  57. 2018 Sunday: In the Florida U.S. Senate race, Democrat Bill Nelson tearfully concedes to outgoing Republican Governor Rick Scott.  Good riddance.   Meanwhile, as firefighters continue battling the Camp Fire, the possibility that rain might come brings sighs of relief.  None of these fires are unnecessary, if only the frigging state of California would manage her forests properly instead of making unfair demands on PG&E to go to renewable sources by 2025 and would stop pouring every extra cent into CalPERS and into the farce of California High-Speed Rail, one of the greatest self-enrichment schemes for both the Democratic Party and their backers in Beijing.[viii]
  58. 2019 Monday: On this date, Chinese authorities on the mainland in conjunction with law enforcement in Hong Kong are working hard to bring the illegal protests to an end.  Currently, the authorities have surrounded a university in the former British crown colony and are trying to arrest every rioter seeking to escape their dragnet.  Meanwhile, Mayor Pete Buttigieg[ix] of South Bend, Indiana, seeking to win the 2020 nomination of the Democratic Party finds himself leading the polls in Iowa on this date.  Wow.    This, of course, sets off his opponents seeking the nomination and far-left loser Julian Castro heads to the mics to blast Buttigieg.  Elsewhere, Democratic Congressman Eric Swalwell, the first to abandon the race for the 2020 Democratic Party presidential nomination becomes the butt of jokes around the world.  While being interviewed by Chris Matthews on MSNBC, the congressman in mid-sentence is heard to rip a LOUD FART[x] on live TV.  He denies he did it but the evidence is there.
  59. 2020 Wednesday: Although most major news outlets, Democrats, and anti-Trump RINOs have called the election for “Pro-China Joe” Biden and his sidekick, “Kooky Kamala” Harris, Las Vegas bookmakers have not.  Meanwhile, votes for President Donald J. Trump continue turning up in various battleground states but in Michigan, a setback occurred when county election workers first refused to certify the elections in the Detroit area until they came under verbal assault and threatened physical assault.  They quickly certified the results and sent them up the ladder to the Michigan secretary of state.  Wow.  Elsewhere, the House GOP leaders vote to retain the same officers in the lower chamber of Congress while initial reports say the Dems might keep current House Speaker Nancy “Mumbles” Pelosi in her position.  How this can be true after they lost beaucoup seats after being promised of the MASSIVE VICTORIES to come is beyond us.  However, what is also beyond us is the fact that the GOP knocked out one Democrat House incumbent after another and we are still to believe that President Donald J. Trump lost his re-election bid?  Say what?
  60. 2020 Wednesday A: The Department of Justice charges seven people for committing fraud on the U.S. government by scamming the Paycheck Protection Program out of $16 million.  Meanwhile, President Donald J. Trump fires Christopher Krebs, a Trump appointee to head the elections security division at the Department of Homeland Security after he proclaimed, ‘NO election shenanigans have occurred in the 2020 Presidential Election.’  Elsewhere, CNN’s famed foreign correspondent, the highly biased Christine Amanpour expressed regret for having used the name of “President Donald J. Trump and his followers” in connection with Kristallnacht.”  That’s nice, Ms. Amanpour, you anti-Semitic bigot.   Finally, we learn that the Durham Probe into the Democrats, the Russians, the Chi-Coms, and the Obama administration continues.  IF Trump should lose, so what?  Speaking of President Donald J. Trump, he is doing his best to withdraw 25,000 American troops from the Middle East before the year’s end.
