Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene challenges AOC aka the Fly to debate her Green New Deal- and now the Fly is seeking Capitol Hill cops to protect her…what the hell?

IF there was ever a reason to go to war with Canada, this is among the top reasons. Canada- force YOUR company to cooperate or Americans will begin boycotting your crap-hole country. Speaking of 2020, loser Congresswoman Liz Cheney, RINO-WY, the darling of the Democratic Party now that she has lost her position as GOP Conference chair- says she ‘regrets voting for Donald Trump in 2020.’ Oh, really- YOU voted for President Trump? We find that difficult to believe.

Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene challenges AOC aka the Fly to debate her Green New Deal- and now the Fly is seeking Capitol Hill cops to protect her…what the hell?

  1. 2021 Friday: COVID-19 STATISTICS FOR THE PLANET AS A WHOLE: 162,494,223 confirmed cases, +663,686, 3,370,273  confirmed deaths, +12,009 and 141,430,540 confirmed recoveries, +78,851.  Next, here are the stats for the United States: 33,656,062 confirmed cases, UP 29,782 from yesterday’s reporting, 599,220 confirmed deaths, UP 626,[i] and 26,706,801 confirmed recoveries, UP 40,953.  We genuinely appreciate COVID Live Update World Meter for being honest in covering ALL the numbers- God bless them.[ii]

Currently, Joe is shy 176,461 deaths.

