215. TODAY IN HISTORY—WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 03, 2022

2022 Wednesday: Many pundits are speculating as to the REAL REASON for U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s visit to Taiwan. Sure, American politicians should be able to travel wherever and whenever they wish without being fearful of communist thugs like communist China or fascist hoodlums like Russia. Some such as Tucker Carlson, Eric Bolling, Chris Salcedo, and others speculate as to whether “Mumbles” Pelosi’s ill-timed visit is a false flag so the Chi-Coms can snatch up the islands to the west of Taiwan with which to then launch an invasion of Taiwan?

  78. 2021 Tuesday P: Political News III– President Donald J. Trump’s attorney says that the Department of Justice ordering the Internal Revenue Service to hand over his client’s tax returns to the cretins in the U.S. Congress is occurring sans any evidence of wrongdoing.   Next, that crackpot scarecrow loser in the U.S. Senate- Elizabeth Warren, DS-MA,- says that ‘GOP voting laws are somehow connected to abortion.’  Say the flip what?  This woman is an angry loser.  Elsewhere, Governor J.B. Pritzker, DS-IL, says he is going to ‘enforce background checks on private gun sales.’  You should have been doing that already.  Moving on, the U.S. Senate voted to award ‘gold medals’ to the Capitol Hill cops who were at the Capitol on January 06, 2021.  What a load of crap.
  79. 2021 Tuesday Q: Political News IV– Grant Stinchfield of Newsmax lambasted the 18 Republicans who eagerly signed onto the $1.3 trillion ‘infrastructure bill.’  Again, here they are: Roy Blunt, R-MO; Richard Burr, R-NC; Shelley Moore Capito, R-WV; Bill Cassidy, R-LA; Mike Crapo; R-ID, James Risch, R-ID; Thom Tillis; R-NC; Todd Young, R-IN; Mike Rounds, R-SD; John Hoeven, R-ND, Kevin Cramer, R-ND; Lisa Murkowski, R-AK; Rob Portman, R-OH; Mitt Romney, R-UT; Susan Collins, R-ME; Chuck Grassley, R-IA; Lindsey Graham, R-SC; and “Cocaine Mitch” McConnell, R-KY.  Here is some more of the crap contained within the ‘infrastructure bill’- $16.3 billion for ‘renewable energy’ program; $250 million for invasive plant elimination (how about for invasive human beings’ elimination, i.e., ILLEGAL ALIENS?), and $10 million per year for Motor Vehicle per-mile user fee program.  So now, the American people will be taxed per mile by local, state, and federal government?  There will be a new industry just as there is now with the manufacturing of vaccination ID cards, one in which, odometers will be reset and reset.
  80. 2021 Tuesday R: Political News V– Tucker Carlson reported tonight from Budapest, Hungary, that the New York Times- the so-called ‘paper of record’- received millions of dollars from communist China to shill for the thugs in Beijing.  Islands that belong to Japan, they claimed belonged to the Chi-Coms as well as did everything to trash anyone who said that the Xi Jinping Bat Flu came from the Wuhan Institute of Virology was ‘xenophobic,’ a ‘racist,’ and/or a ‘bigot.’  Mr. Carlson said that the New York Times was not the only ‘news outlet’ to take Chi-Com yuan and then lie their asses off about anything their Beijing masters ordered them to do.  Wow.  Hence, ‘Chi-Coms good, Wuhan lab ‘innocent,’ and Donald J. Trump a ‘big, fat, evil racist.’  What a load of crap.
  81. 2021 Tuesday S: U.S. Senate News I– The U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee finally is seeking to repeal the 2002 use of military force in Iraq powers they gave to President George W. Bush.  Interested observers ask what took you so long to do this?  You should never have bestowed those powers on President Bush.  The AICPENDBLOG.COM believes, however, that the Deep State forced Bush’s hand into invading Iraq so everyone could rake in lots of bucks while then using the exact same war powers act to trash Bush #43.
  82. 2021 Tuesday T: Business News– In various parts of the United States, McDonalds Restaurants will require both employees and customers to mask up or to go across the street to Burger King.   Restaurants in New York City are going to require that ALL customers- with the blessings of outgoing NYC Mayor Bill “Bag O’ Fries” Di Blasio- to show proof of vaccination, i.e., show their papers, otherwise, they cannot enter, sit down, and eat.  It would appear that the government is going to have private businesses do their dirty work just as they require employers to deduct payroll taxes from their workers’ salaries and then hand them over to government apparatchiks.  Well, there will always be restaurants that welcome all diners so it is important that we share names and locations in the same ways that hoboes of old shared whose house would provide one a meal and which house would not.
  83. 2021 Tuesday U: Special Election News– Tonight in the GOP primary race in Ohio’s 15th CD in a race to fill the vacant seat of former Rep. Steve Stivers, Donald J. Trump-backed candidate Mike Carey won big time.  Meanwhile, on the Democratic side of the aisle, state Rep. Allison Russo was projected to win the Democratic nomination.  The general election will be this November.  And they say Trump-backed candidates can’t win.  You win some, you lose some and Barack Hussein Obama has lost almost every endorsement he ever made- “Loser” with a capital “L.”
  84. 2021 Tuesday V: Crime and Punishment News-Law Enforcement News I– New York Attorney General Leticia James released the results of the probe into Governor Andrew “Killer” Cuomo aka the Love Gov aka the Gropin’ Gov and none of it looked good.  She would not commit to prosecuting the immoral chief executive and left it for others to do.  New York state Lt. Governor Kathy Hochul, Democrat, said today “NO one is above the law.”  Later in the day, Joe Biden called for the Empire State governor to ‘step down’ for his reprobate activities as did House Speaker Nancy “Mumbles” Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader “Cryin’ Chuck” Schumer.   Rep. Elise Stefanik, R-NY 21st CD, called for the ‘immediate arrest’ of the immoral governor on grounds of criminal sexual harassment.  Good.  Lock him up.
  85. 2021 Tuesday W: Crime and Punishment News-Law Enforcement News II– However, Joe Biden is so out of it that he did not realize that as he was calling on his fellow Democratic-Socialist to step down, he opened the door for others to demand Mr. Biden step down due to his LONG HISTORY of groping, grabbing, smooching, rubbing, and saying all sorts of suggestive and disturbing things.  What is clear, too, is that AG James lacks the balls to pursue her boss, Governor “Killer” Cuomo.   Elsewhere, Missouri Governor Mike Parson has officially pardoned Mark and Patricia McCloskey for their ‘gun crimes convictions’ of last year.  Excellent.
  86. 2021 Tuesday X: Mass Shootings News– Two employees were wounded in a warehouse shooting in Tennessee.  Cops responding on scene shot the shooter.  Elsewhere, after some shots were fired outside the Pentagon, the entire facility went on lockdown.  It seems the bravest of the brave had to cower in fear inside the walls of America’s defense epicenter.   Apparently, a law enforcement officer may have lost his life in the incident.  Jihad?  White Supremacism?  Black Lives Matter?  Angry lover?  We don’t know.
  87. 2021 Tuesday Y: Big Tech News– Senator Rand Paul, R-KY, slams YouTube for its censorship of free speech and urges users to find alternative sites to share their views.
  88. 2021 Tuesday Z: California State News– Backers of Recall Governor Gavin Newsom are seeking to block language on the upcoming recall ballot that the effort to cleanse California of Governor Gavin “The Nazi” Newsom is a ‘power grab by the GOP.  Governor Newsom, people from across the political spectrum are banding together to get YOU out of office just as they did with Governor Gray Davis, another corrupt Democrat governor.
  89. 2021 Tuesday AA: California Lottery Results-Mega-Millions Draw– Here are the results for the Mega-Millions Draw #1682 what with a $179 million jackpot on the line: 01, 09, 17, 27, 34, and Mega 24.  Out of 73,454 winning tickets in California, the highest winner was ONE person who had FIVE numbers BUT NO MEGA for a prize of $1,091,799.  The winning ticket was sold at the Cortesia Market in Pacoima, CA 91331.
  90. 2022 Wednesday: Many pundits are speculating as to the REAL REASON for U.S. Anything is indeed possible in this world and some such as my family and me see signs of the End Times on the horizon.  One cannot make this stuff up.  No, all one need do is to read the Holy Bible.  Still, after all the suffering, the death, and the destruction, we will win.  That is the promise of GOD.  Chef Hector Santanamos “El Chilte” De Soto.

