Trump if he moves forward with a replacement for U.S. Supreme Court Associate Ruth Bader Ginsburg who died Friday night from metastatic pancreatic cancer at age 87.  All news outlets- including Fox News Channel- accuse the GOP of hypocrisy for not bringing Barack Obama’s third U.S. Supreme Court pick Merrick Garland up for a vote in 2016.  What Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said in 2016 is the same as he said this year: when a president of a different party than the one controlling the Senate in an election year brings up a SCOTUS replacement, the party controlling the Senate does not normally approve one and put them on the court, going back as far as the late 1880’s.  This time around the Republican Party controls both the Senate and the White House so NO hypocrisy exists, yet the liberals continue screeching and howling that what POTUS is going to do is somehow ‘unconstitutional’ and ‘unfair.’  Folks the Democrats would do it in a heartbeat.

Lindsey Graham’s Senate committee on September 30, 2020, to answer questions about his behavior in the “Trump-Russia Collusion” scam.   Elsewhere, we learn in the BIG FIVE Democrat-controlled states in the U.S., unemployment runs rampant, the same states with governor-inflicted Wuhan Virus shutdowns.  In Washington state, the number is 10.3 percent.  In Oregon, it’s 10.4 percent.  In California, it’s 13.3 percent.  In Illinois, it’s 11.3 percent and in New York, the number is 15.9 percent.  Shame on you.  Reopen and give your people their lives back!

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

On occasions with other bands, we have done their videos and with Jethro Tull, we are going to finish off with as many of their videos that we can. Today, we have “Slipstream,” a video that came out on July 01, 1981, that featured music recorded during the “A” tour. The band features Ian Anderson (vocals, flutes, guitars, keyboards), Martin Barre (guitars), Dave Pegg (bass- Fairport Convention), Mark Craney (drums and percussion), and Eddie Jobson (electronic instruments/music). Some fans find this to be a perfect addition to the band’s catalog and some are disappointed. We tend to think ANY music from the band in any form is well worth having. We hope you will seek this one out and add it to your collection.

ENDNOTES:

[i] We will do the music of the Archies before we ever do the music of skanks such as Cardi B, Madonna, or any other of the current crop of female singers.

[ii] We began offering the music of the Doors on Saturday, 18-February-2012 and concluded them on Monday, 02-April-2012.  We encourage everyone to seek them out and consider adding them to your collection.

[iii] We began promoting the music of the Steve Miller Band beginning on Wednesday, 27-July-2011 through Wednesday, 24-August-2011 and then did a second stint on Sunday, 20-April-2014.  We hope you will check the music of this amazing San Francisco, California, acid-rock blues band.

[iv] Sadly, little Ms. Greta Thunberg is a perfect example of an indoctrinated leftist, frightened into believing that CLIMATE CHANGE is something caused by humans.  Any person who has ever taken a university-level geography class understands that the Sun is the number one driver of all things to do with climate and on every planet in the Solar System that has one, every satellite that has one.  The amount (or lack) of solar flares, sunspots, and the intensity or lessening of the solar winds understands that these are the driving forces of climate change.  We can combat pollution and maintain a pristine environment but we cannot control how hot or cool the summers are or vice versa what the winters are.  Stop scaring people you flipping left-wing climate activists!

262. TODAY IN HISTORY—SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 19, 2021

EEE. 2020 Saturday: Already tensions are growing as to whom will replace Associate Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg on the U.S. Supreme Court. This is what most of the AICPENDBLOG.COM believe: after what the Democrats and the RINOS have put you through what with the false claims of Russian collusion, impeachment, and roadblocks at every turn, nominate the replacement on Monday and go for it. As for quavering GOP senators, do you want to go down as a FIGHTER and lose your seat or as a COLLABORATIONIST and perhaps lose your seat anyway?

