Barkley; U.S. Supreme Court Associate Justice John Archibald Campbell; U.S. Attorneys General Homer Stille Cummings and Richard Kleindienst; Second Fuhrer and Grand Admiral Karl Dönitz; Nazi Foreign Minister Joaquim Von Ribbentrop; the Association featuring Larry Ramos, Muddy Waters, and Nazareth featuring Darrell Sweet:

  9. 1857 Thursday: San Jose State University begins forming.
  10. 1861 Tuesday: At the outset of the American Civil War, President Abraham Lincoln orders the evacuation of Indian Territory by Federal troops.  Elsewhere, the nation’s 33rd U.S. Supreme Court Associate Justice John Archibald Campbell left office on this date.  A Democrat, President Franklin Pierce nominated Campbell to fill the seat of Associate Justice John McKinley.  Campbell served from March 22, 1853 until today.
  11. 1863 Thursday: In Mexico, as the French regime of Maximillian is under assault, at Camerone, the foundation for the French Foreign Legion’s most distinguished holiday occurs at a battered farmhouse.  Three officers- led by a captain with a wooden hand- and 63 rankers- held out against a howling mob of more than 2,000 Mexicans.  All day, the sun baked the ramshackle building that was becoming as porous as a kitchen sieve with all the flying lead plowing through it witnessed the deaths of most of the defenders until late in the day, the remaining five Legionnaires made the grim decision: to fix bayonets, fire their last round, and then charge out at the screeching mad attackers.  So they did, they charged out, went into Legion history for all time, and the Mexicans were so surprised that the lives of the three survivors.
  12. 1864 Saturday: New York becomes the first state to issue and to charge for a hunting license.
  13. 1870 Saturday: Future 55th U.S. Attorney General Homer Stille Cummings is born in Chicago, Illinois, on this date.  A future Democrat, he would serve under President Franklin Delano Roosevelt from March 04, 1933 to January 02, 1939.

  15. 1889 Tuesday: The inauguration of George Washington became the first national holiday in the United States.
  16. 1893 Sunday: In Wesel, Germany, future Nazi Foreign Minister Joaquim Von Ribbentrop is born.  He would serve in this capacity from 1938 to 1945.  He would be executed following the Nuremburg War Crimes Trials following the war.
  17. 1900 Monday: Engineer John Luther “Casey” Jones of the Illinois Central Railroad died in a train wreck near Vaughan, Mississippi, after staying at the controls in a successful effort to save the passengers.  Meanwhile, the United States annexes the Hawaiian Islands.
  18. 1904 Saturday: The ice cream cone makes its debut.
  19. 1915 Friday: The German army gears back up for another go at the Allies during the Second Battle of Ypres.  Advancing from St. Julien, the French and British soldiers are able to impede their progress.  Meanwhile, on the Eastern Front, the Germans continue pushing east through the Baltic states routing the Russian army as they go.
  20. 1916 Sunday: Fighting in Dublin, Ireland, ends as more than 700 rebels lay down their arms to the British occupiers.  Elsewhere, the Allies continue trying to bring the German colonial forces to a decisive battle and a column crossing over from the Belgian Congo reaches Lake Victoria where they hope to trap the Germans between them and South African forces.
  21. 1918 Tuesday: British forces in the Middle East continue rolling up the Ottoman Turks.  The Ottoman Empire was a crumbling entity, long known as the “Sick Man of Europe” because it was a jaded, hollow empire just awaiting the right set of circumstances to bring about its collapse.   That collapse was coming.
  22. 1921 Saturday: In Akron, Ohio, the American Professional Football Association forms.
  23. 1930 Wednesday: The Soviet Union proposed a military alliance with Great Britain and France.
  24. 1938 Saturday: A precursor to the cartoon character, Bugs Bunny, first appeared in the Warner Brothers animated short, “Porky’s Hare Hunt.”
  25. 1939 Sunday: The New York World’s Fair officially opened with a ceremony that included an address by President Franklin Delano Roosevelt.  Meanwhile, Lou Gehrig played his final game with the New York Yankees.
  26. 1940 Tuesday: State boxing officials in California licensed Belle Martell as the United States’ first female prizefight referee.  Elsewhere, following on the heels of the evacuation of Norway’s King Haakon, British troops begin preparing for evacuation themselves.  It is clear who is going to win this fight and it’s not going to be the French and British but the Nazis.
  27. 1941 Wednesday: The Afrika Korps gears up for yet another assault on the port of Tobruk with heavy bombing attacks by bombers and dive bombers.  The general leading this assault is Friedrich von Paulus, who would end up being transferred to the attack on the Soviet Union and would become the losing commander at Stalingrad.
  28. 1942 Thursday: The Japanese naval fleet consisting of three aircraft carriers and support ships is leaving the big naval base at Truk and proceeding to Port Moresby in New Guinea for the big invasion that is coming.  The Imperial Japanese are determined to strangle the sea lanes to Australia and New Zealand.
  29. 1943 Friday: The Nazi extermination camp, Bergen-Belsen, begins construction.  Elsewhere, in London, the Free Polish Government is in a quandary what with the demand for Swiss Red Cross to investigate the Katyn Forest Massacre because if they continue pushing it, the Soviets are going to cut them out of the future of Poland (which they do anyway).
  30. 1944 Sunday: U.S. Navy warplanes continue attacking Truk and destroying loads of Japanese warplanes.  Due to severe losses among veteran pilots, the Japanese are rushing poorly trained pilots into the fight which shows the desperation afflicting them.  Surrender?  No way in hell.
  31. 1945 Monday: As Russian troops approached his Berlin Bunker, Adolf Hitler committed suicide along with his wife of one day, Eva Braun.  His successor, Grand Admiral Karl Dönitz assumed power on this date and in this capacity served under his surrender to the Allies on 05-23-1945. Still the fight rages within the city and in other parts of Czechoslovakia where Germans still hold land.  The fight is fierce because the German military now seeks to keep open ‘tunnels’ through which retreating comrades can reach the West and surrender to the American, British, and French allies and not to the Soviets.  Meanwhile, Arthur Godfrey began his CBS radio morning show, “Arthur Godfrey Time.”  It ran until this day in 1972.
  32. 1947 Wednesday: The federal government changed the name of the Boulder Dam back to the Hoover Dam.
  33. 1952 Wednesday: The first toy advertised on television is Mr. Potato Head.
  34. 1954 Friday: At Dien Bien Phu, the weather clears which is joyous news for the French Foreign Legionnaires’ feast day, the Day of Camerone when they commemorate the Legion’s history and their lost comrades.  American air crews return to flying in supplies during the daytime as well as dropping in reinforcements while fighter planes are able to attack one AA battery position after another.   Among the most important supplies dropped to the French troops was a strange gelatinous wine-substance that when combined with water became a drinkable wine.  Called vinogel, French troops kept their eyes on it all day as it lay in crates between their lines and then at night launched sorties out into No-Man’s Land to retrieve as much of it as possible as well as killing as many communists as possible.  The retrieval of a 16-year-old recently drafted into the People’s Army gave the defenders hope as he had no clue as to what unit he was in or what he was supposed to do.[i]
  35. 1956 Monday: The former 35th vice president of the United States (served January 20, 1949-to-January 20, 1953) Alben W. Barkley, died at age 78 in Lexington, Virginia, on this date.  A Democrat, he served under President Harry S. Truman.

  37. 1961 Sunday: Willie Mays of the San Francisco Giants hits four homeruns in one game.   Meanwhile, communist thug dictator, Fidel Castro, receives the ‘Lenin Peace Prize’ for his work to bring about ‘peace.’  What a load of garbage.

