If this is going to become the new Deadwood, so be it. We are ready. This effort features the band performing in its earliest phase with Roger Waters, Syd Barrett, Nicky Mason, and Richard Wright. We hope you will seek this album out and consider adding it to your growing collection of nothing but the absolute best in rock music as you are going to enjoy it. What are you waiting for? 60. 2015 Thursday: After an oil pipeline burst two days previously, cleanup at Refugio Beach on the California coastline continues unabated. Approximately 21,000 gallons flowed out to sea while another 105,000 gallons on the land.
  61. 2016: In the hinterlands of Afghanistan, a U.S. drone strike reportedly kills Taliban leader Mullah Akhtar Muhammad Mansour. Good riddance to a POS terrorist.  Meanwhile, longtime drummer with Megadeth[xii], American Nick Menza dies at age 51.
  62. 2017: In Nassau Colosseum in New York City, Barnum & Bailey Circus gives its final performance after 146 years. They do this because of changing attitudes (people being corrupted by bleeding heart liberals sniveling and whining) and near-constant lawsuits by PETA goons and other animal rights activists. What a shame.
  63. 2018: In the western part of Iran, toadstools poison at least 800 people and kill at least 11. Look, learn to tell the difference between noxious fungi and edible ones, dimwits. Meanwhile, former President Barack Hussein Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama sign a multi-million dollar deal with Netflix to produce programming. Talk about buying influence!
  64. 2019: In Chef Vladimir Gdansk’s home state of Washington, the government there passes a law making the state the first one in the country to legalize HUMAN COMPOSTING. WTF is wrong with Governor Jay Inslee and his band of crazed far-left liberal Democrats. Might as well feed the deceased to the pigs.
  65. 2020 Thursday: Thanks to communist China, another 2.5-million Americans file for unemployment benefits last week, bringing the total of unemployed Americans to 38 million or 14.7-percent of the workforce, a number not seen since the depths of the Great Depression.  Even worse, it all happened over the course of a single month.  Meanwhile, polls show President Trump’s approval ratings at 44-percent (take them with a grain of salt- or two!) and disapproval at 54-percent.  We shall see.
  66. 2020 Thursday A: Here are the global statistics for the Chinese Virus- aka COVID-19, aka the Kung Flu, aka the Wuhan Virus Crisis- for today: 5,014,943 confirmed number of cases, 328,462 confirmed number of deaths, but 1,909,701 number of confirmed recoveries.   Here are the figures for the United States: 1,604,862 confirmed number of cases, 94,965 confirmed number of deaths, but 306,171 number of confirmed recoveries which is great.  In the three states in which, the AICPENDBLOG.COM has chef-authors, California, Hawaii, and Washington, here are the stats, California first: 84,057 confirmed number of cases, 3,436 confirmed number of deaths, but typical of ultra-left-wing states, ZERO mention of the number of confirmed recoveries.  Next, here are the stats for Hawaii: 643 confirmed number of cases, 17 confirmed number of deaths, but 578 number of confirmed recoveries which is extraordinary.  Finally, in the once-proud but now socialist-liberal hellhole, Washington, here are the stats: 18,971 confirmed number of cases, 1,037 confirmed number of deaths, but like California, no reported number of confirmed recoveries which tells you all you need to know about the regime running Olympia.
  67. 2020 Thursday B: As far as COVID-19 numbers go, communist China has changed their numbers somewhat.  Here are their current figures: 82,967 confirmed number of cases, 4,634 confirmed number of deaths, but 78,249 number of confirmed recoveries.   Sources in still-free Hong Kong report the number of cases to be well over one million, that the death toll approaches 750,000, with the number of recoveries being unclear.  Free Hong Kong!  Free Tibet!  Free Macau!  Free Taiwan via making them a separate nation once again with their own seat in the United Nations.  Enough is enough with indulging the Chinese Communist Party, let’s return to the Two-China Policy!  It is interesting to note that Beijing is now trying to crack down on Hong Kong’s independence while the rest of the world is fighting Wuhan’s biowarfare.  We shall see.

