124. TODAY IN HISTORY—TUESDAY, MAY 04, 2021

LL. 1954 Tuesday A: The attempt to reach Dien Bien Phu by French Union forces fighting from the south in Operation Condor had stalled. A contingency plan- Operation Albatross had already been discussed, a breakout of the 2,000-3,000 fittest men from Dien Bien Phu and Isabelle, but sadly for the garrison, it was slated to May 15 when additional air support and artillery could provide some semblance of aid as to help those breaking out heading to the south. Problem was the troops were unclear as to whether they could sustain the fight until then.

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

Following the name change from the Iveys to Badfinger, the band released its first album, “Magic Christian Music” on January 09, 1970.  The band wrote several songs from the movie score of “The Magic Christian” and then did an album with a similar names with additional tunes.  The lineup featured Pete Ham (lead and backing vocals, lead guitar, and keyboards), Tom Evans (lead and backing vocals, rhythm guitar), Ron Griffiths (bass guitar, lead and backing vocals), and Mike Gibbins (drums and percussion, backing and lead vocals) as well as famed pianist Nicky Hopkins and Paul McCartney who wrote the band’s first big hit, the one with which future generations of music fans would forever associate the group, “Come and Get It.”  What better way to introduce one’s ears to one of the greatest unsung bands of rock-and-roll history, one gifted with soaring highs and horrible depressing lows.  Please, seek it out and consider adding it to your collection- you will be glad you did.

FF. 1954 Monday: Fighting continues at Dien Bien Phu. At Isabelle, French Foreign Legionnaires send out combat patrols to clear communist approach trenches ringing them on all sides. Once again, the communists are driven away, the Foreign Legionnaires bring in captured weapons to augment what they have left. In the main camp, officers are going through the hospital seeking anyone who can load or fire a weapon to return to duty in defense of the camp. The walking wounded pick up arms and head back to the fight. It is US or it is THEM and when it comes to communists, the only good communists are dead communists.

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

Before there was Badfinger, there was the Iveys, a band that formed in Swansea, Wales, and became the first outside band signed to the Beatles’ Apple label.  The group consisted of Pete Ham (lead and backing vocals, lead guitar, and keyboards), Tom Evans (lead and backing vocals, rhythm guitar), Ron Griffiths (bass guitar, lead and backing vocals), and Mike Gibbins (drums and percussion, backing and lead vocals).  The group’s first album, “Maybe Tomorrow,” came out on July 04, 1969, and was slated to be issued worldwide; however, for some still unknown reason, it only hit record stores in Japan, West Germany, and Italy which would make this album an expensive collector’s choice once they changed their name from the Iveys to Badfinger and became a massive global phenomenon.  We wholly recommend this album as it’s one for the history books, the start of something amazing as well as extremely tragic which is why we recommend it with as much vigor as we possibly can.   At Amazon.com, you can get the CD for about $20 while on vinyl, it goes for around $200.00.  Seek it out and give it a listen- enjoy.

Bush did a HORRIBLE thing and that the Deep State and the Neocons propelled him into it.  We must always think of our servicemen-and-women ahead of regime change wars, especially when they are undeclared and the entire nation is not behind the effort.  Meanwhile, a May Day pro-illegal alien immigration rally goes awry in the City of Angels today as out-of-control illegal alien loves got their asses beat by the LAPD.  Go for it.

  64. 2010 Friday: The Washington Post publishes a story in which, two retired U.S. Army generals tell the reporter that the U.S. military is having a tough time with 25-percent of the population being obese and ‘too fat to fight.’  Perhaps we should return to a draft and get these punks back in shape?   Meanwhile, some member of the ‘religion of peace’ sets off a bomb inside a Mogadishu mosque sending at least two dozen people to visit with Allah sooner than they had anticipated.

Human Rights Office determines that it is a violation of international law to force-feed hunger strikers at the U.S. Guantanamo Bay prison.  Elsewhere, in the aftermath of the Boston Marathon bombings, the Boston police scoop up three close friends of the bombers who provided them aid and comfort.  Meanwhile, in Seattle, Washington, a May Day celebration causes the celebrants to run amok, attacking police, breaking glass, and setting things ablaze.  Nearly a dozen cops are injured in the melees around the city.  That’s communists for you.
  68. 2014 Thursday: According to Brainy History, Ford Motor Company CEO Alan Mulally, will retire in July and that Mark Fields will replace him; Mulally restored profitability and distinguished the company as the only Big Three automaker to refuse government bailouts during the 2008-2009 recession.  Elsewhere, as Vladimir Putin’s thugs continue trying to snip off the eastern portion of Ukraine- cos, don’t you know- a whole lotta Russians supposedly live there- Kiev orders a return to conscription, what we Americans call the draft.  IF only the Obama administration would provide these guys with weapons.

  70. 2016 Sunday: ISIS does what it does best and that is it carries out two car bombings in the town of As-Samawah that propels unlucky souls to commune with Allah while leaving 75 wounded in varying degrees.   Elsewhere, two Christian missionaries working out of Pennsylvania are found murdered in separate areas of Jamaica’s rural St. Mary’s Parish.  As of now, NO one knows who killed Randy Hentzel and Harold Nichols.
  71. 2017 Monday: Musician Billy Corgan announces he will purchase the National Wrestling Alliance.   Elsewhere, Kim Jong Un goes berserk as the U.S. flies two B-1B heavy bombers over the Korean Peninsula causing the ‘Brave Leader’ to bellow that the Trump administration is preparing for nuclear war against his country.  Meanwhile, what’s Paris, France, without RIOTS on May Day?  That’s what they get as mobs of protesters- supposedly preparing for upcoming elections- run amok in the streets causing riot police to fire tear gas and rubber bullets into the seething crowd.
  72. 2018 Tuesday: Another one bites the dust: the Dominican Republic, under pressure from the Chi-Coms, severs ties with Taiwan and opens diplomatic relations with Beijing.   Elsewhere, it’s May Day and what could be better than communists and socialists running amok in the streets?  In France, Paris sees some violent demonstrations what with car dealerships and fast food restaurants being set ablaze.  Not good.  Maybe the authorities should utilize some lead on these scumbags?  Just saying.
  73. 2019 Wednesday: U.S. Attorney General William “Bill” Barr sits before the Senate Judiciary Committee so he shag questions on HOW he handled the fraudulent Robert S. Mueller III report into ‘Trump-Russia collusion,’ since proven to be little more than a hoax.  Meanwhile, WikiLeaks founder receives a sentence of 50 weeks in a British slammer over his skipping bail back in 2012.  After that…he could be on his way to the United States.  Elsewhere, following the leak of a defense council meeting in Great Britain regarding the danger communist China’s Huawei poses the United Kingdom, British Prime Minister Theresa May fires her Secretary of State Defense Gavin Williamson, blaming him for the leak.
  74. 2020 Friday: COVID-19 continues running amok and communist China continues acting like the Sgt. Schultz character on the old B & W TV show, “Hogan’s Heroes,” “We know nothing, we know nothing.”  Okay, be like that.  Anyhow, here are today’s statistics: around the globe, we have 3,033,296 confirmed cases of this mess, 235,290 confirmed deaths but 1,039,588 confirmed recoveries.  In the United States, we have 1,128,460 confirmed cases of the Kung Flu, 65,435 confirmed deaths, and 137,944 confirmed recoveries.  If you notice, confirmed deaths in the U.S. rose only 1,897 over the course of today while confirmed recoveries rose by 9,508 so folks, WTF?  Far-left fascist governors, quit behaving like you work in China and not the United States- that means you, Ralph Northam, that means you, Gretchen Whitmer, that means you, northeast liberal lunatic governors and that means you, J.B. Pritzker.  STOP behaving like Nazis!
  75. 2021 Saturday: You know the drill…

  64. 2020 Saturday: Speculation continues to swirl around North Korean leader Kim Jong Un- is he or is he not still alive?  He purportedly had some sort of cardiac issues but no one knows for sure.  We continue to await further developments.  Meanwhile, on the COVID-19 battlefront, the world reports 2,892,508 cases this Saturday what with 202,455 deaths but at least 815,658 confirmed recoveries.  In the U.S., the number of confirmed cases rests at 956,375 confirmed cases what with 53,928 confirmed deaths but 102,340 confirmed recoveries.  Some states such as Georgia and Colorado have announced re-opening of their economies and we await further developments on this front.  Back to COVID-19, the communist Chinese continue sticking with their bulls**t statistics that they have but 88,423 confirmed cases what with 4,632 confirmed deaths, and 81,725 confirmed recoveries.  Pay no attention as communists like jihadists always lie.
  65. 2021 Sunday:  Stick around and discover the truth along with us…

[ii] At some point when we return to presenting the music of American bands, we will promote that of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers as well as of Tom Petty himself.  We hope you will await word as to when we do.  We thank you.