  61. 2008 Wednesday: The Federal Reserve slashes interest rates by one-quarter percent to 2-percent.  Not good for investors and people with retirement plans.
  62. 2009 Thursday: Chrysler files for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.  Meanwhile, thanks to the ongoing H1N1 swine flu pandemic from communist China, Mexican President Felipe Calderon issues a partial economic shutdown for five days; you know- to flatten the curve.  Elsewhere, the United Kingdom says ‘enough to combat operations in the Iraq War and that it will begin pulling its combat troops out and bring them home.  Wish ours came home, too.
  63. 2010 Friday: The Deepwater Horizon oil spill reaches the Louisiana coast; weather officials predict that harsh weather will impede cleanup efforts.  Governor Bobby Jindal, Republican, had been begging for aid from the Obama administration but none was forthcoming until the first black waves began rolling across the beach.  By then, it was too late, fisheries destroyed, shrimp and crab-catcher fleets ruined for years to come.  Why?  Many suspect it’s because the Obama-Biden administration sought to vilify oil and natural gas so the American people would condemn fossil fuels.  Thankfully, it didn’t work.
  64. 2011 Saturday: As the Libyan civil war continues to rage, Libyan leader Moammar Gaddafi says he is ‘willing to enter into a ceasefire but BOTH sides must agree to it, not just his side.’  Sadly for the Libyan leader, his youngest son, Saif al-Arab Gaddafi and three of his children are killed in a NATO airstrike.  How did we end up fighting in this war?
  65. 2012 Monday: After Chen Guangcheng flees house arrest, U.S. President Barack Obama refuses to comment on the blind Chinese dissident who—according to reports—went to the U.S. embassy.  Meanwhile, One World Trade Center became the tallest structure in New York when it surpassed the height of the Empire State Building.
  66. 2013 Tuesday: Apple, Inc. initiates the largest-ever non-bank bond offering at $17 billion.  Elsewhere, jihadists do what they do best and that is, they carry out a bombing on an unsuspecting population.  Today, in Damascus, Syria, they set off a bomb that blows 13 people to kingdom come while living many more wishing they had gone with them.  Horrible flipping people.
  67. 2014 Wednesday: In Clarkston, Washington, Larry Ramos—guitarist/vocalist with the Association[iii]—lost his battle with skin cancer on this date; he was 72 years-old.  Meanwhile, the Yemeni army has lost at least 30 people in ongoing battles with al-Qaida thugs.   Elsewhere, the Sultan of Brunei has announced the new institution of laws that would make Islamic law supreme what with floggings, amputations, and stoning of guilty folks.  We won’t be visiting there anytime soon.
  68. 2015 Thursday: U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders, I-Vermont, announces his bid to seek the Democratic Party’s 2016 presidential nomination.  Elsewhere, following the seizure of a Danish-owned tanker by the Iranians, the U.S. Navy says it will escort American-flagged ships through the Strait of Hormuz to prevent further such criminal actions.
  69. 2016 Saturday: The Italian coast guard is plying the waters off the coast of Libya.  A migrant raft jam-packed with Muslim refugees began floundering with the loss of at least 70 people and only 26 or 27 people rescued.  Elsewhere, a heatwave in India continues claiming lives with 300 people so far succumbing to record temperatures.  If only these poor people had air-conditioning; then again, environmentalists HATE air-conditioning, believing it WRECKS the environment.  Dumb asses.
  70. 2017 Sunday: At a pool party in San Diego, California, a pool party goes up in smoke as a shooter kills one person outright, wounds another seven and then is shot and killed by the police.  Elsewhere, budget negotiators in Congress come to a bipartisan agreement on the budget for FY 2017.  The deal will fund the federal government through September 30 while the current budget expires on May 05.
  71. 2018 Monday: Marvel’s “Avengers: Infinity War” sets new opening weekend box office record raking in $250 million in the United States and another $630 million around the planet.  Meanwhile, in Baghdad, the criminal court sentences a load of women from several different countries to life in prison for purportedly belonging to ISIS.  The tally included 19 Russians, six Azerbaijani, and four Tajikistani women.  Life is going to be rough for them.
  72. 2019 Tuesday: Japan’s Emperor Akihito announces he is stepping down at an abdication ceremony in Tokyo, effective the following day.  Naruhito will be the new emperor.   Elsewhere, Canada expresses its outrage over the second of its citizens condemned to death in the People’s Republic of China this year.  Fan Wei received the sentence for his supposed production of and transportation of methamphetamine.  Prime Minister Justin Trudeau expresses his anger while pleading for clemency.
  73. 2020 Thursday: Thanks to the Kung Flu trashing the United States, another 3.6 million unemployment claims pushes total unemployment numbers for Americans over 30 million.  AND the Chinese find offense in the growing world anger directed towards them!  Millions of people around the world now believe that COVID-19 was something deliberately released onto the world following Beijing being forced to sign the new U.S.-China Trade Accord.  We shall see.  Current numbers for the Wuhan Virus Crisis Pandemic for the world rest at 3,249,022 confirmed cases what with 230,804 confirmed deaths but 1,006,112 confirmed recoveries.  Meanwhile, in the United States, confirmed cases rest at 1,079,780, confirmed deaths stand at 62,603 but confirmed recoveries are 127,950.  Additionally, more states are beginning to release restrictions and businesses are beginning to reopen.  However, in California, Gov. Gavin Newsom issues a new order today in which all beaches along the state’s enormous coastline are now closed.   (Gavin, if you close the beaches, we will go to the mountains, the lakes, the forests, even the deserts to disobey your authoritarian orders).  In addition to this, we now know that Gov. Newsom is spending $1 billion in communist China to purchase (shoddy) PPE items for the state.  F**king China lover.
  74. 2021 Friday:  you know the drill…

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

We said it before and we’ll say it again: Michael Schenker is always on a musical quest much like Carlos Santana and he always puts together good groups with which to get his musical talents across to his millions of fans.  “Resurrection” came out under the moniker “Michael Schenker Fest” on July 04, 2019.  The band featured an amalgam of his musical friends including vocalist Graham Bonnet, Gary Barden, Robin McAuley, and Doogie White plus his usual rhythm section adding the power punch that this mad axman requires to light stages ablaze and melt the minds of his beloved fans.  We hope you will seek this one out and consider adding it to your ever-growing collection; you will be glad you did.

