  44. 2003 Sunday: Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein warned that if Iraq were attacked, it would take the war anywhere in the world “wherever there is sky, land or water.”  President George W. Bush gave the United Nations one more day to find a diplomatic solution to the standoff.     Elsewhere, American activist Rachel Corrie, 23, lost her life when an Israeli bulldozer crushed her as she was trying to block the demolition of a Palestinian home in the Gaza Strip.  No one asked the leftist to be there, and it should be clear to all that she was pretty damned stupid to put herself between the home of a terrorist and an Israeli bulldozer.  No sympathy for her.
  45. 2004 Tuesday: as things in the Iraq War continue going from bad to worse, President George W. Bush begs his Coalition allies to stick it out with the U.S.  Democrats in the U.S. are doing everything to transform the war into one of major disaster so they can elect a Democrat in November.
  46. 2005 Wednesday: The Iranians execute a serial killer on this date after giving him 100 lashes.  Mohammed Bijeh, aka the Tehran Desert Vampire, was convicted of being a murderous pedophile.  Between March 2003 and September 2004, this scumbag confessed to raping and murdering at least 16 boys (and two adults) between the ages of 8 and 16.  He claimed that he suffered rape and wanted to exact revenge upon the community.  They hung a noose from a construction crane, put it around his neck, raised him up, and hung him until he was dead.  May Allah have mercy on his soul.

  48. 2007 Friday: Islamic jihadists go berserk in Anbar Province launching a chlorine attack (remember: NO weapons of mass destruction in Iraq) killing at least 2 Iraqi police officers and wounding or sickening hundreds more.  That’s the so-called ‘religion of peace’ for you.   Elsewhere, communist China adopts the People’s Republic of China Property Law, a law that covers the creation, ownership, and transfer of property in mainland China.
  49. 2008 Sunday: With the collapse of Bear Stearns over the housing crisis, the world economy finds itself on shaky footing.  This past Sunday, the Fed enabled JP Morgan to buy Bear Stearns in an effort to prevent the collapse of the nation’s fifth largest investment bank from collapse.  Sadly, it does not seem to have prevented the ongoing implosion.   JP Morgan bought the company, once valued at more than $20 billion for bargain basement prices of $270 million.  What a bargain.  Elsewhere, the Chi-Coms go berserk in Tibet, cracking down on protesters demanding freedom.  Word has it the Chi-Coms murdered at least 80 people in cold blood and scooped up loads of others for their concentration camps.  Basketball shoes anyone?  The Dalai Lama accused the Chin of waging a cultural genocide against his people.  No wonder the Chi-Coms want his hide.
  50. 2009 Monday: Outrage continues to grow over collapsing AIG’s decision to pay out hundreds of millions of dollars in bonuses to its top managers and CEO.  This leads to outrage in the street and a decision by the Obama White House to discover a way to halt this outrage.  It matters not that the executives were promised these bonuses whether the company turned a profit or not.   New York State Attorney Andrew Cuomo announces he is going to subpoena AIG so he can get some answers before his kangaroo court.  Elsewhere, following the bailouts of the big banks by the Obama administration, their thanks is to lessen lending, not increase it.  Wow.
  51. 2010 Tuesday: NO matter what liberal Westerners demand, Israel announces that it’s going to move forward with the construction of new settlements.  Meanwhile, as Palestinians continue protesting in Jerusalem, Israeli authorities crack down on them leaving at least ten or more injured.  Stop fighting with the Israelis, you dumb asses.  Meanwhile, a drone strike ordered by the droner-in-chief, President Barack Hussein Obama, kills 9 people and injures many more in Pakistan.  No one knows if they were terrorists or not.  No wonder the Muslim world hates the United States.