BEVERLY CARRICK ORIGINAL ARTWORK OF THE DAY:

This artwork is #0911 a 16” x 20” original oil painting by Beverly Carrick, which, she entitled, “Poppies and Smoke Trees.”  It is among her more beautiful works and is available for sale.  You can see much more of her work at her website, found at beverlycarrick.com.  At her website, you will see not only more original oil paintings but also lithographs, giclees, prints, miniatures, photographs, and even her award-winning instructional video entitled, “Painting the Southwest with Beverly Carrick.”  For more than 60 years- up until her untimely death from cancer in 2012- Bev stood before the easel and painted for 10-12 hours per day. Known around the world for both the beauty and timelessness of her artworks, her paintings are in demand as much today as they were 30 years ago.  Hanging in private and public galleries and followed by many fans encircling the globe—her works instill awe because of her artistic brilliance and personal beauty.  We urge you to go to her website NOW and view her stunning body of work, one the Chi-Coms have long tried to copy and sell facsimiles of but which none of them have ever been able to reproduce well enough to fool novice art buyers.  Once there, it is possible that you will find something you like and will want to buy it for yourself, a friend, a loved one, or a neighbor- virtually anyone.  You will not be disappointed so please: do yourself a favor and go there as quickly as your fingers can tap the letters on your keyboard.  The American Institute of Culinary Politics-Elemental News of the Day, aka the AICPENDBLOG.COM, thanks each and every one of you, our beloved, loyal fan base.  DON’T buy any counterfeit bull crap coming out of mainland communist China, especially from Xinjiang Province, ground zero for Chi-Com National Socialism.

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

The Beach Boys released their next live album, “Songs from Here and Back,” a special release album that came out on May 15, 2006, one that came out from Hallmark for two months back in the day.  This is rather a hodgepodge of tunes, most of the live ones from 1989- two from back in 1974- as well as three solo studio tunes, one from Brian Wilson, one from Mike Love, and one from Alan Jardine.  You get the lineup back in 1989- Brian Wilson, Carl Wilson, Mike Love, Bruce Johnston, and Alan Jardine- plus the longtime Beach Boys backup band, the one that provides the background on the road.  The two from 1974 feature Dennis Wilson and Ricky Fataar in the mix while the solo studio recordings feature a variety of accompanying musicians.  IF you can find this one, it’s a worthy addition to one’s collection and if you can’t, well, it is what it is.  Enjoy.

[vii] Many believe Barack Obama should be disqualified as a president because most believe he was born outside the United States which would ban him from ever seeking the highest office in the land.  At the very least, an asterisk should be placed by his name in all U.S. history books.