  55. 2008 Saturday: Liberals are creaming their pants around the world as today is EARTH HOUR, a time in which, slobbering liberals encourage everyone to go without ALL nonessential power between the hour of 8-9:00 P.M. local time.  This will show those dastardly energy-guzzling scumbags like Senator John F. Kerry, D-MA.
  56. 2009 Sunday: At a nursing home in Carthage, North Carolina, a POS gunman goes on a rampage killing at least 8 people and wounding another 3.  Democrats immediately begin screaming for ‘GUN CONTROL!  CONFISCATE ALL GUNS!  DESTROY THE NRA!’  To be expected, every time some schmuck uses a gun for evil.
  57. 2010 Monday: At least 38 people die and 60 suffer injuries when two female suicide bombers carry out two separate terrorist attacks at Moscow Metro stations Lubyana and Park Kultury.   Elsewhere, in Myanmar, Aung San Suu Kyi and her political movement, the National League for Democracy, announces that it will boycott the upcoming elections because of the corruption of their government.
  58. 2011 Tuesday: James Bullard, president of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis calls for the Federal Reserve to limit its purchase of U.S. Treasuries because they ‘feed the fire’ of inflation.  Meanwhile, from one end of the Near and Middle East to the other, people are running amok during the ‘Arab Spring.’  Syrian President Bashar al-Assad is assuming control of the entire government after two weeks of violent protests.
  59. 2012 Thursday: In New Delhi, India, leaders of Brazil, Russia, China, South Africa, and India meet for the 2012 BRICS summit.  Elsewhere, in San Pedro Sula prison in Honduras, inmates run amok and at least 13 people are slain in the violence.
  60. 2013 Friday:  New research on the Shroud of Turin supports that it may been used as Jesus Christ’s burial cloth; researchers used mechanical and thermal measurements to date the shroud between 300 BC and 400 AD.  Elsewhere, in Peshawar, Pakistan, a vehicle bomb explodes near the U.S. Embassy, killing 10 people outright and injuring at least another 35-40 people.
  61. 2014 Saturday:  Russia makes assurances that the country will not invade Ukraine in its efforts to resolve the dispute over its annexation of Crimea.  Of course, the Russians have already gobbled up the Crimea and will soon be waging undeclared war in eastern Ukraine on behalf of ‘Russian separatists’ there.
  62. 2015 Sunday: To combat the ISIS thugs, Egyptian President Fattah al-Sisi announces that moderate Arab states will begin allowing their militaries to work with one another since Barack Obama cut off aid to Egypt, Jordan, and others.  Saudi Arabia has already been battling Iranian-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen.   Meanwhile, Pakistan is sending a Boeing 747 to evacuate its diplomats and civilians out of that crumbling country.
  63. 2016 Tuesday: Due to increasing strife and chaos along the southern border of Turkey with Iraq, the U.S. State Department as well as the Pentagon begin ordering all diplomatic and military personnel to evacuate.  ISIS is continuing to run amok in Syria butchering and killing people all over the place so in order to avoid an international incident, it’s time to begin withdrawing U.S. personnel.  We’d hate to go to war in Syria, right (or have we already been fighting there)?  Elsewhere, Breitbart News reports that Donald Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski is charged with battery for allegedly having pushed their reporter, Michelle Fields, away from his candidate on March 08.  What a load of crap.
  64. 2017 Wednesday: Britain filed for divorce from the European Union as Prime Minister Theresa May sent a six-page letter to EU Council President Donald Tusk.  Meanwhile, Ivanka Trump assumes a position as an unpaid advisor to her father, President Donald J. Trump.   Elsewhere, jihadists continue running amok in Iraq as a suicide bomber targets a police roadblock.  The subsequent explosion kills 15 people outright and injures at least another 40 poor souls.
  65. 2018 Thursday: Because the U.S. Department of Homeland Security failed to notify screened asylum seekers that their one-year time frame for requesting asylum was going to end, thus prompting the illegals to hurry up with their claims, Judge Ricardo S. Martinez orders the DHS to give the ‘asylum seekers’ another year to file their applications and also orders the DHS to fix their rules.   Meanwhile, the 2018 Major League Baseball season gets underway.
  66. 2019 Friday: Democratic politician Lucy Flores accuses former vice president and presidential candidate Joseph R. Biden of an ‘inappropriate kiss.’  Oh, well; it’s not the first time.   Elsewhere, a judge in the Cayman Islands, a judge throws out a law stipulating that marriage is between one man and one woman and thus legalizes with the stroke of a pen gay marriage.  And another one bites the dust.
  67. 2020 Sunday: Thanks to the Wuhan Flu leaving China and enveloping the world, the number of confirmed global cases sits at 718,685 what with 33,881 confirmed deaths from the virus.  Meanwhile, in the United States, we know of 139,675 cases with at least 2,436 deaths.  China continues trying to alleviate itself of the sole responsibility as creators of this horrendous virus but everyone knows the communists sitting pretty in Beijing are the culprits and that when the crisis passes, they will be held to account for it.  Shame on them: your plan to take out President Trump by ruining the global economy is a complete failure.
  68. 2021 Monday: You know the drill- stick around and find out the news of the day…

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

The Michael Schenker Group released a 4-CD retrospective live album featuring three complete shows recorded in the early 1980s when he had just formed his solo band. “The Mad Axman Live” came out on October 13, 2007.  Joining the legendary German guitarist are well-known and much beloved members of his solo band: vocalist Gary Barden, Chris Glen (bass), Andy Nye and Paul Raymond (keyboards), and Ted McKenna and Cozy Powell (drums).  Always a wild rocker, Schenker puts on one hell of a great show and these three shows encapsulated on four discs- albeit five-star bootleg quality- are well worth whatever price eBay might be charging for it, which at the time of this writing was running around $80.00.  We hope you will seek this one out because the man and his band have been with us for a long, long time.  You will enjoy this album so please, seek it out wherever you shop for the best in rock music- you can thank us later.

ENDNOTES:

[i] The young United States should have taken ALL of Mexico down through the Central American countries to where the southern end of Panama meets the northern end of Colombia.  Had we done that, we would have solved the issue of illegal immigration.  We should have also taken Cuba in 1898 and kept her just as we should have gone back and taken Canada.  What a glorious nation we would have, one now being overrun with Third World illegal aliens.

[ii] On Wednesday, 14-June-2017, we began presenting the music of the Guess Who and of its individual members- including Bachman-Turner Overdrive, Randy Bachman, Burton Cummings, and Bravebelt..  The entire discography ran from the above date through Sunday, 01-October-2017.  We hope you will check them out.

[iii] We began promoting the music of both the Beatles and the band’s individual components on Friday, 04-November-2016 through Sunday, 11-June-2018.  Besides the Beatles, we also promoted the music of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, and George Harrison as well as the Traveling Wilburys.

79. TODAY IN HISTORY—SATURDAY, MARCH 20, 2021

GG. 1954 Saturday: at the Battle of Dien Bien Phu, General Giap of the People’s Liberation Army has his sights set on drawing closer to the main French base but first, his troops would have to grab control of No Man’s Land which meant more trenches had to be dug to approach the various Huguettes west of the main airstrip. The French are still able to get some daredevil pilots to fly in, do quick drops and take some wounded out so the People’s Army has to stop this by taking control of the strip as best they can.

  49. 2003 Thursday: The United States, Great Britain, Australia, and Poland invade Iraq sans United Nations sanctions.  Airstrikes have already been crisscrossing the country and it appears that the Iraqis are unprepared to contend with this assault.  Little did the Coalition troops know that Saddam Hussein had a plan, a good plan.  Government forces disappear into the shadows and an insurrection fueled by religious extremism will blossom in it’s place.  That won’t happen for several months however…
  50. 2004 Saturday:  In Taiwan, despite being shot in the stomach by an unknown assailant, President Chen Shui-bian wins another term as president.  The results are close so his opponent decries the election as ‘unfair’ but the results hold firm.   Meanwhile, in the United States, millions of people in this country and across the world take to the streets protesting the first anniversary of the war in Iraq.  It started out well and everyone in Congress- including the Democrats- were onboard but as soon as it went south, everyone was all over President George W. 54. 2008 Thursday: The communist Chinese are having a hell of time trying to quell the rising unrest in Tibet.  Well, go figure- the Chi-Coms are interlopers and Tibet is NOT their country yet they claim it, persecute their people, and are searching for the Dalai Lama as though he is a common criminal.   The Dalai Lama offers to meet with the Chi-Coms but in response they load up hundreds of military vehicles loaded with soldiers to crush the INDEPENDENCE MOVEMENT.