  57. 2007 Friday: The state of Virginia begins the observance of a day of mourning for the victims of the Virginia Tech Massacre.  Of course, people want to take guns away from law-abiding people but never from the criminals and the nuts who utilize them to commit evil acts.

  66. 2017 Thursday: In Paris, a police van transporting criminals along the Champs Elysees suffers an attack by jihadists killing police officer and injuring two others.   Elsewhere, Australia beefs up its qualifications for one to become a citizen in their country by amending laws to demand stricter knowledge of the English language as well as a desire to become Australian and not remain some foreign-born piece of pond scum.  Wouldn’t it be great if the United States would do this?
  67. 2018 Friday: A federal court in Mexico declares sale of the controversial Barbie doll depicting artist, Frida Kahlo, cannot occur.  Not sure as to what the reasoning behind this is but folks, it is what it is.    Meanwhile, in the race for 2020, Senators Ron Johnson, R-WI, and “Little Bob” Corker, RINO-TN, opt NOT to endorse President Trump in the race for a second term.  Question is, “WHY?”  However, Senator Lindsey Graham, R-SC, says that he will endorse President Trump for a second term.
  68. 2019 Saturday: Even though the Trump administration is going after ISIS, they still manage to cause damage and in Syria, over the past couple of days they have managed to kill at least 50 Syrian army soldiers and wound numerous others.  Doesn’t say much about the training given them by Russia or Iran.  Meanwhile, much to the dismay of the far-left liberals, the Mueller Report says, “NO Trump-Russia collusion but the possibility of obstruction still exists.’  Elsewhere, Central American illegal aliens trying to get into the United States are saying the Mexicans are abusing them as they hover around the southern border of their country and the United States’.
  69. 2020 Monday: The world continues suffering under the Chinese Wuhan Virus Crisis that is spreading around the world.  Today, we have 2,458,150 confirmed cases of the disease what with 168,906 confirmed deaths and 643,918 confirmed recoveries.   The Chinese claim 88,423 confirmed cases with 4,632 confirmed deaths and 81,785 confirmed recoveries.  Meanwhile, the United States sees 789,439 confirmed cases what with 42,186 confirmed deaths, and 71,675 confirmed recoveries as of mid-day.  It is interesting to note that China’s figures change little from day to day which suggests they are either lying to the rest of the world or possess the cure which says a lot about communist governments.
  70. 2021 Tuesday: COVID-19 STATISTICS FOR THE PLANET AS A WHOLE: 141,813,257 confirmed cases, +399,077, 3,027,182  confirmed deaths, +7,522, and 81,116,141 confirmed recoveries, +327,427.  Next, here are the stats for the United States: 31,976,092 confirmed cases, UP 108,718 from yesterday’s reporting, 573,551 confirmed deaths, UP 924, and 119,041,372 confirmed recoveries.  Note- we are going to do our own estimates of recoveries based on percentages seeing as how the CDC won’t report them.[vii]
  71. 2021 Tuesday A: NOTE: SINCE JOE BIDEN BECAME PRESIDENT ON JANUARY 20, 2021, THERE HAVE BEEN 248,829 CHI-VI DEATHS IN THE United States- feeble old Joe, in another two to three weeks, you will have tied the total number witnessed by the Trump administration in nearly a year of the rampaging coronavirus pandemic.    Meanwhile, a new study suggests that the ‘VID can affect the lungs via the gums.  Elsewhere, the European Union announces it will restart receiving shipments of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine despite reports of RARE BLOOD CLOTS afflicting some recipients of the vaccine.
  72. 2021 Tuesday B: COVID-19 STATISTICS in the four states in which, the world-famous American Institute of Culinary Politics-the Elemental News of the Day employs chef-bloggers- California, Florida, Hawaii, and Washington- here are the stats, California first: 3,720,794 confirmed cases, 61,006 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Moving on, here are the numbers for Florida: 2,178,783 confirmed cases, 34,533 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries (same as yesterday’s count).  Next here are the numbers for Hawaii: 31,779 confirmed cases, 474 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries (same as yesterday’s count).  Finally, here are the stats for Washington: 388,842 confirmed cases, 5,439 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries (same as yesterday’s).  Let us look at one other portion of the U.S., Kansas, the home of the conservative Midwest: they have 308,518 confirmed cases, 5,005 confirmed deaths, but no mention of confirmed recoveries.[viii]
  73. 2021 Tuesday C: Now that Mo has relocated to Israel, let’s look at the statistics there: 837,309 confirmed cases, 6,342 confirmed deaths, and 828,761 confirmed recoveries.   Let’s look at one non-country- Kuwait, the supposed missing province of Iraq: 258,497 cases of the virus, 1,456 confirmed deaths and 241,696 confirmed recoveries.[ix]
  74. 2021 Tuesday D:   STOCK MARKET CLOSES/PRECIOUS AND RARE METALS: DOW Jones Industrial Average: 33,821.30, DOWN 256.33 points (-0.75%).  Next, the NASDAQ: 13,786.27, DOWN 128.50 points (-0.92%).  Finally, here are the stats for the S&P 500: 4,134.94, DOWN 28.32 points (-0.68%).  The price of Light Sweet Crude Oil is $62.42 per barrel, -0.25 (-0.40%).  The price of GOLD is $1,779.20 per troy oz., +0.80 (+0.04%) while the price of SILVER is $25.88 per troy ounce, +0.04 (+0.14%).  The price of PLATINUM is $1,189.50 per troy oz, -6.80 (-0.57%) while the price of COPPER is $4.20 per pound, -0.01 (-0.21%).[x]  The price of PALLADIUM is $2,761.73 per troy oz, -49.92 (-1.78%).[xi] The price of RHODIUM is $29,500.00 per troy oz., +500.00 (+1.72%).[xii]    Currently, Bitcoin, one U.S. greenback = 0.000017.  As for Chi-Com money, one-dollar U.S. = 6.50 Chinese yuan.  Meanwhile, one-dollar U.S. = 0.83 euros and in Mexican pesos equals 19.98.     In Icelandic Krona, one greenback equals 125.91 and in Indian Rupee, a buck equals 75.38.[xiii]
  75. 2021 Tuesday E: U.S. NATIONAL DEBT AND GASOLINE PRICES IN THE THREE STATES IN WHICH WE HAVE CHEF-AUTHORS- Thanks to the Biden administration, gasoline prices continue rising by the day- in California, gasoline prices have risen to over $3.974 per gallon, $2.818 in Florida, $3.749 in Hawaii, and $3.385 in Washington state.[xiv]    Let’s look at one other location- Louisiana: $2.611.  Meanwhile, here is a snapshot of the U.S. National Debt for today: $28,193,749,804,750 and the Democrats are adding TRILLIONS of dollars to it, not BILLIONS but flipping TRILLIONS.[xv]  Cloward and Piven causing problems like they always do.  In other business news, Netflix fails to meet paid subscriber predictions which leads to a subsequent fall in its shares.
  76. 2021 Tuesday F: CRIME AND PUNISHMENT NEWS- Stammering Joe Biden says he ‘hopes the jury in the trial of Minneapolis Police Officer Derek Chauvin reaches the right verdict.’   Next, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob “The Jerk” Frey says, “No matter the verdict, George Floyd died at the hands of the police.”  (Note- the police are under HIS control).   We were wrong: Judge Peter A. Cahill reads the verdicts and Officer Derek Chauvin is convicted on ALL charges.  Officer Chauvin stands to face 40 years in the slammer although esteemed legal scholar Dr. Alan Dershowitz believes that Maxine “Prune Face” Waters did enough to cause a mistrial (see below).  In an interesting aside, House Speaker Nancy “Mumbles” Pelosi, DS-CA 12th congressional district, gave a schizophrenic statement thanking ‘George Floyd for dying, for calling out to his mother on camera’ so the Dems could utilize his untimely demise to benefit the ongoing attempt to transform our country into a socialist s**t-hole.
  77. 2021 Tuesday G: SOCIAL MEDIA AND BIG TECH- The United Kingdom is considering launching their own digital currency, the so-called “Britcoin.”  Next, Facebook is developing new audio products, products with which we suspect they will listen in on their users’ conversations.  Elsewhere, Apple is going to permit Parler to be offered in its App Store.  Big flipping deal.  Speaking of Apple, they are going to reveal new products today in a virtual store.
  78. 2021 Tuesday H: RINO NEWS- Not to be outdone by former House Speaker John “Too Much Flipping Tanning Booth” Boehner, former President George W. Bush has to chime in and add his two cents on the modern GOP.  He says the Republican Party is ‘isolationist, protectionist, and nativist,’ lamenting the fact that he failed to get ‘comprehensive immigration reform taken care of when HE was president.’  Sadly, Republicans knew what he and the RINO wing of the GOP meant when they talked about ‘comprehensive immigration reform’ meant amnesty for millions with a pathway to citizenship for all.’  We did not want that then, George, and we don’t want it now and if you want to make sure the Bush Family name remains toxic, continue talking, George.  Voting for another Bush would mean legalizing the illegal and another justice like the loser chief justice of the U.S. Supreme Court, John Roberts.   IF Jeb were to run again, yikes, NO MORE BUSHES!
  79. 2021 Tuesday I: DEMOCRATIC-SOCIALIST NEWS- A new poll says that a large majority of the American people are concerned with the fact that Joe Biden appears to be a slobbering idiot much of the time.  We are concerned, too.   Speaking of Joe Biden, a Missouri college student is suing the Biden administration allowing trannys, i.e., chicks with dicks, into female-only college dorms.   Next, Michigan’s GOP announced they had discovered that Governor “Gravel Gertie” Gretchen Whitmer AND her staff took a secret vacation to Florida while demanding everyone else remain indoors wearing 4-5 masks.   Elsewhere, a new poll demonstrates that white liberals typically have far more mental problems than do everyone else.  We agree with that study.  Meanwhile, as criticism continues rolling in blasting Congresswoman Maxine “Prune Face” Waters, DS-CA 43rd congressional district, she dismisses it as ‘nothing’ even though she did the same thing that supposedly got President Donald J. Trump impeached a second time.   (Interesting note- “Prune Face” Waters sought a police escort when she landed in Minneapolis to the protest scene so she could stir the pot without having to fear for her safety.  Wow).  Speaking of “Prune Face,” House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy is pushing a bill to censure the decrepit old rabble rouser and to remove her from her committee assignments.  Go for it.  (Note- the Democrats blocked this move).
  80. 2021 Tuesday J: POLITICAL NEWS I- President Donald J. Trump says he is considering a run for the White House in 2024.  Elsewhere, Senator Joe Manchin, D-W. VA, says that ‘Joe Biden turned his back on the people of his state by going after coalminers when 43-percent of the world’s energy is derived from coal.’  This is true, the United States is the ‘Saudi Arabia of coal’ what with the best here such as anthracite and bituminous coal beneath our feet.   Moving on, Senator Marsha Blackburn says that asking for Voter ID is NOT racist.  We agree.  You need ID for everything else including welfare, liquor, and pot purchases, picking up tickets, buying cigarettes, you name it, you must show ID so WTF?
  81. 2021 Tuesday K: POLITICAL NEWS II- Officials in Indiana reveal that laws regarding firearms in their state would have done NOTHING to have stopped the mass shooting at the FedEx facility a week or so ago.  Next, in Arizona, students can now attend school in person and without having to wear face masks.  However, when the state’s mask mandate ends in May, Oregon is considering passing a law that will require faces masks on everyone forever.  That is correct- FOREVER.  Crazy flipping left-wing socialists.  Next, President Donald J. Trump is urging ‘Pro-China Joe’ Biden to reinstate the travel ban that protected the nation so well from the Chi-Vi pandemic.   Speaking of President Donald J. Trump, Ohio GOP lawmakers want to rename a state park for the 45th president.   Speaking of befuddled old Joe Biden, he backs a bill to make Washington, D.C., the 51st state.  People, just return the land to Maryland.  Enough!
  82. 2021 Tuesday L: POLITICAL NEWS III- The U.S. ambassador to Moscow, John Sullivan, is coming home for consultations after Joe Biden continues slandering Vladimir Putin.  Speaking of Mr. Putin and Russia, the word from Moscow is ‘IF Joe Biden wants a summit with Mr. Putin, it will depend on U.S. actions.’   Elsewhere, in Florida, Republican Governor Ron DeSantis signs a bill that will allow the state to tax $1 billion in online purchases.   Next, North Carolina won’t pass a bill banning youth tranny procedures.  NOT right.  Wait until you’re 18 and then if you wish to destroy your body, it’s ON YOU.   Meanwhile, Willie Nelson is encouraging Joe Biden to make the ‘pot holiday’ an official one.   Finally, like Gary Gilmore in Utah back in 1977, a death row inmate in Nevada, Zane Michael Floyd, wants the option of being executed via firing squad.   Finally, Los Angeles, California, Mayor Eric “The Grub” Garcetti, NOT TO BE OUTDONE BY FELLOW LEFTISTS, is proposing a universal basic income (that ONLY minorities will receive).
  83. 2021 Tuesday M: POLITICAL NEWS IV- Senator Rick Scott, R-FL, says that “WOKE” companies will feel a backlash in the aftermath of Major League Baseball withdrawing the All-Star Game and MLB Draft from the Peach State.  Meanwhile, a recent poll says that less than one-third of Americans are aware of Special Counsel John Durham’s investigation into the Joe Biden-Russia-Chi-Com connection.
  84. 2021 Tuesday N: FOREIGN NEWS / OVERSEAS NEWS- Chi-Com President Xi Jinping gives a thinly veiled warning to Joe Biden not to pursue a path of unilateralism.  Meanwhile, General Frank McKenzie, head of U.S. Central Command, says that ‘pulling out of Afghanistan will make the War on Terror that much more difficult to prosecute.’   Elsewhere, Bill Gates and loads of world leaders will attend the ‘Biden climate summit.’  This should be fun to watch.  Next, Russia’s defense minister says, ‘U.S. actions in the Black Sea are becoming increasingly provocative.’  We would advise Joe Biden not to send U.S. Naval assets into the Black Sea as whatever senile old Joe sends would NOT be able to withstand a concerted Russian attack nor might Turkey allow the vessels to pass back through the Dardanelles to the Mediterranean.  It could be a real cluster-f**k.  Finally, Admiral Charles Richard, head of U.S. Strategic Command, issues a dire warning to the administration: the Chi-Coms and the Russians are modernizing their nuclear forces much faster than anything the United States is doing.  Sadly, WOKE issues for the Democrats are much more important than defending the nation.[xvi]
  85. 2021 Tuesday O: Stay tuned for tonight’s Mega-Millions Draw #1652 with a $257 million jackpot on the line. ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