  51. 2006 Monday: Illegal aliens across the United States take to the streets protesting a new bill, H.R. 4437 which would transform all illegal aliens in the country into felons.  Question: if hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens can pour out of the shadows and roam the streets, why are Border Patrol officers out there scooping them up, putting them in cages, and then deporting them back to whence the f**k they came?  This is what nations that love themselves do.  DO IT NOW.
  52. 2007 Tuesday: The U.S. government authorizes nearly $60 million for the Palestinian Authority.  How about this: how about NOT giving them the money?  They use it to commit terrorist attacks on Israel, not for the betterment of their people.  Elsewhere, all hell is breaking out in Baghdad.  The U.S. and Iraqi forces are fighting terrorists and scumbags and are planning to construct a wall around the Sunni neighborhoods in the capital city seeing as how much of the terrorism is coming from the Shia majority.
  53. 2008 Thursday: In Kandahar, Afghanistan, a NATO convoy patrolling the area encounters suicide bombers driving a truck.  The resulting explosion kills at least 8 civilians on the road.
  54. 2009 Friday: Today is a bad day for tornadoes in the Deep South: at least 27 roar through several states claiming the lives of several people and leaving trails of devastation.  Global Warming?  Sure.  Definitely.  Good to get ahead of the leftists.
  55. 2010 Saturday: Bronislaw Komorowski becomes acting president of Poland after a plane carrying top Polish officials and President Lech Kaczynski crashes, leaving no survivors.  The aircraft crashed near Smolensk, Russia, and many people believe because he was an ardent critic of Russia that Putin may have had something to do with it.  Elsewhere, for the first time in 10 years, the Shroud of Turin goes on display.
  56. 2011 Sunday: Following a show in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, the band U 2’s[v] tour, 360 degrees, becomes the highest grossing music tour of all time.  Elsewhere, the People’s Republic of China reports its first trade deficit in six years blaming the rising costs of commodities.
  57. 2012 Tuesday: The American company Apple, Inc. announces it is worth over $600 billion dollars, making the technology company the largest in the world by market capitalization.  Meanwhile, in the GOP presidential primary race, Senator Rick Santorum suspends his candidacy on this date which leaves Gov. Mitt Romney the overwhelming favorite to win the nomination to contest Barack Hussein Obama for the White House.
  58. 2013 Wednesday: The United States, Jordan, and Canada boycott a meeting of the U.N. General Assembly organized by former Serbian foreign minister, Vuk Jeremic.  Meanwhile, tensions on the Korean Peninsula continue to rise as South Korea and the United States raise threat levels and the People’s Republic of China and North Korea clamp down on border crossings.  This is back when the PRC was sort of working with regional countries and the U.S. to contend with North Korea’s nuclear ambitions.
  59. 2014 Thursday: The head of Tesla Motors, Elon Musk, announces that his company will begin selling its luxury electric cars in China later this month.  Meanwhile, around Aleppo, Syria, home of ISIS, 88 people die and scores of others are injured when the Syrian air force drops a series of barrel bombs on the city.  This of course drives liberals loony tunes as they think the use of barrel bombs is somehow a horrible thing.  Look, killing people is a horrible thing, what difference does it make if barrel bombs do the killing or President Barack Hussein Obama indiscriminately drones people all over the world sans any type of trial?
  60. 2015 Friday: As ISIS continues spreading terror throughout the Middle East, jihadists in Baghdad carry out a suicide bombing killing several people and wounding loads of others.  It appears that President Barack Obama has no ideas as how to combat this evil scourge of jihad evil.  We say, “Neutron bomb.  Painless.  Simple.  Quick.  Cheap.”
  61. 2016 Sunday: Three bigwigs of the pro-Democracy movement in Hong Kong- Agnes Chow, Nathan Law, and Joseph Wong form a new political movement to fight for the freedom of their fellow Hong Kongese from communist China.  Meanwhile, as the international committee led by U.S. Secretary of State John F. (Flipping) Kerry tries to coerce Iran into making the ‘deal only if they agree to discuss their missile programs,’ Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif says ‘any discussion of his nation’s missile systems will NOT happen.’
  62. 2017 Monday: The 113th U.S. Supreme Court Associate Justice Neil Gorsuch, nominated by President Donald J. Trump, takes his place on the court on this date.  The swearing in ceremony took place at the White House.  Associate Justice would take the place of Associate Justice Antonin Scalia who died last year.  Meanwhile, the Chi-Coms detain a political activist from Taiwan, Lee Ming-che, claiming he endangered Chi-Com national security along with his wife.
  63. 2018 Tuesday: So-called “Boy Wonder,” Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook, begins testifying before the U.S. Congress regarding data harvesting, lack of privacy for the social media giant’s users, and misuse of said data.   Elsewhere, the Israeli government announces the findings of its investigation into the death of a jihadist on the other side of the Gaza border fence.  A sniper put the thug down- someone identified as a Hamas terrorist- with one shot which is ruled a ‘clean kill.’  However, the soldiers who filmed the incident and then celebrated it are told not to behave like that.
  64. 2019 Wednesday: On this date, one of the most amazing photos to come out of the Event Horizon Telescope depicts a BLACK HOLE in 2017 in galaxy M87, approximately 6.5 billion times the mass of Earth and about 55 million light years distant.  Absolutely amazing!  Elsewhere, anyone on Medicare in the United States has had salespeople calling them up, telling them they are ‘eligible for back braces for their pain.’  All one must do is to give their information to these scoundrels.  Well, the federal government charges 24 scumbags for Medicare fraud, not a good thing, because these people were pushing back braces to many who did not need them and billing the feds for $1.2 billion for not only the back braces but other durable equipment medical devices.   Finally, the 6th U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Kirstjen Nielsen left office on this date.  She served under President Donald J. Trump from December 06, 2017, until today.