  6. 2021 Friday E: U.S. NATIONAL DEBT AND GASOLINE PRICES IN THE FOUR STATES IN WHICH WE HAVE CHEF-AUTHORS- Thanks to the Biden administration, gasoline prices continue rising by the day- in California, gasoline prices have risen to over $4.121 per gallon, $2.896 in Florida, $3.850 in Hawaii, and $3.530 in Washington state.[ix]    Let’s look at one other location- Tennessee: $2.889.  We are going to do something else that could be fun- gasoline prices around the world going from cheapest to highest.  The next country on the list has the next lowest gasoline price in the world- Azerbaijan: $2.227 per U.S. Gallon.[x]  Meanwhile, here is a snapshot of the U.S. National Debt for today: $28,286,444,952,247 and the Democrats are adding TRILLIONS of dollars to it, not BILLIONS but flipping TRILLIONS.[xi]  Cloward and Piven causing problems like they always do.
  7. 2021 Friday F: JOE BIDEN’S BORDER CATASTROPHE- Soon, the centurions guarding our southern border may step aside.  U.S. Customs and Border Patrol officers are chafing beneath the ultra-left-wing policies of the Biden regime.  Senator Tommy Tuberville, R-AL, says that CBP and ICE are being overwhelmed by the flood pouring across the border (which is why we encourage the laying in of minefields, anti-personnel, anti-vehicle, anti-boat obstacles, layers of concertina razor wire out into the middle of the Rio Grande as well as Foo Gas pits (liquified napalm) in high-traffic areas for illegal aliens.  We must do whatever we must do to save our country).
  8. 2021 Friday G: FOREIGN NEWS / OVERSEAS NEWS- thanks to the massive cash infusion dumped into the laps of the Palestinian thugs, rockets continue flying across the border between Gaza and Israel- as well as southbound from Lebanon and westbound from Syria- into Israel.  The Israelis are taking them down but the barrages are growing and the feeble Joe Biden regime won’t stand with Israel.  Where are the other signatories of the Abraham Accords?  Why are they NOT demanding the human fecal matter in Gaza stop the attacks?  In other horribly shocking news, the United States is sending ADDITIONAL FINANCIAL AID to the Palestinian maggots in Gaza.  We say the only aid they need is a few dozen neutron bombs.  Reclaim the land.
  9. 2021 Friday H: COVID-19 UPDATES AND ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I-  President Donald J. Trump touts his vaccines and says that ‘Joe Biden had NOTHING to do with them.’  True, absolutely true.  Meanwhile, evangelical pastor Franklin Graham is warning Christians NOT to wait too long and miss out on getting the Chi-Vi vaccines.  Uh, Pastor Graham- we are not going to get this crap injected into our bodies.  It is unlike any other vaccine in the world.  It is RNA-based as no other vaccine in the history of medicine is.   Elsewhere, Wal-Mart says that vaccinated patrons will no longer have to wear face masks while New York and New Jersey- no matter what ‘the science’ says are going to require facial coverings for everyone.  Period.
  10. 2021 Friday I: COVID-19 UPDATES AND ADDITIONAL INFORMATION II- Next, drooling old Joe Biden says ‘it’s a great day that the masks can come off’…yet, somehow they aren’t.  Speaker Nancy “Mumbles” Pelosi says that ‘NO matter what the Centers for Disease Control says, everyone in the House chamber will wear masks except when speaking on the floor.’  Oh, well.   Elsewhere, a new poll says that young people believe that in order for everyone to return to work and/or school, they are going to have to get the Bat Fu Yuk vaccine or no go.  The youngsters have drunk long and deep from the well of Kool-Aid.  Speaking of this insanity, Delta Airlines says (get this) ‘ALL new hires must get the China Virus vaccine but existing employees, well, they don’t have to…’  WTF?
  11. 2021 Friday J: VOTING INTEGRITY / FRAUDULENT AND STOLEN ELECTION NEWS-  As if we required additional proof that the 2020 Elections were corrupt in a variety of states, Dominion Voting Systems WON’T provide the passwords for their tabulators to the Arizona Senate’s investigation into election integrity last November.
  12. 2021 Friday K: POLITICAL NEWS I-  the House GOP elected Congresswoman Elise Stefanik, R-NY, to fill the shoes of the disloyal Congresswoman Liz Cheney, RINO-WY, today.  President Donald J. Trump gave her a thumb’s up seal of approval.   Speaking of the president, we hear that MAGA rallies will commence soon, most likely in the early summer.[xii]  Fantastic.  Next, Governor Doug Ducey, RINO-AZ, now refuses to accept any additional federal money for expanded unemployment benefits and will instead offer EVERY employee who returns to work a $2,000 incentive.  Excellent.   In other news, Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez aka AOC aka Baby Evita aka the Fly aka Sandy Cortez is expressing TERROR of Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-GA 14th congressional district.  Congresswoman Greene is puzzled as to WHY the so-called “FLY” is fearful of debating her Green New Deal with Congresswoman Greene?  If she believes in the GND, then she needs to debate it in public.
  13. 2021 Friday L: POLITICAL NEWS II- Recently, an Antifa protester was heard to say, “I CAN’T WAIT UNTIL BLACK PEOPLE ARE LYNCHING WHITE PEOPLE.”  So much for Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.  (Note- we predicted years back that it would be a few years before Antifa and BLM began carrying out their own beheading videos of people they claim to be enemies.  That’s why we have guns).  Next, Governor Ron DeSantis, R-FL, has labeled Hamas what it is: a terrorist group.  Good.  Next, the U.S. House of Representatives agrees on a ‘bipartisan panel’ to investigate the events the ‘Capitol Hill Riots’ of January 06, 2021, the largest FALSE FLAG OPERATION in the history of America and her politics.   We learn from Tucker Carlson this evening on Fox News Channel that the U.S. Department of Justice has loads of unreleased photographic evidence that could blow the entire sham out of the water.  This, we gotta see.  Moving on, a recent Rasmussen poll says that liberal news viewers are woefully uneducated on the massive rise in violent crime across the country.
  14. 2021 Friday M: POLITICAL NEWS III- A federal judge in Alabama upholds an anti-riot bill.  Next, a new anti-abortion bill in Texas is expected to receive Governor Greg Abbott’s signature.  Meanwhile, Governor Gavin “The Smiler” Newsom is fighting to protect his job now and is offering $30 million tax breaks to initiate new film and TV projects, the very same ones he drove out of the state to seek less-expensive locations for their work.  Next, since Amazon had access to a mailbox used by its employees, the union vote they won in the Peach State could be overturned.  Whoa.  We are surprised the workers ‘didn’t vote’ to unionize.  That seemed mighty peculiar that all of a sudden, the became lovers of Jeff Bezos.  Wow.
  15. 2021 Friday N: JOE BIDEN REGIME NEWS I- In another detestable (and anti-American) Biden regime news, ‘Usurper Joe’ is going to cancel President Donald J. Trump’s ‘Garden of American Heroes’ project.  What a bum.   Speaking of the ‘drooler,’ Congressman Tim Burchett, R-TN 2nd congressional district, says the ‘Joe Biden White House is out of control.’  Meanwhile, regarding the aforementioned continuation of mask mandates, Joe Biden- always out of step with whatever is going on, says ‘it’s a great day for America that we no longer have to wear masks.’  What?  In other Biden regime news, Joe tossed out President Donald J. Trump’s ban on illegal aliens who would become burdensome to American taxpayers because of illness.  That’s great, Joe.  Yet another chink in the Cloward & Piven chain of crumbling the United States.
  16. 2021 Friday O: BUSINESS NEWS- Congresswoman Lauren Boebert, R-CO 3rd congressional district, says it’s ‘appalling’ that the $5 million ransom was paid to Darkside, the company that devastated the Colonial Pipeline.  Speaking of Darkside, they are now said to be targeting Japan’s Toshiba.   Joe Biden, however, won’t admit to the $4-5 million ransom being paid to the Russian government-approved hackers.  (Note- when Russia was said to be paying bounties for the deaths of Americans, they wanted President Trump to go to war with the Russkies.  Seems like Joe should be dropping nukes atop Moscow right now).  Elsewhere, even with the Colonial pipeline up and running, the gas crunch is affecting Washington, D.C.  Go figure.
  17. 2021 Friday P: MISCELLANEOUS NEWS I- California’s Vandenberg Air Force Base will be renamed Space Force Base.  Elsewhere, Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt, GOP, has been booted from the Tulsa Race Riot Panel over him being insensitive to the plight of people of color by signing a bill banning Critical Race Theory.  Next, Columbus, Ohio, has settled on a payment of $10 million to the family of Andre Hill whom a law enforcement officer shot dead last year.  Like the settlement for the family of George Floyd prior to the trial of Minneapolis Police Officer Derek Chauvin so, too, does this settlement come ahead of the trial of now-fired Police Officer Adam Coy who also is facing a murder charge.  Officer Coy won’t receive a fair trial either.
  18. 2021 Friday Q: WOKEISM / WOKE / WOKIES- Poor Chrissy Teigen just got dumped by Target who canceled her line of cookware once information came to light that she is a cyberbully.  Wow.  Didn’t see that one coming.   In other WOKE news, Norman Public Schools in Oklahoma paid $22,750 to equity trainers to indoctrinate their students.  What a load of crap.  Let’s return to the DREAM of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.- he had us on the right track and now, WOKE is everything.  Sad.   Speaking of WOKE, New York Governor Andrew “Killer” Cuomo aka the Love Gov aka the Gropin’ Gov’ still cannot cop to his sexual harassment claims by putting the onus on the women he was feeling up.  What a guy.
  19. 2021 Friday R: CALIFORNIA LOTTERY RESULTS / MEGA-MILLIONS DRAW- Here are the numbers for the Mega-Millions Draw #1659 with a $480 million jackpot on the line: 03, 18, 41, 44, 68, and Mega 03.  Out of 172,936 winning tickets, the highest winner was one person who had FIVE numbers for a prize of $894,156.  The winning ticket was sold at King’s Beverage Company in South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150.

. Meanwhile, in the fight for Dien Bien Phu in French Indochina, two American pilots- James B. McGovern- nicknamed “Earthquake McGoon” for a comic strip character of the time and his co-pilot Wallace Buford bit the dust today. McGovern- flying his 45th supply run to Dien Bien Phu with a full load of ammunition for his French allies suffered AA damage to the tail. The plane was unable to complete its mission and as the C-119 struggled to make it away from enemy troops clipped the side of a mountain flying low through a valley, flipped over, and blew up killing the crew. These were the first two American casualties of the Vietnam War.

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

On December 13, 1971, after working long hours in the studio and performing gigs, Badfinger returned with “Straight Up,” an album that should have been a massive commercial success but which the critics panned.  The album featured the same lineup of Pete Ham (lead and backing vocals, lead guitar, and keyboards), Tom Evans (lead and backing vocals, bass guitar), Joey Molland (rhythm and lead guitars, lead and backing vocals), and Mike Gibbins (drums and percussion, backing and lead vocals) as well as George Harrison who basically joined the band and added his signature slide guitar as well as other notables such as Leon Russell and Gary Wright.  Critics slammed the effort but the group had three producers on the album beginning with Geoff Emerick who did their previous effort followed by ex-Beatle George Harrison who then left the band to bring his Concert for Bangladesh to fruition followed by the Nazz’ Todd Rundgren so there were inconsistencies throughout the effort.  Still, the song “Day After Day” was a big seller and will forever be associated with this gifted band.  We hope you will seek it out and consider adding it to your collection- you will be glad you did.