Temple of Rock, the ongoing project by Michael Schenker continues rocking forward.  Joining the smoking hot guitarist from the Fatherland are bassist Francis Buchholz, Michael Voss (vocals), Herman Rarebell (drums), and Wayne Findlay (keyboards).  The resulting effort produced “On a Mission- Live in Madrid,” which hit record store shelves on May 31, 2016.  One thing is for sure and that is you cannot keep good German rockers down as these guys have the fire in their bellies and it’s stoked up white hot.  Add to that the amazing Spanish audience and you have one hell of a live recording.  We hope you will rush out and seek this one out NOW so you can add it to your collection- you will be glad you did.

ENDNOTES:

[i] We look forward to presenting the music of Grand Funk Railroad sometime in the late 2020s.

[ii] As usual, our main sources for the heroic Battle of Dien Bien Phu in which several thousand French Union troops fought against tens of thousands of ravenous communist soldiers comes from “The Last Valley” by Martin Windrow, De Capo Press, 2006.

[iii] We began promoting the music of an interconnected group of bands including the Small Faces, Faces, and Rod Stewart beginning on Tuesday, 22-April-2014 through Tuesday, 01-July-2014.  This was a massive undertaking of rock bands and solo artists so we hope you will seek them out and consider adding the music to your album collection.

[iv] We promoted the music of this venerable British rock band as part of a series of interconnected bands beginning on Tuesday, 22-April-2014 through Tuesday, 01-July-2014.  This included the Small Faces, Faces, Rod Stewart, Ronnie Wood, Jeff Beck, Steve Marriott, Humble Pie, and other interconnected parts.  We hope you will seek them out and consider adding them to your collection.

[v] We began promoting the music of Queen- as well as its individual members (Freddie Mercury, Brian May, Roger Taylor, and John Deacon)- on Monday, 14-January-2019 through Monday, 01-April-2019.  We hope you will seek them out and consider adding them to your collection.

[vi] At some point in the distant future, we hope to do the music of the famed rocker, Prince.  Be sure to remain aware for the day that we do.

[xvi] We have predicted since ‘Pro-China Joe’ Biden ‘won’ the 2020 Presidential Election that it would not surprise any of us if the Russians, the Chi-Coms, the North Koreans, the Iranians, the Venezuelans, the Cubans, and all the Third World countries in the orbit of Beijing were to act in concert against the U.S. and her interests.  What better opportunity would they have?  Unless President Donald Trump reenters the White House, we are sitting ducks.

German transport ships are trying to resupply the Axis forces holding the area but the Soviet Black Sea Fleet is now beginning to contest the waters between Bulgaria and Rumania and the Crimea. Hitler is determined his troops will not abandon the massive fortress port city. After all, the Red Army clung to it for more than a year as Operation Barbarossa rolled by them heading east.

Grant at Appomattox Court House in Virginia.  The event took place in the parlor of the home of Wilmer McClean.