  65. 2020 Friday: China’s grand gift to the rest of the world, the COVID-19 Wuhan Virus Crisis continues claiming lives and ruining economies.  Currently, we have 1,699,632 confirmed cases of this hellacious disease what with 102,734 confirmed deaths and 376,330 confirmed recoveries.  In the United States, we have 502,876 confirmed cases what with 18,747 confirmed deaths and another 27,314 confirmed recoveries.   Around the world, pain, suffering, and death continue and it’s all because of two guilty culprits: communist China and the World Health Organization that continues to carry water for the communist nation.  President Trump informed the world today that the United States puts $500 million into the coffers of the corrupt organization every year while the People’s Republic of China puts in a measly $40-50 million per year yet the W.H.O. continues doing Beijing’s bidding.  This will have to change and the only way it will is when the United States returns to the Two-China Policy and recognizes Taiwan as a full member state of the U.N. and gives them back their seat on the Security Council.
  66. 2021 Saturday: JOE BIDEN NEWS– Joe Biden says he is going to maintain the current level of funding for the U.S. military, he is going to funnel it through Pine Island Acquisitions Corporation which is a major lobbying tailor-made for doing Deep State business with the federal government supplying its military needs (and most likely, to re-route money back around to liberal Democrats- the classic money-go-round.  However, what exactly the military is going to do other than to root out conservatism in the ranks is unclear because his Press Secretary Jen “Circle Back” Psaki declared ‘the Biden administration WON’T confront communist China.’  Why would they?  The Chi-Coms fund the entire Biden clan.   Finally, Joe Biden is going to convene a ‘chip summit’ so we can find a way to eradicate our chip shortage.  Whoa, Joe.
  67. 2021 Saturday A: JOE BIDEN’S BORDER CATASTROPHE– Congressman Jim Banks, R-IN 3rd congressional district, says that Joe Biden bears full responsibility for the border crisis.  He labels it a horrible ‘humanitarian crisis.’   Meanwhile, as this self-inflicted crisis continues, the Biden administration is going to continue housing illegal aliens at hotels in border cities (and elsewhere across the country).  (Note- Chefs Lilah and Itzi says that flights bringing illegals into Honolulu is indeed happening although they are doing their best to keep it quiet.  They say it’s the same as when President Obama was in office and states were giving their homeless populations one-way tickets to the islands.  NOT good).
  68. 2021 Saturday B: JUDICIAL SYSTEM NEWS– following U.S. Supreme Court Associate Justice Stephen Breyer saying yesterday that ‘packing the court is not the way to go,’ tens of thousands of raving lunatic leftists are out in the streets demanding that Justice Breyer step down now.  This is what you get when you coddle at least two generations by not giving them the belt across their asses when they cause problems as kids- you get a bunch of whiny, sniveling young people who behave like spoiled brats.  You know what Ichabod Crane said in “The Headless Horseman”- ‘spare the rod and spoil the child.’  Folks, instead of these worthless c***suckers canceling us, how about we cancel the living Bejeezus out of them?  It’s US or THEM.  Keep your seat, Justice Breyer, we may not agree with you on much, but this is flipping crazy.  In other court news, the U.S. Supreme Court struck down California Governor Gavin “The Smiler” Newsom’s Gestapo-like order preventing home Bible study during the pandemic.  When can we recall this POS?  (Note- Chief Justice John Roberts sided with the libs on the court.  What a mistake he was).  In other news, famed legal scholar and professor Alan Dershowitz told Newsmax TV that the Dems are indeed doing their best to ‘stack the court.’
  69. 2021 Saturday C: 2020 ELECTION FRAUD, CORRUPTION, THEFT, AND FOREIGN INTERFERENCE NEWS– Governor Christopher T. Sununu, R-N.H., says he will sign an order to look into the voting machines used in the last election.  Word has it they flipped a lot of GOP votes to Democrats.  Is it not amazing how this just seemed to happen across the country?  And they claim there was NO election interference.   Elsewhere, after being ordered to remove the dead voters from the state’s voter rolls due to a court order, Pennsylvania announces they are going to clean up their voter rolls.  Isn’t this amazing, too, how when courts intervene on behalf of the voters, things start getting cleaned up?  NO wonder they still have “Fort Pelosi” up in Washington, D.C.   (Note- although the ‘un-elected governor of Georgia- Stacey Abrams once supported similar laws to what Georgia now has, she no longer does.  Too bad).
  70. 2021 Saturday D: FOREIGN NEWS / OVERSEAS NEWS– Iranian leadership was all excited today touring a new centrifuge facility that will enrich uranium 50-times faster than they currently are.  Moreover, the good thing about it, it’s all for ‘peaceful purposes’ or so these lying scumbags claim.  Seems about time for another worm infecting their centrifuges to occur.  We know Joe Biden won’t do it so it’s up to the Israelis.  Next, the Chi-Coms have hit Alibaba with a $2.8 billion antitrust suit.  How does this work in a ‘communist country?’  It’s nice they pretend like they have laws when in fact, there is BUT ONE LAW- whatever dictator Xi Jinping says.
  71. 2021 Saturday E: RINO REPUBLICAN NEWS– It would appear that Senate Minority Leader “Cocaine Mitch” McConnell has some residual guilt left from sticking the dagger in President Donald J. Trump’s neck by voting NOT to convict #45 in his second impeachment trial and then saying that ‘Trump was responsible for the False Flag Operation the Dems and their storm-troopers ran on January 06, 2021.’  Senator McConnell says that Joe Biden is ‘caving to the left on packing the U.S. Supreme Court and ending the filibuster.’  His good friend, Senator Mitt Romney, RINO-UT, echoes his boss by ripping the Dems on their scheme to ‘pack the court’ and to ‘end the filibuster.’  (Note- these guys are hoping we will forget their RINO politics and their traitorous behavior towards a president who did what neither of them have ever been able to accomplish: #45 kept his word).   In REAL Republican news, Jason Miller says that ‘Donald Trump is still the head of the GOP no matter how much the RINO scum wants him NOT to be).