  57. 2020 Saturday:  Already tensions are growing as to whom will replace Associate Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg on the U.S. States with messed-up elections systems such as California and Maine must contest these bogus systems at the Supreme Court and the only way we can win is with a strong conservative on the court.  Republicans, do your duty as you know the Democrats would not waver in doing theirs and in fact would hasten it as quickly as possible.   President Trump is down in North Carolina today while “Pro-China Joe” Biden is at home in his basement.  Elsewhere, a shooting at a party with 100 revelers or more in Buffalo, New York claims the life of one partygoer and injures four others.   Speaking of SCOTUS, Fox News Channel reports (erroneously, in our view) that voters trust “Pro-China Joe” Biden on picking Supreme Court nominees by a whopping 52 percent to 45 percent for Donald Trump.  Yup, sure they do…sure they do…

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

Over the course of Jethro Tull’s lengthy lifespan, Jethro Tull has delivered loads of performances, most of which have ended up in bootleg form over the decades.  Today, we have “At the Turn of the Page,” (July 28, 2020), that presents one famed live show for the fans.  The band features Ian Anderson (vocals, flutes, guitars, keyboards), Martin Barre (guitars), Glenn Cornick (bass), John Evan (keyboards), and Clive Bunker (drums).  If you want to hear the band during its rise to popularity riding this is a good album with which to do it.  We hope you will seek this one out and consider adding it to your collection- you will be glad you did.

Bennie Thompson, D-LA, says he sent a subpoena to acting Homeland Security Director Chad Wolf demanding he appear before the committee to answer questions on September 17.  Acting Secretary Wolf says he ‘will be happy to do so but first, he has to undergo the confirmation process so he can sit before them as the DHS director.
  60. 2020 Sunday C: The Chi-Coms are sniveling and whining that ‘President Trump is the fomenter of regional unrest in Asia.’  Wah, wah, wah, no wonder the Chinese Communist Party is supporting the campaign of “Pro-China Joe” Biden and Willie Brown’s ‘mattress,’ Sen. Kamala Harris.  The Chi-Coms are supporting Biden, the Russians are supporting Biden, the Iranians are supporting Biden, the Cubans are supporting Biden, hell, every country that hates the United States is supporting “Pro-China Joe” Biden- what does that tell you?  Elsewhere, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson says ‘legislation is required’ to negotiate a free-trade deal with the European Union whom the PM says is threatening to blockade the Irish Sea.  WTF?  Finally, the western United States continues burning, homes are destroyed, people are dying all because the three governors of California, Oregon, and Washington won’t do proper forestry management.  Read tomorrow’s post in which, Chef Gervais says it’s because their retirement programs for public employees suck up approximately 90% of each state’s budget so it’s burn baby burn.
  61. 2020 Sunday D: Today is the first Sunday of the NFL’s 101st season.  Here are the current scores: (1) Seattle Seahawks 38, Atlanta Falcons 25.  (2) Buffalo Bills 27, New York Jets 17.  (3) Chicago Bears 27, Detroit Lions 23.  (4) New England Patriots 21, Miami Dolphins 11.  (5) Washington REDSKINS 27, Philadelphia Eagles 17.  (6) Baltimore Ravens 38, Cleveland Browns 6.  (7) Green Bay Packers 43, Minnesota Vikings 34.  (8) Jacksonville Jaguars 27, Indianapolis Colts 20.   (9) New Orleans Saints 34, Tampa Bay Buccaneers 23 (we predict a few more losses for the Bucs and Brady and Gronk will sign one day contracts with the New England Patriots so they can retire in Patriot uniforms).  (10) San Diego Chargers 16, Cincinnati Bengals 13.  (11) Arizona Cardinals 24, San Francisco 49ers 20.  (12) Oakland Raiders 34, Carolina Panthers 31.  Sunday Night Football: (13) Los Angeles Rams 20, Dallas Cowboys 17.
  62. 2021 Monday:  You know the score: every day we await to see what the Chi-Com overlords and their stooges the Democratic Party have done today.  Stay tuned…also, tonight we have the first Monday Night Football game of the season: Baltimore Ravens @ the Las Vegas Raiders.

