  43. 2014 Monday: The U.S. Supreme Court unexpectedly cleared the way for a dramatic (and unnecessary) expansion of gay marriage in the United States as it rejected appeals from five states seeking to preserve their bans, effectively making such marriages legal in 30 states.  Note: there is NOTHING in the Constitution regarding marriage so this should be overturned.  Meanwhile, U.S. Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps received six-month suspension from sponsor organization USA Swimming due to a recent drunk driving charge; Phelps plans to enter a treatment program.
  44. 2015 Tuesday: New reports surface that Hillary Clinton’s private email server- the one in her basement near the crapper that stored up to 55,000 pages of confidential documents during her time as secretary of state underwent more assaults than previously suspected and/or confirmed.  Additional attacks came from communist China (say it ain’t so!), Germany, and South Korea.  Hillary said only information on her Pilates training and daughter Chelsea’s wedding were on that acid-washed and bleach-bitted server.  Uh, okay.
  45. 2016 Thursday: According to CBS News, reports say that the markets believe that ‘IF Donald J. Trump wins the White House in three weeks, the markets will tank whereas if Hillary Clinton should win the election, everything will be peachy keen.  Uh, okay.   Meanwhile as Hurricane Matthew continues making landfall along the coastlines of Florida, Georgia, and the Carolinas, at least 300,000 homes and businesses are without power and 2 million or more are trying to escape the affected regions.
  46. 2017 Friday: The board of directors of the Weinstein Company said movie mogul Harvey Weinstein was on indefinite leave the company he founded amid countless sexual harassment allegations made against him and the subsequent internal investigations into the worthless POS.  Note- Mr. Weinstein is a lifelong Democrat- BA-BOOM!  Meanwhile, new NHL franchise the Las Vegas Golden Knights wins their first-ever game, an away victory to the Dallas Stars, 2-1.  Congratulations!
  47. 2018 Saturday: After one of the most harrowing confirmations in recent memory, Brett Kavanaugh, following a 50-48 vote in the U.S. Senate, took his place on the Supreme Court of the United States as its 114th associate justice.  Elsewhere, due to the Palestinians being a persistent pain in the ass to Israel as they screech and protest along the border, Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman announces to the citizens of the Gaza Strip that the fishing zone off the coast will be reduced from 9 to 6 nautical miles.
  48. 2019 Sunday: Two rock stars died on this date: first, famed drummer Ginger Baker of Cream[iv], died in Canterbury, Kent, England, on this date.  He had entered the hospital on 09-25-2019.  Next, longtime bassist with the Southern rock band, .38-Special[v], Larry Junstrom, died on this date in Palatka, Florida, at age 70.   Elsewhere, a human rights report says that in Iraq, protests over rampant government corruption, rising unemployment, and poor living conditions over the past five days that 100 people have been slain and at least 4,000 injured.  Sever your ties with Iran and you would do better.   Meanwhile, hundreds of thousands of Hong Kong freedom fighters take to the streets to protest the newly imposed ban on wearing face masks at protests.
  49. 2020 Tuesday:  A House committee recommends the bust-up of the BIG TECH companies which cannot come soon enough.  As everyone knows, Google CEO Sundar Pichai discriminates against conservative voices.  We hope the U.S. government would strip him of citizenship and deport him back to Punjabistan, his family included.  Elsewhere in government, the U.S. Department of Justice announced today that there are ‘no COVID-19 exemptions in the U.S. Constitution that allows dictatorial governors and mayors (Gretchen Whitmer- are YOU listening?) to shutter all of society.  Henceforth, all such actions must cease.  Meanwhile, the Department of Transportation booted a union demand four making the wearing of masks without exception.  We must remember that early in the Chi-Vi Storm, doctors such as Tony Fauci said that masks did no good when it comes to battling a virus.  Then, all of a sudden, wearing masks and possibly goggles- as Dr. Fauci suggested- became the norm.
  50. 2020 Tuesday A: A recent Axios-Ipsos poll suggests that minds have not changed with President Donald J. Trump coming down with the Xi Jinping Bat Flu.  Speaking of the Kung Flu, the World Health Organization reports that 1-in-10 are COVID-19-infected around the globe.  Moving on, CNN dimwit Chris Cuomo calls President Trump’s bout of the Chi-Vi and subsequent return to the White House a ‘publicity stunt’ while his appearance on the Truman Balcony at the White House in which, he waved to supporters and news media professionals on site as somehow being akin to Benito Mussolini speaking to adoring crowds from the Palazzo Venezia.  Uh, okay.   Regarding the Chinese Virus, the White House is bucking strict guidelines for emergency release of COVID-19 vaccine; so, says the New York Times.  Regarding government, a desperate Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-NY, flipflops on recent Wuhan Virus Crisis comments saying that “REMOTE VOTING in the case of Judge Amy Coney Barrett to replace the late Ruth Bader Ginsburg is not right.’  Prior to this comment, he was all for remote meetings and attendance in the world’s (so-called) greatest deliberative body.’  For senators ill with COVID-19, attend sessions in full Hazmat suits.