Trump’s 15-month number by 198,903 Chi-Com lab-engineered virus deaths in FIFTEEN MONTHS.  Joe has accomplished this onerous task in 445 days.  He promised that he would lockdown the virus, NOT the country.

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

Levon Helm returned to action following a bout with cancer and reformed his band.  The subsequent release is “The Midnight Ramble Sessions, Volume II” (August 16, 2006).  Joining the drummer/vocalist, were Little Sammy Davis (vocals/harmonica), Larry Campbell  (guitars), Dr. John (pianos), Michael Merritt (bass), and several others.  Davis is the vocalist and front man for the group seeing as how Helm was recovering from throat cancer which is amazing because the band roars through a set of blues tunes that leave one’s head ablaze and ears a-smoking.  Levon manages to do some vocals which is good.  We hope that you will investigate this one to your heart’s content and consider making it a part of your daily listening pleasure.  Seek it out wherever you shop for the absolute best in music and enjoy.  It’s amazing, of that we guarantee.

  57. 2004 Sunday: Former Democrat President Jimmy Carter, a Nobel Peace Prize winner, roundly condemns President George W. Bush and British Prime Minister Tony Blair ‘for waging an unnecessary war of aggression against Iraq.’  Millions are protesting all across the world, the Arab world is unhappy (even though Saddam Hussein is a murderous thug), and it’s clear that whatever support there was for the war has vanished.  On top of all this, al-Qaida swears that on the black market, they have purchased suitcase nukes and you know what that means- they want to set them off in the United States.
  58. 2005 Monday: Much to the horror of liberals and jihadists across the world, Israel announces that it will soon be constructing 3,500 new homes in its capital of Jerusalem.  Of course, the Palestinians run amok.   Elsewhere, a shootout between U.N. peacekeepers and angry former rebels in Haiti leaves four people dead- including TWO U.N. peacekeepers.  Meanwhile, U.N. 62. 2009 Saturday: The Venezuelan military is launching a crackdown across the country as the GREAT SOCIALIST REVOLUTION continues under the AMAZING Simon Bolivar-wannabe Hugo Chavez.  The thugs are taking control of air-and-seaports to prevent their people leaving or unauthorized goods from coming in.  You know, the government has to ‘wet its beak’ in every incoming good.  Meanwhile, Somali pirates leap into their high-speed boats and grab an Indian freighter, taking both the ship and its entire crew hostage.
  63. 2010 Sunday: Muslims in Pakistan are upset, protesting in the streets over claims that Israel is blowing up sacred Muslim sites in their country.  This is bogus.  The Muslims know it’s bogus; yet they continue running amok causing trouble.  The problem has arisen over the fact that Israel is building in Jerusalem, their hereditary capitol, given to them by GOD ALMIGHTY.  Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu informs the world that ‘building in Jerusalem for us is like building in Tel Aviv.’  Stop with the sniveling already.
  64. 2011 Monday: The first full face transplant in history occurs as doctors at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts, perform the feat.  Meanwhile, during the third night of outside intervention in the Libyan uprising, the home of Moammar Gaddafi is hit with more bombs than ever before (who gave Barack Obama the right to do this? —the man has a fricking Nobel Peace Prize!).  Elsewhere, Israel launches air strikes against Palestinian targets after the Palestinians fire rockets and mortars into the world’s only Jewish state.
  65. 2012 Wednesday: The Greek Parliament votes unanimously to approve the bailout deal given them by the European Union.  Elsewhere, violence continues across Iraq as unconfirmed reports arise in which ‘emos’- young Iraqi men who dress in Western styles- are having their skulls bashed in with cinderblocks by local jihadists.   Why would this be untrue?  We know ISIS loves throwing gays off high rooftops.   These people are animals and require eradication like the vermin they are.
  66. 2013 Thursday: The U.S. uses B-52 bombers in joint exercises with South Korea, which leads to North Korea threatening to bomb U.S. bases in Japan.   Meanwhile, the European Space Agency reveals scientific data that says the Universe is 13.82 billion years old.   Elsewhere, while President Barack Hussein Obama is visiting Palestine and Israel, Palestinian thugs begin firing some missiles into Israel.  Light ‘em up, Israelis.
  67. 2014 Friday: Vladimir Putin ratifies laws today annexing Crimea, defying sanction threats by the U.S. and the European Union.  Ukraine, however, signs an association accord with the European Union which goes against Vladimir Putin’s express wishes.  Meanwhile, Exxon Mobil takes the initiative among energy companies to disclose its plans for dealing with climate change in response to a 2013 shareholder resolution; the company’s move may set a standard for other energy companies to follow.
  68. 2015 Saturday: As ongoing talks between the USA and five other nations, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani expresses optimism that the group could strike a deal on the Iranian’s nuclear development—ostensibly for ‘peaceful purposes’—before a major deadline arrives at the end of the month—what a mess.  Elsewhere, in Yemen, the U.S. evacuates its remaining special operations forces as the country continues going from bad to worse.
  69. 2016 Monday: South Korea reports that North Korea is at it yet again this time firing off five shortrange missiles into the Sea of Japan.  They are pissed off at the new sanctions imposed upon them by the Obama administration.   Elsewhere, in Bamako, Mali, unidentified gunmen storm a hotel used by European Union military officials.   Other than one of the gunmen being shot dead, no one else was hurt.
  70. 2017 Tuesday: Famed head of the world-famous Gong Show- Chuck Barris- dies at age 87. The Gong Show was a great show.   Elsewhere, Iran continues its belligerence claiming they can enrich uranium up to 99-percent and no one can do a damned thing about it.  They don’t know President Donald J. Trump.   Next, Neil Gorsuch undergoes more grilling today before the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee.
  71. 2018 Wednesday:  After the data of more than 50 million users is harvested by Cambridge Analytica, Facebook CEO and founder Mark Zuckerberg admits he and his company ‘made mistakes.’  Meanwhile, the communist government of China continues amassing power as it announces measures to consolidate radio and television stations into one entity, “Voice of China.”  Finally, a suicide bomber kills 31 people and injures scores more who were celebrating the Persian New Year in Kabul, Afghanistan.
  72. 2019 Thursday: Six days after the Christchurch, New Zealand, massacre, Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern announces a ban on military-style assault weapons.  Meanwhile, President Donald J. Trump announces via Twitter that the United States should respect and recognize Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights.   Syria, however, says nothing in response.  What can they do about it?
  73. 2020 Saturday: The World Health Organization announces that worldwide, at least 20 vaccines for COVID-19, aka the Old Chi-Vi, the Yellow Flu, the Xi Jinping Bat Flu are in development.  Nations are racing to find ways to mitigate this crap and what makes it worse, the Chi-Coms are close-lipped as to how exactly the virus came about and from whence the evil s**t came.  Speculation centers on the Wuhan wet market where all manner of animals, fowl, insects, and seafood are crammed together, all defecating atop one another and being slaughtered with one another with blood, fecal matter, and other festering, noxious body fluids combine and get onto human beings.  What a barbaric f**king place.  YOU are what YOU eat.
  74. 2021 Sunday:  BIDEN BORDER CATASTROPHE I: First thing we learned today is that the Biden administration is spending $87 million of taxpayer monies to house hundreds of thousands along the southern border, mostly in Arizona and Texas.  (Note- Joe, if you deported everyone, you wouldn’t have to spend a dime).   Next, on ABC News today, Antonio Mayorkas, director of Homeland Security announced that ‘the border is secure, closed, the U.S. is expelling illegal aliens, so don’t come.’  (Note- does anyone believe this duck crap?).  At the same time, Jenn Pellegrino of One America News was interviewing an illegal alien who said that because ‘Joe Biden is in the White House, he and everyone else is coming as Donald Trump wouldn’t let anyone in.’  There you go- what more evidence does the reader require to understand that feeble Joe Biden wants to flood the country with illegal aliens?
  75. 2021 Sunday A:  BIDEN BORDER CATASTROPHE II:  Congressman Michael McCaul, R-TX 10th congressional district, predicts that by the early summer, at least 1 million Third World illegal aliens will have crossed our border with millions more to come.  (Note- folks, we are being invaded as though we are in a war.  By the time government wakes up to the danger, it will be too late).   Congressman McCaul also says the Biden administration ‘could easily solve the crisis by returning to Trump era policies on the border.’  Likewise, Senator Tom Cotton, R-AR, echoes McCaul by saying that the Dems ‘dumped three Trump era policies that would solve the crisis now.’  Meanwhile, Customs and Border Patrol- the CBP- says it’s going to begin releasing illegal aliens into the heartland of Texas sans any court dates.   Elsewhere, Senator Rob Portman, R-OH, says that there ‘must be transparency along the border so it’s time for the Biden administration to remove the blackout down there.’  (Note- you would think that IF the Biden people thought they were doing a bang-up job, they would want the world to see exactly what they are doing.  But they don’t!  What is up with that?). Portman also says CBP must be given additional resources.  Finally, Sheriff Mark Daniels of Cochise County, Arizona, says that ‘Joe Biden halting construction on the border wall has driven Mexican cartels- especially the Sinaloa cartel- to increased violence.’  How about doing something for law and order, Joe?
