Biden with the Presidential Medal of Freedom.  Congratulations, Joe!  He also ends the ‘wet feet, dry feet’ policy regarding Cubans who make it to our shores and receive citizenship.  He is trying to patch relations with the communists in Havana.  Elsewhere, the NFL franchise San Diego Chargers announces it is going to relocate the team to Los Angeles.
  55. 2018 Friday: President Donald J. Trump’s White House physician, Dr. Ronny Jackson, declared him in “excellent health” after the president received his first checkup at Walter Reed military hospital.  Elsewhere, following the U.S. State Department cautioning U.S. citizens from traveling to Turkey due to arbitrary arrests and extended detentions over nothing, Turkey tells its citizens NOT to visit the United States.  Turkey used to be a decent country whereas now, they are a junior member of the Axis of Evil.

Trump is the villain and never House Speaker Nancy “Mumbles” Pelosi or Senate Minority Leader “Cryin’ Chuck” Schumer who are unwilling to provide funding for the border wall.
  57.  2020 Sunday: In the AFC Division Game, the Kansas City Chiefs blow out the Houston Texans 51-31 after being down 24-0 to move to the AFC Championship Game while in the NFC Division Game, the Green Bay Packers hold off Seattle Seahawks 28-23.  Elsewhere, Nancy Pelosi swears that next week, she is going to send the articles of impeachment to the U.S. Senate.  Meanwhile, the people of Iran take to the streets protesting their government’s shootdown of the Ukrainian airliner.
  58. 2021 Tuesday: President Donald J. Trump and Vice President Mike Pence announce that Trump will not be removed via the 25th Amendment or that he will resign from office before the end of his term.  Next, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy informs GOP House members that President Trump admitted ‘some responsibility’ for the Capitol Hill riots of a week ago tomorrow.  Elsewhere, discredited, and disgraced former FBI Director James Comey- fired by President Trump early in 2017 for being a corrupt POS- says, “Trump should be impeached but keep the TV cameras off him.”  Thank you for your opinion you scumbag.
  59. 2021 Tuesday A: Noted GOP megadonor and Las Vegas casino mogul Sheldon Adelson is dead at age 87.  Elsewhere, we learn that bloviating reported Jim Acosta of CNN is leaving the White House press corps for another gig somewhere else like maybe his own show?  That one won’t last long.  Meanwhile, the U.S. Treasury and State impose counterterrorism sanctions on FIVE individuals linked to the illegitimate Iranian government.
  60. 2021 Tuesday C: The Trump administration is urging various states to expand access to COVID-19 vaccines which some states such as the Empire State- seem to be abusing.  A recent Axios/Ipsos poll says, ‘most Americans eager to get the coronavirus vaccine.’  Next, the Golden State says it’s planning to use sports stadiums as mass vaccination sites.  Meanwhile, South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem says she will sign a bill banning abortions for Downs syndrome babies.  Elsewhere, Michigan says it’s going to charge former GOP Governor Rick Snyder with the Flint, Michigan, water crisis.
  61. 2021 Tuesday D: President Trump was in Alamo, Texas, today celebrating 452 miles of border wall construction with another 300-plus under construction.  He cited statistics of all the illegals stopped from sneaking into the U.S., the numbers of gangbanging thugs captured and deported, and the massive quantities of narcotics stopped from flooding into our country.  A report says, ‘border wall construction is making it easier for illegal aliens to slip into the U.S.’  Uh, okay, should we stop building the wall?  That would make it even easier for illegals to enter the country, right?  How stupid.   Meanwhile, the Trump administration also is trying to firm up the rules for asylum and refugee status before leaving office next week.
  62. 2021 Tuesday E: ‘President-elect Pro-China Joe” Biden’s pick to head the OMB- Neera Tanden- reaped more than $700,000 working for a nonprofit.  Looks like Old Joe is going with financial fraudsters like him and his family.  Uh-oh.  Elsewhere, Congressman Michael Waltz, R-FL, says that ‘Joe Biden must speak out against impeachment’ because it is a divisive issue.  Hot upon its heels, a McLaughlin poll says, ‘most Americans are opposed to another impeachment of the 45th president, especially when he will be leaving office in EIGHT days.  Meanwhile, Jared Kushner is briefing ‘President-elect Pro-China Joe’ Biden’s incoming National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan.  Finally, President Trump recognizes that talk of impeachment is dividing the country and once again urges PEACE for his followers while also saying that BIG TECH is dividing the United States.’
  63. 2021 Tuesday F: Regarding the aftermath of the Capitol Hill Antifa-led riots last week, AT&T becomes yet another big corporation halting donations to ALL GOP congressmen-and-women who voted against the certification of the 2020 Presidential Election.  Next, the CEO of Parler- John Matze- says he’s getting numerous death threats over his stand for First Amendment rights.   Meanwhile, after calling for ALL GOP members to be placed onto the NO-FLY list, House Homeland Security Committee Chairman Bennie G. Thompson, D-Mississippi, continues demanding for GOP Senators Josh Hawley, Missouri, and Ted Cruz, Texas, to be put on the NO-FLY list.  WTF, Congressman Thompson?  Elsewhere, Rep. Pat Fallon, R-TX, says that what is going on is ‘liberals gone wild.’
  64. 2021 Tuesday G: Derek Chauvin- the officer who kept his knee on the neck of George Floyd- will be tried separately from his three fellow Minneapolis Police Department officers.  Next, the FBI says it is investigating more than 170 separate cases related to last week’s Antifa-sponsored riots on Capitol Hill.  At the same time, we learn that a new plot to surround the Capitol has been foiled.   As if this isn’t bad enough, we receive warnings from the FBI of ‘armed protests in all 50 states are coming’ which sounds frightening but we remember back in 2016 post the election and into 2017, there were anti-Trump protests from one end of the country to the other and we do not recall the FBI being terrified back then.  All we want is a little consistency!  Elsewhere, a federal judge halts the execution of the only woman on federal death row.  If Lisa Montgomery does undergo execution, she would become the first female in 67 years to undergo execution at the federal site in Terre Haute, Indiana.
  65. 2021 Tuesday H: The NHL says in playing for its fans, it’s going to lose billions of dollars unless things open up and soon.  Elsewhere, the Catholic League blasts the American Civil Liberties Union’s attacks on President Donald J. 66. 2021 Tuesday I: The U.S. Department of Justice is probing ‘sedition conspiracies’  (they’re acting like this is somehow resembling the Civil War) surrounding the Capitol Hill 2021 storming last Wednesday, saying that somehow it is something we have never seen before.  Folks, we were alive, well, and observant in the 1960s and the 1970s (and way before) and we remember the antiwar protests of those two decades.  We also remember Puerto Rican communists attacking the Capitol, it’s as though modern historians overlook the past, especially when LEFTISTS were the ones blowing things up, murdering police officers, threatening judges, and even members of Congress.  They must wake up and stop with the flipping propaganda already.  Enough is enough.  Meanwhile, Apple CEO calls ‘for accountability’ for the Capitol Hill, Antifa-led riots of last week.  Sadly, Walmart announces it’s going to HALT donations to Republicans who stood against the certification of ‘Pro-China Joe’ Biden.  Wow.