  51. 2020 Tuesday B: Recent polls now report that “Pro-China Joe” Biden’s lead over President Donald J. Trump has now become an insurmountable 16 points.  Wow.  It’s all over!  Yeah, right.  Friends, we are more determined than ever to show up at polling places in person and to send these Beijing-loving leftists into the next dimension.  Meanwhile, the world’s ‘most beloved pontiff’- Pope Francis- announces that capitalism has failed, and that collectivism is the only way forward, due to the Chi-Vi encircling the world.  Friends, this is reason enough to hope that the next pope will be from European stock and not that of the flipping Third World.  Catholics here at the blog wish he would step down and return to Argentina.   Elsewhere, the Chi-Coms ‘warn the United States not to cross any of their red lines’ as though we should be afraid.  After the attack on Indian troops earlier in the year in the Himalayas, the Indian army returned and kicked ass on the communist Chinese, reclaiming their territory.
  52. 2020 Tuesday C: In Santa Monica, California, fiery lead guitarist with Van Halen- Eddie Van Halen- is dead at age 65 from a losing battle with long-term throat cancer.  Add another member to Rock-and-Roll Heaven on this date.  He died in Santa Monica, California.   Elsewhere, following the second highest officer of the U.S. Coast Guard testing positive for the Wuhan Flu, the Joint Chiefs of Staff enter 14 days of self-isolation.
  53. 2020 Tuesday D: Here are today’s Chi-Com Horseshoe Bat Flu Statistics for the globe: 35,511,291 confirmed cases, UP by 172,166 cases, 1,044,090 confirmed deaths, UP by 5,370 deaths, and 24,770,288 confirmed recoveries, UP by 198,979 recoveries.  Here are the numbers for the United States: 7,553,392 confirmed cases, UP by 8,727 new cases, 213,462 confirmed deaths, UP by 87 new deaths, and 4,905,362 confirmed recoveries, UP by 2,573 new recoveries.
  54. 2020 Tuesday E: Next, in the three states in which, the world-famous American Institute of Culinary Politics-The Elemental News of the Day employs chef-authors, California, Hawaii, and Washington, here are the stats, Golden State first: 838,956 confirmed cases, 16,205 confirmed deaths, but as is the norm, NO mention of confirmed recoveries.  Next, here are the stats for the Aloha State: 13,007 confirmed cases, 157 confirmed deaths, and 10,470 confirmed recoveries.  Finally, in the Ever-Red, uh, we mean, the Evergreen State, here are the stats: 94,275 confirmed cases, 2,254 confirmed deaths, but like California, the incline-headed governor, Jay Inslee, won’t share the number of confirmed recoveries.  Shame on these flipping Democrats.  Let’s take a look at one more state, Montana: 15,633 confirmed number of cases, 192 confirmed number of deaths, and 10,172 confirmed number of recoveries.  Let us look at Israel’s numbers now that Mo and his wife are relocating there.  Here they are: 272,309 confirmed cases, 1,757 confirmed deaths, and 204,355 confirmed recoveries.  Watch out for car bombs or Hamas thugs coming up out of the sewers and kidnapping you or your lovely wife.
  55. 2020 Tuesday F: Here are today’s Stock Market closes: DOW Jones Industrial Average: 27,772.76, DOWN 375.88 points (-1.34%).  Next, the NASDAQ: 11,154.60, DOWN 177.88 points (-1.57%).  Finally, here are the stats for the S&P 500: 3,360.95, DOWN 47.68 points (-1.40%).  The price of GOLD is $1,883.10 per troy oz., -25.70 (-1.35%) while the price of SILVER is $23.26 per troy ounce, -0.656 (-2.74%).  The price of PLATINUM is $860.00 per troy oz, -10.30 (-1.18%) while the price of COPPER is $2.93 per pound, -0.033 (-1.11%).  The price of PALLADIUM is $2,350.00 per troy oz., -9.10 (-0.40%).  The price of Light Sweet Crude Oil is $39.86 per barrel, -0.81 (-1.99%).  Today, COCOA is $2,449.00 per metric ton, +21.00 (+0.86).  As for currency, one U.S. dollar = 6.79 communist Chinese yuan.  By contrast, one U.S. dollar = 0.85 euros.  Communist China manipulates its currency, a known fact which is why the world must disengage with them and bring our supply chain home- ASAP.
  56. 2020 Tuesday G: Tomorrow night is the debate between Vice President Michael Pence and Senator Kamala Harris.  Should be better than last week’s slugfest but then…one never knows…meanwhile, Democrat charges of the day against President Donald J. Trump: ‘he’s like Mussolini, he’s a super-spreader of the Chi-Vi even though news media hacks have been captured off-camera stripping the masks off their faces.
  57. 2020 Tuesday H: Today, Greg Kelly on Newsmax reports the Trump-Russia Collusion HOAX was a creation of the Hillary Rodham Clinton campaign.  Today, DNI John Ratcliffe declassifies notes compiled by then-CIA Director John Brennan from a meeting at the Obama White House in 2016 in which, President Obama, then-National Security Adviser Susan Rice, Dennis McDonough, the chief of staff, and others, in which, Brennan was informing President Obama about a plan hatched by one of Hillary Clinton’s foreign policy advisors on July 28, 2016, in which, Democrats would claim interference by Russian security services on behalf of then- candidate Donald J. Trump with which to dirty him and to push Hillary across the finish line in November 2016.
  58. 2020 Tuesday I: Not sure what else the Chi-Coms and their Democratic Party gofers are up to stick around today so and find out.  Update: White House adviser Stephen Miller becomes the 11th person to test positive for the Chi-Vi.  Meanwhile, Puerto Rico Governor Wanda Vázquez Garced urged her citizens to vote for President Donald J. Trump, that the 45th president is their best friend.  Elsewhere, Hurricane Delta picks up steam and becomes a Cat 4 storm what with 130 mph winds.  It is expected to sweep across the Yucatan and then descend on the U.S. gulf coast, possibly New Orleans- yet again.
  59. 2020 Tuesday J:  We reported earlier in the day the death of Eddie Van Halen.  Singer Johnny Nash died at age 80.  Known for hits like “I Can See Clearly Now” and “Rock Me Baby,” and “(What A) Wonderful World,” he died in his hometown of Houston, Texas.  He continued releasing albums up until 1986 and compilations long after that.  Add another one to Rock-and-Roll Heaven.
  60. 2021 Wednesday: The National League Wild Card playoff is tonight in Los Angeles, California, as the visiting St. Louis Cardinals (90-72) take on the L.A. Dodgers (106-56).  Last night, the New York Yankees (92-70) went to Boston and took on the Red Sox (92-70) and lost by a final score of 6-2.

