Barkley; U.S. Supreme Court Associate Justice John Archibald Campbell; U.S. Attorneys General Homer Stille Cummings and Richard Kleindienst; Second Fuhrer and Grand Admiral Karl Dönitz; Nazi Foreign Minister Joaquim Von Ribbentrop; the Association featuring Larry Ramos, Muddy Waters, and Nazareth featuring Darrell Sweet:

  9. 1857 Thursday: San Jose State University begins forming.
  10. 1861 Tuesday: At the outset of the American Civil War, President Abraham Lincoln orders the evacuation of Indian Territory by Federal troops.  Elsewhere, the nation’s 33rd U.S. Supreme Court Associate Justice John Archibald Campbell left office on this date.  A Democrat, President Franklin Pierce nominated Campbell to fill the seat of Associate Justice John McKinley.  Campbell served from March 22, 1853 until today.
  11. 1863 Thursday: In Mexico, as the French regime of Maximillian is under assault, at Camerone, the foundation for the French Foreign Legion’s most distinguished holiday occurs at a battered farmhouse.  Three officers- led by a captain with a wooden hand- and 63 rankers- held out against a howling mob of more than 2,000 Mexicans.  All day, the sun baked the ramshackle building that was becoming as porous as a kitchen sieve with all the flying lead plowing through it witnessed the deaths of most of the defenders until late in the day, the remaining five Legionnaires made the grim decision: to fix bayonets, fire their last round, and then charge out at the screeching mad attackers.  So they did, they charged out, went into Legion history for all time, and the Mexicans were so surprised that the lives of the three survivors.
  12. 1864 Saturday: New York becomes the first state to issue and to charge for a hunting license.
  13. 1870 Saturday: Future 55th U.S. Attorney General Homer Stille Cummings is born in Chicago, Illinois, on this date.  A future Democrat, he would serve under President Franklin Delano Roosevelt from March 04, 1933 to January 02, 1939.

  15. 1889 Tuesday: The inauguration of George Washington became the first national holiday in the United States.
  16. 1893 Sunday: In Wesel, Germany, future Nazi Foreign Minister Joaquim Von Ribbentrop is born.  He would serve in this capacity from 1938 to 1945.  He would be executed following the Nuremburg War Crimes Trials following the war.
  17. 1900 Monday: Engineer John Luther “Casey” Jones of the Illinois Central Railroad died in a train wreck near Vaughan, Mississippi, after staying at the controls in a successful effort to save the passengers.  Meanwhile, the United States annexes the Hawaiian Islands.
  18. 1904 Saturday: The ice cream cone makes its debut.
  19. 1915 Friday: The German army gears back up for another go at the Allies during the Second Battle of Ypres.  Advancing from St. Julien, the French and British soldiers are able to impede their progress.  Meanwhile, on the Eastern Front, the Germans continue pushing east through the Baltic states routing the Russian army as they go.
  20. 1916 Sunday: Fighting in Dublin, Ireland, ends as more than 700 rebels lay down their arms to the British occupiers.  Elsewhere, the Allies continue trying to bring the German colonial forces to a decisive battle and a column crossing over from the Belgian Congo reaches Lake Victoria where they hope to trap the Germans between them and South African forces.
  21. 1918 Tuesday: British forces in the Middle East continue rolling up the Ottoman Turks.  The Ottoman Empire was a crumbling entity, long known as the “Sick Man of Europe” because it was a jaded, hollow empire just awaiting the right set of circumstances to bring about its collapse.   That collapse was coming.
  22. 1921 Saturday: In Akron, Ohio, the American Professional Football Association forms.
  23. 1930 Wednesday: The Soviet Union proposed a military alliance with Great Britain and France.
  24. 1938 Saturday: A precursor to the cartoon character, Bugs Bunny, first appeared in the Warner Brothers animated short, “Porky’s Hare Hunt.”
  25. 1939 Sunday: The New York World’s Fair officially opened with a ceremony that included an address by President Franklin Delano Roosevelt.  Meanwhile, Lou Gehrig played his final game with the New York Yankees.
  26. 1940 Tuesday: State boxing officials in California licensed Belle Martell as the United States’ first female prizefight referee.  Elsewhere, following on the heels of the evacuation of Norway’s King Haakon, British troops begin preparing for evacuation themselves.  It is clear who is going to win this fight and it’s not going to be the French and British but the Nazis.
  27. 1941 Wednesday: The Afrika Korps gears up for yet another assault on the port of Tobruk with heavy bombing attacks by bombers and dive bombers.  The general leading this assault is Friedrich von Paulus, who would end up being transferred to the attack on the Soviet Union and would become the losing commander at Stalingrad.
  28. 1942 Thursday: The Japanese naval fleet consisting of three aircraft carriers and support ships is leaving the big naval base at Truk and proceeding to Port Moresby in New Guinea for the big invasion that is coming.  The Imperial Japanese are determined to strangle the sea lanes to Australia and New Zealand.
  29. 1943 Friday: The Nazi extermination camp, Bergen-Belsen, begins construction.  Elsewhere, in London, the Free Polish Government is in a quandary what with the demand for Swiss Red Cross to investigate the Katyn Forest Massacre because if they continue pushing it, the Soviets are going to cut them out of the future of Poland (which they do anyway).
  30. 1944 Sunday: U.S. Navy warplanes continue attacking Truk and destroying loads of Japanese warplanes.  Due to severe losses among veteran pilots, the Japanese are rushing poorly trained pilots into the fight which shows the desperation afflicting them.  Surrender?  No way in hell.
  31. 1945 Monday: As Russian troops approached his Berlin Bunker, Adolf Hitler committed suicide along with his wife of one day, Eva Braun.  His successor, Grand Admiral Karl Dönitz assumed power on this date and in this capacity served under his surrender to the Allies on 05-23-1945. Still the fight rages within the city and in other parts of Czechoslovakia where Germans still hold land.  The fight is fierce because the German military now seeks to keep open ‘tunnels’ through which retreating comrades can reach the West and surrender to the American, British, and French allies and not to the Soviets.  Meanwhile, Arthur Godfrey began his CBS radio morning show, “Arthur Godfrey Time.”  It ran until this day in 1972.
  32. 1947 Wednesday: The federal government changed the name of the Boulder Dam back to the Hoover Dam.
  33. 1952 Wednesday: The first toy advertised on television is Mr. Potato Head.
  34. 1954 Friday: At Dien Bien Phu, the weather clears which is joyous news for the French Foreign Legionnaires’ feast day, the Day of Camerone when they commemorate the Legion’s history and their lost comrades.  American air crews return to flying in supplies during the daytime as well as dropping in reinforcements while fighter planes are able to attack one AA battery position after another.   Among the most important supplies dropped to the French troops was a strange gelatinous wine-substance that when combined with water became a drinkable wine.  Called vinogel, French troops kept their eyes on it all day as it lay in crates between their lines and then at night launched sorties out into No-Man’s Land to retrieve as much of it as possible as well as killing as many communists as possible.  The retrieval of a 16-year-old recently drafted into the People’s Army gave the defenders hope as he had no clue as to what unit he was in or what he was supposed to do.[i]
  35. 1956 Monday: The former 35th vice president of the United States (served January 20, 1949-to-January 20, 1953) Alben W. Barkley, died at age 78 in Lexington, Virginia, on this date.  A Democrat, he served under President Harry S. Truman.