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

The next ‘Jethro Tull’ album to come out was “A,” which hit record store shelves on September 01, 1980.  Today’s offering is “A (A La Mode) 40th Anniversary Collector’s Edition” which came out on February 17, 2021.  Undisputed leader of Jethro Tull- Ian Anderson- meant this album to be a SOLO effort but record companies being what they are, said, ‘whoa, hold on there, we want this to be the next Jethro Tull album and thus it was.  The band featured Ian Anderson (vocals, flutes, guitars, keyboards), Martin Barre (guitars), Dave Pegg (bass- Fairport Convention) and Mark Craney (drums and percussion).  Ian Anderson said he never meant to replace the lineup of musicians from the earlier years but since this was a SOLO album and since the record company said it ‘must be a Jethro Tull album,’ the classic lineup was out the door and gone- even though some such as Barriemore Barlow were going to leave anyway due to changes in musical direction.  Ah, well, it is what it is, please seek it out and give it a good listen- we think you will enjoy it because of all the extras added for the diehard fans to enjoy.

TODAY IN HISTORY—SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 13, 2020

Democratic Socialists use Critical Race Theory as a rusty razor blade with which, to tear the fabric of America asunder which is why we must re-elect President Trump so we can stop it

ENDNOTES:

[i] We will present the music of Chicago sometime in 2030 so we hope you will remain with us until then.

[ii] We began promoting the music of Foghat, one of the all-time greatest rock bands to explode out of England, beginning on Monday, 18-February-2018 through Monday, 19-March-2018.  We hope you will seek the music of this celebrated group out by checking out the blog posts on those dates.

[iii] Not exactly sure when we will begin promoting the music of Black Sabbath but when we do, we will definitely follow them with AC/DC, the wild and wooly and definitely demonic Australian rock band.

[iv] When the time will be right for the presentation of Elvis Presley is unknown but if we are still going strong in the 2030s, we expect to do so.  Please, stay tuned.

[v] We promoted the music of the Who and of its individual band members beginning on Monday, 03-August-2015 through Sunday, 29-November-2015.  We hope you will seek out the music of this veteran British band as well as of Pete Townsend, John Entwistle, Keith Moon, and Roger Daltrey.  We know you will enjoy them.

[vi] We began promoting the music of both the Beatles and the band’s individual components on Friday, 04-November-2016 through Sunday, 11-June-2018.  Besides the Beatles, we also promoted the music of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, and George Harrison as well as the Traveling Wilburys.

[vii] Tupac Shakur?  It could be 40 years before we begin promoting the music of rappers.  Please join us every day for that glorious day- you will be glad you did but NO Eminem. Fuck him- he hates his mother.

[viii] Many educated people believe that these so-called migrants are the advance waves of a Muslim invading army designed to bring Western Civilization down by overrunning Europe.  It must stop and it has to stop; otherwise, the world will transform into something it was never intended to be: Sharia-ruled slave states with despots at the top.

FOLKS, JOE HAS GOT TO GO- NOW!

Maybe all it took for Matthew Stafford was a change in teams…he won the first game of the season with the Los Angeles Rams…is Stafford Super Bowl bound?  We will wait and see…

Folks, it’s the first weekend of the 2021-2022 NFL Season, no telling what is going to happen. Let us hope Joe Biden’s dictatorial bull crap does not shut this season down prematurely, this man has no clue as to what he is doing and the American people should tell Joe, “Hell, no, Joe, we are not doing what YOU demand of us and we want YOU to go. Now.”

JJJ. 2018 Wednesday: In the first vote of its kind, the European Parliament votes to hold Hungary accountable for un-democratic actions, most likely over that country trying to stem the tidal wave of Muslim ‘refugees and migrants’ who are trekking up the backroads of Eastern Europe on the way to Germany where Angela Merkel welcomes them with open arms. Don’t give in, Hungary!