  23. 1941 Wednesday: The Balkan campaign continues to accelerate as the Yugoslavs cannot stop the Blitzkrieg coming their way nor can the Greeks.  However, Axis forces will end up wasting six weeks that could have been spent better by invading the Soviet Union in May 1941 rather than towards the end of June 1941.  This would prove to be the undoing of Operation Barbarossa.
  24. 1942 Thursday: During World War II, American and Philippine defenders on Bataan capitulated to Japanese forces; the infamous Bataan Death March followed the surrender in which the POWS were marched to prisoner of war camps miles away.  As they made the trek, they were denied food, water, medical aid, and other humanitarian treatment and anyone unable to continue the march and who fell by the side of the path was used for bayonet practice if the Japanese troops were bored or shot in the head if they were determined to march the 12,000 survivors to the infamous POW camps.  In the Crimea, Soviets are trying to push the Axis troops back but are not yet powerful enough to do it yet.
  25. 1943 Friday: Japanese air assets begin attacking U.S. and Australian shipping near the Solomon Islands’ hotbed of Guadalcanal where a fight to the death had occurred in 1942.  Having lost the battle for Guadalcanal earlier they are still contesting the region.  Their offensive power would begin to ebb as the Allies would begin building up the necessary power to take the fight to the Japanese home islands.
  26. 1944 Sunday: In the Crimea on the Eastern Front, German and Rumanian forces are falling back to the Sebastopol line.
  27. 1945 Monday: The NFL requires its players to wear long stockings.  Elsewhere, the Battle for Okinawa continues as U.S. forces assault the infamous Shuri Line, heavily defended by interlocking Imperial Japanese forces.  The Japanese fortified portions of the island so as to draw in U.S. forces and then bleed them dry.  This fight would continue for several weeks.

  51. 2009 Thursday: After NOT being seen since August 2008, North Korea’s Great Leader Kim Jong Un makes a public appearance.  He is after all, running for another term as leader of his nation.  We bet he will get 99.999-percent and the fraction that don’t vote for him will be sent to the gulags with three generations of their families.
  52. 2010 Friday: Rescuers search for over 200 people believed buried in their homes by a landslide in Murro do Bumba near Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.  Meanwhile, ISIS is excited in that they are claiming credit for a recent triple bombing in Baghdad that blew up 40 poor souls and damaged some nearby embassies.  Ah, the ‘religion of peace’ strikes again- Islam.
  53. 2011 Saturday: In the Republic of Djibouti, located in the Horn of Africa, President Ismael Omar Guelleh wins re-election with 79% of the vote.  Elsewhere, the Palestinians are causing trouble as they fire a barrage of at least 100-120 rockets into southern Israel, injuring several people.  The Iron Dome knocks quite a few of them down and the Israeli air force begins conducting retaliatory airstrikes on Palestinian positions.  Light ‘em up, boys, light those scumbags up.  The Palestinians report at least 12 civilians- mostly young and innocent (yeah, right)- are killed in the airstrikes.
  54. 2012 Monday: Facebook purchases Instagram, a photo sharing application, for $1 billion.  Elsewhere, the North Koreans are preparing for another missile launch which the world’s spy satellites claim might be a new intercontinental missile with which to threaten the entire world but especially the Obama administration.  Meanwhile, the Arab Spring continues as Turkey gets angry that the Syrians are firing cross-border barrages into refugee camps on the Turkish side.
  55. 2013 Tuesday: The North Korean government advises its people to leave South Korea soon, anticipating a possible conflict.  Meanwhile, Japan installs Patriot missiles in central Tokyo and Okinawa Island and sent two warships to patrol the Sea of Japan.  Elsewhere, troubles continue in the South Sudan as gunmen attack some U.N. peacekeepers- “blue helmets”- killing at least 12 of them and wounding numerous others.

  61. 2018 Monday A: Meanwhile, the FBI swoop down on President Donald J. Trump’s personal attorney Michael Cohen as they search for evidence of illicit payments from the Trump campaign to porn star, Stormy Daniels.  Cohen would flip on his boss but could not give federal prosecutors anything of value.  Next, comedian Bill Cosby’s retrial begins today.  The comedian is hopeful a new trial will clear him of all charges which he says are BOGUS.  Him doping women and then doing them?  Come on, he’s ‘America’s dad.’
  62. 2019 Tuesday: For their part in the pro-independence movement, a court finds nine leading members of Hong Kong’s “Umbrella Movement” guilty on public nuisance charges and sentences them to prison.   Meanwhile, as the college bribery scandal continues gathering steam, federal prosecutors indict another 16 people involved in the scam.   Elsewhere, a youthful suicide bomber attacks a market in the Sinai, blowing up several policemen and several other civilians while wounding at least 27.  The so-called ‘religion of peace’ strikes again.

Anthony Fauci and Deborah Birx continue demanding of the American people which is insane.  Some places are not suffering whereas some Democratic strongholds such as New York state and New York City continue racking up the losses.  Meanwhile, the Stock Market finishes UP which is awesome with the DOW Jones Industrial Complex closing at 23,719.37, up 285.80 (1.22%); the NASDAQ closed at 8,153,57 up 62.67 (0.77%), and the S & P closed at 2,789.82, up 39.84 (1.45%).  Real Clear Politics claims that President Trump’s approval ratings are +47 and -52.  Polls also claim that Vice President “China Joe” Biden is leading President Trump.  Bulls**t.  Finally, Chef Itzi Nakamura of the AICPENDBLOG.COM now believes that when the COVID-19 mess ends, the United States must reimplement the Two-China Policy, recognizing Nationalist China, aka Taiwan, as an equal to the mainland if not the legitimate ruler of the mainland.
  64. 2021 Friday: It’s the weekend but communists never sleep, folks, so stick around to discover whatever their flunky, “Pro-China Joe” Biden is up to today.  Also, stay tuned for the Mega-Millions Draw #1649!

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

UFO released a somewhat costly retrospective anthology of sorts on January 21, 2012, “The Chrysalis Years 1973-1979.”  This effort contains every piece of music the band recorded between 1973 and 1979.  You get all the tunes collected together on several CDS.  Some sites are charging an arm and a leg (perhaps two legs) for this collection but if you have some money to spend- seeing as how everyone may have received their Joe Biden PORKULUS checks, you will have enough cash to purchase this glorious set and still have a couple of hundred dollars left.  Seek it out now and see if it’s right for you- you will be glad you did.

DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2022: 595

82. TODAY IN HISTORY—TUESDAY, MARCH 23, 2021 UPDATE A:

DAY SIXTY-THREE OF THE BIDEN ADMINISTRATION

It would appear that the world will soon learn about the U.S. government’s files on Unidentified Flying (and Submersible) Objects- perhaps this will unite the world

