Currently, Joe is shy 183,514 deaths.
  68. 2021 Friday B: COVID-19 Statistics in the four states in which, the world-famous American Institute of Culinary Politics-the Elemental News of the Day employs chef-bloggers- California, Florida, Hawaii, and Washington- here are the stats, California first: 3,756,393 confirmed cases, 62,220 confirmed deaths, and 2,001,539 confirmed recoveries.  Moving on, here are the numbers for Florida: 2,262,598 confirmed cases, 35,644 confirmed deaths, and 1,836,489 confirmed recoveries.  Next here are the numbers for Hawaii: 33,036 confirmed cases, 486 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries (same as yesterday’s count).  Finally, here are the stats for Washington: 414,899 confirmed cases, 5,620 confirmed deaths, and 202,488 confirmed recoveries (same as yesterday’s recovery numbers).  Let us look at one other portion of the U.S., Puerto Rico, a place  the Democrats want to make our first welfare state: they have 253,302 confirmed cases, 2,355 confirmed deaths, and 112,074 confirmed recoveries.[x]
  69. 2021 Friday C: Now that Mo has relocated to Israel, let’s look at the statistics there: 838,858 confirmed cases, 6,375 confirmed deaths, and 831,432 confirmed recoveries (same as yesterday’s figures).   Let’s look at one non-country- Oman, a relatively peaceful Arab country: 199,344 cases of the virus, 2,083 confirmed deaths and 181,696 confirmed recoveries.[xi]
  70. 2021 Friday D:  Stock Market Closes/Precious And Rare Metals: DOW Jones Industrial Average: 34,777.76, UP 229.23 points (+0.66%).  Next, the NASDAQ: 13,752.24, UP 119.39 points (+0.88%).  Finally, here are the stats for the S&P 500: 4,232.60, UP 30.98 points (+0.74%).  The price of Light Sweet Crude Oil is $64.82 per barrel, -0.08 (-0.02%).  The price of GOLD is $1,832.00 per troy oz., +0.70 (+0.04%) while the price of SILVER is $27.57 per troy ounce, +0.09 (+0.32%).  The price of PLATINUM is $1,256.60 per troy oz, +2.10 (+0.17%) while the price of COPPER is $4.75 per pound, 0.00 (+0.01%).[xii]  The price of PALLADIUM is $2,926.51 per troy oz, -20.16 (-0.68%).[xiii] The price of RHODIUM is $28,900.00 per troy oz., -400.00 (-1.37%).[xiv]    Currently, Bitcoin, one U.S. greenback = 0.000017.  As for Chi-Com money, one-dollar U.S. = 6.43 Chinese yuan.  Meanwhile, one-dollar U.S. = 0.82 euros and in Mexican pesos equals 19.90.     In Pound Sterling, one greenback equals 0.72 and in Qatari Rial, a buck equals 3.68 and in Romanian Leu, one dollar equals 4.05 of theirs.[xv]     Elsewhere, in a MASSIVE blow to the Joe Biden regime, the economy added ONLY 266,000 jobs last month while Democrats were deliriously predicting 1,000,000 jobs or more.  Add to that unemployment going from 6.0-percent to 6.1-percent and it would appear that the BOGUS Biden regime ‘infrastructure bill’ is going to face stiffer opposition than expected.[xvi]
  71. 2021 Friday E: U.S. National Debt And Gasoline Prices In The Four States In Which We Have Chef-Authors– Thanks to the Biden administration, gasoline prices continue rising by the day- in California, gasoline prices have risen to over $4.086 per gallon, $2.882 in Florida, $3.820 in Hawaii, and $3.509 in Washington state.[xvii]    Let’s look at one other location- Ohio: $2.824.  We are going to do something else that could be fun- gasoline prices around the world going from cheapest to highest.  The next country on the list has the next lowest gasoline price in the world- Qatar: $1.923 per U.S. Gallon.[xviii]  Meanwhile, here is a snapshot of the U.S. National Debt for today: $28,260,030,025,130 and the Democrats are adding TRILLIONS of dollars to it, not BILLIONS but flipping TRILLIONS.[xix]  Cloward and Piven causing problems like they always do.
  72. 2021 Friday F: Joe Biden’s Border Catastrophe– After much public outcry, San Diego County, California (nod to Chef Pedro) is canceling a plan on establishing a large tent city in which to house massive numbers of illegal aliens.   (Note- it’s time to rekindle Operation Wetback, an operation that began in June 1954 to deport Mexican illegals back to their country en masse, load these people onto box cars, airliners, buses, even freighters, and sending them BACK to whence the f**k they came.  Now).   Next, Cuban-born U.S. Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas says that ‘permanent status is possible for the reunited families of illegal aliens the evil Trump regime separated.  Oh, goodie.   Former Rep. Peter King, R-NY 2nd congressional district, says that ‘amnesty and reparations will increase the numbers of illegals seeking to flood our country.’  Amen.