  56. 2015 Monday: Andy Fraser, bassist of Free, dies on this date in Temecula, California.  The legendary bassist was 62 years-old.  As a musician, he played his instrument as though he was playing a lead instrument.  Listen to the live album by Free, listen to his incredible solo playing on “Mr. Big,” among others and see that he was among the greatest bassists ever, in the same class as Jack Casady of the Jefferson Airplane or Phil Lesh of the Grateful Dead.  Absolutely stunning to say the least.
  57. 2016 Wednesday: Setting in motion one of the most contentious Supreme Court issues between Republicans and Democrats, President Barack Hussein Obama nominates Merrick Garland to fill the seat of deceased Republican Associate Justice Antonin Scalia.  Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell says that the voters will decide in November’s presidential election as to whom should have the honor of nominating the replacement for Scalia.  Of course, the Democrats go bat crap crazy.  Eventually with Donald Trump winning the presidency, the 45th president will nominate Neil Gorsuch to fill the vacant seat.
  58. 2017 Thursday: The anti-Trump ‘Resistance Movement’ strikes again what with not one but two federal courts blocking the president’s second travel ban.  Elsewhere, a judge in Maryland issues a temporary restraining order against President Donald J. Trump’s revised Muslim ban.
  59. 2018 Friday: At age 89, Li Ka-Shing- Asia’s second wealthiest person (and Hong Kong resident) announces his retirement from the world of business.  Elsewhere, as the United States continues reaching out to North Korea, South Korea and the U.S. jointly announce that they will scale down annual military drills so as to draw the North into direct talks.
  60. 2019 Saturday: In Mabini, Philippines, a dead beached whale is discovered to have 88 pounds of plastic refuse in his guts, including 40 pounds of plastic bags.  Yikes.  Meanwhile, the Yellow Vests Protests against French President Emanuel Macron enter their fourth month as protesters angry over rising energy prices due to Green Fascism continue to drive the people insane.  Fires erupt, stores and cars are burned, the police take to the streets and fire tear gas at the protesters.  It’s a mess.
  61. 2020 Monday: Thanks to the Wuhan Virus out of Wuhan, China, panic continues gripping the world.  The markets have been in freefall, with a Bear market that began last week continuing.  The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 23,185.62, down 2,997.10 points.  The S & P 500 is down 324.89, closing at 2,480.64.  The NASDAQ is down 970.28 and closed at 6,904.55.  Total confirmed cases of COVID-19 around the world are 167,457 with 6,471 confirmed dead and 76,851 confirmed recoveries.  Meanwhile, medical researchers continue trying to increase testing kits as well as experimental vaccines to fight this foreign scourge.  In the U.S., there have been 4,017 positive tests for coronavirus what with 35,840 negative tests and another 1,691 pending tests.  The United States is behind in testing but folks, you can test negative one day and positive a day or two later.
  62. 2021 Tuesday:  FOREIGN NEWS- Intelligence analysts now report that both the Russians and their Iranian lackeys interfered in the 2020 Presidential Election to undermine and defeat Donald Trump while pushing Methuselah Joe Biden into the White House, someone easier to control and who would put America LAST rather than FIRST as President Donald J. Trump did.  No one is screaming and wailing like a bunch of banshees over 2020 Election interference while all the while they still snivel that ‘Trump stole the election in 2016 with Russian help.’  Wah, wah, wah.
  63. 2021 Tuesday A: In other FOREIGN NEWS- the ‘Joe Biden White House’ is confused as to WHY Kim Jong Un won’t respond to feelers put forward by the ‘46th president.’  Kim’s sister, Kim Yo-Jong is urging a hardline stance against the ‘Biden administration’ seeing as how a stumbling Joe Biden on the campaign trail called her brother- the Supreme Ruler- a thug and that he wouldn’t deal with the North Koreans if they did not denuclearize.  Now, ‘Chi-Com Joe’ is puzzled as to why Kim won’t respond to him other than to demand he halt the WAR GAMES with South Korea.  Perhaps it’s this: the Iranians called Joe Biden a second-class idiot today, not even a first-class dimwit.  That sucks and yet, Joe is still giving the Iranians several billion dollars.  Gee whiz.   Meanwhile, former Bolivian President Jeanine Anez has entered prison to do a four-month stretch for supposedly trying to engineer a coup against socialist thug Evo Morales.
  64. 2021 Tuesday B: Border Disaster News- The ‘Biden administration’ announces plans to house at least 3,000 illegal alien brats in a downtown Dallas, Texas, convention center.  Incapable of stopping the invasion along our southern border, Biden officials are busing the illegals all over the country and dumping them out in the streets saying to community leaders, ‘it’s on you.’  Many communities run these illegal aliens out of town on rails.  We don’t want them; we won’t care for them.  Meanwhile, moderate (almost a RINO) Florida Senator Rick Scott has authored a bill that will provide amnesty to so-called DREAMers in exchange for funds to complete the border wall.  White House?  Crickets…
  65. 2021 Tuesday C:  Border Disaster News Pt. II- Joe Biden’s immigration plan does NOTHING to curb the illegal alien invasion.  (Note- he has NO plan.  Goldie).  Next, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas defends his crap-assed performance of taking care of illegal alien minors along the border.  His plan calls for them to be sardined together in worse conditions than anything President Trump ordered.  They sleep on cement floors, they get showers once a week, the food is shit, the babes are crying at night for their mothers, and this POS scumbag says he’s doing a ‘fantastic job.’  Impeach this SOB.  Regarding Secretary Mayorkas, this loser is passing the buck by saying, “We are repairing the system the last guy disbanded.”  Sure.  Speaking of immigration, leading House Dems say there’s a bleak outlook when it comes to passing a coherent immigration bill.  (Note- this is the ONLY policy you need- build the wall and deport them all.  Period.  Goldie).   In other ‘border news,’ 10 Iranian nationals have been arrested along the southern border.
  66. 2021 Tuesday D:   Border Disaster News Pt. III- Senator Joe Manchin, D-W. Va., becomes the first top-level Democrat to declare the travesty of the southern border to be a “MAJOR CRISIS.”  Thank you, senator, now do something to stop the invasion.  Meanwhile, Congressman Steve Scalise, R-LA 1st congressional district, says that ‘Joe Biden is doing everything he can to evade having to do something about the border catastrophe.’   Meanwhile, former New York state Congressman Peter King, R-NY 2nd congressional district, says that ‘Joe Biden is doing whatever he can to deflect away from the predicament he created on the southern border by not stopping the tidal wave.’  Impeach Biden Now.
  67. 2021 Tuesday E:  Political News Pt. I- House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-CA 23rd congressional district, lets the Democrats have both barrels and then a reloaded both barrels over them trying to politicize the U.S. military, the National Guard, and federal law enforcement.  They are recruiting trannys, gays, and unfit people to be the frontline in defending our nation, even offering FREE sex-change surgeries for enlisted men, women, and ‘things.’[vii]  We are going down.  (Note- looks like ‘Groping Joe’ Biden is doing everything he can to HELP the Chi-Coms).   Next, people are asking at Day #56 of the Biden administration, WHEN is ‘President Biden’ going to address the American people?  The country’s citizens are growing worried that they have elected a vegetable to the highest job in the world.   We concur.
  68. 2021 Tuesday F: Political News Pt. II- The ‘Joe Biden tax plan’ continues facing increased pushback from the GOP as it’s a social-re-engineering plan, one that will transfer wealth all over the place while killing jobs, putting more people into the street, and destroying society.  Speaking of the Democrats, they claim to want to bring in Republican input for their ‘infrastructure plan’ (Note- their Green New Deal plan- Goldie) but so far have not met with Republicans.  Next, House Speaker Nancy “Mumbles” Pelosi is still trying to unseat Congresswoman Marionnette Miller-Meeks, R-IA 2nd congressional district, a woman whose race was certified and who has been serving in the House since taking the oath on January 3, 2021.  Speaker Pelosi is trying to OVERTURN her lawful election.  We must stop Mumbles.   Meanwhile, Congresswoman Kat Cammack, R-FL 3rd congressional district, says that ‘Joe Biden is doing EVERYTHING he can to circumvent the U.S. Congress.’
  69. 2021 Tuesday G: My Pillow’s Mike Lindell is launching several countersuits against the crooked Dominion Voting Systems company out of Canada, accusing them of ‘racketeering’ as they try to intimidate him into silence.  We hope you get those scumbags, Mike, they have loads of explaining to do.   Next, President Donald J. Trump calls the Washington Post, aka WAPO, ‘an example of media travesty’ after it lied about the conversation, he held with Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger earlier in the year.   Regarding the Peach State, a judge in Georgia says he may order unsealing of the absentee ballots so investigators into election fraud in 2020 can perform a REAL audit.
  70. 2021 Tuesday H:  Democratic Party News, Pt. I: Democrats in the U.S. Senate on the Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee are holding hearings on ‘housing in America.’  We know there is a shortage of housing right now because of the pandemic’s halt on new home construction.  What the Democrats seek are multi-family home dwellings so they can force more people into living with one another which is wholly un-American.  Yet that is what they do, they seek to bring Section 8 housing into a neighborhood near you.  Meanwhile, GOP lawmakers are pushing back against Democrats by seeking to include natural gas and nuclear energy as part of our energy creation sources with which to augment unreliable renewable energy sources.  Democrats want wind and solar period.   Finally, Democrats are pushing Senate Dems to get rid of the filibuster which is putting pressure directly atop moderate Democrats like Joe Manchin, D-W. Va.  (Note- the RNC is planning a counter-media blitz against the Democrats’ blitz on HOW GREAT the Chi-Vi Relief Bill is).
  71. 2021 Tuesday I: Political Correctness News- Columbia University is going to put on six different graduation ceremonies- a) Native American; b) Asian; c) Latino; d) LGBTQIA+; e) gringos; and f) first generation students and low-income students.  Wow.  Martin Luther King Jr. would be rolling over in his grave.  For God’s Sake, people!  Meanwhile, Project Veritas released video of Facebook execs discussing how to avoid governmental oversight, rules, regulations, and what they deem to be interference.  Sadly, for Facebook, 48 states currently have monopoly lawsuits going against FB.
