26. 1944 Sunday: In the Crimea on the Eastern Front, German and Rumanian forces are falling back to the Sebastopol line. German transport ships are trying to resupply the Axis forces holding the area but the Soviet Black Sea Fleet is now beginning to contest the waters between Bulgaria and Rumania and the Crimea. Hitler is determined his troops will not abandon the massive fortress port city. After all, the Red Army clung to it for more than a year as Operation Barbarossa rolled by them heading east.

Grant at Appomattox Court House in Virginia.  The event took place in the parlor of the home of Wilmer McClean.

  23. 1941 Wednesday: The Balkan campaign continues to accelerate as the Yugoslavs cannot stop the Blitzkrieg coming their way nor can the Greeks.  However, Axis forces will end up wasting six weeks that could have been spent better by invading the Soviet Union in May 1941 rather than towards the end of June 1941.  This would prove to be the undoing of Operation Barbarossa.
  24. 1942 Thursday: During World War II, American and Philippine defenders on Bataan capitulated to Japanese forces; the infamous Bataan Death March followed the surrender in which the POWS were marched to prisoner of war camps miles away.  As they made the trek, they were denied food, water, medical aid, and other humanitarian treatment and anyone unable to continue the march and who fell by the side of the path was used for bayonet practice if the Japanese troops were bored or shot in the head if they were determined to march the 12,000 survivors to the infamous POW camps.  In the Crimea, Soviets are trying to push the Axis troops back but are not yet powerful enough to do it yet.
  25. 1943 Friday: Japanese air assets begin attacking U.S. and Australian shipping near the Solomon Islands’ hotbed of Guadalcanal where a fight to the death had occurred in 1942.  Having lost the battle for Guadalcanal earlier they are still contesting the region.  Their offensive power would begin to ebb as the Allies would begin building up the necessary power to take the fight to the Japanese home islands.
  26. 1944 Sunday: In the Crimea on the Eastern Front, German and Rumanian forces are falling back to the Sebastopol line.
  27. 1945 Monday: The NFL requires its players to wear long stockings.  Elsewhere, the Battle for Okinawa continues as U.S. forces assault the infamous Shuri Line, heavily defended by interlocking Imperial Japanese forces.  The Japanese fortified portions of the island so as to draw in U.S. forces and then bleed them dry.  This fight would continue for several weeks.

  51. 2009 Thursday: After NOT being seen since August 2008, North Korea’s Great Leader Kim Jong Un makes a public appearance.  He is after all, running for another term as leader of his nation.  We bet he will get 99.999-percent and the fraction that don’t vote for him will be sent to the gulags with three generations of their families.
  52. 2010 Friday: Rescuers search for over 200 people believed buried in their homes by a landslide in Murro do Bumba near Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.  Meanwhile, ISIS is excited in that they are claiming credit for a recent triple bombing in Baghdad that blew up 40 poor souls and damaged some nearby embassies.  Ah, the ‘religion of peace’ strikes again- Islam.
  53. 2011 Saturday: In the Republic of Djibouti, located in the Horn of Africa, President Ismael Omar Guelleh wins re-election with 79% of the vote.  Elsewhere, the Palestinians are causing trouble as they fire a barrage of at least 100-120 rockets into southern Israel, injuring several people.  The Iron Dome knocks quite a few of them down and the Israeli air force begins conducting retaliatory airstrikes on Palestinian positions.  Light ‘em up, boys, light those scumbags up.  The Palestinians report at least 12 civilians- mostly young and innocent (yeah, right)- are killed in the airstrikes.
  54. 2012 Monday: Facebook purchases Instagram, a photo sharing application, for $1 billion.  Elsewhere, the North Koreans are preparing for another missile launch which the world’s spy satellites claim might be a new intercontinental missile with which to threaten the entire world but especially the Obama administration.  Meanwhile, the Arab Spring continues as Turkey gets angry that the Syrians are firing cross-border barrages into refugee camps on the Turkish side.
  55. 2013 Tuesday: The North Korean government advises its people to leave South Korea soon, anticipating a possible conflict.  Meanwhile, Japan installs Patriot missiles in central Tokyo and Okinawa Island and sent two warships to patrol the Sea of Japan.  Elsewhere, troubles continue in the South Sudan as gunmen attack some U.N. peacekeepers- “blue helmets”- killing at least 12 of them and wounding numerous others.

  57. 2015 Thursday: The Federal Aviation Administration exempts Amazon.com from commercial drone flight prohibitions, which allows it to flight test delivery drones.  However, due to the amount of time it took to approve them, their drone fleet grew older and they had to reapply for a new exemption.  Meanwhile, as ISIS continues spreading terror to the borders of other nations surrounding Syria, Iraq says the scumbags have murdered at least 52 Iraqi police officers working along their shared border with Syria.
  58. 2016 Saturday: Democratic voters in the great state of Wyoming head to their caucuses today.  Vermont Democratic-Socialist Senator Bernie Sanders is expected to win big.  Meanwhile, the North Koreans claim to have successfully test-fired the engine for a intercontinental ballistic missile, one that can strike anywhere in the world.
  59. 2017 Sunday: Once again, members of the so-called “religion of peace,” Islam, in the form of ISIS launches suicide bombings against two Egyptian Coptic churches, one in Tanta and the other in Alexandria, killing 44.  Then, in Mogadishu, Somalia, other members of this ‘peaceful faith’ carry out a suicide car-bombing that kills at least 17 and wounds scores of others; Al-Shabab claims credit.  Elsewhere, the Trump administration begins deploying naval assets towards the Koreas following missile tests by Kim Jong Un, the Brave Leader of that Godforsaken country.   The country also finds itself back on the list of state sponsors of terrorism
  60. 2018 Monday: Illinois junior Senator Tammy Duckworth, Democrat, becomes the first sitting U.S. senator to give birth while in office.  Congratulations!  Next, U.S. Senator Cindy Hyde Smith, R-MS, entered the world’s greatest deliberative body on this date.  Meanwhile, Fleetwood Mac[ii] undergoes change yet again what with the firing of guitarist/vocalist Lindsay Buckingham and by replacing him with Neil Finn and Michael Campbell.  Elsewhere, the Israeli government is investigating a video that just happened to pop up showing Israeli soldiers cheering the death of a Palestinian terrorist shot dead by an Israeli sniper.  The kill shot went through the Gaza border fence and took out the thug.  Since when can warriors not celebrate the death of an enemy?  Elsewhere, the U.S. State Department says that North Korea’s Kim Jong Un is displaying a willingness to discuss ‘denuclearization’ with the U.S.
  61. 2018 Monday A: Meanwhile, the FBI swoop down on President Donald J. Trump’s personal attorney Michael Cohen as they search for evidence of illicit payments from the Trump campaign to porn star, Stormy Daniels.  Cohen would flip on his boss but could not give federal prosecutors anything of value.  Next, comedian Bill Cosby’s retrial begins today.  The comedian is hopeful a new trial will clear him of all charges which he says are BOGUS.  Him doping women and then doing them?  Come on, he’s ‘America’s dad.’

