Gardner- a political hack of the highest degree- filed charges against Mark and Patricia McCloskey for having ‘brandished their weapons in an unlawful manner at PEACEFUL PROTESTERS’ threatening to burn down their home, murder, and rape them, and kill their dog.  This is what happens when former Nazi George Soros buys state attorneys general , secretaries of state, and district attorneys at all levels.  We must stop this POS from undermining the country.

  49. 2014 Wednesday: Thanks to West African nations educating their citizens on how to bury their dead folks properly, Ebola cases begin slowing down with hospitals now only partly full of those afflicted.
  50. 2015 Thursday:  Today’s the day for Congressman Paul Ryan- he’s elected to replace outgoing Speaker of the House John Boehner.   Meanwhile, communist China announces an end to its one-child policy after 35 years.  Guess they are building up their military.  A nation like the People’s Republic of China requires massive amounts of cannon fodder to become dictator of the world.
  51. 2016 Saturday: In Oslo, Norway, former Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev says it would benefit the world if we could tone down the rhetoric meaning the Democratic Party in the United States won’t stop blaming Vladimir Putin and Russia for all the ills in the world but especially in the upcoming presidential election.  In Game 4 of the World Series, the Cleveland Indians beat the Chicago Cubs by a score of 7-2, giving them a 3-to-1 series lead.
  52. 2017 Sunday: Federal law enforcement officers order former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort and his associate Rick Gates to surrender to the authorities in the ongoing attempt to dig up dirt on President Donald J. Trump.   Meanwhile, U.S. Secretary of Defense Gen. James “Mad Dog” Mattis warns of a massive response should Kim Jong Un and North Korea attack the United States or our allies in the region.  Seems like he is trying to gin up yet another endless war in the Third World.   Elsewhere, in Game 5 of the 2017 World Series, the Houston Astros recover from being down four runs to the Los Angeles Dodgers and then beating them by a score of 13-12 in the bottom of the 10th inning to take a 3-2 series lead.  Both starters—Clayton Kershaw and Dallas Keuchel—found themselves knocked out somewhat early in the game with the bull pens then battling one another to eke out an incredible win. Meanwhile, all but 10 members of the Houston Texans took a knee during the national anthem, being the worthless POS’s they are, reacting to a remark from team owner Bob McNair to other NFL owners that “we can’t have the inmates running the prison.”  F**k them football players for being so flipping sensitive.  Grow a frigging pair, already.
  53. 2018 Monday: Long-time leftist leader of Germany- Angela Merkel- announces she will not seek another term as chancellor of the European powerhouse in 2021 and that when her term is up, she will also step down as head of her party.  Down in Brazil, Jair Bolsonaro, conservative politician, defeats his left-wing challenger Fernando Haddad in the presidential election.
  54. 2019 Tuesday: Climate Change alarmists are at it again: in a study published in “Nature Communications” by ‘Climate Central,’ ‘rising seas around the world could endanger more than 150 million people worldwide, three times higher than previously thought- when?  A  decade from now?  A century?  Or is this more bulls**t designed to strike terror into the hearts of young people across the globe?  Speaking of REAL danger, California continues to burn down, causing PG&E to flip the switch on more than 1.5 million customers in the vain hope they can halt the various wildfires’ progress.  Manage the forests and we would not be in the trouble in which, we find ourselves.  In Game 6 of the 2019 World Series, the Washington Nationals beat the Houston Astros 7-2 in Houston.