  76. 2021 Sunday B: JOE BIDEN NEWS– Joe Biden has now officially gone TWO WHOLE MONTHS sans a press conference with reporters.  Supposedly, the ancient stumbler is going to address the entire planet on March 25, 2021.  (Note- stay aware of deep fakes and multiple takes.  Just saying).  Next, China experts say that the reason for Beijing’s hyper-aggressiveness with the Biden administration is that they believe they have him by the balls due to Wall Street and son Hunter Biden’s ties with Chinese Communist Party.   Gordon Chang says that ‘neither Russia or the People’s Republic of China has any respect for Joe Biden and believe they can push the senile old coot around.’  Next, Joe Biden dumps a Trump era student loan debt forgiveness program and then forgives $1 billion in student loan debt.
  77. 2021 Sunday C: MISCELLANEOUS NEWS I: Soon-to-be-gone Congresswoman Liz Cheney, R-WY, is among a group of lawmakers seeking to boycott the Beijing Winter Olympics 2022.   Speaking of sports, the Atlanta Motor Speedway is holding a NASCAR event and expects at least 20,000 people to show up and enjoy the spectacle.   Meanwhile, COVID-19 claims one of the NCAA March Madness Men’s Games, the matchup between Virginia Commonwealth University-Oregon University.  Elsewhere, the mayor of Miami Beach, Florida, Dan Gelber, declares a state of emergency as spring breakers descend on the Sunshine State’s beaches.   Speaking of Florida, Governor Ron DeSantis bans the teaching of the bogus and highly racist philosophy- Critical Race Theory- and instead, seeks to have teachers become proficient in the teaching of civics, history, and government.   Next, Trump senior adviser Jason Miller says that President Trump will be back on social media within 2-3 months with a new social media app.’  Excellent.
  78. 2021 Sunday D: FOREIGN/OVERSEAS NEWS– the Japanese announce that they are going to restore their role in global affairs and that its military will aid the United States in protecting the independence of Taiwan and other nations under threat from Beijing.  Welcome back, Japan.  Meanwhile, the U.S. Deputy Defense Secretary Kathleen Hicks says that China is a pacing challenge for the U.S. military as China’s elites believe they can push the United States around.   Elsewhere, the U.S. intercepts- get this- chatter among Iranian Revolutionary Guard bigwigs discussing an attack on Fort McNair in Washington, D.C. That would be something if these dimwits attempted a brazen attack like that.  Then again, with Joe Biden in the White House, he’d probably give them a pass.
  79. 2021 Sunday E: FOREIGN/OVERSEAS NEWS II: Afghan state media announced the unplanned visit by U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin.  He arrived in Kabul today to hold talks with members of the Afghan government.  Elsewhere, thousands of protesters are flooding the streets of Istanbul, Turkey, protesting Turkish thug dictator Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s signing of a bill with which to withdraw the once great Ottoman Empire from an international treaty recognizing and protecting the rights of women.  Many believe this will empower murderers, abusers, and rapists to reach new heights in punishing women and girls.
  80. 2021 Sunday F: MISCELLANEOUS NEWS II– Senator Rick Scott, R-FL, blasts the Dems over their hypocrisy on getting rid of the filibuster rule in the U.S. Senate.  Next, Senator Ron Johnson, R-WI, says the Dems are trying to SILENCE him for exposing their bogus narrative on ‘what happened’ on January 06, 2021, the day the Dems (and some stupid RINOs) are trying to spin as some sort of violent and armed insurrection.  He won’t adhere to their narrative and continues sharing the truth with anyone who will listen.  God bless you, Senator Johnson!   Elsewhere, the Dems are shattering fund-raising records this year.  The DNC has already raised $18.4 million.  Wow.  Meanwhile, Democrat lawmakers in the Empire State are being pressured to return ALL donations given to them by outgoing Governor Andrew “Killer” Cuomo.  Now that the man is besieged by people in his state who are openly demanding he either resign or be removed via impeachment, NO one wants to be tied with this POS.  Finally, the Massage Parlor Massacres could not have come at a better time for the Democrats- they are redoubling efforts to remove lawful gun owners’ firearms.  Go figure.  “Never let a good crisis go to waste.”
  81. 2021 Sunday G: COVID-19 NEWS– as Joe Biden continues braying about the success of ‘his’ COVID-19 vaccine plan, Dr. Moncef Slaoui says that ‘President Donald J. Trump bears 90-percent of the responsibility for getting the vaccine made and distributed.’  Joe Biden does not want to hear that.  Next, the Centers for Disease Control reports the successful vaccinations of 3.1 million customers in a single day for ‘Joe Biden’s vaccine.’  Whoa.
  82. 2021 Sunday H: ECONOMIC NEWS– Former Treasury official Lawrence “Larry” Summers says, ‘Joe Biden’s economic program (if one can call it such) is the least responsible in the past 40 years.’  Amen.  Meanwhile, Trump economic adviser Peter Navarro says, that elections do indeed have consequences and the stolen election of 2020 has lots of consequences.’   Elsewhere, tax expert Julio Gonzalez says that ‘illegal aliens are the big winners of the Joe Biden stimulus (PORKULUS) plan and NOT Americans.’  Ouch.
  83. 2021 Sunday I: OPINION NEWS– Fareed Zakaria of GPS- Global Public Square- said today that the ‘United States military is so much better than that of the People’s Republic of China that the U.S. does not need to spend the kind of money we have been spending on national defense.’  Zakaria says that Beijing is putting more money into its Belt and Roads Initiative with which it will tie large portions of the globe into a commonwealth of sorts that will benefit all nations attached to it.  According to Zakaria, the U.S. is spending more money than it spent at the height of the Vietnam War- adjusted for inflation, of course- so why are we so frightened of communist China?  Fareed sounds rather like a shill for the Chinese Communist Party now, doesn’t he?
  84. 2021 Sunday J: COVID-19 STATISTICS FOR THE PLANET– Here are the COVID-19 statistics for the planet as a whole: 122,964,412 confirmed cases, +1,081,972, 2,711,747, confirmed deaths, +18,941, and 69,647,959 confirmed recoveries, +614,688.  Next, here are the stats for the United States, the intended target of the Chinese-engineered Wuhan Virus pandemic: 30,011,181 confirmed cases, up 105,688 from yesterday’s reporting, 547,453 confirmed deaths, UP 2,322, and 116,813,739 confirmed recoveries.  Note- we are going to do our own estimates of recoveries based on percentages seeing as how the CDC won’t report them.  It would appear in the age of ‘Joe Biden,’ people are becoming sicker with the Chinese Virus and dying faster than they did under Donald Trump.  NOTE: SINCE JOE BIDEN BECAME PRESIDENT ON JANUARY 20, 2021, THERE HAVE BEEN 218,986 CHI-VI DEATHS IN THE United States- El Presidente, in another two-and-a-half weeks, you will have tied the total number witnessed by the Trump administration in nearly a year of the coronavirus running amok.
  85. 2021 Sunday K: Next, in the three states in which, the world-famous American Institute of Culinary Politics-the Elemental News of the Day employs chef-bloggers- California, Hawaii, and Washington- here are the stats, California first: 3,641,664 confirmed cases, 57,501 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Next here are the numbers for Hawaii: 28,773 confirmed cases, 454 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Finally, here are the stats for Washington: 357,376 confirmed cases, 5,224 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Let us look at one other piece of the U.S., the territory of Guam: currently, they have 8,749 confirmed cases, 135 confirmed deaths, and 6,707 confirmed recoveries.  Now that Mo has relocated to Israel, let’s look at the statistics there: 827,772 confirmed cases, 6,092 confirmed deaths, and 802,337 confirmed recoveries.   Let’s look at one other country- Iraq, the birthplace of civilization- 789,390 cases of the ‘VID, 13,969 confirmed deaths and 710,699 confirmed recoveries.
  86. 2021 Sunday M: NATIONAL GAS PRICE AND U.S. NATIONAL DEBT– Thanks to the Biden administration, gasoline prices continue rising by the day- in California, gasoline prices have risen to over $3.879 per gallon, $3.604 in Hawaii, and $3.316 in Washington state.   Meanwhile, here is a snapshot of the U.S. National Debt for today: $28,078,445,971,103 and the Democrats are adding TRILLIONS of dollars to it, not BILLIONS but flipping TRILLIONS.  Cloward and Piven running amok.
  87.  2021 Sunday N: CRIME NEWS– Law enforcement officials finally arrested a murderous POS named Sean Michael Lannon.  U.S. marshals have been pursuing this guy, tying him to at least five murders including that of his ex-wife.  When they finally arrested him, he confessed to at least 16 murders of various people across the country.  Give this guy the chair!
  88. 2022 Monday: Stay tuned…