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

#PF001.2f Live Berlin #32 05-08-2020 (400)

The next album by Roger Waters is a performance of Pink Floyd’s “The Wall,” a show he did in Berlin on July 21, 1990, to celebrate the collapse of the Berlin Wall, the end of the Soviet Union, and the freeing of not only eastern Europe but also Russia. This album is extremely awesome and the musicians joining him are numerous and extremely talented. We know you will enjoy this show as much as do and did back at the time so please, seek it out and consider adding it to your growing collection of this talented individual and the band he headed throughout much of its creative career. You will love it.

  48. 2020: Democrats are now blaming President Donald J. Trump for the Iranian shootdown of a Ukrainian jetliner that killed 176 people aboard her. Yes, their arguments are convoluted and crazy but it’s all they have. Meanwhile, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, chewing her cud[xiii], says she is ‘going to send the articles of impeachment to the U.S. Senate NEXT week.’ Most political observers are skeptical of this statement. However, the dilapidated speaker says she will meet with her caucus in the House on Tuesday. Does she possess the pair of humongous balls to move ahead? We suspect she will because AOC is plotting behind her back. Meanwhile, Tehran swears on a stack of holy Qurans that they did NOT shoot down the Ukrainian airliner. Finally, Marianne Williamson becomes the 14th Democrat to abandon the 2020 race. Oprah- WTF did you continue supporting someone you encouraged to enter the race.

#TT001.1e Hip Hip Hooray #5 12-25-2019 (400)

Sadly, the Troggs were undergoing a change in musical direction but what the heck- rock and roll music fame and fortune can be a fleeting thing and management and production can be even worse. The next album released by the Troggs- “Hip-Hip Hooray” came out on July 04, 1968 and found the band moving into British pop-rock, which some would call bubblegum, which the American Institute of Culinary Politics-Elemental News of the Day does not call ‘bubblegum.’ Great British rock music by one of the seminal rock bands of all flipping time, we encourage everyone drawing breath to use the link and visit Amazon.com. There, you can get it in the format, the condition, and the price that works best for you. You will be glad you did.

[iii] We promoted the music of the Jefferson Airplane beginning on Tuesday, 05-April-2011 through Sunday, 22-May-2011. This presentation included the Jefferson Starship, too, of which, the artist was NOT a member.

[iv] We expect to promote the music of Steely Dan sometime within the next decade or so.

[v] At some point when we return to presenting the music of American bands, we will promote that of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers as well as of Tom Petty himself. We hope you will await word as to when we do. We thank you.

[xii] We hope to promote the music of David Bowie within the next decades.

[xiii] Many people who contact us with comments are curious as to why someone so deranged as Nancy Pelosi is allowed to continue in her post. Why hasn’t her No. 2, Steny Hoyer, D-Md., not come up behind her and busted a cap on her head? We have no answer. However, many believe that the Baby Evita- AOC- aka the FLY- is the one calling the shots and that older Democrats fear having her primary them in this year’s elections by putting up nuts like her, Ilhan Omar, and Rashida Tlaib, to take them out. Time for a ‘Night of the Long Knives,’ folks, to remove these youngsters as threats to the established order.

When I ‘WOKE,’ I saw that Climate Change was little more than a scam, a brick in the road to socialism and loss of freedom- pay no attention to AOC- that girl is crazy

Our planet has been here a long, long time and I suspect it will still be here when the human race is but a trifle in the geological record. We will go the way of the dinosaurs and it won’t be because we sent too much carbon into the atmosphere; no, it will be because we killed one another off using WMDs or a massive rock from deep space slammed into our planet. Yet, life will always find a way to come back.

BLOG POST #3,143 AT THE AICP-END

514 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2020

Pay no attention to climate change, folks, it is a fallacy whereas chem trails, now that could be something bad…

Century City, CA, 06-09-2019 Sunday:  Here we are, the final day of the week and then my colleague Chef Pedro will take over the coveted Stinkbug Chair in Oildale, California.  I must admit, I have been observing the ‘chem trails’ that seemingly occur over Bakersfield every week or so and I must admit, it is a very peculiar experience to see all manner of alphabet letters and well-known as well as arcane symbols crisscrossing the sky as though there were plane after plane after plane roaring overhead in the stratosphere.