  68. 2021 Tuesday K: Next, in the three states in which, the world-famous American Institute of Culinary Politics-the Elemental News of the Day employs chef-bloggers- California, Hawaii, and Washington- here are the stats, California first: 2,785,701 confirmed cases, 30,561 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Next here are the numbers for Hawaii: 25,470 confirmed cases, 309 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Finally, here are the stats for leftist-Marxist-socialist hellhole of Washington: 281,210 confirmed cases, 3,793 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Let us look at one other state: Connecticut: currently, they have 217,047 confirmed cases, 6,449 confirmed deaths, but no mention of confirmed recoveries.  Now that Mo has relocated to Israel, let’s look at the statistics there: 501,073 confirmed cases, 3,704 confirmed deaths, and 425,006 confirmed recoveries.
  69. 2021 Tuesday L:  Here are today’s Stock Market closes: DOW Jones Industrial Average: 31,068.69, UP 60.00 points (+0.19%).  Next, the NASDAQ: 13,072.43, UP 36.00 points (+0.28%).  Finally, here are the stats for the S&P 500: 3,801.19, UP 1.58 points (+0.42%).  The price of GOLD is $1,855.80 per troy oz., +11.60 (+0.63%) while the price of SILVER is $25.66 per troy ounce, +0.225 (+0.88%).  The price of PLATINUM is $1,078.70 per troy oz, +10.90 (+1.02%) while the price of COPPER is $3.64 per pound, +0.03 (+0.83%).  The price of PALLADIUM is $2,376.20 per troy oz, -2.60 (-0.11%).  The price of Light Sweet Crude Oil is $53.33 per barrel, +0.12 (+0.23%).  Currently, one-dollar U.S. = 6.46 Chi-Com yuan.   Meanwhile, one-dollar U.S. = 0.82 euros and in Mexican pesos equals 19.78.
  70. 2021 Tuesday M: Humorous note for the day:  as Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer was crossing the street, hecklers barraged him with invective, calling him “Adolf Hitler.”  Now that’s funnier than s**t.  Meanwhile, U.S. Chamber of Commerce President Thomas Donahue lashes out at President Trump like other losers by trying to say that the president’s words last Wednesday are what set in motion an event- the Capitol Hill riots- that was prearranged to coincide with Antifa members storming the building.  We now know that several Capitol Hill police officers are facing questions as to WHY they pulled barricades aside and waved the angry left-wing mob into the building.  Elsewhere, the manager for actor Chuck Norris says ‘his client was not present at Capitol Hill last week.’  Finally, a ‘civil rights group’ demands Google remove Donald Trump’s YouTube channel.  Wow.
  71. 2021 Tuesday N: Stick around for tonight’s Mega-Millions Draw #1624: 12, 14, 26, 28, 33, and Mega 09.  Out of 527,357 winning tickets, the highest winner was one person who had FIVE numbers but NO Mega for a prize of $926,572.  The winning ticket was sold at La Paz Liquor in Burbank, CA, 91505.

