325. TODAY IN HISTORY—FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 20, 2020

Q. 1942 Friday: The Soviet Winter Offensive continues as 1 million Russians breach Axis lines on the Eastern Front. The Rumanians were already crumbling north of Stalingrad while the second phase of Operation Uranus saw two fresh armies under the command of General Yeremenko launched attacks against the Rumanians south of the city. By nightfall, his armies had torn a 30-mile gap in the Axis lines while the northern sector saw a hole 50 miles wide. The Russians had bagged 10,000 Rumanian prisoners already. Meanwhile, the British 8th Army recaptures Benghazi, Libya, from the combined Afrika Korps-Italian army forces fighting there. Finally, future Democrat senator and 47th vice-president of the United States, 2009-2017, Joseph R. Biden, is born on this date.

  51. 2016 Sunday: In India, a train mishap near Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, results in the loss of 146 lives and countless more injured.
  52. 2017 Monday:  Many are speculating that President Donald J. Trump has defied the Deep State by ‘flipping’ Robert S. Mueller III, special counsel digging into ‘Trump-Russia collusion.’  The deeper Mueller and his team of anti-Trump hacks digs, the more they see Hillary Clinton implicated into dealing with the Russians by selling off a good portion of the nation’s uranium supply.  We shall see where this leads…
  53. 2018 Tuesday: Following Saudi Arabia’s murder of Saudi American journalist Jamal Khashoggi, President Trump announces he believes the Saudi’s version of events which leads RINO and Democratic Party anti-Trumpers to go berserk, outraged over his defending of a staunch Middle Eastern ally.  Speaking of Saudi Arabia, the human rights group, Save the Children,’ alleges that Saudi Arabia is responsible for the starvation deaths of at least 85,000 Yemeni children.  The Houthi rebels should stand down and quit trying to force the country to become pro-Iranian.
  54. 2019 Wednesday: As the impeachment inquiry of President Donald J. Trump being conducted by House Intel Committee Chairman Adam Schiff and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, one devoid of any sort of shame on their part continues, former U.S. ambassador to the European Union Gordon Sondland appeared before Schiff and the committee in the morning.  In the afternoon, Laura Cooper, former Defense Dept. official and David Hale, former State Dept. official appear.  Like everyone else, no one could point to the impeachable offense(s) committed by the president.  No matter how much the grand inquisitor “Lying” Adam Schiff attempted to insert words into their mouths, they could point to NOTHING.
  55. 2020 Friday: Never-Trumpers are now worried that Trump Republicans of whom there are tens of millions won’t show up to vote for either Senator David Purdue or for Kelly Loeffler after blasting them as racists, haters, homophobes, bigots, Islamophobes, transphobes, scumbags, stupid, backwards, vile, and worthless, deplorable POS.  This is a tough one; however, YOU RINOS made your frigging bed, now sleep in the damned thing.  It appears that the Democrats are going to win so perhaps they should win.  IF you won’t support a president who has done all the things you claim to want and to support, then millions of Trump voters say, “Screw you.”  Time for a strong third party.
  56. 2020 Friday A: Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin urges Congress to unlock $580 billion of unused COVID-19 stimulus relief monies to help the American people remain somewhat solvent.  Elsewhere, the World Health Organization advises people NOT to use Remdesivir to treat the Xi Jinping Bat Flu.  Like hydroxychloroquine, it seems to work extremely well in combatting the Chinese Virus yet the W.H.O. doesn’t want people using it.  Meanwhile, various state governors continue increasing their Chi Vi restrictions such as in California which now has a 10:00 P.M. to 5:00 A.M. curfew to stop the virus spread.  Is the virus only virulent between those hours?  Remains to be seen.  Finally, Georgia announces that “Pro-China Joe” Biden and his sidekick, “Kooky Kamala” Harris have won the state, the first time a Democrat has won the Peach State in 30 years, by a margin of 12,000 votes.  It is what it is…
