Italian ground forces are hard-pressed to maintain the pace having to abandoned wheeled vehicles in the mud and push forward on foot.

  60. 2016 Friday:  As candidate Donald J. Trump continues rebuffing his numerous female accusers, Democratic Party nominee Hillary Rodham Clinton quietly begins downgrading her campaign events schedule due to fatigue and poor health; besides, she thinks she has it in the bag.  This belief will be her undoing.  Meanwhile, President Barack Hussein Obama removes restrictions on Cuban cigars and rum.

  64. 2020 Wednesday: Much to the frustration of President Donald J. Trump, Attorney-General William “Bill” Barr says the unmasking probe found NO evidence of wrongdoing in the Obama White House.  Later, when asked by Newsmax’ Greg Kelly as to what the future of AG Barr would be in a second term, the president responds ‘NO comment’ but expresses his displeasure.   Moving on, Russia rules out any nuke deal until AFTER the 2020 U.S. elections.  Elsewhere, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo pushes Saudi Arabia to normalize relations with Israel.   Speaking of Secretary Pompeo, he says the U.S. is defending 12 Hong Kongese detained by the Chi-Coms.

Regarding the election, a Pennsylvania county reports 29,000 mail-in ballots sent to the wrong people.  Instills loads of confidence in one, doesn’t it?  Elsewhere, we learn today that Hunter Biden introduced his father, then the sitting Vice President Joe Biden to Ukrainian energy officials.  This would set up a massive self-enrichment scheme for the Biden Family.   Meanwhile, Eli Lilly becomes the second pharmaceutical maker to temporarily halt COVID-19 vaccine studies after a test subject develops an unknown illness.   Speaking of the Chi-Vi, CNN’s Wolf Blitzer blasting House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s failure to negotiate a successful Wuhan Virus relief bill continues gathering steam as millions of Americans now see that she has NO desire to pass any sort of relief for millions of struggling Americans until AFTER the Election.  Impeach and remove this horrible woman.
  66. 2020 Wednesday B: Tomorrow, dueling town hall ‘debates’ will occur as President Donald J. Trump holds one at the exact same time that his challenger, “Pro-China Joe” Biden holds another.   Moving on, today is the third day of confirmation hearings for nominee Amy Coney Barrett and Sen. Ted Cruz, R-TX, exposes the Dems over their claims of ‘GOP court packing’ by pointing out that it’s NOT court packing, it’s the lawful filling of vacancies.  He points out that should the Democrats win, they will engage in court packing by adding another 4-7 additional justices, thus making the court forever a left-wing ally in whatever’s to come.   Meanwhile, Charlie Cook of the Cook Report says that ‘Pro-China Joe” Biden now has an insuperable lead over President Donald J. Trump of 17-percent and that his challenger now has a 91-percent chance of winning on November 3.  Wow!  It’s all over!  Still, just for the heck of it, we are all going to GO VOTE on Election Day…
  67. 2020 Wednesday C: THE STATE OF ILLINOIS IS NOT GOING TO FILE CHARGES AGAINST KYLE RITTENHOUSE, they young man who went to Kenosha, Wisconsin, to help his friends defend their homes and businesses.  Attacked by a mob of Antifa human filth, he defended himself and killed two of the bums in self-defense.  God bless you, Mr. Rittenhouse, God bless the state of Illinois for doing the right thing.

  69. 2020 Wednesday E: Next, in the three states in which, the world-famous American Institute of Culinary Politics-The Elemental News of the Day employs chef-authors, California, Hawaii, and Washington, here are the stats, Golden State first: 865,211 confirmed cases, 16,717 confirmed deaths, but as is the norm, NO mention of confirmed recoveries.  Next, here are the stats for the Aloha State: 13,736 confirmed cases, 183 confirmed deaths, and 10,883 confirmed recoveries.  Finally, in the Ever-Red, uh, we mean, the Evergreen State, here are the stats: 99,486 confirmed cases, 2,311 confirmed deaths, but like California, the palooka-faced governor, Jay Inslee, won’t share the number of confirmed recoveries.  Shame on these flipping Democrats.  Let’s take a look at one more state, Ohio: 173,665 confirmed number of cases, 5,033 confirmed deaths, and NO mention of confirmed number of recoveries- thank you, Governor Mike DeWine for concealing the number of recoveries.
  70. 2020 Wednesday F: Here are today’s Stock Market closes, ALL DOWN because of the news that now ties “Pro-China Joe” Biden to the corrupt Ukrainian gas company Burisma through his crackhead son, Hunter: DOW Jones Industrial Average: 28,514.00, DOWN 165.81 points (-0.58%).  Next, the NASDAQ: 11,768.63, DOWN 95.17 points (-0.80%).  Finally, here are the stats for the S&P 500: 3,488.67, DOWN 23.26 points (-0.66%).  The price of GOLD is $1,902.10 per troy oz., -5.20 (-0.27%) while the price of SILVER is $24.27 per troy ounce, -0.125 (-0.51%).  The price of PLATINUM is $861.00 per troy oz, -2.40 (-0.28%) while the price of COPPER is $3.05 per pound, -0.0045 (-0.15%).  The price of PALLADIUM is $2,366.30 per troy oz, +22.00 (+0.94%).  The price of Light Sweet Crude Oil is $41.20 per barrel, +0.16 (+0.39%).  Currently, one-dollar U.S. = 6.71 Chi-Com yuan.   Meanwhile, one-dollar U.S. = 0.85 euros and in Mexican pesos equals 21.32.
  71. 2020 Wednesday G:  As everyone knows, the day is young, we don’t know yet what the Chi-Coms and their stooges in the Democratic Party have done.  Stick around and we will find out together…which is what the New York Post today reported front page, the connection between crackhead Hunter Biden, Burisma, and his daddy, “Pro-China Joe” Biden.  Hunter introduced his father to the number three Ukrainian at Burisma and there’s the story, folks, if this were anyone else, he or she would be driven from the race in shame and sent to prison.[vi]
  72. 2020 Wednesday H: President Donald J. Trump has a MASSIVE RALLY in Des Moines, Iowa, tonight where he broaches the topics of the day, including the growing scandal about “Pro-China Joe” Biden and his dopehead son, Hunter.  Tune in to Newsmax for highlights…Meanwhile, Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-SC, pulls in a record $28 million for September in his battle to keep his seat.  Lindsey, has it hands down.  Elsewhere, we are told that in early voting, “Democrats are outvoting their GOP competition.”  Does this surprise anyone?  Honestly?  Dems always flood the early voting facilities as like the bogus fake polls that continue showing “Pro-China Joe” Biden up anywhere from 17 to 35 points, meant to depress the opposition.  Folks, NOTHING is going to depress the GOPPERS, you are going to see turnout the likes of which, you have never seen on Election Day.  The victory is going to dwarf any seen by Ronald Reagan or Richard M. Nixon and we hear from sources around the country that IF the Democrats find 500 ballots in the trunk of a car with Mexico license plates, the GOP will find 750 to 1,000 in a box from a polling station.  Dems, we are going to fight fire with fire.  Watch and see!