  73. 2021 Friday G: Foreign News / Overseas News– The U.S. Military is open to training troops from other countries (i.e., mercenaries) to assume our places in Afghanistan once we pull out of that horrible country.  Why can’t we just leave?  Although, here is something we have suggested over the years: WHY not create a U.S. Foreign Legion like the French have theirs?  All the military-aged illegal alien males we can train and send oversea to fight all the wars the Military-Industrial-Political Complex wants to fight.  IF the illegals survive 25 years in the ranks, they can become citizens but not their families, friends, neighbors, or anyone else.[xx]  In other news, Chi-Com hegemony in Africa may soon give them a naval base on the Atlantic.  Wow.  Not good.   Add to that a new report that says the Chi-Coms account for 27-percent of ALL greenhouse gases emitted on the planet.
  74. 2021 Friday H: COVID-19 Updates And Additional Information– Emma Green, an Atlantic writer, says that ‘progressives are clinging to COVID-19 restrictions and lockdowns despite what the science says’ (and we always thought progressives ‘listened to science, right?) because it empowers them.  It is amazing to think how many liberal Democrats (and occasional RINO) love the power they have deciding who gets to live their lives and who doesn’t.  They are all fascists at heart.[xxi]
  75. 2021 Friday I: Voting Integrity / Fraudulent And Stolen Election News–  Rep. Chip Roy, R-TX 21st congressional district, is urging the Lone Star State to pass an election integrity law.  In fact, hours after debating, the Texas House of Representatives is advancing a voter integrity bill.  Next the Honest Elections Project says 77-percent of Americans- including 73-percent of black Americans- want voter ID.  So, give it to us and NOT this H.R. 1 and S.R. 1 bulls**t.   In other election news, Maricopa County, Arizona, Democrats WON’T hand over the routers used in the 2020 Elections to the state Senate investigation into election integrity.  What is up with that?   (Note- the Arizona Senate reassured the feds that election audit security is extremely high so DON’T worry).
  76. 2021 Friday J: Joe Biden Regime News I–  Biden regime hacks didn’t truly celebrate the National Day of Prayer but when bumbling old Joe Biden made a remark or two, the so-called ‘devout Catholic’ could not mention the name of God.  WTF?  In other Biden regime news, Republican senators OPPOSE a Biden regime plan with which to grant amnesty to American scientific researchers who didn’t disclose they were in bed with the Chi-Coms or other adversarial nations.  No, these scumbags should be doing time in federal prisons.   Meanwhile, we learn today that the NEXT White House Press Secretary could be a member of the LGBTQIA+ community.  Whoa.  So much for picking people based on qualifications, not what’s between their legs or the sort of sex they like.  Our money’s on a tranny.[xxii]  Finally, a Florida Atlantic University Business and Economics Polling Initiative Poll says that ‘Florida has not warmed up to “Pro-China Joe” Biden as much as Democrats were hoping.  We doubt that state ever will.
  77. 2021 Friday K: Political News I–  Rep. Jim Jordan, R-OH 4th congressional district, says ‘the votes are there to strip Rep. Liz Cheney, RINO-WY, of her leadership position.  Boot her ass out NOW.  If she becomes a Democrat, big flipping deal.  Next, Governor Brian Kemp, RINO-GA, is signing a bill that will prohibit ALL efforts at defunding the police within their state.  Speaking of the Peach State, Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms- once a rising star in the Democratic Party- announced that she won’t be running for a second term…that star has imploded and now is a black hole…[xxiii]
  78. 2021 Friday L: Miscellaneous News I– The U.S. Army is going to allow female personnel to wear ponytails in all uniforms.  Wow.  Big news. Next, the feds have indicted convicted Minneapolis Police Officer Derek Chauvin and his three fellow officers who have not yet even gone on trial on civil rights charges.  Wow.  So much for double jeopardy, folks.  How many bites of the apple do the feds plan to take?  Moving on, California reports its first ever population decline as people are fleeing the state like it’s a hooker with facial herpes.   Finally, it now appears that President Donald J. Trump has an iron-fisted grip on the Republican Party.  Good.  IT is his and the America First Crowd’s Party.  Period.
  79. 2021 Friday M: California Lottery Results / Mega-Millions Draw– Here are the numbers for the Mega-Millions Draw #1657 with a $370 million jackpot on the line: 05, 10. 19, 21, 50, and Mega 10.  Out of 151,903 winning tickets, the highest winners were SIX people who had FOUR numbers plus the Mega for a prize of $6,090 apiece.