  61. 2008 Wednesday: The Federal Reserve slashes interest rates by one-quarter percent to 2-percent.  Not good for investors and people with retirement plans.
  62. 2009 Thursday: Chrysler files for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.  Meanwhile, thanks to the ongoing H1N1 swine flu pandemic from communist China, Mexican President Felipe Calderon issues a partial economic shutdown for five days; you know- to flatten the curve.  Elsewhere, the United Kingdom says ‘enough to combat operations in the Iraq War and that it will begin pulling its combat troops out and bring them home.  Wish ours came home, too.
  63. 2010 Friday: The Deepwater Horizon oil spill reaches the Louisiana coast; weather officials predict that harsh weather will impede cleanup efforts.  Governor Bobby Jindal, Republican, had been begging for aid from the Obama administration but none was forthcoming until the first black waves began rolling across the beach.  By then, it was too late, fisheries destroyed, shrimp and crab-catcher fleets ruined for years to come.  Why?  Many suspect it’s because the Obama-Biden administration sought to vilify oil and natural gas so the American people would condemn fossil fuels.  Thankfully, it didn’t work.
  64. 2011 Saturday: As the Libyan civil war continues to rage, Libyan leader Moammar Gaddafi says he is ‘willing to enter into a ceasefire but BOTH sides must agree to it, not just his side.’  Sadly for the Libyan leader, his youngest son, Saif al-Arab Gaddafi and three of his children are killed in a NATO airstrike.  How did we end up fighting in this war?
  65. 2012 Monday: After Chen Guangcheng flees house arrest, U.S. President Barack Obama refuses to comment on the blind Chinese dissident who—according to reports—went to the U.S. embassy.  Meanwhile, One World Trade Center became the tallest structure in New York when it surpassed the height of the Empire State Building.
  66. 2013 Tuesday: Apple, Inc. initiates the largest-ever non-bank bond offering at $17 billion.  Elsewhere, jihadists do what they do best and that is, they carry out a bombing on an unsuspecting population.  Today, in Damascus, Syria, they set off a bomb that blows 13 people to kingdom come while living many more wishing they had gone with them.  Horrible flipping people.
  67. 2014 Wednesday: In Clarkston, Washington, Larry Ramos—guitarist/vocalist with the Association[iii]—lost his battle with skin cancer on this date; he was 72 years-old.  Meanwhile, the Yemeni army has lost at least 30 people in ongoing battles with al-Qaida thugs.   Elsewhere, the Sultan of Brunei has announced the new institution of laws that would make Islamic law supreme what with floggings, amputations, and stoning of guilty folks.  We won’t be visiting there anytime soon.
  68. 2015 Thursday: U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders, I-Vermont, announces his bid to seek the Democratic Party’s 2016 presidential nomination.  Elsewhere, following the seizure of a Danish-owned tanker by the Iranians, the U.S. Navy says it will escort American-flagged ships through the Strait of Hormuz to prevent further such criminal actions.
  69. 2016 Saturday: The Italian coast guard is plying the waters off the coast of Libya.  A migrant raft jam-packed with Muslim refugees began floundering with the loss of at least 70 people and only 26 or 27 people rescued.  Elsewhere, a heatwave in India continues claiming lives with 300 people so far succumbing to record temperatures.  If only these poor people had air-conditioning; then again, environmentalists HATE air-conditioning, believing it WRECKS the environment.  Dumb asses.
  70. 2017 Sunday: At a pool party in San Diego, California, a pool party goes up in smoke as a shooter kills one person outright, wounds another seven and then is shot and killed by the police.  Elsewhere, budget negotiators in Congress come to a bipartisan agreement on the budget for FY 2017.  The deal will fund the federal government through September 30 while the current budget expires on May 05.
  71. 2018 Monday: Marvel’s “Avengers: Infinity War” sets new opening weekend box office record raking in $250 million in the United States and another $630 million around the planet.  Meanwhile, in Baghdad, the criminal court sentences a load of women from several different countries to life in prison for purportedly belonging to ISIS.  The tally included 19 Russians, six Azerbaijani, and four Tajikistani women.  Life is going to be rough for them.
  72. 2019 Tuesday: Japan’s Emperor Akihito announces he is stepping down at an abdication ceremony in Tokyo, effective the following day.  Naruhito will be the new emperor.   Elsewhere, Canada expresses its outrage over the second of its citizens condemned to death in the People’s Republic of China this year.  Fan Wei received the sentence for his supposed production of and transportation of methamphetamine.  Prime Minister Justin Trudeau expresses his anger while pleading for clemency.
  73. 2020 Thursday: Thanks to the Kung Flu trashing the United States, another 3.6 million unemployment claims pushes total unemployment numbers for Americans over 30 million.  AND the Chinese find offense in the growing world anger directed towards them!  Millions of people around the world now believe that COVID-19 was something deliberately released onto the world following Beijing being forced to sign the new U.S.-China Trade Accord.  We shall see.  Current numbers for the Wuhan Virus Crisis Pandemic for the world rest at 3,249,022 confirmed cases what with 230,804 confirmed deaths but 1,006,112 confirmed recoveries.  Meanwhile, in the United States, confirmed cases rest at 1,079,780, confirmed deaths stand at 62,603 but confirmed recoveries are 127,950.  Additionally, more states are beginning to release restrictions and businesses are beginning to reopen.  However, in California, Gov. Gavin Newsom issues a new order today in which all beaches along the state’s enormous coastline are now closed.   (Gavin, if you close the beaches, we will go to the mountains, the lakes, the forests, even the deserts to disobey your authoritarian orders).  In addition to this, we now know that Gov. Newsom is spending $1 billion in communist China to purchase (shoddy) PPE items for the state.  F**king China lover.
  74. 2021 Friday:  you know the drill…