  81. 2021 Thursday G: JOE BIDEN REGIME NEWS I- We didn’t know the regime was responsible for this, but the White House says it cannot guarantee that Christmas packages will arrive on time.  Okay.  Next, it appears that the Biden regime has restored Little Andy McCabe’s back pay and retirement after President Donald J. Trump fired the worthless milquetoast for conspiring against him.  Atop that, Joe Biden’s commission looking into packing the U.S. Supreme Court is set to issue a preliminary finding on how the Bidenistas are going to neutralize the nation’s high court by stuffing it with another 7-9 hardcore leftists.
  82. 2021 Thursday H: POLITICAL NEWS I- Twenty-four state treasurers cosigned a letter to the Biden regime saying, “NO” on handing over taxpayers’ saving account information and transactions at $600 or higher.  Good for them.  Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen is taking heavy incoming fire and it’s clear that people across party lines are angry over this incredibly stupid move.  Meanwhile, ‘activists’ (hired illegal alien trash) say they won’t let up on Senator Kyrsten Sinema until she gives in to their demands.  Screw them.  Next, U.S. House Speaker Nancy “Mumbles” Pelosi, the nonagenarian who runs the House of Representatives with an iron fist is upset that can’t or won’t go through with the $3.5 trillion reconciliation bill.

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

The first ‘best of’ compilation by Fairport Convention hit record store shelves on August 13, 1972, “The History of Fairport Convention.”  The band was in between albums what with the last one being a poor seller and the record label wanted to make sure they got out one more piece of wax just in case the FP did not return to the studio, thus we have this album.  Friends, if you have yet to introduce the music of this veteran outfit that seems to be able to survive the snakes and ladders of the music business, this is a grand way in which to do it.  Please, seek this one out, give it a good listen, and add it to your growing collection- you will be glad you did.

285. TODAY IN HISTORY—TUESDAY, OCTOBER 12, 2021

Meanwhile, the left has the long knives out for Lt. Gov. Mark Robison, R-SC, because of him labeling homosexuals and trannys ‘filth.’ Look: everyone is entitled to his or her opinion. Governor Ralph “Black Face” Northam, DS-VA, his Lt. Gov. Justin “The Rapist” Fairfax, DS-VA, and Attorney General Mark “Black Face II” Herring, DS-VA, didn’t resign over their combined problems of racism and sexual violence so why should Lt. Gov. Robinson? Stand your ground.

DAY TWO-HUNDRED-AND-SIXTY-SIX OF THE BIDEN REGIME

285. TODAY IN HISTORY—TUESDAY, OCTOBER 12, 2021:

U.S. Supreme Court Roger B. Taney: U.S. Attorney General Roger B. Taney; U.S. Secretaries of State Philander C. Knox and Dean Acheson; U.S. Secretaries of War John Canfield Spencer and William W. Belknap; General Robert E. Lee, Chef Murph MacDougal of the American Institute of Culinary Politics-Elemental News of the Day; Blue Cheer featuring Dickie Peterson, Jesus Christ Superstar, the Jimi Hendrix Experience, John Denver, and Robin Trower featuring James Dewar:

