Elsewhere, Fascist Spain- like other undeclared allies of the Axis- Turkey and Portugal among the most notable- have been pressured by the Allies to turn their backs on the Nazis and begin cutting supplies of tungsten ore which is important for ammunition and shells. El Caudillo Francisco Franco will bow to the Allies’ request but will drag his feet for as long as he can. Portugal and Turkey also supply the Axis with essential minerals but will begin tapering the amounts.

  54. 2004 Sunday: Along the Gaza-Israeli border, Palestinian thugs murder a pregnant Israeli woman and her four daughters before Israeli Defense Forces light ‘em up and leave them dead like the rats they are.  Following this Palestinian-caused barbarity, the Israeli government votes NOT to pull out of the Gaza Strip.  Go in there and get this animalistic scum.   Elsewhere, the Baltimore Sun reports that a government report says that ‘since 2001, secret or private searches in the U.S. are up by since 2001, secret or private searches in the U.S. are up by 85-percent.  Who can blame people with the way the Bush administration has turned the country into a police state.

  57. 2007 Wednesday: Following yesterdays beating of illegal alien lovers during a May Day rally in Los Angeles, California, by the LAPD, outraged Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa orders an immediate investigation as to why the cops beat the snot out of the illegals.  Well, the illegals DON’T belong here so if they weren’t here, they would not have gotten their asses beat.   Elsewhere, President George W. Bush meets with Democrats in Congress so he and the legislative branch can figure out how to fund this never-ending, wholly unnecessary war.

  60. 2010 Sunday: The European Union and International Monetary Fund present Greece with 120 billion Euro bailout packages, to help rid them of their sovereign debt.   Elsewhere, following the bombing of the Mogadishu mosque yesterday, the death toll rises to 45 and the focus falls on the al-Qaida trash.  Light them up.
  61. 2011 Monday: As the news continues to spread about whacking Osama bin Laden, tens of thousands of people gather at Ground Zero in New York City as well as in other places around the country to celebrate the death of this terrorist POS.  The world also learns that in accordance with Islamic law, U.S. military authorities buried him via a sea burial in the Indian Ocean so that a burial site on land would not become a terrorist shrine.  The Allies did the same thing with the Nazis executed at Nuremburg.  They were cremated and went into a river.
  62. 2012 Wednesday: 2012 U.S. presidential candidate Newt Gingrich suspends his campaign for the Republican nomination.   Meanwhile, U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton arrives in Beijing for high-level talks with her opposites as well as find ways to line her and her hubby Bill’s pockets with Chi-Com cash.  While on site, she meets with blind Chinese dissident Chen Guangcheng.

  65. 2015 Saturday: In a boxing match that shattered financial records for the sport, Floyd Mayweather Jr. beats Manny Pacquiao on points in 12 rounds in the world unification welterweight title bout.  What a fight.  Congratulations to Mr. Mayweather.   Elsewhere, as the Nigerian military continues fighting through the Sambisa Forest, the government announces that another 234 women and girls have been rescued from the clutches of the Islamist group, Boko Haram.
  66. 2016 Monday: The ‘religion of peace’ is on the move yet again, this time in Baghdad, Iraq, where three separate bombings claim the lives of at least 14 poor souls including a number of Shiite pilgrims while the Syrian Army takes up positions around its prison in the city of Hama where violent prisoners have overthrown the prison staff and are holding them as hostages.  What will President Bashar al-Assad do?  We think he’ll employ poison gas inside the prison killing all of them (and the guards).
  67. 2016 Monday A: Elsewhere, the Catholic Church in the Philippines urges its followers to reject Roderigo Duterte who seems to be little more than a whack job.  Down in Venezuela, El Presidente Nicolas Maduro orders clocks in his nation to be moved forward by half-an-hour since the country is facing a major electricity shortage and that somehow moving the clocks up by 30 minutes will alleviate the suffering of the people.  YOU know what will alleviate their suffering?  Your fat neck dangling from a noose in the center of Caracas.  POS communist.
  68. 2017 Tuesday: Still angry from yesterday’s provocative overflight of the Korean Peninsula by two U.S. B-1B heavy bombers, Kim Jong Un warns the world that due to President Donald J. Trump’s belligerent stance against the peaceful Democratic Republic of North Korea, the military is going to accelerate its nuclear weapons programs and ‘could test a nuke at any time’ so there.  Elsewhere, the Los Angeles Times reports that Venezuelan thug dictator Nicolas Maduro is going to ‘draft a new constitution’ seeing as how violent mobs are protesting his regime in the streets.
  69. 2018 Wednesday: Disaster befalls romaine lettuce in Yuma, Arizona, as a massive e. coli outbreak sickens at least 121 people across 25 states killing one in the process.  Grocery stores around the country put out immediate recalls and stop-sales on all romaine lettuces, fresh and packaged, coming out of the region.   Elsewhere, as a show of good faith, ahead of the summit between President Donald J. Trump and North Korea’s Kim Jong Un, the North Koreans release the last three American detainees they have been keeping as a possible future trump card.
  70. 2019 Thursday: Iowa passes one of the strictest abortion bans saying ‘can’t happen’ after the detection of a fetal heartbeat.  Good for them.   Elsewhere, Senator Michael Bennet, D-CO, says he is in the running for the 2020 presidential nomination of his party.  No one cares.  Meanwhile, Facebook and Instagram ban several big names from its site for spreading violence and hate.  Among the folks bumped off the sites are Alex Jones, the Reverend Louis Farrakhan, David Duke, Milo Yiannopoulos, and several others.  We shall see.
  71. 2020 Saturday: After California Governor Gavin “The Smiler” Newsom orders ONLY the beaches of Orange County closed, the sheriff of the county says, ‘he will not enforce the order.’  Meanwhile, on the COVID-19- Wuhan Flu front- confirmed global cases are 3,424,254; confirmed deaths sit at 243,674; and confirmed recoveries are 1,092,715.  In the United States, the Kung Flu Virus Crisis- given us by the communist Chinese- is thus: confirmed cases sit at 1,157,782, confirmed deaths at 67,046, and confirmed recoveries are 150,934.  Meanwhile, the communist Chinese claim the following numbers (let’s see if they have changed): confirmed cases: 88,423; confirmed deaths: 4,633; and confirmed recoveries: 81,785!  Which is almost the same as one week ago, lying scumbags.  Around the United States, more states continue reopening and no upticks in the Coronavirus Crisis are seen so to all authoritarian governors out there, you better lighten up.  (It is interesting to note that Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer is still whining about ‘Confederate and swastika flags being seen at protests but every piece of film we have looked at, those flags are nowhere to behold.  ANTIFA- do your job, go to Michigan, and protest this b***h).
  72. 2021 Sunday: Let’s hope it’s a slow news day…