  61. 2020 Wednesday B: Pfizer- not to be outdone by Moderna- says their COVID-19 vaccine is 95-percent or more effective.  However, given billions of dollars by the U.S. government to develop the vaccine in record time to provide 100 million doses of the vaccine by year’s end has now reneged and says it will only provide 20 million doses while sending the other 80 million doses abroad.  Good Lord!  WTF is wrong with American companies?  Oh, wait, Pfizer donated BIG BUCKS to the campaign of “Pro-China Joe” Biden and “Kooky Kamala” Harris.  Go figure.
  62. 2020 Wednesday C: Back to the Chi-Coms and their Wuhan Virus pandemic, here are the latest stats: 56,024,130 confirmed cases, UP by 690,756 cases, 1,345,639 confirmed deaths, UP by 13,249 deaths, and 35,969,240 confirmed recoveries, UP by 356,120 recoveries.  Here are the numbers for the United States: 11,546,233 confirmed cases, UP by 177,590 new cases, 253,423 confirmed deaths, UP by 2,100 new deaths, and 6,095,958 confirmed recoveries, UP by 58,978 new recoveries.  (The number of recoveries would be even greater if Blue State governors would report them but alas, we know they won’t- corrupt POSs).  Now that Mo is living in Israel, here are the numbers for that nation: 326,200 confirmed cases, 2,738 confirmed deaths, and 315,314 confirmed recoveries.
  63. 2020 Wednesday D: Next, in the three states in which, the world-famous American Institute of Culinary Politics-The Elemental News of the Day employs chef-authors, California, Hawaii, and Washington, here are the stats, Golden State first: 1,058,125 confirmed cases, 18,364 confirmed deaths, but as is the norm, NO mention of confirmed recoveries.  Next, here are the stats for the Aloha State: 16,755 confirmed cases, 222 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION OF confirmed recoveries anymore- what is up with YOU, Gov. Ige, you Democrat hack.  Finally, in the Ever-Red, uh, we mean, the Evergreen State, here are the stats: 140,942 confirmed cases, 2,686 confirmed deaths, but like California, the palooka-faced governor, Jay Inslee, won’t share the number of confirmed recoveries.  Shame on these flipping Democrats.  Let’s take a look at one more state, Virginia, the home of Democratic corruption, elected officials who dress in blackface or who have committed sexual assaults: 208,833 confirmed number of cases, 3,860 confirmed deaths, and NO mention of confirmed number of recoveries- thank you, Governor Ralph “KKK” Northam for concealing the number of recoveries- yet another left-wing liberal POS politician.
  64. 2020 Wednesday E: Here are today’s Stock Market closes: DOW Jones Industrial Average: 29,438.42, DOWN 344.93 points (-1.16%).  Next, the NASDAQ: 11,801.60, DOWN 97.74 points (-0.82%).  Finally, here are the stats for the S&P 500: 3,567.79, DOWN 41.74 points (-1.16%).  The price of GOLD is $1,871.00 per troy oz., -2.90 (-0.15%) while the price of SILVER is $24.40 per troy ounce, -0.53 (-0.22%).  The price of PLATINUM is $948.10 per troy oz, -2.80 (-0.29%) while the price of COPPER is $3.20 per pound, -0.002 (-0.06%).  The price of PALLADIUM is $2,354.00 per troy oz, +27.50 (+1.18%).  The price of Light Sweet Crude Oil is $41.62 per barrel, -0.20 (-0.48%).  Currently, one-dollar U.S. = 6.56 Chi-Com yuan.   Meanwhile, one-dollar U.S. = 0.84 euros and in Mexican pesos equals 20.30.
  65. 2020 Wednesday F: Here are the numbers for tonight’s Super Lotto #3509 with a jackpot of $7 million at stake: 01, 02, 16, 27, 32, and Mega 18.  One person had FIVE numbers but no Mega for a prize of $27,123.  Next, here are the numbers for the Powerball Draw #795 with a jackpot of $179 million: 04, 05, 17, 43, 52, and Powerball 05.  The highest winner was one person who had FOUR numbers plus the Powerball for a prize of $36,296.
  66. 2020 Wednesday G: Running unopposed for another term as speaker of the House, Nancy “Mumbles” Pelosi wins to the shock of many.  It demonstrates how chicken-s**t the Democrats in the House are that they are afraid of challenging the 80-year-old, mostly senile, incoherent speaker seeing as how she has produced the slimmest ‘majority’ in the history of the U.S. House of Representatives losing 12 incumbent seats and gaining NONE.  Democrats, boot her out NOW!