Anthony Fauci and Deborah Birx continue demanding of the American people which is insane.  Some places are not suffering whereas some Democratic strongholds such as New York state and New York City continue racking up the losses.  Meanwhile, the Stock Market finishes UP which is awesome with the DOW Jones Industrial Complex closing at 23,719.37, up 285.80 (1.22%); the NASDAQ closed at 8,153,57 up 62.67 (0.77%), and the S & P closed at 2,789.82, up 39.84 (1.45%).  Real Clear Politics claims that President Trump’s approval ratings are +47 and -52.  Polls also claim that Vice President “China Joe” Biden is leading President Trump.  Bulls**t.  Finally, Chef Itzi Nakamura of the AICPENDBLOG.COM now believes that when the COVID-19 mess ends, the United States must reimplement the Two-China Policy, recognizing Nationalist China, aka Taiwan, as an equal to the mainland if not the legitimate ruler of the mainland.
  64. 2021 Friday: It’s the weekend but communists never sleep, folks, so stick around to discover whatever their flunky, “Pro-China Joe” Biden is up to today.  Also, stay tuned for the Mega-Millions Draw #1649!

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

UFO released a somewhat costly retrospective anthology of sorts on January 21, 2012, “The Chrysalis Years 1973-1979.”  This effort contains every piece of music the band recorded between 1973 and 1979.  You get all the tunes collected together on several CDS.  Some sites are charging an arm and a leg (perhaps two legs) for this collection but if you have some money to spend- seeing as how everyone may have received their Joe Biden PORKULUS checks, you will have enough cash to purchase this glorious set and still have a couple of hundred dollars left.  Seek it out now and see if it’s right for you- you will be glad you did.

BLOG POST #3,851 AT THE AICP-END

DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2022: 582

95. TODAY IN HISTORY—MONDAY, APRIL 05, 2021 UPDATE A:

Easter Monday

Friends, our days of drinking Coca-Cola® and going to Major League Baseball games is over until businesses and sports leagues stop with WOKE politics- enough is f**king enough!