  1. 638 Friday: Honorius ends his reign as the 70th Roman Catholic Pope; Severinus is his successor.  Honorius the I began serving all Christendom on October 27, 625 until today.  Severinus- the 71st Roman Catholic Pope- would serve from May 28, 640 until August 02, 640.
  2. 642 Wednesday: John IV ends his reign as the 72nd Roman Catholic Pope.
  3. 1285 Friday: After 180 Jews refuse baptism, the local folks of Munich, Germany, set them on fire.
  4. 1492 Wednesday: According to the Old-Style Calendar, Christopher Columbus arrived with his expedition in the present-day Bahamas.  The Italian explorer—sailing under the Spanish flag—believed he had arrived in Asia through heading west instead of eastward around the Horn of Africa.  Upon arriving in the islands, he claimed the land for King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella of Spain.
  5. 1692 Sunday: The Massachusetts Bay Colony discontinues its witch trials.
  6. 1792 Friday: America celebrates Columbus Day for the first time.  People would continue honoring this holiday for more than two centuries until leftists early in the 21st century began trying to eradicate it.
  7. 1810 Friday: The German festival Oktoberfest first takes place in Munich to celebrate the wedding of Bavarian Crown Prince Ludwig and Princess Therese of Saxe-Hildburghausen.  Now, Muslims in Germany demand that the festival end as it ‘offends’ them.
  8. 1841 Tuesday: The 17th U.S. Secretary of War John Canfield Spencer took the oath of office on this date.  Originally a Democratic-Republican, he became a Whig and served under President John Tyler October 12, 1841, to March 04, 1843, then became the 16th U.S. Treasury Secretary.
  9. 1860 Friday: British and French troops capture Beijing.
  10. 1862 Sunday: Confederate cavalry under the command of General J.E.B. Stuart “ride around McLellan” for the second time during the Civil War; the Confederates are masters at eluding Union troops.
  11. 1864 Wednesday: In Washington, D.C., the 24th overall U.S. Supreme Court justice and 5th Chief Justice Roger B. Taney, died on this date.  President Andrew Jackson nominated the Federalist-turned-Democrat to fill the seat of Chief Justice John Marshall.  Taney served from March 28, 1836, to October 12, 1864.  It is important to note that Taney served in other roles prior to his final one on the Supreme Court: he served under President Andrew Jackson as the nation’s 11th attorney-general from July 20, 1831, to November 14, 1833, then became the 12th U.S. Treasury secretary (served from September 23, 1833, to June 25, 1834), and finally the 5th U.S. Supreme Court chief justice.
  12. 1870 Wednesday: General Robert E. Lee died in Lexington, Virginia, at age 63.
  13. 1871 Thursday: President Ulysses S. Grant condemns the Ku Klux Klan.
  14. 1890 Sunday: In Washington, D.C., the 30th U.S. Secretary of War William W. Belknap died at age 61 resulting from a heart attack.  First a Democrat and then a Republican, Secretary Belknap served under President Ulysses S. Grant from October 25, 1869, to March 02, 1876.
  15. 1892 Wednesday: In celebration of the 400th anniversary of the Columbus landing, students recited the original version of the Pledge of Allegiance in public schools.
  16. 1901 Saturday: President Theodore Roosevelt renames the “Executive Mansion” the “White House.”
  17. 1907 Saturday: In the 5th World Series, the Chicago Cubs beat the Detroit Tigers 4 games to 0 with one tie.
  18. 1914 Monday: Fighting on the Western Front seethes back and forth between Allied French and British troops and opposing forces, the Germans.  Meanwhile, in Sarajevo, Serbia, the trial of 17 thugs accused in the murder of Austro-Hungarian Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife, Sophie, while they were touring the country, commences.  This act- the assassination of the archduke and his wife- set off World War I.  The main shooter- Gavrilo Princip- told the court he did it for greater Yugoslavia- for free Slavs- and will accept his fate.
  19. 1915 Tuesday: The Germans in occupied Belgium executed English nurse, 49-year-old Edith Cavell during World War I.  Germans charged her with aiding and concealing British and French soldiers, but a Belgian collaborator handed her over to the Germans.  She was executed by a firing squad.  Meanwhile, former President Theodore Roosevelt criticizes American citizens who identify themselves with dual nationalities.
  20. 1916 Thursday: In the 14th World Series, the Boston Red Sox beat the Brooklyn Dodgers 4 games to one.  Elsewhere on the Italian Front during World War I, the Eighth Battle of the Isonzo sputters to a foregone conclusion with both the Austro-Hungarians and the Italians suffering around 25,000 casualties each.  Meanwhile, in Bayonne, New Jersey, violence continues following the cops shooting unarmed strikes at the oil refinery and the ensuing violence that began yesterday as angry workers surrounded a police station led to seven more people being shot by the cops.  There appears to be no end to strife in the angry city.
  21. 1917 Friday: The First Battle of Passchendaele begins as Allied forces assault German positions near the Belgium town.  The Allies throw ANZAC forces against the dug-in Germans and the resulting casualties suffered among the Australian and New Zealander troops is shocking to say the least.  Still, the Germans suffered heavily, too, but still clung to their positions.
  22. 1918 Saturday: As World War I continues sputtering to its inevitable conclusion, the German Navy’s proud Airship Division of dirigibles heads out on its final mission against Allied shipping.  The German Zeppelins had so terrorized the English coastal areas during the height of the war and Brits came to fear them appearing overhead.
  23. 1919 Sunday: With World War I over and in the books, Royal Navy sailors in Scotland stage a mutiny.  They were upset at being deployed and redeployed to the Baltic to assist White Russian forces fighting the evil Bolshevik forces in the Baltic Republics.  The government would crush the mutiny with force and imprison numerous officers and men for a variety of crimes.
  24. 1920 Tuesday: In the 18th World Series, the Cleveland Indians beat the Brooklyn Dodgers 5 games to two.
  25. 1921 Wednesday: In Washington, D.C., the 40th U.S. Secretary of State Philander C. Knox died.  He served under President William Howard Taft from March 06,1909, to March 05, 1913.