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

The quartet of UFO- Phil Mogg (vocals), Mick Bolton (guitars), Pete Way (bass), and Andy Parker (drums and percussion)- returned to the studio after touring as an opening act and released “UFO 2: Flying” on October 17, 1971.  Once again, the band’s sophomore effort was exceptional and once again did not achieve massive notice around the world even though their tunes were evolving into more unique and powerful songs.  The title track is perhaps the longest song in rock history up to that date and is a joy to behold.  We hope you will seek this album out wherever you shop for nothing but the best in music and consider adding it to your ever-growing collection of rock music.  You will be glad you did…

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

One can never keep a good thing down and no one could keep Foreigner DOWN.  The latest lineup went into the studio and cranked out the next studio album, a two-CD/1 DVD set called “Can’t Slow Down.”  The first CD is all new material, the second is a remake/remix of older tunes, and the third features DVD performances of the band doing what they do best and that is blowing the socks off the listeners.  Here is the lineup for this effort: Mick Jones (guitars), Thom Gimbel (guitars, vocals, keyboards, and horns), Michael Bluestein (keyboards), Jeff Pilson (bass, vocals), Brian Tichy (drums), and Kelly Hansen (vocals) as well as some supporting musicians for both the studio and the live recordings.  Say what you will about bands that refuse to die, any music they release is better than any of the crap younger ears are assaulted by day in and day out.  If you want to change the direction of a young person’s life away from some skank with a single name or some K-Pop crap, or God forbid, Maroon Five, this is the way in which, you can flipping do it.

FOOTNOTES:

[i] Had the Germans not been sidetracked by having to crush a recalcitrant Yugoslavia, which took six weeks, they would have invaded the Soviet Union in April or early May and most likely would have knocked the USSR out of the war.  The only thing that saved the Russians was “General Winter,” what with freezing cold enveloping the Axis troops.

[ii] Although Italian and Romanian troops had warned the Germans of major movement across the Volga River, the Germans relied on faulty intelligence and believed the Russians were spent and would not launch any counteroffensives over the winter.  Boy, were they wrong, the Russians amassed a humongous force and swept over the Axis troops north and south of the city, trapping the German defenders within the city in one of the largest land battles of the war.

[iii] We began offering the musi of Pink Floyd beginning on Monday, 20-April-2020 through Sunday, 12-July-2020.  This included not only the band’s music but also that of all five members- Syd Barrett, Roger Waters, David Gilmour, Rick Wright, and Nicky Mason.

[iv] We offered the music of Queen and of each of its band members beginning on Monday, 14-January-2019 through Monday, 01-April-2019.   Please seek out the music of this incredible British rock band.  We love them and know you will, too.

[v] Vice President Al Gore did everything possible to steal this election from Republican George W. Bush.  Thankfully, the legal system stopped the attempt but this would not stop the Democrats from trying to do it again in 2016 and once they lost that election, spend every waking moment trying to get Donald J. Trump out of office instead of doing the work of the American people.

[vi] Since spinning off from the Soviet Union, the Ukraine has been among the most corrupt nations in the world as what example did they have to emulate?  Now, in 2019, when President Trump wants to know WTF was going on in 2016 with the spying on him by the Hillary Clinton presidential campaign and the Obama-controlled State Department and U.S. Deep State, everyone goes bat crap crazy.  Enough!  It happened and it is time to find out what exactly happened and who exactly was behind it.

[vii] It is important to note that this Islamist POS tried to transform Egypt into an Islamist nation, opposed to Israel, and allied with the Muslim Brotherhood.  It is important to note that one of his biggest supporters on the world stage was our U.S. President Barack Hussein Obama who never met an extremist he didn’t like.