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

We said it before and we’ll say it again: Michael Schenker is always on a musical quest much like Carlos Santana and he always puts together good groups with which to get his musical talents across to his millions of fans.  “Resurrection” came out under the moniker “Michael Schenker Fest” on July 04, 2019.  The band featured an amalgam of his musical friends including vocalist Graham Bonnet, Gary Barden, Robin McAuley, and Doogie White plus his usual rhythm section adding the power punch that this mad axman requires to light stages ablaze and melt the minds of his beloved fans.  We hope you will seek this one out and consider adding it to your ever-growing collection; you will be glad you did.

109. TODAY IN HISTORY—MONDAY, APRIL 19, 2021

SS. 1993 Monday: The 51-day siege at the Branch Davidian compound in Waco, Texas, ended as fire destroyed the structure after federal agents began smashing their way in; dozens of people, including cult leader David Koresh, lost their lives in the conflagration. This date marked the first time in American history in which the government of the United States used tanks and other military hardware against American citizens and neither President Bill Clinton nor his attorney general, Janet Reno, has had to answer for this monstrous crime.

  68. 2021 Monday C: Now that Mo has relocated to Israel, let’s look at the statistics there: 837,047 confirmed cases, 6,335 confirmed deaths, and 828,488 confirmed recoveries.   Let’s look at one non-country- Dominican Republic, a place where horrible attacks on U.S. tourists seem to occur with shocking regularity: 261,129 cases of the virus, 3,418 confirmed deaths and 218,724 confirmed recoveries.[xi]
  69. 2021 Monday D:   STOCK MARKET CLOSES/PRECIOUS AND RARE METALS: DOW Jones Industrial Average: 34,077.63, DOWN 123.04 points (-0.36%).  Next, the NASDAQ: 13,914.76, DOWN 137.58 points (-0.98%).  Finally, here are the stats for the S&P 500: 4,163.06, DOWN 22.21 points (-0.53%).  The price of Light Sweet Crude Oil is $63.59 per barrel, +0.17 (+0.27%).  The price of GOLD is $1,770.80 per troy oz., +0.20 (+0.01%) while the price of SILVER is $25.86 per troy ounce, +0.02 (+0.09%).  The price of PLATINUM is $1,211.70 per troy oz, +5.20 (+0.43%) while the price of COPPER is $4.24 per pound, -0.00 (-0.01%).[xii]  The price of PALLADIUM is $2,797.85 per troy oz, +20.35 (+0.73%).[xiii] The price of RHODIUM is $29,000.00 per troy oz., +400.00 (+1.40%).[xiv]    Currently, Bitcoin, one U.S. greenback = 0.000018.  As for Chi-Com money, one-dollar U.S. = 6.51 Chinese yuan.  Meanwhile, one-dollar U.S. = 0.83 euros and in Mexican pesos equals 19.82.     In Hong Kong dollar, one greenback equals 7.77 and in Hungarian Forint, a buck equals 299.57.[xv]
  70. 2021 Monday E: U.S. NATIONAL DEBT AND GASOLINE PRICES IN THE THREE STATES IN WHICH WE HAVE CHEF-AUTHORS- Thanks to the Biden administration, gasoline prices continue rising by the day- in California, gasoline prices have risen to over $3.971 per gallon, $2.822 in Florida, $3.734 in Hawaii, and $3.374 in Washington state.[xvi]    Let’s look at one other location- Kentucky: $2.734.  Meanwhile, here is a snapshot of the U.S. National Debt for today: $28,190,082,334,572 and the Democrats are adding TRILLIONS of dollars to it, not BILLIONS but flipping TRILLIONS.[xvii]  Cloward and Piven causing problems like they always do.
  71. 2021 Monday F: MISCELLANEOUS NEWS I- Governor Ron DeSantis,[xviii] R-FL, signs the most pro-law enforcement bill on the books and also has consequences for violent rioters.  God bless you, sir!  Next, a poll in New York state says that ’54-percent of the voters view Governor Andrew “Killer” Cuomo, aka the Love Go, aka the Gropin’ Gov, with disdain.  Another poll tried to say the voters would vote for this POS again but no one believes that.  Speaking of the Empire State, a judge rules that the case, N.Y. v. Amazon will remain at the state level and not move up the chain to the federal level.   In other interesting “Killer” Cuomo news, N.Y. Attorney General Leticia James may be ‘reviewing’ the erstwhile governor’s autobiographical ‘novel’ of the great job he did during the Chinese Virus pandemic, the one in which, he consigned tens of thousands of New York’s elderly and ill to their deaths.
  72. 2021 Monday G: MISCELLANEOUS NEWS II- The Texas House of Representatives okays a bill dropping permits to open-carry firearms in the state.  Speaking of the Lone Star State, the former Austin Police Department detective sought in the shooting deaths of three people yesterday has been scooped up in police custody.   Next, President Donald J. Trump advises decrepit Joe Biden NOT to withdraw U.S. troops from Afghanistan on the symbolic date of September 11, 2021, the 20-year-anniversary of the Islamist attack on New York City, on the Pentagon, and on a field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania.  Will old drooling Joe Biden listen to the sage advice?  Most likely not.