  27. 1938 Wednesday: Production commenced on “The Wizard of Oz.”
  28. 1939 Thursday: British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain goes before the House of Commons to give German Fuhrer Adolf Hitler his reply.  England will not accept peace with the Nazi government.  Germany must leave Poland if any peace is to be achieved.  The British people know there will be no peace and sadly begin preparing for a second European war in two decades.
  29. 1940 Saturday: Off the coast of Sicily, British warships and cargo vessels come under sustained attack from Italian naval units as they sail towards Malta to resupply the garrison there.  The British were able to achieve a tactical victory by driving the Fascists off into the open seas.
  30. 1941 Sunday: As the Nazis close in on Moscow, the Soviet government begins relocating to the Volga River cities on the far side.  However, Josef Stalin is determined to remain within the Kremlin until the bitter end.   He is, after all, the ‘Man of Steel’ (and probably also extremely drunk).  The amazing thing about the impending collapse of Moscow is that many educated Russians views the Nazis as potential saviors and that they would be able to survive the German-Axis victory were it to happen.
  31. 1942 Monday: Attorney-General Francis Biddle announced during a Columbus Day celebration at Carnegie Hall that Italian nationals in the United States would no longer be enemy aliens.  Meanwhile, James Dewar, future bassist-vocalist with the Scottish band, Stone the Crows[i], and with Robin Trower[ii], was born on this date in Glasgow, Scotland.
  32. 1942 Monday A: On the Eastern Front, the fighting continues to rage in Stalingrad.  The final German offensive to drive the Soviets out of the city is set to begin in two days.  Three German infantry divisions, funneled into the city, were preparing to assault the final holdout portions of the city.  Two regiments of tanks from a panzer division were preparing to join them.  Finally, in the Pacific Theater during World War II, the U.S. Navy is able to defeat Imperial Japanese ships during the Battle of Cape Esperance.  The U.S. lost one destroyer while two Japanese destroyers were sunk by warplanes from Guadalcanal.
  33. 1943 Tuesday: After British Prime Minister Winston Churchill called on Portugal to honor a treaty of mutual support between the two nations hammered out 570 years before, Lisbon- even though it has many pro-Nazis in the government- agrees to permit the British- and Americans in civilian uniform- to set up bases and airfields in the Azores so as to prevent the German High Seas Fleet from doing the same with them.   Berlin is unhappy but they are unable to do anything to change Lisbon’s mind being overwhelmed on the Eastern Front.
  34. 1944 Thursday: Whereas once the Nazis and the Finns were allies, now the Finns have no choice with Moscow threatening to annihilate them if they don’t actively aid them militarily in driving the Germans out, the Finns commence fighting with German forces on their territory.  What a turn of events.
  35. 1945 Friday: Private First-Class Desmond T. Doss received the Congressional Medal of Honor for outstanding bravery as a medical corpsman.  He was the first conscientious objector in American history to win the award.

  42. 1971 Tuesday: The rock opera, “Jesus Christ Superstar,” opened on Broadway.  Meanwhile, in Sandy Spring, Maryland, the former 51st U.S. Secretary of State Dean Acheson died.  He served under President Harry S. Truman from January 21, 1949, to January 20, 1953.

  63. 2016 Wednesday: Another woman- Jessica Leeds- leaps atop candidate Donald J. 67. 2020 Monday: President Donald J. Trump says that ‘more breath-taking documents’ are yet to come in the failed Trump-Russian Collusion scam, one the Democrats foisted atop the American people for far too long.  We hope people will indeed be going to prison like fired FBI Director James “The Saint” Comey.  Speaking of the former FBI chief, “Pro-China Joe” Biden says that he will select Comey to be his attorney-general should he win on November 3.  What will Hillary say about that?  Speaking of elections next month, the top U.S. military general says that the ‘U.S. military will play NO role in determining the outcome of next month’s presidential election.’
  68. 2020 Monday A: Today, hearings for Judge Amy Coney Barrett commence in the Senate Judiciary Committee.  Senate minority leader and overall loser Chuck Schumer, D-NY, says he will prevent Democrats from attending when the time comes to vote her onto the floor of the Senate for the full confirmation vote by denying the GOP a quorum.  Uh, okay, senator. Meanwhile, Senator Ben Sasse, R-Nebraska, in his opening remarks at the hearing explains to America’s young people the difference between ‘politics’ and ‘civics.’  He explains the difference between originalism, aka textualism v. judicial activism, as well as how court-packing would forever change not just the court but the U.S. Senate.   Senator Josh Hawley, R-Missouri, says in his remarks that the future of religion is at stake here in the United States and that there are 65 million Catholics and millions more Christians in our country that the liberals want to strip away their First Amendment rights to practice their religion as they see fit.   Elsewhere, a recent poll conducted by John Zogby says that 62-percent of Americans do not believe there should be a ‘religious test’ of candidates for the nation’s courts.

Wade.’  Dingbats like Sen. Richard Blumenthal, D-Connecticut, demand that ‘Judge Barrett recuse herself from any cases involving President Donald J. Trump.’   Regarding Roe v. Wade, Victoria Toensing, former chief counsel for the Senate Intelligence Committee says that ‘Roe should never have come to the court, that it gained legitimacy as an ‘implied right’ under the First Amendment, the implied right to privacy.’  Like many, she believes it should return to state jurisdictions and not federal controls.

  75. 2020 Monday I: Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley breaks with the commander-in-chief President Donald J. Trump by saying HE will decide on the number of troops to leave in Afghanistan.  This is shocking and demonstrates that Gen. Milley cares more about politics and the Democrats’ goal of keeping never-ending wars continuing into infinity.  The time is coming when following the November Elections and a Trump and GOP victory for the president to sack Milley, FBI Director Chris Wray, and CIA Director Gina Haspel.  These three people are working against the president and the American people.  It must end NOW.