  • 2021 Monday: JOE BIDEN/JOE BIDEN ADMINISTRATION NEWS- The U.S. Department of the Interior under the watchful eye of the first Norwegian-Native American Secretary Debra Haaland, is creating a new unit with which to investigate missing Native Americans.  This is good.  Many Native Americans disappear or are harmed on reservations, typically by outsiders, so this is something that is long overdue.  Next, Joe Biden’s economic advisor Brian Deese says, ‘the economy has a long ways to go’ before it improves.  Under the previous president, the economy was vastly improved whereas the Biden administration is returning it to the death spiral it was in when Obama-Biden were in charge.  In other ‘Biden news,’ Dr. Jill Biden is being savaged for wearing fishnet stockings and looking like a ‘ho.’  Meanwhile, former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, RINO, says that ‘Joe Biden is lying to the American people’ on virtually everything.  We concur but it’s not going to help you become president one day, doughboy.
  • 2021 Monday A: JOE BIDEN ADMINISTRATION NEWS- U.S. Secretary of Energy Jennifer M. Granholm says that ‘Joe Biden will pass the infrastructure bill will pass IF the American people support it.’  We don’t.  Senator Roy Blunt, R-MO, says that the ‘infrastructure program pushed by the Biden administration would achieve bipartisan support IF it focused on infrastructure.’  Another critic of the administration’s plan is Senator Roger Wicker, R-MS, blasts Joe Biden over cutting out the 2017 tax cuts which is part of the new ‘infrastructure plan.’[i]  However, U.S. Transportation Secretary ‘Mayor Pete’ Buttigieg broke with his boss today when he said, “AOC’s infrastructure program is bolder than Joe Biden’s.’  Wow.  What’s up with that?   In other Biden administration news, U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen is calling for a global worldwide minimum tax on corporations so that they cannot relocate elsewhere in the world for a better deal. Wow.  (Note- Senator Joe Manchin, D-WV, says he opposes the corporate tax hikes in the infrastructure bill).
  • 2021 Monday B: FOREIGN NEWS/OVERSEAS NEWS I-  Michael Oren, noted author and an Israeli-American, says that the ‘People’s Republic of China is extending its reach into the Middle East’ and that the ‘United States should take note.’  Next, Egypt holds a BIG MUMMIES PARADE in which it trotted out nearly 30 mummies in specially equipped vehicles so as to stimulate renewed interest in tourism from abroad.  We would have loved to have seen that.  In other foreign news, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov says it ‘appears that the United States is undergoing a (communist) Chinese-style ‘Cultural Revolution’ which was not good for the citizens of China back in the day.  We, ourselves, have said this on numerous occasions.  Finally, Iran rejects talks with the United States, demands feeble old Joe Biden lift all sanctions against the jihadist regime, and compensates all damages done to them by the U.S. and then, we can talk.  We say, “Nuke them!”
  • 2021 Monday C: NATIONAL NEWS- Since the pandemic, violent crime has been rising at astronomical numbers in the U.S.  The murder rate has shot up by 25-percent. Speaking of violent crime, another attack on Asian-Americans occurred in Oakland, California, yesterday when several BLACK thugs attacked an elderly Asian couple in front of their own home.[ii] In other news, Delta Airlines is busy rescheduling 100 scheduled flights due to staff shortages.  Yet another sign that things might be returning to normal.  Meanwhile, we now learn that a breach at Facebook back in 2019 exposed the personal info of more than 53 million of its users online.  Thank you, Mark Zuckerberg, you, and your Chinese wife, Priscilla Chan.
  • 2021 Monday D: MISCELLANEOUS NEWS I- Over the course of a weekend, an 11-year-old girl lost her life in Florida during a street race.   Speaking of the Sunshine State, a toxic waste spill at the non-functioning Piney Point phosphate plant has forced the evacuation of at least 300 homes.  In other auto-related news, an ambulance rollover in the Empire State claimed the life of one person and injured several others.  Elsewhere, Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson now faces 21 allegations of sexual misconduct with sex workers.  Say what?
  • 2021 Monday E: SHOWBIZ AND ENTERTAINMENT NEWS- “Godzilla v. King Kong’ did very well in its first weekend bringing in $32 million.  Theaters are just reopening so this is a positive sign that things could return to normal.  In other showbiz news, imprisoned sexual deviate and film producer Harvey Weinstein is seeking a new trial in that the jury in his first one he believes was prejudiced against him.  It most likely was.