  73. 2021 Monday H: MISCELLANEOUS NEWS III- Elsewhere, Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-GA 14th congressional district, is putting forth a bill demanding the expulsion of lunatic Congresswoman Maxine “Prune Face” Waters, DS-CA 43rd congressional district, over her visit to Minnesota over the weekend to encourage VIOLENCE no matter the outcome of the murder trial of Officer Derek Chauvin.  House Speaker Nancy “Mumbles” Pelosi, DS-CA 12th congressional district, is standing by her fellow octogenarian by saying, “She did nothing wrong.”  Both of these imbeciles must be voted out of office or impeached and removed.   In the case of “Prune Face” Waters, she should be doing time prison.  (Dr. Alan Dershowitz says that ‘Maxine Waters singlehandedly may have caused a mistrial due to her careless words.’[xix]   In other news, as the deathwatch of Putin critic Alexei Navalny begins, Joe Biden begins uttering some incoherent words in defense of the imprisoned freedom fighter.
  74. 2021 Monday I: MISCELLANEOUS NEWS IV- Congressman Steve Stivers, R-OH 15th congressional district is resigning his seat to head his state’s Chamber of Commerce.   Next, a Jewish coalition may expel the Zionists of America for them being critical of radical anti-Semite scum such as Congresswomen Rashida “Foul Mouth” Tlaib, DS-MI 13th congressional district, and Ilhan “Allah Akbar” Omar, DS-MN 5th congressional district, by calling them out for their anti-Israel bigotry.  What did ZOA say wrong?   Next, Republican leaders are demanding a meeting with ‘Border Czar’ “Kooky Kamala” Harris so they can discuss the BORDER CRISIS, the one a word-slurring Joe Biden long claimed it wasn’t but now says it is and do something about it.  “Kooky Kamala” Harris has crisscrossed the country but has gone NOWHERE near the border since coming into office.  Speaking of the BORDER CRISIS, Joe Biden issued new rules to Customs and Border Patrol telling them ‘NO LONGER can they use the words ‘illegal alien’ and ‘assimilation’ when discussing the ILLEGAL ALIEN INVADERS POURING ACROSS THE SOUTHERN BORDER.’  WTF?   Speaking of ILLEGALS, Joe Biden’s handlers pledge that fuddled old Joe is going to raise the numbers of REFUGEES accepted into the country but that his original goal of hundreds of thousands may not occur.   (Interesting note- late this afternoon, the White House began walking back Joe Biden’s mumbled statements about the ‘crisis’ on the southern border.  Maybe they’ll CANCEL JOE?).
  75. 2021 Monday J: INTERESTING HYPOCRISY OF THE DAY-  Facebook is now censoring criticism of Black Lives Matter skank Patrice Cullors who has purchased several million dollars’ worth of real estate using money donated to BLM by dimwits such as FB cofounder Dustin Moskovitz who gave $5 million to the Marxist organization.  We cannot have people calling out LIBERAL HYPOCRISY now can we and so the great social media platform won’t let anyone call them out on it.
  76. 2021 Monday K: CRIME AND PUNISHMENT- After the defense wrapped up its closing arguments in the trial of Minneapolis Police Officer Derek Chauvin, the jury now has the case and cities from Minneapolis to Chicago to Washington, D.C. to Los Angeles, California, to Portland, Oregon, are all preparing for out of control riots should he be acquitted on ALL charges.  Judge Peter Cahill says, ‘it will be an easy appeal what with Congresswoman Maxine “Prune Face” Waters urging VIOLENCE on American society NO MATTER WHAT VERDICT THE JURY DELIVERS.  (Note- we have said this and will continue saying it, ‘we think Officer Chauvin is going to get off.  Completely.  The blame will rest on liberal Democrats.  Period.  We think that had not the liberals involved themselves, had not the city of Minneapolis paid George Floyd’s family in the week prior to the start of the trial, they may have gotten a just verdict whereas now- as with George Zimmerman, aka the “White Hispanic,” they won’t get the verdict they seek.  IF they do, Chauvin will beat it on appeal).
  77. 2021 Monday L: NOTABLE DEATH- Former Vice President Walter F. Mondale who served under President Jimmy Carter from January 20, 1977 to January 20, 1981 died today in Minneapolis, Minnesota, at the age of 93.  He also was the Democratic Party’s standard-bearer in 1984 with New York Congresswoman Geraldine Ferraro, D-NY 9th congressional district as his running mate.  They were soundly defeated by President Ronald Reagan.  Bon voyage, Mr. Vice President.   In other notable news, we learn today that Capitol Hill Police Officer Brian Sicknick did not die from having his head ‘stoved in with a fire extinguisher’ as multiple media sources proclaimed for months on end during the FALSE FLAG OPERATION on January 06, 2021 but from a combination of two strokes caused by chemical irritants sprayed in his face by Antifa ‘protesters.’