  55. 2020 Thursday: Both President Donald J. Trump and former vice president “Pro-China Joe” Biden are in Florida today battling for votes.  Famed political adviser Dick Morris says that ‘Democrats are doing everything possible to keep voters from going to the polls on Tuesday.’  Speaking of the polls, a judge in Michigan strikes down a ban of open carry of firearms at polling sites.  In other news, the economy grew a record 33 percent in the 3rd Quarter which House Speaker Nancy “Mumbles” Pelosi dismisses as ‘nothing.’  Even worse, she tells the hoi polloi that ‘it’s because of government largesse,’ which she seems to be standing in the way of.  White House economic adviser Larry Kudlow says the growth was ‘beyond expectations.’  Finally, famed golfer Jack Nicklaus endorses President Trump because he’s ‘kept his promises.’
  56. 2020 Thursday A: Department of Homeland Security officials warn that ‘IF Joe Biden wins on Election Day, there will be a massive invasion across the southern border.’  Speaking of border issues, Twitter (break these SOBS up) suspends the account of the U.S. border chief Mark Morgan for celebrating the success of the wall between the United States and Mexico for bringing the numbers of illegals attempting to sneak across the border to almost nil.  Time to break Twitter up.  Meanwhile, the U.S. Supreme Court allows extensions for the arrival of ballots in Pennsylvania and North Carolina.  In the same vein, the Girl Scouts of America delete a tweet celebrating the successful nomination and placement onto the U.S. Supreme Court of Amy Coney Barrett because of leftist backlash.  Finally, Dr. Tony Fauci and Goldman Sachs demand a national mask mandate as a means of stopping the Chi-Com Virus.
  57. 2020 Thursday B: In France, the so-called ‘religion of peace’- Islam- strikes again as an Islamist thug murders three women- including the beheading of one- at the Basilica of Notre Dame in Nice- whereas another one attempting to cause mayhem gets shot by the cops. Elsewhere on the foreign affairs front, the White House moves ahead with the sale of 50 F-35 jets to the United Arab Emirates.
  58. 2020 Thursday C: Glenn Greenwald, co-founder of the Intercept, posts his resignation letter on Twitter today.  Since the Intercept has joined in the crowd that is doing everything possible to censor any stories connected to Hunter Biden’s laptop or to his dad’s crooked dealings in Chi-Com land, the Ukraine, and wherever else President Barack Obama had sent him, he felt he could no longer work there.  What a shame.  Go to Newsmax.  Speaking of the Biden Family story, Ronna McDaniel, chairperson of the Republican National Committee, says ‘censorship of this story is a step closer to socialism.’  We can attest to that because some unseen entity out there has slashed our numbers to almost ZERO.   Elsewhere, UBS poll shows investors favor President Donald J. Trump over “Pro-China Joe” Biden by 52-48 percent.  No kidding!  Meanwhile, we learn that the little closet pink cupcake Jack Dorsey of Twitter has censored President Donald J. Trump 65 times (at least) and “Pro-China Joe” Biden ZERO times.  Again, it’s time to break up Twitter, Google/Alphabet, and Facebook.  Deport Sundar Pichai and his family back to Bangladesh.