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

After floundering about for a while, Lou Gramm discovered- like Mick Jones- that catching lightning twice can be a challenging thing.  Both of them needed one another but after wasting a good amount of time on solo projects and reincarnations of Foreigner, they reunited and released “Mr. Moonlight” on October 31, 1994.  Joining them were Bruce Turgon (bass/backing vocals), Jeff Jacobs (keyboards/backing vocals), Mark Schulman (drums/backing vocals), and a load of other musicians to round out the sound.  Sadly, lightning did not hit them twice and on the charts, this one came in at #136, not enough to bring in much money to keep the band living in the style they once were used to living.  Still, like anything else, it has its moments and one can discern flashes of the OLD GREATNESS so we encourage everyone to investigate for themselves.  You will be glad you did.

FOOTNOTES:

[i] We promoted the music of Blue Cheer- one of the wildest acid rock bands of all time, beginning on Sunday, 25-November-2012 through Wednesday, 12-December-2012.  We hope you seek this famed band out and add them to your collection; you will be glad you did.

[ii] We began promoting the music of this famed psychedelic band- Strawberry Alarm Clock- beginning on Tuesday, 03-April-2012 through Saturday, 08-April-2012. Please check them out- you will enjoy them.

[iii] We began promoting the music of Santana on Tuesday, 28-August-2012 through Tuesday, 23-October-2012.  We hope you will seek the music of this famed man and his band out wherever you can find them.

[iv] We hope to promote the music of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, as well as of each member’s solo careers along with Crazy Horse within the next 5-7 years.  Please remain vigilant for when we do.

[v] It does not require a genius to understand that every Republican president since Ronald Reagan has been the target of outraged Democrats who seek to overthrow the legal system and impeach every GOP president.  Time for this bulls**t to end.

[vi] These illegal protests in Hong Kong continue into 2019 and it is clear that they are out of control and need to be shut down.  Hong Kong is Chinese territory and it should be clear to all that they have been quite patient in their response while awaiting the perpetrators to meet them halfway.

[vii] We are not sure when AC/DC will be in the works but you bet they will be at some point, possibly in 2027-2028.

[viii] That’s right- we said it: the Chi-Coms provide many of the engineers involved in the project as well as lesser workers.  This is a criminal scam and everyone knows it.

[ix] Mayor Pete is doing great with the Bath House vote but cannot attract black voters to his cause (and why would they join him?- editor’s note 2019).  We lovingly refer to Mayor Pete as “Little Queenie.”

[x] Chris Matthews claims it was the sound of a coffee mug being scraped across the desk.  You be the judge: <https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aKLn-qjlM_Y >

  55. 2019: The Islamic Republic of Iran- the world’s number one terrorist state- announces it will no longer obey the restrictions of the multilateral nuclear deal signed in 2015.
  56. 2020 Friday: More and more information continues coming to light that demonstrates the coup attempt to remove President Donald J. Trump was just: a FAILED coup.  Millions of Americans demand that the participants in this endeavor face justice for the crime of treason.  Many of these rats are getting nervous already and who knows?  Barack Hussein Obama might find himself in the hot seat.
  57. 2020 Friday A: Meanwhile, in the world of the Kung Flu- the Chinese Virus, COVID-19, confirmed cases globally are 3,938,828; confirmed deaths are 274,655, and confirmed recoveries are 1,319,306 which is extremely good.  In the United States, we have 1,317,175 confirmed cases, 78,198 confirmed deaths, and 182,305 confirmed recoveries which most likely would be far higher if liberal states reported them.  California claims 63,698 confirmed cases and 2,711 confirmed deaths (with no info on confirmed recoveries).  Hawaii claims 629 confirmed cases, 17 deaths but 566 confirmed recoveries.  Meanwhile, Washington state notes 16,388 confirmed cases and 905 confirmed deaths but no notation as to the confirmed recoveries.  It is interesting to note that New York Governor Andrew Cuomo caused more than 4,000 deaths in nursing homes statewide by forcing them to house COVID-19 positive patients with rest home patients.  He will face justice himself for this outrage.
  58. 2020 Friday B: Due to China’s ‘gift to the world,’ COVID-19, aka the Wuhan Virus Crisis, 20.5 million U.S. jobs were lost in the month of April alone, driving unemployment to nearly 15-percent, a number not seen since the days of the Great Depression.  Communist China must pay for this outrage and it’s high time the United States begins pushing for a resumption of the Two-China Policy by demanding Taiwan be returned to the United Nations as a FULL member with its original seat on the Security Council.

