The record company of Pink Floyd- EMI- delivered another arresting BEST OF compilation on September 26, 2011, the much-admired “Discovery.”  This effort was close to comprehensive in that it contained not only all of the studio albums from start to finish- including “More,” as well as loads of lavish extras.   The only album not included are the live albums, “Delicate Sound of Thunder” and “Pulse” as well as “Endless River,” all three of which deserve to have been included but it is what it is.  Still, IF you have as yet NOT introduced the music of this astonishing band to your hungry ears, you can rectify that mistake by doing so NOW.  Visit Amazon.com or whatever else site you do for the best in music.  We thank you.

Once we accept that China and Mexico are NOT our friends, we can take the necessary steps to force them into line by relocating our industries to friendlier climes or back home

What’s more, I agree with my colleagues: Mexico is NOT our friend and has not been one in a long, long time. Sure, they are angry that we kicked their butts in 1848 but oh, woe is me. What the hell did their government think was going to happen when the SOBS massacred everyone at the Alamo? It was not like we were going to let that one pass us by; no, we went down there and whooped butt and they have been chomping at the bit for decades now, hoping their Reconquista strategy will somehow catch us napping.

516 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2020

Countries such as Mexico and China might think they can get the best of us; however, the shoe will be on the other foot by the time President Trump dispenses with them…

Century City, CA, 06-07-2019 Friday: Every day, we are amazed at the resiliency of President Donald J. Trump.  Gradually, bit-by-bit, ever-so-sneaky, he is accomplishing much of what he promised the American people he was going to do- even as the Democrats believe they are outwitting him.  He is outwitting them and beating them at their own game and unless some horrendous, unexpected calamity befalls him and the American people, by the time he comes up for reelection, he is going to win it hands down, folks, hands down.  The bulldozed, pulverized, railroaded Democrats will be scratching their noggins, wondering ‘what the f**k did this guy, a man we call mentally deranged do to us?  He has destroyed our party’ and poor Speaker Pelosi will be back in the minority in January 2021.

No matter what the Mexicans say, they are going to pay for the border wall, reabsorb millions of the illegals running amok in our country, and will clamp down on their southern border, twenty-times smaller than the one between our country and theirs, as otherwise, there could be an occurrence in Mexico we haven’t seen in a long, long time: a revolution.  My friends, Mexico has had some of the most violent upheavals in recorded history and it would be a shame if such an event were to befall them again.

What’s more…

Just the Facts: on November 6, we stand at the crossroads at midnight; in one direction we see light and a return to normalcy and a continued booming economy whereas in the other, we see nothing but darkness, pandemics, and moral decay

The way I see things, we stand at a crossroads at midnight.  In one direction, there is increased economic benefit for everyone in the coming light of day and in the other, there is more darkness in the form of governmental control, Big Brother watching over us, increased taxes and here in California, the imposition of a 75-cents per gallon gasoline tax that continues creeping up.

FALL SESSION 2018

BLOG POST #2,923 AT THE AICP-END

SIX DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2018

Election Day is almost here…what will YOU do?

Santa Barbara, CA, 11-01-2018 Thursday:  Well, today is the first day of November which means in six days, we are all going to go to the polling places, cast our votes, and seek to keep the momentum going.  Granted, I understand that there are some out there among the readership who cringe at some of the bombast that President Trump generates but how can we vote for Democrats who have nothing other than obstruction, contempt, and threats of impeachment to offer us?  It makes no sense to throw the President under the bus by voting in a bunch of petulant, snot-nosed, sobbing Democrats.

Here in the Golden State, the Dems so want to force us out of our personal cars and into public transportation ALL to save the environment, one that we’ve been told at least twice over the past 25 years or so was going to end in 10 years and then, lo and behold, here we are, on the threshold of yet another 10 yearsto-doom-cycle.

I drive a truck made in 1996 that is going to cost me almost $200 bucks to register at the DMV this year.  I remember back in 2000, somewhere back then that we recalled another Democratic governor, the erstwhile Gray Davis because he jacked up our DMV fees by an alarming rate and the people rebelled.

The Democrats NEVER know what to do with the money they have in their coffers other than to toss it down the twin ratholes of California high-speed rail and into state employees’ retirement and benefits plans such as CalPERS.

Moreover to fund these nightmarish obligations made to state workers, one in which they get almost their full pay for the rest of their lives when they retire after 20 years or so working for the state as well as lifelong benefits that the rest of us can only dream about, they seek to import illegal aliens into their Sanctuary State Pyramid Scheme.

Our state already is in deep trouble, deep fecal matter, some might say and in many places which liberals have long run such as San Francisco and other Bay Area liberal elitist enclaves in which two classes of citizens reside, the uber-wealthy and the ultra-poor, the crap abounds.

