  62. 2018 Wednesday: After a lengthy illness, longtime songwriting collaborator with Bob Weir of the Grateful Dead[viii]– John Perry Barlow- dies.  Elsewhere, a bipartisan group of U.S. senators announce they have arrived at a new two-year funding agreement but have not come to agreement on an immigration reform bill.   Meanwhile, House Minority Leader Nancy “Mumbles” Pelosi goes to the floor of the people’s house and speaks for eight hours- rivaling thugs like Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez- begging her fellow lawmakers to protect the DREAMers.  Screw ‘em.
  63. 2019 Thursday: The Supreme Court temporarily blocks the new Louisiana abortion law, said to be one of the most restrictive.  Elsewhere, dimwitted Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, aka AOC, aka Baby Evita, aka Sandy Cortez, and Massachusetts Senator Ed Markey, both Democrats, unveil their ‘landmark legislation,’ the Green New Deal which is a backdoor way of stuffing socialism down the throats of the American people by enlisting them in the fight against CLIMATE CHANGE.  What a load of crap.  Meanwhile, U.S. Special Envoy Elliott Abrams rules out negotiations with the thuggish president of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro.  Negotiate at the point of a gun barrel.
  64. 2020 Friday: In communist China, the first doctor who raised the alarm about the COVID-19 threat- Dr. Li Wenliang succumbs to the disease.  Meanwhile, Xi Jinping- the Big Dog in communist China declares a ‘people’s war’ against the devastating virus outbreak.   Next, an Italian man back from Wuhan where he visited his girlfriend is found to have contracted the coronavirus.  Elsewhere, Royal Caribbean Cruises bans travelers from mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macao from boarding any of its ships due to the outbreak.   Finally, President Donald J. Trump begins cleansing the administration of various rats.  He fires two people who testified against him in the trumped-up impeachment trial- Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, a National Security Council adviser, and Gordon Sondland, U.S. ambassador to the European Union.  Good riddance.
  65. 2021 Sunday: Today is Super Bowl LV between the Kansas City Chiefs (16-2) and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (13-5).  We shall see what we shall see.  As far as the National Anthem went, we did not see anyone disrespecting the Flag.  GOOD.  We asked our pool from the previous Third Annual Lavrentiy Beria Award- 1,284 people- to chip in $25 apiece to create a pot and then bet final scores.  The interesting thing about this Super Bowl is that we have 641 members pulling for Kansas City and 643 for Tampa Bay, an almost 50/50 split. I wish I had gone with the Bucs- Chef Cheryl.
  66. 2021 Sunday A: Here are the COVID-19 statistics for the planet as a whole: 105,995,961 confirmed cases, +534,280, 2,313,477, confirmed deaths, +12,586, and 59,041,531 confirmed recoveries, +396,519.  Next, here are the stats for the United States, the intended target of the Chinese-engineered Wuhan Virus pandemic: 27,150,916 confirmed cases, up 96,207 from yesterday’s reporting, 465,861 confirmed deaths, UP 2,771, and 11,166,500 confirmed recoveries- same as reported for nearly two weeks now.  It would appear in the age of ‘Joe Biden,’ people are becoming sicker with the Chinese Virus and dying faster than they did under Donald Trump.  Time to impeach this pathetic, senile moron.  NOW.   NOTE: SINCE JOE BIDEN BECAME PRESIDENT ON JANUARY 20, 2021, THERE HAVE BEEN 137,433 CHI-VI DEATHS IN THE U.S.  Joe, YOU claimed you had a plan to defeat the communist virus, what the hell are YOU going to do about it- sit on your ass and blame everything on Donald Trump.  (Speaking of dimwits, how long is White House press secretary Jen “Circle Back” Psaki going to keep her job?  Talk about dismal, she’s like a deer in headlights).
  67. 2021 Sunday B: Next, in the three states in which, the world-famous American Institute of Culinary Politics-the Elemental News of the Day employs chef-bloggers- California, Hawaii, and Washington- here are the stats, California first: 3,406,890 confirmed cases, 43,987 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Next here are the numbers for Hawaii: 26,393 confirmed cases, 416 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Finally, here are the stats for Washington: 323,748 confirmed cases, 4,527 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Let us look at one other piece of the United States- Ohio: currently, they have 920,217 confirmed cases, 11,659 confirmed deaths, and NO mention of confirmed recoveries.  Now that Mo has relocated to Israel, let’s look at the statistics there: 685,583 confirmed cases, 5,071 confirmed deaths, and 609,374 confirmed recoveries.  News reports mention that today is the eighth day in a row in which, the United States has fewer than 100,000 hospitalizations for the Xi Jinping Bat Flu per day.  Are we on a trajectory to getting past this evil s**t?
  68. 2021 Sunday C: Now that Claudia Tenney, R-NY, has reclaimed her seat from Democrat Anthony Brindisi, Speaker Nancy “Mumbles” Pelosi’s majority in the House of Representatives is a mere 221-212.  Next year, the GOP is going to win back the House and expel “Mumbles.”  Meanwhile, communist Democrat Ayanna Pressley, D-Massachusetts, is moaning and groaning about Chi-Vi vaccine ‘redlining’ for black folks.  Chef Bea O’Malley, longtime chef-author here at the world famous American Institute of Culinary Politics-the Elemental News of the Day wrote earlier this year that ‘any time white liberals encourage black folks to do something for their BENEFIT is when black folks should be on high alert.’  It appears that dimwit Rep. Pressley has not gotten the message yet.2021 Sunday D: Dingbat Jake Tapper said on CNN that the ‘more MAGA ‘supporters’ are arrested the more they point to President Donald J. Trump’s rhetoric as being the driving factor in them storming Capitol Hill on January 6.’  What a dumb ass, folks, everyone now knows beyond the shadow of a doubt that ANTIFA infiltrated the ranks of legitimate Trump supporters and encouraged the violence on Capitol Hill on January 6.  Sources tell us that Trump supporters when scooped up are the ones remaining in jail while the Antifa trash are quietly released thanks to the bail funds established for this communist garbage.  Tapper needs to wake up and smell the truth.