[viii] The important first step, according to sources, is that President Obama sought to enable the Iranians to develop nuclear weapons so it extremely important that when Donald J. Trump won the 2016 Presidential Election that he tore this crap up and threw it into the wastebasket.

[ix] We hope to begin offering Sly and the Family Stone’s discography sometime in 2022.

#TT001.1g The Troggs #7 12-25-2019 (400)

The Troggs took some time off before returning in 1975 with a new studio album, “The Troggs,” (May 12, 1975). Although difficult to find, other places online have it so you can seek it out there just as you can at eBay for around $5.00. Back in the day one could find all of their albums easily available but we hope you will seek it out by visiting Discogs, eBay, RZ Record, or any specialty record shop in your hometown. Great music by one of the best rock-and-roll bands one could ever imagine and that is still alive and kicking today.

JTF: Say what you will about Joe Biden, he is still leading the Democratic pack and will continue being its leader for the foreseeable future- what does that tell you?

Mayor Pete is reaching out to the military folks like U.S. Army eunuch Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, you know, the guys serving in the rear who live the good life while the grunts in the field are fighting hand to hand and eating hot lead. He also seeks the Bath House vote. There, I said it, yeah, I know, sounds homophobic but it’s the truth and our new patrons will keep us up and running.

FALL SESSION 2019

BLOG POST #3,310 AT THE AICP-END

348 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2020

Yes, indeed, I did watch Wednesday night’s Democratic debate. Oh, brother.

Century City, CA 90067, 11-23-2019 Saturday: Well, folks, this past Wednesday night, I arrived home, got out an O’Doul’s, turned on the DVR and watched the Democratic candidates go toe-to-toe and mano a mano against one another in the debate. The octagon was full, there were 10 fortunate candidates vying against one another and only a few of them truly possess the capabilities necessary to move the country forward.

I think everyone was ranked by position. On the left fringe, we saw Sen. Cory Booker from New Jersey, then we saw Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard from Hawaii, and next to her stood Sen. Amy Klobuchar, Minnesota, flanked by Mayor Pete Buttigieg, Indiana, then Sen. Liz Warren, Massachusetts.

In the middle stood former Vice President Joseph R. Biden, next to him was Sen. Bernie Sanders, Vermont, then our homegrown Sen. Kamala Harris, California, then Andrew Yang, and finally Tom Steyer who looked so out of place that I am stunned he even bothered to show up. No one likes or respects the guy yet there he was, Mr. Private Prisons and King Coalmine wealth[i]. Yikes. I would hate to be him.

Now, some of these people are pure loco whereas others come across as somewhat reasonable. Everyone wants to see Trump go down, whether he merely is ejected from office via impeachment or by criminal prosecution followed by a lengthy stint- if not life- in the worst federal prison known to man.

Hmmm, perhaps they can swing a deal with the French and send him off to Devil’s Island? The guy leading that country with mother issues might actually favor a deal like that if it brought the Paris Climate Accord back into being.

The problem with the candidates is that they end up involved in imbroglios with one another because the losers moderating the debacle pit them against one another. Some, like Tulsi, Yang, and the putz Steyer received extraordinarily little attention and mere scraps of time. I am surprised that both Steyer and Yang did not disappear from the stage one by one because the camera focus remained on the “Central Five.”[ii]

I am going to mention something here I think everyone seeking the nomination of the Democratic Party must do. All of them must reach out to a larger constituency instead of playing to the same old same old as they have from the start. Here is how I see things for each of the candidates and you may be surprised by where we end up. Ready? Let’s go:

Congresswoman Gabbard reaches out to the military constituency, to ‘my brothers and sisters in arms’ and ‘how we cannot have any more regime-change wars around the world.’ Bravo, bravo! Loud round of jazz hands for the soon-to-be former congresswoman.

Tom Steyer is following the path of Gov. Jay Inslee[iii]. Remember him? Nope? Well, he is the governor of the great state of Washington who banked everything on climate change. Where is he now? Gone, folks, gone and among the earliest to drop out.

Andrew Yang is seeking the anti-China constituency that wants to beat the Chinese in AI. That is his gigantic thing. Remember, Mr. Yang’s family emanates from Taiwan, which in our view is a province of China. Yang has NO chance whatsoever, even if he gives everyone a thousand bucks per month. Wait. I have not heard him mention that one lately…out the window?

Mayor Pete is reaching out to the military folks like U.S. Army eunuch Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, you know, the guys serving in the rear who live the good life while the grunts in the field are fighting hand to hand and eating hot lead. He also seeks the Bath House vote. There, I said it, yeah, I know, sounds homophobic but it’s the truth and our new patrons will keep us up and running.