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

#PF001.1s The Wall #19 04-20-2020 (400)

Perhaps one of the most famous albums of its time, “The Wall,” by Pink Floyd came out on November 30, 1979.  A double LP concept album about a jaded rock-and-roll star, this album captivated the world but also began showing increasing stress between the members due to the constant cycle of touring-recording-touring-and-recording that drives most bands into the loony bin of history.  Roger Waters was growing tired with Rick Wright’s ‘lack of contributions’ to the songwriting and the friction grew to a boiling point that would cause the former to fire the latter.  Ah, well, things would be made right in a few years.  We hope you will seek this album out and consider adding it to your collection as it is as glorious now as it was 41 years or so ago.  Please, seek it out and enjoy as the title tune is one of the most memorable of all time.

JTF: One might think that with Nancy Pelosi’s ongoing mental meltdown on national TV that Steny Hoyer and James Clyburn would send out the hook and drag her away before she and Schiff drag the entire party down

To make my point, I feel sorry for Nance, the old gal has been ‘rid hard and put away wet’ as the rural equestrians among us might say. She no longer has what it takes to do her job; yet lacks the required brain spark to understand that her time has come and gone and that next year, she will be held to account for losing the House majority a second time.

FALL SESSION 2019

BLOG POST #3,305 AT THE AICP-END

353 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2020

Why is Nancy Pelosi still House speaker?

Century City, CA 90067, 11-18-2019 Monday:   Good morning, folks, I am back for my second and final week of the year and boy, oh, boy, have we seen some strange events last week.  Impeachment inquiry?  Not looking good for the Democrats and one can only wonder what is wrong with them?  Pittsburgh Steelers and the Cleveland Browns going to town on one another with eight seconds left on the clock- eight flipping seconds, folks- wow.  We witnessed criminal actions on Thursday Night Football[i] and NO one is going to jail.

Back to impeachment, I look at the chronic liar, Adam Schiff, I look at Nancy Pelosi and my heart goes out to the woman.  I do not know about you but if you have ever cared for a loved one afflicted by Alzheimer’s disease, you know the vacant stare, the hollow eyes, and the stumbling about searching for words, it causes the caretaker pain every time the tormented segue from being lost to some sort of lucidity and then back to the ozone zone, it is soul-crushing for everyone concerned.

This is what I see when I see Nancy Pelosi on my television screen, standing before the mics, mumbling gibberish, practically slobbering, making little to no sense.  ‘Oh, the president did this and he did that, he’s a bad man, an extremely bad man (yet, we must pray for him), how sad it is we must impeach him…oh, where the heck was I?” and it’s back to la-la land and not the Hollywood smash movie, REAL la-la land.

We can only ponder WHY Steny Hoyer has not trotted out the hook and yanked her offstage and into the padded wagon.  There, the handlers would sedate her, tell her ‘everything is okay, we’ve gotten that horrible, orange-haired man out of the White House.’  Upon hearing that, her face would alight and she would be content to sit in her rocker, covered with a shawl, eating a bowl of chicken noodle soup, and watching reruns of “Dukes of Hazard” (oh, wait, that has a Confederate flag in it) or possibly “Matlock.”