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

The tertiary effort by the Band- “Stage Fright” came out on August 17, 1970 and was a wonderful addition to the band’s growing discography.  Once again, the band featured the lineup of Rick Danko (bass, vocals, and fiddle), Robbie Robertson (guitars and vocals), Levon Helm (drums, percussion, vocals, mandolins, and tambourines), Richard Manuel (pianos, organs, and vocals), and Garth Hudson (keyboards and saxophones).   The album contained two big hits- the title track and “The Shape I’m In.”  What we have for you today is the “Stage Fright 50th Anniversary Edition” (where the hell does the time go?), a deluxe version that came out on December 16, 2020.  We hope you will seek this one out and consider adding it to your collection as there’s nothing better than this glorious group.  Ask anyone who’s seen them in their heyday, and you will understand just how legendary and amazing they were.  You will love them just as we do.  Enjoy.

[ii] We promoted the music of Big Brother and the Holding Company, beginning on Monday, 18-July-2011 through Tuesday, 26-July-2011.  At the time, we were not farsighted enough to offer the music of Janis Joplin but hope to do so at some point in the near future when we return to promoting the music of American rock bands.

[iii] We promoted the music of the Keef Hartley Band as well as of one of its integral members Miller Anderson on Monday, 02-October-2017 through Saturday, 21-October-2017.  We hope you will check their music out by visiting those posts.

[iv] We definitely look forward to presenting the music of Joe Cocker, the famed British ex-bricklayer who blew the minds of the world at the 1969 Woodstock Music and Arts Festival.  Please stay tuned for further developments.

[v] Martin Windrow’s superb book, “The Last Valley,” Da Capo Press, 2006 is an amazing helpmate for information on this famed battle.  Seek it out.

[vi] We promoted the music of the Jefferson Airplane beginning on Tuesday, 05-April-2011 through Sunday, 22-May-2011.  This presentation included the Jefferson Starship, too, of which, the artist was NOT a member.

[vii] We offered the music of the legendary Pacific Gas & Electric beginning on Thursday, 12-January-2012 through Sunday, 15-January-2012.  We hope you will seek out the music by this famous, interracial hippie rock band.

Chris Stevens and three other brave Americans.  In addition to this attack, thugs and scum also attacked the embassy in Cairo, Egypt.  Calls to Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton for aid went unanswered.
  50. 2013 Wednesday: France drafts a resolution on this date, which allows the Syrian government–under the control of Bashar al-Assad–can turn over its stockpiles of chemical weapons to the world community for it to destroy.  Meanwhile, the UN receives purported use of chemical weapons by the Syria militants against their own people—the news comes from Russia.

