “Mumbles” Pelosi, D-CA 12th congressional district, says she ‘still has not given up hope that Senator Joe Manchin, D-W. VA, will see the light and support her election-stealing H.R. 1 and S. 1 in the U.S. Senate.’  Elsewhere, Democrats are upset because U.S. Attorney General Merrick “The Mole” Garland will continue to use DOJ lawyers to defend President Trump from ‘rape allegations’ lodged against him while he was president.  Yikes.  Poor Democrats.  For the meantime, Rep. Mike McCaul, R-TX 10th congressional district, says ‘it’s time we start hitting back at the Russkies for their cyberattacks on us.’  Amen.
  66. 2021 Sunday K: Political News II– The ongoing 2020 Election Audit in Maricopa County, Arizona, is attracting GOP political tourists from across the country to see how well it’s going there so it can be replicated in their home states.  Next, former U.S. Attorney General William “Bill” Barr and other top DOJ officials deny the FAKE NEWS story in which, claims were made the Barr-led DOJ subpoenaed the phone records of some Democrats in Congress to see who was doing all the leaking throughout the Trump administration.  Next, in a blow to liberal racists, the U.S. Supreme Court is going to hear the Harvard University race-based admissions case in which, Asian students are kept at arm’s length in favor of less-qualified black and Hispanic students.  Cool.
  67. 2021 Sunday L: The Wrap-Up– News reports said today that a ‘pandemic first,’ this past Friday, 2 million people were screened at U.S. airports.  Next, the Pentagon says it’s going to review the Missile Defense System.  Elsewhere, Los Angeles County Sheriff Lee Baca heard the cries of property and business owners in Venice Beach, California, and has sent sheriff’s deputies in there to clean up the vast homeless encampments clogging the beaches, overrunning the streets, and killing the city.  Although Venice Beach is nominally under the control of Los Angeles Mayor Eric “The Grub” Garcetti’s LAPD, the LASD says they are not ‘displacing them but helping them.’  About f***ing time.   Finally, some nitwit writing for some left-wing rag says, ‘apple pie is now racist’- so says Raj Patel.  (Why don’t you worry about RACIST Pakistani foods, you sniveling POS?)  Oh, well- let’s eat some more of it…
  68. 2022 Monday: Let’s hope it’s a slow one today…

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

The next album from the Beach Boys is yet another the critics panned with malevolent abandon: “L.A. (Light Album),” a record that came out on March 19, 1979.  Once again, we are going to deviate from the norm and go against the strident voices of the critics and to tell you that this album is phenomenal.  Sure, it might not be from the band’s classic era but folks, this album is stunning in its overall sound, musicianship, and as a guidepost of the group leaving the 1970s and jumping into the 1980s.  The opening tune, “Good Timin’,” is such a lovely song, one that harkens back to the earlier sound of the group when it was leaving the Surf Rock genre for the psychedelic/TM sound of the early to mid-1970s.  Sung by Carl, it’s a superb album opener.  Next, we have Alan Jardine’s “Lady Lynda,” another beautiful tune.  Next, is Carl Wilson’s “Full Sail,” which ranks among the top 10 favorites for many fans.  Absolutely evocative of longing amidst the deep blue sea.  Then, we have Dennis’ “Angel Come Home.”  The guy’s voice has gone to shit but the song is an absolute delight as is the following tune, another Dennis concoction, “Love Surrounds Me.”  Side One closes out with Mike Love’s “Sumahama.”  Good stuff.  Side Two opens with the epic remake of “Here Comes the Night,” only disco form which goes on for a stunning 11-plus minutes.  Excellent stuff and on the radio back in the day, all we can say is ‘wow.’  Then we have the emotional “Baby Blue” sung by Carl and Dennis, beautiful to behold.  Following that, we have Carl’s “Goin’ South,” followed by the closer, the Carl Wilson-sung, “Shortenin’ Bread.”[xx]  While some might question the closing tune, it remains one of our favorites to this day.  We hope you will seek this album out and make sure you add it to your collection as you will be glad you did.  You know what we say: “FUCK THE CRITICS, like it for yourselves.”