Well, perhaps in the soon-to-be-former speaker’s case, it could be “Perry Mason,” as, after all, what senile old fogey doesn’t love Raymond Burr?   As gay as they come, Mr. Burr had that sort of charisma that sucked in people of Pelosi’s generation, perhaps that is why many of the aged dirt bags in Congress became lawyers?  That, my friends, is a discussion for another day.  Ah, well, both were great shows for our parents and grandparents. Back to the business at hand:

To make my point, I feel sorry for Nance, the old gal has been ‘rid hard and put away wet’ as the rural equestrians among us might say.  She no longer has what it takes to do her job; yet lacks the required brain spark to understand that her time has come and gone and that next year, she will be held to account for losing the House majority a second time.

IF (and I am somewhat doubtful about this)- IF the (Suicide) Squad still remains- Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, Baby Evita- AOC, and Ayanna Pressley- intact, they might launch the coup of coups against the current Democratic House leadership should any of them remain in office following the nuclear bomb blast that is coming their way in November 2020.

Steny might be able to hold on as might James Clyburn but Pelosi, if she somehow is able to retain her seat and not go down to a far-far-far-left primary challenger (or a Republican), I cannot see how she will be able to even remain in the minority when her party stands to lose 40-60 seats.

Out here in the world, people are angry.  I have never seen them as angry as I see them now.  Here in the City of Departed Angels, I come across ALL manner of people because I work in the upscale heart of the city where I am an extremely successful restauranteur.  I see wealthy folks in the dining room, I see middle class diners, I see tourists from across the country- and around the world, and in the kitchen and on the floor, we have people farther down the economic ladder.

However, everyone working for me has experienced upward mobility.  Many have bought new cars, their families have bought new homes, moved into nicer apartments, some like the bartenders and top servers live in some pretty nice condos, thanks to the cash tips coming their way (we do our best not to claim much of them as other foodservice operations do- sssh, you didn’t hear that from me).  Most of these working people and many of our guests and visitors are or were Democrats like I used to be a Green.

People tell me, ‘Trump can be pretty rough.  However, I have more money in my pocket, my kids have nicer clothes, my spouse is happy, we have a new car, maybe a second one, why in the name of all that’s Holy would we vote for someone who wants to remove or retard our economic progress and put us back to where we were…if not into a worse place?’

This is the rub, people, most Americans are doing better, way better, and when they hear some of these locoweeds talking about ‘socialism’ and ‘rich people’ and ‘social justice,’ they understand what that means: far fewer liberties, higher taxes, and illegal aliens swamping our neighborhoods, driving down the quality of our schools, increasing crime rates, and more and more homeless people roaming the streets.  They don’t flipping want this, any of this, they like what we have now.

So, we are in the midst of the ‘impeachment inquiry,’ being led by that bug-eyed cesspool troll, Adam Schiff- rhymes with bitch- and his boss, the mentally decrepit, senile, doddering old hag, Nancy Pelosi, but we’ve already touched on her.

These people know what’s best for me and my family?  For you and yours?  For everyone around you, people you know, love, want to see do better in life than they were prior to Donald J. Trump?  Come on, folks, come on, man, (to steal a line from another old fogie, Joe Biden), that’s crazy.  NO one wants the leftists are peddling and remember: I used to be a Green.

Folks join me back here tomorrow and we will continue our week together.  Thanksgiving is coming soon.  Going to be exciting.

Colin Blunstone (vocals/guitars) released his next solo album, the less-than-popular but genuinely good album, “Never Even Thought,” on June 15, 1978.  For this celebrated English vocalist, not all of his albums were released in the United States but this one was on Elton John’s Rocket Label.  As always, the song choices fit his voice and the music is a delight to hear.  We hope you will seek this one out at Amazon.com and give it a listen as we think if you are a fan of his parent band- as well as his former bandmates such as Rod Argent- you will enjoy it.  Please, check it out now.  We thank you.

[i] This violent football game took place on November 14, 2019 on Thursday Night Football.  The Browns beat the Steelers for the first time in nine tries and in the final eight seconds, violence broke out as Steelers QB Mason Rudolph was sacked yet again in what should have been the final play of the game.  It is clear that he must have been upset because the Steelers were playing like an expansion team rather than a storied franchise.  Yes, they were missing key players but they gave up early on and failed to protect their quarterback.  The Browns were playing like the Cincinnati Bengals, acting like thugs when there was no call to play that way.