  72. 2021 Tuesday J: U.S. ‘Enemies’ News- On his first trip to Asia, U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, Democrat, takes it to the Chi-Coms for their regional coercion of their neighbors.  Good for you but wait- don’t YOU have ties to the Chi-Coms, Secretary Blinken?  We believe you do.  This is all smoke and mirrors.  Next, a recent Gallup poll says that MORE Americans now view the Chi-Coms as a major threat following the lab-engineered pandemic they created and then released.   Meanwhile, the bastion of ‘freedom’- Russia- says it’s thinking of banning Facebook from their soil.
  73. 2021 Tuesday K: Popular Culture News- this year’s Grammy Awards were among the worst ever what with a drop from 18.7 million viewers last year to a pitiful 7.9 million this year.  If you like watching hoochie mamas singing about that ‘Wet Hot Pu**y,” then good for you but people can see slut-bags seven days a week walking down the street.   Next, the “Amityville Horror” killer Ronald De Feo Jr. died in the joint at age 69.  Elsewhere, after Sharon Osbourne exercises the chutzpah to defend Piers Morgan on “The Talk,” the show goes into hiatus because the black chick, Sheryl Underwood’s feelings were hurt.
  74. 2021 Tuesday L: Governor Andrew “Killer” Cuomo News- there is speculation that ‘seven Cuomo judges- will rescue him from being removed from office.  The investigation into “Killer Cuomo,” however continues as his accusers are undergoing depositions.  Meanwhile, Joe Biden won’t demand that his fellow groper “Killer Cuomo” be ejected from making COVID-19 calls to encourage people to rush out and get the vaccine.   Sexual deviates always stick together.
  75. 2021 Tuesday M: Governor Gavin “The Smiler” Newsom News- Little Gavin is now out there crowing that ‘if he gets a chance, he will appoint a black woman- ANY black woman to fill Senator Dianne Feinstein’s seat.’  We didn’t know that Senator Feinstein was going anywhere anytime soon.  Still, this is what liberals do when confronting the law, they begin promising to donate money to Planned Parenthood, wage war on the NRA, and do everything else liberals love.  Too little too late.   Newsom has awoken to the fact that he is probably going to lose his seat so he releases a commercial in which he blames HIS problems on: 1) the Far-Right; 2) QAnon; 3) Proud Boys; 4) Oath Keepers; 5) Donald J. Trump; 6) Newt Gingrich; 7) Mike Huckabee; 8) conspiracy theorists; and 9) everyone else he can blame HIS disasters upon and then some, i.e., white supremacists, racists, bigots, haters, and insurrectionists.   Michael Reagan says living in California is like in the Germany of the 1930s.  Could not have said it better ourselves.  Thanks, Mike.
  76. 2021 Tuesday N: The National Rifle Association seeks to delay the deposing of its board members as the bankruptcy case makes its way through the courts.  Meanwhile, Grover Norquist of Americans for Tax Reform says that ‘Joe Biden wants to raise tax rates higher than what the Chi-Coms have, especially on corporations, and in so doing will kill wages, destroy jobs, and eliminate retirement savings.’  He also said that ‘increasing utility rates is akin to raising the taxes although it’s not an official raising of taxes.’  By raising corporate taxes, it diminishes the return on investments which will destroy retirement programs.  The government also seeks to legalize marijuana across the country so that it can reap the tax dollars.
  77. 2021 Tuesday O: National Guard troops from Guam visited the office of Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, R- GA 14th congressional district, because she mentioned the name of the U.S. territory in a speech and referred to it as a ‘foreign nation.’[viii]  She blasted their ‘visit’ as little more than a political stunt.   Meanwhile, scientists are proposing to put a doomsday vault on the moon.   Next, ex-Minneapolis Police Officer Derek Chauvin wants George Floyd’s 2019 arrest released to the jury in his trial.   Meanwhile, New Mexico is advancing a bill that will allow assisted suicide for the terminally ill within their state.
  78. 2021 Tuesday P: Here are the COVID-19 statistics for the planet as a whole: 120,505,974 confirmed cases, +657,693, 2,665,597, confirmed deaths, +11,956, and 68,325,205 confirmed recoveries, +293,341.  Next, here are the stats for the United States, the intended target of the Chinese-engineered Wuhan Virus pandemic: 29,719,808 confirmed cases, up 43,163 from yesterday’s reporting, 541,030 confirmed deaths, UP 578, and 115,759,310 confirmed recoveries.  Note- we are going to do our own estimates of recoveries based on percentages seeing as how the CDC won’t report them.  It would appear in the age of ‘Joe Biden,’ people are becoming sicker with the Chinese Virus and dying faster than they did under Donald Trump.  Time to impeach this pathetic, senile drooling POS.  NOW.   NOTE: SINCE JOE BIDEN BECAME PRESIDENT ON JANUARY 20, 2021, THERE HAVE BEEN 212,553 CHI-VI DEATHS IN THE United States- Vegetable Joe, in another two weeks, you will have tied the total number witnessed by the Trump administration in nearly a year of the Xi Jinping Bat Flu.    Note- Sweden becomes the latest nation to put a halt to further use of the AstraZeneca vaccine over pulmonary embolisms and blood clots.  Meanwhile, Moderna starts a study in which, they will inoculate children and study the effects.  Finally, that dimwit, the AMAZING Dr. Tony Fauci says, “inconvenient truths” came into play with our response to the China Virus crisis.  (Note- the Federalist reports that Democrats want “COVID-19 passports but when it comes to asking for ID at election sites, nyet.”
  79. 2021 Tuesday Q: Next, in the three states in which, the world-famous American Institute of Culinary Politics-the Elemental News of the Day employs chef-bloggers- California, Hawaii, and Washington- here are the stats, California first: 3,626,327 confirmed cases, 56,621 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Next here are the numbers for Hawaii: 28,646 confirmed cases, 451 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries (same numbers for several days now).  Finally, here are the stats for Washington: 353,322 confirmed cases, 5,192 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Let us look at one other piece of U.S. territory- Wyoming, aka the Equality State: currently, they have 55,352 confirmed cases, 693 confirmed deaths, and 54,231 confirmed recoveries.  Now that Mo has relocated to Israel, let’s look at the statistics there: 821,762 confirmed cases, 6,037 confirmed deaths, and 787,893 confirmed recoveries.   Let’s look at one other country- Canada, the home of the Guess Who, Bachman-Turner Overdrive, and Rush: 915,868 cases of the old Wuhan Meat Market Malady, 22,519 confirmed deaths and 861,832 confirmed recoveries.  Speaking of the Chi-Coms, what’s the point: communist nations ALWAYS lie- you know it and we know it.
  80. 2021 Tuesday R: Here are today’s Stock Market closes: DOW Jones Industrial Average: 32,825.95, DOWN 127.51 points (-0.39%).  Next, the NASDAQ: 13,471.51, UP 11.859 points (+0.09%).  Finally, here are the stats for the S&P 500: 3,962.71, DOWN 6.23 points (-0.61%).  The price of GOLD is $1,729.40 per troy oz., -1.50 (-0.09%) while the price of SILVER is $25.99 per troy ounce, -0.02 (-0.07%).  The price of PLATINUM is $1,215.40 per troy oz, -3.70 (-0.30%) while the price of COPPER is $4.06 per pound, -0.01 (-0.34%).  The price of PALLADIUM is $2,498.70 per troy oz, -0.02 (-0.50%).  The price of Light Sweet Crude Oil is $64.91 per barrel, +0.10 (+0.15%)  Currently, one-dollar U.S. = 6.51 Chi-Com yuan.   Meanwhile, one-dollar U.S. = 0.84 euros and in Mexican pesos equals 20.61.  As for Bitcoin, one U.S. greenback = 0.000018.   In Aruban florin, one greenback equals 1.78.
  81. 2021 Tuesday S: Thanks to the Biden administration, gasoline prices continue rising by the day- in California, gasoline prices have risen to over $3.856 per gallon, $3.558 in Hawaii, and $3.281 in Washington state.  Time to allow the country to return to fracking, there Joe Biden.   Meanwhile, here is a snapshot of the U.S. National Debt for today: $28,058,245,351,045 and the Democrats are adding TRILLIONS of dollars to it, not BILLIONS but flipping TRILLIONS.  Cloward and Piven running amok.  The country is going to implode.
  82. 2021 Tuesday T: In some shocking news, a stockpile of commercial grade fireworks blew up in Ontario, California, killing two people.  The Ontario police chief said that officers were called on scene for another issue when the garage blew up killing the two and injuring others.  Next, Joe Biden’s handlers are establishing a commission with which to study packing the U.S. Supreme Court as well as other courts.  In other court news, Senator Sheldon Whitehouse, D-RI, sent a new letter to the FBI demanding a FURTHER investigation into U.S. Supreme Court Associate Justice Brett Kavanaugh.   Senator Whitehouse- a partisan POS- says the FBI investigation back in 2018 was ‘flawed’ and that witness information went into the circular file.  What a scumbag.
  83. 2021 Tuesday U: Islamic jihadists attacked locals in Niger’s Tillaberi region killing at least 58 people and wounding countless others.   The people were returning home from a cattle market in Banibangou when the jihadists came racing up on motorcycles and began lighting the startled villagers up.  After they killed as many as they could and left the wounded to die, the reputed al-Qaida “B-team” then set local granaries ablaze in the hopes of causing famine throughout the region.  Time for the French Foreign Legion to arrive on scene and begin exterminating these Boko Haram-loving murderers, rapists, and thugs.
  84. 2021 Tuesday V: NEWS FLASH: In Atlanta, Georgia, 8 people are shot dead at a massage parlor, most of the dead being female staffers.  It appears that happy endings for the night were no more.  The suspect whose image and car were captured on security tape was apprehended more than 100 miles south of the city.  No one knows the motive yet; it could have been fraud, it could have been QAnon, it could have been someone gave the shooter the clap.  We will await further developments.
  85. 2021 Tuesday W: Mega-Millions Draw #1642 with a jackpot of $93 million on the line tonight: 10, 41, 46, 52, 69, and Mega 08.  Stay tuned for results on the winner(s).  Okay, out of 66,472 winning tickets, the highest winners were 37 people who had FOUR numbers for a prize of $437 apiece.
  86. 2022 Wednesday:  Things are moving so fast that it’s difficult to keep up.  After a heavy news day yesterday, we hope the Unseen Hand manipulating Chi-Com Joe Biden takes it a little bit slower today…