  57. 2020 Friday B: Folks, here are the numbers for the Xi Jinping Bat Flu- Pelosi Pox:  Here are the statistics for the planet as a whole: 57,369,049 confirmed cases, +929,805, 1,368,746, confirmed deaths, +15,971, and 36,706,250 confirmed recoveries, +415,170.  Next, here are the stats for the United States, the intended target of the Chinese-engineered Wuhan Virus pandemic: 11,934,455 confirmed cases, up 189,962 from yesterday’s reporting, 257,309 confirmed deaths, UP 1,919, and 6,155,250 confirmed recoveries, UP 31,386.  Next, in the three states in which, the world-famous American Institute of Culinary Politics-the Elemental News of the Day employs chef-bloggers- California, Hawaii, and Washington- here are the stats, California first: 1,087,464 confirmed cases, 18,573 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Next here are the numbers for Hawaii: 16,917 confirmed cases, 223 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Finally, here are the stats for leftist-Marxist-socialist hellhole of Washington: 145,255 confirmed cases, 2,723 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Now that Mo has relocated to Israel, let’s look at the statistics there: 327,049 confirmed cases, 2,742 confirmed deaths, and 315,930 confirmed recoveries.   Let’s look at one other state: South Carolina- currently, they have 203,161 confirmed cases, 4,231 confirmed deaths, and NO mention of confirmed recoveries.  It is what it is, it seems to be going against the norm to provide the recovery numbers; what is up with that?
  58. 2020 Friday C: Here are the stats for today’s Stock Market closes: first the DOW Jones Industrial Average, 29,263.48, DOWN 219.75 points (-0.75%).  Next, here are the stats for the NASDAQ:  11,858.97, DOWN 49.74 points (-0.42%).  Finally, here are the numbers for the S&P 500: 3,557.54, DOWN 24.33 points (-0.68%).  Price of GOLD: $1,869.60 per troy oz., -2.80 (-0.15%)  Here is the price of SILVER: $24.22 per troy oz., -0.138 (-0.57%).  Price of PLATINUM: $952.40 per troy oz., -4.80 (-0.50%).  Price of PALLADIUM: $2,340.90 per troy oz., +4.40 (+0.19%).  Here is the price of COPPER: $3.29 per #, +0.002 (+0.06%).   Price of Light Sweet Crude Oil per barrel: $42.47, +0.05 (+0.12%).  Today, one-dollar U.S. = 6.56 PRC yuan whereas one U.S. greenback = 0.84 euros.  Just for a lark, $1 U.S. = 76.89 Afghan afghani.
  59. 2020 Friday D: A mass shooting occurs at the Mayfair Mall in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin.  At least eight people were shot but reports suggest none of the victims was in a life-threatening situation.  At least 75 police officers are scouring the area seeking the shooter.  The Milwaukee division of the FBI also is on scene to aid in any manner in which, the feds can.  Meanwhile, GOP Senators Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski, and Mitt Romney say they will ‘vote’ to confirm ‘President-elect Pro-China Joe’ Biden’s cabinet picks.  Elsewhere, a 2-1 ruling by the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals struck down a ruling in the Florida city of Boca Raton and of Palm Beach County that prevents therapists from offering conversion therapy to children struggling with sexual orientation or gender confusion.  Good for them.
  60. 2020 Friday E: President Donald J. Trump announced today a dramatic lowering in the prices of prescription drugs.  The costs of insulin could be reduced by thousands of dollars per year which would benefit all diabetic patients enormously.  Elsewhere, efforts to recall California Governor Gavin “The Smiler” Newsom have been granted a 120-day extension until March 17, 2021.  Meanwhile, Harvard Law School professors sign a petition demanding any lawyer who did or continues doing work on behalf of President Donald J. Trump must go to a reeducation center so they can be cleansed.  Wow.  WTF is going on in the United States.  Finally, we learn that Democratic Party U.S. Senate candidate Jon Ossoff- seeking to oust Senator David Purdue- works for a Chi-Com owned company and derives his living from money paid to him by the Chinese Communist Party while his counterpart- Reverend Raphael Warnock- seeking the other U.S. Senate seat currently held by Sen. Kelly Loeffler is an unapologetic black racist and communist.
  61. 2020 Friday F: Here are the numbers for tonight’s Mega Millions Draw #1609 with a jackpot of $198 million at stake: 26, 33, 45, 61, 68, and Mega 17.  The highest winners were 49 people who had FOUR numbers for a prize of $441 apiece.