LL. 1954 Tuesday A: The attempt to reach Dien Bien Phu by French Union forces fighting from the south in Operation Condor had stalled. Following the name change from the Iveys to Badfinger, the band released its first album, “Magic Christian Music” on January 09, 1970.  The band wrote several songs from the movie score of “The Magic Christian” and then did an album with a similar names with additional tunes.  The lineup featured Pete Ham (lead and backing vocals, lead guitar, and keyboards), Tom Evans (lead and backing vocals, rhythm guitar), Ron Griffiths (bass guitar, lead and backing vocals), and Mike Gibbins (drums and percussion, backing and lead vocals) as well as famed pianist Nicky Hopkins and Paul McCartney who wrote the band’s first big hit, the one with which future generations of music fans would forever associate the group, “Come and Get It.”  What better way to introduce one’s ears to one of the greatest unsung bands of rock-and-roll history, one gifted with soaring highs and horrible depressing lows.  Please, seek it out and consider adding it to your collection- you will be glad you did.

DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2022: 595

82. TODAY IN HISTORY—TUESDAY, MARCH 23, 2021 UPDATE A:

DAY SIXTY-THREE OF THE BIDEN ADMINISTRATION

It would appear that the world will soon learn about the U.S. government’s files on Unidentified Flying (and Submersible) Objects- perhaps this will unite the world