[ii] Once again, a Democratic president initiates a war that would cost more than 57,000 U.S. lives and millions of Vietnamese.

[iii] It is important to note that deceased FBI Director Hoover was a notorious racist as well as a closet homosexual.  He had it out for Dr. King.

[iv] It is interesting to note that Democrats pursue every Republican president and have since the days of Richard M. Nixon.  Nixon truly did not deserve to be driven from office and he should not have allowed the Democrats to drive him out as since that time, they attempt to overturn every election they fail to win.

[v] The Chinese have the right to run Hong Kong as they see fit.

[vi] We call AOC’s girl group the ‘suicide squad’ because they crazy women are going to kill their political careers.  Ilhan Omar is a racist bigot who hates Jews, Rashida Tlaib is an angry, hostile skank, and AOC is as commie as they come.  If Pressley were smart, she would disassociate herself from these corrupt skanks and has by signing onto Elizabeth Warren’s campaign instead of going full-on Bernie like the others.

Just the Facts: Donald Trump demonstrates repeatedly his love for the state of Israel and for the Jewish people, much to the anger of his enemies

I am always appalled when I watch the chaos occurring along the border between Israel and the Gaza Strip as it makes no sense. Imagine if the Palestinians turned their efforts towards bettering their own lot in life, if they gave up their violent and belligerent ways and actually worked on behalf of their own people. Imagine if they gave up teaching generation after generation how the Jews ‘robbed them of their land?’ We might enter a new era of peace.

SPRING SESSION 2019

BLOG POST #3,111 AT THE AICP-END

546 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2020

Conservative Americans are not Antisemitic; no, liberal Democrats are

Bakersfield, CA, 05-08-2019 Wednesday:  I find it amazing how liberals in this country seem to despise the state of Israel and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as much as they hate President Donald J. Trump and the nation he represents.  The Democrats are always angry, they hate freedom, they detest liberty, and they despise the only democratic state in the entire Middle East, our number one ally, Israel.

The thing that blows my mind is the divisions among Judaism.  In this country, most Jews are liberals and most of them seemingly hate Israel.  They hate it so much that if the Palestinians overran it yesterday, they would blame the Jews and Donald Trump for their very own demise instead of recognizing the true enemy, militant Islam.

In this country, the Democratic Party appears to be the home of anti-Semitism, a place where all haters of modern-day Israel have a place to rest their heads at night, a place from which, they can sling one barbed insult after another and not concern themselves that their colleagues might think they have gone one insult too far and ask them to leave.

Right now, Israel is under assault once again by Hamas and the Palestinian loonies in the Gaza Strip.  The people there are angry at their sad lot in life but their neighbor, Israel, is not to blame for their misery but their Hamas leadership.

Instead of working to make Gaza a better place and maybe earn some respect in the civilized world, the Palestinians spend all their resources on acquiring rockets and other weaponry so they can continue waging war against the people they consider interlopers and thieves of their land.

One would think that after seven decades, cooler minds might prevail among the Palestinian people, that perhaps, it might be nice if they would direct their resources to improving their lot in life instead of working to engineer the downfall of a state that basically gives them everything they require for survival.

Israel welcomes all sick and ill Palestinians.  It treats them without question in its hospitals and clinics.  Israel sends the Palestinians their power, their potable water, and their fuel and yet the people of Gaza continue being a pain in the asses of their benefactors.  It makes no sense.

I am glad that President Trump moved the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem and out of Tel Aviv (although I fear if a Democrat becomes president, he or she will commit the insult of insults and move it back) just as I am glad that Mr. Trump recognized the Golan Heights as part of Israel.

In doing each of these things, Mr. Trump- the one the Democrats repeatedly label an Anti-Semite, which is a laugh- continues to work on behalf of the people of Israel, guaranteeing them their protection from enemies all around.

I am also glad that the Trump administration has thrown out the term, “two-state solution” because there will never be ‘two states lying side by side in peace, Palestine and Israel, it simply is not going to happen because the Palestinians do not want peace- they want revenge.