  • 2021 Tuesday: YESTERDAY’S NEWS CATCHUP- Dare we say this but the name of the individual who shot up the King Sooper Grocery Store in Boulder, Colorado, goes by the name of Ahmad Al-Aliwi Alissa.  Allah Akbar, anyone?  Meanwhile, Robert Aaron Long, the perp who carried out the Atlanta Massage Parlors Massacre found himself in court charged with ‘malice murder’ and ‘aggravated assault.’  The poor bastard was trying to conquer a sex addiction, something he will be unable to conquer in prison as everyone knows what goes on in there.  Sad.  Elsewhere, in the trial of former Minneapolis Police Officer Derek Chauvin, after seating 2 alternate jurors yesterday giving the trial a full 12 plus the two, seated a 15th today in case one of the other ones drops or is forced out for some as yet unanticipated reason.
  • 2021 Tuesday A: BIDEN BORDER CATASTROPHE I- White House Press Secretary Jen “Circle Back” Psaki could not answer a reporter’s question as to WHY illegal alien mobs receive better treatment than do National Guard members protecting Fort Pelosi in Washington, D.C.  National Guard members have had to sleep in frigid parking garages and have been served undercooked, raw, or poor quality food while illegals are pampered like Roman emperors.  Something is NOT right here.
  • 2021 Tuesday B: BIDEN BORDER CATASTROPHE II- Regarding the border mess, the Biden administration continues trying to deflect blame for the ongoing disaster onto President Donald J. Trump’s back.  Not working very well seeing as how President Trump handed Joe Biden a secure border.   Regarding the Biden Border Catastrophe, 40-percent in a recent poll blame Joe Biden 100-percent for the border catastrophe while 27-percent (the uneducated) blame President Donald J. Trump.  Another 12-percent blame Congress.  What everyone agrees on is the border must be secured NOW.  Speaking of the CRISIS, “Kooky Kamala” Harris says her administration received a f-up border from the previous administration and when asked if she was going to visit the border anytime soon, laughed it off.[i]
  • 2021 Tuesday C: BIDEN BORDER CATASTROPHE III-  the Republicans are dangling the bait of amnesty for DACA recipients, i.e., the much-beloved DREAMers (yeah, right- deport all of them NOW) in exchange for the Democrats agreeing to fix the broken farmworker visa system.  You know, we used to have the Bracero Program which allowed temporary workers to cross to and from the southern border to work in the United States and then to return home after the season ended.  What is so frigging difficult about this?  Just fix it and stop the tidal wave of illegals rampaging through our country.  Enough already!  Meanwhile, we learn that only 13-percent of family units crossing the southern border are turned back into Mexico.  Wow.
  • 2021 Tuesday D: LAW ENFORCEMENT/LEGAL NEWS- Attorney Sidney Powell files a motion to dismiss suit in court to have the bogus lawsuit filed by the (allegedly) corrupt Dominion Voting Systems out of Canada.  These scumbags filed a frivolous lawsuit against all those who pointed out the fact that Dominion coupled with Hugo Chavez’s Smartmatic software STOLE the 2020 Presidential Election and threw it to decrepit old Joe Biden.   In other news, Regent University hosted a lengthy symposium on how the election fraud in 2020 occurred what with Michelle Bachman and Peter Navarro providing reams of evidence showing the crime committed before our eyes.  Elsewhere, the Massachusetts attorney general seeks to vacate thousands of drug convictions that were handed out using lab ‘evidence’ with which law enforcement tampered so as to achieve convictions.
  • 2021 Tuesday E: U.S. POLITICAL NEWS-  Congressman Mo Brooks, R-AL 5th congressional district announced today that he is running to fill the seat being vacated by retiring Senator Richard Shelby.  Good luck, Mo!  Meanwhile, Congressman James Comer, R-KY 1st congressional district, blasts the Biden tax plan as being little more than a wealth redistribution scheme.  Elsewhere, by a vote of 68-29, the U.S. Senate confirms the nomination of Boston Mayor Marty Walsh to become the next U.S. Secretary of the Labor Department.  From what we hear, the guy is a labor hack.  In other news, Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-GA 14th congressional district says that ‘efforts to expel me will fail.’  Next, Senator Tammy Duckworth, D-IL, says she won’t confirm anymore WHITE nominees sent to the U.S. Senate by the Biden administration until some Asian-Americans begin getting nominated for high posts- like what?  Ambassador to Micronesia?  Finally, Joe Biden says we can ban assault weapons.  Go for it.
  • 2021 Tuesday F: ECONOMIC AND BUSINESS NEWS I-  Economist Steve Moore pointed out today how the $1,400 stimulus checks sent to, uh, not just American taxpayers but to felons in prison, illegal aliens, and even savvy foreigners could end up costing $11,000 each.  Not good.  Meanwhile, U.S. corporations are urging elected Democrats to push through the DREAMER bill so as to get all this cheap labor employed while American workers are left without.   However, corporations may not get the last laugh as U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen is promising to boost the U.S. corporate tax rate back to where it was- if not higher- than before President Donald J. Trump was in office.  Corporate heads, DON’T you wish you had supported the 45th president when you had the opportunity?
  • 2021 Tuesday G: ECONOMIC AND BUSINESS NEWS II- In other PANDERING NEWS, the city of Evanston, Illinois, becomes the first city in the United States to provide reparations to black Americans.  Wait, isn’t Evanston a NORTHERN CITY where slavery did not exist?  WTF is up with that?  (Note- NO longer can Democrats in Evanston use ‘slavery’ as a club to bash the heads of their political enemies.  NEVER).  Elsewhere, Joe Biden’s economic advisers are warning fellow Democrats to prepare for an additional $3 trillion in spending, much of which will go into HIGH-SPEED RAIL?  WTF?  This has never worked in the United States nor will it.  Next, Microsoft is in talks to buy instant messaging app, Discord.   Finally, Regal Cinemas plans a grand reopening across the country beginning on April 02, 2021.
  • 2021 Tuesday H: FOREIGN AND OVERSEAS NEWS I- Following a complaint, the Federal Communications Commission- the FTC- is looking into allegations that two communist Chinese telecommunications companies, China Central Television and CGTN, for inserting propaganda into its broadcasts as well as showing coerced confessions by prisoners who have been mistreated.   Meanwhile, Russian officials say that Joe Biden has repeatedly rejected any open talks with Moscow so that mutual problems can be addressed and grievances aired.  That’s Joe for you.  Speaking of Joe Biden, he’s going to address a virtual summit of European leaders this upcoming Thursday just as he is supposed to address the American people via a press conference.  (Note- we expect neither will occur or if they do, they will come off as Max Headroom with multiple takes, Deep Fakes, and hidden earpieces.  What a country).  Moving on, Dems are pressuring Joe Biden to ease sanctions on communist Venezuela.  Elsewhere, Saudi Arabia is proposing a ceasefire with the Houthi rebels.  Finally, Israeli voters are taking another shot at Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
  • 2021 Tuesday I: Here are the COVID-19 statistics for the planet as a whole: 123,924,888 confirmed cases, +408,189, 2,727,640 (down from yesterday’s figure), confirmed deaths, +7,937, and 70,320,511 confirmed recoveries, +344,632.  Next, here are the stats for the United States: 30,104,069 confirmed cases, up 49,466 from yesterday’s reporting, 548,613 confirmed deaths, UP 442, and 117,037,711 confirmed recoveries.  Note- we are going to do our own estimates of recoveries based on percentages seeing as how the CDC won’t report them.
  • 2021 Tuesday J: NOTE: SINCE JOE BIDEN BECAME PRESIDENT ON JANUARY 20, 2021, THERE HAVE BEEN 220,146 CHI-VI DEATHS IN THE United States- feeble old Joe, in another three-and-a-half-weeks, you will have tied the total number witnessed by the Trump administration in nearly a year of the rampaging coronavirus pandemic.  In other COVID-19 news, the Centers for Disease Control are hammering AstraZeneca for using outdated data in their correlation of vaccine results.  Say it ain’t so.  Meanwhile, a new study suggests that low-dose aspirin can ward off the coronavirus.  Elsewhere, Pfizer is developing a pill with which to ward off the ‘VID.  (In other healthcare news, Governor Asa Hutchinson, R-AK, has signed a new antiabortion law into being, one that will challenge Roe v. Wade in the courts).   (Other News II- the teachers’ unions are pushing back on the CDC’s recommendations for social distancing: six feet or no teach).
  • 2021 Tuesday K: Next, in the three states in which, the world-famous American Institute of Culinary Politics-the Elemental News of the Day employs chef-bloggers- California, Hawaii, and Washington- here are the stats, California first: 3,646,171 confirmed cases, 57,799 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Next here are the numbers for Hawaii: 28,912 confirmed cases, 454 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Finally, here are the stats for Washington: 358,762 confirmed cases, 5,232 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Let us look at one other piece of U.S. territory- the commonwealth of the Northern Marianas: currently, they have 158 confirmed cases, 2 confirmed deaths, and 32 confirmed recoveries.  Now that Mo has relocated to Israel, let’s look at the statistics there: 828,764 confirmed cases, 6,109 confirmed deaths, and 807,653 confirmed recoveries.   Let’s look at one other country- Philippines, home of Ferdinand and Imelda Marcos (and her legendary shoe collection): 677,653 cases of the virus, 12,992 confirmed deaths and 578,461 confirmed recoveries.
  • 2021 Tuesday L:.   STOCK MARKET CLOSES/PRECIOUS AND RARE METALS: DOW Jones Industrial Average: 32,423.15, DOWN 308.05 points (-0.94%).  Next, the NASDAQ: 13,227.70, DOWN 149.84 points (-1.12%).  Finally, here are the stats for the S&P 500: 3,910.52, DOWN 30.07 points (-0.76%).  The price of GOLD is $1,726.20 per troy oz., +1.10 (+0.06%) while the price of SILVER is $25.11 per troy ounce, -0.14 (-0.54%).  The price of PLATINUM is $1,169.60 per troy oz, -5.00 (-0.43%) while the price of COPPER is $4.03 per pound, -0.05 (-1.14%).  The price of PALLADIUM is $2,605.00 per troy oz, -24.00 (-0.91%). The price of RHODIUM is $29,200.00 per troy oz.  The price of Light Sweet Crude Oil is $57.42 per barrel, -0.34 (-0.59%)  Currently, one-dollar U.S. = 6.52 Chi-Com yuan.   Meanwhile, one-dollar U.S. = 0.84 euros and in Mexican pesos equals 20.79.  As for Bitcoin, one U.S. greenback = 0.000018.   In Bangladeshi taka, one greenback equals 84.37.
  • 2021 Monday M: Thanks to the Biden administration, gasoline prices continue rising by the day- in California, gasoline prices have risen to over $3.882 per gallon, $3.612 in Hawaii, and $3.320 in Washington state.  Time to allow the country to return to fracking, there Joe Biden.   Meanwhile, here is a snapshot of the U.S. National Debt for today: $28,085,852,256,420 and the Democrats are adding TRILLIONS of dollars to it, not BILLIONS but flipping TRILLIONS.  Cloward and Piven running amok.  The country is going to crumble into nothingness.  IF the Chinese are going to become the masters of the world, well, what can we do except to join the band.
  • 2021 Tuesday N: UNIDENTIFIED FLYING (AND SUBMERSIBLE) OBJECT NEWS- It would appear that the American people will soon learn the truth about UFOs although whether anyone will go the distance and inform us that the persons operating these crafts are not of this world is unclear.  Louis Elizondo was on Fox News this morning discussing the phenomena that has vexed millions around the world since the Roswell crash in New Mexico shortly after the end of World War II.  Elizondo provides three explanations as to the origins of these craft.  First, that they are BLACK OPERATIONS vehicles that only certain governmental organizations are aware of while the second is that the technology could be that of our enemies.  The third is that they come from somewhere else although no one wants to definitively state they come from somewhere NOT of this Earth such as interdimensional or interplanetary or interstellar origins.  To be a UFO, there must be at least one of five observable characteristics such as (1) the ability to accelerate almost instantaneously (2) hypersonic speeds (3) low observability (4) the ability to operate on various planes such as air to water, water to air, and whatever else observers might see and (5) the ability to move sans any form of wings, engine exhausts, and other characteristics associated with earthly flight.
  • 2021 Tuesday O: FOREIGN/OVERSEAS NEWS II- North Korea sent a message to Joe Biden today in which, Kim Jong Un- the Great Leader II- fired off a barrage of short-range missiles into the sea this past weekend as a message to the White House that the Democratic Republic of North Korea does not like Joe Biden firing up the U.S.-South Korean military exercises.  The Department of Defense said today that ‘North Korea threatens the entire region.’  Wow.  We don’t think Chairman Kim likes Joe Biden very much.  It will be interesting to see what comes of this.  Meanwhile, the Biden administration still won’t say that labeling Vladimir Putin a ‘killer’ was the wrong thing to do.  Elsewhere, China lashes out at U.S. allies in a bid to thwart the agenda of “Joe Biden.”  The People’s Republic of China began slapping reciprocal sanctions onto the European Union for the pressure the ‘Biden administration’ and the EU are slapping onto Beijing for mistreating the citizens of Hong Kong, Tibet, and Uighur Muslims.  China says these are internal issues like mistreatment of minorities in the U.S. is an American internal issue.  Joe- the AICPENDBLOG.COM recommends YOU don’t start something with the PRC you can’t finish or win.
  • 2021 Tuesday P: Stick around for the results of the Mega Millions Draw #1644 tonight what with a $122 million pot on the line for some lucky winner(s). Here are the numbers: 12, 23, 35, 38, 55, and Mega 11.  Out of 80,188 winning tickets, the highest winners were three people who had FOUR numbers plus the Mega for a prize of $6,340 apiece.
  • 2021 Tuesday Q: END OF THE NIGHT NEWS FOREIGN/OVERSEAS III- We overlooked this story this morning but in a Rohingya refugee camp in Bangladesh, a massive fire broke out killing 560 people outright, thousands more injured, and causing the disappearances of another 400.  The U.N. says that 45,000 people have been displaced.   The Bangladeshis have given shelter to more than 1 million of their fellow Muslims whom the anti-Muslim government in neighboring Burma drove out back in 2017 via a concerted effort to kill all of them.  Next, even though Saudi Arabia proposed a ceasefire with the Houthi rebel scum in Yemen, the Houthis conducted an attack on Abha International Airport with a drone loaded up with explosives.   Had the ceasefire gone into effect, it would have permitted the reopening of the Sana’a airport in Yemen so that relief supplies could flow into the starving, impoverished civilians in the country.  Instead, we think the Saudis had better raze all Houthi-controlled areas.
  • 2021 Tuesday R: END OF THE NIGHT NEWS NATIONAL:  A 14th woman filed a lawsuit against Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson accusing him of exposing himself and performing lewd acts on them.  The quarterback denies all allegations and investigation is ensuing.  Unlike Governor Andrew “Killer” Cuomo, we believe that Watson is facing false accusations and we will wait to see where the evidence takes us.   Elsewhere, the ‘Biden administration’ announces all official documents will bear the moniker ‘Biden-Harris Administration.’  Speaking of old Joe, he says he is going to take America’s guns away since a crazed Syrian refugee POS shot up the Boulder, Colorado, grocery store killing 10 people, all of whom were WHITE.  No one seems to be shedding tears for them but oh, those poor Asian hookers- uh, excuse me, masseuses- in Atlanta, that is an entirely different story.  Meanwhile, Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley, DS-MA 7th congressional district, says ‘making Washington, D.C. a state is a matter of racial equity seeing as how there are loads of black folks living there.’