  62. 2019 Tuesday: The New York Times reports that President Donald J. Trump knew of the so-called whistleblower complaint at the time he withheld $391 million in military aid to the Ukraine earlier in the week.  Next week, impeachment hearings will begin in earnest as the raving lunatic Democrats are determined to remove the 45th president for ‘trumped up charges.’   Meanwhile, illicit videos make it out of Iran showing the government’s bloody crackdown on protesters demanding FREEDOM.  It’s not pretty what with blood flowing in the streets of Tehran and in other cities around that deplorable country.
  63. 2020 Thursday:  The Israeli military is gearing up for war with Iran in case President Donald J. Trump decides to light up the Shiite nation.  Meanwhile, the U.S. Supreme Court strikes down New York Governor Andrew “Killer” Cuomo’s ban on church services during the Chi-Com-Virus (“CCV”) outbreak ravaging the Empire State, one inflicted upon the citizens of the state by the ignorant governor and his moronic sidekick, NYC Mayor Bill Di Blasio.  Good going!  Elsewhere, Disney announces that it will be laying off another 32,000 employees due to all the Chinese Virus lockdowns and restrictions left-wing governors and mayors are imposing on their theme parks.  Finally, that dimwit Joe Scarborough of “Morning Joe” infamy says he ‘won’t be going back to the GOP because it supported Donald J. Trump.’  We don’t need you, you worthless POS.  By the way, how’s your wife, Mika?  She wears the pants in the family…
  64. 2020 Thursday A: Next, we learn that “Pro-China Joe” Biden may appoint the worst friend the U.S. military has ever had as his next secretary of Defense.  Wow.  Elsewhere, the Department of Justice announces that federal executions can proceed as execution methods can utilize a variety of means to carry them out.  Excellent.  Meanwhile, the U.S. Army Corps of engineers says, “NO,” to a Canadian company’s plans to build the Pebble Mine in pristine salmon breeding grounds.  Excellent.  F**k Canada and F**k their Dominion Voting Systems bulls**t.  They have declared war on us.  Finally, the Chi-Coms are reaching out to U.S. allies Japan and South Korea.

  66. 2020 Thursday C: Folks, here are the numbers for the Xi Jinping Yellow Fever, Chi-Com Virus, the Wuhan Horseshoe Bat Flu- Pelosi Pox:  Here are the statistics for the planet as a whole: 60,719,579 confirmed cases, +617,692, 1,427,184, confirmed deaths, +11,072, and 38,904,777 confirmed recoveries, +451,954.  Next, here are the stats for the United States, the intended target of the Chinese-engineered Wuhan Virus pandemic: 12,905,665 confirmed cases, UP 226,456 from yesterday’s reporting, 265,740 confirmed deaths, UP 2,215, and 6,406,159 confirmed recoveries, UP 54,301.  Here are the stats for Israel now that Mo is living there: 331,915 confirmed cases, 2,826 confirmed deaths, and 319,921 confirmed recoveries.
  67. 2020 Thursday D: Next, in the three states in which, the world-famous, anti-communist American Institute of Culinary Politics-the Elemental News of the Day employs chef-bloggers- California, Hawaii, and Washington- here are the stats, California first: 1,170,425 confirmed cases, 18,981 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Next here are the numbers for Hawaii: 17,561 confirmed cases, 233 confirmed deaths, and as of last week, NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Finally, here are the stats for leftist-Marxist-socialist hellhole of Washington: 161,214 confirmed cases, 2,825 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Let’s look at one other state: Kansas- currently, they have 150,515 confirmed cases, 1,503 confirmed deaths, and NO mention of confirmed recoveries.
  68. 2020 Thursday E: One America News host Pearson Sharp shared a major investigative look into COVID-19, how many people have been harmed by the lockdowns and restrictions and how the politicization of Plaquenil, aka hydroxychloroquine, simply because President Donald Trump had mentioned it as a possible treatment led to the deaths of far more people than were necessary.  OAN also pointed out that there are more adverse health issues caused by the hysteria over the Chi-Vi from Wuhan, communist China and how hospitals and doctors were pressured into listing all deaths in which anyone who might have tested positive but was not ill from the disease but from another condition or malady and then died as a ‘COVID-19 death.’  We know that politics has corrupted everything in our society all because of who the president is.      What’s more, the Democrats, we believe, conspired with the Chi-Coms to release this disease in the hopes that it could be used to flip the election  to “Pro-China Joe” Biden and his senatorial sidekick, Kamala Harris.  Speaking of “Pro-China Joe,” he gave his first Thanksgiving Day address online and ONLY 1,000 people tuned in to hear it with most of them abandoning it within the first 2-3 minutes and go elsewhere.  And “Pro-China Joe” won 80,000,000 votes.  Sure.  Sure, he did.