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

The third album by Fairport Convention came out on July 03, 1969- “Unhalfbricking”- and demonstrated that the band was growing more confident with each release.  Although the band performs several Bob Dylan tunes, members such as Sandy Denny and Richard Thompson are now writing some glorious tunes.  The band features Sandy Denny (vocals, guitars, keyboards), Richard Thompson (guitars, vocals, and other stringed instruments), Simon Nichol (guitars, vocals), Ashley Hutchings (basses, jug), and Martin Lamble (drums, percussion, and violin).  This album marked a transition for the young band as prior to its release, drummer Martin Lamble and Richard Thompson’s girlfriend lost their lives in a tragic traffic accident.  It was one of those harsh events that alters a band’s trajectory.  We hope you will seek this album out, give it a good listen, and make it a part of your daily listening pleasure.  Compared to modern-day music, Fairport Convention beats all of it hands down every single time.

  63. 2021 Tuesday: As Senator Patrick Leahy, D-VT, swears in U.S. senators for the upcoming ‘impeachment trial of former President Donald J. Trump,’ West Virginia Democrat Senator Joe Manchin is joined by Arizona Democrat Senator Kyrsten Sinema vow NOT to vote to overthrow the filibuster as knuckle-dragging Senate “Majority Leader” Chuck Schumer, D-NY, seeks to do.  Speaking of the upcoming second impeachment of former President Donald J. Trump, the Senate holds a vote on whether to impeach or not to impeach the 45th president.  By a vote of 55-45 the Senate votes to move ahead with five of those voting in favor to hold the trial are Republicans: Senators Pat Toomey, Mitt Romney, Susan Murkowski, Ben Sasse, and Susan Collins, respectfully of Pennsylvania, Utah, Alaska, Nebraska, and Maine.  Losers.
  64. 2021 Tuesday A: Speaking of impeachment, noted legal scholar, professor, and trial attorney Alan Dershowitz says that ‘if the chief justice does not preside at the trial, it is BOGUS, that it’s little more than political theater.’  The famed jurist quoted Abraham Lincoln’s famous words regarding the conquered South after the Civil War: ‘with malice towards none and with charity for all,’ noting that the Democrats are doing the exact opposite in their treatment of the former president, his supporters, and those who disagree with what the Democrats are doing.  Regarding the sham impeachment, President Trump is adding another attorney from South Carolina to his defense team- former federal prosecutor Deborah Barbier to his bevy of lawyers.
  65. 2021 Tuesday B: Subsequently- regarding the upcoming impeachment trial of President Trump, 29 Republican senators will oppose it to their utmost.  Mark Halperin- questions whether Mitch McConnell is reading accurately the mood of the GOP and is now wavering on earlier comments that he would ‘vote to convict Mr. Trump.’  “Cocaine Mitch” is one of the biggest snakes in the U.S. Senate and although he has done some good things, he is little more than an a**-kissing POS of the Democrats.  Trump helped him win HIS election and much like the scorpion on the back of the frog crossing the river, Senate MINORITY Leader McConnell stabbed him in the back.  Kentucky- recall this scumbag NOW.  If you can.
  66. 2021 Tuesday C: Speaking of “Cocaine Mitch,” “CM” and Senate ‘Majority Leader’ Chuck Schumer have arrived at a power-sharing deal that will see all committees with equal numbers of Republicans and Democrats but with Democrats serving as the chairmen-and-women.   Speaking of losers, ‘President’ Joe Biden says, “The impeachment trial must go on,” mumbling whatever his earpiece tells him to say such as ‘if the trial does NOT go forward, it could damage the nation.’  Meanwhile, former President Donald J. Trump has opened an Office of the Former President in Florida, an office with which, he will find qualified conservative candidates to primary RINO scumbags in upcoming elections.  Yesterday, he pledged his full-fledged support to Sarah Huckabee Sanders to run for governor of Arkansas in 2022.  Visit www.45office.com. Contact Mr. Trump there.  In other possible election news, many believe Ohio Republican Congressman Jim Jordan will seek Senator Rob Portman’s seat in 2022 as will Georgia Congressman Doug Collins the seat of pro-China RINO Governor Brian Kemp.  We expect both to win.
  67. 2021 Tuesday D: Kevin McCarthy mocks ‘President’ Joe Biden’s calls for ‘unity.’  The ‘46th president mumbles what his handlers tell him to say then does as they tell him to do which is NOT UNITY.   Google and Microsoft are suspending donations to all Republicans who did not accept the results of the fraudulent 2020 Presidential Election.  Elsewhere, the Goya Foods Board of Directors censures CEO Robert Unanue over his unabashed support of President Donald J. Trump.  In other ‘President’ Biden news, his press secretary- Jen Psaki- does not seem to know a great deal.  When asked by reporters as to WHY the ‘Biden administration’ is not going to stay tough on preventing the Chi-Coms from penetrating the U.S. power grid, she had no answers just like she had no answers regarding Antifa and their continued running amok around the country.  Speaking of Antifa, Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler had to pepper spray a POS Antifa punk for getting in his face in a restaurant.  Good for you.
  68. 2021 Tuesday E: Antifa-infiltrated Capitol Hill protesters continue flaunting their successes at the storming of Capitol Hill on January 6.  Speaking of the event, the woman who ran off with Nancy “Mumbles” Pelosi’s laptop may face a permanent Internet ban once she is out of legal jeopardy.   Speaking of Internet and social media bans, Twitter removes- permanently- the account of My Pillow CEO Mike Lindell’s account yet after ‘removing the account,’ it began retweeting all manner of left-wing messages so how does one lose their account to then have some other entity begin using it?  Evil.  Meanwhile, Florida Democrat Congresswoman Stephanie Murray has a bill that will PROHIBIT anyone with ideas the ruling Democrats don’t like- such as belief the 2020 Presidential Election was full of fraud or in QAnon which does not sound all that far-fetched from holding any kind of elective office or work in government at any level.  Wow.