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

The unstoppable rock band from England- UFO- released their next studio effort- “A Conspiracy of Stars”- on February 23, 2015.  Once again, the band featured the quintet of Phil Mogg (vocals), Vinnie Moore (all guitars), Paul Raymond (keyboards), Rob De Luca (bass), and Andy Parker (drums and percussion).  As usual, the band was at top form and fans of the band were in awe of this effort.  Many of the bands that came out of the late 1960s are no longer active but UFO has never gone away nor have their various side projects and endeavors.  We encourage everyone to go out and seek this album out NOW, give it a good listen, and then add it to your collection- you will be glad you did.  Enjoy!

[iv] Nationalist China is FREE China, the true owners of mainland China.  Driven off the mainland by the Reds in 1948-49 to the island of Formosa, renamed Taiwan, these people held the seat in the United Nations now held by the communists.  Many believe it is high time we return to a Two-China Policy that would recognize both the Free and the communist governments would benefit the entire world.  Many also believe it is time to boot Red China out of the UN and welcome Taiwan back in, especially since the communists gave the world the COVID-19 Wuhan Virus Crisis.

[v] As usual, our main sources for the heroic Battle of Dien Bien Phu in which several thousand French Union troops fought against tens of thousands of ravenous communist soldiers comes from “The Last Valley” by Martin Windrow, De Capo Press, 2006.

[vi] We presented another series of interconnected bands which included Free, Bad Company, Led Zeppelin, the Firm, Mott the Hoople, Ian Hunter, the Yardbirds, and a plethora of solo and group efforts beginning on Wednesday, 02-July-2014 through Sunday, 19-October-2014.  We definitely hope that you will seek this music out and consider adding it to your growing collection.

[vii] We promoted the music of both Koss and Back Street Crawler when we did the previous batch of famed British bands.

[viii] We are hopeful we will present the music of the Band and of its individual members sometime in 2024-2025.  Great music by a superb band

[ix] Bing has returned to reporting update numbers (well, mostly).  Here is the link: (1) covid-19 u.s. and global statistics – Bing

[x] Speaking of the decision to flip the game from Atlanta to Denver, we learned today that unsavory people like Stacey Abrams and the big dimwit, the pro-Chi-Com-loving LeBron James were integral in getting the game moved.  How outrageous.  How evil.  Scumbags.

[xix] You know, we suspect she may have done this on purpose so that violence does indeed break out, violence she believes she can use to her benefit.  Wouldn’t it be great if an unruly mob showed up outside her home?

WINTER SESSION 2021

BLOG POST #3,768 AT THE AICP-END

DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2022: 623

WE have the power to determine how many of our rights we will surrender to the Democratic-Socialists…

Shafter, CA 93263, 02-23-2021 Tuesday:   Amigos, we have a problem with senile Joe- el débil Joe– Biden in the White House, this old coot wants to appropriate our guns.  There, I said it, “BINGO!”  The man wants to go puerta a puerta with his storm troopers, his jack-booted band of thugs, and scoop up our guns so my family and I have no way of protecting ourselves.  When the numbers of illegal aliens dumped onto our streets have nowhere to go, no way to find food, water, shelter, or support, these scumbags are going to try to break into our homes, bust out the windows of our businesses, and assault us where we stand.  No, I’ve always been someone who values his CCW because if someone tries to jack me, I am going a soltar el tonto culo where he stands.

However, with crazy old Joe in the White House, my family and I have come to a grand conclusion as what to do, exactamente lo mismo we as business owners must do: band together and say, “NO!  We are not going to let you run our lives anymore.”  If everyone would band together, we would be able to send a penetrating bolt of miedo into all of these elected politicians who believe themselves to be dictators like Hugo Chavez or Fidel Castro.