I have stood outside myself early in the morning and seen the chem trails, one atop another, going back and forth, no rhyme, no reason, can’t even see the aircraft doing it half of the time and yet, there they are.  Many people who live in Kern County of which, Bakersfield is a part, are all curious but haven’t a clue as to whom to ask, “What the hell is going on?  Something ain’t right here.”

Just the Facts: no sooner does Trump throw off collusion with Russia, now, Deutsche Bank says he and his son-in-law may have been laundering money; uh huh

I think the first strike against President Trump and his family comes from citizen Trump when he began questioning the citizenship of Mr. Obama as far back as 2010. According to various sources, he directed his ‘fixer,’ then-personal attorney for Mr. Trump, Michael Cohen, to begin floating questions about the birthplace of President Obama. We did, after all, see an ID for one of the colleges Mr. Obama attended in which, the words “Foreign Student” were emblazoned across it. Sounds somewhat suspicious to me.

SPRING SESSION 2019

BLOG POST #3,124 AT THE AICP-END

533 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2020

Poor President Trump, out of the frying pan and into the fire thanks to the hatred the Democrats have for him…

Oildale, CA, 05-21-2019 Tuesday: Poor President Trump.  Poor, poor President Donald J. Trump.  What the heck does someone have to do in order to be cleared of all wrongdoing?  The laborious report compiled by Special Counsel Robert S. Mueller III found NO evidence of ‘collusion’ with the Russians or ‘obstruction,’ although it left that one somewhat vague so the Democrats conducting oversight can continue being royal pains in the ass.

Now, some goober at the New York Times has reported that ‘Deutsche Bank failed to forward suspicions about President Donald Trump to American authorities.’  My, my, my, will it ever end?  Most likely not because Mr. Trump has done several things to draw the ire of Deep State Democrat and RINO denizens who will take him out using whatever method works best and guarantees results.

Mr. Trump did not let up on this and even though he chose not to enter the 2012 presidential race, he wanted more proof.  He went so far as to offer President Obama a charitable donation to a foundation of his choosing of $5 million for the presentation of a long-form birth certificate and his passport records.

As we know, this was not the last of it as famed Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio was conducting his own investigation into the veracity of whether Mr. Obama was an American citizen or was not.  Perhaps this could be among the reasons that Obama’s Justice Department went after the sheriff and managed to bring a conviction against him for ‘mistreating illegal aliens’ or whatever the heck it was he did, something for which President Trump later pardoned him.

Many people have questioned Mr. Obama’s ‘citizenship’ including me because he does not nor did he ever ‘act like an American.’  He sought to reverse virtually everything every other president has done, whether making friends of our enemies and enemies of our friends, putting the nation deeper in debt, deeper than it ever has been, as well as being far too friendly with every Muslim nation and terrorist group such as Iran and the Muslim Brotherhood.

Yet, after challenge after challenge not producing the ‘beef,’ Mr. Obama remained in office and won a second term.  Whether he is a true American citizen or an imposter, we shall never know but one day, the truth will indeed come out.

Back to Mr. Trump, his next strike to draw the wrath of the Deep State on him was conducting chants of “LOCK HER UP” at his campaign and presidential re-election rallies when they came around to Hillary Clinton.  Granted, Mrs. Clinton has done much to go to prison for but it has to have aroused deep-seated hatred and anger towards Donald J. Trump because it was flummoxing for her.

Never before in modern American history, however, have we ever heard something as outrageous and as humorous for saying what most would never say, that Mrs. Clinton should be in prison along with hubby and former President Bill Clinton.

The third and final strike that Mr. Trump made was when he beat Mrs. Clinton and won the White House in November 2016.  For some reason, this amazing act, this come-from-behind victory (the polls and pundits counted him out) by Mr. Trump made the Democratic Party go nuts.  They were close to throwing open windows on the 29th floor and going out the window or eating guns or taking cyanide capsules.

Sadly, someone managed to talk them down and so here we are now, at a time in our history that future historians will look back on and cry that ‘one political party went wholly insane in its hatred and anger towards an American president, elected fair and square.’