  • 2021 Monday F: BIDEN BORDER CATASTROPHE- Governor Doug Ducey, RINO-AZ, says that the ‘Joe Biden White House is divorced from reality when it comes to what is happening along the border between our nation and Mexico.’[iii]  Next, “Kooky Kamala” Harris once again breaks into hysterical, jackass-like laughter when questioned about ‘affordable childcare’ and all the help being given to legions of illegal alien brats being housed in U.S. facilities.  This ditz never has the answers to any questions of import.  Senator John Barrasso, R-WY, says that when he visited the southern border, left-wing activists working within the care facilities holding illegal alien brats demanded he delete all photos on his phone which he claims he did not.  Finally, Governor Ron DeSantis backs his Attorney General Ashley Moody’s lawsuit filed against the Biden administration demanding it RESUME the deportations of criminal illegal aliens.[iv]
  • 2021 Monday G: MISCELLANEOUS NEWS II- The American Civil Liberties Union, ACLU- the, warns Democrats against their push for COVID-19 passports when they don’t demand voter ID at election time.  Next, New York state lawmakers have proposed hefty tax increases on the wealthiest among them which would make the Empire State the highest tax state in the country.   Elsewhere, Rod J. Rosenstein says that ‘we should wait and see what information Special Counsel John Durham comes up with regarding Crossfire Hurricane.’  Meanwhile, DNC Chairman Jaime Harrison says that the ‘Democratic Party’s brand is broken, that the party is barely functioning.  It’s all about organize, organize, organize.’
  • 2021 Monday H: FOREIGN NEWS/OVERSEAS NEWS II- As Russian troops and armored units continue to amass along the eastern border of the Ukraine, Ukraine and NATO are going to hold joint military drills.  Many believe that Vladimir Putin- a man, who by the way, signed legislation into law today that will allow him to rule with an iron fist until 2036- is testing senile old Joe Biden to see how far he can push the old coot before the U.S. responds.  This is coming at a time when Russia is cementing its claim to many parts of the Arctic just as communist China, Iran, North Korea, and other nations are behaving aggressively to both the U.S. and to other nations around the globe.  We believe we are witnessing a new Axis alliance which will conquer the world unfolding before our very eyes.
  • 2021 Monday I: PEACH STATE HULLABALOO- Congresswoman Nancy Mace, R-SC 1st congressional district, calls out Major League Baseball and its Commissioner Rob Manfred’s hypocrisy over showing ID to vote in Georgia and MLB demanding people show ID when they pick up game tickets.  Meanwhile, as GOP officials in Georgia investigate rampant voter fraud in the 2020 Elections, election officials are unable to provide chain of custody documents for more than 400,000 ballots when all President Donald J. Trump ‘lost’ the state by was 12,000 votes.  No matter Democrats are wetting their pants.  Next, Georgia GOP officials told Coca-Cola® to get out of their state as they are another example of WOKEISM run amok.[v]  Elsewhere, Senator Marco Rubio, R-FL, blasts Commissioner Manfred over his hypocrisy when it comes to blasting Georgia while remaining mum on communist China.  After all, MLB is tight with the Chi-Com intelligence gathering app, Tencent.  (Note- Governor Greg Abbott, R-TX, says he will not throw out the first pitch at the Texas Rangers baseball game over the MLB and its despicable actions).
  • 2021 Monday J: MISCELLANEOUS NEWS III- Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee was trolling liberals by saying, he is now going to identify as Chinese to get preferential treatment.  Next, former Missouri Governor Eric Greitens, also a U.S. candidate, says he will uphold the Trump agenda.  Moving on, Senator Reverend Raphael Warnock, D-GA, had to remove a heretical ‘Christian’ tweet that irritated true believers and not Marxists like him.  F**k them and f**k him.  Speaking of Christianity, we saw amazing video of a Christian preacher in Canada throwing the cops out of the church- at least six or seven of them- who came to close down his services because there were more people there than the law would allow.  F**k Canada.[vi]  God bless you, pastor!
  • 2021 Monday K: MISCELLANEOUS NEWS IV- The Soros Group pledges $20 million to push the Biden agenda. Next, gun control advocates push the Biden administration to do more on guns.  Moving on, the U.S. Supreme Court of the United States ends the Twitter-President Donald J. Trump feud by saying it’s moot.   The court also passes on workplace religious bias cases.  Speaking of Twitter, after Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-GA 14th congressional district, sends out an Easter tweet in which, she says, “HE IS RISEN!  HAPPY EASTER!” Twitter suspends her.  Suspends her.  WTF?