Our restaurants and small business are dying, nuestras vidas están en la basura, and if we recall Gavin Newsom, Sacramento will still be full of Democratic-Socialists until Election Day November 2022.  The big box stores, the corporations, the chain restaurants, los extranjeros ilegales running hibachi grills on street corners here in Shafter, cooking up the carne nervuda of stray dogs, cats, and opossums, it’s what they do.

Add to that the never-ending flow of food wagons trundling around the city, prowling into the parks where the ilegales hang together with the homeless, all the while the rest of us see our businesses dying or dead because as law-abiding citizens, we play by the rules instead of circumventing the rules.

It’s a horrendous cost and until every business owner agrees to reopen on the same day, at the same hour, from one end of the country to the other, and agree to support one another, there is nothing the frigging government can do to YOU, ME, or to ANYONE else with a big swinging pair and an oversized dangler.

Nope, nothing these hijos de puta chupadores de escoria can do to anyone which is why we have a choice: are we the courageous Tejanos inside the Alamo willing to fight to the bloody end because we believe in something greater than ourselves or are we the inferior Mexican troops assembled outside the Alamo waiting to storm in and to put everyone to the sword.

Now, don’t get me wrong, I am sure I have distant family members who fleshed out the ranks of General Antonio López de Santa Anna, the brave men who for more than a week tried to storm the walls and were thrown back, time after time, their dead and dying bodies littering the killing fields surrounding the old mission.  Thrown back countless times, they finally breached the walls on several sides, stormed within, and killed everyone they encountered, combatant and noncombatant alike.

However, things did not go well for General Santa Anna.  No, several weeks later, they met an angry force of Tejanos who routed the Mexicans at the Battle of San Jacinto and sent them fleeing for their lives.  They captured General Santa Anna who was also the president of Mexico, and even worse for him, they caught him without his wooden leg on.  There was no way he could leap atop his horse and fly south, due south, on the heels the rest of his troops who managed to escape the slaughter.

Now we can surmise his captors wanted to lynch their defeated foe but Sam Houston saw something better to be had by preserving the man’s life.  Oh, it wasn’t his personality, I am sure he behaved like a pomposo pedazo de materia fecal mexicana as only the highborn in that country can.  Sam Houston thought it better to give the man his life and his leg.  All he had to do was to sign the future Lone Star state over to the Tejanos and away we go.

No, we are the defenders of the Alamo- somos los defensores del Alamo.  We took a bayonet of sorts in the guts on November 03, 2020, when these scoundrels stole the election from us like starving illegal aliens do one’s groceries haphazardly left on the back seat of their car.

No, these basura intrigantes got their guy into the White House and quite possibly, the Antichrist in there with him.  Kamala Harris, say what you will about the political hack, one day she will be calling the shots which is why we must fight back now, both on reopening our businesses and defending our guns.

Like you, my family and I spent all last year growing our collection of guns, ammo, and accessories just on the off chance that Joe Biden somehow won the election.  I mean no one thought he was going to win it because other than his Senate seat, he’s never won anything else.  He was like his vice president, he bowed out early in the running, went home to sulk and plot his revenge.

Well, he said he’s going to take our guns.  Thankfully, Kern County is an (undeclared) sanctuary county for guns in the Golden State.  We have a good sheriff.  Still, we can no longer take chances so I told family members to take my guns while I took some of theirs so when- or if- the gun grabbers come to the house seeking them, everyone on the block and in my family will tell them- without a shred of guilt- ‘someone stole our guns and we were just going to inform you of this travesty.”

Sure, they can come into the home and muck about but people that have old septic tanks or who have the ability to sink a chest into the backyard whereby to store their guns and ammo can do sans any accompanying fear.  You see, in the house, we have all manner of other weapons but nothing the cops or the National Guard will ever find which is good.  We either all stand together or we will all swing together and I have NO intention of dangling from a stink tree anytime soon.[i]

It also helps to have a good attorney as well as solid neighbors who all feel the same way.  We will continue with more tomorrow.

Muchas gracias, buen amigos!

[i] Amigos, we like to think that the rank-and-file law enforcement officers, the National Guard, and the U.S. military will defend the rights of the American people rather than infringe upon them and go after us.  We cannot permit overbearing government to topple the U.S. Constitution and to force some bogus left-wing regimen of rules down our throats, hence why we must do everything we can secure our firearms while obtaining more using whatever means necessary.

After all, in the warped views of the traitors, it’s ‘better to be red than dead’ you know, mejor estar rojo que muerto, when the converse is true. FALL SESSION 2020

BLOG POST #3,677 AT THE AICP-END

ELECTION DAY 2020 PLUS TWENTY-ONE

SI Trump cae, me alegro de tener la edad suficiente para no estar el tiempo suficiente para ver la devastación resultante en nuestro país…

San Diego, CA 92122, 11-24-2020 Tuesday: Mis amigos, I am an old man, age 80, with health conditions galore because when one spends a lifetime in a professional kitchen, one drinks, one smokes, and one does whatever else one does because back in the day, no one worried about stuff like they worry about now.  Chefs, sous chefs, bakers, butchers, line cooks, everyone walked around with cigarettes in their mouths, smoking over bubbling pots, over the bake table, the meat block, the band saw, in the dish room, everywhere.  Foodservers and busboys kept lit cigarettes in the dining room in the wait stations where even the customers could see.  Then again, every table had an ashtray so what the flip, right?