  53. 2016 Sunday:  Word leaks that Democratic 2016 presidential nominee will miss an event commemorating the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, due to a bout with chronic pneumonia.  Meanwhile, the Wall Street Journal reports that worldwide oil prices are dropping as U.S. oil rig numbers continue increasing.  Oil prices always drop prior to elections because politicians who hate fossil fuels always want the prices lower, so the average citizen does not associate them with high oil prices.
  54. 2017 Monday: In the Catalan city of Barcelona, Spain, one million Catalonians take to the streets on the state’s national holiday demanding secession from the parent country.  Things would not work out for them in the long run.  Still, the independence movement gave it a good shot.  Meanwhile, as Hurricane Irma begins moving up the coast, 7 million homes in Georgia and Texas find themselves without power and in varying degrees of distress.
  55. 2018 Tuesday: Near Hajin, in eastern Syria, U.S. backed Syrian troops begin the final assault on the final ISIS stronghold in the war-torn country, something that would never have occurred under a President Hillary Rodham Clinton but most certainly did under President Donald J. Trump.  Light ‘em up, boys!  Meanwhile in Asiatic Russia, the Russian military commences joint military exercises with communist China, putting more than 300,000 troops in the field, their largest such endeavor since the early 1980s.  They are trying to send President Trump a message: Look at us- we’re bad.
  56. 2019 Wednesday: As usual, Palestinians are running amok after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu promises that should he win next week’s snap election, he will annex one-third of the West Bank.  The Palestinians bellow that ‘this would be tantamount to a war crime.’  Look you dimwits, you are better off with the Israelis in charge than you are with Hezbollah and Hamas and the rest of the jihadi groups.  Give it a rest.  Elsewhere, it’s official: two Trump-backed Republicans in North Carolina win two special elections, elections that occurred the prior day.  Dan Bishop won the 9th Congressional District sending Democrats spinning because they honestly thought they stood a chance in a state they claim is becoming BLUE.  In the 3rd Congressional District, Greg Murphy won that race, beating another favored Democrat.  Wow.
  57. 2020 Friday: The TV ratings are in for last night’s opening game in the NFL- the Kansas City Chiefs v. the Houston Texans- had a ratings view of 16.4-percent less than last year’s opening day.  What we will say is that we here at the AICPENDBLOG.COM have sworn off the NFL until (1) they fire Roger Goodell and (2) come back to their senses.  IF players want to protest- which is their God-given right- do it on your off time and put your own money where your mouths are.  Otherwise, STFU you spoiled rotten sniveling bastards.  Meanwhile, the White House announces that the kingdom of Bahrain will also make peace with Israel which drives the Palestinian trash into a foaming-at-the-mouth frenzy once again.  Hey, PLO- make peace with Israel and STFU!  Also, at the White House today, President Donald J. Trump awards the Congressional Medal of Honor to U.S. Army Ranger Sgt. Maj. Thomas Payne for heroic actions in Iraq in 2015.  The unit in which Sgt. Maj. Payne served went to free approximately 70-75 Kurdish hostages being held by ISIS fecal matter.  He helped rescue many of them and would not leave the field of battle even though one building in which, hostages were being held was ablaze and collapsing all around him.  In the action, he helped kill 20 of the ISIS thugs.  Congratulations, Sgt. Maj. Payne!
  58. 2020 Friday A: New York City business leaders sign a letter to Mayor Bill Di Blasio demanding he address the ‘deteriorating conditions in the Big Apple,’ the rising crime rates, the burnt out and destroyed businesses, the dying restaurants, and bars.  Mayor Di Blasio and his colleague, Governor Andrew “I’m a Moron” Cuomo together have destroyed one of the great states and cities of the country.  Time to recall both of them.  Elsewhere, the city of Austin, Texas, slashes its police department of one-third of its annual budget- $150 million- which leads law enforcement to erect billboards outside the city warning travelers to ‘enter at your own risk.’  The murder rate in Austin is up 63-percent this year alone.  What the hell is going on in the country?
  59. 2020 Friday B:  Big news continues to come out as to HOW the Trump-Russia Collusion investigation led by senile Special Counsel Robert S. Mueller III and his team that wiped their phones used in the investigation so as to coverup the real crimes here- the vilification and attempted destruction of a duly elected president by members of the Obama administration- including the BIG GUY himself, perhaps- so the world awaits further information.  It would appear that Andrew Weissmann, the alleged top dog who ran this phony investigation ordered his cronies to bleach as much information as they could before it fell into the hands of the U.S. Justice Department.
  60. 2020 Friday C: Folks, here are the numbers for the Xi Jinping Bat Flu- Pelosi Pox:  Here are the statistics for the planet as a whole: 28,268,970 confirmed cases, +335,582, 911,282, confirmed deaths, +6,101, and 19,048,042 confirmed recoveries, +228,654.  Next, here are the stats for the United States, the intended target of the Chinese-engineered Wuhan Virus pandemic: 6,528,415 confirmed cases, up 57,197 from yesterday’s reporting, 195,789 confirmed deaths, UP 1,422, and 3,535,289 confirmed recoveries, UP 22,799.  Next, in the three states in which, the world-famous American Institute of Culinary Politics-the Elemental News of the Day employs chef-bloggers- California, Hawaii, and Washington- here are the stats, California first: 754,461 confirmed cases, 14,143 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Next here are the numbers for Hawaii: 10,292 confirmed cases, 94 confirmed deaths, and 3,176 confirmed recoveries.  Finally, here are the stats for leftist-Marxist-socialist hellhole of Washington: 82,264 confirmed cases, 2,074 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Let’s look at one other state: Maine- currently, they have 4,792 confirmed cases, 134 confirmed deaths, and 4,191 confirmed recoveries- thank you, Governor Janet Mills for your state’s honesty in this regard- pretty amazing for a Democrat, perhaps California and Washington state could follow suit.