  69. 2021 Tuesday F: A recent Gallup Poll shows that 89-percent of American citizens are dissatisfied with the country.  Go figure: stolen elections, fake news media, social media bans, censorship, harsh restrictions, lockdowns, and Antifa and BLM mobs running amok in the streets, who the hell wouldn’t be?  Meanwhile the head of the Anti-Defamation League wants Twitter to ban the Grand Ayatollah Khamenei for constantly tweeting he wants to kill Jews and erase Israel from the face of the planet.   Elsewhere, Russia says ‘vigorous efforts needed to extend Russia-U.S. New Start arms control treaty.’  Also, as the ‘Biden administration’ presses Russia on releasing Alexei Navalny and imprisoned protesters basically puts it red fist in ‘President Biden’s’ face and brushes the senile fool off.   Finally, former Wisconsin Republican Governor Scott Walker labels the People’s Republic of China as the “New Evil Empire” due to their appalling human rights record.
  70. 2021 Tuesday G: Alleged Chi-Com spy and honeypot participant Congressman Eric “Farter-in-Chief” Swalwell says, “The FBI cleared me of any hint of conspiring with the Chi-Coms against my country.’  Bulls**t, no one has cleared you of anything.  In other political news, people are championing Fox News Channel’s chief meteorologist Janice Dean as a potential GOP candidate for the governor of New York seeing as how she is immensely popular and Governor Andrew “Killer” Cuomo killed both her father-and-mother-in-law by putting COVID-19-infected patients into their rest home.  Yikes.  “Killer Cuomo” had better watch out…
  71. 2021 Tuesday H: The Vatican clears retired U.S. Bishop Joseph Hart of seven abuse charges.  Hart served the church in Cheyanne, Wyoming.  Next, we learn the new iPhone can screw up pacemakers and cause heart attacks.  Love that Chi-Com technology.   Next, we learn that the TSA now has been politicized as Jennifer Kerns of All-American Radio told Newsmax TV: TSA officials are blocking Global Entry of persons who served in the former Trump administration.  WTF!   Elsewhere, in a 78-22 vote in the U.S. Senate, Anthony Blinken is confirmed as the next U.S. Secretary of State even though the Chi-Coms have dumped loads of cash- tens of millions of dollars- into his back pocket.  Also, Janet Yellen takes the oath of office which makes her the official U.S. Treasury Secretary.     In other news, 200 House Republicans vote to uphold the Hyde Amendment which prohibits the use of taxpayer dollars to fund the Pro-Death Movement.
  72. 2021 Tuesday I: In other shameful news, communist Jane Fonda is set to receive the Golden Globes Cecil B. DeMille Award.  Big whoop.  Meanwhile, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki- not wearing a mask and repeatedly wiping her nose with her bare hand- denies that her boss, ‘President’ Joe Biden ever labeled Donald Trump’s travel ban for COVID-19 as xenophobic or racist.  Uh, but he did, Jen!  In another incident of plagiarism, ‘President’ Joe Biden says he will ‘use the military to step up deliveries of the Chi-Vi vaccine.’  Your predecessor already set this in motion.   Also regarding the Chi-Vi, Dr. Anthony Fauci- the highest-paid putz in the federal government- says he was disturbed by his former boss’ comments on the value of bleach and other disease-killing chemicals.  He maintains the 45th president was talking about ingesting such substances; however, if you listen to the tape, the president was discussing the therapeutic effects of such items and it’s too bad we could not find something that could do the same for the human body.    Finally, Kayleigh McEnany is set to return to Fox News Channel but now, that job offer is on hold.
  73. 2021 Tuesday J: DAY SEVEN OF THE BIDEN REGIME- stick around to discover what is going on across the country…well, you will all want to know this: the Fake News Media has now gone down the rabbit hole what with the Fresh Start program in which, much like George Orwell wrote in his classic book, “1984,” will rewrite ALL past news stories to remove unfavorable news about Democrats and will rehabilitate their images and history of doings.  ‘President’ Joe Biden and ‘Vice President’ Kamala Harris definitely need much rehabilitation because both put loads of minorities into prison with their racist criminal justice policies or their enforcement of those policies.   Meanwhile, far-left former Barack Hussein Obama first AG Eric Holder urges his fellow Democrats to STACK THE U.S. SUPREME COURT NOW.  And you honestly believe these people LOVE the United States of America as founded.
  74. 2021 Tuesday K: Governor Gavin Newsom of California is scrambling to reopen California as the move to recall the little POS now has more than 1.2 million signatures.  The problem for him is that very few liked him from the start nor are they in line with his harsh lockdowns and restrictions so when we hit 1.5 million signatures, the man is going to lose office like Gray Davis- another Democrat- did back in 2003 and citizens of the state liked him far more than the current bozo ruining the state.  (PS- he’s Nancy “Mumbles” Pelosi’s nephew- that says so much).  Elsewhere, New Mexico- a state that threw in with “Pro-China Joe” Biden- is now going to feel the brunt of the ‘46th president’s’ energy policies losing thousands of jobs as the Green New Deal politics come to the fore.  Time to find ‘Republican judges’ and do to the Democratic-Socialists what they always do to Republican administrations and that is to hammer, hammer, hammer them with injunction after injunction after injunction.  We can do it so let’s do it!  Texas is beginning to do it NOW.
  75. 2021 Tuesday L: ‘President’ Joe Biden orders an end to publicly-funded private prisons.  Yet another XO, folks, 20 by our count.  Meanwhile, Senate ‘Majority Leader’ Charles “Cryin’ Chuck” Schumer says the Dems may advance a COVID-19 Relief Bill sans any GOP participation.  NOTE- whatever relief they give the American people, the American people will have to pay income taxes on whatever amount it is.  Elsewhere, former Democrat Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii labels ‘John Brennan and Adam Schiff as domestic enemies of the United States.  Next, a federal judge hammers ‘President’ Joe Biden’s XO putting all deportations on hold for 100 days.  About flipping time, federal judges, how about an injunction to overturn the halt to the Keystone XL Pipeline.  Finally, “Big Brother Joe” Biden vows to fight systemic racism in the country, racism that he and his former boss, Barack Hussein Obama had eight flipping years to fix and didn’t.  Of course, systemic racism does not exist, why do millions of people seek to come to our country?  Because it’s a wonderful place.