  58. 2012 Tuesday: Violence continues to rage across Iraq with 50 people killed and another 240 plus injured as terrorists conduct suicide bombings, shootings, kidnappings, and other violence.  At least 10 cities are experiencing a wave of violence.  Elsewhere, Pope Benedict XVI appoints three new bishops for the United States- one in Baltimore, Maryland, the second in Tallahassee-Pensacola, Florida, and the third in Cheap Trick’s[v] home, Rockford, Illinois.
  59. 2013 Wednesday: Zillur Rahman, age 84, the president of Bangladesh, dies in office after a prolonged illness at a hospital in Singapore; the government declared three days of mourning.  Meanwhile, following the U.S. State Department’s comments on next month’s Venezuelan elections, Caracas cuts off a back-channel line of communications with Washington, D.C.  The Venezuelans would NEVER dream of holding corrupt or crooked elections not with Smartmatic Software and allegedly Dominion Voting Systems machines, allegedly.
  60. 2014 Thursday: Rising Asian demand for Champagne will represent increasing export growth, with Japan currently the fourth-largest export market after the U.K., the U.S. and Germany.   Meanwhile, the world is growing increasingly upset with the Russian occupation and annexation of the Crimea but there is nothing anyone will do to stop Vladimir Putin’s road to conquest.  Next, and even more perplexing, U.S. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-NV, orders an investigation into HOW and even more important WHY the CIA ‘breached’ the U.S. Senate’s Select Committee on Intelligence’s computers.[vi]
  61. 2015 Friday: The creator of “Berry’s World,” cartoonist Jim Berry, dies at age 83.  Meanwhile, former Liberal Prime Minister of Australia Malcolm Fraser (served 1975-83) dies at age 84.  Elsewhere, ISIS releases video of the executions of three Kurdish peshmerga soldiers and announces with glee that ‘there are going to be more from where those came.’  Savage sons of bitches, we need to radiate all of them.
  62. 2016 Sunday: President Barack Hussein Obama and his family arrive in Cuba for a three-day visit.  He was the first U.S. president to visit the island nation since 1928.  His visit, however, was the first by any American president since the island went communist in the 1950s so thank you, Mr. Obama, for being such a pro-Castro POS.
  63. 2017 Monday: The American psychotherapist who coined the term ‘homophobia’ dies at the age of 87.  We do not know if Dr. George Weinberg was himself a homosexual but he’s the one who crafted the term.  Meanwhile, confirmation hearings for Judge Neil Gorsuch to fill the seat of late Justice Antonin Scalia commence today.  Of course, liberals are hopping mad over the fact that their guy, Merrick Garland, never had a hearing but it is what it is.  Elsewhere, fired FBI Director James Comey is going to testify before the House Intelligence Committee today.
  64. 2018 Tuesday: Actress Cynthia Nixon from “Sex in the City” announces she will run for New York governor.  She would go down in flames to the dimwit Andrew Cuomo.  Meanwhile, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman meets with President Donald J. Elsewhere, Disney forks out $71.3 billion to buy 21st Century Fox and all its individual parts.  Next, U.S. District Court Judge Rudolph Contreras issues a ruling that HALTS oil and natural gas drilling in Wyoming.  The reason: climate change.
  66. 2020 Friday: The Chinese Virus is sweeping across the world.  At first, health authorities- especially in the United States and Europe- were very dismissive of the Wuhan Flu whereas now, businesses are closing and a two-week mandatory order in the U.S. is enacted.  “Two weeks to flatten the curve and then life can return to normal” is the mantra.  People like the AMAZING Dr. Tony Fauci told us early on that masks were not important whereas now, everyone must wear them if they wish to journey out to the doctor or to big box stores.  Toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex and napkins have become a thing of the past.  The shelves of stores are being stripped clean with only foodstuffs people don’t like clinging to the shelves.
  67. 2021 Saturday: DAY 60 of the Biden Regime- stick around and find out what the fossilized Biden Regime, the Fake News Media, and the Chi-Coms are up to today- everyone knows it’s going to be good…

BEVERLY CARRICK ORIGINAL ARTWORK OF THE DAY:

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

Michael Schenker- ever the musical gypsy- recorded his first album of covers, “Heavy Hitters,” which hit music store shelves on July 12, 2005.  Various musicians joined him for a handpicked set of 10 tunes ranging from Mountain to Cream to Black Sabbath to Pink Floyd as well as several other favorites.  This album offers the artist in a new realm of interpreting the musical works of other ‘heavy hitters,’ something that aroused his fans and brought in new ones, as well.  We hope you will visit whatever site it is you do when you seek out the best in rock music and pick it up- you will be extremely glad you did.  Enjoy.

ENDNOTES:

[i] We hope to share the music of the Paul Butterfield Blues Band as well as Al Kooper sometime in the next 10-15 years.  We hope you will remain with us as loyal readers.

[ii] We promoted the music of Pacific Gas & Electric beginning on Thursday, 12-January-2012 through Sunday, 15-January-2012.  Although this band was not around for more than 3-4 years, they rocked their socks off which is why we hope you will check them out and consider adding them to your collection.

[iii] We hope to present the music of the Nice as well as Emerson, Lake & Palmer at some point within the next five years.  Please remain posted for the day that we do.

[iv] We began promoting the music of both the Beatles and the band’s individual components on Friday, 04-November-2016 through Sunday, 11-June-2018.  Besides the Beatles, we also promoted the music of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, and George Harrison as well as the Traveling Wilburys.

[v] We are thinking that we are going to do the music of Cheap Trick very, very soon.

[vi] Obviously, this is President Barack Obama’s thug’s handiwork, CIA Director John Brennan.  Obama is spying on his own flipping people.

Trump’s ‘Remain in Mexico’ order.  (A year later, Joe Biden would throw the southern border WIDE OPEN!)
  61. 2021 Sunday: Even though it’s Sunday, we all know communism NEVER sleeps so stick around on Day 40 of the Biden Regime to see what this stumbling, bumbling, rumbling old fool is up to today in service of his Chi-Com masters calling the shots from Beijing.  We know you want to find out as much as we do…

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

UFO released a live album on September 21, 1998, featuring four-fifths of the classic lineup: Phil Mogg (vocals), Michael Schenker (guitars), Pete Way (bass), Paul Raymond (keyboards/rhythm guitar), and Simon Wright (drums).  The album, “Werewolves of London,” is a superb performance of the band’s greatest tunes.  While some fans blast the band for performing the same set they have been performing for decades, we say, “WTF, the music is as timeless as the Summer of Love, of Woodstock, and of Altamont, what the heck more does one need other than a few bucks, Amazon.com, and Amazon Prime to get it, uh, by tomorrow?  Please, seek it out now and add it to your collection, you will be glad you did- we guarantee it.

ENDNOTES:

[i] “Native Son” by Richard Wright is a book every American should read.

[ii] We shared the music of the Stones beginning Tuesday, 22-March-2016 through Sunday, 28-August-2016.  This included the members’ solo projects.  We sure as heck hope you check out the Rolling Stones, Mick Jagger, Brian Jones, Keith Richard, Charlie Watts, Bill Wyman, and Mick Taylor.  Ronnie Wood you can find during the presentation of the Faces.  Sadly, we should have been clairvoyant and presented the music of Marianne Faithful, too.  Perhaps one day we will.

[iii] We are not sure as to when we will begin promoting the music of Electric Light Orchestra but we hope to do it soon just as we hope to do the music of Pink Floyd, Supertramp, Jethro Tull, and some other famous British rock bands.  Please remain vigilant for the day when we do.  We thank you.

[iv] Not sure as to when we will get around to doing the music of Uriah Heep but we hope to do it at the same time we promote the music of Hawkwind.  We hope you will remain alert as to the day that we do.

[v] We look forward to doing the music of one of the great British invasion bands, the Dave Clark Five, at some point in the next 2-3 years.  Stick around for the day we do- you will be glad you did.

[vi] Many civilized Americans believe we need to construct a Devil’s Island of sorts and leave the pedophiles to contend with one another.  Others believe that as the liberal Democrats continue searching for new sources of cash infusions for their campaigns, they will try to legalize this blasphemous behavior.  Shame.

Were it not for President Donald J. Trump average Americans- outside the Washington Beltway- would not have known how big the Chi-Com threat actually is

The deeper you dig, the more you see, and it’s clear they could not have chosen a better candidate to win the White House than Joe Biden. Come on, man, they can’t eat our lunches whereas now, seemingly they can. When Joe goes down (not IF) folks, they have a stooge who will gladly do their bidding: the former senator from the Golden State. In exchange for being the first female to be the president of the United States, she will do whatever is required of her and that means, permit deeper infiltration of the U.S.