Sen. Bernie Sanders: he is seeking the communist vote. Plain and simple. Did you know the CPUSA was an illegal political organization for a long, long time? When Eugene V. Debs was seeking the presidency? What wisenheimer ever allowed them to be a legal party once again? I have no clue.

Sen. Liz Warren is reaching out to the socialist voters, the people who do not know that communism and socialism are basically the same thing, just slightly different names. Socialism sounds nicer while communism sounds worse. Like her being ‘an Indian,’ she is no pro-American, she is pro-Big Brother. No way in hell.

Sen. Kamala Harris: if you like angry minority then she is for you. This woman is so peeved that she is not running away with the nomination that, much like Hillary, the anger and the hate oozes out of her pores like victory gin in “1984.”

What’s more, it is visceral, it is ugly, and it causes one to blanche whenever she opens her pouty lips and begins spewing yuck. Perhaps a body bath of Genusel® would bring back some vigor to her turkey neck? Sounds mean, I know, but true, folks, true. Voters would not vote for Hillary and they won’t vote for the ‘wicked witch of the west.’

Sen. Amy Klobuchar: you know, she sounds reasonable although she looks like a dog, bow wow. Still, if she is the nominee and were to become president, I could handle it because she is seeking all categories of voters and not just competing for one or two groups.

Sen. Cory Booker: you know, this man makes sense. He looks like a goofball and acts like one; however, he seems reasonable and compared to some of the other slobbering losers, if he became president, I might be able to handle it.

Vice President Joe Biden- still looking good[iv]. He is sane, he ripped Steyer a good one when he mentioned his coalmine operation in Australia. It will depend on who his vice president will be. Cory Booker, Tulsi Gabbard, or Amy Klobuchar might work because they will back him up and most likely follow him after one term. At least, he will accomplish his dream.

Friends, who knows where things will end up? I suspect that Yang, Steyer, Liz, Mayor Pete will be gone but some of the others will persevere. I guess we shall see.  Place your bets now.

Want to thank our benefactors for their kindness and we will meet again tomorrow. Thank you and God bless. Let’s hope the American people make the right decision as to whom should lead the Democratic Party forward next year.

#48.7x The Law #8 06-04-2014 (400)

The Law was a group that formed in 1991 and worked into 1992 featuring Paul Rodgers (vocals, guitars, keyboards), Kenney Jones (drums), Jim Barber (lead guitar), John Staehely (guitars), Pino Palladino (bass), and some other guest guitarists. Their self-titled album, “The Law” originally came out in ’91 what with this one being a re-released in March 19, 2008. We hope you will check it out as it is a fine effort by some top-notch British talent with some American guests. Please, get it at the world’s greatest online marketplace, Amazon.com.

[i] The Los Angeles Times has an amazing article about this two-faced multi-billionaire. Please use this link to read the article for yourselves so you can decide about whether the man is legitimate or highly dishonest: <https://www.latimes.com/politics/la-na-pol-2020-tom-steyer-hedge-fund-billionaire-20190711-story.html >

[ii] I predict the Central Five- Buttigieg, Biden, Sanders, Warren, and Harris will be the nucleus of the race from this point forward. The problem for Tom Perez, the man in charge of the DNC, is that he needs to get the other five and the rest of the goobers still out there seeking the nomination like Julian Castro, Wayne Messam, and the other losers out ASAP.

[iii] Washington state Governor Jay Inslee entered the race on March 01, 2019 and exited on August 21, 2019, becoming the third to drop out after Congressman Eric Swalwell (the first) and Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper (the second). Swalwell entered on April 08, 2019 and abandoned the race on July 08, 2019. Hickenlooper entered the race on March 04, 2019 and bailed out on August 15, 2019.

[iv] No matter what happens, Joe Biden is still looking good. It makes one curious as to whether Hillary will hitch up her shit-kicking boots for another go at it or if she will remain on the sideline watching the circus continue. We shall see.

[v] This was long overdue. We can thank Republican President Richard M. Nixon for opening the door to the New China.

Just the Facts: the news media considers itself light years above the rest of us who live ordinary lives, which is why they never have issues with calling us vile names, labeling us as reprobates, or proclaiming us ignorant morons

Prior to Donald Trump winning the White House, things were vehement enough.  To criticize policies enacted by President Obama and the Democrats was to invite immediate finger-pointing and accusations of being a racist.  To criticize a woman on the left invited cries of misogynist, to criticize gays or Muslims or anyone else invited barrages of invective and name-calling in which, the ones doing the hurling put the victim in whatever category they deemed he or she belonged.