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

Well, what is surprising about a British folk band doing a theme album on a British historical character, John Babbacombe Lee, a condemned murderer sent to the gallows.  However, luck saved Mr. Lee because the gallows failed to operate properly not once, not twice, but three separate times thus he received a reprieve.  Obviously, the Good Lord did not want Lee dead.  Fairport Convention released “Babbacombe Lee” on November 24, 1971, but unlike its predecessor- “Angel Delight”- it sold rather poorly.  The band featured the same quartet that recorded that prior album- Simon Nichol (guitars, vocals), Dave Pegg (basses, mandolins, vocals), Dave Swarbrick (fiddle, mandolins, vocals, and viola), and Dave Mattacks (drums and percussion).  Also joining the band were Sandy Denny for vocals on a couple of tracks as well as her beau, Trevor Lucas (rhythm guitar), and Jerry Donahue (lead guitar).  We like this album and know that you will, too, so please, seek it out wherever you shop for the absolute best in music…you will be glad you did.

  66. 2020 Thursday: An amazing scene occurred today in the White House Press Room as reporters- including John Roberts of Fox News Channel- attempted to get White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany to voice that “Donald Trump renounces white supremacism.” She provided numerous examples going back years in which Mr. Trump, both as private citizen and as president of the United States, blasted the notion.  Reporters never will ask “Pro-China Joe” Biden to renounce Antifa and Black Lives Matter nor do they ask him to denounce his son, Hunter, actively colluding with communist China.  At first we were confused but a source we have within the Biden campaign has alluded to the fact that internal polling shows black support for President Donald J. Trump is at an astounding 22-25 percent.  This would explain the amped-up rudeness we are seeing on display.  Adding to this story is the fact that Rush Limbaugh, during the second hour of his show today, has pointed out that the Proud Boys are a mixed group, both racially and ethnically, and that their international head- Enrique Tarrio- is a person of color.  He’s a black Cuban.   Yet, we know that “Pro-China Joe” Biden interacted with segregationists J. William Fulbright, Hermann Talmadge, Strom Thurmond, Robert C. Byrd, George C. Wallace, and numerous other white segregationists.  His own pick for VP called him a ‘racist’ so what the heck?
  67. 2020 Thursday A: The Trump campaign slams the Presidential Debate Commission over it ‘moving the goalposts’ on behalf of “Pro-China Joe” Biden.  Biden supports the moderator being able to cut the mic of Trump- is this a sign of confidence in the Biden-Harris campaign?  We think now.  Meanwhile, ransomware attacks- most likely from communist China and Russia- hammer Tyler Technology, a company that helps report election results in real time.  Tyler says the attacks ‘cannot change votes’ but that they ‘can sow confusion.’  They are working to correct this situation.  Meanwhile, in Los Angeles, California, what was first reported yesterday- that the authorities had arrested the POS shooter of the two sheriff’s deputies as they sat in their patrol car is a fact.  Convicted felon, Deonte Murray, 36-years-old was already in custody for another offenses so they did not have to search far for this scumbag.  Hoist him high and drop him!  Elsewhere, the CDC extends its ‘NO SAIL’ order for all cruise ships until the end of October due to the Xi Jinping Bat Flu.   Finally, President Trump signs a stopgap bill to keep the government funded.
  68. 2020 Thursday B: LEFT-WING, LIBERAL, FAKE NEWS MEDIA attack line on Trump today is “WE DEMAND YOU DENOUNCE WHITE SUPREMACY” in these words.  Everyone in the administration must say this or else.  Friends, it is clear the Democrats are losing black and Latino voters, Telemundo providing a BIG INSIGHT into this shift following Tuesday night’s debate in Cleveland, Ohio.  A whopping 66-percent of viewers said Trump won compared to 33-percent who felt he lost.  This is NOT good for Democrats.  Let’s make them a modern-day incarnation of the Whigs.  Meanwhile, the Cook Political Report says that the Trump campaign is winning the voter registration battle forcing the Biden campaign to begin going door to door in the search for voters.  Speaking of the Biden campaign, WHY is the VP nominee hiding?   Is it because she knows the truth that the Harris-Biden 2020 ticket is going to be one of the all-time greatest landslide losers?   Still the latest poll from Rasmussen says Biden leads Trump 51% to 43%.
  69. 2020 Thursday C: U.S. Border and Customs officers bust 125 pounds of cocaine, worth at least one million in the U.S.- at a border crossing from Mexico into the United States.   The cartels are going to whack somebody somewhere for this mix up…
  70. 2020 Thursday D: Folks, here are the numbers for the Xi Jinping Yellow Fever, Chi-Com Virus, the Wuhan Horseshoe Bat Flu- Pelosi Pox:  Here are the statistics for the planet as a whole: 34,136,078 confirmed cases, +350,900, 1,016,970, confirmed deaths, +6,823, and 23,711,591 confirmed recoveries, +262,257.  Next, here are the stats for the United States, the intended target of the Chinese-engineered Wuhan Virus pandemic: 7,361,455 confirmed cases, up 39,433 from yesterday’s reporting, 210,874 confirmed deaths, UP 751, and 3,930,203 confirmed recoveries, UP 9,283.  Here are the stats for Israel now that Mo is living there: 253,490 confirmed cases, 1,622 confirmed deaths, and 179,468 confirmed recoveries.
  71. 2020 Thursday E: Next, in the three states in which, the world-famous American Institute of Culinary Politics-the Elemental News of the Day employs chef-bloggers- California, Hawaii, and Washington- here are the stats, California first: 822,469 confirmed cases, 15,928 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Next here are the numbers for Hawaii: 12,555 confirmed cases, 139 confirmed deaths, and 10,340 confirmed recoveries.  Finally, here are the stats for leftist-Marxist-socialist hellhole of Washington: 91,603 confirmed cases, 2,222 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Let’s look at one other state: Georgia- currently, they have 319,334 confirmed cases, 7,063 confirmed deaths, but no mention confirmed recoveries- thank you, Governor Brian Kemp for being a Republican who is behaving like a Democrat and staying mum on the recoveries.
  72. 2020 Thursday F: We had a FAIRLY BIG UPSWING in the markets today.  Here are the stats for today’s Stock Market closes: first the DOW Jones Industrial Average, 27,816.90, UP 35.20 points (+0.13%).  Next, here are the stats for the NASDAQ:  11,326.51, UP 159.00 points (+1.42%).  Finally, here are the numbers for the S&P 500: 3,380.80, UP 17.80 points (+0.53%).  Price of GOLD: $1,907.80 per troy oz., -8.50 (-0.44%)  Here is the price of SILVER: $23.84 per troy oz., -0.409 (-1.69%).  Price of PLATINUM: $902.80 per troy oz., -3.20 (-0.35%).  Price of PALLADIUM: $2,328.20 per troy oz., -2.30 (-0.10%).  Here is the price of COPPER: $2.87 per #, +0.002 (+0.07%).   Price of Light Sweet Crude Oil per barrel: $38.36, -0.36 (-0.93%).  Today, one-dollar U.S. = 6.79 PRC yuan whereas one U.S. greenback = 0.85 euros.  Conversely, one-dollar U.S. = 28.88 Taiwanese dollars.  Unemployment now stands at or around 8.4 percent (August).  In April, it was a whopping 14.7-percent.  Right now, approximately 13.5 million Americans are out of work, thanks to Xi Jinping’s Bat Flu.  Jobless claims rose to nearly 850,000 first-time unemployed workers seeking benefits.  Other than on Beijing, the blame rests squarely on the shoulders of House Speaker Nancy “Mumbles” Pelosi who will not come to a COVID-19 relief deal with the Trump White House.  Vote her out on November 3 and send her packing.
  73. 2020 Thursday G: Late this evening, President Donald J. Trump announces that he and First Lady Melania are now COVID-19 positive.  This follows on the news that Hope Hicks, an integral part of the White House team announced earlier in the day that she tested positive for the Chi-Vi..  This means Fox News commentator Chris Wallace now must rush to his doctor just as “Pro-China Joe” Biden will.  Sounds like the 2020 campaign is sputtering to a halt.  Thank you, Chi-Coms, thank you.
  74. 2020 Thursday H:  Here is the result of Thursday Night Football’s game: (1) Thursday Night Football: Denver Broncos, 37 (1-3) @ New York Jets, 28 (0-4).
  75. 2021 Friday:  As you know, we try to anticipate the activities of the Chi-Coms and their Democratic Party flunkies here in the U.S., but we never know what they’re up to until we catch them in the act.  Please stick around and find out.