  79. 2021 Tuesday P: ‘President’ Joe Biden’s Department of Justice ends the ‘zero tolerance’ rule for illegal aliens seeking to storm the country.   Elsewhere, after writing a BS story in the New Yorker Magazine, the company had to return the National Magazine Award.  One leftwing site after another lies, steals other people’s works, and spreads propaganda, yet they remain open while leftists pursue bloggers like us.  Meanwhile, a tornado touched down in Alabama killing one person and injuring at least 17 others.   Next, the U.S. is seriously considering forcing everyone who wants to board an airliner to take the Chi-Vi test, you know, the nasal swab for the Xi Jinping Bat Flu.  Finally, the man given the nod to take John Robert’s place in the second impeachment trial of former President Donald J. ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

UFO roared back with its 10th studio album, the highly acclaimed “Mechanix” on February 02, 1982.  The lineup featured Phil Mogg (vocals), Andy Parker (drums), Paul Chapman (guitars), Pete Way (bass), and Neil Carter (keyboards/rhythm guitar/saxophones).  This would be the final rodeo for founding member Pete Way who would move onto other projects and the like, being somewhat discontent with the commercial sound the group was acquiring but hey- bands that came out of the 1960s such as Wishbone Ash and others all had to adjust in order to remain relevant.  We love this superb recording and know that you will, too, so please seek it out wherever you shop for the absolute best in rock music.  Compared to modern days bands, the dregs of UFO (and this is not their ‘dregs’) make whatever garbage Maroon Five or other similar testosterone-less groups claim as their magnus opus.  Please, look for it and enjoy- you will be glad you did.