They also most likely will tell their readers and their students that somehow, we dodged a bullet in that a ‘very determined coup, one conducted by the higher-ups and the muckety-mucks in the Justice Department, the Obama White House, the various intelligence agencies and the like almost succeeded.’  The coup was not conducted by the rank-and-file attorneys and agents but by the heads of the departments, agencies, and by the president, himself, Mr. Obama.

President Trump was indeed cleared and then, the Democrats in the House such as Jerry Nadler and Adam Schiff and that putz of putzes, Eric Swalwell still continue trying to drag the president down.  Sometimes, one does wish that President Trump was indeed the fascist dictator they claim he is because it would be fun to see them in orange jumpsuits awaiting execution for treason.

Thanks for joining me today, my friends, we will continue tomorrow with more.  God bless and stay strong, we still have a long, long ways to go. Ikh vel dir zehn margn!

Tony Banks of Genesis fame decided to form a band of his own having seen how well Mike Rutherford was doing with Mike + the Mechanics.  He formed Bankstatement and the first album’s name was “Bankstatement,” which came out on August 19, 1989.  Besides the keyboardist, the band featured Steve Hillage (guitars), Alistair Gordon and Jayney Klimek (vocals), Geoff Dugmore (drums), Pino Palladino (bass), and other musicians of note.  Fans and critics alike loved it which is why we urge everyone to seek this one out, give it a good listen, and add it to your collection.  You will enjoy it.

Santana released their next album, “Abraxas,” on September 23, 1970, the album that would push them over the top as a band as well as its namesake as both the leader of an ever-evolving cast of musicians into the next century.  This album delivered two massive hits, “Oyé Como Va,” and “Black Magic Woman,” two massive hits that remain popular to this day.  The lineup featured Greg Rolie (lead vocals/keyboards), David Brown (bass), Michael Shrieve (drums), Michael Carabello (congas/percussion), and Jose “Chepito” Areas (timbales/congas/percussion) along with some additional personnel to add flavor to the overall sound.  We encourage everyone to seek out this amazing album and add it to your ever-growing collection.  You will be glad you did.

The Small Faces record company released a massive box set on February 06, 2013, “Here Comes the Nice” Box Set.  This features eight discs containing so much unreleased, rare, and even some live performances that for diehard fans this is like finding the Rosetta stone in the heart of the Egyptian desert.  If you have yet to get in on the ground floor with this unsung but highly inspirational and crazed British rock band that spawned so many superb musicians, well, this is how you go about it so why not go about it now by seeking it out at your favorite online or brick-and-mortar music haunt.  You will be glad you did.

Just the Facts: now that Gavin Newsom is our governor, Californians might soon begin wishing Jerry “Moonbeam” Brown was back in the gubernatorial mansion

I refer to Governor Newsom as “The Smiler” because our new chief executive for the state always has this mirthless leer plastered across his face, as though it has been frozen in this “Joker-like grin” of Batman fame. Yet, if you look at his eyes, there is no jollity behind this smile; no, this is the leer of someone who is incredibly angry and who intends to do dreadful things to the people he designates deserve comeuppance through tax, environmental, and immigration policies.

WINTER SESSION 2019

BLOG POST #2,993 AT THE AICP-END

664 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2020

Gavin Newsom- aka “The Smiler”- is now our governor

Century City, CA, 01-10-2019 Thursday: Well, Gavin Newsom now is the governor of the great state of California (correction: the ONCE-great state of California) and now has the power to force a far-left, radical agenda down the throats of the citizenry.  I fear what he seeks to do is going to make us wish for old “Chrome Dome,” the vulture-like-looking former governor, Jerry “Moonbeam” Brown, to come back and save us from what “The Smiler” seeks to do to us.

Once Lt. Gov. Newsom and now Governor Newsom intends to do is to make California a break-away state with the intention of becoming an independent nation.  At one point in our history, the nation fought a violent and bloody civil war over states seeking to secede whereas now, the federal government acts powerless in the face of ongoing frequent rebukes West-and-East Coast states seem to believe they can get away with doing.