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

The next album by Jethro Tull hit record store shelves on September 22, 2009: “Live at Madison Square Garden 1978.”  This DVD was LIVE in concert, and it featured mostly tunes from “Songs from the Wood” and “Heavy Horses” plus some much-beloved favorites.  The band featured Ian Anderson (vocals, flutes, guitars, keyboards), Martin Barre (guitars), John Glascock (bass), John Evan (keyboards), Barriemore Barlow (drums), and Dee Palmer (keyboards and synthesizers).  We tend to favor the early four albums over the more modern efforts but still, this is a clever way to see the band in a whole different light.  We hope you will seek it out and consider making it a part of your listening day.  Enjoy.

  60. 2016 Thursday:  The U.S. Congress overrides the veto of President Barack Hussein Obama that will now allow U.S. citizens to sue Saudi Arabia over the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.  Obama did not want people affected by the horrible attacks from suing the Islamic nation.  All but one of the hijackers were from Saudi Arabia; go figure!
  61. 2017 Friday: Tom Price resigned as President Donald J. Trump’s secretary of health and human services amid investigations into his use of costly charter flights for official travel at taxpayer expense.  Meanwhile, Carmen Yulin Cruz, the mayor of San Juan, Puerto Rico, accused the Trump administration of “killing us with the inefficiency” after Hurricane Maria.  We must note that Mayor Cruz is a corrupt politician who was unable to distribute the vast resources that poured into the island following the storm.   Finally, the U.S. issues a no-travel warning to its citizens NOT to go to Cuba due to the ongoing sonic attacks on American citizens.  It also calls home some of the diplomatic staff in Havana thanks to the scurrilous behavior of the communist Cubans.