ENDNOTES:

[i] We began promoting the music of the greatest British blues rock band, the Climax Blues Band, beginning on Monday, 16-September-2019 through Sunday, 27-October-2019.  This included the solo efforts of Pete Haycock and Colin Cooper.  We hope you will check them out and add them to your collection.

[ii] We are not sure when we will begin offering albums by the Little River Band as that could be another 5-10 years from now but one day, we most surely will because they are one of the world’s greatest bands.  Seeing them live in the 1970s was a mind-altering experience, my friends.

[iii] Not sure when we will promote the music of Van Halen but when we do, we will also present the music of Sammy Hagar so please stay tuned.

[iv] We look forward to doing the music of this famed funk-rock band.  The Ohio Players are amazing and what is even more exciting is the fact that the band is still alive today and performing to this day.

OO. Uh, okay.

  40. 2014 Monday: The U.S.
  41. 2015 Tuesday: New reports surface that Hillary Clinton’s private email server- the one in her basement near the crapper that stored up to 55,000 pages of confidential documents during her time as secretary of state underwent more assaults than previously suspected and/or confirmed.  Additional attacks came from communist China (say it ain’t so!), Germany, and South Korea.  Hillary said only information on her Pilates training and daughter Chelsea’s wedding were on that acid-washed and bleach-bitted server.  Uh, okay.
  42. 2016 Thursday: According to CBS News, reports say that the markets believe that ‘IF Donald J.
  43. 2017 Friday: The board of directors of the Weinstein Company said movie mogul Harvey Weinstein was on indefinite leave the company he founded amid countless sexual harassment allegations made against him and the subsequent internal investigations into the worthless POS.  Note- Mr. Weinstein is a lifelong Democrat- BA-BOOM!  Meanwhile, new NHL franchise the Las Vegas Golden Knights wins their first-ever game, an away victory to the Dallas Stars, 2-1.  Congratulations!
  44. 2018 Saturday: After one of the most harrowing confirmations in recent memory, Brett Kavanaugh, following a 50-48 vote in the U.S. Senate, took his place on the Supreme Court of the United States as its 114th associate justice.
  45. 2019 Sunday: Two rock stars died on this date: first, famed drummer Ginger Baker of Cream[iv], died in Canterbury, UK, on this date.  He had entered the hospital on 09-25-2019.  Next, longtime bassist with the Southern rock band, .38-Special[v], Larry Junstrom, died on this date at age 70.
  46. 2020 Tuesday:  A House committee recommends the bust-up of the BIG TECH companies which cannot come soon enough.
  47. 2020 Tuesday A: A recent Axios-Ipsos poll suggests that minds have not changed with President Donald J. Uh, okay.   Regarding the Chinese Virus, the White House is bucking strict guidelines for emergency release of COVID-19 vaccine; so says the New York Times.  Regarding government, a desperate Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-NY, flipflops on recent Wuhan Virus Crisis comments saying that “REMOTE VOTING in the case of Judge Amy Coney Barrett to replace the late Ruth Bader Ginsburg is not right.’  Prior to this comment, he was all for remote and attendance in the world’s (so-called) greatest deliberative body.’  For senators ill with COVID-19, attend sessions in full Hazmat suits.
  48. 2020 Tuesday B: Recent polls now report that “Pro-China Joe” Biden’s lead over President Donald J. Trump has now become an insurmountable 16 points.  Wow.  It’s all over!  Yeah, right.  Friends, we are more determined than ever to show up at polling places in person and to send these Beijing-loving leftists into the next dimension.  Meanwhile, the world’s ‘most beloved pontiff’- Pope Francis- announces that capitalism has failed and that collectivism is the only way forward, due to the Chi-Vi encircling the world.
  49. 2020 Tuesday C: Just in: fiery lead guitarist with Van Halen- Eddie Van Halen- is dead at age 65 from a losing battle with long-term throat cancer.  Add another member to Rock-and-Roll Heaven on this date. He died in Santa Monica, California.
  50. 2020 Tuesday D: Here are today’s Chi-Com Horseshoe Bat Flu Statistics for the globe: 35,511,291 confirmed cases, UP by 172,166 cases, 1,044,090 confirmed deaths, UP by 5,370 deaths, and 24,770,288 confirmed recoveries, UP by 198,979 recoveries.  Here are the numbers for the United States: 7,553,392 confirmed cases, UP by 8,727 new cases, 213,462 confirmed deaths, UP by 87 new deaths, and 4,905,362 confirmed recoveries, UP by 2,573 new recoveries.
  51. 2020 Tuesday E: Next, in the three states in which, the world-famous American Institute of Culinary Politics-The Elemental News of the Day employs chef-authors, California, Hawaii, and Washington, here are the stats, Golden State first: 838,956 confirmed cases, 16,205 confirmed deaths, but as is the norm, NO mention of confirmed recoveries.
  52. 2020 Tuesday F: Here are today’s Stock Market closes: DOW Jones Industrial Average: 27,772.76, DOWN 375.88 points (-1.34%).
  53. 2020 Tuesday G:   Tomorrow night is the debate between Vice President Michael Pence and Senator Kamala Harris.
  54. 2020 Tuesday H: Today, Greg Kelly on Newsmax reports the Trump-Russia Collusion HOAX was a creation of the Hillary Rodham Clinton campaign.
  55. 2020 Tuesday I: Not sure what else the Chi-Coms and their Democratic Party gofers are up to stick around today so and find out.
  56. 2020 Tuesday J:  We reported earlier in the day the death of Eddie Van Halen.