  62. 2020 Friday E: Wildfires continue raging across the western states what with California beset by numerous fires. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi says, ‘God is mad at the people’ and that ‘climate change and global warming’ are responsible for the state’s woes.  People are dying and Governor Gavin “The Smiler” Newsom (ever notice how hate-filled people always smile before they say ugly stuff like Newsom, Ilhan Omar, and other scumbags) among others who says he has ‘no patience for climate change deniers.’  Look moron, instead of funneling every dime into CalPERS and other state-funded retirement programs for state employees, why not do some of the necessary forestry management such as clear-cutting, removing dead undergrowth, allowing timber companies to responsibly harvest and replant, and engaging in the various water transportation and catchment systems that made our state great?  What a bunch of losers, we hope San Francisco is blown off the map by an angry God.

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

Over the course of Jethro Tull’s lengthy lifespan, Jethro Tull has delivered loads of performances, most of which have ended up in bootleg form over the decades.  Today, we have “Midnight in Chicago,” (January 16, 2021), that presents one famed live show for the fans.  The band features  Ian Anderson (vocals, flutes, guitars, keyboards), Martin Barre (guitars), Jeffrey Hammond (bass and keyboards), John Evan (keyboards), and Clive Bunker (drums).  If you want to hear the band during its rise to popularity, this is a good album with which to do it.  We hope you will seek this one out and consider adding it to your collection- you will be glad you did.

[i] We began promoting the music of the Grateful Dead- including Jerry Garcia, Bob Weir, Mickey Hart, and Phil Lesh- beginning on Tuesday, 30-August-2011 through Wednesday, 11-January-2012.  Then, we did a second series featuring more albums by this fabled San Francisco band beginning on Friday, 09-August-2013 through Monday, 19-August-2013.  At some point, we will have to do a third series as the music from this band never ends.  Please, seek them out and consider adding them to your collection.

[ii] Not clear as to when we present the music of the Fairport Convention and of Richard Thompson, their famed guitarist but we sure as heck hope we do within the next decade.