  • 2021 Tuesday: YESTERDAY’S NEWS CATCHUP- Dare we say this but the name of the individual who shot up the King Sooper Grocery Store in Boulder, Colorado, goes by the name of Ahmad Al-Aliwi Alissa.  Allah Akbar, anyone?  Meanwhile, Robert Aaron Long, the perp who carried out the Atlanta Massage Parlors Massacre found himself in court charged with ‘malice murder’ and ‘aggravated assault.’  The poor bastard was trying to conquer a sex addiction, something he will be unable to conquer in prison as everyone knows what goes on in there.  Sad.  Elsewhere, in the trial of former Minneapolis Police Officer Derek Chauvin, after seating 2 alternate jurors yesterday giving the trial a full 12 plus the two, seated a 15th today in case one of the other ones drops or is forced out for some as yet unanticipated reason.
  • 2021 Tuesday A: BIDEN BORDER CATASTROPHE I- White House Press Secretary Jen “Circle Back” Psaki could not answer a reporter’s question as to WHY illegal alien mobs receive better treatment than do National Guard members protecting Fort Pelosi in Washington, D.C.  National Guard members have had to sleep in frigid parking garages and have been served undercooked, raw, or poor quality food while illegals are pampered like Roman emperors.  Something is NOT right here.
  • 2021 Tuesday B: BIDEN BORDER CATASTROPHE II- Regarding the border mess, the Biden administration continues trying to deflect blame for the ongoing disaster onto President Donald J. Trump’s back.  Not working very well seeing as how President Trump handed Joe Biden a secure border.   Regarding the Biden Border Catastrophe, 40-percent in a recent poll blame Joe Biden 100-percent for the border catastrophe while 27-percent (the uneducated) blame President Donald J. Trump.  Another 12-percent blame Congress.  What everyone agrees on is the border must be secured NOW.  Speaking of the CRISIS, “Kooky Kamala” Harris says her administration received a f-up border from the previous administration and when asked if she was going to visit the border anytime soon, laughed it off.[i]
  • 2021 Tuesday C: BIDEN BORDER CATASTROPHE III-  the Republicans are dangling the bait of amnesty for DACA recipients, i.e., the much-beloved DREAMers (yeah, right- deport all of them NOW) in exchange for the Democrats agreeing to fix the broken farmworker visa system.  You know, we used to have the Bracero Program which allowed temporary workers to cross to and from the southern border to work in the United States and then to return home after the season ended.  What is so frigging difficult about this?  Just fix it and stop the tidal wave of illegals rampaging through our country.  Enough already!  Meanwhile, we learn that only 13-percent of family units crossing the southern border are turned back into Mexico.  Wow.
  • 2021 Tuesday D: LAW ENFORCEMENT/LEGAL NEWS- Attorney Sidney Powell files a motion to dismiss suit in court to have the bogus lawsuit filed by the (allegedly) corrupt Dominion Voting Systems out of Canada.  These scumbags filed a frivolous lawsuit against all those who pointed out the fact that Dominion coupled with Hugo Chavez’s Smartmatic software STOLE the 2020 Presidential Election and threw it to decrepit old Joe Biden.   In other news, Regent University hosted a lengthy symposium on how the election fraud in 2020 occurred what with Michelle Bachman and Peter Navarro providing reams of evidence showing the crime committed before our eyes.  Elsewhere, the Massachusetts attorney general seeks to vacate thousands of drug convictions that were handed out using lab ‘evidence’ with which law enforcement tampered so as to achieve convictions.
  • 2021 Tuesday E: U.S. POLITICAL NEWS-  Congressman Mo Brooks, R-AL 5th congressional district announced today that he is running to fill the seat being vacated by retiring Senator Richard Shelby.  Good luck, Mo!  Meanwhile, Congressman James Comer, R-KY 1st congressional district, blasts the Biden tax plan as being little more than a wealth redistribution scheme.  Elsewhere, by a vote of 68-29, the U.S. Senate confirms the nomination of Boston Mayor Marty Walsh to become the next U.S. Secretary of the Labor Department.  From what we hear, the guy is a labor hack.  In other news, Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-GA 14th congressional district says that ‘efforts to expel me will fail.’  Next, Senator Tammy Duckworth, D-IL, says she won’t confirm anymore WHITE nominees sent to the U.S. Senate by the Biden administration until some Asian-Americans begin getting nominated for high posts- like what?  Ambassador to Micronesia?  Finally, Joe Biden says we can ban assault weapons.  Go for it.
  • 2021 Tuesday F: ECONOMIC AND BUSINESS NEWS I-  Economist Steve Moore pointed out today how the $1,400 stimulus checks sent to, uh, not just American taxpayers but to felons in prison, illegal aliens, and even savvy foreigners could end up costing $11,000 each.  Not good.  Meanwhile, U.S. corporations are urging elected Democrats to push through the DREAMER bill so as to get all this cheap labor employed while American workers are left without.   However, corporations may not get the last laugh as U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen is promising to boost the U.S. corporate tax rate back to where it was- if not higher- than before President Donald J. Trump was in office.  Corporate heads, DON’T you wish you had supported the 45th president when you had the opportunity?
  • 2021 Tuesday G: ECONOMIC AND BUSINESS NEWS II- In other PANDERING NEWS, the city of Evanston, Illinois, becomes the first city in the United States to provide reparations to black Americans.  Wait, isn’t Evanston a NORTHERN CITY where slavery did not exist?  WTF is up with that?  (Note- NO longer can Democrats in Evanston use ‘slavery’ as a club to bash the heads of their political enemies.  NEVER).  Elsewhere, Joe Biden’s economic advisers are warning fellow Democrats to prepare for an additional $3 trillion in spending, much of which will go into HIGH-SPEED RAIL?  WTF?  This has never worked in the United States nor will it.  Next, Microsoft is in talks to buy instant messaging app, Discord.   Finally, Regal Cinemas plans a grand reopening across the country beginning on April 02, 2021.
  • 2021 Tuesday H: FOREIGN AND OVERSEAS NEWS I- Following a complaint, the Federal Communications Commission- the FTC- is looking into allegations that two communist Chinese telecommunications companies, China Central Television and CGTN, for inserting propaganda into its broadcasts as well as showing coerced confessions by prisoners who have been mistreated.   Meanwhile, Russian officials say that Joe Biden has repeatedly rejected any open talks with Moscow so that mutual problems can be addressed and grievances aired.  That’s Joe for you.  Speaking of Joe Biden, he’s going to address a virtual summit of European leaders this upcoming Thursday just as he is supposed to address the American people via a press conference.  (Note- we expect neither will occur or if they do, they will come off as Max Headroom with multiple takes, Deep Fakes, and hidden earpieces.  What a country).  Moving on, Dems are pressuring Joe Biden to ease sanctions on communist Venezuela.  Elsewhere, Saudi Arabia is proposing a ceasefire with the Houthi rebels.  Finally, Israeli voters are taking another shot at Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
  • 2021 Tuesday I: Here are the COVID-19 statistics for the planet as a whole: 123,924,888 confirmed cases, +408,189, 2,727,640 (down from yesterday’s figure), confirmed deaths, +7,937, and 70,320,511 confirmed recoveries, +344,632.  Next, here are the stats for the United States: 30,104,069 confirmed cases, up 49,466 from yesterday’s reporting, 548,613 confirmed deaths, UP 442, and 117,037,711 confirmed recoveries.  Note- we are going to do our own estimates of recoveries based on percentages seeing as how the CDC won’t report them.