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

Canadian guitarist Robbie Robertson- the main songwriter of the Band- released his first self-titled album, “Robbie Robertson,” on October 27, 1987.  It is easy to visualize that Robertson was the guiding light behind the Band as his songwriting always rises to the top like cream atop milk.  Joining the legendary guitarist/keyboardist/vocalist are Tony Levin of King Crimson on bass, Manu Katché on drums, Daniel Lanois on guitars/vocals as well as guest appearances from Garth Hudson and Rick Danko of the Band, all of U2, and loads of other five-star musicians and performers.  This is a worthy addition to any record collection which is why we encourage everyone to seek this album out, give it a good listen, and then add it to your growing collection in the format, condition, and the price that works best for you- you will be glad you did.

[i] The Soviets would do what communists always do: march their prisoners in and give them lead to the back of the head.  Then, they haphazardly bury the corpses and leave it for others to find.  Russian scumbags.

[ii] Likewise, we expect to offer the music of Alice Cooper sometime between 2025-2027.  Please stay tuned.

[iii] We hope to share the music of Manfred Mann’s Earth Band at some point within the next 5-7 years.  Stick around for the glorious day when we do.  You will be glad you did.

[iv] We hope to share the music of Heart within the next 15 years or so.  Stick around for the glorious, mind-altering day.

[v] We began promoting the music of both the Beatles and the band’s individual components on Friday, 04-November-2016 through Sunday, 11-June-2018.  Besides the Beatles, we also promoted the music of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, and George Harrison as well as the Traveling Wilburys.

[vi] Not sure when we will promote the music of Van Halen but when we do, we will also present the music of Sammy Hagar so please stay tuned.

[vii] Jessie Jane Duff, GySgt. U.S.M.C. Retired says the purpose of the military is to break things and kill people, not to serve as some sort of laboratory for left-wing social scientists to transform our society into a freak show.  The U.S. Army is second-guessing its gender-neutral policies after record numbers of young women can’t cut the mustard (but they can always like the jar).  Instead of recognizing the differences between genders and working within that framework, the Pentagon is reducing standards for men so women can score better on their physical tests.  It sounds like it’s getting to be time to move somewhere else because an army of gays and trannys is not going to defend our nation.  Note- this is ALL Barack Hussein Obama’s fault- he’s the one who f**ked up the military.

[viii] Look, about ten years ago, Democratic Congressman Hank Johnson, Georgia, asked military leaders if MORE assets were sent to Guam would the island capsize and sink into the sea.  This moron STILL sits in Congress.  Whatever MTG said is nothing compared to this Rhodes scholar.

296. TODAY IN HISTORY—SATURDAY, OCTOBER 23, 2021

72. 2021 Saturday I: POLITICAL NEWS I- GOP lawmakers are calling for the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing to be moved somewhere else and for the Chi-Com Olympic team to be booted. Anyone who watches this crap is akin to attendees at the 1936 Berlin Summer Olympics. The world cannot give these totalitarian scumbags the time of day; no, we must resist them with all our might. Remember this: ALL communist governments are illegitimate. That means that the government of Taiwan is the RIGHTFUL RULER of mainland China.

  50. 2013 Wednesday: Now that the world knows that the National Security Agency under the control of President Barack Hussein Obama has been scooping up metadata from around the world including our NATO allies, German Chancellor Angela Merkel lodges a formal protest against the U.S. government for committing heinous acts such as this.   Meanwhile, another foreign ally, Pakistani President Nawaz Sharif begs the Obama administration to end ongoing drone strikes that are killing all sorts of innocent people.  Things are rough for Barack Hussein.  Finally, the U.S. extends the deadline to sign up for Obamacare or face PENALTIES.

  52. 2015 Friday: Benghazi committee investigating the assault on our embassy in that war-torn nation back in 2012 Republican chairman Trey Gowdy admits that ‘no added information regarding Hillary or Barack Obama’s mishandling of the tragic events that occurred on the anniversary of September 11.’   Meanwhile, the Obama administration asks Congress to back bankruptcy help for the forever-struggling Puerto Rico.
  53. 2016 Sunday: In Iraq, Turkish troops begin firing artillery onto ISIS positions in the war-ravaged city of Mosul as the Pentagon promises an increase in U.S. airstrikes on the positions held by the murderous human waste.   Elsewhere in Syria, a three-day ceasefire brings about no gains in humanitarian efforts to bring succor to the Syrian people.  Say it ain’t so.
  54. 2017 Monday: Violent attacks continue in Afghanistan as out-of-control jihadis like the Taliban and their ISIS cousins launch suicide attacks on Afghan government troops and law enforcement.  At least 250 are slain in these monstrous attacks which tells us we should be employing the neutron bomb against jihadist positions and territories.   Elsewhere, following the deaths of four U.S. Special Forces soldiers in the African country of Niger- something of which very few seemed to have any knowledge- the U.S. Senate plans to review war authorizations used by presidents since September 11, 2001, to send U.S. troops around the world to combat terrorism.  Again, we stress, NO one knew where we have troops around the world, in more than 100 countries.  Why are they there?  What are they doing?  President Trump plans on ending this facet of the military-industrial complex scheme.
  55. 2018 Tuesday: In the first game of the 2018 World Series, the Boston Red Sox beat the Los Angeles Dodgers by a score of 8-4 at Fenway Park.   Elsewhere, Austrian scientists report that for the first time, microplastics have been discovered in the stools of human beings.   Elsewhere, the United Nations reports that more than half of Yemen’s population is facing famine due to the Houthi rebels and their Iranian backers war.  The Saudis and other Arab coalition partners are trying to drive the Iranian scum out of the poorest Arab country in the world.   Meanwhile, as the mid-term elections draw closer, Democratic challenger for governor of Georgia- Stacey Abrams- continues whining about VOTER SUPPRESSION AND INTIMIDATION.  Democrats are the ones who suppress votes and intimidate voters, Stacey so shut the hell up.
  56. 2019 Wednesday:  As the Democrats move their impeachment hearings for President Donald J. Trump into the bowels of the House into the SCIF- sensitive compartment information facility, a mob of Republican lawmakers- locked out of the hearings- storm the room driving House Intel chairman Adam “Pencil-Neck” Schiff into a fit of anger.  The Democrats are trying to use Star Chamber activities to go after Trump and thankfully, the GOP is going to have none of it.   Elsewhere, in Game 2 of the 2019 World Series, the Washington Nationals beat the Houston Astros 12-3 in Houston.  Meanwhile, Spain decides to remove the remains of the nation’s savior- Generalissimo Francisco “El Caudillo” Franco- from the National Mausoleum and dump them somewhere else.  Many leftists whine that like Hitler and Mussolini, Franco should have no respect but were it not for him, Spain would have ended up like the Soviet Union.  God bless you, El Caudillo!
  57. 2020 Friday: Following last night’s final debate between President Donald J. Trump and former vice president “Pro-China Joe” Biden, most viewers, and critics favor Trump for the victory and not Obama’s No. 2.  Piers Morgan, not a big fan of the president, said that President Trump ‘exposed Biden’s flaws.’  Speaking of the Biden-Harris ticket, Sen. Bernie Sanders, DS-VT, is pushing Mr. Biden to make him the next secretary of labor.   Elsewhere, U.S. Secretary of State is in Asia, strengthening relationships between our allies there and building up our joint defenses against the Chi-Coms.   In addition to that, the U.S. inks a deal with which to strengthen families around the world and to stop the avalanche of abortions across the planet.  We cannot abort our future.   Finally, the Trump administration slaps new sanctions on Iranian companies involved in trying to sway our elections.
  58. 2020 Friday A: Pfizer is testing a COVID-19 vaccine on teens and pre-teens, hoping to have something with which, the young people can be inoculated against the Chinese virus so schools and sports can return to normal.  However, we also hear that unless we can bring the end of COVID-19 to the planet and soon, our Social Security and Medicare could be depleted by 2030 or sooner due to lost taxes from workers.  This is the snowball effect a pandemic such as this can cause the nation.  We must reopen and soon and life must return to normal.   Elsewhere, the Trump administration announces that Sudan will soon be normalizing relations with Israel putting yet more pressure on the Iranians and the Palestinians to make peace.  NO wonder Iran is trying to push American voters to vote for their preferred candidate, “Pro-China Joe” Biden.