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

Simon Nichol released his second official solo album on May 13, 1992, “Consonant Please Carol.”  An amazing artist, songwriter, and vocalist, the man has his English and Celtic folk rock down.  Joining Simon are Dave Pegg and Danny Thompson (basses), John Kirkpatrick (accordions), Maartin Allcock (basses, guitars, keyboards), two singers, and loads of other musicians joining the veteran British musical legend.  This one can sometimes be challenging to find; however, if you visit sites such as AllMusic, Discogs, and other online emporiums of music, you might find it at a decent price even by visiting eBay and other such sites.  Ah, well, seek it out and if able to give it a listen, please do so.  We think you will enjoy it as much as do.  We still listen to our fading LP format of the record.

[v] We began promoting the music of this exciting British supergroup on Friday, 17-January-2014 through Monday, 03-February-2014.  Please look for them and add them to your collection.

[vi] Although the Democrats cried the ‘election was stolen from them,’ they were the ones who sought to steal the election and had it not been for Katherine Harris and the U.S. Supreme Court, they most likely would have gotten away with it.  Notice the pattern?  In 2019, they are still trying to overturn the 2016 Election.  Go figure.

[vii] We began promoting the music of Jethro Tull, Blodwyn Pig, Mick Abrahams, Ian Anderson, Martin Barre, Wild Turkey, and Paris on Monday, May 24, 2021, at the AICPENDBLOG.COM.  The presentation concluded on Sunday, October 03, 2021.

[viii] We began promoting the music of both the Beatles and the band’s individual components on Friday, 04-November-2016 through Sunday, 11-June-2018.  Besides the Beatles, we also promoted the music of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, and George Harrison as well as the Traveling Wilburys.    .

FFF. 2008 Tuesday: On the first full day that gay marriage became legal by order of the California Supreme Court, hundreds of homosexual couples married one another across the Golden State. However, California voters later approved Proposition 8, which restricted nuptials to a union between a man and a woman. The state supreme court later overturned this ruling, too.

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

The second album by the British band Aviator, “Turbulence,” came out on March 10, 1980 and most likely was released in fulfillment of whatever contract the band had with their record company.  Now a three-piece with the exit of integral member Jack Lancaster (all saxophones and brass instruments from Blodwyn Pig), the band featured Clive Bunker (drummer and percussion from Jethro Tull), John G. Perry (bass/vocals from a studio career), and Mick Rogers (guitars and vocals from Manfred Mann’s Earth Band).  The album has its moments and to us is an important part of English rock music history in much the same way other spin-off bands such as Mott and Widowmaker were from Mott the Hoople and Spooky Tooth were.  We hope you will seek it out wherever you shop for fine rock music because folks, it will become a worthy addition to any rock music collection.  Enjoy.

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

The next album by Jethro Tull hit record store shelves on September 22, 1978: “Bursting Out.”  This 2-LP album was LIVE in concert and it featured mostly tunes from “Songs from the Wood” and “Heavy Horses” plus some much-beloved favorites.  The band featured Ian Anderson (vocals, flutes, guitars, keyboards), Martin Barre (guitars), John Glascock (bass), John Evan (keyboards), Barriemore Barlow (drums), and Dee Palmer (keyboards and synthesizers).  We tend to favor the early four albums over the more modern efforts but still, this is a good way to see the band in a whole different light.  We hope you will seek it out and consider making it a part of your listening day.  Enjoy.