WINTER SESSION 2021

BLOG POST #3,764 AT THE AICP-END

DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2022: 627

The world is indebted to President Donald J. Trump (well, the Free World that is…)

Los Angeles, CA 93064, 02-19-2021 Friday:  Sadly, I suspect my entire week is going to lambasted with limited numbers because to tell the truth about transgenderism and its effect on girls and women’s sports is to suffer banishment just as telling the world the truth about communist China also can earn one a brief suspension until one resumes talking about something else the controllers of the Internet and of free speech consider ‘acceptable,’ at least for now, like how to make cherry-chip cupcakes.[i]

The biggest mistake our country made was endeavoring to be friends with communist China, thinking that because they were integrated into the wider world, they would loosen control of their society and become more like us than us like them.  This is precisely the conundrum in which, the United States and the Free World (or what’s left of it) finds itself in- being overrun by a technologically superior power that has infiltrated virtually element of every country such as ours.

We learned this past Monday that the communist Chinese have somehow managed to get secret microchips into U.S. and- we would imagine- the rest of the world’s computers so that they can spy on us and most likely on everyone else, too.  It’s what they do and if Cold War warriors such as John Fitzgerald Kennedy, Richard M. Nixon, and Ronald Wilson Reagan were still alive, they would be shocked by what those who followed have done to put our country in grave danger.[ii]

President Trump was onto something when he began doing battle with the Chi-Coms, almost from day one just as he was when he signed executive orders to prevent Beijing and other nations hostile to our and our allies’ interests supplying and/or installing equipment into America’s power grid- like Huawei.  Likewise, he was on target when he went after TikTok which in my view is perhaps one of the greatest infiltration tools ever created by any government with which to spy on its users.

Beijing certainly is not stupid.  They recognize the weaknesses America’s young people offer them, a need for facetime at all hours of the day and night.  They recognize that America’s young people do not begin the maturation process until some point in their late thirties or early forties and are a goldmine of information for the Ministry of State Security in Beijing.[iii]

They also offer the Chinese intelligence-gathering networks a vast goldmine of potential, future blackmail opportunities because of all the stupid things young people willingly post online such as nude photos, racist comments, unfettered hate speech, and a vast treasure trove of personal information that Beijing can milk at a later date.[iv]

Donald Trump tried to stop all of this.  He bloodied Beijing’s nose time after time.  He forced them to play straight on trade, on intellectual property theft, and on espionage and spying.  Because of Donald Trump, we learned just how deep Chi-Com intrusion into the United States goes.  They are into practically every aspect of our society from government to corporations to education and technology research and development.

It’s insidious how interwoven Beijing’s interests are with ours so they had to do something with Donald Trump and man, did they.  They managed to persuade various state governors and secretaries of state to throw the presidential election last year to a candidate who has always been pro-China and has made no bones about it: Joe Biden.

They laid the groundwork by infecting the world with a global catastrophe which allowed a horrible un-electable candidate to lurk in the bowels of his basement.  The Chi-Vi also permitted them to terrify average ordinary Americans into believing it was better to vote by mail then it was to vote in person.[v]

Friends, this is the ultimate selling-out of the United States, the nation we love, revere, and want to see continue prospering.   Most of Joe Biden’s picks for sensitive positions in the government have deep ties to communist China.  We thought former CIA Director John Brennan was bad, what we’re getting now is far, far worse.

I will see you tomorrow.  Much to discuss then.

“Were it not for President Donald J. Trump average Americans- outside the Washington Beltway- would not have known how big the Chi-Com threat actually is” by Chef Elmer K. Hootenstein, CWC-ACF

Friday, February 19, 2021:

ENDNOTES:

[i] Thanks to the Chi-Coms giving us the Panda Pandemic 2020-2021, everyone has redoubled talking about food, baking, and sourdough bread baking instead of asking WHY and HOW we have arrived at the point in which, we have.  What has befallen us did not happen overnight; no, it’s been ongoing for a long, long time now.

[ii] None of these three presidents would ever have permitted the Chi-Coms to get their hooks into us the way later administrations have.  Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and Barack Obama have sold our country out to the highest bidder which in this case is…wait for it…Beijing.

[iii] The Chi-Coms are fast-learners.  I am sure they recognized the vast ocean of information and intel obsession with social media by the world’s youth offers them.  Where else can one find hundreds of millions of ‘sources’ who willingly spill their guts on everything from who and where they are to what they’re doing on any given day.  It truly is perverse.

[iv] He who controls or has access to the world’s server farms has access to the information flowing through them.  I mean, what do you think Hillary Clinton’s private server in Chappaqua was up to?  It was funneling information to the highest bidder.

[v] We must give credit where credit is due: this global conspiracy- one my colleagues have pointed out- was ingenious.  These people pulled off the “Crime of the Century,” by infecting the world, employing corruptible voting systems from Canada, Smartmatic software from Hugo Chavez’s Venezuela, and an army of low-ranking Trump haters to pull off this extraordinary crime.  However, I do not believe it’s going to work because as we discuss this, outrage continues to grow over this monumental travesty of toppling our electoral system.  We know the Democrats were NEVER going to defeat Trump nor were they going to win the Senate seats in Georgia or prevent John James in Michigan from winning.  Thus, they have to create a scheme so bold, so outrageous, that it would defeat the greatest president the country had ever seen and replace it with a facsimile of someone who can’t even speak intelligently on any given day.