  61. 2020 Friday D: Here are the numbers for the Mega Millions #1601 Draw tonight with a $97 million jackpot: 18, 34, 44, 60, 69, and Mega 22.  The highest winners were 29 people who had four numbers for a prize of $573 apiece.  Meanwhile, in Game 3 of the 2020 World Series, the Dodgers beat the Tampa Bay Rays by a final score of 6-2, taking a 2-1 Series lead.
  62. 2020 Friday E: Communist China continues threatening the United States that IF the U.S. sells arms to Taiwan, war could be on the horizon.  Meanwhile, Vladimir Putin cannot rule out a Chi-Com-Russia alliance in a war against the United States.    Elsewhere, Fox News reports that the Hunter Biden laptop documents don’t show ‘clear ties to “Pro-China Joe” Biden’ but ‘tough questions still remain.’  Viewership for the 2nd (actually the 3rd) Trump-Biden debate dropped to 63 million.  Finally, the Department of Justice reports that incarceration rates for blacks and Hispanics have ‘nosedived.’
  63. 2021 Saturday: COVID-19 STATISTICS FOR THE PLANET AS A WHOLE: 244,109,329 confirmed cases, +377,072, 4,959,193 confirmed deaths, +5,777 and 221,175,866 confirmed recoveries, +319,861. We genuinely welcome COVID Live Update World Meter for being honest in covering ALL the numbers- God bless them.[v]
  64. 2021 Saturday A: JOE BIDEN TO DONALD J. TRUMP COVID-19 DEATHS- Note: since Joe Biden became president on January 20, 2021, there have been 442,109 CHI-VI DEATHS IN THE United States- mentally deficient old Joe, by the end of the year, you will have tied the total number seen by the Trump administration in a year of the rampaging coronavirus pandemic. Under President Trump’s watch, there were 404,078 fatalities from the Chi-Com Bat Virus.  From this point forward, ALL COVID-19 deaths are atop him.  He has surpassed President Donald J. Trump with 38,041 Chi-Com lab-engineered virus deaths.
  65. 2021 Saturday B: COVID-19 STATISTICS in the four states in which, the world-famous American Institute of Culinary Politics-the Elemental News of the Day employs chef-bloggers- California, Florida, Hawaii, and Washington- here are the stats, California first: 4,757,672 confirmed cases, 71,544 confirmed deaths, and 2,530,325 confirmed recoveries.  Moving on, here are the numbers for Florida: 3,681,830 confirmed cases, 58,608 confirmed deaths, and 3,089,778 confirmed recoveries (same numbers).  Next here are the numbers for Hawaii: 83,188 confirmed cases, 885 confirmed deaths, and 82,308 of confirmed recoveries.  Finally, here are the stats for Washington: 713,646 confirmed cases, 8,512 confirmed deaths, and 304,318 confirmed recoveries (same numbers).  Let us look at one other part of the U.S., South Dakota: they have 152,308 confirmed cases, 2,218 confirmed deaths, and 144,427 confirmed recoveries.[vi]
  66. 2021 Saturday C: FOREIGN COVID STATS OF THE DAY- Now that Mo has moved to Israel, let us look at the statistics there: 1,322,395 confirmed cases, 8,046 confirmed deaths, and 1,300,954 confirmed recoveries (same numbers).   Let us look at one other portion of the world- Romania, 30th country on the list: 1,550,203 cases of the virus, 44,290 confirmed death and 1,313,756 confirmed recoveries.[vii]
  67. 2021 Saturday D: STOCK MARKET CLOSES/PRECIOUS AND RARE METALS: DOW Jones Industrial Average: 34,677.02, UP 73.94 points (+0.21%).  Next, the NASDAQ: 15,090.20 DOWN 125.50 points (-0.82%).  Finally, here are the stats for the S&P 500: 4,544.90, DOWN 4.88 points (-0.11%).  The price of Light Sweet Crude Oil is $83.98 per barrel, +1.48 (+1.79%).  The price of GOLD is $1,937.10 per troy oz., +11.20 (+0.63%) while the price of SILVER is $24.39 per troy ounce, +0.22 (+0.91%).  The price of PLATINUM is $1,043.50 per troy oz, -6.20 (-0.59%) while the price of COPPER is $4.50 per pound, -0.06 (-1.24%).[viii]  The price of PALLADIUM is $2,021.79 per troy oz., +5.13 (+0.25%). 68. 2021 Saturday E: U.S. NATIONAL DEBT AND GASOLINE PRICES IN THE FOUR STATES IN WHICH WE HAVE CHEF-AUTHORS- Thanks to the Biden administration, gasoline prices continue rising by the day and NOTE- these prices are sans TAXES- in California, gasoline prices have risen to $4.541 per gallon, $3.313 in Florida, $4.268 in Hawaii, and $3.877 in Washington state.[xi]    Let us look at one other West Virginia: $3.264.  We are going to do something else that could be fun- gasoline prices around the world going from cheapest to highest.  The next country on the list has the 20th LOWEST gasoline price in the world- Oman: $2.350 per U.S. Gallon.[xii]    Meanwhile, here is a snapshot of the U.S. National Debt for today: $28,912,021,777,371 and the Democrats are adding TRILLIONS of dollars to it, not BILLIONS but frigging TRILLIONS.[xiii]  Cloward and Piven causing problems like they always do which is not good- those two bastards should have met their ends on the chopping block.  As for holders of U.S. debt, after Hong Kong, the next largest holder of U.S. debt is India with $216,000,000 of U.S. national debt (it is important to note that these numbers vary every day with one nation after another jockeying for top position.
  69. 2021 Saturday F: JOE BIDEN’S BORDER CATASTROPHE I- Sad but true, today is Day No. 212 for the ‘Border Czar’ “Kooky Kamala” Harris to be in charge of the U.S.-Mexico border and the ongoing crisis down there and Day No. 119 since she showed up to do her job.  Don’t you think it’s time to fire this loser?  Only thing about that is that California does not want her to return to the state.  She is now the entire nation’s problem (and Congressman James Clyburn, you POS- she rests solely upon YOU.  Next, here are the numbers for today as presented by One America News.  First, here is the cost to U.S. taxpayers of caring for this human garbage for just this day: $627,384,704.  Stunning how much money our government is willing to spend to replace U.S. voters with Third World refuse.  Next, here is the cost to taxpayers for the entire year to date: $323,915,153,408.  Third, here is the figure for the numbers of illegals who have swarmed into the country for this just this year: 3,319,870.  Finally, here is the CONSERVATIVE LOW ESTIMATE for the illegals living in our country as we speak, sucking away at the taxpayers’ teats: 37,319,872.  Round them up and deport them.  (Sources for One America News Illegal Alien Numbers: Center for Immigration Studies, Department of Homeland Security, Federation for American Immigration Reform, Institute for Defense Analyses, Yale, and MIT).
  70. 2021 Saturday G: JOE BIDEN’S BORDER CATASTROPHE II- Down in southern Mexico, tens of thousands of illegal aliens are forcing their way through roadblocks set up by Mexican military forces.  Folks, start employing lead on these people, it’s the only way we can halt the ongoing disaster caused by that POS feeble Joe “Slobbering” Biden.  Next, up to 5,000 U.S. Border Patrol agents are set to lose their jobs in a couple of weeks due to their refusal to get the Chi-Vi vaccines as mandated by the illegitimate ‘president’ in the White House.  This will effectively absolve the Border Patrol as a force capable of repelling the invasion.  Time to arm up and head south.  Someone has to save the country.
  71. 2021 Saturday H: COVID-19 UPDATES AND ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I- We learned today from watching One America News that the COVID-19 vaccine is effective ONLY for the alpha variant of the Chi-Vi, the original one the Chi-Coms let loose upon the world.  Since then, the vaccines have changed and the proof of how ineffective they are is in the push by the Biden regime that everyone get 2, 3, 4, or more in a never-ending line of getting one jab after another of vaccines we know little to nothing about.  Dr. Brian Tyson told Pearson Sharp that Pfizer emails acknowledge that fetal tissue cells from aborted fetuses are an integral part in the creation, formulation, testing, and ultimate injection into the body of anyone unwilling to resist the Mark of the Beast.  This is crazy, folks, absolutely insane, just as employers being told NOT to report side effects among their jabbed employees to VAERS.  Dr. Tyson also acknowledged that more than 46,000 seniors died within two weeks of receiving COVID-19 shots.  What is the correlation here?  Within two flipping weeks of getting a shot.  Think Hank Aaron.  Think Colin Powell.  Resist now.  Also, how is it that Pfizer can claim that ‘their shot is 95-percent effective in 5–11-year-old children?  There is NO data to support this crazy claim.  Keep your kids away from this crap.
  72. 2021 Saturday I: POLITICAL NEWS I- GOP lawmakers are calling for the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing to be moved somewhere else and for the Chi-Com Olympic team to be booted.
  73. 2021 Saturday J: CRIME AND PUNISHMENT NEWS-LAW ENFORCEMENT NEWS I-  Lyft shared the absolutely shocking figures with the world today: between 2017 and 2019, the ride-share service recorded 4,000 sexual assaults.  What the hell is going on?  Who would ride in one of their flipping cars?  This is insane.  What is Congress going to do about this appalling statistic?  Most likely, nothing.
  74. 2021 Saturday K: SPORTS NEWS I- The Atlanta Braves (95-75) are in the World Series, folks.  Tonight, in a stunning victory, they beat the visiting Los Angeles Dodgers (112-61) and the reigning World Series champions, no less- by a final score of 4-2.  The World Series begins next Tuesday in Houston, Texas.
  75. 2021 Saturday L: CALIFORNIA LOTTERY RESULTS-SUPER LOTTO AND POWERBALL DRAWS– First, here are the results for Super Lotto Draw #3606 what with a $28 million jackpot on the line for some lucky winner: 05, 20, 31, 33, 45, and Mega 21.  Out of 101,387 winning tickets, the highest winners were FOUR people who had FIVE numbers but NO Mega for a prize of $9,335 apiece.  The winning tickets were sold at (1) 76 in San Jose, CA 95131 (2) Safeway in Roseville, CA 95678 (3) Lucky Seafood in San Diego, CA 92126 and (4) Super Latino Market in Santa Rosa, CA 95407.  Next, here are the results for the Powerball Draw #901 with a jackpot of $86 million up for grabs: 10, 30, 51, 57, 63, and Power 20.  Out of 51,204 winning tickets in California, the highest winners were 32 people who had FOUR numbers for a prize of $457 apiece.