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

UFO came back on September 26, 2006 with its next studio album, “The Monkey Puzzle,” a superb rocker to be sure flavored with their unique blend of rock-and-roll.  The band was close to being original in that it featured Phil Mogg (vocals), Pete Way (bass/vocals), Paul Raymond (guitars/keyboards/vocals), Andy Parker (drums), and Vinnie Moore (guitars).  If you know anything about this band, you know they are one of the survivors from the glorious days- 1960s and 1970s- UFO coming along at the end of the ‘60s and continuing until modern times which puts them into a category with only the Rolling Stones and part-time Who.  Oh, yeah, Deep Purple remains with us, too, and years ago at the Google site, we spent close to a year presenting their music.  Thus, we are proud to share UFO with our WordPress.com fans.  Join us and celebrate, too!   You can find this album at Amazon.com as well as at Discogs, AllMusic, and other online venues…

WINTER SESSION 2021

BLOG POST #3,768 AT THE AICP-END

DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2022: 623

WE have the power to determine how many of our rights we will surrender to the Democratic-Socialists…

Shafter, CA 93263, 02-23-2021 Tuesday:   Amigos, we have a problem with senile Joe- el débil Joe– Biden in the White House, this old coot wants to appropriate our guns.  There, I said it, “BINGO!”  The man wants to go puerta a puerta with his storm troopers, his jack-booted band of thugs, and scoop up our guns so my family and I have no way of protecting ourselves.  When the numbers of illegal aliens dumped onto our streets have nowhere to go, no way to find food, water, shelter, or support, these scumbags are going to try to break into our homes, bust out the windows of our businesses, and assault us where we stand.  No, I’ve always been someone who values his CCW because if someone tries to jack me, I am going a soltar el tonto culo where he stands.

However, with crazy old Joe in the White House, my family and I have come to a grand conclusion as what to do, exactamente lo mismo we as business owners must do: band together and say, “NO!  We are not going to let you run our lives anymore.”  If everyone would band together, we would be able to send a penetrating bolt of miedo into all of these elected politicians who believe themselves to be dictators like Hugo Chavez or Fidel Castro.

Our restaurants and small business are dying, nuestras vidas están en la basura, and if we recall Gavin Newsom, Sacramento will still be full of Democratic-Socialists until Election Day November 2022.  The big box stores, the corporations, the chain restaurants, los extranjeros ilegales running hibachi grills on street corners here in Shafter, cooking up the carne nervuda of stray dogs, cats, and opossums, it’s what they do.

Add to that the never-ending flow of food wagons trundling around the city, prowling into the parks where the ilegales hang together with the homeless, all the while the rest of us see our businesses dying or dead because as law-abiding citizens, we play by the rules instead of circumventing the rules.

It’s a horrendous cost and until every business owner agrees to reopen on the same day, at the same hour, from one end of the country to the other, and agree to support one another, there is nothing the frigging government can do to YOU, ME, or to ANYONE else with a big swinging pair and an oversized dangler.

Nope, nothing these hijos de puta chupadores de escoria can do to anyone which is why we have a choice: are we the courageous Tejanos inside the Alamo willing to fight to the bloody end because we believe in something greater than ourselves or are we the inferior Mexican troops assembled outside the Alamo waiting to storm in and to put everyone to the sword.

Now, don’t get me wrong, I am sure I have distant family members who fleshed out the ranks of General Antonio López de Santa Anna, the brave men who for more than a week tried to storm the walls and were thrown back, time after time, their dead and dying bodies littering the killing fields surrounding the old mission.  Thrown back countless times, they finally breached the walls on several sides, stormed within, and killed everyone they encountered, combatant and noncombatant alike.

However, things did not go well for General Santa Anna.  No, several weeks later, they met an angry force of Tejanos who routed the Mexicans at the Battle of San Jacinto and sent them fleeing for their lives.  They captured General Santa Anna who was also the president of Mexico, and even worse for him, they caught him without his wooden leg on.  There was no way he could leap atop his horse and fly south, due south, on the heels the rest of his troops who managed to escape the slaughter.