  59. 2020 Thursday D: Folks, here are the numbers for the Xi Jinping Yellow Fever, Chi-Com Virus, the Wuhan Horseshoe Bat Flu- Pelosi Pox:  Here are the statistics for the planet as a whole: 44,708,172 confirmed cases, +396,498, 1,177,077, confirmed deaths, +5,791, and 30,130,418 confirmed recoveries, +240,476.  Next, here are the stats for the United States, the intended target of the Chinese-engineered Wuhan Virus pandemic: 9,026,274 confirmed cases, UP 87,139 from yesterday’s reporting, 232,008 confirmed deaths, UP 1,151, and 5,512,841 confirmed recoveries, UP 30,204.  Here are the stats for Israel now that Mo is living there: 313,114 confirmed cases, 2,508 confirmed deaths, and 299,439 confirmed recoveries.
  60. 2020 Thursday E: Next, in the three states in which, the world-famous, anti-communist American Institute of Culinary Politics-the Elemental News of the Day employs chef-bloggers- California, Hawaii, and Washington- here are the stats, California first: 924,336 confirmed cases, 17,554 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Next here are the numbers for Hawaii: 14,975 confirmed cases, 215 confirmed deaths, and 11,605 confirmed recoveries.  Finally, here are the stats for leftist-Marxist-socialist hellhole of Washington: 110,193 confirmed cases, 2,458 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Let’s look at one other state: Maryland- currently, they have 143,875 confirmed cases, 4,127 confirmed deaths, and 8,144 confirmed recoveries- thank you, Governor Larry Hogan for your honesty.
  61. 2020 Thursday F: We had a up-and-down day in the markets today.  Here are the stats for today’s Stock Market closes: first the DOW Jones Industrial Average, 26,659.11, UP 139.16 points (+0.52%).  Next, here are the stats for the NASDAQ:  11,185.59, UP 180.72 points (+1.64%).  Finally, here are the numbers for the S&P 500: 3,310.11, UP 39.08 points (+1.19%).  Price of GOLD: $1,866.20 per troy oz., -1.80 (-0.10%)  Here is the price of SILVER: $23.30 per troy oz., -0.006 (-0.26%).  Price of PLATINUM: $850.30 per troy oz., +0.80 (+0.09%).  Price of PALLADIUM: $2,198.50 per troy oz., -52.10 (-2.31%).  Here is the price of COPPER: $3.06 per #, +0.002 (+0.07%).   Price of Light Sweet Crude Oil per barrel: $36.01, -0.16 (-0.44%).  Today, one-dollar U.S. = 6.71 PRC yuan whereas one U.S. greenback = 0.86 euros.  Conversely, one-dollar U.S. = 28.35 Taiwanese dollars.
  62. 2020 Thursday G: Breaking News- Greg Kelly on Newsmax reports that the U.S. Department of Justice has been investigating Hunter Biden since December 2019.  One of the things being investigating are possible money-laundering charges.  One might think word of this would have arisen while the House was running the impeachment sham against President Donald J. Trump.  Shame.
  63. 2020 Thursday H: Tonight’s Thursday Night Football Game (1) Atlanta Falcons, 25 (2-6) @ Carolina Panthers, 17 (3-5).
  64. 2020 Thursday I: In other news, the Trump administration reverses an Obama era policy that prevented Americans born in Jerusalem from listing either the city or the nation of Israel on their passports. The John Roberts Supreme Court helped Obama accomplish this by saying its standing interfered with the president’s right to set foreign policy.  What? Screw Obama, the man was an anti-Semite as are many Democrats.  Elsewhere, although historically still high, new jobless claims dropped to 751,000, the lowest since March.  Numbers are down by 40,000 across 30 states with California, Florida, and Texas showing the biggest gains in the era of COVID-19.  Sadly, IHOP says it’s going to close 100 restaurants across the country thanks to the ongoing Chi-Vi pandemic.
  65. 2020 Thursday J: Friends, we invite everyone to stick around to discover whatever the Chi-Coms, their Democratic Party gofers and their Fake News allies are up to today- you will want to know, believe us.