What the Palestinian people and their Hamas overlords desire more than anything is the complete destruction of Israel, even though Israel provides the Gaza Strip with much of its resources.  Like the scorpion atop the back of the frog swimming across the river, the scorpion cannot resist stinging his companion, plunging both to the bottom of the swirling waters.  It is in their blood, it is what they do.

Likewise, we must keep Iran in check by denying the ‘End Times mullahs’ a land bridge from their detestable country through Iraq, Syria, and Lebanon to the Mediterranean Sea.  We cannot have that belligerent and provocative power anywhere near Israel and Western Civilization because they mean none of us well.  If anything, we must keep them isolated, angry, and aloof, which is why it’s a good thing that President Trump sent an aircraft carrier strike force into the Persian Gulf.

Democrats, stop calling conservative and Constitution-revering Americans ‘Anti-Semites,’ as you are good at slandering your enemies with what YOU are, not what THEY are.  We are not Anti-Semites; no, we respect the people of Israel and will continue supporting their defense.  We will push back on all Jew-haters (like AOC, Rashida Tlaib, and Ilhan Omar) and enemies of Israel, including YOU.

Thanks for joining me today; we will continue with more tomorrow.

Steve Hackett (guitars/bass/harmonica/vocals) went into the studio with his collaborators Nick Magnus (keyboards), and John Hackett (keyboards/flutes) to record his first classical album. “Bay of Kings” came out on October 15, 1983.  For those who love classical guitar, this is an album everyone should seek out because this is one multi-talented musician, a true virtuoso and with his fellow musicians, they deliver a stunning effort everyone must check out so why not do it now.  Please, visit whatever site you do for nothing but the best in music.

The same lineup that made the James Gang’s previous album returned to the studio and delivered another major effort, “Passin’ Thru” (October 15, 1972).  The lineup featured Jim Fox (drums/keyboards/vocals and guitars), Dale Peters (bass/guitars/keyboards/vocals and percussion), Roy Kenner (vocals/percussion), and Domenic Troiano (guitars/vocals although he would leave following this album to join the Guess Who).  Although there was no resilient material and the songs were somewhat less than the previous effort, “Straight-Shooter,” it managed to reach #72 on the Billboard Album Charts so what the heck- seek it out and add it to your collection- you will be glad you did.

Jeff Beck released his next album, his highest debuting effort in his 45-year career on April 07, 2010, “Emotion and Commotion.”  This time, he added vocalists to the mix and the resulting effort is phenomenal, one that every fan of the band must add to the collection.  Of the three great British guitarists, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, and Jimmy Page- the first two work constantly whereas the third- and perhaps most talented- does not.  We hope you will check out this superlative effort and add it to your collection.

Just the Facts: even if Bob Mueller finds a little tidbit connecting Trump with the Russkies, there is little doubt that the Democrats or the RINOS can keep him from winning a second term

In bringing my week to its conclusion, let me say that fools such as Jim Acosta, erstwhile CNN White House reporter who received the boot earlier in the week for being a pain in the ass only reinforces the support we have for President Trump. As I have said on other occasions, there was a time when the thought of supporting Mr. Trump to become president after some of the things he said and did would be extremely difficult.

FALL SESSION 2018

BLOG POST #2,940 AT THE AICP-END

717 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2020

The opposition to President Trump is what keeps Republicans firmly lodged in his camp

Kula, HI, 11-18-2018 Sunday:  Well, dear friends, this is the final day of the year for me, I won’t be back until sometime in the middle of 2019, by which time we will be firmly mired in the 2020 race for the White House.  The Democrats will be pounding one another like there’s no tomorrow, using fists, cudgels, spit, ‘political dirt,’ it is going to be uglier than an overflowing crapper in Tonga town.  We will learn things about each of the Democrats slinging mud at one another that we might have only dreamed at and then when they are close to choosing their nominee in mid-2020, they will work long and hard to bury as much of it as possible so that the Republicans and President Trump do not give them both barrels…in the face.