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

Over the course of Jethro Tull’s lengthy lifespan, Jethro Tull has delivered loads of performances, most of which have ended up in bootleg form over the decades.  Today, we have “Live at the Newport Pop Festival 1969,” (February 16, 2021), that presents one famed live show for the fans.  The band features  Ian Anderson (vocals, flutes, guitars, keyboards), Martin Barre (guitars), Glenn Cornick (bass, harmonicas, and keyboards), and Clive Bunker (drums).  If you want to hear the band during its rise to popularity, this is a good album with which to do it.  We hope you will seek this one out and consider adding it to your collection- you will be glad you did.

  58. 2017 Saturday: Hurricane Harvey spun into Texas, unloading extraordinary amounts of rain.  The hurricane would kill 68 people as well as damage more than 300,000 structures at an estimated cost of $125 billion.  Elsewhere, Iraq’s military said it had driven Islamic State aka Da’ish or ISIS out of 90 percent of the northern town of Tal Afar.  Meanwhile, Floyd Mayweather Jr. beats UFC fighter Conor McGregor in a boxing match in Las Vegas that was stopped by the referee in the 10th round; it was the last fight of Mayweather’s career and it earned him an estimated $200 million.
  59. 2018 Sunday: In the fist papal visit to Dublin, Ireland, since 1979, Pope Francis asks forgiveness in a speech on child abuse within the Catholic Church.   Meanwhile, new president of Zimbabwe Emmerson Mnangagwa takes the oath of office.
  60. 2019 Monday: In the first trial against a large drug manufacturer with a BIG HAND in the ongoing opioid crisis, a judge orders Johnson & Johnson to fork out $572 million.  Elsewhere, in Biarritz, France, a meeting of the G7 nations agrees to pay $20 million (such a paltry amount) to help fight the horrifying forest fires devouring the Amazonian rainforest.   Meanwhile, American movie star Leonardo DiCaprio and his environmental group Earth Alliance says he- and it- will pay $5 million which is a BIG SLAP in the face to the G7 leaders.
  61. 2020 Wednesday: Basement-dwelling “Pro-China Joe” Biden says the Republican National Convention is an ‘alternate reality.’  His good pal, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi mumbles that the House will investigate Secretary of State Mike Pompeo’s speech from Jerusalem the previous night as some sort of illegal speech.  Speaking of angry Democrats, BIG LOSER Hillary Rodham Clinton continues telling the Biden campaign “Not to concede under any circumstances on Election Day” as she believes ‘he will eventually win.”  Four years ago, she was blasting Donald J. Trump for saying he would have to ‘wait and see’ before accepting the results of the 2016 Presidential Election.  My, how times have changed.  Meanwhile, Democrats continue attacking First Lady Melania Trump for ‘not being able to speak English when she gave her speech in the White House rose garden the previous night.’  Well, many believe it’s better to have a first lady with an accent than one with a swinging dill pickle like the prior one.  Add to this the fact that Rep. Adam Schiff, D-CA, is attempting to take a second bite at the apple by demanding Deutsche Bank hand over President Trump’s financial records.   Finally, Democrats are beginning to express their dissatisfaction with “Pro-China Joe” Biden’s ‘basement strategy.’  Hell, we could have told you he wasn’t going to win if he continues on addressing the nation from his bunker.
  62. 2020 Wednesday A: In the Gulf of Mexico, Hurricane Laura is expected to be a Cat 4 storm when it makes landfall some time tomorrow along the Texas-Louisiana coastlines with winds up to 115 mph, 15-20 feet of storm surge, and hitting up to 60 miles inland.  In Texas, 420,000 people are evacuating as are between 200,000-250,000 people in Louisiana.  God help them.  Meanwhile, in California, wildfires have ravaged more than 36.5 million acres, an area more than 6-times the size of New York City.  Already, at least 7 lives have been lost as have countless homes and businesses.  Speaking of lost lives, after two nights of hardcore rioting and looting in Kenosha, Wisconsin, over the shooting of Jacob Blake, gunfire kills 2 and injures at least one.  Police have dragnets out for the shooters as more National Guard troops AND federal law enforcement officers arrive on scene.  Speaking of RIOTS, after 90 straight days of violent protests- and five straight nights of called ‘riots’ in Portland, Oregon, Gov. Kate Brown demands it STOPS NOW.  The Trump administration wants to send in troops and is pushing the Democrat governor to accept them.  (If you want our opinion- and we know you do, otherwise you would not be here, it’s time to round up ALL rioters and commit a Malmedy Massacre on them).  Elsewhere- on the other side of the planet- in response to a U2 surveillance flight over territory the Chi-Coms claim is their own, the Chi-Com military fires off two missiles a la North Korean-style as a form of ‘protest.’  F**k them!