Now we can surmise his captors wanted to lynch their defeated foe but Sam Houston saw something better to be had by preserving the man’s life.  Oh, it wasn’t his personality, I am sure he behaved like a pomposo pedazo de materia fecal mexicana as only the highborn in that country can.  Sam Houston thought it better to give the man his life and his leg.  All he had to do was to sign the future Lone Star state over to the Tejanos and away we go.

No, we are the defenders of the Alamo- somos los defensores del Alamo.  We took a bayonet of sorts in the guts on November 03, 2020, when these scoundrels stole the election from us like starving illegal aliens do one’s groceries haphazardly left on the back seat of their car.

No, these basura intrigantes got their guy into the White House and quite possibly, the Antichrist in there with him.  Kamala Harris, say what you will about the political hack, one day she will be calling the shots which is why we must fight back now, both on reopening our businesses and defending our guns.

Like you, my family and I spent all last year growing our collection of guns, ammo, and accessories just on the off chance that Joe Biden somehow won the election.  I mean no one thought he was going to win it because other than his Senate seat, he’s never won anything else.  He was like his vice president, he bowed out early in the running, went home to sulk and plot his revenge.

Well, he said he’s going to take our guns.  Thankfully, Kern County is an (undeclared) sanctuary county for guns in the Golden State.  We have a good sheriff.  Still, we can no longer take chances so I told family members to take my guns while I took some of theirs so when- or if- the gun grabbers come to the house seeking them, everyone on the block and in my family will tell them- without a shred of guilt- ‘someone stole our guns and we were just going to inform you of this travesty.”

Sure, they can come into the home and muck about but people that have old septic tanks or who have the ability to sink a chest into the backyard whereby to store their guns and ammo can do sans any accompanying fear.  You see, in the house, we have all manner of other weapons but nothing the cops or the National Guard will ever find which is good.  We either all stand together or we will all swing together and I have NO intention of dangling from a stink tree anytime soon.[i]

It also helps to have a good attorney as well as solid neighbors who all feel the same way.  We will continue with more tomorrow.

Muchas gracias, buen amigos!

As have the rest of my colleagues, local Bakersfield street artist, Simone, created these portraits of me that you will see over successive days here at the blog.  I guess Simone did ‘okay’ in capturing my likeness; I guess it could have been worse.  I was a young cook back in the early 1960’s when I commenced my culinary career.  I served underneath a Master Chef for many years before striking out on my own.  I went up the coast of the Western United States and Canada, working all the way, until I made it to Alaska.  From there, I moved to Hawaii for a couple of years (1994-1997) before I returned to Washington State and it was there that I met Stinkbug.

If the virus is as lethal as suggested, asking WHY we don’t scoop up- and treat- society’s victims, as well as to secure the border, is to be deported to the Kuiper Belt of the ‘new’ society

Friends, I honestly believe the coronavirus is not as dangerous as ‘our betters’ claim it is, thus why they maintain Vietnam War-era-like ‘body counts.’ Were it truly so big corporate retailers such as Walmart, Sam’s Club, K-Mart (if they still exist), Home Depot, Best Buy, and wherever else would be closed down just as are mom and pop businesses but that is not so- it’s very selective as to who and who cannot be open.

WINTER SESSION 2021

BLOG POST #3,754 AT THE AICP-END

DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2022: 637

A conservative asking WHY can be problematic for one’s societal health…

Ventura, CA 93003, 02-09-2021 Tuesday:  You know, folks, I was one of those who thought the Tampa Bay Bucs were going to win BIG in Super Bowl LV.   Thus, in my box score in our little in-house betting on the game, I proclaimed the final score would be Tampa Bay, 48, and Kansas City, 45, a combined total of 93 points, one of the all-time great Super Bowl shootouts.  Boy, did I blow that one.  I never anticipated the Chiefs were going to fold like an old accordion in a back street pawn shop but fold they did.  Still, with Patrick Mahomes coming off the concussion he suffered several weeks back, PLUS the turf toe, and Andy Reid’s son getting in the drunken driving accident, one that injured a woman and her kids, I am surprised it was not worse.  Still, I suspect we could see a rematch NEXT year and this time around, who the heck knows?[i]

Nearly a year ago, I asked a BIG QUESTION in my post of February 28, 2020: “IF the coronavirus is as bad as the Democrats have claimed it to be, WHY then are the Dems so opposed to securing borders, to scooping up the homeless, the drug-addicted, the winos, the mentally ill, and warehousing them in hospitals and treatment centers until we can get 75-percent or more to recover and become useful citizens once again?

Likewise, if the virus is as evil as the Dems claim it to be, why NOT use the virus as the EXCUSE to do what society once did and that is to clean the feces, urine, discarded needles, and now FACE MASKS that litter the streets so we can return an aura of public sanitation to cities in desperate need of it?[ii]

Now, I am sorry, I am going to say something that could get me banned from this point forward because ANYONE who asks the tough questions, “Why don’t we do this, why don’t we do that,” seemingly finds him-or-herself banned.  People Like Gateway Pundit founder Jim Hoft, writer Wayne Allyn Root,[iii] and loads of other people all suddenly find themselves persona no grata in this new hive mentality society all because they ask WHY?

Asking the question, “WHY,” is to be labeled a ‘conspiracy theorist,’ unless of course, one asks the question, “What are we going to do about that blasted WHITE SUPREMACISM THAT IS SYSTEMIC THROUGHOUT OUR ENTIRE SOCIETY?”  Losers like Chrome Dome and other communist members of the ‘Squad’ babble on and on about this load of claptrap.  It is an engineered attempt at targeting one segment of society so no one will ask the question, WHY?

Asking that question about WHITE SUPREMACISM is totally fine whereas asking “Why- during a worldwide pandemic local, state, federal, and international governments and NGOs tell us is as contagious as are head lice in an elementary school or bedbugs in an illegal alien neighborhood- don’t the homeless get the virus and thus infect everyone else with the Xi Jinping Bat Flu?”[iv]

To ask this is to be banned from ‘common hive-like groupthink’ to the far reaches of the social media solar system, like to the Kuiper Belt of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and elsewhere, all because you want an answer to a simple question, one you would think EVERY level of public health would be demanding answers.  At one time, they would have and no one would have called them, ‘bigots,’ ‘racists,’ ‘haters,’ or ‘xenophobes,’ because the questions would be asked on behalf of the American people.

Friends, I honestly believe the coronavirus is not as dangerous as ‘our betters’ claim it is, thus why they maintain Vietnam War-era-like ‘body counts.’[v]  Were it truly so big corporate retailers such as Walmart, Sam’s Club, K-Mart (if they still exist), Home Depot, Best Buy, and wherever else would be closed down just as are mom and pop businesses but that is not so- it’s very selective as to who and who cannot be open.[vi]

I will say this: I think COVID-19 is bogus, a scam, one ‘created’ in communist China and then sent around the world to wreak havoc.  The fact that the Chi-Coms are saying, “DON’T LOOK AT US BUT INVESTIGATE THE UNITED STATES,” tells us all we need to know.  This virus was cooked up like crack heads cook up a pot of crystal.  Both destroy society but the Chinese Virus sure as hell has destroyed our country so again, one must ask the question, “WHY?”

I believe the virus was cooked up to put in place the necessary foundation with which to beat Donald J. Trump.  That is the main reason.  The secondary reason was to accomplish what Cloward and Piven sought to bring about and that was the toppling of society to the point that the American people would beg their political betters- aka the Democrats and the RINOS- to step in and SAVE THEM.  Voila, we have the open door to socialism and job well done.

We will continue with this discussion throughout the week.  Although I might find myself banned, I will tell you this: I don’t give a f**k because where there’s a will, there’s a way and we will continue getting the word out.  You can count on it.

We continue offering CDs today by the greatest San Francisco band of all time, the Jefferson Airplane.  The band’s twenty-fourth album, “Last Flight,” hit record store shelves in 2007 and was the FULL farewell (although the band did not know it at the time) concert part of which, appeared on “Thirty Seconds over Winterland,” back in 1974.  The lineup was the final one that featured Grace Slick, Paul Kantner, John Barbata, Papa John Creech, Jorma Kaukonen, Jack Casady, and David Freiberg at the famed Winterland Arena in San Francisco, California.  This is a great CD and it is a shame that the Airplane did not manage to remain together as a cohesive unit in the same way that the Grateful Dead did.  Anyhow, we suggest—no, we urge you.—to take our link to Amazon.com so you can get it in the format, the condition, and the price that rocks your psychedelic socks.

ENDNOTES:

[i] I will admit, the game actually became pretty ugly as the Buccaneers were playing like, say, the Cincinnati Bengals playing the Pittsburgh Steelers, they were getting away with stuff whereas the Chiefs were getting called almost every other play.  Still, Tom Brady is in a class of his own and I don’t see him going anywhere anytime soon unless he ends up back in New England.  I cannot believe they didn’t fight harder to keep him rather than acquiring a now-shot Cam Newton.  Poor bastard.