The next effort by folk trio, Danko/Fjeld/Andersen- “Ridin’ on the Blinds”- came out on April 10, 1994.  Once again, the band performed gloriously on acoustic tunes, tunes that united the trio in a shared vision for their musical future.  The lineup featured Rick Danko (bass, guitars, lead and backing vocals), Jonas Fjeld (lead and backing vocals and guitars), Eric Andersen (lead and backing vocals, keyboards), as well as accompaniment from- most notably- the Band’s Garth Hudson on keyboards and accordions- among numerous others.  We hope you will seek this one out, give it a good listen, and make it apart of your daily listening pleasure- you will be glad you did.

  56. 2020 Monday:  President Donald J. Trump signed an executive order today in which, he forbids American companies (Google comes to mind as does Microsoft and numerous other big tech firms) from hiring foreign scab workers to displace higher-paid American workers.  Far too often in today’s America, American firms force American workers to train foreign workers to do their jobs and then send them packing.  This is not right and what the president did today is amazing.  NO more displacing Americans with foreign scabs.  Enough is enough.  Meanwhile, the stats are in for shootings in Chicago over the weekend: at least 33 people shot, 9 slain- including a 9-year-old boy and when compared to last July in Chicago, murders in the Windy City in July are up 139-percent.  Elsewhere, in New York City, at this point in time, there have been more shootings than ALL of last year’s combined.  What the hell is up with these BIG BLUE CITIES?  Where the hell are Black Lives Matter, you know, the Marxist, racist organization?  We thought black lives ‘matter?’  Apparently not.

In contrast, one-dollar U.S. = 0.85 euros.
  60. 2021 Tuesday: What have the Chi-Coms done today?  What has their stooge, drooling Joe Biden done?  Stick around and find out along with the rest of us…

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

The album we have for you today is actually the first SOLO effort that original Jethro Tull guitarist Mick Abrahams released following the two albums he made with his first solo group, Blodwyn Pig.  “Times Have Changed” came out in 1971 but we have it here as a re-release issued on September 08, 2008.  Abrahams is an unsung guitarist which is a true shame because he deserves to be in the same pantheon of Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page, Kim Simmonds, Alvin Lee, and a few select others as his ability to interpret the blues ranks among the all-time great top 10 axmen.  We hope you will seek this album out by visiting whatever site it is you do for the best in rock music as you will most definitely enjoy it.   Seek it out ASAP and give your ears the gift of blues music.

[i] We offered the music of the Byrds beginning on Monday, 16-January-2012 and concluded the presentation on Friday, 17-February-2012.  Not sure if we will ever present the music of the other bands with which York played like the Bees, the Sir Douglas Quintet, the Museums, CRY, Gene Clark’s solo band, and Carla Olson.

[ii] We began promoting the music of the greatest British blues rock band, the Climax Blues Band, beginning on Monday, 16-September-2019 through Sunday, 27-October-2019.  This included the solo efforts of Pete Haycock and Colin Cooper.  We hope you will check them out and add them to your collection.

[iii] We began presenting the music of the Animals, of Eric Burdon and the Animals, of Eric Burdon, Eric Burdon and War, and War beginning on Monday, 08-June-2015 and the presentation ran through Sunday, 02-August-2015.  We hope you will seek them out and consider making them a part of your listening pleasure.

[iv] When we begin promoting American bands again, we will be sure to include the Stray Cats as well as the group’s individual members.  We hope you will remain alert for the day we do.

[v] We began promoting the music of both the Beatles and the band’s individual components on Friday, 04-November-2016 through Sunday, 11-June-2018.  Besides the Beatles, we also promoted the music of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Wings, Ringo Starr, and George Harrison as well as the Traveling Wilburys.

[vi] We began promoting the music of Love, the famed Los Angeles, California, rock band on Wednesday, 24-October-2012 through Friday, 16-November-2012.  Please seek out the music of this awesome band.  This group was among the best of the 1960s.

[vii] Many believe Barack Obama should be disqualified as a president because most believe he was born outside the United States which would ban him from ever seeking the highest office in the land.  At the very least, an asterisk should be placed by his name in all U.S. history books.

32. 1954 Saturday: Incredibly, the fight to control the Elianes around Dien Bien Phu continue. General Giap of the People’s Army continues sending in wave after wave of attackers beginning late in the evening. Artillery shells fall upon the French defenders, the attackers force their way through rolls of concertina barbed wire and hand-to-hand fighting goes on to near dawn. Still, reinforcements scraped up from other parts of French Indochina are able to parachute into the encircled base tonight and tomorrow night.