Chris Murphy, D-CT.  Enough is enough!

  67. 2020 Wednesday F: Next, in the three states in which, the world-famous American Institute of Culinary Politics-The Elemental News of the Day employs chef-authors, California, Hawaii, and Washington, here are the stats, Golden State first: 796,500 confirmed cases, 15,273 confirmed deaths, but as is the norm, NO mention of confirmed recoveries.  Next, here are the stats for the Aloha State: 11,689 confirmed cases, 122 confirmed deaths, and 5,125 confirmed recoveries.  Finally, in the Ever-Red, uh, we mean, the Evergreen State, here are the stats: 87,283 confirmed cases, 2,163 confirmed deaths, but like California, the palooka-faced governor, Jay Inslee, won’t share the number of confirmed recoveries.  Shame on these flipping Democrats.  Let’s take a look at one more state, Colorado: 66,740 confirmed number of cases, 2,035 confirmed deaths, but no mention of the confirmed number of recoveries- thank you, Governor Jared Polis for being another Democratic POS and remaining mum on this figure.  Smoking too much pot, there, son?  Speaking of the Wuhan Virus Crisis, Johnson & Johnson announce that they are in the final stage of trials in their development of a vaccine for the Chinese Virus.  Thank you!

  69. 2020 Wednesday H: Sadly, famed Chicago Bears running back Gale Sayers is dead at age 77.   Meanwhile, Tucker Carlson on his show, Tucker Carlson Tonight, reports that the Hearst Corporation (it would have to be the king of yellow journalism) is among the big billionaire donors to the mob violence we see going on around the country.  He also reports that scumbags such as Palestinian jihadi and misogynist Linda Sarsour is urging the young leftists to ‘burn it all down.’   He also reports that the city of Seattle, Washington, now is paying a pimp- a human trafficker- the sum of $150,000 per year to consult on how to keep the streets ‘safe.’
  70. 2020 Wednesday I:  We will have to wait and see what the Chi-Com puppeteers and their Democratic Party puppets are up to today; please, stick around and find out…well, we now know that a recent report condemns the Chi-Coms for their behavior in occupied Tibet, a Buddhist country and one they have kept imprisoned in their orbit for decades, enslaving the people, forcing them to surrender their culture, their language, and their ways under threat of violence and death.  The Chi-Coms swear this ‘not so, Joe,’ but we know the fascist government in Beijing is cruel, trying to force the Tibetan people to become ‘good Chinese.’  Time to start nuking the commies.
  71. 2020 Wednesday J: Update on Louisville, Kentucky, the violent, out-of-control Antifa and Black Lives Matter thugs have shot and wounded two police officers, are running amok though the city, trying to storm the mayor’s home, the hospital where the injured cops are being treated, and threatening all manner of other atrocities such as murdering cops.  Chi-Coms, WE KNOW you are behind this anarchy, and you will indeed pay for your crimes.

ENDNOTES:

[i] We began promoting the music of the Lovin’ Spoonful on Saturday, 14-September-2013 and concluded the presentation on Tuesday, 24-September-2013.  Please check them out and add them to your growing CD collection- they are one of the greats.

[ii] We promoted the music of the Jefferson Starship beginning on Tuesday, 05-April-2011 through Sunday, 22-May-2011.  This presentation included the Jefferson Airplane, too, of which, the artist was NOT a member.  His brother was the lead guitarist for the Airplane.

[iii] We hope to offer the music of Alice Cooper one day so please keep posted until we do.  We think you will appreciate them, especially the original band.

[iv] When we present the music of the Allman Brothers Band, we will present the music of Gov’t Mule.  Stay tuned for further developments.

[v] Not sure when we will promote the music of the Average White Band but hope to do it at some point within the next 25 years.  Stick with us as you will be among the first to know.

[vi] Barack Obama most likely was born in Kenya as many sources claim and therefore an illegal president.,

[vii] We won’t be doing the music of Shawn Mendes.  We only do serious musicians.

[viii] Sadly, little Ms. Greta Thunberg is a perfect example of an indoctrinated leftist, frightened into believing that CLIMATE CHANGE is something caused by humans.  Any person who has ever taken a university-level geography class understands that the Sun is the number one driver of all things to do with climate and on every planet in the Solar System that has one, every satellite that has one.  The amount (or lack) of solar flares, sunspots, and the intensity or lessening of the solar winds understands that these are the driving forces of climate change.  We can combat pollution and maintain a pristine environment but we cannot control how hot or cool the summers are or vice versa what the winters are.  Stop scaring people you flipping left-wing climate activists!

248. TODAY IN HISTORY—SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 05, 2021

Meanwhile, enemies of the president continue claiming he called dead U.S. servicemen from the First World War ‘losers’ and ‘suckers’ during a visit to France in 2018. Jennifer Griffin of Fox News Channel swears she has numerous sources claiming it to be 150-percent true, yet they won’t come forward out of fear of mean Tweets (by Trump) that will be sent their way. Oh, please, if the ‘sources’ are Generals John Kelly and “Mad Dog” Mattis and a creep such as Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, we know how honest these ‘sources’ are. Crybabies.

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

The next album by Martin Barre- “Live at the Factory Underground”- came out on February 14, 2019.  The famed guitarist and one of the longest-serving members of Jethro Tull went out and conducted a musical celebration of his half century in the music industry.  He performed his tunes as well as those of Jethro Tull and what a show it was.  The band features Mr. Barre (guitars, mandolins, banjos, flutes, and keyboards), Dan Crisp (guitars and vocals), George Lindsey and David Schoepke (drums and percussion), and Alan Thompson (bass, vocals).  Say what you will about the old timers, compared to modern-day garbage, this man lights the stage on fire.  We hope that everyone will go to their favorite site for the absolute best in rock and roll music and pick it up.  You will be glad you did.