  63. 2020 Wednesday B: Here are tonight’s speakers at the Republican National Convention: Lara Trump, Trump campaign senior advisor, Vice President Mike Pence, Second Lady Karen Pence, Sen. Marsha Blackburn, R-TN, Sen. Joni Ernst, R-IA, Gov. Kristi Noem, R-SD, Rep. Dan Crenshaw, R-TX, Rep. Elise Stefanik, R-NY, Rep. Lee Zeldin, R-NY, former DNI and current RNC Advisor Rick Grenell, and outgoing White House Senior Advisor Kellyanne Conway.  Also speaking tonight are former Lt. Gen. Keith Kellogg, National Security Advisor to Vice President Pence, retired NFL player Jack Brewer, GOP congressional candidate Madison Cawthorn, R-NC, former NFL player and current congressional candidate for Utah Burgess Owens, Michael McHale, president of National Association of Police Organizations, Associated Contract Loggers and Truckers of Minnesota Executive Director Scott Dane, and Sister Dede Byrne, medical surgeon and member of Little Workers of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary, and of course, possible others such as civil rights icon Clarence Henderson.  Meanwhile, Carly Fiorina tells Fox News Channel’s Neil Cavuto that she will be voting for “Pro-China Joe” Biden.  Go figure.  It’s the FACE!  Finally, the U.S. Department of Justice orders four states- New Jersey, New York, Michigan, and Pennsylvania to hand over all records related to their states sending COVID-19-infected patients into rest homes where vulnerable older citizens resided.  The death toll was horrendous among these people in each of these states.  Speaking of COVID-19, here’s today’s numbers:
  64. 2020 Wednesday C: Here are today’s Xi Jinping Bat Flu Statistics for the globe: 24,011,502 confirmed cases, UP by 316,856 cases, 821,809 confirmed deaths, UP by 7,555 deaths, and 15,636,116 confirmed recoveries, UP by 255,012 recoveries.  Here are the numbers for the United States: 5,899,331 confirmed cases, UP by 49,053 new cases, 181,791 confirmed deaths, UP by 1,416 new deaths, and 3,002,904 confirmed recoveries, UP by 22,300 new recoveries.  (The number of recoveries would be even greater if Blue State governors would report them but alas, we know they won’t- corrupt c**ksuckers).
  65. 2020 Wednesday D: Next, in the three states in which, the world-famous American Institute of Culinary Politics-The Elemental News of the Day employs chef-authors, California, Hawaii, and Washington, here are the stats, Golden State first: 679,099 confirmed cases, 12,407 confirmed deaths, but as is the norm, NO mention of confirmed recoveries.  Next, here are the stats for the Aloha State: 6,984 confirmed cases, 49 confirmed deaths, and 2,236 confirmed recoveries.  Finally, in the Ever-Red, uh, we mean, the Evergreen State, here are the stats: 71,904 confirmed cases, 1,876 confirmed deaths, but like California, the palooka-faced governor, Jay Inslee, won’t share the number of confirmed recoveries.  Shame on these flipping Democrats.  Let’s take a look at one more state, New Mexico: 24,732 confirmed number of cases, 755 confirmed number of deaths, but unlike other Blue State locales, there are 12,193 confirmed recoveries in the state.
  66. 2020 Wednesday E: Here are today’s Stock Market closes: DOW Jones Industrial Average: 28,331.92, UP 83.48 points (+0.30%).  Next, the NASDAQ: 11,656.06, UP 198.59 points (+1.73%).  Finally, here are the stats for the S&P 500: 3,478.73, UP 35.11 points (+1.02%).  The price of GOLD is $1,961.30 per troy oz., +8.80 (+0.45%) while the price of SILVER is $27.49 per troy ounce, +0.041 (+0.15%).  The price of PLATINUM is $945.90 per troy oz, +6.10 (+0.65%) while the price of COPPER is $2.98 per pound, +0.0145 (+0.49%).  The price of Light Sweet Crude Oil is $43.35 per barrel, -0.04 (-0.09%).  Currently, one-dollar U.S. = 6.89 Chi-Com yuan.   Meanwhile, one-dollar U.S. = 0.84 euros.
  67. 2020 Wednesday F: Tucker Carlson reports on his show that one of the candidates for district attorney in Los Angeles is San Francisco District Attorney George Gascon, someone supported by Governor Gavin “The Nazi” Newsom who wants to abolish all jails and prisons as well as disband the police.  He also reports the truth that the upheavals in the United States are not ‘race-based’ but ‘class-based,’ the classic Marxist assault on society.   It is clear to many that this election is one in which FREEDOM goes up against COMMUNISM which means we have one choice and one choice only: DEFEAT the Democrats and everyone connected to them.  Thank you, Democratic-Socialist Party of America- the DSPA- the NEW Democratic Party, you have sold your souls and you are making it easier for us to crush you.
  68. 2021 Thursday: It looks like it’s going to be one hell of a week what with the crumbling environment in Afghanistan, the Democrats trying to shove communism down our throats, and a doddering old fool in the White House who has no business being there.  The sooner President Donald J. Trump returns to the White House, the sooner all of us will be able to get a good night’s rest.  Remember, buy those My Pillows from Mike Lindell, that man is a flipping patriot.  God bless America.