  64. 2020 Tuesday: A new PEW Poll shows that five percent of Trump and Biden voters MIGHT have their votes changed following tonight’s Round 1 2020 Presidential Debate in Cleveland, Ohio, depending upon who does better.  Meanwhile, Democratic Party presidential nominee “Pro-China Joe” Biden disputes he ever agreed to (1) a break after every 30 minutes and (2) that he agreed to an ear canal check to determine if either participant is wearing an ear device.  Many believe that “Gropin’ Joe” Biden cannot sustain 90 minutes of debate and that he will be seeking every avenue of support or escape.  Rush Limbaugh still speculates that something will arise that will permit “Pro-China Joe” a way out without losing face.  Dr. Jill going to come down with a sudden case of the CHI-VI?  We shall see.  Speaking of Cleveland, shop owners are boarding up windows and securing their facilities as the danger of violent mob ‘protests,’ i.e., out-of-control riots looms ever larger.  Another ‘anti-fascist group,’ Resist Fascism arrives in Cleveland ostensibly to fight against fascism but to serve as the Democratic Party’s Brown Shirts.
  65. 2020 Tuesday A: Judge Amy Coney Barrett arrives on Capitol Hill to begin meeting with lawmakers ahead of October 12 and the first day of confirmation hearings.  At least 6-8 Senate Democrats announce they won’t meet with her as a means of protest.  Meanwhile, New York City schools begin the reopening process as Mayor Bill Di Blasio continues to threaten JEWISH neighborhoods with complete shutdowns if they don’t toe the line and follow his orders.  Speaking of major cities such as New York City, we learn that since June of this year, violent crime rates have soared 53-percent over last year’s rates at the same time.  Clever work, Democrats, clever work.   Elsewhere, on the West Coast, major parts of Sonoma and Napa Counties are ablaze, once again thanks to rampant mismanagement by California Governor Gavin “The Smiler” Newsom.  Like Nero, he continues fiddling, trying to find ways by which, he can continue funding CalPERS at the expense of caring for the state’s forests.  This man must be removed from office before 2022.  Now.
  66. 2020 Tuesday B: Kuwait’s Emir Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad Al-Sabah dies at age 91.  Meanwhile, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson severs his ties with more than 95-percent of his fans by coming out and following communist China’s dictates and endorses the Biden-Harris 2020 ticket.  Rock- you are not only a sleazy opportunist, but you also appear to be a shill for Beijing.  NO MORE ROCK MOVIES! Meanwhile, attorney for Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn- Sidney Powell- updated President Trump on his former National Security Advisor’s case and asked that ‘he not pardon the general.’  She is trying to get Judge Emmet Sullivan to recuse himself from the case or accept the Justice Department’s recommendations to drop the collapsed case. Elsewhere, Project Veritas founder James O’Keefe releases fabulous footage that shows ALLEGEDLY Congresswoman Ilhan “Allah Akbar!” Omar has operatives involved in ballot creation and ballot harvesting.  We hear from sources on the ground in Minnesota that she could very well lose her re-election bid.  Strip her of her citizenship and return her crooked butt to Somalia.
  67. 2020 Tuesday C: Here are today’s Chi-Com Horseshoe Bat Flu Statistics for the globe: 33,484,120 confirmed cases, UP by 327,308 cases, 1,004,082 confirmed deaths, UP by 5,386 deaths, and 23,212,633 confirmed recoveries, UP by 251,197 recoveries.  Here are the numbers for the United States: 7,229,559 confirmed cases, UP by 23,692 new cases, 208,335 confirmed deaths, UP by 217 new deaths, and 3,870,955 confirmed recoveries, UP by 7,882 new recoveries.
  68. 2020 Tuesday D: Next, in the three states in which, the world-famous American Institute of Culinary Politics-The Elemental News of the Day employs chef-authors, California, Hawaii, and Washington, here are the stats, Golden State first: 816,095 confirmed cases, 15,683 confirmed deaths, but as is the norm, NO mention of confirmed recoveries.  Next, here are the stats for the Aloha State: 12,351 confirmed cases, 132 confirmed deaths, and 10,215 confirmed recoveries.  Finally, in the Ever-Red, uh, we mean, the Evergreen State, here are the stats: 90,712 confirmed cases, 2,203 confirmed deaths, but like California, the incline-headed governor, Jay Inslee, won’t share the number of confirmed recoveries.  Shame on these flipping Democrats.  Let’s take a look at one more state, the Empire State: 462,364 confirmed number of cases, 32,743 confirmed number of deaths, and like most other Blue States, NO number of confirmed number of recoveries.   The governor of New York, the drooling moron Andrew Cuomo continues trying to blame President Donald J. Trump for all the Xi Jinping Bat Flu deaths when he is the one who sent COVID-infected people into rest homes where the most vulnerable people are, uh, we mean, were. PUT CUOMO ON TRIAL!  Let us look at Israel’s numbers now that Mo and his wife are relocating there.  Here they are: 233,265 confirmed cases, 1,507 confirmed deaths, and 165,191 confirmed recoveries.  Watch out for the Chi-Com rockets the Hamas goons love firing at innocent Israelis.  We know you are prepared Mo!
  69. 2020 Tuesday E: Here are today’s Stock Market closes: DOW Jones Industrial Average: 27,452.66, DOWN 131.40 points (-0.48%).  Next, the NASDAQ: 11,085.25, DOWN 32.28 points (-0.29%).  Finally, here are the stats for the S&P 500: 3,335.47, DOWN 16.13 points (-0.48%).  The price of GOLD is $1,903.10 per troy oz., -0.10 (-0.01%) while the price of SILVER is $24.42 per troy ounce, -0.002 (-0.08%).  The price of PLATINUM is $882.60 per troy oz, -4.90 (-0.55%) while the price of COPPER is $3.00 per pound, +0.009 (+0.30%).  The price of PALLADIUM is $2,329.30 per troy oz., +57.80 (+2.54%).  The price of Light Sweet Crude Oil is $39.13 per barrel, -0.16 (–0.41%).  Today, COCOA is $2,565.00 per metric ton, +3.00 (+0.12).  As for currency, one U.S. dollar = 6.82 communist Chinese yuan.  By contrast, one U.S. dollar = 0.85 euros.  Communist China manipulates its currency, a known fact which is why the world must disengage with them and bring our supply chain home- ASAP.
  70. 2020 Tuesday F: National Security Director John Ratcliffe released information in a letter to Sen. Lindsey Graham- on the eve of testimony by fired FBI Director James Comey- that Hillary Clinton approved a plan with the Obama administration.  The illegal operation the two cooked up together sought to dirty 2016 GOP presidential candidate Donald J. Trump by tying him to Russian intelligence services.  The question is whether then Director Comey expended the same amount of effort investigating Hillary Clinton as he spent investigating then-candidate Trump, then president- elect Trump, and finally President Donald J. Trump.  Not looking good for the Obamaists coup plotters.  Is prison looming large on the horizon?   Join the Trump Third Term Movement NOW.
  71. 2020 Tuesday G: Regarding to Judge Amy Coney Barrett’s nomination to the U.S. Supreme Court, here is today’s Democratic Party’s and Fake News Media Attack Phrase of the Day: “Illegitimate.”
  72. 2020 Tuesday H: Tonight, is the first debate between presidential contenders, President Donald J. Trump, and former Vice President Joseph R. Biden.  About half-way through the ‘grudge match,’ it would appear that Mr. Biden is managing to survive the ongoing assault from the president.  Moderator Chris Wallace is struggling to maintain control.  We believe- at this junction- that Democrats will say the president is losing due to his belligerence while Republicans will say the president was aggressive and fending off both the former veep and the moderator. This update at 6:48 P.M.  What we will say is the following: it’s an UGLY affair, no-holds barred mud wrestling at its worst.
  73. Thursday 2021 I: Update @ 07:39 p.m.: what a rough 96-minute debate.  President Trump allowed the anger built up after 3.5 years to unload on Vice President Biden.  The former veep managed to remain upright but towards the end of the debate, he was looking a bit wasted.  We suspect the Democrat will cancel the other two debates.  Winner?  We think the president allowed his anger to get the better of him and the former vice president did not drop dead.  What an ugly mess…
  74. 2020 Tuesday J:  Telemundo, the Spanish language media giant released a poll from the first debate between President Donald J. Trump and former Vice President Joe R. Biden.  The poll says President Trump won by a 66-percent margin to 33-percent for Mr. Biden.  Wow.  You go, Spanish speakers!   We have no clue as to what mischief the Chi-Coms and their Democratic Party stooges will be up today but when we find out, you’ll find out so please, stay tuned for further developments such as the numbers for the Xi Jinping Bat Flu…
  75. 2021 Wednesday: Stay tuned…