  • 2021 Tuesday J: NOTE: SINCE JOE BIDEN BECAME PRESIDENT ON JANUARY 20, 2021, THERE HAVE BEEN 220,146 CHI-VI DEATHS IN THE United States- feeble old Joe, in another three-and-a-half-weeks, you will have tied the total number witnessed by the Trump administration in nearly a year of the rampaging coronavirus pandemic.  In other COVID-19 news, the Centers for Disease Control are hammering AstraZeneca for using outdated data in their correlation of vaccine results.  Say it ain’t so.  Meanwhile, a new study suggests that low-dose aspirin can ward off the coronavirus.  Elsewhere, Pfizer is developing a pill with which to ward off the ‘VID.  (In other healthcare news, Governor Asa Hutchinson, R-AK, has signed a new antiabortion law into being, one that will challenge Roe v. Wade in the courts).   (Other News II- the teachers’ unions are pushing back on the CDC’s recommendations for social distancing: six feet or no teach).
  • 2021 Tuesday K: Next, in the three states in which, the world-famous American Institute of Culinary Politics-the Elemental News of the Day employs chef-bloggers- California, Hawaii, and Washington- here are the stats, California first: 3,646,171 confirmed cases, 57,799 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Next here are the numbers for Hawaii: 28,912 confirmed cases, 454 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Finally, here are the stats for Washington: 358,762 confirmed cases, 5,232 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Let us look at one other piece of U.S. territory- the commonwealth of the Northern Marianas: currently, they have 158 confirmed cases, 2 confirmed deaths, and 32 confirmed recoveries.  Now that Mo has relocated to Israel, let’s look at the statistics there: 828,764 confirmed cases, 6,109 confirmed deaths, and 807,653 confirmed recoveries.   Let’s look at one other country- Philippines, home of Ferdinand and Imelda Marcos (and her legendary shoe collection): 677,653 cases of the virus, 12,992 confirmed deaths and 578,461 confirmed recoveries.
  • 2021 Tuesday L:.   STOCK MARKET CLOSES/PRECIOUS AND RARE METALS: DOW Jones Industrial Average: 32,423.15, DOWN 308.05 points (-0.94%).  Next, the NASDAQ: 13,227.70, DOWN 149.84 points (-1.12%).  Finally, here are the stats for the S&P 500: 3,910.52, DOWN 30.07 points (-0.76%).  The price of GOLD is $1,726.20 per troy oz., +1.10 (+0.06%) while the price of SILVER is $25.11 per troy ounce, -0.14 (-0.54%).  The price of PLATINUM is $1,169.60 per troy oz, -5.00 (-0.43%) while the price of COPPER is $4.03 per pound, -0.05 (-1.14%).  The price of PALLADIUM is $2,605.00 per troy oz, -24.00 (-0.91%). The price of RHODIUM is $29,200.00 per troy oz.  The price of Light Sweet Crude Oil is $57.42 per barrel, -0.34 (-0.59%)  Currently, one-dollar U.S. = 6.52 Chi-Com yuan.   Meanwhile, one-dollar U.S. = 0.84 euros and in Mexican pesos equals 20.79.  As for Bitcoin, one U.S. greenback = 0.000018.   In Bangladeshi taka, one greenback equals 84.37.
  • 2021 Monday M: Thanks to the Biden administration, gasoline prices continue rising by the day- in California, gasoline prices have risen to over $3.882 per gallon, $3.612 in Hawaii, and $3.320 in Washington state.  Time to allow the country to return to fracking, there Joe Biden.   Meanwhile, here is a snapshot of the U.S. National Debt for today: $28,085,852,256,420 and the Democrats are adding TRILLIONS of dollars to it, not BILLIONS but flipping TRILLIONS.  Cloward and Piven running amok.  The country is going to crumble into nothingness.  IF the Chinese are going to become the masters of the world, well, what can we do except to join the band.
  • 2021 Tuesday N: UNIDENTIFIED FLYING (AND SUBMERSIBLE) OBJECT NEWS- It would appear that the American people will soon learn the truth about UFOs although whether anyone will go the distance and inform us that the persons operating these crafts are not of this world is unclear.  Louis Elizondo was on Fox News this morning discussing the phenomena that has vexed millions around the world since the Roswell crash in New Mexico shortly after the end of World War II.  Elizondo provides three explanations as to the origins of these craft.  First, that they are BLACK OPERATIONS vehicles that only certain governmental organizations are aware of while the second is that the technology could be that of our enemies.  The third is that they come from somewhere else although no one wants to definitively state they come from somewhere NOT of this Earth such as interdimensional or interplanetary or interstellar origins.  To be a UFO, there must be at least one of five observable characteristics such as (1) the ability to accelerate almost instantaneously (2) hypersonic speeds (3) low observability (4) the ability to operate on various planes such as air to water, water to air, and whatever else observers might see and (5) the ability to move sans any form of wings, engine exhausts, and other characteristics associated with earthly flight.
  • 2021 Tuesday O: FOREIGN/OVERSEAS NEWS II- North Korea sent a message to Joe Biden today in which, Kim Jong Un- the Great Leader II- fired off a barrage of short-range missiles into the sea this past weekend as a message to the White House that the Democratic Republic of North Korea does not like Joe Biden firing up the U.S.-South Korean military exercises.  The Department of Defense said today that ‘North Korea threatens the entire region.’  Wow.  We don’t think Chairman Kim likes Joe Biden very much.  It will be interesting to see what comes of this.  Meanwhile, the Biden administration still won’t say that labeling Vladimir Putin a ‘killer’ was the wrong thing to do.  Elsewhere, China lashes out at U.S. allies in a bid to thwart the agenda of “Joe Biden.”  The People’s Republic of China began slapping reciprocal sanctions onto the European Union for the pressure the ‘Biden administration’ and the EU are slapping onto Beijing for mistreating the citizens of Hong Kong, Tibet, and Uighur Muslims.  China says these are internal issues like mistreatment of minorities in the U.S. is an American internal issue.  Joe- the AICPENDBLOG.COM recommends YOU don’t start something with the PRC you can’t finish or win.
  • 2021 Tuesday P: Stick around for the results of the Mega Millions Draw #1644 tonight what with a $122 million pot on the line for some lucky winner(s). Here are the numbers: 12, 23, 35, 38, 55, and Mega 11.  Out of 80,188 winning tickets, the highest winners were three people who had FOUR numbers plus the Mega for a prize of $6,340 apiece.
  • 2021 Tuesday Q: END OF THE NIGHT NEWS FOREIGN/OVERSEAS III- We overlooked this story this morning but in a Rohingya refugee camp in Bangladesh, a massive fire broke out killing 560 people outright, thousands more injured, and causing the disappearances of another 400.  The U.N. says that 45,000 people have been displaced.   The Bangladeshis have given shelter to more than 1 million of their fellow Muslims whom the anti-Muslim government in neighboring Burma drove out back in 2017 via a concerted effort to kill all of them.  Next, even though Saudi Arabia proposed a ceasefire with the Houthi rebel scum in Yemen, the Houthis conducted an attack on Abha International Airport with a drone loaded up with explosives.   Had the ceasefire gone into effect, it would have permitted the reopening of the Sana’a airport in Yemen so that relief supplies could flow into the starving, impoverished civilians in the country.  Instead, we think the Saudis had better raze all Houthi-controlled areas.
  • 2021 Tuesday R: END OF THE NIGHT NEWS NATIONAL:  A 14th woman filed a lawsuit against Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson accusing him of exposing himself and performing lewd acts on them.  The quarterback denies all allegations and investigation is ensuing.  Unlike Governor Andrew “Killer” Cuomo, we believe that Watson is facing false accusations and we will wait to see where the evidence takes us.   Elsewhere, the ‘Biden administration’ announces all official documents will bear the moniker ‘Biden-Harris Administration.’  Speaking of old Joe, he says he is going to take America’s guns away since a crazed Syrian refugee POS shot up the Boulder, Colorado, grocery store killing 10 people, all of whom were WHITE.  No one seems to be shedding tears for them but oh, those poor Asian hookers- uh, excuse me, masseuses- in Atlanta, that is an entirely different story.  Meanwhile, Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley, DS-MA 7th congressional district, says ‘making Washington, D.C. a state is a matter of racial equity seeing as how there are loads of black folks living there.’