[iii] We shared the music of the Rolling Stones (and the group’s individual members) beginning Tuesday, 22-March-2016 through Sunday, 28-August-2016.  This included the members solo projects. Of course, thanks to that Beijing-loving Sundar Pichai, you cannot see the original posts at Google Blogger because HE WON’T ALLOW IT!  Deport this POS now.

At the secondary blog, we began promoting the music of this famed British band as well as of Bryan Ferry, Andy Mackay, and Phil Manzanera beginning on Wednesday, September 07, 2016, through several successive months.  We hope you will seek them out.

CCC.

  52. 2016 Sunday:  Word leaks that Democratic 2016 presidential nominee will miss an event commemorating the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, due to a bout with chronic pneumonia.  Meanwhile, the Wall Street Journal reports that worldwide oil prices are dropping as U.S. oil rig numbers continue increasing.  Oil prices always drop prior to elections because politicians who hate fossil fuels always want the prices lower so the average citizen does not associate them with high oil prices.
  53. 2017 Monday: In the Catalan city of Barcelona, Spain, one million Catalonians take to the streets on the state’s national holiday demanding secession from the parent country.  Things would not work out for them in the long run.  Still, the independence movement gave it a good shot.  Meanwhile, as Hurricane Irma begins moving up the coast, 7 million homes in Georgia and Texas find themselves without power and in varying degrees of distress.
  54. 2018 Tuesday: Near Hajin, in eastern Syria, U.S. backed Syrian troops begin the final assault on the final ISIS stronghold in the war-torn country, something that would never have occurred under a President Hillary Rodham Clinton but most certainly did under President Donald J.
  55. 2019 Wednesday: As usual, Palestinians are running amok after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu promises that should he win next week’s snap election, he will annex one-third of the West Bank. Wow.
  56. 2020 Friday: The TV ratings are in for last night’s opening game in the NFL- the Kansas City Chiefs v. the Houston Texans- had a ratings view of 16.4-percent less than last year’s opening day. Also at the White House today, President Donald J. Maj. Payne!
  57. 2020 Friday A: New York City business leaders sign a letter to Mayor Bill Di Blasio demanding he address the ‘deteriorating conditions in the Big Apple,’ the rising crime rates, the burnt out and destroyed businesses, the dying restaurants, and bars.
  58. 2020 Friday B:  Big news continues to come out as to HOW the Trump-Russia Collusion investigation led by senile Special Counsel Robert S. Mueller III and his team that wiped their phones used in the investigation so as to coverup the real crimes here- the vilification and attempted destruction of a duly-elected president by members of the Obama administration- including the BIG GUY himself, perhaps- so the world awaits further information.  It would appear that Andrew Weissmann, the alleged top dog who ran this phony investigation ordered his cronies to bleach as much information as they could before it fell into the hands of the U.S. Justice Department.

  61. 2020 Friday E: Wildfires continue raging across the western states what with California beset by numerous fires. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi says ‘God is mad at the people’ and that ‘climate change and global warming’ are responsible for the state’s woes.

Electric Light Orchestra released their next biggest seller yet, “Time,” on July 19, 1981.  The album was somewhat a change in direction featuring the lineup of Jeff Lynne (vocals, guitars, synthesizers), Bev Bevin (drums/percussion), Richard Tandy (keyboards, guitars, backing vocals), and Kelly Groucutt (bass, backing vocals).  This is a concept album dealing with a man from the 1980s suddenly transported to 2095.   Folks, this is a superb addition to the group’s growing discography, one we hope you will beat the bushes searching for as it contains some glitzy tunes such as “Hold on Tight” and “The Way Life’s Meant to Be.”  Tremendous music by one of the all-time best bands of the era.

FOOTNOTES:

[iv] We presented the music of Roxy Music at the secondary blog and hope to do it at the main blog sometime within the next 3 years. At the secondary blog, we began promoting the music of this famed British band as well as of Bryan Ferry, Andy Mackay, and Phil Manzanera beginning on Wednesday, September 07, 2016 through several successive months.  We hope you will seek them out.