[xi] The Obama Justice Department- whether in the hands of Eric Holder or Loretta Lynch- tapped reporters phone lines more than any other president, hauled them into court to force them to disclose sources, and prosecuted more than three-times the amount of uncovered leakers than any president has, either before or after him.   Yet, Democrats shed tears that Trump is an ‘enemy of the press.’  No, the Fake News Media is the enemy of the American people.

No one asked the leftist to be there and it should be clear to all that she was pretty damned stupid to put herself between the home of a terrorist and an Israeli bulldozer.  No sympathy for her.
  43. 2004 Tuesday: as things in the Iraq War continue going from bad to worse, President George W. Bush begs his Coalition allies to stick it out with the U.S.  Democrats in the U.S. are doing everything to transform the war into one of major disaster so they can elect a Democrat in November.

  47. 2008 Sunday: With the collapse of Bear Stearns over the housing crisis, the world economy finds itself on shaky footing.
  48. 2009 Monday: Outrage continues to grow over collapsing AIG’s decision to pay out hundreds of millions of dollars in bonuses to its top managers and CEO. Wow.

  57. 2018 Friday: At age 89, Li Ka-Shing- Asia’s second wealthiest person (and Hong Kong resident) announces his retirement from the world of business.  Elsewhere, as the United States continues reaching out to North Korea, South Korea and the U.S. jointly announce that they will scale down annual military drills so as to draw the North into direct talks.
  58. 2019 Saturday: In Mabini, Philippines, a dead beached whale is discovered to have 88 pounds of plastic refuse in his guts, including 40 pounds of plastic bags.
  59. 2020 Monday: Thanks to the Wuhan Virus out of Wuhan, China, panic continues gripping the world.  The markets have been in freefall, with a Bear market that began last week continuing.  The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 20188.52, down 2,997.10 points.  The S & P 500 is down 324.89, closing at 2386.13.  The NASDAQ is down 970.28 and closed at 6904.55.
  60. 2021 Tuesday:  Things are moving so fast that it’s difficult to keep up.  After a heavy news day yesterday, we hope the Unseen Hand manipulating Chi-Com Joe Biden takes it a little bit slower today…

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

While this might sound sexist, we don’t give a flying flip, old axmen are always in search of younger collaborators and thus we find German rocker Michael Schenker joining forces with fellow ‘axman’ Amy Schugar and her San Francisco rockers to deliver a great album.  “Under Construction” came out on November 18, 2003 and joining the dynamic duo were Fred Robinson (guitars), Tory Edwards (violins), Mark Lehman (bass), and Matt Indes (drums).  Some fans claim this album lifts their minds to higher, more ethereal levels, something with which we concur.  Having been there for the original Psychedelic Era (and man, was it a good time), the second blossoming of psychedelica has brought new listeners into a timeless movement.  If you want to hear some amazing music performed by some awesome musicians, this album is one that everyone should seek out and consider adding it to your collection.  We think you will be extremely glad that you did.

297. TODAY IN HISTORY—FRIDAY, OCTOBER 23, 2020

R. 1942 Friday: During World War II, British forces launched a major offensive against Axis troops at El Alamein in North Africa resulting in an Allied victory. Meanwhile, on the Eastern Front, elements of the German Sixth Army take control of 90-percent of the Red October tractor Factory and parts of the Barricades factory. Soviet resistance continues fighting on but casualties are shockingly high as both sides struggle to create a final outcome in the fight for the city. East of the Volga River, the Soviet buildup continues but German surveillance is lax and does not pick it up. Axis allies Rumania, Hungary, and Italy are aware of it and report the information to their higherups- the Germans- who dismiss it believing the Soviet pool of manpower is almost dry.

Bush administration’s Pentagon has seen private military contracting firms contracts quadruple to $4 billion per year.  Like privatized prisons, leftists hate this sort of activity and want it to stop.
  43. 2008 Thursday: Recent polls in the battleground states show that the Obama-Biden ticket is building up steam and that the McCain-Palin ticket is going to lose big time.  Perhaps if McCain would put up a fight instead of firing everyone who uses Barack Hussein Obama’s full name, he might be doing better.  Meanwhile, Iraqis protest a new status of forces agreement that will permit U.S. troops to remain in that f—ked-up country.

  49. 2014 Thursday: North Korea releases one of three American captives as a show of ‘niceness’ to the world- 56-year-old Jeffrey Fowie, who left a Bible in a sailor’s club (how did you do this?) while he was visiting the lovely country.  The North Koreans said this was ‘illegal as hell.’  They still hold Matthew Miller and Kenneth Bae.
  50. 2015 Friday: Benghazi committee investigating the assault on our embassy in that war-torn nation back in 2012 Republican chairman Trey Gowdy admits that ‘no added information regarding Hillary or Barack Obama’s mishandling of the tragic events that occurred on the anniversary of September 11.’   Meanwhile, the Obama administration asks Congress to back bankruptcy help for the forever-struggling Puerto Rico.
  51. 2016 Sunday: In Iraq, Turkish troops begin firing artillery onto ISIS positions in the war-ravaged city of Mosul as the Pentagon promises an increase in U.S. airstrikes on the positions held by the murderous human waste.   Elsewhere in Syria, a three-day ceasefire brings about no gains in humanitarian efforts to bring succor to the Syrian people.  Say it ain’t so.
  52. 2017 Monday: Violent attacks continue in Afghanistan as out-of-control jihadis like the Taliban and their ISIS cousins launch suicide attacks on Afghan government troops and law enforcement.
  53. 2018 Tuesday: In the first game of the 2018 World Series, the Boston Red Sox beat the Los Angeles Dodgers by a score of 8-4 at Fenway Park.
  54. 2019 Wednesday:  As the Democrats move their impeachment hearings for President Donald J.
  55. 2020 Friday: Following last night’s final debate between President Donald J.
  56. 2020 Friday A: Pfizer is testing a COVID-19 vaccine on teens and pre-teens, hoping to have something with which, the young people can be inoculated against the Chinese virus so schools and sports can return to normal.
  57. 2020 Friday B: Folks, here are the numbers for the Xi Jinping Bat Flu- Pelosi Pox:  Here are the statistics for the planet as a whole: 42,006,178 confirmed cases, +1,354,101, 1,140,759, confirmed deaths, +18,723, and 28,423,572 confirmed recoveries, +25,461,512.  Next, here are the stats for the United States, the intended target of the Chinese-engineered Wuhan Virus pandemic: 8,568,527 confirmed cases, up 84,435 from yesterday’s reporting, 227,059 confirmed deaths, UP 912, and 5,376,236 confirmed recoveries, UP 22,421.  Next, in the three states in which, the world-famous American Institute of Culinary Politics-the Elemental News of the Day employs chef-bloggers- California, Hawaii, and Washington- here are the stats, California first: 897,543 confirmed cases, 17,276 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Next here are the numbers for Hawaii: 14,478 confirmed cases, 206 confirmed deaths, and 11,232 confirmed recoveries.  Finally, here are the stats for leftist-Marxist-socialist hellhole of Washington: 105,404 confirmed cases, 2,390 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Now that Mo has relocated to Israel, let’s look at the statistics there: 308,840 confirmed cases, 2,329 confirmed deaths, and 290,130 confirmed recoveries.   Let’s look at one other state: Idaho- currently, they have 56,924 confirmed cases, 560 confirmed deaths, and 27,221 confirmed recoveries- thank you, Governor Brad Little, for providing us with the full sets of numbers.
  58. 2020 Friday C: Here are the stats for today’s Stock Market closes: first the DOW Jones Industrial Average, 28,335.57, DOWN 28.09 points (+0.99%).  Next, here are the stats for the NASDAQ:  11,548.28, UP 42.28 points (+0.37%).  Finally, here are the numbers for the S&P 500: 3,465.39, UP 11.90 points (+0.034%).  Price of GOLD: $1,903.40 per troy oz., -1.80 (-0.09%)  Here is the price of SILVER: $24.70 per troy oz., +0.025 (+0.10%).  Price of PLATINUM: $908.60 per troy oz., +1.90 (+0.21%).  Price of PALLADIUM: $2,398.60 per troy oz., +2.70 (+0.11%).  Here is the price of COPPER: $3.14 per #, +0.014 (+0.45%).   Price of Light Sweet Crude Oil per barrel: $39.78, -0.07 (-0.18%).  Today, one-dollar U.S. = 6.68 PRC yuan whereas one U.S. greenback = 0.84 euros.  Just for a lark, $1 U.S. = 76.78 Afghan afghani.
  59. 2020 Friday D: Here are the numbers for the Mega Millions #1601 Draw tonight with a $97 million jackpot: 18, 34, 44, 60, 69, and Mega 22.  The highest winners were 29 people who had four numbers for a prize of $573 apiece.  Meanwhile, in Game 3 of the 2020 World Series, the Dodgers beat the Tampa Bay Rays by a final score of 6-2, taking a 2-1 Series lead.
  60. 2020 Friday E: Communist China continues threatening the United States that IF the U.S. sells arms to Taiwan, war could be on the horizon. Finally, the Department of Justice reports that incarceration rates for blacks and Hispanics has ‘nosedived.’
  61. 2020 Friday F:  We haven’t a clue as to what the Chi-Coms, their patsy “Pro-China Joe” Biden, his son, Hunter, and the Democratic Party is up to today, so stick around and encounter their wrongdoings with us.  We will keep you posted.  Please, stick around to find out today’s Mega-Millions lottery numbers, too.