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

UFO came back on September 26, 2006 with its next studio album, “The Monkey Puzzle,” a superb rocker to be sure flavored with their unique blend of rock-and-roll.  The band was close to being original in that it featured Phil Mogg (vocals), Pete Way (bass/vocals), Paul Raymond (guitars/keyboards/vocals), Andy Parker (drums), and Vinnie Moore (guitars).  If you know anything about this band, you know they are one of the survivors from the glorious days- 1960s and 1970s- UFO coming along at the end of the ‘60s and continuing until modern times which puts them into a category with only the Rolling Stones and part-time Who.  Oh, yeah, Deep Purple remains with us, too, and years ago at the Google site, we spent close to a year presenting their music.  Thus, we are proud to share UFO with our WordPress.com fans.  Join us and celebrate, too!   You can find this album at Amazon.com as well as at Discogs, AllMusic, and other online venues…

  62. 2021 Friday A: Once again, the Mitch McConnell-led Senate blocks the $2,000 relief checks for the American people.   Here’s the thing that is angering the American people: the COVID-19 Relief Bill directs $174 billion to the American people and $762 billion to various other countries around the world.  This is insane.  What is even worse is that part of the $174 billion for the American people also includes $600 PLUS another $1,200 per illegal alien they did not get in the first stimulus.  The time is coming- so says Chef Vladimir Gdansk- that the Second Revolution coming will resemble more the French Revolution than the American Revolution.  People are angry that government NO LONGER REPRESENTS US!
  63. 2021 Friday B: Speaking of the Chi-Coms, here are the numbers for the Xi Jinping Bat Flu- Pelosi Pox:  Here are the statistics for the planet as a whole: 83,579,767 confirmed cases, +585,547, 1,820,923, confirmed deaths, +10,563, and 47,162,055 confirmed recoveries, +268,693.  Next, here are the stats for the United States, the intended target of the Chinese-engineered Wuhan Virus pandemic: 20,212,820 confirmed cases, up 302,146 from yesterday’s reporting, 349,397 confirmed deaths, UP 4,520, and 9,136,262 confirmed recoveries, UP 379,112.
  64. 2021 Friday C: Next, in the three states in which, the world-famous American Institute of Culinary Politics-the Elemental News of the Day employs chef-bloggers- California, Hawaii, and Washington- here are the stats, California first: 2,307,706 confirmed cases, 25,971 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Next here are the numbers for Hawaii: 21,644 confirmed cases, 288 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Finally, here are the stats for leftist-Marxist-socialist hellhole of Washington: 251,064 confirmed cases, 3,523 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Let us look at one other state: Virginia where they have a Ku Klux Klan-lover for a governor: currently, they have 354,766 confirmed cases, 5,081 confirmed deaths, but NO mention of confirmed recoveries.  Now that Mo has relocated to Israel, let’s look at the statistics there: 426,769 confirmed cases, 3,338 confirmed deaths, and 378,038 confirmed recoveries.
  65. 2021 Friday D: The E.U. and the Chi-Coms continue working on their ‘deal’ to open markets in the communist nation to European investment.   Next, the Philippines block travel from the U.S. following detection of the new strain of the Chi-Vi in the United States.   Elsewhere, the entire African Continent (26 states as of today with most of the others soon to join)- with the exception of Eritrea- enters into the massive free trade zone it had previously set up making it the largest free trade zone since the creation of the World Trade Organization.  Meanwhile, both the U.S. State Department and the people of Hong Kong demand the release of the so-called “Hong Kong 12,” wrongly imprisoned by the thugs in Beijing.
  66. 2021 Friday E: Georgia voters come out for the final day of early voting in the two U.S. Senate run-off race- 3 million people have early voted so far.  Meanwhile the U.S. Senate overrides President Trump’s veto of the NDAA- the National Defense Authorization Act, patting themselves on the back as they do so.  The president vetoed the bill because it does nothing with the Section 230 the 45th president wanted overturned.  Chef Vladimir Gdansk writes in today’s post how the BIG TECH demon baby should be strangled in the crib now before it becomes so powerful that it is running the world (with the Chi-Coms being the main managing partner behind the scenes).
  67. 2021 Friday F: Strange things occurring in Colorado what with the discovery of human remains in a pair of suitcases as are other human remains outside Prescott, Arizona.   Elsewhere, even though it’s against the mayor’s demands, the people of Philadelphia turn out to either participate in or to watch the big Philly Mummers parade.  Labeled a ‘protest,’ left-wing liberal government can do NOTHING to stop it.  FREEDOM OF SPEECH- PARDON JULIAN ASSANGE NOW!  Next, Portland, Oregon, police label a ‘protest’ a ‘riot’ when the mob goes berserk as darkness begins to fall.  (We believe the Chi-Coms are funding all of this mob mayhem).
  68. 2021 Friday G: Here are the numbers for tonight’s Mega Millions #1621 with a $401 million jackpot: 08, 24, 53, 68, 69, and Mega 07.   Out of 186,678 winning tickets, the highest winners were FOUR people who had FOUR numbers plus the Mega for a prize of $11,000 apiece.  Congratulations!
  69. 2021 Friday H:  We encourage everyone to stick around to uncover whatever the Chi-Coms, their allies Canada, Iran, Russia, North Korea, and other s-hole countries, as well as their stooges in the Democratic Party are up to today- you know they’re up to no good! Stick around for tonight’s Mega-Millions…

ENDNOTES:

[i] We look forward to doing the music of this famed funk-rock band.  The Ohio Players are amazing

[ii] We promoted the music of Country Joe and the Fish beginning on Tuesday, 16-July-2013 through Friday, 26-July-2013.  This was one of the greatest bands to explode out of San Francisco, California, during the Psychedelic 1960s.  Sadly, we failed to promote the music of Country Joe McDonald’s solo discography at the time.  We hope to rectify that at a later date.

[iii] We promoted the music of Spooky Tooth, Mott the Hoople, Mott, the British Lions, and Widowmaker- among other interconnected bands beginning on Friday, 25-April-2014 through Tuesday, 01-July-2014.  We hope you will check out this collection of great rock music.  Even the worst albums among them beats the crap out of any bull crap music one hears today.

[iv] Little would the people of New York City know that this POS far-left, forever-stoned mayor would destroy their city and that come 2020 with the Chi-Com-manufactured pandemic out of control people would flee the dying city.  GET this scumbag out of office!

Mitch McConnell does it again- after he begs us for cash for GOP Senate races now and back in November, he abandons Trump when the president needs him most: January 6, 2021

“If we are going to go communist, what difference does it make if we do it in January of next year or we do it in four years? Communism is communism, none of it’s good. YOU, sir, are not good either. YOU, sir, are a scoundrel and we will never answer the call again if you fail President Trump a week from today when he needs you most.”

WINTER SESSION 2020

BLOG POST #3,713 AT THE AICP-END

ELECTION DAY 2020 PLUS FIFTY-SEVEN

Once again, Mitch McConnell shows his true colors: a Chi-Com skunk

Mukilteo, WA 98275, 12-30-2020 Wednesday: Yesterday, I initiated an ambling post that began with how the Democrats and their RINO colleagues destroyed a fine human being like Judge Roy Moore back in 2017.  It was horrible what they did to him and it was horrible how he was thrown under the bus by the likes of Mitch McConnell, the true target of yesterday’s and today’s articles.  Yesterday morning, it took me far too long to arrive over the target so I am carrying the critique over to today because the ‘Turtle’ needs to hear what it is I have to share with the American people in general and with him specifically…

Now, I’ve got something to say to Senator Mitch McConnell: “First, may I address you as Mitch, Senator McConnell?  Thanks, I will anyway.  In the weeks leading up to Election Day, my family and I received a barrage of text messages from you and your allies, begging us to send money in copious quantities to help Martha McSally, Cory Gardner, John James, David Perdue, Kelly Loeffler, and whoever else was on your list of threatened Senate seats.

‘Sir, you blitzed our phones so much with text message after text message after text message, that you drove my data bill up by 300 flipping percent.  The urgent messages came in one after the other, beginning early in the morning into late at night, oh, Kelly Loeffler, uh, John James in Michigan, please, Martha McSally, Cory Gardner, this one and that one, ALL of them need help NOW.  Send what you can ASAP or we stand to lose the Senate on November 3!