  55. 2019 Thursday: Russia once again demonstrates its lack of ability- or its concern for human life- when a mysterious explosion at a nuclear weapons plant and testing facility in the sealed city of Sarov occurs, killing at least five scientists and wounding God knows how more. Come on, Vladimir, impose some safeguards on your people.
  56. 2020 Saturday: Here are today’s COVID-19 Wuhan Virus, aka the Xi Jinping Bat Flu, aka the Chinese Flu, the Kung Flu, you know, the Chinese “gift” that won’t stop giving, statistics for today: 19,425,393 confirmed cases, UP 264,587, 722,066 confirmed deaths, UP 5,983, and 11,773,122 confirmed recoveries, UP 167,998. Gavin Newsom being little more than a festering POS, NO mention of confirmed recoveries.  In Hawaii, here are the stats: 3,115 confirmed cases, 31 confirmed deaths, and 1,467 confirmed recoveries.  Finally, in the too-far-left-to-save-state-of-Washington, here are the stats: 61,587 confirmed cases, 1,672 confirmed deaths, and like California’s worthless governor, Gov. Jay Inslee won’t list the number of confirmed recoveries.  Let’s look at the numbers of another state we haven’t looked at lately, Ohio, the “Buckeye State,” one of the worst states for out-of-control liberal politics.  The number of cases in the state is 99,969 while the number of deaths is 3,668.  No mention of the number of confirmed recoveries.  Such a shame but the one thing we do know is that Governor Mike DeWine, a RINO, is little more than a hardcore political hack.
  57. 2020 Saturday A: Let’s look at the second-highest nation infected with the Wuhan Virus, Brazil: the South American nation has 3,012,412 cases of Xi Jinping’s gift to the world what with 100,477 deaths, and 2,068,394 recoveries.   India is the third highest nation infected with this dastardly, lab-engineered virus what with 2,152,020 confirmed cases, 43,453 confirmed deaths, and 1,479,804 confirmed recoveries.  Russia comes in fourth what with 882,347 confirmed cases, 14,854 confirmed deaths, and 690,207 confirmed recoveries.  Now, let’s look at the Chi-Coms, the place where this needless disaster began: they come in 30th among nations with 84,590 confirmed cases, 4,634 confirmed deaths, and 79,123 confirmed recoveries (although our sources in Hong Kong and Macau tell us they are 10-times higher than reported which sounds about right for the main communist hellhole on the planet.  Shame on them).
  58. 2020 Saturday B: Sadly, without any help from the Democrats, President Trump takes it upon himself to improve the lot of the American people, people whose lives have been thrown into freefall thanks to the Chinese Virus Crisis, aka the Xi Jinping Bat Flu, by signing an executive order that will do the following: (1) $400 in enhanced unemployment benefits throughout the remainder of the year; (2) A payroll ‘holiday’ tax that will cut payroll taxes for every American making under $100,000 per year; (3) A continued moratorium on evictions; and (4) deferring student loan repayments until next year. The president is asking the states to cover 25-percent of the costs while the federal government will cover the other 75-percent.  Democrats threaten to take him to court over these actions.  WHY?  They want bailouts for Blue States- like California- that is so far in the RED it risks imploding in upon itself because CalPERS needs billions of dollars to keep it solvent while Sacramento gives money and benefits- including free health care to ILLEGAL ALIENS.  Let California DIE.  We say this even though our blog site is based there.  It is time for change.
  59. 2020 Saturday C: The people of Beirut, Lebanon, continue protesting their government’s corruption in allowing their port to blow up on Tuesday thanks to more than 2,700 tons of ammonium nitrate stored in the port. Some even call for the lynching of Hezbollah boss, Hassan Nasrallah, a POS terrorist if one ever existed.  In some cases, police use live ammunition on the protesters as violence gets out of control.  Meanwhile, Portland, Oregon, sees yet another night of mayhem in the streets, its 70th but who’s counting, right) while Mayor Ted Wheeler scolds Antifa for misbehaving.  Folks do what the police in Beirut are doing, the moment you see some POS rioter raise his arm to throw an incendiary device, shoot them.  It works and has always worked in the past.  Has the United States lost its nerve?