  48. 2020 Thursday: In the morning, a disheveled and highly incoherent Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-CA, rambled on about how she was going to send the ‘impeachment articles’ to the Senate when she ‘damned well pleased.’  It is becoming clearer and clearer to all non-senile onlookers that the Speaker has little to no clue as to where she is or what she is saying.  Even Senate Democrats- like Sen. Dianne Feinstein and Sen. Joe Manchin are saying ‘put up or shut up.’  Meanwhile, in Iran, it now seems likely that a Ukrainian jetliner that went down around the same time the IRG was shooting its missile ‘barrage’ in the direction of Iraq was shot down by the Russian-built Iranian air defenses.  Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau basically admitted as much seeing as how 63 of the 179 aboard were his citizens.  What are you going to do it, Mr. Prime Minister?  Most likely, NOTHING.
  49. 2021 Saturday: Today is Wildcard Weekend in the NFL in our expanded playoff format: (1) Indianapolis Colts, 24 (11-6) @ Buffalo Bills. 27 (14-3) (2) Los Angeles Rams, 30 (11-6) @ Seattle Seahawks, 20 (12-5) and (3) Tampa Bay (11-5) @ Washington Redskins (7-9). Note- it’s time for the Seahawks to fire Coach Pete Carroll.  He’s a bum.  Also stick around for tonight’s Super Lotto and Powerball drawings.
  50. 2021 Saturday A: BIG TECH bans the new social media app Parler over claims it does not moderate its site for ‘unacceptable content.’  Folks, when BIG TECH crippled Alex Jones and Infowars, everyone should have woken up and taken note.  This is the United States of America, NOT the People’s Republic of China- we have freedom of speech rights here.  Period.  Elsewhere, “America’s Mayor” Rudy Giuliani urges President Trump to declassify ALL records on the ‘Russian collusion scandal’ and on ‘Pro-China Joe’ Biden’s ties to the Chi-Coms.  We also want to see the UFO files, too, Mr. President.  Meanwhile, an incoming congresswoman from Illinois finds herself in ‘hot water’ for having made comments tying Democrats to Nazis.  Then, ‘Pro-China Joe’ Biden begins blasting the GOP by tying them…guess what: Nazis.  It never ends.
  51. 2021 Saturday B: Washington, D.C. police are investigating a suspicious package found near the Capitol today.  Antifa left a bomb, perhaps?  You never know.  Meanwhile, Richard Barnett- the man who participating in storming the Capitol Building this past Wednesday and who first seated himself at Pelosi’s desk and then carried off her podium, turned himself into federal agents today.  Dimwit.  Elsewhere, President Donald J. Trump- facing a second impeachment- confirms he won’t attend the inauguration of ‘Pro-China Joe’ Biden on January 20.  This will make the 45th president the fourth president- following John Adams, John Quincy Adams, and Andrew Johnson- not to attend the inauguration of his successor.  Why should he?  It is clear the presidential election was a fraud.  ‘Pro-China Joe’ Biden did not beat President Trump by an Electoral College vote of 306-232 nor did he win the votes of 80 million Americans.  Period.  Speaking of President Trump, noted liberal lawyer Alan Dershowitz says that ‘Trump did nothing wrong in his speech this past Wednesday.’  Perhaps he will defend him at his second impeachment trial?
  52. 2021 Saturday C: Speaking of the mob violence at the Capitol this past Wednesday, engineered by Antifa and Black Lives Matter human fecal matter, the Department of Justice says there are NO charges against President Trump for ‘incitement of violence.’  What we saw on Wednesday was a well-orchestrated false flag operation carried off by Antifa and BLM.  We must give credit where credit is due and they did a hell of a job of it.  Elsewhere, President Donald Trump hints at the creation of a new social media platform.  Mr. President, you will need to create your own ‘Google,’ too, because there is NO freedom of speech if one does not control the servers upon which the platform exists.  Speaking of Twitter, Rudy Giuliani basically has labeled them a ‘fascist operation.’  In the same vein, Trump ally, Jason Miller, says, ‘if you don’t think they’re coming for you, you’re mistaken.’   Finally, 2020 was a bad year for the news media what with the loss of 30,000 or more jobs in the fake news industry.
  53. 2021 Saturday D: The Centers for Disease Control announce that 59-percent of all COVID-19 cases are caused by asymptomatic spread.   Meanwhile, a study shows coronavirus immunity lasts up to 8 months in 90-percent of patients.
  54. 2021 Saturday E: COVID-19 Daily Update:  Here are the statistics for the planet as a whole: 89,516,439 confirmed cases, +734,302, 1,924,004, confirmed deaths, +12,908, and 49,669,429 confirmed recoveries, +307,155.  Next, here are the stats for the United States: 22,331,368 confirmed cases, up 281,916 from yesterday’s reporting, 375,039 confirmed deaths, UP 3,574, and 9,827,904 confirmed recoveries, UP 42,393.
  55. 2021 Saturday F: Next, in the three states in which, the world-famous American Institute of Culinary Politics-the Elemental News of the Day employs chef-bloggers- California, Hawaii, and Washington- here are the stats, California first: 2,639,814 confirmed cases, 29,233 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Next here are the numbers for Hawaii: 23,143 confirmed cases, 307 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Finally, here are the stats for leftist-Marxist-socialist hellhole of Washington: 273,142 confirmed cases, 3,768 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Let us look at one other state: Nevada: currently, they have 246,309 confirmed cases, 3,450 confirmed deaths, but NO mention of confirmed recoveries.  Now that Mo has relocated to Israel, let’s look at the statistics there: 485,434 confirmed cases, 3,645 confirmed deaths, and 412,296 confirmed recoveries.
  56. 2021 Saturday G: Here are the results for tonight’s Super Lotto Draw #3524 with a jackpot of $10 million on the line: 03, 04, 17, 34, 39, and Mega 20.  Out of 118,277 winning tickets, the highest winners were EIGHT people who had FOUR plus the Mega for a prize of $2,687 apiece.  Next, here are the numbers for the Powerball Draw #810 with a BIG POT of $470 million up for grabs: 14, 26, 38, 45, 46, and Powerball 13.  Out of 280,550 winning tickets, the highest winners were FOUR people who had FOUR numbers plus the Powerball for a prize of $37,117 apiece.
  57. 2021 Saturday H: Friends, we encourage everyone to stick around today to discover whatever news arises that continues showing the stooges of Beijing- the Democratic Party- doing whatever it is they’re doing to tip our country into the camp of the Chi-Coms.  We cannot permit them to steal the country from we, the American people…then again, if we cannot beat them, we may have to join them! Hail China!

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

Some wag with assets to the vault of the J. Geils Band released a historic live show on May 10, 2017: “Homework: Live at the Fillmore East, New York July 27, 1971.”  This of course would be an early live show, earlier than “Full House Live,” one recorded at one of the world’s twin greatest rock venues, the legendary Fillmore East back in the day before morons like Andrew Cuomo ruined the state of a loser like Bill Di Blasio destroyed the city.  If anything, Di Blasio might have been at the show, stoned on cheap Mexican reefer and Boone’s Farm apple wine and with his hand in some guy’s pants.  Ah, well, we hope all of you seek this amazing album out wherever you shop for the finest in rock music- you will be so glad you did.

Should Democrats win on Nov. 3, the road ahead will immediately become dark, dreary, and dangerous as the populace will become dependent solely upon government for any and all largesse

The only way to quickly force a population into accepting a dictatorship is through removing their ability to have hope, hope that steady employment and three squares a day provides one and one’s family. Imagine that with an immediate ban on fossil fuels and a massive increase in the price of a gallon of gas or of heating oil and the mobility the American people enjoy will diminish in the blink of an eye.

FALL SESSION 2020

BLOG POST #3,645 AT THE AICP-END

11 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2020

Like it or not, IF Democrats win BIG on November 3, the changes will be almost instantaneous…

Bakersfield, CA 93304, 10-23-2020 Friday:  We have been discussing what the likely actions the Democrats will commence taking should the nation be so unfortunate as to lose the election on November 3, all of which are depressing.  We know the Dems envy the power dictators around the world possess- especially the Chi-Coms and, believe it or not, the Russians, their perennial favorite for bashing when it comes to President Donald J. Trump.

Before Russia ‘became Russia again,’ they were the Soviet Union, an evil entity with which, the Democrats were deeply in love.  Whenever we had a Republican president such as Richard M. Nixon, Ronald Reagan, and George H.W. Bush, the devious Dems dealt with them under the table in their attempt to undermine Republican-steered foreign policy.[i]  Now, the Russians are their bogeyman but that is a story for another day.

Many Americans have done very well under President Donald J. Trump.  Things we were led to believe were behind us in the rearview mirror such as rising wages, better benefits, careers instead of jobs, rising home ownership rates, new car purchases, vacations, and increased consumer spending within three years came roaring back.

Our standard of living increased and everything looked great when it came to the future, that is, before the Chi-Coms launched the Chi-Vi around the world with the express purpose of damaging the growing American economy.  Everyone else around the world was…wait for it…collateral damage- so much for participating in the Belts and Roads BS.[ii]

Much of what happened that returned America to the American people was because (1) President Donald J. Trump ended the Obamacare mandate, perhaps one of the biggest full-time employment killing political creations of all time.[iii]

Add to that (2) the president demanded the end of two regulations for every new one enacted and suddenly, struggling industries such as domestic oil, natural gas, and coal production and refining returned with a vengeance, something libs used to tell us ‘if we begin drilling again, it will take 10 years or more before we are able to enjoy it’ occurred within TWO years.[iv]

Next, (3) the president going after the other perennial friend of the Democratic Party- the Chi-Coms on trade, intellectual property theft, out-of-control spying in the U.S. and their sending us tons of fentanyl killing our less stable population members and one could easily see that what the last presidential administration told us was ‘impossible’ and you can easily determine for yourself how life under President Trump was improving for the better on a scale heretofore unimagined.[v]

Let us now imagine that “Pro-China Joe” Biden and his running mate, Kamala Harris, win the election on November 3.  Let us imagine they are able to resoundingly defeat President Trump and Vice President Mike Pence.  Let us imagine that various anti-Trumper entities within the Deep State move to displace Trump sooner than Inauguration Day, that they charge him with all manner of crimes and take him into custody before he can leave the United States for friendlier climes.

You know these people want to do this, that has been their goal from the very beginning, ever since humongous crowds chanted “LOCK HER UP” when they heard the name Hillary Clinton.  They have had it out for this guy since 2015 when he mentioned that SOME of the illegal aliens swamping our country were ‘rapists, thugs, and criminals.’  Oh, they hate that sort of speech because they love them some illegal aliens.  Always have and always will.