“As you know, Mitch, we haven’t been working for eight months.[i]  Times are tough what with the Beijing Bug infecting the country but my wife and I answered the call, sent money to the GOP Senate campaigns you pressed us to send it to.

“Moreover, we went to campaign websites, we sent it via checks, and, if you ask me, we sent far too much, and still Senators McSally, Gardner, and candidate John James, went down.  For all we know, Perdue and Loeffler may go down, too, next Tuesday, seeing as how the elections system still sucks in the Peach State.

“In closing, I will say this for now: Mitch, we supported YOUR demands so why, sir, are you behaving like such an ingrate and warning your fellow RINO, pro-Chi-Com-loving, liberal Republicans by warning them NOT to fulfill their Constitutional, legal, and moral duties by contesting a clearly fraudulent election on January 06, 2021?  Why?

“By encouraging them not to join forces with angry House Republicans to overturn a stolen presidential election, what you are ordering them to do is to ‘throw Trump onto the rubbish heap like a headless Mexican corpse’ which will swing the election to “Pro-China Joe” Biden and his detestable running mate, the skank from California.

“Please, Mitch, tell us WHY?  Have you that short a memory sir, or are you merely another fat calf sucking away at the Chi-Com cash teats?

“Sadly, the more we learn about your wife, Elaine Chao, and her ties to the Chi-Coms via her father’s shipping company out of, what, Shanghai, the more we know the answer.  Still, we would love to hear you SAY the magic words so everyone- including the simple-minded among us- will understand the truth about you and your fellow RINOs.

We will return tomorrow and see if we can answer some of these questions.  What I will tell you now is that I am growing mighty tired with the Republican Party.  They think we have nowhere else to go so they feel free to spit in our faces when they no longer require OUR help once they have OUR money safely in THEIR hip pockets.  Well, let me say this- that is not the case.

Join me here tomorrow for the New Year’s Eve edition of the world-famous AICPENDBLOG.COM, the one place that continues to value the truth and supports the TRUE CHINA- Taiwan.

God bless you all.

This would have been my photo, I, your host, back in the 1980’s when I was the Executive Chef at a country club in the Napa Valley but for security purposes, we have scaled some of our personal info back so now, you get a caricature of me done by up-and-coming Bakersfield street artist, Simone.  Updated to reflect my age now, I must say, “Impressive job, Simone!”  Alas, I spent many years working in professional Food Service, having begun as a young boy working for my father in his restaurant over on the coast in Pismo Beach.  Food Service is in my blood and it’s something I still do actively every day in my late eighties in Washington State, even under the despotic regime of locoweed Governor Jay “Green Meanie” Inslee.

Our Ten Years After album for today is their sixteenth album, “I’m Going Home,” which came out in 1993 and was another great compilation CD.  Very few bands ever came close to the power and circumstance Ten Years After possessed.  What you find on this glorious collection is an assortment of songs that IF you still possess an old stereo system with massive speakers, you’ll want to turn this UP, especially late at night when the neighbors can hear Leo Lyons’ thundering bass lines, Alvin Lee’s mind-boggling fretwork, Ric Lee’s hypnotic percussive rhythms, and of course Chick Churchill’s calliope-like organ riffs.  We suggest that you visit Amazon.com—the world’s largest online department store—and buy this album now by using the convenient link.  We guarantee you will love it.

[i] The pandemic the flipping Chinese communists engineered in their Wuhan laboratory to eradicate Donald Trump’s chances has many of us out of work and standing in proverbial breadlines.  Yet, we pooled whatever extra money we had to send to help in the fight to maintain the Senate.  How do they repay us?  The minute it looks like Trump is going to walk the plank, they revert to business as usual.  Instead of helping the American people with infusions of cash, credit, and allowing us to reopen our businesses, they would rather give more in foreign aid to countries that hate us while leaving us to wither and die on the vine.  I swear to God these people are going to pay.

GOP leadership in the U.S. Senate already is demonstrating they are self-serving Chi-Com lackeys by doing their damnedest to throw Donald Trump under the bus- WTF?

You know that last line makes me think of the old song, “The Back Stabbers,” by the legendary O’Jays, ‘they smile in your face’ while they’re back-stabbing you. Well, this is where Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell comes in along with others like John Thune- Senate Majority Whip- as well as RINO colleagues such as Mitt Romney, Ben Sasse, Susan Collins, and that frigid hag from Alaska, uh, what’s her name, Lisa Murkowski These people would sell their mothers for a suitcase full of Chi-Com cash.

WINTER SESSION 2020

BLOG POST #3,712 AT THE AICP-END

ELECTION DAY 2020 PLUS FIFTY-SIX

Back in 2017, I called Mitch McConnell a ‘fat toad’ because he wouldn’t support Alabama Senate candidate Judge Roy Moore

Mukilteo, WA 98275, 12-29-2020 Tuesday:  I have written extraordinarily little about Mitch McConnell other than to have labeled him a ‘fat toad’ back in 2017 when he was demanding that Judge Roy Moore ‘step down and relinquish the GOP nomination for the open U.S. Senate seat in Alabama.’

As you should recall, the seat in question was the one vacated by Senator Jeff Sessions when he moved over to the U.S. Department of Justice and became the U.S. attorney general.   As soon as he was confirmed, the race to fill his seat was on and Judge Roy Moore seemed to be the favorite until the Fake News Media began hammering him with accusations of being in his thirties and seeking out pre-teen girls at local strip malls and what not.  Shocking allegations to be sure but rubbish, all of them rubbish.[i]

In hindsight, the abuse thrown at Judge Moore now seems as though it was all bogus, part of living in ‘the Trump Era’ when seemingly anything goes in the war to destroy Donald Trump and everyone around him.  The Fake News Media stepped up its attacks on all those who might have been allies for the former real estate and entertainment mogul- like Judge Moore- doing them as much damage as possible, either to reduce the threat posed by them or to discredit and destroy them out of spite.

Judge Moore sat on the bench in Alabama for decades and was removed for defending the presence of the Ten Commandments- the bedrock of Western judicial philosophy- on the grounds of the state house, something which at one time would seemingly have been seen as ‘controversial.’  Up until the anti-Judeo-Christian, pro-Muslim radicals, went to war against all outward demonstrations of either the Jewish or Christian faiths, a monument of the Ten Commandments would have stood unmolested.