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

The Michael Schenker Group roared into Japan 30 years after their first appearance there and recorded a live album as well as a DVD of the concert.  “The 30th Anniversary Concert- Live in Tokyo” hit record store shelves on October 19, 2010.  The band features the amazing Michael Schenker (guitars), Gary Barden (vocals), Neil Murray (bass), Simon Phillips (drums), and Wayne Findlay (keyboards/rhythm guitar/vocals).  There is no dispute that the band members of UFO and the subsequent side bands and endeavors are among the greatest veteran rock musicians on the globe.  These guys rock until they drop and even then continue rocking.  We love this album and we encourage everyone to visit whatever site it is you do so you can pick it up, add it to your collection, and enjoy for years- if not decades to come.  You will be glad you did.

ENDNOTES:

[i] Political strategist Dick Morris says the entire thing is about collectivizing the American worker by forcing everyone to join labor unions.  Amen, Dick!

[ii] Once again, the Democrats play one component of the identity politics group against another so they can then send Asian-Americans (and Pacific Islanders) out into the streets demanding a STOP to Asian HATE.  Only problem with having members of the black community to commit your violent crimes is that unless they dress in whiteface, we know who they are and we know who’s directing them: DEMOCRATS.

[iii] Speaking of Arizona, the Democrat-controlled Fake News Media is blasting Arizona over its recount of all votes in the 2020 Presidential Election.  Hey, Dems, if you have nothing to hide, what the f**k are you frightened of?

[iv] Speaking of Governor Ron DeSantis, CBS’ “60 Minutes” attempted to twist an interview done with him at a news conference by rearranging it to suit their agenda and their narrative.  Unluckily for them, the Florida governor had his people film the entire event so he could show the TRUTH.  Come on, Fake News Media, when are you going to learn your lessons.

[v] Right now, PepsiCo® stands to gain BIG unless, they, too, join the cavalcade of WOKEISM f**king up our country.

[vi] These flipping people are entering the Nazi-Fascist period in their political history when the power of the state supplants all other rights including worship services.  Canada is now an enemy of the United States and of free people everywhere.

  66. 2019 Tuesday: The New York Times publishes a story in which, the author claims that ‘top officials in the Trump administration begged and pleaded with the president to release the military aid he froze for the Ukraine over wanting information on the corrupt business dealings of the Biden Cartel in that corrupt country.’  A year later, we would learn how corrupt and crooked the Bidens are.
  67. 2020 Thursday: U.S. Intel reports that the Chi-Coms- NOT the Russians- were paying Islamist militants in Afghanistan to murder U.S. military personnel in that s-hole country.  When it was reported the Russians were paying Islamist militants in Afghanistan to do the same thing, Democrats wanted President Donald J. Trump to go to war with the Russians whereas now…crickets.  Elsewhere, a federal appeals court upholds the conviction of a Chi-Com think tank individual who has business ties to the so-called, ‘President-elect Pro-China Joe’ Biden’s son, Hunter.
  68. 2020 Thursday A: Speaking of the Chi-Coms, they are outraged that President Trump sent U.S. warships through the Straits of Taiwan.  F**k them.  Also regarding the Chinese communists, leaked hacked documents show that Beijing was doing everything to deflect responsibility for the global Xi Jinping Bat Flu pandemic onto someone or some other nation rather than on themselves where 100-percent of the blame belongs.  What a bunch of scumbags.   Elsewhere, Vladimir Putin is having a challenging time to find customers for Russia’s ‘Sputnik’ COVID-19 vaccine.  Everyone knows whatever ‘vaccine’ the Russians have produced is CRAP.
  69. 2020 Thursday B: The father of British Prime Minister Boris Johnson is requesting French citizenship ahead of Brexit which is official at 12:01 A.M. tonight.  Elsewhere, many IT security officials and techs believe the Chi-Com hack of SolarWinds occurred much earlier than believed- so says, U.S. Senator Mark Warner of Virginia.  Moving on, ever the pessimist, Senator Lindsey Graham, R-SC, says he’s doubtful that Senator Josh Hawley’s challenges to the certification of the 2020 Presidential Election vote is going to be successful.
  70. 2020 Thursday C: Jobless claims in the U.S. drop the second week in a row what with 787,000 new claims.  Elsewhere, serial killer Samuel Little dies in the joint at age 80.  The man is credited with the killings of 93 women from 1970 to 2005.   Meanwhile, the Georgia GOP has recruited 8,000 poll watchers who plan to observe every facet of the elections next week.  We shall see if they will be bullied again.  Finally, a tornado touched down briefly in Corsicana, Texas, destroying several homes.
  71. 2020 Thursday D: Here are the latest stats for the Xi Jinping Bat Flu, straight out of the fetid bowels of the world’s lone communist semi-superpower: 83,338,512 confirmed cases, UP by 827,952 cases, 1,815,864 confirmed deaths, UP by 15,464 deaths, and 46,993,335 confirmed recoveries, UP by 353,269 recoveries from yesterday’s figures.  Here are the numbers for the United States (SAME AS YESTERDAY’S): 19,910,674 confirmed cases, UP by 197,630 new cases, 344,877 confirmed deaths, UP by 3,693 new deaths, and 8,757,150 confirmed recoveries, UP by 94,066 new recoveries.  (The number of recoveries would be even greater if Blue State governors would report them but alas, we know they won’t- corrupt POSs).  Now that Mo is living in Israel, here are the numbers for that nation: 416,584 confirmed cases, 3,307 confirmed deaths, and 372,284 confirmed recoveries.
  72. 2020 Thursday E: Next, in the three states in which, the world-famous American Institute of Culinary Politics-The Elemental News of the Day employs chef-authors, California, Hawaii, and Washington, here are the stats, Golden State first: 2,282,219 confirmed cases, 25,449 confirmed deaths, but as is the norm, NO mention of confirmed recoveries.  Next, here are the stats for the Aloha State: 21,397 confirmed cases, 288 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION OF confirmed recoveries anymore- what is up with YOU, Gov. Ige, you Democrat hack.  Finally, in the Ever-Red, uh, we mean, the Evergreen State, here are the stats: 247,575 confirmed cases, 3,486 confirmed deaths, but like California, the gorilla-faced governor, Jay Inslee, won’t share the number of confirmed recoveries.  Shame on these flipping Democrats.  Let’s take a look at one more state, Alabama: 361,226 confirmed number of cases, 4,827 confirmed deaths, and sadly, no mention of the confirmed number of recoveries- thank you.
  73. 2020 Thursday F:  Here are today’s Stock Market closes: DOW Jones Industrial Average: 30,606.48, UP 196.92 points (+0.65%).  Next, the NASDAQ: 12,888.28, UP 18.28 points (+0.14%).  Finally, here are the stats for the S&P 500: 3,756.07, UP 24.03 points (+0.64%).  The price of GOLD is $1,895.10 per troy oz., -3.50 (-0.18%) while the price of SILVER is $26.41 per troy ounce, -0.413 (-1.54%).  The price of PLATINUM is $1,079.20 per troy oz, -3.00 (-0.28%) while the price of COPPER is $3.52 per pound, -0.0255 (-0.72%).  The price of PALLADIUM is $2,453.80 per troy oz, +75.40 (+3.17%).  The price of Light Sweet Crude Oil is $48.52 per barrel, +0.22 (+0.46%).  Currently, one-dollar U.S. = 6.53 Chi-Com yuan.   Meanwhile, one-dollar U.S. = 0.82 euros and in Mexican pesos equals 19.88.  In other economic news, the IMF says that should be used to determine an individual’s credit scores…WTF?  Meanwhile, tomorrow, 20 states will be raising their minimum wage.
  74. 2020 Thursday G: Here it is, New Year’s Eve and no one knows what the scoundrels in Beijing or their patsies in the Democratic Party are up to today which is why we encourage everyone to stick around and discover their crimes and misdeeds with us…curious?  We sure the heck are…