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

Roy Wood’s Wizzard released a belated effort, “Main Street,” on July 12, 2000, an album originally recorded in 1975.  Once again, his band featured the lineup of Wood himself on numerous instruments and vocals as well as former Move bandmate Rick Price (bass/vocals/percussion), Bob Brady (keyboards, horns, and vocals), Nick Pentelow (saxophones and woodwinds), Mike Burney (horns), Charlie Grima (drums), and one or two other musicians to round out the sound.  The album filled in some blanks and featured more of Wood’s jazzier tunes which makes it a joy to behold.  As always, the writing and lyrics are superb as anywhere Roy Wood is means there is a great deal of talent injected into whatever effort upon which he applies himself.  Please, check it out and enjoy because the AICPENDBLOG.COM recommends it for all readers of the blog.

#TT001.1u All Hits & More #21 01-04-2020 (400)

The Troggs record company released a glorious package of the band’s easily recognizable hit tunes- and then some- on March 01, 2004: “All the Hits Plus More.”  Members of the original band re-recorded them as sometimes occurs in the world of music, especially when management gets recording artists to sign over the rights to their tunes.  Still, it’s a good collection.  If you have yet to get in on the ground floor of this seminal, British hard-rocking band, one given birth in a UK garage, then you need to zip on over to Amazon.com and pick it up in the format, the condition, and the price that works best for you; you will be glad you did so please, do it now and enjoy.

[ii] We are not sure when we will begin offering albums by the Little River Band as that could be another 5-10 years from now but one day, we most surely will because they are one of the world’s greatest bands.  Seeing them live in the 1970s was a mind-altering

Just the Facts: lying Leonard Pitts seeks to perpetuate the falsehood that the Covington Catholic High School kids mistreated Native American ‘elder and Vietnam veteran’ Nathan Phillips- it was the other way around

The Black Hebrew Israelites, a fringe group of fringe groups if ever one existed, a group that in Times Square hurls all manner of vile and despicable insults at anyone who passes by them was there in DC this past Friday when the ‘incident’ occurred. They were visible participants in the event that viewers of ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, and MSNBC all say was racist, an encounter between rich, white youth and the poor people who have suffered centuries of ‘white oppression’ heaped atop them.

WINTER SESSION 2019

BLOG POST #3,009 AT THE AICP-END

648 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2020

MAGA hats are now the equivalent of ‘white hoods?’

Mukilteo, WA, 01-26-2019 Saturday:  Good morning friends, welcome to the early Saturday morning edition of the American Institute of Culinary Politics-Elemental News of the Day, a place that provides professional chefs such as me, my colleagues, and anyone else who works in the world of professional food service a platform upon which, they can share their ideas, opinions, and thoughts.  We do not report the news, we share the opinions of those who wake up early every day, work in front of misty steam-jackets and bubbling stock pots, who work over mounds of dough, or who dispense alcoholic beverages to thirsty customers watching rigged NFL games.

Leonard Pitts- mouthpiece for the left who writes ‘opinion’ pieces for the Miami Herald– makes me sick.  He claims that he is open-minded yet he is a tool for the left, a belching organ of idiocy, a dolt, a fool, and a bum.  Like everyone else who saw the highly edited videos of the ‘confrontation’ between ‘Native American elder and Vietnam veteran’ (oh, yeah, right), Nathan Phillips, and young men from the Covington Catholic High School in the great state of Kentucky, they at first were momentarily outraged but as the truth came out, sane people changed their opinions while bigots and haters held on to proven lies.

Instead of acknowledging that once again the left got yet another story wrong, LP continues to blubber like a beached whale about how the kids mistreated this ‘elder of the Omaha people, this man who served with valor and distinction at the height of the Vietnam war, and how these evil scumbag kids exhibited all that is wrong with America.’

I would say to Mr. Pitts that ‘you sir, are full of it.  You did not wait to see the full videos of the event that occurred this past weekend in the aftermath of the March for Life event in Washington, DC.  No, you rushed to judgment and like the rest of your ilk, you will twist the facts to suit YOUR version of the story just as you did the case against George Zimmerman in the killing of Trayvon Martin.’

First of all, marching for ‘life’ sure beats the hell out of marching for ‘death,’ which seems to be what the women’s march and the ‘pro-choice,’ (which in my view means ‘pro-death’) folks, and there they were, the Black Hebrew Israelites and the downtrodden Native Americans, all inhabiting more or less the same area.

Now, the Black Hebrew Israelites were hurling their usual banter of vile and despicable insults, calling the Catholic high schoolers all manner of anti-gay insults, calling them ‘products of incest,’ inferring that they have sex with the priests, and all the rest of the crap these horrible nuts vomit at those whom they dislike, which seemingly is everyone.

These fine products of humanity, people whom I bet Leonard Pitts reveres and respects (despite anything contrary he might say) were also lambasting the Indians as they did their war dances, banged their war drums, and jabbering in their native tongue.