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

An updated touring lineup of Foreigner released a live album recorded on November 25, 2005 at Texas Station in North Las Vegas, Nevada.  “Extended Versions” came out nearly a year later on July 25, 2006 and featured a new lineup of musicians, Mick Jones being the one constant: Mick Jones (guitars), Thom Gimbel (guitars, vocals, keyboards, and horns), Jeff Jacobs (keyboards), Jeff Pilson (bass, vocals), Jason Bonham (drums), and Kelly Hansen (vocals).  There are 10 classic tunes here, all in extended form and a surprise or two added for excitement.  There also is a film available of the band in action and between Mick Jones and Jason Bonham, you have a match made in musical history.  Look for it and be sure to add it to your ever-growing collection as it is a must-own album.

JTF: the Democrats are salivating over yet another end of Donald J. Trump but like one premature ejaculation after another, they continue blowing their wads without any gratification- oh, woe is them!

Many speculate the reason for the Democrats’ obsession with President Trump is that they know they cannot beat him. Like howling wolves tracking down a solitary wooly mammoth, they first have to wound and then tire the animal out so they can then take advantage of these debilitating issues which makes for less danger but greater chances of success for them.

FALL SESSION 2019

BLOG POST #3,307 AT THE AICP-END

351 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2020

Millions think the Dems are going to rue the day they set the entire impeachment scam in motion…boy, oh, boy, I cannot wait!

Century City, CA 90067, 11-20-2019 Wednesday:  I don’t know about you but I am growing fatigued by the Democrats’ ongoing mission to impeach President Donald J. Trump and remove him from office, especially with the next flipping election in 351 days or so (we could have screwed up our calculations by a few days either way so please, don’t hold it against us).  Yet, the Democrats continue spinning their wheels, once again building up the massive victory they can see on the horizon because they were able to put a Democrat into Kentucky’s governor’s mansion[i] as well as to hold onto the governor’s gig in Louisiana.

I do not know if this says something about Trump’s future or it does not.  We have seen Trump ‘win’ most of the special elections that have occurred around the country but here and there, the Dems win some, too, such as former senator and former attorney-general of the United States Jeff Sessions’ old U.S. Senate seat.  You win some, you lose some, and it almost always seems as though things always even out at the end of the day.

I must say, however, that it is good to see Mr. Sessions seeking his old seat.  I mean, wouldn’t he, was a great senator and the Democrat holding his seat- Doug Jones[ii]– is merely a caretaker, keeping the seat warm for him.  Mr. Sessions will be Senator Sessions once more and I do believe that he will continue to be one of the president’s greatest supporters.

I know many speculated that Mr. Sessions may have been one of the earliest members of the resistance because of his recusal from all-things ‘Russian’ while serving as the AG.  I think the Democrats hoodwinked the man and forced him to believe that he had no choice other than to recuse himself which chafed at President Trump until he let him go.

I do believe that our president is a ‘forgiving guy.’  I do not believe that Senator Sessions will become the irritating blowfly that Mitt Romney[iii] has become.  I mean, what the heck is wrong with that guy?  Trump supported Mittens when HE ran for the presidency and never said a bad thing about him.  Then, when Trump decides to run for the presidency, there’s the worthless blowfly out there biting the billionaire on his butt.  Is there no shame?