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

The next solo album by vocalist Peter Wolf- “Fool’s Parade,” came out on September 29, 1998 and lo and behold, Jann Wenner- reclusive founder of the magazine “Rolling Stone” labeled it as among the essential recordings of the 1990s.  Wolf brought together another group of talented musicians to help him create a fine rock and roll effort.  Johnny A., Steve Conte, and Cornell Dupree performed guitars as Tony Beard did drums, John Conte, bass, as well as a coterie of others to help round out the sound.  This is a wonderful album; one we encourage everyone to seek out wherever they shop for the absolute best in rock and roll music and give it a good listen.  We think you will add it to your growing collection of nothing but the best in rock music- something we have been promoting since our founding in 2009.

  41. 1998 Sunday: In Venezuela, former Lt. Col. Hugo Chavez, who had staged a bloody coup attempt six years earlier, was elected president much to the shock of the people of that country as he was little more than a communist POS scumbag.  During his reign and that of his successor Nicolas Maduro, the country has descended into deep poverty where people eat the zoo animals and their pets to stay alive.  It is time for the United Nations to send troops and stop the insanity in this once-prosperous country.
  42. 2001 Thursday: The House of Representatives by a one-vote margin, gave President George W. Bush more power to negotiate global trade deals.  Of course, the Democrats did not want this, still chafing at the bit for having the ‘election stolen from them’ as they claimed throughout the eight years of his presidency.
  43. 2004 Monday: Militants struck the U.S. Consulate in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, with explosives and machine guns, killing nine people in an attack claimed by al-Qaida.  Elsewhere, Ohio certified President George W. Bush’s 119,000-vote victory over Democratic nominee Senator John F. Kerry, even as the Kerry campaign and third-party candidates prepared to demand a statewide recount.
  44. 2005 Tuesday: The American Civil Liberties Union files a case in federal court on behalf of a German citizen who claims that the CIA kidnapped him- what they call ‘rendition’- took him to Afghanistan and tortured him for information.  When the CIA realized he was not the guy they thought he was, they flew him back to Europe and dumped in Germany.   Meanwhile, as the U.S. ramps up the attack on the Iraqi city of Ramadi, hundreds of families are fleeing the city to escape the fighting between al-Qaida and the U.S.
  45. 2006 Wednesday: The Iraq Study Group- the ISG- says that the situation in Iraq is ‘grave’ and ‘deteriorating.’  Funny how the Democrats- with the exception of Senator Bernie Sanders voted to go to war in Iraq and then when the weapons of mass destruction did not materialize, they stabbed President George W. Bush in the back.  We at the AICPENDBLOG.COM believe that this is one of the earliest examples of Deep State manipulation- they encouraged Bush #43 to go to war in Iraq, an unnecessary war to be sure, one that destabilized the entire region and put Iran on an upward trajectory.
  46. 2007 Thursday: President George W. Bush announced a plan to freeze interest rates on subprime mortgages held by hundreds of thousands of homeowners.  Elsewhere, we learn that the CIA has destroyed interrogation tapes from at least jihadists detained at a CIA black site prison.  Everyone wants to punish the Central Intelligence Agency for doing what must be done in the War on Terror so stop with the whining liberals.  Enough is enough!
  47. 2008 Saturday: After 28 years in a coma, heiress Martha “Sunny” von Bülow dies at age 76.  Her husband was tried twice for trying to murder her with an insulin overdose.  The first time he was convicted while the second time, he was acquitted.
  48. 2009 Sunday: Tomorrow a big Climate Change summit opens in Copenhagen and President Barack Hussein Obama is going to be one of the big speakers there.  Woo-oo. Fascinating thing, a decade later, the world is still kicking although the liberals continue telling us each year, we have arrived at the point of no return.  Meanwhile, NATO pledges another 7,000 troops for the war in Afghanistan.
  49. 2010 Monday: Wikileaks releases a diplomatic cable in which, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton says that ‘wealthy Saudis are the largest provider of funds to Sunni terrorist groups.’  The cables also suggest that the Arab Persian Gulf states and Saudi Arabia agree with Israel’s view that the Iranian nuclear program is moving along too fast and that a first strike against them might be the best way to go.
  50. 2011 Tuesday: In Kabul, Afghanistan, the so-called ‘religion of peace’- Islam- strikes again.  During the festival of Ashura, a terrorist attack targets a Shiite shrine killing at least 50 worshippers and injuring hundreds more.  WTF is wrong with you people?   The nation’s President Hamid Karzai cancels a planned trip to the United Kingdom to deal with the aftermath of this diabolical attack.
  51. 2012 Thursday: Ed Cassidy, famed drummer for the lifetime of the rock band, Spirit[v], from the early 1960s until 1997 when his stepson and co-founder died, died from cancer at age 89.  Meanwhile, Huw Lloyd Langton—longtime guitarist with the British space-rock band, Hawkwind[vi] (1969-1971 / 1979-1988)—died on this date.  Elsewhere, the toll from Typhoon Bopha that devastated the southern Philippine Islands has killed at least 477 people and displaces tens of thousands of citizens.
  52. 2013 Friday: Shanghai officials deliver the highest-level health warning as a record level of smog shrouds the city; this caused hundreds of flights to undergo cancellation or delays.  Meanwhile, the people of South Africa mourn the loss of Nelson Mandela, a man who went from being a ‘second-class citizen’ to being one of the world’s great leaders.
  53. 2014 Saturday: President Obama announces that he is going to maintain troop levels in Afghanistan to counter the rebirth of the Taliban and the arrival of ISIS elements.  He pledged that he would reduce troop levels to 9,800; however, if the region stabilizes, he plans to reduce levels to 5,500 before leaving office.  Meanwhile, NASA awakens its New Horizons spacecraft after having launched it nine years earlier and having crossed more than 3 billion miles, so it will be ready for its fly-by of Pluto and its planned data collection sometime in January 2015.
  54. 2015 Sunday: After being given 48 hours to pull their troops out of northern Iraq, Turkey says it’s going nowhere.  The Turkish president claims the troops are there as part of an international force with which to train Iraqis to fight the ISIS trash carrying attacks in the region.  No, the Turks are causing trouble.  We hope someone deals with President Erdogan in the time-honored way of deposing dictators.
  55. 2016 Tuesday: In Syria, government forces seize three-quarters of eastern Aleppo from the ISIS filth infesting the place like the vermin they are.  The fighting is tough and the casualties high yet the ISIS Untermenschen are being forced into a shrinking perimeter.  Meanwhile, U.S.-supported Iraqi forces are stepping up the fight to reclaim Mosul from the ISIS sub-humans holding the city.  Elsewhere, President Barack Hussein Obama gives his final national security address.