WINTER SESSION 2019

BLOG POST #2,995 AT THE AICP-END

662 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2020

The AP says ‘old folks and conservatives fell prey to disseminating fake news, lies, and propaganda more so than the left…’

Century City, CA, 01-12-2019 Saturday: When I came up to Bakersfield to drop off my posts and update my tax information with the staff at our Oildale office, I read an article in the local newspaper, one I searched for later on the AP, an article that said that in the 2016 Election, the ‘elderly and conservatives shared (spread) more fake news than the liberal geniuses’ (the description is mine) and intimated that the old folks and the right-wing are stupid and open to any phony story they read, see or hear.  Hmmm, how insulting.

Here is the deal: here at this blog, we share OPINIONS, we EDITORIALIZE, we DISSEMINATE our thoughts but NEVER report the news.  We are not reporters nor are we a news outlet, what you read here are our views on whatever topics we choose to discuss on any given day.  We do not spread fake news, we do not instill the readers with propaganda, and we certainly do not lie so let no one tell you that the chef-bloggers at the American Institute of Culinary Politics-Elemental News of the Day endeavor to indoctrinate readers around the world with bulls**t designed to mislead anyone.

What is interesting about stories such as the older folks and the conservatives not being bright enough to discern bull hooey from rock solid, diamond-hard journalism is that the people spreading the stories emanate from the left so why would any of them put a dagger in their own heart by saying, we spread gobbledy-gook, too.  It will never happen.

Besides, everyone on the left tends to believe they reside on a higher plane of existence than everyone else does.  They believe that Mr. and Mrs. Joe Schmo are as stupid is as stupid does, to quote a cinematic film genius.  They tend to look down upon those of us who prefer to drink beer, like to go bowling, or go on vacations to national parks and scenic beaches.

The lefties like to go to skiing in Vail, Colorado, or visit the Swiss Alps, they like to go to the Cannes Film Festival where semi-senile doofuses such as Robert DeNiro and fallen-from-grace bankrupt actor Johnny Depp can lecture us about our allegiance to President Donald J. Trump or ask the assembled crowd of leftists in a reefer-madness haze-like state, “when is the last time an actor assassinated a president?  Should happen again, haw-haw” or some crap to that effect.

I have never heard President Trump drop an F-bomb on DeNiro, yet that jaded, past-his-prime actor, repeatedly threatens the President with violence as has former Vice President Joe Biden and countless other people.

Furthermore, I know that had someone like Hank Williams, Jr., threatened to punch President Barack Obama in the kisser, the Secret Service would have rushed over to his house, questioned him for hours, and maybe even have arrested the country musician and singer that once opened Sunday Night Football.

We have a double standard in this country that we must demand be changed, yet, I doubt it ever will.  We have seen all manner of berserk behavior from left-wing denizens, threats of bloodshed, actual uses of violence, and all sorts of intimidation, bullying, blacklisting, and online pugnaciousness.

To listen to the left speak, were one to visit here from the planet Mars, one might think that the leftists were the defenders of the little guy and gal, that they stand against hostility and belligerence because they are the ones constantly atop their soapboxes screeching and wailing over how coarse and spiteful the public conversations have become.  Yet, they are the ones doing most of the hate speech!

For a long time, tactics such as these worked extremely well.  People became fearful about speaking out in public, whether in person or in the form of online blog comments or letters to the editor in the local paper.  If one broke the left-wing imposed boundaries as to what is and what is NOT acceptable speech, one could find his-or-herself without a job, a place to live, and devoid of friends (unless said friends were members of the conservative right).

Things certainly have not gotten better, no, they have gotten far, far worse.  The left prevents conservative speakers from visiting college and university campuses unless they are willing to put their lives at risk.  People do not feel free to speak their minds at work.  They refrain from speaking aloud in classrooms, they keep to themselves in public, because everyone fears the immediate crackdown and the intimidation that follows when the left learns that someone is swimming against the current.

I remember back in the 1960s, the right to free speech was extremely important and that everyone defended the rights of others to speak, to freely associate, to protest, to do all manner of things without fear of retribution by…well, anyone.  We may not have liked what one another said but there was never any question that one would not be able to say what was on their mind unless, of course, it was screaming “FIRE” in a crowded theater.

Friends, we need to find a way to halt the inexorable move towards the left and all the intimidation and the bullying that comes along with it as once we lose our abilities to freely speak, we open the doors to fascism, socialism, communism, to the ‘dictatorship of the proletariat,’ the one that never evolves into ‘true (and desired according to Marxists) communism’ because people always resist surrendering individuality for complete government control.

Socialism is not ‘Santa Claus,’ it is a seducer of the young, the dumb, and the ignorant, which is why losers such as Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and Bernie Sanders want to stuff it where the sun don’t shine because they want to complete control over the American people.  We cannot give it to them.