#ST0001.2a Long Way Home #27 07-02-2020 (400)

Roger Hodgson released his next solo effort, a DVD- “Take the Long Way Home- Live in Montreal”- on June 10, 2007.  This effort features the artist on keyboards, guitars, and vocals with a horn player providing accompaniment.  We sometimes ponder WHY artists (or their record companies) release certain things and then end up with the conclusion that “it is what it is.”  One thing is for certain: IF you love this band in the way that we do, then you will want whatever material an artist releases which is why we consider ourselves ‘completists’ as should you if you have been with us since the founding of our world-famous (joking, of course) blog.  We thank you for evaluating our suggestions and opinions…

  48. 2018 Friday: Walt Disney Co. announces they have fired director James Gunn who was set to direct “Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 3,” all because of some past offensive tweets. Can we not forgive and forget ‘old tweets?’  Everyone has numerous ‘bad tweets’ in their closet and all it takes is some scumbag hacker to find and release them.  How about an amnesty?  Liberals love amnesties, so how about one for all past tweets?
  49. 2019 Saturday: University of Michigan student and Miss Michigan- Kathy Zhu- found herself stripped of her as a participant in the Miss World America because of past tweets (here we go again) and her conservative views. As a proud conservative and supporter of President Donald J. 50. 2020 Monday: Here are today’s Xi Jinping Bat Flu Statistics for the globe: 14,567,109 confirmed cases, +206,658, 607,187 confirmed deaths, +3,902, and 8,193,138 confirmed recoveries, +121,201.  Here are the numbers for the United States: 3,834,208 confirmed cases, UP by 52,223 new cases, 142,601 confirmed deaths, UP by 372 new deaths, and 1,187,084 confirmed recoveries, UP by 8,566 new recoveries.   Next, in the three states in which, the world-famous American Institute of Culinary Politics-The Elemental News of the Day employs chef-authors, California, Hawaii, and Washington, here are the stats, Golden State first: 391,538 confirmed cases, 7,694 confirmed deaths, but as is the norm, NO mention of confirmed recoveries.  Next, here are the stats for the Aloha State: 1,381 confirmed cases, 24 confirmed deaths, and 1,043 confirmed recoveries.  Finally, in the Ever-Red, uh, we mean, the Evergreen State, here are the stats: 46,946 confirmed cases, 1,447 confirmed deaths, but like California, the slope-headed governor, Jay Inslee, won’t share the number of confirmed recoveries.  Shame on these flipping Democrats.
  51. 2020 Monday A: Here are today’s Stock Market closes: DOW Jones Industrial Average: 26,680.87, UP 8.92 points (0.33%).  Next, the NASDAQ: 10,767.09, UP 263.90 points (2.51%).  Finally, here are the stats for the S&P 500: 3,251.84, UP 27.11 points (0.84%).  Currently, GOLD is at $1,819.00 per troy oz., UP 1.60 (+0.09%), SILVER is at $20.33 per troy oz., UP +0.183 (+0.68%), PLATINUM $862.60 per troy oz. UP +4.70 (+0.55%), and COPPER is at $2.92 # +0.0055 (+0.19%).  Light Sweet Crude Oil is 40.69, DOWN -0.12 (-0.29%).
  52. 2020 Monday B: Statistics for shootings in Chicago over the weekend are in: 71 people shot and 12 dead.  In New York City, 30 people were shot over the weekend with 10 dead.  Where are Black Lives Matter?  Nowhere because BLM is little more than a left-wing hate group and not a group determined to protect black Americans from violence.
  53. 2020 Monday C: St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kimberly M.

#ST0001.1h Famous Words #8 07-02-2020 (400)

Following the release of “Breakfast in America” and the subsequent worldwide tour supporting it, Supertramp returned to the studio and worked long and hard on the follow-up effort, the much maligned “…Famous Last Words,” on October 07, 1982.  This album would be the final one to feature the classic lineup of Rick Davies (keyboards, vocals, harmonicas), Roger Hodgson (guitars, backing and lead vocals), John Anthony Helliwell (saxophones, flutes, vocals), Dougie Thompson (bass), and Bob Seibenberg (drums and percussion) as change was once more in the wind.  The album did deliver a marvelous single, “It’s Raining Again,” which is a true joy to behold.  Although the flipping critics at the time lambasted both the album and the band for putting out ‘schlock,’ this song alone is well worth the price of admission.  We encourage everyone to seek it out at whatever haunt you do for the absolute best in classic rock music.  You will be glad you did.  We thank you.

Just the Facts: the Democratic Party of the present is sure not the one of the past- NOTHING they do seems to be able to stop the massive butt-whooping they have coming on Election Day

Now, there is this pathetic little guy down in Florida, a loser making bombs NEVER meant to go off yet, he captured the attention of the entire nation for a few days. Cesar Sayoc, a former male dancer, a guy who lived in his van, a man who had a conviction back in 2002 for making terroristic threats with a ‘bomb,’ and a man who as of now, claims to be a BIG TRUMP GUY (well, he hasn’t but the FAKE NEWS MEDIA says so).

FALL SESSION 2018

BLOG POST #2,920 AT THE AICP-END

EIGHT DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2018

As we creep closer to the Mid-Term Elections of 2018, the Democrats continue throwing one spitball after another all to no effect; President Trump continues marching on

Santa Barbara, CA, 10-29-2018 Monday: I feel immense pride being able to come in one week ahead of the all-important 2018 Mid-Term Elections because we are in such a state of distress, what we do on Tuesday, November 6, is going to be perhaps the most important votes in the history of the country.  The country is in a mess, oh, do not get me wrong, the economy is booming, even here in depressed California where there are more poor people and down-and-out families than in any other part of the country and yet, our esteemed Democrat leaders want to open their arms and bring in the horde of Central Americans flowing towards our borders.

Now, the regular readership understands that I, your host, was a leftist back in my youth.  I used to be a member of the pot-smoking, left-wing loser party we know as the Peace and Freedom Party here in the Golden State.  I used to go protest on college campuses, opposed the war in Vietnam and did a bunch of things for which, I am not very proud of…at least the ones I can recall.