  56. 2017 Wednesday: President Donald Trump declared Jerusalem[vii] to be Israel’s capital, defying warnings from the Palestinians and others around the world that he would be destroying hopes for Mideast peace.  Meanwhile, Time magazine named as its Person of the Year the “Silence Breakers,” those who had shared stories about sexual assault and harassment.  Elsewhere, the Republican-controlled House of Representatives votes 364-58 against a bill put forth by the Democrats to impeach President Trump.   Democratic dimwit Congressman Al Green of Texas put forth the bill saying, “Donald John Trump, by causing such harm to the society of the United States, is unfit to be president and warrants impeachment, trial and removal from office.”  Congressman Green- you, sir, are unfit for office.  Resign NOW.
  57. 2018 Thursday: Flag-waving crowds lined the tracks as a special train carried the flag-draped casket of former President George H.W. Bush from the Houston area to College Station, Texas, for burial on the grounds of his presidential library.
  58. 2019 Friday: Today was the deadline for the Trump administration to determine if they were going to dispatch a legal team to the House Judiciary Committee’s  Monday, December 09, 2019, impeachment hearings.  With a half hour to go, the Trump administration’s attorneys said, “NOPE,” leaving Chairman Jerrold Nadler in shock, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi enfeebled and chomping at the bit, and House Intel Committee Chairman Adam Schiff[viii] stunned.  Meanwhile, unemployment hit the lowest since 1969 at 3.5-percent[ix].  The creation of 226,000 new jobs in November 2019 was higher than expected and economists were excited across the country[x]. Meanwhile, a member of the Saudi Arabian air force, training with the U.S. military in Pensacola, Florida, opened fire on fellow airmen, killing three and wounding seven and then died when local law enforcement officers shot the POS dead.  King Salman apologized to President Trump and to the United States for the actions of the murderous scumbag.
  59. 2020 Sunday: Folks, here are the numbers for the Xi Jinping Yellow Bat Flu- the -disease the Chi-Coms manufactured in their Wuhan biowarfare lab and their allies, the Democratic Party- used to throw the election to “Pro-China Joe” Biden, aka “Chi-Com Joe”:  Here are the statistics for the planet as a whole: 67,008,357 confirmed cases, +551,326, 1,535,100, confirmed deaths, +7,777, and 43,037,012 confirmed recoveries, +312,117.  Next, here are the stats for the United States, the intended target of the Chinese-engineered Wuhan Virus pandemic: 14,879,831 confirmed cases, up 180,844 from yesterday’s reporting, 285,864 confirmed deaths, UP 1,225, and 6,971,281 confirmed recoveries, UP 42,261.  Next, in the three states in which, the world-famous American Institute of Culinary Politics-the Elemental News of the Day employs chef-bloggers- California, Hawaii, and Washington- here are the stats, California first: 1,355,971 confirmed cases, 19,886 confirmed deaths (number readjusted DOWN from last week), and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Next here are the numbers for Hawaii: 18,841 confirmed cases, 262 confirmed deaths, and no longer any mention of confirmed recoveries at this point.  Finally, here are the stats for leftist-Marxist-socialist hellhole of Washington: 184,079 confirmed cases, 3,065 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Let’s look at one other state: Montana- currently, they have 67,875 confirmed cases, 736 confirmed deaths, and 50,287 confirmed recoveries.  Let’s look at Israel’s numbers now that Mo is living there: 344,906 confirmed cases, 2,917 confirmed deaths, and 327,972 confirmed recoveries.  Meanwhile, amazing as it seems, President Donald J. Trump’s personal attorney, the man fighting to expose the BULLS**T the Democrats, their allies in Canada, Iran, Russia, and their masters in Beijing pulled off on November 3, 2020, now has the Chi-Vi.  That means that he, the state legislatures before which he appeared,  and all the rest of the people in the fight should have to quarantine if we are going to follow the bull crap the Democrats are forcing upon us.  Hydroxychloroquine and Regeneron, Mr. Mayor.   Speaking of the disease, Senator Bill Cassidy, R-LA, says the COVID-19 relief bill is not a stimulus bill.
  60. 2020 Sunday A: In Washington state, thugs in Antifa and Black Lives Matter go on the offensive against Trump supporters beating, assaulting, and threatening them.   Remember: the ONLY GOOD COMMUNIST is a DEAD COMMUNIST.  Meanwhile, Senator Kelly Loeffler, R-GA, debates radical leftist ‘Reverend’ Raphael Warnock.  She points out his numerous flaws but left out one key thing: she should have asked the ‘Reverend’ ‘You said the U.S. military cannot serve God and be in the military at the same time, sir.  Can YOU serve God and Karl Marx at the same time?”  She should have asked this Che Guevara-loving POS this poignant question in front of a national audience and watched him sputter and stammering.  Elsewhere, U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo- and loads of other countries around the world- are blasting elections in Venezuela.  Say- didn’t the Democrats use the same systems and software Nicolas Maduro uses to steal elections in HIS country in OUR country?  WTF is going on here?
  61. 2020 Sunday B: Here are the NFL scores for today beginning with a recap of Thursday Night Football’s game: (1) New Orleans Saints, 21 (10-2) @ Atlanta Falcons, 16 (4-8) Thursday Night 5:20 P.M. Here are today’s games: (2) Detroit Lions, 34 (5-7) @ Chicago Bears, 30 (5-7) 10:00 A.M. (3) Indianapolis Colts, 26 (8-4) @ Houston Texans, 20 (4-8) 10:00 A.M. (4) Cincinnati Bengals, 7 (2-9-1) @ Miami Dolphins, 19 (8-4) 10:00 A.M. (5) Jacksonville Jaguars, 24 (1-11) @ Minnesota Vikings, 27 (6-6) OT 10:00 A.M.  (6) Las Vegas Raiders, 31 (7-5) @ New York Jets, 28 (0-12) 10:00 A.M.  (7) Cleveland Browns, 41 (9-3) @ Tennessee Titans, 35 (8-4) 10:00 A.M.  (8) Los Angeles Rams, 38 (8-4) @ Arizona Cardinals, 28 (6-6) 1:05 P.M.  (9) New York Giants, 17 (5-7) @ Seattle Seahawks, 12 (8-4) 1:05 P.M.  (10) Philadelphia Eagles, 16 (3-8-1) @ Green Bay Packers, 30 (9-3) 1:25 P.M.  (11) New England Patriots, 45 (6-6) @ Los Angeles Chargers, 0 (3-9) 1:25 P.M.  (12)  Denver Broncos, 16 (4-8) @ Kansas City Chiefs, 22 (11-1) 5:15 P.M.
  62. 2020 Sunday C: Today, we learn that the U.S. State Department and U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo have ended five Chi-Com-U.S. interactions- (about time)- the Policymakers Educational China Trip Program, the U.S.-Chi-Com Friendship Program, the U.S.-Chi-Com Leadership Program, the U.S.-Chi-Com Transpacific Exchange Program, and the Hong Kong Educational and Cultural Program.  About time.  Each of these programs permits the Chi-Coms to SPY on the United States as well as to put money into the back pockets of far too many Democrat politicians (see Sen. Dianne Feinstein, for one- she had a MSS chauffeur for 20 years).   All of these programs should have never been started and/or should have been terminated long ago.
  63. 2020 Sunday D:  Folks, we encourage you to stick around and discover what the Chi-Coms and their Democratic Party lackeys are up to today.