  49. 2004 Saturday: According to Al-Jazeera, on the anniversary of the toppling of Iraqi thug dictator Saddam Hussein, heavy fighting rages across the entirety of Iraq with the exception of Kurdish areas.  There, they celebrate the fall of the murderous POS with parties, dancing, festivities, and in one place melt an ice carving of the hated dictator.
  50. 2005 Sunday: Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao floats an idea to India, suggesting that the two rivals put past tensions between the two countries behind them and work at pooling resources and talent to become leading IT developers and manufacturers.  Doing so would signify the coming of the Asian Century.  No word from New Delhi.
  51. 2006 Monday: Illegal aliens across the United States take to the streets protesting a new bill, H.R.
  65. 2020 Friday: China’s grand gift to the rest of the world, the COVID-19 Wuhan Virus Crisis continues claiming lives and ruining economies.
  66. 2021 Saturday: Even though it’s the weekend, we know that communists and their flunkies in Washington, D.C. NEVER sleep.  Stick around to discover the truth with us.  Also, stick around for tonight’s Super Lotto and Powerball drawings…

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

UFO released a less costly retrospective anthology of sorts on January 21, 2012, “The Chrysalis Years 1980-1986.”  This effort contains every piece of music the band recorded between 1980 and 1986.  You get all the tunes collected together on several CDS.  Some sites are charging an arm and a leg (perhaps two legs) for this collection but if you have some money to spend- seeing as how everyone may have received their Joe Biden PORKULUS checks, you will have enough cash to purchase this celebrated set and still have more money leftover than you did with yesterday’s offering.  Seek it out now and see if it’s right for you- you will be glad you did.

JJ. 1954 Sunday: The second phase of the Battle of Dien Bien Phu is preparing to erupt once again. Both sides are resupplying and reinforcing their positions. As People’s Army sappers continue ringing the outlying bases, Colonel Christian De Castries is now sending night patrols out to hamper the trenches drawing closer to posts such as Huguette 7. Viet Minh infiltrators are crawling into the main base gathering intelligence and conducting acts of sabotage. If not shot, the French put them to work as POWs.

  61. 2011 Monday: The first full face transplant in history occurs as doctors at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts, perform the feat.

  65. 2015 Saturday: As ongoing talks between the USA and five other nations, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani expresses optimism that the group could strike a deal on the Iranian’s nuclear development—ostensibly for ‘peaceful purposes’—before a major deadline arrives at the end of the month—what a mess.  Elsewhere, in Yemen, the U.S. evacuates its remaining special operations forces as the country continues going from bad to worse.
  66. 2016 Monday: South Korea reports that North Korea is at it yet again this time firing off five shortrange missiles into the Sea of Japan.  They are pissed off at the new sanctions imposed upon them by the Obama administration.   Elsewhere, in Bamako, Mali, unidentified gunmen storm a hotel used by European Union military officials.   Other than one of the gunmen being shot dead, no one else was hurt.

  70. 2020 Saturday: The World Health Organization announces that worldwide, at least 20 vaccines for COVID-19, aka the Old Chi-Vi, the Yellow Flu, the Xi Jinping Bat Flu are in development.
  71. 2021 Sunday: Day 61 of the Biden Regime, yes, the nightmare is true.  Stick around to discover what the old coot and his Chi-Com handlers are up to today- you’ll be glad you did.

  53. 2020 Monday A: President Donald J. Trump gave Chi-Com ‘video’ (spying) ap Tik-Tok until September 15 of this year to allow Microsoft to buy the intelligence gathering platform or to get out of the United States. Boot them out ASAP!  Meanwhile, Illinois state Representative La Shawn ford, Democrat, calls to abolish teaching history in schools across the state as- according to him- it ‘leads to white privilege and a racist society.’  Will it ever stop?
  54. 2020 Monday B: Here are today’s Chi-Com Bat Flu Statistics for the globe: 18,166,298 confirmed cases, +313,847, 690,953 confirmed deaths, +11,159, and 10,768,016 confirmed recoveries, +169,689. Here are the numbers for the United States: 4,795,493 confirmed cases, UP by 55,092 new cases, 157,729 confirmed deaths, UP by 616 new deaths, and 2,334,073 confirmed recoveries, UP by 29,222 new recoveries.   Next, in the three states in which, the world-famous American Institute of Culinary Politics-The Elemental News of the Day employs chef-authors, California, Hawaii, and Washington, here are the stats, Golden State first: 514,901 confirmed cases, 9,388 confirmed deaths, but as is the norm, NO mention of confirmed recoveries.  Next, here are the stats for the Aloha State: 2,448 confirmed cases, 26 confirmed deaths, and 1,315 confirmed recoveries.  Finally, in the Ever-Red, uh, we mean, the Evergreen State, here are the stats: 58,173 confirmed cases, 1,596 confirmed deaths, but like California, the slope-headed governor, Jay Inslee, won’t share the number of confirmed recoveries.  Shame on these flipping Democrats.
  55. 2020 Monday C: Here are today’s Stock Market closes: DOW Jones Industrial Average: 26,664.40, UP 236.08 points (0.89%). Next, the NASDAQ: 10,902.80, UP 157.52 points (1.47%).  Finally, here are the stats for the S&P 500: 3,294.61, UP 23.49 points (0.72%).  Currently, GOLD is at $1,989.50 per troy oz., UP 3.20 (+0.16%), SILVER is at $24.38 per troy oz., UP -0.032 (-0.13%), PLATINUM $936.00 per troy oz. UP +4.90 (+0.53%), and COPPER is at $2.92 # +0.004 (+0.14%).  Light Sweet Crude Oil is 40.71, UP -0.30 (-0.73%).  Today, one-dollar U.S. = 6.98 Chi-Com yuan. In contrast, one-dollar U.S. = 0.85 euros.

#ST0001.1v Everybody #22 07-02-2020 (400)

On November 06, 2001, Supertramp released its next live album, “Is Everybody Listening?”  This album is superb and highlights a concert from the band’s slow rise to success, one that features “Crime of the Century” in its entirety plus a few other tunes.  The band features a quintet once again of Rick Davies (keyboards, vocals, harmonicas), Roger Hodgson (guitars, backing and lead vocals), John Anthony Helliwell (saxophones, flutes, vocals), Dougie Thompson (bass), and Bob Seibenberg (drums and percussion).  Please, seek it out and consider adding it to your ever-growing collection of the best in rock.  You will be glad you did because this band- when they were hot- they were flipping hot.

[vii] Many believe Barack Obama should be disqualified as a president because most believe he was born outside the United States which would ban him from ever seeking the highest office in the land.  At the very least, an asterisk should be placed by his name in all U.S. history books.