Alas, poor old Joe drops dead ahead of Inauguration Day (or shortly thereafter which will allow Commie Kamala to run for two terms atop of the term she will do for #46 and almost immediately, taxes will go up by $3-4 trillion, the Trump tax cuts and child credits will vanish, and the mandate to Obamacare will be slapped back onto health care policies.

The latter will slash hours back to 28 hours or less per week so employers do not have to provide health care to their employees because of it being costly once more.  Imagine how devastating that would be to our economy, almost overnight, when combined with the COVID-19 lockdowns they will reinstitute.  If government proclaims you must provide health care coverage to all employees no matter the number of hours worked and businesses will close for good.

Add to that increased restrictions due to the Chinese Virus and you will have an entire populace dependent upon government for everything, much like the population of North Korea is on whatever their government provides.  Lose the love of the government and you, sir, and you, madam, will become personas non grata, nothing, zip, zero, nada, zilch, you, and your loved ones.[vi]

All of this will occur in the blink of an eye because this time, the Democrats and the Democratic-Socialists are NEVER going to cede power again.[vii]

Please, rejoin me tomorrow and we will continue our discussion of what’s to come should the Democrats win on November 3.

The next album by Fleetwood Mac, “Tango in the Night,” (04-13-1987) commenced as a Lindsey Buckingham solo effort but morphed into a full-band release.  This album was the group’s second biggest seller, following the astounding global success of “Rumours,” but the pressure it placed atop the band’s guitarist caused him to throw in the towel and abandon the group shortly thereafter.  The album generated four massive hits and is an album worthy of ownership by YOU and EVERYONE you know.  We tend to favor Amazon.com but there are countless other venues where you can get music at phenomenal prices so go wither thou go…

FOOTNOTES:

[i] No one ever accused Democrats of violating the Logan Act but if you want textbook examples of what a violation of the act would be, look at how Teddy Kennedy, senator from Massachusetts, actively dealt with the Soviet Union as he tried to undermine the Reagan administration’s goal of taking down the Soviet Union.  Likewise, we had all manner of left-wing Democrats conspiring with the Sandinistas in Nicaragua, in Cuba with the Castro boys, and elsewhere around the world.  All of them should have been hit with violations of the Logan Act, tried, convicted, driven out of government and imprisoned.

[ii] Anyone who believes that the Wuhan Virus is somehow an aberration is crazy; no, the Chi-Coms allowed this bug to escape their Wuhan laboratories where it was engineered, expressly for this purpose, of destroying the world economy so the Chi-Coms would not be alone in their economic struggles, being on the losing end of the U.S.-Sino Trade War.  They had to even the playing field.

[iii] The removal of the Obamacare mandate immediately saw jobs and wages explode across the country as the biggest job-killer in recent times was the mandate.  Had John McCain not behaved like an envious prick- his service respected- and done the right thing to vote Obamacare into the dustbin of history, this thing would indeed be in the rearview mirror now.  McCain showed that he was little more than a prick.

[iv] This was the stock answer whenever someone on the right declared that we should return to drilling our own oil.  They would say, “if you start drilling oil NOW, it will take 10 years before you enjoy the fruits of increased production” which President Trump demonstrated was a load of crap.  We were energy independent within 2.5 years.  Two-and-a-half-years, people!

[v] I’m sorry, based on the export of fentanyl to our country, we should be in war with these slimy c**ksuckers because to me, this is an act of war.  As my colleagues have pointed out, what the Chi-Coms are doing to us is akin to what the Brits used to do to the Chinese, waging Opium Wars in which, the Chinese would lose and foreign powers would gobble up more of their territory.

[vi] Step out of line in North Korea and you are f**ked.  Even staying in line, one can still be f**ked.  Not good, folks, not good, and that is precisely what the Democrats would do to us should they win everything on November 3.

[vii] Who would ever have believed that the future of our democracy would be so at risk as it now is?  Civil War might be the only way by which, we can eliminate the communists seeking to devour us.

  55. 2019 Thursday: Russia once again demonstrates its lack of ability- or its concern for human life- when a mysterious explosion at a nuclear weapons plant and testing facility in the sealed city of Sarov occurs, killing at least five scientists and wounding God knows how more. Come on, Vladimir, impose some safeguards on your people.
  56. 2020 Saturday: Here are today’s COVID-19 Wuhan Virus, aka the Xi Jinping Bat Flu, aka the Chinese Flu, the Kung Flu, you know, the Chinese “gift” that won’t stop giving, statistics for today: 19,425,393 confirmed cases, UP 264,587, 722,066 confirmed deaths, UP 5,983, and 11,773,122 confirmed recoveries, UP 167,998. In the United States, here are today’s numbers: 5,054,067 confirmed cases, UP 52,386 new cases, 163,575 confirmed deaths, UP 1,156, and 2,477,554 confirmed recoveries, UP 22,976.  Next, in the three states where the world-famous American Institute of Culinary Politics-The Elemental News of the Day employs chef-bloggers- California, Hawaii, and Washington- here are the stats, California first: 545,787 confirmed cases, 10,189 confirmed deaths, but thanks to Gov. Gavin Newsom being little more than a festering POS, NO mention of confirmed recoveries.  In Hawaii, here are the stats: 3,115 confirmed cases, 31 confirmed deaths, and 1,467 confirmed recoveries.  Finally, in the too-far-left-to-save-state-of-Washington, here are the stats: 61,587 confirmed cases, 1,672 confirmed deaths, and like California’s worthless governor, Gov. Jay Inslee won’t list the number of confirmed recoveries.  Let’s look at the numbers of another state we haven’t looked at lately, Ohio, the “Buckeye State,” one of the worst states for out-of-control liberal politics.  The number of cases in the state is 99,969 while the number of deaths is 3,668.  No mention of the number of confirmed recoveries.  Such a shame but the one thing we do know is that Governor Mike DeWine, a RINO, is little more than a hardcore political hack.
  57. 2020 Saturday A: Let’s look at the second-highest nation infected with the Wuhan Virus, Brazil: the South American nation has 3,012,412 cases of Xi Jinping’s gift to the world what with 100,477 deaths, and 2,068,394 recoveries.   India is the third highest nation infected with this dastardly, lab-engineered virus what with 2,152,020 confirmed cases, 43,453 confirmed deaths, and 1,479,804 confirmed recoveries.  Russia comes in fourth what with 882,347 confirmed cases, 14,854 confirmed deaths, and 690,207 confirmed recoveries.  Now, let’s look at the Chi-Coms, the place where this needless disaster began: they come in 30th among nations with 84,590 confirmed cases, 4,634 confirmed deaths, and 79,123 confirmed recoveries (although our sources in Hong Kong and Macau tell us they are 10-times higher than reported which sounds about right for the main communist hellhole on the planet.  Shame on them).
  58. 2020 Saturday B: Sadly, without any help from the Democrats, President Trump takes it upon himself to improve the lot of the American people, people whose lives have been thrown into freefall thanks to the Chinese Virus Crisis, aka the Xi Jinping Bat Flu, by signing an executive order that will do the following: (1) $400 in enhanced unemployment benefits throughout the remainder of the year; (2) A payroll ‘holiday’ tax that will cut payroll taxes for every American making under $100,000 per year; (3) A continued moratorium on evictions; and (4) deferring student loan repayments until next year. The president is asking the states to cover 25-percent of the costs while the federal government will cover the other 75-percent.  Democrats threaten to take him to court over these actions.  WHY?  They want bailouts for Blue States- like California- that is so far in the RED it risks imploding in upon itself because CalPERS needs billions of dollars to keep it solvent while Sacramento gives money and benefits- including free health care to ILLEGAL ALIENS.  Let California DIE.  We say this even though our blog site is based there.  It is time for change.
  59. 2020 Saturday C: The people of Beirut, Lebanon, continue protesting their government’s corruption in allowing their port to blow up on Tuesday thanks to more than 2,700 tons of ammonium nitrate stored in the port. Some even call for the lynching of Hezbollah boss, Hassan Nasrallah, a POS terrorist if one ever existed.  In some cases, police use live ammunition on the protesters as violence gets out of control.  Meanwhile, Portland, Oregon, sees yet another night of mayhem in the streets, its 70th but who’s counting, right) while Mayor Ted Wheeler scolds Antifa for misbehaving.  Folks do what the police in Beirut are doing, the moment you see some POS rioter raise his arm to throw an incendiary device, shoot them.  It works and has always worked in the past.  Has the United States lost its nerve?