331. TODAY IN HISTORY—THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 26, 2020

X. 1942 Thursday A: On the Eastern Front, after Luftwaffe chief Hermann Goering had assured Adolf Hitler that the German air force could supply the entrapped Sixth Army and the Fourth Panzer Armies in and around Stalingrad, supplies that would total 500 tons per day just to keep the army supplied to the fullest, the weather prevented the less than adequate number of supply aircraft landing more than 130 tons since Tuesday. What made things even worse is that the Luftwaffe would not cooperate with Wehrmacht quartermasters so much of what came was unusable such as boots for right feet but not the left, marjoram, pepper, and contraceptives. As author John Shaw points out in a Time-Life Book, at least the soldiers within the cauldron could disguise the flavor of the rats they soon found themselves forced to eat.

  60. 2018 Monday:  As liberals continue wailing about the ‘mistreatment’ of illegal alien families in Tijuana, Mexico, President Trump defends the U.S. Border Patrol’s use of tear gas to disperse the milling throngs trying to storm the point of entry.  The President points out that the parents and the so-called ‘grabbers’ who grab an unaccompanied illegal alien minor thinking they can enter the country and then claim asylum.  Boohoo, people, stop with the alligator tears.  Meanwhile, to the horror of leftist journalists, President Trump disputes recent findings on Climate Change which 13 U.S. government agencies claim will reduce the country’s GDP by 10-percent come the year 2100.  Uh, okay.
  61. 2019 Tuesday: The New York Times reports that President Donald J.
  62. 2020 Thursday:  The Israeli military is gearing up for war with Iran in case President Donald J.
  63. 2020 Thursday A: Next, we learn that “Pro-China Joe” Biden may appoint the worst friend the U.S. military has ever had as his next secretary of Defense.
  64. 2020 Thursday B: Week 12 of the NFL 2020-21 Season kicks off today but only with TWO games as staff for the late teams test positive with the Chi-Com Virus.  First, we have (1) Houston Texans, 41 (4-7) @ Detroit Lions, 25 (4-7) 9:30 A.M.  Next, we have (2) Washington Redskins, 41 (4-7) @ Dallas Cowboys, 16 (3-8) 1:30 P.M.
  65. 2020 Thursday C: Folks, here are the numbers for the Xi Jinping Yellow Fever, Chi-Com Virus, the Wuhan Horseshoe Bat Flu- Pelosi Pox:  Here are the statistics for the planet as a whole: 60,719,579 confirmed cases, +617,692, 1,427,184, confirmed deaths, +11,072, and 38,904,777 confirmed recoveries, +451,954.
  66. 2020 Thursday D: Next, in the three states in which, the world-famous, anti-communist American Institute of Culinary Politics-the Elemental News of the Day employs chef-bloggers- California, Hawaii, and Washington- here are the stats, California first: 1,170,425 confirmed cases, 18,981 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.
  67. 2020 Thursday E: One America News shared a major investigative look into COVID-19, how many people have been harmed by the lockdowns and restrictions and how the politicization of Plaquenil, aka hydroxychloroquine, simply because President Donald Trump had mentioned it as a possible treatment led to the deaths of far more people than were necessary. Sure.  Sure he did.

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

On April 26, 2011, Foreigner released its second “Extended Versions,” an album that emanates from yesterday’s offering, “Can’t Slow Down…When It’s Live,” but does not include the entire concert but only the extended versions for those who dig that sort of thing.  Some bands play the setlist sans any deviations but for those that perform different versions every show, well, God bless them, because it bestows additional concert albums on the fans.  Here’s the lineup: Mick Jones (guitars), Thom Gimbel (guitars, vocals, keyboards, and horns), Michael Bluestein (keyboards), Jeff Pilson (bass, vocals), Jason Sutter (drums), and Kelly Hansen (vocals).  Friends, this is bargain-priced so what the heck do you have to lose?  Seek it out, give it a listen, and add it to your collection- you will be glad you did.