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

Fans of Jethro Tull love guitarist Martin Barre because he continues the great band’s music with his own touches as he continues plowing ahead.  His new album, “Order of Play,” came out on August 25, 2014, and is a delightful addition to both his solo repertoire and to Jethro Tull’s interconnected discography.  The band features Mr. Barre (guitars, mandolins, banjos, flutes, and keyboards), Dan Crisp (guitars and vocals), George Lindsey (drums and percussion), Richard Beesly (saxophones and clarinets) and Alan Bray (bass, vocals).  We love the man, his band, and his music so folks, please seek this one out, give it a good listen, and consider adding it to your growing collection of nothing but the absolute best in rock music.

ENDNOTES:

[i] We hope to present the music of this UK space rock band, Hawkwind, sometime in the next five years or so.  Please remain vigilant for additional information.

[ii] We began promoting the music of the Velvet Underground starting on Tuesday, 18-March-2014 through Wednesday, 09-April-2014.  At the time we promoted this famous New York City rock band, we failed to share the music of the man himself, Lou Reed.  We hope to rectify that mistake when we return to promoting American bands again.  Thank you for your patience.

[iii] We began offering the music of Jethro Tull, Blodwyn Pig, Ian Anderson, Mick Abrahams, Wild Turkey, Martin Barre, and Paris beginning on Monday, May 24, 2021, and at present is still ongoing.

[iv] We are not sure when we will begin promoting the music of the legendary Motown groups but when we do, we will present the music of ALL of them.

[v] When we promote the music of the Allman Brothers Band, we will also promote the music of Gov’t Mule.  Stay tuned.

WE THANK EVERYONE FOR JOINING US AT WORDPRESS.COM AND FOR AIDING US IN CONTINUING TO DO THE WORK WE TOOK UPON OURSELVES MORE THAN A DECADE AGO