In short, what I am saying about the ‘boy wonder governor’ is that I find him to be someone who clearly could be unbalanced, someone with an agenda so negative that it will set in motion further waves of Californians abandoning the state to locate somewhere else where government is sane and the people welcoming.

Once Donald Trump became president, Governor Newsom and his predecessor declared war on the federal government and aided by then-and-now state Attorney-General Xavier Becerra have hurled one lawsuit after another at the administration seeking to force distance between it and the Golden State at almost every turn.

Under their overseeing, California has become a sanctuary state, one in which, if state law enforcement officers cooperate with ICE, they can go to prison.  However, law enforcement within the state can cooperate with the FBI, the ATF, and the DHS but when it comes to actually cooperating with ICE, then it’s a no-go, which is why we have so much crime committed by illegal aliens here.

As we all know, illegal aliens flock to California because state law shields them from law enforcement.  We know one of the nominees in the First Annual Lavrentiy Beria Award, Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf warned criminal illegal aliens living within that soon-to-be Raider-less city to flee ahead of impending ICE raids.  Who knows?  Perhaps the man who murdered Newman, California Police Cpl. Ronil Singh was a resident of that once-fine city?  We shall see.

Ask law enforcement wherever one goes and one understands that police chiefs and sheriffs across the state, as well as law enforcement officers are not thrilled by the law that prohibits them from cooperating with Immigration and Customs Enforcement.  Crime caused by these noncitizen felons continues to skyrocket, NO matter what left-wing media says.

As if this were not bad enough, in his inaugural address, Governor Newsom invited still more illegals to flood the state through his blatant offers of protection as well as free health care provided at cost by the taxpayers.  We already strain beneath the weight of taxes now and every time the Democrats put another tax measure on the ballot, thanks to the numbers of illegals in the voter base, they pass without question.

The idea that a state already hobbled by tax rates, the cost of living, energy costs, and education expenses can pay still more money so we can care for illegal aliens is beyond me, especially when “The Smiler” said this in Monday night’s inaugural address:

“We face serious challenges—some that have been deferred too long.  We face a gulf between the rich and everyone else—and it’s not just inequality of wealth, it’s inequality of opportunity.”  – Gavin Newsom, First Inaugural Address, 7-January-2019.

The reason there is a gulf between the rich and the poor is because Democratic policies favor crony capitalism and high taxes so if one does not reside somewhere near the top and has friends in government, one will go down rather than find avenues with which to go up- it is what it is.

Proof of this is what I wrote about already: take, for instance, California High-Speed Rail.  This money pit is a boondoggle, one that is NEVER going to be built because they truly do not want to do it as the longer it exists and every politician and family member involved in construction has their beaks in it like Mafia bosses.

“I don’t want a lot,” says the Mob boss, “just let me stick my beak into it and siphon off a little bit.”

California taxpayers had no idea what they were voting for when they voted in what seemed to be a reasonable measure that would allow the state to pursue this cash cow of liberal Democrats and associated RINO hacks.

The costs have skyrocketed and extraordinary little track has been laid down yet people and businesses in the potential path of the train have had their lives put on hold.

They have had to do this through being unable to improve or sell their land as how can one drop in improvements if they are going to have to sell their properties at a loss to the California HSR Authority?  Likewise, who will buy a property that ten years from now may end up with a bit of railroad track through it?

Friends, “The Smiler” has no clue as to how he is going to pay for free health care for all illegal aliens no more than he has a clue as to how he is going to create a statewide health care plan meant to rival Obamacare.  Whatever this charlatan does is going to be a disaster and regular folks are going to bear the brunt of the damage.

Thanks for joining me today; we will pick up tomorrow with more of the same.

Peter Frampton released his second solo effort, “Frampton’s Camel” on October 20, 1973.  The band now featured Frampton (guitars/keyboards/lead vocals), Mick Gallagher (keyboards/vocals), Rick Wills (bass), John Siomos (drums and percussion) along with help from guitarist Frank Carrillo.  The guitarist was now stepping up the pace performing more rock-oriented tunes but with his own unique melodic signatures and details that enthrall the listener more so than his previous effort.  We hope you will search out this album wherever you can find it and add it to your growing collection of amazing British rock.  We love it as will you.