Rather than risk getting the fecal matter beaten out of them by confronting the vocal ‘black Jews,’ they chose instead to walk across the mall and into the faces of the white kids who were committing the horrible crime of wearing “MAGA” hats and shirts.  They believe in ‘making America great again’ which dummies like Mr. Pitts now equate with wearing white hoods.  Oh, really, Mr. Pitts?

Mr. Pitts claims that Mr. Phillips- the self-proclaimed ‘recon ranger’ who served proudly in the ‘Nam without ever having left the United States’ (sounds like Senator Richard Blumenthal, another lying Democrat attempting to capitalize on the suffering of those who indeed did serve, fight and die in that hellish war) attempted to wade through the boys who prevented him from moving first to the right, then to the left, all the while saying loathsome things to him such as ‘build the wall.’

The media focuses on one young man, junior Nick Sandmann, who stood in front of Mr. Phillips who was banging his tom-tom in front of his face as he sang his native songs.  They say the young man’s ‘smirk was the face of white privilege’ to which the young man says he was trying to appear non-threatening and respectful of the ‘Native American elder.’

Now, Mr. Phillips, he knew what he was doing.  He knew that if he and his crew went over to the Black Hebrew Israelites and beat their war drums in front of them that he and his jeering buddies would be wearing his tom-tom around their necks and most likely would have awakened in the hospital in the ICU with tubes down their throats.

What was Mr. Sandmann to do?  If he had not smiled, goobers such as Mr. Pitts and others of his leftwing ilk would have proclaimed, “THIS IS THE FACE OF WHITE HATRED, OF WHITE OPPRESSION, OF PURE EVIL, OF NAZISM AND ALL FOR WHICH IT STOOD.”  No winning for Mr. Sandmann, not when the left decides YOU are ‘it.’

As more and more information has come to light, the Covington High School kids are totally innocent of the charges leveled against them by leftists.  It was Mr. Phillips and his buds from AIM as well as their compadres, the Black Hebrew Israelites who were in the wrong.  Besides, since when is wearing political attire wrong?  MAGA hats, the new white hood?  Please, spare me the bull-s**t.

Mr. Pitts, let me remind you that the ones who wear the hoods were and still are southern Democrats.  Let me remind you that those marching for pro-choice rights were the very same people who sought to abort black babies and hence the black race out of existence.  Stop spreading disinformation, no wonder people find the fake news media nauseating and a threat to the future of the country.  In other words, shut the f**k up, please.

As for the Covington kids, I hope they continue standing strong.  I would say to the Catholic dioceses in their area to back the kids.  Wearing a MAGA hat is their right and if you punish them for having done nothing, well, I can understand why Catholicism is dying.  The priests sex abuse scandals are doing what centuries of your enemies could not do and that is to destroy the Catholic Church.

I will see you tomorrow.  Please, join me for the Sunday edition.

This would have been my photo, I, your host, back in the 1980’s when I was the Executive Chef at a country club in the Napa Valley but for security purposes, we have scaled some of our personal info back so now, you get a caricature of me done by up-and-coming Bakersfield street artist, Simone.  Nice job, Simone!  However, I spent many years working in professional Food Service, having begun as a young boy working for my father in his restaurant over on the coast in Pismo Beach.  Food Service is in my blood and it’s something I still do actively every day in my late eighties in Washington State.

WE CONTINUE PRESENTING THE MUSIC OF THE REMARKABLE BRITISH ROCK BAND, QUEEN:

SATURDAY, JANUARY 26, 2019

The next studio album by Queen, “Hot Space,” came out on May 21, 1982, and featured yet another big hit, a duet with David Bowie, “Under Pressure.”  Such a unique song from such an amazing album, even though fans consider it to be among their least artistic, it still is a must-listen and a must-own.  The band was experimenting with synthesizers and it is always amazing how when an album comes out, it might not receive the same attention as it does when fans revisit it.  We love this album and know that you will, too, so please seek it out wherever you buy the best music- you will enjoy it.

FEATURED ALBUM OF THE DAY:

The next studio album by Queen, “Hot Space,” came out on May 21, 1982, and featured yet another big hit, a duet with David Bowie, “Under Pressure.”  Such a unique song from such an amazing album, even though fans consider it to be among their least artistic, it still is a must-listen and a must-own.  The band was experimenting with synthesizers and it is always amazing how when an album comes out, it might not receive the same attention as it does when fans revisit it.  We love this album and know that you will, too, so please seek it out wherever you buy the best music- you will enjoy it.

Ronnie Wood formerly of the Faces released his second solo effort, the superb “Now Look” on July 02, 1975.  With help from loads of friends, he delivered another slam-dunk effort from which, he would maintain a lengthy solo career as he played in the remnants of the Faces and then with the Rolling Stones with whom, he has been second guitarist to Keith Richards (who appears on this album as he did on Wood’s freshman effort) since 1975.  This album is a blazing hot one featuring a wide range of musical inspirations and with help from a wide swath of British and American musicians.  We love it and know that you will, too, which is why we encourage everyone to seek it out wherever they buy their classic rock music.  You will enjoy it.