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

#PF001.1m Dark Side of Moon #13 04-19-2020 (400)

On March 01, 1973, Pink Floyd released an album that would cement the fame and fortune of their later career, “The Dark Side of the Moon.” This album hit FM radio stations and remained on the charts longer than most other hit albums of the era.   The music explores numerous themes but much of it revolves around founding member, Syd Barrett’s descent into LSD madness. He would set the tone for much of the band’s musical ideas and thematic experiences for years to come. This album is a pleasure to behold from start to finish and we encourage everyone to rush out and add it to your collection. This album is on so many charts around the world that it is astounding and we can remember when it came out and we were in or out of high school, it was stunning, mind-blowing, and one none of us will ever forget. Look for it now.

Just the Facts: Green New Deal is little more than a money-making, economy-killing environmentalist scam

Everyone involved in the green energy industry has become fabulously wealthy because there is so much money to be made, to be skimmed off the top, to be transferred to overseas bank accounts. There is much money to be made in taxes, in government monitoring, that these jobs become plum assignments passed out like Halloween candy to insiders and their families, sort of like what we discussed yesterday about Joe Biden’s family.

“Just the Facts: Green New Deal is little more than a money-making, economy-killing environmentalist scam” by Chef Jimmy Hall

SPRING SESSION 2019

BLOG POST #3,105 AT THE AICP-END

552 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2020

The Green New Deal is a scam, a profitable one for some to be sure, but still a scam

Santa Barbara, CA, 05-02-2019 Thursday: As a young liberal, when I belonged to the Peace and Freedom Party, more like the Poontang All-the-Time Party, I was big into the Environment, into saving the planet from catastrophe, into doing what was right for Mother Nature, and for Green Energy and the like.  Then, one day, I realized it was a big scam.

Of course, we want clean air, clean water, we don’t want litter cluttering up our environment, we want sustainable energy sources mingled with fossil fuels so we have the energy a booming economy will forever need.

Moreover, we want to conserve our natural resources along with policing the wild lands bequeathed us by God as well as by our ancestors and by the federal, state, and local governments that work hard to protect our national parks and the wild lands that still surround us such as the mountains, the prairie, the coastlines, and the oceans.

At some point in the 1990s, however, after the collapse of the Soviet Union, we saw a shift in environmental policy and theory, a shift that moved us away from keeping the environment clean and conserving what the Lord bestowed upon the people of our country and our planet with a totalitarian, top-heavy form of environmental-governmental policy.

Said policy sought more at controlling and quite possibly punishing the American people for their amazing success than in enabling them to do what was right and what was necessary for both the present and for future generations.