Alas, now-Senator Romney has thrown in his lot with the Deep State scum.  He is the combined presence of Bobby Corker and Jeffrey Flake, two goobers who could not maintain their seats and so had to fall alongside the road into a ditch in 2018.  Good riddance to them and I hope when Mittens comes up for reelection in 2024, it will be good riddance to him, too.

Moving along, what I do know is this: trotting out one Deep State swamp-dwelling denizen after another last week and this week is NOT the way to go.  Each of the bottom-feeding scum we have had the displeasure to hear has whined, sniveled, moaned and groaned, about their lot in life although almost all of them had NO contact with President Donald J. Trump- they heard everything second, third, or fourth-fricking hand.

Over the weekend, we heard the president paid an unplanned visit to Walter Reed National Medical Center for a health check.  The president’s stated reason was that he had a ‘free weekend’ and since he knew that 2020 was going to be an extremely busy year what with reelection and impeachment and everything else on the commander-in-chief’s plate, he wanted to undergo his routine physical while he had the opportunity.

Now, the Democrats see this and they begin salivating like the ravenous wolves are in pursuit of the mammoth.  They think they must be dragging him down so soon, they can launch the final attack and kill the wily, oversized beast.  One can almost hear their jaws gnashing together, slobber spraying, as they prematurely savor their kill.  Little do they recall they have been here before and that the great beast has managed to elude them time and again.

I have no clue as to how President Trump does it.  The rank abuses the man undergoes every single day, 24/7, without nary a letup, would incapacitate your average man.  We can only speculate as to what each of us would do what with most of us thinking as to HOW we could go about engineering their downfall- and extremely painful deaths- of our enemies.

We now hear that the inspector-general of the Intelligence community, Michael Horowitz, is going to testify before Congress on December 11, 2019.  Perhaps this is why there is so much hustle and bustle among the Democrats, perhaps why they are going full bore to drive this man from office.

We have heard Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer saying that ‘President Trump can come in at any time, sit before Congress, take the oath with his right hand held high, and answer the questions put forth by (liar-in-chief), “Pencil Neck” Adam Schiff and his henchmen-and-women.  Can you imagine?

Most reasonable Americans believe that this would be akin to going before a firing squad without any judgment one way or the other.  What is clear is that the Democrats cannot permit a free, fair, and impartial hearing because their quarry always manages to be one step- if not two- ahead of them.

I think we are going to be overjoyed and soon.  Once Mr. Horowitz testifies and then John Durham, I think the shoe will be on the other foot and the Democrats will regret the day they ever set this crap in motion.

See you back here tomorrow and folks, please make sure you take advantage of some of the wonderful items we promote here at the blog.  We think you will be glad you did.  Ciao.

#MOI001.2n Francesco Zappa #40 09-29-2019 (400)

Today’s album is Frank Zappa’s twenty-third solo album, “Francesco Zappa,” came out in 1984 and once again is another excellent and unique album that is another collector’s item.  The fact that Frank Zappa died years ago means that all his catalog of musical offerings is much sought-after, desired, and required if one is to claim that he or she is a connoisseur of music of the era.  I suggest that you take the link posted above, go to Amazon.com and buy it post haste.  You are going to be glad that you did.

[i] The Democrats managed to beat an extremely unpopular and sardonic Republican governor in Matt Bevan, yet what the Dems fail to mention is that the GOP captured every other statewide office in the state.  Democrats, how come you remain quiet on that?

[ii] The Republicans made the inexplicable error of selecting former Judge Roy Moore in Alabama instead of the caretaker of new AG Jeff Sessions old Senate seat- Luther Strange- whom the Democrats then vilified and destroyed over reports of him having hung around shopping centers as a young man seeking younger women.  Apparently, Judge Moore is seeking his seat once more so let us hope the good people of Alabama nominate Jeff Sessions for his old seat.

[iii] Mitt Romney has made numerous Republicans angry as they supported the POS in 2012 and look at him in 2018 and 2019- perfect example of RINO scumbag, hypocrisy and all.  Shame.  – Chef Brian Carrick, personal note.