[ii] This is the NUMBER ONE QUESTION few are asking.  Dems would have scooped these people up at one time whereas now, they seem to prefer to having lost souls wandering the nation.  However, the Chinese Virus is the PERFECT excuse for them to do the things they now don’t care to do so why are they not getting these poor, troubled souls and helping them become functioning members of society once again?  The virus would be the perfect excuse just as it would for finishing the border wall and for reestablishing an immigration system based upon letting in those who can help our country as opposed to those who seek to dilute and drain society.  The only reason they won’t do this is because they wish to reorder society, something believers in Agenda 21 fact or fiction point to as a sign of WHY we have all these open borders people in our government.

[iii] Both of whom Twitter banned on Sunday night for ‘CONSPIRACY THEORIES.’  Conspiracy theories are neat dismissals of anyone who asks the question, WHY does government do this, WHY does government do that, WHY won’t government do this or that, WHY, WHY, WHY?  QAnon is a conspiracy, believing the Chi-Coms and the Democrats colluded to beat Donald Trump, wondering why it seems that our government seeks to dilute society with people who will never become Americanized is to be accused of all sorts of evil and despicable things yet the Democrats pushed their ‘conspiracy theory’ of Trump-Russia collusion, one they, themselves, manufactured to good effect.  We must crush these people.

[iv] Many people have asked this question over the past year that finally, government seemed to listen to us and scooped them up and then dumped them in upscale hotels in big cities at taxpayers’ expense.  Once again, a kick in the teeth and still- once they dump them back in the streets, none of them will be the healthier for it while the hotel owners’ property is trashed.

[v] American troops fighting in Vietnam believed winning the war was by the numbers of enemy troops killed in action and the amount of enemy supplies confiscated.  Thus, as the war progressed and troops counted the dead on the battlefields, bodies, parts of bodies, civilians, and even animals were all counted so as to inflate the body count thus making it look like we were killing massive numbers of the enemy.  In truth, as many as we killed every year were replaced by nearly equal numbers of young men turning military age of 17 and 18 in North Vietnam.   We do the same thing with cases of the Wuhan Virus- you drive over a cliff and die but have COVID-19, you didn’t die from the auto accident, you died from the Bat Flu.  It’s all smoke and mirrors.

[vi] This is what my main point is- IF things were as bad as they say, would not these big box stores that are full of people be shut down like your small business and mine?  Does the disease NOT spread at Wal-Mart but it spreads in MY restaurant, church, or gym?  Friends, it’s a load of crap and the more you ask WHY, the more you see things for what they are.  It’s what drives them insane because once people ask these questions, we see that it’s all engineered for politics, just like keeping National Guard troops in Washington, D.C., fences around government buildings, and metal detectors at entry points to the House and Senate.  These people are liars.

DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2022: 648

Punishing one group of people for the sins of the past is insane yet that is where we are today…

Delano, CA 93216, 01-29-2021 Friday:  You know, here’s the deal- no matter what our feelings are regarding the tumultuous events of the past, uh, say- five-and-a-half-years, we will do our best to get with the plan even though the plan is one with which, most of us simply do not agree.  What we disagree with has nothing to do with race, it has nothing to do with sexual preference- although there is something regarding this topic we must discuss most likely tomorrow- nor with ethnicity.  It has nothing to do with legal immigrants no matter who they are, no matter where they originate, and no matter their religious faith of lack of it.

What it has to do with is the fact that the people who now lead the country don’t seem to like it very much.  It seems to many they detest it, they despise it, and that they want to destroy it completely and then resurrect it from the ashes as something brand-new, more in step with ‘modern times’ and ‘modern ways of thinking.’  These new founts of enormous wisdom, of blinding genius, and of great passion believe they can force the country to follow a new path that will make everything and everyone equal, fair, and that magic word equitable.  Equity is what it’s all about.[i]

The equity of which, President Joe Biden mumbles is a points system or perhaps, a modern-day CASTE SYSTEM- or so many believe- similar to what the communist Chinese implement to determine one’s ‘place’ within the modern society as envisioned by modern Marxist homo sapiens- which will help overturn the racial inequities of the past.

What I envision is that the groups government contends have been left out of the picture for far too long will be given points, points for being this skin color or that, this ethnic background or that, this religion or that religion, and this sexual preference or that.  Some will have greater points and others will have fewer, those who cross one intersection after another will have a vast wealth of ‘points’ while those blasé individuals who are WASPS- an old term, ‘White Anglo-Saxon Protestants,’ will have very few.[ii]

This means, the current ‘in-groups’ will have vast quantities of points, people like NON-citizens who truly should have NO points seeing as how they are not citizens, gays- the kinkier the better, and young multiracial left-wing youths while white folks will have very few.  In truth, they will have few to none.

When one talks about ‘white people,’ and his white his-or-herself, that automatically informs everyone else that one is an irredeemable racist.  Every other race, every other ethnicity, every other whatever can defend their GROUP but white people, oh, what a horrible racist you are for defending your group.

What makes all of this strange is that following the epic battles to deliver civil rights to black Americans in the 1960s, government at all levels attempted to make everything fairer, more equitable, and kind.  We had Equal Opportunity Acts, we had a vast slew of government programs at all levels to make things right and you know what, it was slow, it was arduous but through the 1980s, the 1990s, and into the 2000s, things were getting better, fairer, and everyone was intermixing, intermingling, and were comfortable in doing it.

This is why when Barack Obama became president, he was elected by vast numbers of white people who joined fellow citizens of all races to push Obama across the finish line, not once, but twice.  We had hope.  We had anticipation.  We thought here is a seemingly wonderful man who will bring us together and heal the remaining divisions among us.  Only, it did not happen that way.   It did not happen like that at all.

No, every criticism of the 44th president somehow became ‘racist,’ as though planned.  Anyone who disagreed with the agenda became a ‘racist.’  Nonwhite critics of President Obama were also racists, only worst, race traitors, sell-outs, it was ugly, it was unfair, and it set in motion the swift erasure of all the hard-fought progress since the 1960s.

In overturning the long history of accomplishments, the left was able to convince younger generations that we were back in the days of separate but equal, of Jim Crow, of ‘rampant cross burnings in the dead of night,’ and of lynching to the point that four decades after lynching ended, we suddenly required an anti-lynching bill.

The new president- much like his former boss did- believes there is great power in unending racial division, not in racial healing.  We know that one side- the left- seeks to exacerbate this never-healing wound, yanking the scab off time and again and pouring salt into it.  There is no reason for this yet this is what is happening.

This is where we will leave off for today.  We will pick back up tomorrow.

Pray for our country’s salvation.

We continue offering CDs today by the greatest San Francisco bands of all time, the Jefferson Airplane. The band’s thirteenth album, “Early Flight,” hit record store shelves in 1973 and featured “B” sides from singles and songs removed from albums. On this CD, you find the rare gems from the first couple of albums that did not make on them as well as classic tunes like “High Flying Bird,” “Mexico” and “Have you seen the Saucers?” We love this CD and highly recommend it to anyone who is a fan of the era and the band’s music.  It serves as a fine coda for one of the greatest bands of the psychedelic epoch.  By using he link we provide you here, you can visit Amazon.com and pick it up in the format, the condition, and the price that works best for you- it is a worthy addition to one’s growing CD collection.

ENDNOTES:

[i] Talking about ‘equity’ is a way by which, we can erase all the progress of the past half-century and start over.  We can indoctrinate the upcoming generations that the reason their lives are seemingly unhappy and that they have no future is because WHITE people are proponents of Climate Change, that they have done nothing to fix the problem when in fact, under the 45th president, CO2 emissions went way, way down- and without the Paris Climate Accord- because we moved away from coal to natural gas, a cleaner and cheaper form of energy.  They do this to blame the number one target group so as to deflect away from the fact that politicians- like eight years of the Obama-Biden administration- did little to fix the problems they constantly pointed out to the nation and the world.  They also seek to deflect away from global corporatism which is why it’s much more difficult to find jobs that pay well.  No, corporations seem to be in charge of the world just like science fiction movies of old and they are the ones calling the shots hence why they seemingly get onboard with seemingly crazy ideas.

[ii] At one time, so-called WASPS had much power whereas now as society has integrated and people have intermixed across racial and ethnic and even religious lines they in many ways are nonexistent.  White Catholics were as discriminated against as much as Latino Catholics but I suspect being a white Catholic will not be a saving grace for people in this category.  No, as I said earlier in the week, every illegitimate regime requires its fall guys.  The Nazis had Jews and the modern Democratic-Socialists have white males, especially those above a certain age.  I suspect with all the constant ongoing attacks on Caucasians, a time is going to arise when people will believe it’s okay to eradicate an entire race even though whites have progressed as much as have everyone, have intermarried, and had children with nonwhites, thus bringing about what the human race has long sought, a single, intermixed race of people.  This would be the desirable outcome but I fear there are far too many who seek to punish people of the present for the sins of the past.