  60. 2020 Wednesday A: Deceased U.S. Supreme Court Associate Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg is lying in repose at the Supreme Court building, this being her first day.  She will lie there tomorrow and will then- on Friday- become the first woman ever to lie in state at the U.S. Capitol.  Sobbing mobs of North Korean-like followers stumble past her lifeless body paying their respects as though she is some sort of despot laid out and everyone ordered to turn out to make it seem as though she had an amazing following.  The Dems, after all, demand WE MUST RESPECT HER ‘FINAL’ WISHES that another president besides #45 nominate her replacement.
  61. 2020 Wednesday B: Meanwhile, President Trump is honoring the surviving veterans of the Bay of Pigs fiasco of the early 1960s when President John F. Kennedy made a half-assed attempt at toppling Cuban communist dictator Fidel Castro.  God bless you guys!  Elsewhere, Democratic senators are wailing and whining that ‘GOP senators have promised to vote for whomever the replacement for Ruth Bader Ginsburg sight unseen will be.’  Wah, wah, wah: LOOK- Dems, you are already vilifying whomever the nominee is going to be sight unseen so STFU!  This means YOU, Sen. Chris Murphy, D-CT.  Enough is enough!
  62. 2020 Wednesday C: In order to placate angry mobs of Black Lives Matter and Antifa goons, Uncle Ben’s rice is changing its name AND removing its iconic image.  The new name will be “Ben’s Original.”  So long, Ben, you and Aunt Jemima can now spend the rest of your days on vacation.  We love you! Elsewhere, Louisville, Kentucky, continues bracing for possible mob violence once the Grand Jury’s report into the untimely demise of Breonna Taylor at the hands of city cops hits newsstands.  Look, we believe that had they NOT had a NO KNOCK WARRANT and had Taylor’s boyfriend not started slinging lead at the cops, she would be alive today, plain, and simple.  The boyfriend, Kenneth Walker, played a major role in this fiasco so folks, stop with the mob violence. Update: the Grand Jury indicts Officer Brett Hankison on three counts of wanton endangerment.  We shall see what we shall see… Second update: Antifa and Black Lives Matter seen unloading riot gear from a U-Haul truck 15 minutes away from the grand jury site.  Trouble on the way- expect out of control violent mob riots by sundown.
  63. 2020 Wednesday D: Billionaire neo-leftist Michael Bloomberg, former candidate for the 2020 Democratic Party’s 2020 presidential nomination finds himself in a brewing S-storm over his personal paying of the fines of 32,000 felons of color in exchange for them voting Democrat on November 3.  This is an example of a quid pro quo that might get the billionaire member of the #MeToo Club into legal trouble.  Go for it, Florida Department of Justice!  Meanwhile, a U.S. Senate committee chaired by Senator Ron Johnson, R-WI, finds both former Vice President “Pro-China Joe” Biden and his son, the erstwhile Hunter, culpable of wrongdoing in the Ukraine.  This alone should drive the senile elder Biden from the race and send his son to prison for engaging in corruption, self-enrichment, and possible crimes.  Finally, Governor Gavin “The Smiler” Newsom announces that by 2035, NO MORE GAS-FUELED cars and trucks will be sold.  He claims this will improve the environment of the state.  Question, Governor Newsom: where will the power for these vehicles originate?  Wind and solar farms?  You are trying to lay off massive taxes on renewable energy sources in November so WTF is wrong with you?
  64. 2020 Wednesday E: Here are today’s Comrade Xi Jinping’s Chi-Com Bat Flu Statistics for the globe: 31,759,233 confirmed cases, UP by 306,185 cases, 973,904 confirmed deaths, UP by 6,557 deaths, and 21,811,742 confirmed recoveries, UP by 228,075 recoveries.  Here are the numbers for the United States: 7,025,624 confirmed cases, UP by 57,398 new cases, 205,066 confirmed deaths, UP by 1,620 new deaths, and 3,858,625 confirmed recoveries, UP by 98,768 new recoveries.  (The number of recoveries would be even greater if Blue State governors would report them but alas, we know they won’t- corrupt motherf**kers).  Now that Mo is living in Israel, here are the numbers for that nation: 204,690 confirmed cases, 1,325 confirmed deaths, and 144,963 confirmed recoveries.
  65. 2020 Wednesday F: Next, in the three states in which, the world-famous American Institute of Culinary Politics-The Elemental News of the Day employs chef-authors, California, Hawaii, and Washington, here are the stats, Golden State first: 796,500 confirmed cases, 15,273 confirmed deaths, but as is the norm, NO mention of confirmed recoveries. Thank you!
  66. 2020 Wednesday G: Here are today’s BIG Stock Market closes: DOW Jones Industrial Average: 26,763.13, DOWN a whopping 525.05 points (-1.92%).  Next, the NASDAQ: 10,632.99, DOWN 330.65 points (-3.02%).  Finally, here are the stats for the S&P 500: 3,236.92, DOWN 78.65 points (-2.37%).  The price of GOLD is $1,866.20 per troy oz., -2.20 (-0.12%) while the price of SILVER is $22.55 per troy ounce, -0.555 (-2.40%).  The price of PLATINUM is $838.00 per troy oz, -5.00 (-0.59%) while the price of COPPER is $2.97 per pound, 0.0275 (-0.92%).  The price of PALLADIUM is $2,227.00 per troy oz, -6.00 (-0.27%).  The price of Light Sweet Crude Oil is $39.50 per barrel, -0.43 (-1.08%).  Currently, one-dollar U.S. = 6.82 Chi-Com yuan.   Meanwhile, one-dollar U.S. = 0.86 euros and in Mexican pesos equals 22.41.
  67. 2020 Wednesday H: Sadly, famed Chicago Bears running back Gale Sayers is dead at age 77.   Meanwhile, Tucker Carlson on his show, Tucker Carlson Tonight, reports that the Hearst Corporation (it would have to be the king of yellow journalism) is among the big billionaire donors to the mobs violence we see going on around the country.
  68. 2020 Wednesday I:  We will have to wait and see what the Chi-Com puppeteers and their Democratic Party puppets are up to today; please, stick around and find out…well, we now know that a recent report condemns the Chi-Coms for their behavior in occupied Tibet, a Buddhist country and one they have kept imprisoned in their orbit for decades, enslaving the people, forcing them to surrender their culture, their language, and their ways under threat of violence and death.  The Chi-Coms swear this ‘not so, Joe,’ but we know the fascist government in Beijing is cruel, trying to force the Tibetan people to become ‘good Chinese.’  Time to start nuking the commies.
  69. 2020 Wednesday J: Update on Louisville, Kentucky, the violent, out-of-control Antifa and Black Lives Matter thugs have shot and wounded two police officers, are running amok though the city, trying to storm the mayor’s home, the hospital where the injured cops are being treated, and threatening all manner of other atrocities such as murdering cops.  Chi-Coms, WE KNOW you are behind this anarchy and you will indeed pay for your crimes.
  70. 2020 Wednesday K: Who knows what else will come…