Over the years as I became a successful professional chef and restaurant owner, I began to see the light.  I saw there was nothing wrong with making good money, putting it away in the bank or investing it in secure stocks and bonds that would provide me an income throughout my lifetime as well as for my kids and grandkids.  I guess you can say, I set the hash pipe down, threw the LSD away, and became a member of the establishment.

At the ripe old age of 73, I am concerned.  I am concerned about the future of my state just as I am concerned about the future of my country.  I fear the Left and I fear how they seemingly have gone over the waterfall in a barrel and have no plans for how to stay alive once their heads begin clanging on the rocks below the waterline.

What have we seen since September?  We have seen the left as fronted by the aged losers and younger dimwits on the Democratic side of the aisle destroy a fine man, a qualified judge, a family man in the person of Judge Brett Kavanaugh.  Congratulations Justice Kavanaugh, what a horrible situation you had to endure merely to serve your country.

We saw a scumbag lawyer by the name of Michael Avenatti come up with some real garbage, a woman by the name of Julie Swetnick who said she witnessed multiple gang rapes orchestrated by young Brett Kavanaugh until one time they decided to pull the rape train on her and then she stopped going to the parties but remained mum until he sat before the Senate Judiciary Committee.

Then, the ‘great’ Senator Elizabeth Warren came out and said that she had ‘proof’ that she was ‘Native American.’  Well, okay then, how much, Senator?

“One-thousand and one-hundred-and-twenty-fourth Native American, in fact; how do you like them apples?”

Hmmm.  Normally, I like MY Native Americans to have about 10-percent or more and to be on the national registry of recognized tribes.  How she could even think that that was not going to make her the laughing stock of the land is beyond me and yet, instead of sleeping on it (or sleeping it off) for several days, she put out a campaign ad in which, she berated President Donald J. Trump for calling her mother a ‘liar.’

Now, when I was young and impetuous, I used to say things before I thought them sufficiently out.

It cost me relationships and it might have cost me some jobs.  It also cost me some familial relationships that took years to repair.  I look at Senator Warren and see that she is pretty damned old and yet, she hasn’t a clue that her chances at winning the Democratic Party’s 2020 Presidential nomination went out the flipping window and about 30 floors down to the ground below.  Ba-boom!

Now, thanks to the misreporting by the FAKE NEWS MEDIA, we learned that this arch-terrorist, this super-fiend, this despicable villain made bombs using PVC pipe, old clocks, no worthwhile shrapnel, and then sent them to losers such as Barack and Michelle Obama, Old Joe Biden, Cory “Spartacus” Booker, “Auntie” Maxine Waters (you know, the one with the low IQ), George Soros (the man behind the Democrat curtain), and to some others on the much coveted list.

Almost immediately, the FAKE NEWS MEDIA screamed that the “MAGA Bomber was sending the ‘bombs’ to Trump targets” (meaning, he was sending them to people with whom Trump and they were having back-and-forth insult campaigns) and made them appear as though they were coming out of the office of the lovely, (truly atrocious) Debbie Wasserman Schultz.

I must say, for President Trump ‘directing this guy to send ‘bombs’ to his ‘targets,’ the Justice Department and law enforcement around the nation caught this feeble loser and put him in custody as of Friday afternoon.

Friends, as a former leftist let me say this: just because someone has stickers of one party all over his van does not mean he supports the people and parties on those stickers.  This, to me, sounds more like a false flag operation, one that easily could have come out of the evil writings of Saul Alinsky.

I think by the time this week comes to its conclusion, we will know more.  I agree with some of my colleagues such as Chef Z and Chef JT that this smacks more of liberal than conservative doings.  I wish no one did stupid stuff like this but one thing we know beyond the shadow of a doubt is that in the Era of Donald J. Trump, his political enemies will do ANYTHING to make him look bad or to thwart him.

See you tomorrow from liberal Santa Barbara, in the belly of the evil liberal beast.  Beautiful place though.

Back in the day, I was working at a hotel in Bakersfield, California, down on Union Avenue where I met Stinkbug.  It was still nice at the time, and the area was still the original “restaurant row” of the city.  Now, I am over 70 years old and work over in Santa Barbara, CA, as a food and beverage director for a fine-dining country club.  The pictures you see here of me are facsimiles created by up-and-coming Bakersfield, California, street artist, the famed Simone.  Clever work, dude, excellent work.