Now, that sort of behavior is condemned if not illegal just as slapping the rear end of a sexy waitress has become.  Employers like my family and me must spend big bucks to have some leftist nitwits come in and lecture them on sexual harassment and the like.  Once the twit goes (and we’re short some $10,000 bucks later), they go back to harassing one another, it is what it is.

Thus, I am glad I am on the way out as it is difficult to transform oneself from an Alpha Male to a wimpy, Beta man-bun-wearing snowflake who buys medications to remove body hair while using other remedies on late night television to return it to their dome.  What has happened to our country?  How have today’s young men surrendered to so many angry young white women with degrees in LGBTQIA+ studies who call everyone a racist while spraying spittle in their faces?

Moreover, how have we arrived at a point in time when some pansy at a school like Loyola badgers a student into surrendering his MAGA hat as it’s somehow racist?  What a disgrace.  That bald-headed pequeño maricón sin testículos has no business lecturing anyone on anything.  Glad my kids came up in the school of hard knocks where both ways to grammar, junior high, and high school were uphill.  We didn’t raise our kids to be a bunch of mariquitas llorando (that’s a joke numb nuts).

Well, if Trump loses- and I’m a realist, I suspect he will because of the vast array of opposing forces leveled against him- los comunistas van a gobernar el gallinero.  It is as if Trump is a lone ‘king piece’ on the chessboard, the other side with all its pieces as well as the opposing ‘king’s’ chess pieces who have defected to the other side

After all, in the warped views of the traitors, it’s ‘better to be red than dead’ you know, mejor estar rojo que muerto, when the converse is true.  It’s better to be DEAD than RED, which is why so many of my fellow Latinos are aghast that Trump might lose and Hugo Chavez-loving leftists might gain control of our country.  ¡Dí que no es así!

The old fogey “Pro-China Joe” Biden has said that WHEN he enters the White House, relations with communist Cuba will revert to what they were in 2016 when he and Barack Hussein Obama were in charge.  The communists had achieved recognition as an equal nation, one that wasn’t going to eat our lunches, from the Obama-Biden administration, which was horrible, Los Cubanos in America did not deserve that, not until the Cuban people threw off their shackles, paraded the communist thugs through the streets of every town and city, and began busting caps in the backs of their heads.

Hispanic Americans are not overjoyed at the prospect of a Biden-Harris administration because most of us believe that “Socialist Joe” ain’t gonna be around long.  Heck, many think he may not make it to Inauguration Day– many of my colleagues here at the American Institute of Culinary Politics-The Elemental News of the Day agree with me on this- which will put him into a category all his own: a president-elect who never became president.

That means we will have a ‘President Kamala Harris’ and God knows whom she might select to be her VP.  It sure as heck won’t be Willie Brown but it could be some ‘tool’ like Beto O’Rourke, Julian Castro, a nonentity such as Andrew Yang or Jay Inslee, or some other bottom feeder such as Senator Harris.  She would never have gotten anywhere close to winning the presidency had not a cabal of far-left radicals been behind her, pulling strings for her, using the communist bat virus to full effect.  What a sad turn of events for the American people and their country.

All Senator Harris had to do was to what women like her always do and that is to sleep her way up the ladder.  Bang enough politicians higher than you and you get to where you want to go.  Evita Peron was able to do it and so has Kamala, a person without a soul who will rule us like a Chavismo or Castro or some other tin horn leftwing POS.

Heck, she might sleep with world leaders to climb to the top of the heap.  Didn’t Robin Wright’s character in House of Cards, the one about the Clinton-Obama-like corrupt president’s wife did?  Diablos, la “diplomacia de las panochas” podría ser justo lo que el mundo necesita.

Amigos, we will pick back up tomorrow provided some leftist loser doesn’t bust a slug on my head for saying what I’ve said today.   En la América de 2020, uno simplemente no sabe…

In 1999, Savoy Brown released a live effort with the band that recorded “Rock and Roll Warriors,” The lineup featured Kim Simmonds (guitars/keyboards/harmonica/vocals), Keith Boyce (drums), Steve Lynch & Barry Paul (guitars), Ralph Mormon (vocals), and John Humphrey (bass).  The band was moving in a different direction with which to keep up with the times but the same smoking guitar assault by the leader kept the band grounded.  “The Bottom-Line Encore Collection,” is a fine addition to the growing discography of the British blues band, which is why we urge everyone to embark on a digital journey to the world’s greatest online marketplace, Amazon.com.  When you arrive there, pick out the format, the condition, and the price that works best for you—you will be glad you did.

Historically, overthrows of the existing order requires a minority committed to any tactic, no matter how violent, heinous, or radical to succeed; however, the threat facing us now is larger than anything I could have predicted

No, an unseen hand somewhere, someplace has put in place the tools of mob violence which includes all manner of personnel, projectiles, buzz saws, welding equipment, gas masks, umbrellas, you name it, all of this was ready and waiting to go. All it required was that necessary spark to make it appear as though it was a grassroots response and not one of Astroturf.