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

Wanting to round the week out today, we present a DVD release by Foreigner from May 18, 2004, “Foreigner: All Access.”  The lineup includes Mick Jones (guitars), Lou Gramm (vocals), Bruce Turgon (bass/backing vocals), Jeff Jacobs (keyboards/backing vocals), Thom Gimbel (guitars, vocals, keyboards, and horns), Denny Carmassi (drums/backing vocals), and a load of other musicians to round out the sound.  The band would go through reformation after reformation at times with original vocalist Gramm in, out, in, and out but what the heck, this is a smoking set of 11 classic Foreigner tunes and for a brief moment, one can return to the good old days if one but closes one’s eyes.  Please, seek this one out, the price is right, the sound quality amazing, and you will be so glad you purchased this, especially if a family member or other loved one is a diehard fan of chunky rock and roll with lush vocal tapestries and the fire of desire to please the fans.  You will be glad you bought it, that’s for sure.

FOOTNOTES:

[i] Not sure when we will begin promoting the music of R.E.M. but look forward to doing so as they are awesome.

[ii] We began promoting the music of both the Beatles and the band’s individual components on Friday, 04-November-2016 through Sunday, 11-June-2018.  Besides the Beatles, we also promoted the music of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, and George Harrison as well as the Traveling Wilburys.    We hope you will seek them out and consider adding these albums to your collection.  We thank you.

[iii] We shared the music of the Stones beginning Tuesday, 22-March-2016 through Sunday, 28-August-2016.  This included the members’ solo projects.  We sure as heck hope you check out the Rolling Stones, Mick Jagger, Brian Jones, Keith Richard, Charlie Watts, Bill Wyman, and Mick Taylor.  Ronnie Wood you can find during the presentation of the Faces.

[iv] We look forward to doing the music of Roy Orbison and other old rockers sometime in the next decade.  Please, stay tuned for further information.

[v] We began promoting the music of Spirit and of Randy California beginning on Monday, 18-June-2012 through Friday, 10-August-2012.  Please seek them out and consider adding their music to your collection.

[vi] We hope to present the music of this UK space rock band, Hawkwind, sometime in the next five years or so.  Please remain vigilant for additional information.

[vii] Jerusalem IS the capital of Israel and it took President Donald J. Trump to be the one to officially recognize the city as such, fulfilling a campaign promise that numerous other U.S. presidential candidates and presidents swore to do.  The world did not meltdown, the region did not explode, and the Palestinians remain as worthless as ever.  Advice to people living in the Gaza Strip- how making the Gaza Strip ‘great again’ instead of fucking around like a bunch of worthless barbarians?

[viii] This scumbag finds himself in his own trouble for spying on House Intel minority ranking member, Devin Nunes, as well as of Rudy Giuliani, the president’s personal attorney.  He finds himself in his own bind for overstepping his powers and could in turn face impeachment or removal from Congress on his own.

[ix] It is important to note that the statistics demonstrate the LOWEST black, Latino, and Asian unemployment numbers EVER so why won’t the flipping Democrats pass the USMCA which would add more jobs to the U.S. economy?  Because the Democrats HATE President Trump and want to destroy him.  Also, while the U.S. added jobs, Canada lost more than 71,000 jobs during the same period.

[x] The DOW finished UP at 337.27 (28,015.06), the S&P 500 at 28.48 (3,145.91), and the NASDAQ at 85.83 (8,656.53). It is a grand time to be an American and the Democrats are doing everything possible to trash the country because they know they are going to lose the November 2020 Elections BIG TIME.

TODAY IN HISTORY—JULY 05, 2020

VV. 2017 Wednesday: Numbers for the number of dead and wounded in Chicago over the Fourth of July weekend are appalling: 101 shot with at least 15 dead and yet NO one wants to address the elephant in the room, the fact that this is Black on Black genocide. The reason these and other horrifying statistics are swept under the rug is because Democrats have been in control since the early 1930s. WTF! Where is Black Lives Matter when you need the communist scum? Nowhere to be found.

FOOTNOTES:

[i] We hope to promote the music of both the Band and its members sometime in the next 10-15 years.  The presentation would include the solo catalogs of Robbie Robertson, Rick Danko, Levon Helm, Garth Hudson, and Richard Manuel.

[ii] We promoted the music of Steppenwolf, beginning on Friday, 25-May-2012 through Sunday, 17-June-2012.  You definitely need to check the music of this iconic band out ASAP.

[iii] Sadly, Detective was a short-lived band but one that had the potential to be as legendary as Led Zeppelin, if only Disco was not trashing the airwaves.  You will find their three albums on: (1) Tuesday, 29-July-2014, (2) Thursday, 31-July-2014, and (3) Friday, 01-August-2014.  We hope you will seek them out.

[iv] When the time will be right for the presentation of Elvis Presley is unknown but if we are still going strong in the 2030s, we expect to do so.  Please, stay tuned.

[v] We look forward to promoting the music of Aerosmith one day.  We hope within the next 8-10 years.  Remain vigilant.

[vi] Look for the Clash sometime within the next 5-10 years.  We know you will enjoy them.

[vii] We shared the music of the Rolling Stones (and the group’s individual members) beginning Tuesday, 22-March-2016 through Sunday, 28-August-2016.  This included the members solo projects.

*It should be clear to all interested, well-informed readers that the Democrats could care less about black lives unless, of course, they can use their agonies to accomplish their perverted political goals.  Ask yourselves, why do blacks face murder and mayhem week after week in BLUE cities across the nation?  Why are Planned Parenthood centers predominantly near black and other minority communities?  Because to Democrats, ‘black lives don’t matter.’  Why then do blacks and other minorities continue voting for Democrats?

In the Golden State, there are 66,773 confirmed cases and 2,745 confirmed deaths but no mention of recoveries. In Hawaii, we have 732 confirmed cases, 17 confirmed deaths, and 561 confirmed recoveries. #PF001.1u Dance Songs #21 04-20-2020 (400)

The record business being what it is, Pink Floyd released a ‘best of’ compilation effort that was truly an amalgam of re-recorded tunes and alternate versions of tunes from preceding albums.  “A Collection of Great Dance Songs” came out on November 23, 1981 and fills a gap in the band’s career as the end of the original lineup was coming soon due to exhaustion, anger with one another, lack of money even though tours were big-sellers and albums even more so.  We hope you will seek this one out and consider adding it to your growing collection of nothing but the absolute best in rock music; you can thank us later.