Please, join me tomorrow for Sunday’s post.  Then, Chef Vick will be coming in to do her first week of the year.  See you tomorrow.

WE CONTINUE PRESENTING THE MUSIC OF THE AWE-INSPIRING BRITISH ROCK BAND, WISHBONE ASH OR OF MARTIN TURNER, FORMER MEMBER OF THE BAND

SATURDAY, JANUARY 12, 2019

The next effort released by famed bassist/vocalist Martin Turner, formerly of Wishbone Ash, came out on January 01, 2015: “Written in the Stars.”  The band had undergone a bit of a lineup change and now featured Ray Hatfield (guitars/vocals), Misha Nikolic (guitars), Keith Buck (lead guitar/vocals), Tim Brown (drums/percussion/and vocals).  Fans always wonder as to what the heck happens in bands where the chemistry achieved success and then why they splinter apart.  The second lineup of Wishbone Ash achieved great things but why Martin Turner left along with drummer Steve Upton is unknown because they were among the best acts to come out of Britain and to tour into the 1980s.  The bassist/vocalist demonstrates why we continue to love him and his music, which is why we urge everyone viewing today’s blog post to seek this stunning effort out at your favorite music site.  We thank you.

FEATURED ALBUM OF THE DAY:

Moby Grape released a ‘best of’ compilation on June 15, 2004, the iconic “Crosstalk: the Best of Moby Grape.”  This album compiled tunes from the band’s classic career and for first-time fans or longtime ones who want the best tunes in one place, this album is a must-own.  We urge everyone to use the link we provide you here so you can zip on over to the world’s greatest online marketplace, Amazon.com.  Once there, you can pick it up in the format, price, and condition you like.  We thank you.

The reformed Spooky Tooth released its follow-up effort to “You Broke My Heart so I busted your Jaw,” the acclaimed “Witness” on November 15, 1973.  The lineup featured Mike Harrison (vocals/keyboards), Gary Wright (keyboards/vocals), Chris Stewart (bass), Bryson Graham (drums), and Mick Jones (guitars).  Say what you will about these rocking Englishmen, they can rock with the best which is why we encourage everyone to seek this album out at your favorite record store and add it to your ever-growing collection of classic rock music.  Anything is better than Maroon 5 and other crap-hole bands so seek this one out NOW- you will be glad you did.

JUST THE FACTS- NO PHOTOS

THE AMERICAN INSTITUTE OF CULINARY POLITICS-ELEMENTAL NEWS OF THE DAY COMMENTARY-OPINION-SPORTS-FOOD SERVICE FOR SATURDAY, JANUARY 12, 2019 BY CHEF TIRESIAS HELENUS GRINIKEODOPULOPOSLUS

Just the Facts: in the battle for the soul of the Democratic Party, who will win: newcomer “Baby Evita” and others like her or the old guard such as Nancy Pelosi, Steny Hoyer, and James Clyburn?

Although “Baby Evita” is incredibly stupid, she simply does not recognize that fact and so she continues doing and saying crazy things, such as talking about the three chambers of Congress and telling people who ask for detailed answers to economic questions that they are ‘not qualified to be able to ask questions of her.’ Hmmm, what is up with this ignorant ditz?

FALL SESSION 2018

BLOG POST #2,945 AT THE AICP-END

712 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2020

TODAY IS MY 100th BLOG POST FOR THE AICP-END BLOG!

We could soon see a civil war break out for control of the Democratic Party

San Luis Obispo, CA, 11-23-2018 Friday:  Welcome friends, I hope you had a lovely Thanksgiving holiday.  We sure as heck did what with more than 437 people passing through the big holiday buffet in the main dining room of our hotel.  We always put on lavish holiday spreads for our customers as well as donate to local churches and other charities in the locale.  We love our customers and we love those who are less fortunate than we are.  A round of thanks to everyone who participated in making our annual event go off without a hitch as well as to our loyal fan base.

Friends, we hear about a new leftist organization interconnected to the Democrat base, the so-called “Justice Democrats,” a group to which, the “Baby Evita” belongs as a ranking member.  Their entire spiel is to go out and locate fellow leftists and then use them to primary older more conservative (according to the Justice Democrats) members of their party and boot them out, replacing them with fellow committed leftists.

Currently, I contend the “Baby Evita” (as my friend and colleague, Chef Lilah labeled Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in a post last week) thinks she is ‘hot stuff,’ that she is the one blessed with carrying the far-left liberal torch.  Holding it high, she plans on leading fellow far-left leftists (that’s a mouthful) to victory by having them primary the old, the aged, and the mentally infirm among her party.