FALL SESSION 2020

BLOG POST #3,648 AT THE AICP-END

EIGHT DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2020

We are on the final countdown to Election Day…

Kula, HI 96790, 10-26-2020 Monday:  Here we are, one week out and counting from Election Day.  I concur with my colleagues, this election cycle is perhaps the most important in our lifetimes and could very well be forever.  Never have so many been threatened by so few yet it always seems that a subversive, albeit ferocious minority of Bolshevik-Marxist thugs, carries out these swift overthrows of government.  The fact that they are willing to use any tactic, any crime no matter how reprehensible to achieve total power aids them in their vicious endeavors.[i]

In October 1917, a minority of brutal communists overthrew the czar. In Cuba, a left-wing minority of communists overthrew a pro-American, albeit somewhat corrupt government headed by General Fulgencio Batista and replaced it with a murderous, totalitarian regime.[ii]

Furthermore, what is going on within the borders of our country at this stage in our history is an attempted overthrow of a duly-elected president and government by a committed minority of anarchists, fascists, communists, and Deep State apparatchiks- aided by the Fake News Media- is far larger than anything we ever anticipated.  How is it that we have arrived at this moment in time?

The fact that we chef-authors who write for the American Institute of Culinary Politics-the Elemental News of the Day, aka the AICPENDBLOG.COM write every six months is an eye-opener for all of us because at the time we write, we never anticipate that things are going to be even worse than anything we’re able to envision.   I had no clue back in May that our country would be in the crisis in which, we now find it, and that was on the heels of impeachment, COVID-19, and an intense election cycle.[iii]

Six months ago, we were concerned with the Chinese Virus (and still are) and the effect of lockdowns and restrictions on what free people can and cannot do.  Our state government slammed the doors shut on all of us even though we typically live in a place that is healthier than most other places all because the trades blow diseases out to sea.

Likewise, our incidences of colds, the flu, and other annoying bugs is far less than what the mainland experiences yet Gov. David Ige shut us down TIGHT to the point that we are becoming a welfare state.

Six months ago, a long, hot summer of violence had not yet exploded onto the scene yet who could have predicted that what we’ve seen on the news every night on our TV screens up until mid-September was going to happen in a country reeling from the effects of a global pandemic?  Not me.

What happened to George Floyd was horrible, what happened to some other black men in interactions with white police officers was not good either but how did isolated events rapidly become pandemics of violence from one end of the country to the other in a relatively short time.  I agree with many of my colleagues that the EXPLOSION, the response to horrifyingly tragic events here and there in the country was primed and awaiting a spark, any spark, and when that spark or set of sparks flashed into being, mob violence on a scale heretofore unseen since the 1960s ensued.

Now, Hawaii is not quite the same as the mainland and more so, we have been kept under lock and key through the pandemic response initiated by our Democratic governor and government.  Venturing away from home is prohibited except under specific circumstances and when they order a two-week quarantine when one comes home or to visit has driven everyone stir-crazy; yet, we have not burned down our beloved islands.

Back to my main point, the level of violence across the nation has shocked the heck out of everyone.  No one wants to see brutality of any kind but the repeated waves of mob violence occurred at the drop of a hat, first here, then there, then everywhere and to a casual observer from afar, it seems too well orchestrated, too spontaneous, to be spur-of-the-moment happenings.

We as Americans should all be fearful of what is taking place around us.  However, we cannot permit that fear to keep us from voting, from making sure our votes arrive where they’re supposed to, because if we should lose this election, like millions of my fellow Americans, I dread that we are on the verge of losing our country.

I will see you tomorrow.  Lots of love.

We continue offering albums by one of Britain’s greatest bands, Fleetwood Mac, a band with a long history and a much-longer list of musicians going through its ranks.  Their twenty-fifth album, “Behind the Mask,” appeared on record store shelves on April 09, 1990.  Guitarist and vocalist Lindsay Buckingham had left the band and in his place, two guitarists appeared one to do the leads (Billy Burnette) and the other to sing his vocals (Rick Vito).  Other than that, the core of the band remained (Mick Fleetwood, Christine McVie, Stevie Nicks, and John McVie) but the sound was decidedly different but still, the album is worth buying even though music reviewers were decidedly negative in their reviews.  While we always suggest Amazon.com, there are plenty of other venues across the globe so seek them out wherever you shop for the finest in rock music- you will be glad you did.

FOOTNOTES:

[i] Having a good foundation in world history is important but it always seems that a general uprising of discontented people contains a smaller number of committed left-wing Marxists who ride the coattails of the masses into becoming the true power.  We have seen this in the French Revolution, we have seen it in the Spanish Revolution of the 1930s, we have seen it in Cuba, and elsewhere around the world.  This is why it’s so important that observers seek out the true power in the movement and here in the United States in 2020 we have “Pro-China Joe” Biden at the top of the ticket but we must look at Kamala Harris who herself is a tool of Bernie Sanders, AOC and her squad, and behind them, the Chinese Communists.  There is the real hand of power.

[ii] Each of these revolutionary groups proclaim they are doing what they are doing ‘for the people’ when in fact, they are doing it for themselves.  The goal is power and anyone who helps them along the way or has a falling out with them finds out quickly where they stand.  Usually not in a good place.  The Bolsheviks turned on one another, the Mensheviks disappeared (and they were the majority) and look at Cuba or Venezuela or any of these other places proclaimed to be ‘socialist paradises’ but are hellholes, typically worse than whatever they replaced.

[iii] If anything has driven the totalitarians out into the open, it’s been the COVID-19 crisis.  Suddenly, they found themselves imbued with massive amounts of power, power for which, they did not have to answer and look what they have done to the states where they are in charge.  Hawaii is dying, no one is going to want to come here except to buy up distressed properties once people are able to list them and move somewhere cheap on the mainland.  It’s tragic and it did not have to be this way.