The thing many speculate on is whether someone on the Republican side will challenge President Trump by mounting a primary campaign.  I think everyone expects the loser, Jeff Flake to try to knock Trump out of another term just as some like me believe that former Ohio Governor and Trump-hater extraordinaire John Kasich will go after the target of his vile.

Who knows?  Maybe former Governor Kasich and former Senator Flake will join forces and put themselves forward as the fix to what ails America?  Maybe they will bill themselves as two moderate, Constitution-loving defenders of mom, coconut cream pie, lomilomi salmon, poi, and two scoops of rice for every meal?  Maybe they will attempt to defeat President Trump and his running mate, Vice President Mike Pence?

I think if either of these two goofballs seeks to displace President Trump, they will learn just what the REST of America thinks of them and it won’t be good.  It will be the kind of lesson that two, self-absorbed lolos never suspected, never had a clue that people would feel about them.  I mean, who would vote for these two losers?

Voting for either one or for both would be akin to casting one’s vote for Bob Dole, for Mitt Romney, or the old anti-Trump warhorse, John McCain.  You do not do it because you believe they can win; no, you do it out of party loyalty even though you know in your heart they are going to go down to ugly, smoking defeat, like a wipeout off Hookipa Park or going off course in the Kalohi Channel and heading out to the trackless sea.

I am curious as to whether soon-to-be-former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley is going to attempt to primary President Trump.  Although when the President and she announced she would be stepping down at the end of the year following the elections she said she would be working to help HIM win reelection, I fear she might try to displace him.

The siren’s call of seeking higher office has to infect everyone who has been close to power as each potential candidate sees in him or herself the potential to do what others have promised but been unable to do.  I am sure she believes that where Hillary Clinton failed to become the first female president because of her shortcomings that SHE could.

As popular as she is, if she attempts to primary President Trump in 2019, I think she will damage whatever goodwill the American people have for her.  She will show herself to be as crass as any other puffed-up wannabe politician, in the same mold as the oblivious Jeff Flake, the wily but unpopular Bob Corker, and the blathering idiot, John Kasich.  If she tries to beat Trump for the nomination, whatever political capital; she has amassed will vanish.

I think unless something major happens to Donald Trump, there is no way he will fail to win reelection.  Even if Bob Mueller finds some little tidbit connecting the commander-in-chief to the Russians, I doubt it will be enough to displace a president doing a bang-up job of fixing what ails America.

We know the Democrats are going to throw up all manner of roadblocks just as we know the fake news media will continue going after the President at every opportunity.  The fact that these people HATE the President with ever fiber of their being is not lost on us, we, the American people, see it, we smell it, and we hear it, and we despise you back with double the intensity.

However, having only a choice between him or the battle axe back in 2016, the choice was clear and I cast my vote and since he assumed office, he has done so much all the while hampered by the snarling snapping critters leaping up at his knees and ankles.  It is they who continue keeping our support up, it is they who will cause millions of Americans NOT to vote for Democrats, and it is they who will keep us firmly lodged in the GOP camp.

Will they learn their lessons?  I think it is highly doubtful.  It is what it is.  Have wonderful holidays, stay safe, and remember, we are in this together.  I love you, look forward to seeing you next year (God willing), and cannot wait to get back in the fray.

Aloha, God bless, and keep the lanterns blazing.  Gonna be a good two years for Republicans.

The Doors released their next effort, “L.A. Woman,” on April 19, 1971, an album that would prove to be the final studio effort by the quartet.  Although this album preceded what was intended to be a lengthy break so Jim Morrison could get his act together and the band could take time off, following its conclusion, the vocalist went to Paris where three months later, his longtime girlfriend found him dead in the bathtub, the victim of a heroin overdose.  This album is superb, contains some of their best music to date and is an effort everyone must own, whether longtime or brand-new fans. Please, go to Amazon.com by using our link so you can pick the CD up in the format, the condition, and the price that is right for YOU—you will thank us for sending you there.