One can only wonder what the heck the Democrats are thinking?  Surely, the Old Guard, the ones over age 60, must see this crazy little skank as a threat to their power and that at some point, they are going to have to launch a ‘beheading party’ of sorts and knock her and any likeminded dummies into order or out of the picture completely.

I would have thought that the people of her district would have launched a massive write-in campaign for the November General Election ballot to get “Old Joe” Crowley back in his seat.  We must remember that had he not been so dismissive of the “Baby Evita,” she would never have ousted him.  No, she would have returned to tending bar in her dive.

Like now-former Congressman Dave Brat did to the pompous and self-important former Congressman Eric Cantor, Brat could never have ousted Cantor from his seat had Cantor not been so smug in believing he was ‘untouchable.’

Anytime anyone believes he or she is ‘untouchable,’ they are going to be in for a major surprise and so Congressman Crowley blew another term by not even showing up to debate the little Puerto Rican transplant.  He instead sent a staffer, totally dismissing the buck-toothed chick.

I also believe that when Congressman Crowley lost his reelection bid by having the “Baby Evita” primary him, his fellow Democrats like Nancy Pelosi, Jim Clyburn, Steny Hoyer, and others chided HIM for not having done enough to protect his own seat.  I am sure they did this rather than viewing the new congresswoman as the threat she now appears to be.

I would have thought, too, that when the “Baby Evita” lead a sit-in protest her first day on Capitol Hill in the office of Nancy Pelosi that the older politician could not have been very happy.  You simply do not do that; no, when one wins an election to the House or Senate and is a newcomer, the first thing one does when one arrives in Washington, DC, they kiss the ring of power; or are supposed to kiss it.

The greatest gift Congresswoman Pelosi has had is her amazing ability to raise vast sums of money and to send it where it will do the most good for the Democratic Party.  Up until now, she has been unrivaled and might still be able to boot out someone such as the “Baby Evita” in two years by strangling the newcomer of the necessary funds and by pushing “Old Joe” Crowley or someone else to primary Ocasio-Cortez.

What we are going to see is the battle for the heart and soul of the Democratic Party.  Do ‘non-Democrats’ such as Bernie Sanders and the “Baby Evita” possess more power than the Old Guard or will the aged, creaking mummies unite for one last ride?  I guess we shall see.  The next two years should be extremely fascinating as an all-out civil war among the Democratic Party could tear it completely apart.

It will be interesting to see what happens, folks.  We could see younger, crazier Democrats go after the older ones in the same way as after Barack Obama became president there was a concerted effort to drive out the conservative Blue Dog Democrats.

Now, the Old-Timers are the ones at risk of being driven out of their party.  Now, they are the ones who could soon join “Old Joe” Crowley atop the trash heap of history.  I think this is WHY President Trump has made a nod towards Pelosi winning back the gavel instead of some young, crazed newbie who will not respect the rules of Washington.

Thanks for joining me today; I think we are in for one crazy ride and I am glad that I have a platform twice a year upon which, I can share my ideas and boost my words.  I appreciate all of you joining me each day I am here as well as for the rest of my colleagues.

See you tomorrow.  Have a gorgeous day.  Love you all.

Above, you see the caricature created for me by Bakersfield street artist, the amazing Simone.  We have gone this route because of increasing threats against the blog and its members.  I began my career as a young chef in the kitchen back in 1975, earlier than that.  I apprenticed underneath my father and spent six years working for him in his British-Irish restaurant in Fresno, California.  I later moved to Frazier Park, California, and spent quite a few years working in the area and that is where I met Stinkbug.  Anyhow, I am now working at a country club over on the coast near San Luis Obispo.  Please note: this is my pen name and any photos of me are simply outdated photos adopted for maintaining my privacy.

As we continue repairing our chronological order of the Doors albums, following the death of Jim Morrison, the band’s record label released a two-LP ‘best of’ compilation entitled, “Weird Scenes inside the Goldmine” on January 24, 1972.  This effort expanded the first ‘best of’ compilation and also included a pair of songs that emanated from “B” sides of the band’s singles.  Contained here is “Who Scared You” as well as Ray Manzarek-sung “If You Need Meat,” both of which are excellent additions to the growing discography.  Please, use the link we provide you here so you can visit Amazon.com where you can pick it up in its LP form.  You will be glad you did.

We continue offering CDs by the great New York band, the Velvet Underground. The band’s twenty-second album, “Cave 1968” came out in 2012 and presents the band live on stage in its early years, the time when they were better than almost any other group on the planet.  The VU is one of those bands that if you had the opportunity to see them live then you never forgot the experience.  Please, visit Amazon.com by using our link and going to the greatest online marketplace so you can get this CD in the format, condition, and the price that is right for you—you can thank us later.