Roger Hodgson released his next solo effort, a DVD- “Take the Long Way Home- Live in Montreal”- on June 10, 2007.  This effort features the artist on keyboards, guitars, and vocals with a horn player providing accompaniment.  We sometimes ponder WHY artists (or their record companies) release certain things and then end up with the conclusion that “it is what it is.”  One thing is for certain: IF you love this band in the way that we do, then you will want whatever material an artist releases which is why we consider ourselves ‘completists’ as should you if you have been with us since the founding of our world-famous (joking, of course) blog.  We thank you for evaluating our suggestions and opinions…

Ever notice how police violence on minorities always seems to occur where Democrats- NOT Republicans- hold power? Why is that?

In these BLUE areas, the Democrats point their corpulent fingers at Republicans, blaming the GOP for everything that is deficient, even though Republicans have had nothing to do with any of these areas in decades, they still blast the GOP, their fake news allies maintain the clamor, and their bought-and-paid-for black political leaders never do anything to improve life for their minority voters other than to seek them out at election time.

SPRING SESSION 2020

BLOG POST #3,516 AT THE AICP-END

143 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2020

America was built on the scarred backs of slaves but so was the rest of the New World; at least we got rid of the institution 155 years ago and fought a second civil war a century later for civil rights

Pumpkin Center, CA 93313, 06-16-2020 Tuesday: Good morning, friends. We are living in complex and arduous times, times in which, many of our younger people have holes or gaps in their education because their teachers have either left pertinent things out or have corrupted[i] them so as to mold and shape the future citizens of tomorrow. We hear about the evils of slavery, that it’s our founding sin, that racism and race relations have never improved, that whitey wants to continue lording things up over the nonwhite minorities that rapidly are becoming the majority. Yes, we had slaves, we did not begin with slaves; no, we brought indentured servants to work for 20 years after which, they could then achieve freedom, only most of them died before attaining it.

Racism is not systemic in this country. It was until the United States went to war with the Confederate States of America. The war was not initially fought over slavery; it was just as the war progressed and it became ever more so bloody that the nation’s sixteenth President Abraham Lincoln informed the South that if they did not cease and desist, the U.S. was going to free the slaves which is what we did. We bled the South dry and then did our best to heal and reunite the nation.

Only, we had to do it again, during the 1950s and the 1960s. Up until that point, racism was indeed systemic in the country. The South went with Jim Crow[ii], a way of keeping the blacks down, living in fear, voting Democrat. Democrats, by the way, were and still are the party of slavery, only their modern-day slaves are low-wage slaves,[iii] people from Mexico, Central America, East Africa, and other depressed and oppressed countries.

Racism was systemic in the North, too, but not in Republican[iv] areas. Cities and states long in the hands of Democrats like Illinois, New York, and California have maintained things in the styles in which, they have been rather than doing something to fix them. Look at Illinois, look at New York City, look at Atlanta, Georgia, look at Minnesota, look at Wisconsin, all of them are either BLUE states with/or corresponding BLUE cities where police brutality runs amok, minorities live in squalid conditions, and nothing ever improves.

As a white person, let me say this: every time race relations start improving, something comes along to shatter the progress and to throw us backward. Why is it after initial reporting- and we were among the very first to report this- about the bad blood between George Floyd and Derek Chauvin that suddenly no one but us is mentioning it?

Because if the public learns the truth, that Chauvin murdered Floyd because he hated the guy, that the taller black man intimidated the smaller white man, that Floyd always worked inside El Nuevo Rancho nightclub while Chauvin worked without, it will blow the entire scam out of the water.

I am not saying that former MPD Officer Derek Chauvin[v] is not a racist bigot because it sure sounds like he is. However, everyone has questioned WHAT could have made this murderous POS throw caution to the wind, keep his knee on Floyd’s neck, all the while people are filming him with their cellphones, and murder this man in broad daylight. Things like this usually occur away from the public view, not entirely in front of it.

Sadly, if what we hear and what we assume is the truth, no one will hear about it until the trial of Chauvin and his three fellow cops go occurs and then, it could be 2-3 years from now because the topic is such a hot, divisive one that it will take time for things to simmer down for a fair and impartial jury to be chosen. Hell, they might have to hold Chauvin’s trial in American Samoa, thanks to the press ginning things up as much as it has, something they always seem to do nowadays.

Join me tomorrow; we will continue.

FOOTNOTES:

[i] Look at this worthless piece of crap, Howard Zinn, ‘noted historian,’ a guy who hates the United States and presents history in such a way as to make our country and its people look like Satan was here at the founding. Look, of the 6-9 million Africans sold into slavery for the New World, 90-percent of them went to the Caribbean and to Central and South America while 10-percent went to North America. Mr. Zinn does not tell you this, he makes it out as though the United States is the ONLY nation built atop the scarred backs of slaves. Bullshit! Mexico freed its slaves in 1821, the United States in 1865, and Brazil in 1881. It was the times. Our Constitution had the necessary components for freeing the slaves in the Constitution via the amendment process. We freed them and Southern Democrats worked to keep them in bondage for another century until we won the battle for civil rights.

[ii] Jim Crow was a way in which, white Southerners maintained slavery in a form. They used fear, intimidation, and coercion via their militarized wing, the Ku Klux Klan, to keep blacks in line. From the time federal troops left the South to the 1960s, nearly 80-some years later, Southern Democrats ruled their minorities via fear. The prison system also was corrupt, one in which, blacks could go to prison for decades, slave away on chain gangs, it took a brave President John F. Kennedy- a Democrat, by the way- to get the ball rolling and then Lyndon Baines Johnson and Richard M. Nixon- another Democrat and a Republican- to get things done. Note: Kennedy and Johnson were two unique men- Kennedy believed in civil rights whereas Johnson mirrored Franklin Delano Roosevelt and saw the civil rights struggle as a way of increasing Democratic Party votes.

[iii] The Democratic Party cannot survive without slaves. It matters not if they are the kind you can whip or the kind you can keep living in poverty, with little money, and if they complain, get them deported. Democrats NEED downtrodden masses who believe the Dems will indeed improve their lots in life which they never do because if they did, these newly minted members of the middle class would NO longer vote for Democrats.

[iv] The only things for which Republicans have racism on their hands is that they seldom try to enter black or Latino areas, awaiting blacks and Latinos to come to them. Well, if you fail to offer invitations, people will NEVER come. It is high time for the GOP to launch drives into every minority community to tell them what they have to offer them. It’s not going to be living in perpetual wage bondage; no, it will be about grasping life by the horns and doing everything possible to work one’s way UP.

[v] There are many sites with stories that show Derek Chauvin had a racist streak which would not be surprising. What we also understand is that when combined with his little man anger that seemed to quadruple whenever he was around taller black men, it led him to mistreat and manhandle black customers at El Nuevo Rancho nightclub, especially on so-called ‘Urban Night,’ to the point that he frequently used pepper spray on black customers to subdue them. It did not take much to set the former cop off, he had 17 complaints lodged against him over the course of being a cop in Minneapolis for 19 years. He also worked at the nightclub for 17 years as a door man out front and had contact with George Floyd for about a year as the slain man worked inside and their shifts overlapped. We want to know what happened between them.