Oh, the Democrats proclaim they invite the homeless to live among them on the streets of the cities, where they defecate and urinate in on the sidewalks and in the doorways of businesses at will, inject intravenous drugs and smoke or snort others in broad daylight and in view of children walking to school.  This is paradise?

To fund this appalling return to barbarism at the low wages the BIG TECH employers offer, Democrats seek to bring in still more poor and impoverished people, refugees and migrants from Latin America, people who will never assimilate, who do not wish to assimilate, and who will one day bring about the downfall of not only the state but the entire country as history always repeats itself.

This is why the 2018 Mid-Term Elections are so important.  Do we want more of the same old, same old, or do we want to see life return to what it was, a bountiful state with industry and agriculture and energy production and away from the darkness the Democrats promise, a place where fresh water flows to farms and businesses instead of out to sea.  What is it going to take to turn their plans upside down?

Will it require a massive outbreak of cholera, typhus, and other massive outbreaks of deadly disease before the lookout on the SS California finally sees the iceberg dead ahead?  By that time, it is too late.  Ask the captain of the Titanic what he could and should have done to avoid going down with the ship.

On November 6, 2018, we are going to vote for John Cox, Republican for governor.  When it comes to lieutenant governor, we have but two choices and both of them are far-left Democrats: Ed Hernandez and Eleni Kounalakis.

Determining which of the two is more suitable depends on how you look at things.  Ms. Kounalakis is a hardcore liberal Democrat while Mr. Hernandez has owned and operated a business for a long, long time and if one must choose between someone claiming to be a businessperson and someone who is, I will choose the one with the business experience- even when it comes to Democrats.

For the very important position of California secretary of state, we must have someone we can trust who will tabulate elections fairly and then certify them honestly.  Therefore, we must vote for Republican Mark P. Meuser over Democrat Alex Padilla as we know the Dems have been working at winning as many state secretary of state positions and attorney general posts they can since losing in the 2000 Election recount.

Many say that George Soros, far—far-left, pro-fascist financier who floods the Democratic Party with vast pools of dark money is the chief architect behind this scheme of seizing the electoral processes and the chief law enforcement officers he can as these statewide positions can be extremely helpful when it comes to manipulating elections such as certifying big piles of ballots found in the trunks of parked cars at the last minute.

This is where we are going to leave it off for today, my friends, I hope that all of you will rejoin me tomorrow as we pick up where we left off for today as this election is ‘it.’  This is the one that is going to decide if we live in the light and enjoy the liberties our Founding Fathers bestowed upon us or will we move to the dark, where all manner of negative and bad things will pester us?

We are depending upon YOU to make the right choice.  See you tomorrow.

Wishbone Ash released its first official live release, the double LP, “Live Dates” on December 08, 1973.  The band performed music from throughout its career, turning in some sterling performances that made this a popular album back in the day (you know, when we here at the American Institute of Culinary Politics-Elemental News of the Day were young).  The lineup remained the same, featuring Martin Turner (bass/vocals), Ted Turner (guitars/vocals- no relation to Martin), Andy Powell (guitars/vocals), and Steve Upton (drums) although Ted Turner would forsake the band after its release.  For all who are lifelong fans or new ones, please, use the link we provide you here so you can redirect your browser to Amazon.com where you can get it in the format, the condition, and the price that works best for you.  You will be glad you did.

FEATURED ALBUM OF THE DAY:

On December 01, 1987, the Byrds released their next ‘best of’ compilation, “Never Before.”  This effort, one that every fan of the era and of the band should own, contains heretofore unreleased cuts, alternates, outtakes, and rarities from the original lineup.  This is a great introductory effort to one of the all-time greatest bands of the 1960s-1970s as well as a blast from the past for veteran listeners.  Please, use the link we provide you so you can redirect your browser to Amazon.com and once there, pick it up in the format, the condition, and the price that works best for you.

We continue offering CDs by the great New York band, the Velvet Underground. The band’s fourth album “Loaded” came out in 1970 and saw the band explode back with hard rocking, innovative sound, all of which, are the hallmark of the great Lou Reed.  Yes, some fans criticize it for its commerciality but what the hell, every artist, every group is entitled to go where both the music and the money directs them to go.  There are classic “Velvet” tunes here that fans, know, love, and enjoy, as will you, whether you are a first-timer or a lifelong fan. What more could one ask, we have Lou Reed fronting the group, Doug Yule doing the bass, additional vocals, and other instruments as well as Sterling Morrison (guitars, vocals), as well as a bevy of guest drummers since Maureen “Mo” Tucker was out on maternity leave.  J.J. Cale guested with the group on a few numbers, as well, so, it is an album worthy of your bucks.   You can buy this CD by visiting Amazon.com by using the link posted above and once there, you can get it in the format, the condition, and the price that is right for YOU.