We then heard that a new Ice Age was coming and that we must prepare for this eventuality.  We had to prepare for what could possibly be the End Times and then when the End of Days did not show up, we slowly began moving towards “Global Warming” and then “Climate Change” and now “Extreme Weather” as a means of clubbing average folks atop the head yet, not a peep about solar flares and solar winds.

Our elected leaders, in conjunction with the United Nations as well as various NGOs and the like, all seek to force this global government atop us with the goal of protecting the planet from an environmental Armageddon, one that seems to punish the United States more so than any other nation on the globe.  The question is, “WHY?”

The answer is this: WHAT better way to enlist the American people (as well as those around the globe) on a crusade to protect the planet from destruction?  Instead of seeking to do it via the imposition of a ‘class system’ as socialism usually goes, communists can do it via scaring everyone that unless immediate action is taken, which means surrendering individual needs to those of the group, everything we know, love, and revere will disappear.  In a cosmic flash of sorts.

This is what the modern environmentalist movement is all about.  Those on the bottom (and there will be but two classes- the leaders and everyone else) will surrender everything for the whole and will serve those on the top.  Those on the top will continue to live in and accrue more and more luxury while those on the bottom will continue surrendering more and more of theirs and will live in ever-deeper pits of misery all so we can ‘save the planet.’  Diabolical.

What’s more, there is much money to be made in environmentalism.  The imposition of a system of carbon credits and the wheeling and dealing in them as though they were some sort of legitimate asset that has mass, something one can hold, save, and bank for the future.  All of this exists on computers and in ledger books and nowhere else.

Then, we have the indoctrinated, the ones who have drunk long and deep from the well of poisonous green Kool-Aid, at least a couple of generations so far.  Like the Spies in George Orwell’s novel, “1984,” these are the true believers, the ones who honestly believe that in ‘twelve years, the planet is not going to exist unless we do something about it NOW such as implementing the Green New Deal.”

Now, we all know of whom I speak, freshman Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, little AOC, aka the Baby Evita, the girl who is the architect of the GND.  She is a true believer (or, if not, she does a good impression of being one) and she wants to force misery on ALL Americans so she and her confederates can somehow ‘save the planet.’

Then, there are dummies like Robert Francis “Beto and the Hand Jive” O’Rourke, failed congressman, failed Senate candidate who seeks to beat Donald Trump in 2020.  This bonehead unveiled a $5 trillion plan to save the environment.  Really?  Only $5 trillion?  Where can I sign on to get some of the money you and others like you plan on passing out?  Talk about a shyster and a dumb one at that.

What everyone must remember is that ALL proponents of the GND and of prior environmentalist scams is this: when they promise ‘millions of green jobs will ensue,’ NONE ensue.

See you tomorrow.  Do not let these left-wing door-to-door salesmen take advantage of you.

Back in the day, I was working at a hotel in Bakersfield, California, down on Union Avenue where I met Stinkbug.  It was still nice at the time, and the area was still the original “restaurant row” of the city.  Now, I am over 70 years old and work over in Santa Barbara, CA, as a food and beverage director for a fine-dining country club.  The pictures you see here of me are facsimiles created by up-and-coming Bakersfield, California, street artist, the famed Simone.  Good work, dude, good work.

FEATURED ALBUM OF THE DAY:

Genesis front man and drummer Phil Collins, released his second solo album to critical acclaim on November 05, 1982, “Hello, I Must be Going.”  The album had a who’s who of musical accompaniment beginning with Collins himself (drums/percussion/vocals/guitars/keyboards), Mo Foster (bass), John Giblin (bass), Daryl Stuermer (guitars), and numerous other musicians.  The album was a good follow up and had several singles, most notably, “You Can’t Hurry Love,” and “I Don’t Care Anymore.”  We hope everyone will seek this album out by visiting whatever site they do for nothing but the best in rock music- you will be glad you did.

The estate of Randy California released his next album in concert with his step-father, drummer/percussionist Ed Cassidy, the remastered and much-expanded version of a classic on August 20, 2011: “The Original Potato Land.”  A long-sought classic, rather like the Beach Boys’ “Smile,” the album was recorded in the early 1970s and features a psychedelic, heady, go-with-the-flow-style music.  John Locke of Spirit fame joins on keyboards as do other guest musicians.  If you want to hear a phenomenal album from the times, this is one everyone must add to their ever-growing collection of fine music.  Please, seek it out and add it to your collection; you will be so glad you did.

Humble Pie released a “best of” compilation on June 14, 2006, “The Definitive Collection.” This album contains the crème de la crème of the original two lineups and is a good effort to check out if you have yet to get in on the ground floor with this venerable British rock band, this is an excellent and affordable way in which, to do it so please, do it now- you will be glad you did.