ENDNOTES:

[i] We presented the music of this British prog-rock band, the amazing King Crimson, beginning on Monday, 20-October-2014 through Sunday, 21-December-2014.  We hope you will check them out and add them to your collection.

[ii] We began promoting the music of Mountain beginning on Friday, 14-December-2012 through Sunday, 20-January-2013.  This also included West, Bruce & Laing but sadly, we overlooked Leslie West’s solo career so please stay tuned for his discography sometime in the next 8-12 years.

[iii] We promoted the music of Iron Butterfly beginning on Saturday, 27-July-2013 through Thursday, 08-August-2013.  We hope you will seek them out and consider adding them to your ever-growing collection of rock music.  Nothing one finds today compares with the classic rock of old.  Throw out your Maroon 5 albums and go with the crème de la crème of the 1960s and 1970s

[iv] We look forward to presenting the music of Grand Funk Railroad sometime in the late 2020s

[v] See footnote i.

[vi] We shared the music of the Stones beginning Tuesday, 22-March-2016 through Sunday, 28-August-2016.  This included the members’ solo projects.  We sure as heck hope you check out the Rolling Stones, Mick Jagger, Brian Jones, Keith Richard, Charlie Watts, Bill Wyman, and Mick Taylor.  Ronnie Wood you can find during the presentation of the Faces.  Sadly, we should have been clairvoyant and presented the music of Marianne Faithful, too.  Perhaps one day we will.

[vii] Sometime within the next decade, we hope to present the music of classic rockers Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, Howlin’ Wolf, Muddy Waters, and numerous others.  We know you will enjoy the presentation so please; remain vigilant for the day we do.

[viii] When we do the music of the old rockers, the Everly Brothers will be among them.  Stay tuned.

[ix] We began promoting the music of the Grateful Dead- including Jerry Garcia, Bob Weir, Mickey Hart, and Phil Lesh- beginning on Tuesday, 30-August-2011 through Wednesday, 11-January-2012.  Then, we did a second series featuring more albums by this fabled San Francisco band beginning on Friday, 09-August-2013 through Monday, 19-August-2013.  At some point, we will have to do a third series as the music from this band never ends.  Please, seek them out and consider adding them to your collection.

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

In this life, you take the good with the bad and the so-so.  The next DVD released by Jethro Tull features a hodgepodge of performances cobbled together by the producers.  “Jack in the Green: Live in Germany 1970-1993” (May 20, 2008) is just that- a mismatch of performances combined, slapped onto DVD and mass produced.  Some fans will proclaim, “Ooh La-La” whereas others will yell, “WTF!”  We hope you will investigate it for yourself and see if it is right for you.  We enjoyed the show but then again, most of us are chronic drinkers so we enjoy most anything.  Please, seek it out now and check it out for yourselves…we think you will be glad you did.