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

#PF001.3c The Wall Berlin #55 05-28-2020 (400)

Roger Waters released his next album, “The Wall Live in Berlin,” on November 20, 2015. This is a live album featuring music from the Pink Floyd classic, “The Wall.” There is no denying that Mr. Waters is not one of the most talented, most accomplished singer-songwriter-poet-player and it’s always nice hearing him perform music he mostly created himself as the lead contributor to the band. The man has a superb group accompanying him and if you close your eyes and open your ears, you almost think you are listening to Pink Floyd on a powerful night. We hope you will seek this album out and consider adding it to your catalog so you can enjoy for years to come. Believe us, you will love it.

FALL SESSION 2019

BLOG POST #3,313 AT THE AICP-END

345 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2020

Liz Warren has NO clue as to how she is going to accomplish anything other than via brute force and intimidation…

San Diego, CA 92122, 11-26-2019 Tuesday:  Last week- the night after the Democratic debate- Joe Biden, the former vice president, was holding a town hall in, I believe, uh, the Palmetto State, when an illegal alien confronted him, whined about ‘all the deportations carried out by President Obama’ as though it was something of which, to NOT be proud.  Caramba, amigos, what is wrong with these losers and how are there so MANY illegals living in South Carolina?  What the heck is going on?

Now, Joe is not always fast on his feet (although in the debate, he slammed billionaire neo-environmentalist Tom Steyer over his wealth derived from coal-mining in Australia) but I wish he had confronted the illegal confronting him.  He could have said to the man regarding the Obama deportations the following:

“I’m sorry we missed YOU.  Tell me where YOU and YOUR family live and we will see that you join the rest of them nice and sound south of the border.”

Of course, no self-respecting Democrat would ever provoke one of their beloved illegal alien voters by saying something so bold and funny, as that quick retort.  Can you imagine how the audience would have responded?  There would have been howling and wailing, it would have sounded like an Amazonian jungle at the height of a summer night with a full moon overhead.

Still, it would have been hilarious and had the aging Democratic candidate offered one of his famous flashy smiles as he said it, it could have been one of those moments that would define the 2020 primary campaign.

Right now, we are witnessing Democratic candidates promising to give away the store if only you will vote for me.  Liz Warren stands near the top promising to give everything away but there are some problems with this line of attack, namely, to fund EVERYTHING she promises means the wealthy will have to foot the cost whether they like it or NOT.

Sure, she claims it’s only a ‘couple of cents’ on their billionth-and-one greenback but for wealthy folks, those couple of cents do and will add up.  In order to avoid having to dole out massive portions of their wealth to provide FREE healthcare and education to noncitizens, were she the nominee, the billionaires would be transferring their wealth out of the country and relocating not only their corporate offices offshore but also their physical locations as rapidly as possible.  Who could blame them?

As this is the linchpin of the whole “FREE THIS AND THAT SCHEME,” like the collapse of Venezuela following “La Revolucion,” when the rich abandoned the country to the despots, the tax bite then descends on the upper middle classes, the middle class, and then the lower middle class until only the extreme poor remain.

Likewise, I have seen no white paper detailing how, exactly, doctors and educators are going to sign on to government-set rates of remuneration or even to whatever minimum wage the Democratic-Socialists impose on the people of the country.

I mean, if the government told us restauranteurs that we could only make so much and the rest of the profit was going to provide free meals NOT to impoverished American citizens but to impoverished illegal aliens, I would be loading up my AR-15 and taking to the streets along with millions of other indignant and livid Americans.

Besides that, the other weak point in the Liz Warren scheme of doing things is that from Election Day to Inauguration Day, there are about TWO MONTHS in between which is ample time for everyone with the wherewithal to transfer everything they possess outside the country and to then get the hell out of Dodge and move abroad- Ireland looks better by the day as does Lisbon.  What would keep them here?  Nothing Sen. Warren can do about forcing the folks with means to remain here so she can deplete them of their means.