Judge Moore was an upstanding man and he would have made a superb U.S. Senator had his enemies- on BOTH sides of the aisle, mind you- not targeted him with all manner of false and counterfeit allegations with which to sow doubt in the minds of Alabama voters, he would have been a shoo-in.

In the end, however, Democrat Doug Jones won the open seat, all because of the spurious and false charges made against a man of proven high moral character.[ii]  Thankfully, Jones lost the seat to Tommy Tuberville last month, thus restoring it to GOP control.

We’re not here to discuss Judge Moore, however, but eventually to alight on Mitch McConnell and discuss his role in the destruction of conservative Republicans.  As I’ve said, anyone who might be supportive of President Trump has either been blasted by allegations of being a Russian agent or of being a pervert, like Judges Roy Moore and Brett Kavanaugh have.  .

As always, the preferred mode of assault is to dredge the gutters, even as Democrats tell us that ALL forms of perversion are totally fine.  No matter if it’s men dressing as women or women dressing as men, pedophiles and rapists lurking in public parks and strip mall lavatories, or gay marriage or whatever, it’s all totally fine unless, of course, one is either a Republican candidate or token sacrificial lambs like Democrats Al Franken, John Conyers, Bill Cosby, or others like them were.  It’s what they do.

You know that last line makes me think of the old song, “The Back Stabbers,” by the legendary O’Jays,[iii] ‘they smile in your face’ while they’re back-stabbing you.

These people, and some of their House GOP allies like Liz Cheney, want things to remain the same, i.e., BEFORE the Era of Donald Trump, when RINOs and Democrats could schmooze with one another, attend cocktail parties, start charities, and reap buckets of cash from them by appointing family members to head and manage them.

Well, the dirt has yet to be piled atop President Trump’s political grave but these RINOs- like Mitch McConnell- are already making their moves.  He’s warned his fellow GOP senators NOT to join with the legion of House Republicans planning to fight the fraudulent election results on January 06, 2021- a week from tomorrow.   He’s warned them NOT to support any of the forthcoming challenges coming from conservative House Republicans or its curtains for them.[iv]

We will continue with this thought tomorrow as there is much I would like to say to Senator McConnell.  After all, Senator McConnell, WE answered YOUR calls for cash for GOP Senate battles so why don’t YOU reciprocate by answering OURS and defending Trump on the first Wednesday of 2021?

See you tomorrow.  Make sure you are here and nowhere else.  We have work to do…

Our Ten Years After album for today is their fifteenth album, “Essential,” which came out in 1991 and was another great compilation CD.  Contained on this phenomenal album are the classic tracks as performed by one of the all-time great rock-and-blues bands to explode out of working-class England in the 1960s.  Their performance at the 1969 Woodstock Music and Arts Festival was absolutely mind-blowing.  We love them and know you will, too, thus, we suggest that you visit Amazon.com—the world’s largest online department store—and buy this album now by using the convenient link.  We guarantee you will love it.

ENDNOTES:

[i] The sad thing is, voters fall for allegations such as these practically every time Democrats or RINOs employ them.  Like Brett Kavanaugh, the proof of it being hogwash is that Judge Moore sat on the bench in Alabama for many years as Kavanaugh did the U.S. appellate courts.  Both attempts to destroy the two men centered on UNREPORTED sexual abuse allegations that were unprovable and most likely bull crap.  No one knew that either man would ever have the opportunity to move up the ladder so why the ‘evidence’ was not used against them earlier proves that it was all hooey.  Yet, it’s what Democrats, leftists, and even some RINOs like Mitt Romney and John McCain did to political enemies.  Just look for what they did to Herman Cain- the CEO of Godfather’s Pizza back in 2008 and 2012.  Rather like what the Democrats did to Clarence Thomas.  Same bull crap.

[ii] The Democrats trembled at the thought of a ‘Senator Roy Moore’ so they were able to sway enough voters either to stay home or to vote for their guy, Doug Jones.  I would recommend to everyone in Georgia, pay NO attention to whatever you see on TV.

[iii] Man, I hope we get around to doing the music of the O’Jays one day as back in the 1970s- with the massive hit, “I Love Music” on the radio around the clock- they ruled the airwaves.  Great music by a stunningly good band.

[iv] Personally, I think it would be fantastic for the country if lawmakers were able to vote their consciences and/or what their constituents back home want and no be corralled by party leaders into voting one way and one way only.

In California, we have 59,698 confirmed cases and 2,439 confirmed deaths but no mention of recoveries. In Hawaii, we have 626 confirmed cases, 17 confirmed deaths, and 588 confirmed recoveries while in Washington state, there are 15,905 confirmed cases and 870 confirmed deaths but like California, no mention of confirmed recoveries. Curious. Meanwhile, communist China claims 88,423 confirmed cases of the Wuhan Flu, 4,633 confirmed deaths and 81,785 confirmed recoveries. Got to love their honesty (joke).

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

#PF001.1q David Gilmour #17 04-19-2020 (400)

During free time from the constant recording and touring of Pink Floyd, guitarist/vocalist David Gilmour, found time to record and release his first solo album, “David Gilmour.”  The album came out on May 25, 1978 and besides the artist featured a sparse lineup to give him the individualistic sound for which he was searching, wanting to ‘introduce himself’ to the world.  Fans of the parent band always claim that Gilmour lacks the ‘creativity’ of his bandmate Roger Waters but here, he demonstrates that that is but a fallacy and something no sane lover of rock music would ever believe.  We hope you will seek it out and consider adding it to your collection- you will love it.

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

#PF001.1o Wish You Were Here #15 04-19-2020 (400)

The next album Pink Floyd released- “Wish You Were Here”- came out on September 12, 1975.  This album was the follow up to “Dark Side of the Moon” and lived up to expectations and then some.  The band remained the same: Roger Waters (bass/vocals), David Gilmour (guitars/vocals), Nicky Mason (drums/percussion), and Richard Wright (keyboards/vocals) as well as some supporting musicians to increase the sound and the vocal range.  At the time, reviews were mixed, which is always amazing, but back in those days, rock media somewhat resembled the fake news media of today in that they blistered almost every release by a top band and then some.  Sad thing is this: critics can only criticize while performers perform.  This is one of the all-time great albums of the day which is why we hope everyone will seek it out and add it to their growing collection of nothing but the absolute best in rock music.   You will be glad you did.