There are some Democrats who might not be so bad but they do not stand a single chance.  I agree with my colleague, Chef Olaf, that there is a “Core” or “Central Five,” to which, I would add two others- Amy Klobuchar and Tulsi Gabbard- making a “Core Seven.”

My proposed ”Core Seven” would be Sens. Cory Booker, Liz Warren, Kamala Harris, Amy Klobuchar, Bernie Sanders, along with Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard, and Joe Biden.  Although for many, they leave much to be desired, they have the potential of winning the nomination.

That means that Tom Steyer (why is he even there?  He is nothing more than a Cantiflas-like character clutching at his britches, a deer-in-the-headlights pretentious idiot), Andrew Yang, and everybody’s favorite cream puff Mayor Pete, can leave the race and do so now.

Now, I know that people are aghast at my saying Mayor Pete has no chance.  Like it or not, he cannot win the nomination and everyone knows precisely why.  He will never win the minority vote which is so important to any Democratic nominee.

Executive Chef Pedro MuñozMoreover, I do not believe he can win law enforcement over nor can he win Big Labor because in the end, NO one is going to bank on a poof because the poof can never win.  Give him another 15-20 years and the country will be so warped that Mayor Pete can give it another shot in 2036 or 2040- I should be gone long before then.

At least, that is how I see it.  Please, let me know what you think, mis amigos, and we can debate the issues.  Thank you and join me tomorrow.

Adios, mis amigos.  Nos vemos.

FEATURED ALBUM OF THE DAY:

#ZOM001.2d Music Spheres #30 10-05-2019 (400)

Argent released an “anthology” of sorts, “Music from the Spheres,” on September 12, 1991.  As their parent band, the Zombies releases numerous ‘best of’ compilations following a somewhat short career, Argent- a band with far more of a discography, began releasing some of their own seeing as how they have a lengthier number of albums from which to choose.  This is a prodigious effort yet it lacks, get this- their biggest hit- “Hold Your Head Up,” but remains a wonderful introduction to a veteran 1970s rock band.  We hope you will seek it out and add it to your ever-growing collection by visiting Amazon.com…you will be glad you did.

Just the Facts: with the economy going gangbusters, will the Democrats risk destroying it just to harm President Donald J. Trump and to punish his voters? Let us hope not

As if that is not bad enough, our new governor-elect, Gavin Newsom, here in California wants to create his own, state-wide version of Obamacare, because he believes that HE can do it better than even President Obama could and worse, that we, the taxpayers, will provide free health care to every illegal alien living within our borders.

FALL SESSION 2018

BLOG POST #2,948 AT THE AICP-END

709 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2020

Will the Democrats put our economy back into the icebox just to destroy Donald Trump?  I guess we shall see…

Century City, CA, 11-26-2018 Monday:  Hello and good Monday morning, we had a marvelous Thanksgiving holiday, one in which, we had overflow crowds, especially at the grand buffet, something only possible because money is readily available, jobs, plentiful, and people wanting to go out and celebrate all manner of events, which certainly did not occur under the administration of the last president.

People love knowing that career opportunities abound, that chances at higher wages, better benefits, and secured futures are at hand instead of being told by a president who had no clue that this is ‘the new normal.’ I think the last guy took great pride when he told us that ‘the American people must get used to living like they now were’ during his eight years because ‘America never deserved her greatness seeing as how we robbed other nations around the world of their resources to make it possible.’

Since Donald Trump has been president, the economy has moved forward in leaps and bounds, something unseen in a long, long time, since Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, and even Bill Clinton were in charge of the nation’s economy and hence its future.

George W. Bush on the other hand involved us in two wars, the second of which- the one in Iraq- left our nation bereft of economic resources and put us in great debt which allowed the charlatan who preceded President Trump to transform our economy from a robust one to a punitive one, all by design.

We now see Democrats back in charge of the House of Representatives, something most see as NOT good.  Instead of seeking ways to work WITH the President, their campaign promises as well as their actions of the previous two years have told us they have little desire to do anything that requires them to reach across the aisle.

Rather, they have promised us that they are going to pursue this president in ways heretofore unseen since the days of Republicans pursuing Bill Clinton.

The liberals detest our current president because they despise what the man has been able to accomplish through using good business sense, loads of personal energy, and a cadre of ever-changing advisors and cabinet members around him to do things no one believed possible anymore.  Such was the damage that eight years of economic decline and lack of ability put our nation in, a hole in which, we are only beginning to dig our way free of.

People in the professional food service business understand when things are bad just as we do when things are good, very, very good.  We have not had bookings for Christmas parties like what we now have in more than a decade, it almost resembles the boom time of the early-to-late 1980s when the last contractions began.

We have 3-4 parties a day, a luncheon or two, and then another 2-3 Christmas events every night, events that will run into early January like they once did long ago.

What’s more, we have brought on extra staff and are seeking to expand our kitchen crew by hiring another full-time baker and a full-time butcher who will double as the banquet assistant chef during the holiday overload when he is not down in the basement breaking beef, pork, and lamb sides.

With all the money flowing this November-to-January, we would hate to see it suddenly dry up thanks to the Democrats pursuing the President in everything imaginable.

Once our new Democrat masters begin firing off their so-called ‘subpoena cannon’ at the commander-in-chief, what money there has been could dry up and disappear.   This would prove disastrous for the new staff members and for the ample overtime that would suddenly dry up, the mother’s milk of Christmas bonuses.

Here in Los Angeles, just as I am sure in every other locale, we are already anticipating the return of the individual mandate, the one President Trump rid the nation of through the stroke of a pen on an executive order not long after he took office.

Moreover, the re-imposition of this ugly bit of Obamacare is going to cost our employees money they can ill-afford to lose.  It won’t be good, yet the Democrats have promised us that they are going to do this.

Oh, he went silent on this during the election cycle because he knows it is not popular whereas now, word continues creeping out that this is something on the books that will befall us sometime next year.  As if we do not have enough future economic woes, instituting some crackpot scheme such as this is going to drive a stake through the economic engine currently running the state and nation.

In closing, let me say this: as someone who grew up a leftist- stupid, I will admit but I was young- I wonder what the heck it is going to require to wake these California Democrats up?  I mean, they see what success and economic progress is doing for both the state and the nation so why would they want to freeze it by going all Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels on us?  It never works.

Friends, let us hope that the new Governor Newsom will open his eyes and see what is going on around us.  Portions of our state have disappeared beneath massive fires leaving the locales wastelands for years to come.

Let us hope he won’t monkey around with the economic engine driving our state along as it has been a long, long time since jobs and career opportunities were this plentiful.  Let us hope he does not ice this amazing progress to the point we regress to the Obama era economic disaster from which, we just shook ourselves free and clear.

Thanks for joining me today; I look forward to you joining me the rest of the week and thank you for driving our numbers up, up, and up- it is good to see our readership expand in the way that it has and we love you for it.

See you tomorrow.

FEATURED ALBUM OF THE DAY:

On February 01, 1997, Wishbone Ash returned with its next studio album, the delightful “Trance Visionary.”  The lineup remained the same, featuring Bob Skeat (bass), Mark Birch (guitars/vocals), Andy Powell (guitars/vocals), and Ray Weston (drums).   This album is a collaboration between the band and electronic music guru Mike Bennett: result techno-pop dance music- you do what you got to do.   We love this album and we urge everyone to use the link we provide you here so you can visit Amazon.com where you can get it in the format, the condition, and the price that works best for you- you will be glad you did.  We appreciate your patronage.

The Doors record label released another ‘best of’ compilation on July 20, 1985,” “The Best of the Doors.”  Once again, we find a fine selection of hits here for both the veteran and the novice listener.  This is perhaps one of the greatest bands to literally explode out of the mid-1960s and could have gone so far had not the lead singer overdosed on drugs while on hiatus in Paris.   We wholeheartedly recommend it and urge the readership to use the link we provide you here so you can visit Amazon.com.  Once there, pick it up in the format, the condition, and the price that works best for you- you will be glad you did.