  69. 2021 Sunday E: The people behind Joe Biden are seeking a way to reenter the Iranian nuclear deal, the JCPOA.   Secretary of State Anthony Blinken says, “Iran must return to the nuke deal before the United States does.”   The foreign minister of Iran- Javad Zarif tells Jake Tapper that ‘Iran never left the nuclear deal whereas the United States did’ and that the U.S. must lift all sanctions and return to the deal before the Islamic Republic ever will.  It sounds as though we have an Iranian standoff.   We always say, “NUKE THEM.”   Meanwhile, the Biden administration wants to increase the number of refugees admitted into the United States per year from the 15,000 authorized under the Trump administration to 62,500 as a start.  AS A START.  Ye gods, Joe.
  70. 2021 Sunday F: On Fareed Zakaria GPS on CNN, Chinese ambassador to the United States Cui Tiankai says ‘Chinese foreign policy is a policy for peace’ and that his nation signing friendship deals with neighboring countries will bring peace and tranquility to the region.’  When pressed by Zakaria on the Uighurs, Tiankai says, “The Uighurs are happy and that the Uighur camps are NOT labor camps but job training centers.’  As for claims that Uighur women are routinely raped by Chi-Com guards, Tiankai says, ‘Nope, no truth in this.’  Uh, okay.  Can we look forward to similar ‘job training centers’ here in the U.S. under Democratic-Socialist leadership?  Remember: Macht Arbeit Frei– so said the Nazis…Tiankai also said that ‘people can make allegations about Chi-Coms responsibility for the Wuhan Virus Crisis but must prove those allegations before making them.’  He also said scientists ‘must look at other countries before criticizing his country.’
  71. 2021 Sunday G: Speaking of the Chi-Coms and their malign interference around the world, we learned that the leaders of the military junta that overthrew and imprisoned Myanmar leader Sun Suu Kyi met with their counterparts in Beijing within the past few weeks.  And the Chi-Coms claim they are for peace in the region and the world.  Elsewhere, One America News’ Chanel Rion points out that ‘Hunter Biden becoming an artist and an art dealer is a great way to rake in millions to billions of dollars as buyers of fine art do not have to disclose their identities.’  Can we expect to see ‘works’ of Hunter Biden retailing for millions of dollars?  The Democrats never miss out on ways of self-enrichment.
  72. 2021 Sunday H: U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen claims that ‘IF Congress passes Joe Biden’s $1.9 trillion COVID-19 Relief-Stimulus Bill, the U.S. could see full employment by next year but alludes to the unemployment level returning to what it was prior to the Chinese lab-engineered pandemic most likely won’t happen until sometime in 2024.  Friends, we have been over this: the Biden administration is going to destroy job growth and wages with a triple whammy: (1) raising the minimum wage to $15 per hour will destroy 1 in 4 jobs; (2) not having a plan for the pandemic and an unwillingness of teacher unions to return to the job; and (3) throwing open the borders to millions of low-skilled to no-skilled workers who will work for less.  In Democratic administrations, NO one ever seems to be brought to justice over firing American workers, hiring illegal workers, and paying the scum under the table.
  73. 2021 Sunday I: Republican Congressman Andrew Clyde, Georgia’s 9th congressional district, says he believes the metal detectors emplaced by House Speaker Nancy “Mumbles” Pelosi are ‘unconstitutional.’  We agree.  He also says he will ‘risk the fines imposed by “Mumbles” for seeking to skip passing through them.  Good.   Meanwhile, in Wyoming, state Republicans say that Congresswoman Liz Cheney, the No. 3 in GOP House leadership, is going to have to repay the state’s GOP treasury for all monies given to this Democrat, uh, we mean ‘RINO Republican.’  Elsewhere, since Donald Trump’s “Art of the Comeback” is out of print, at Amazon.com, it’s now up to nearly $900 per copy.   Finally, Twitter permanently suspends Gateway Pundit founder Jim Hoft and famed broadcaster Wayne Allyn Root for violating their civic integrity policy or some BS such as that.

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

Waysted returned with their third effort with a somewhat slimmed-down band.  “The Good, the Bad, and the Waysted” came out on September 15, 1986 and featured Pete Way (bass), Fin Muir (vocals), Paul Chapman (guitars) augmented by Humble Pie drummer Jerry Shirley and Jimmy DeLeila (guitars/keyboards/vocals).  One tune from the album “Hang ‘em High” received radio airplay which was good as it allowed the band to receive much-deserved attention.  We enjoy this album and we know you will, too, so please, seek it out, give it a good listen, and consider adding it to your collection- you will be glad you did.  We guarantee it.

WINTER SESSION 2021

BLOG POST #3,752 AT THE AICP-END

DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2022: 639

I predict Kansas City will beat Tampa Bay today by a final score of 48-45

Honolulu, HI 96782, 02-07-2021 Sunday:  Today is the day, Super Bowl LV, one of the biggest games in the history of the sport.  We have the current reigning champions in the Kansas City Chiefs going to Tampa Bay to play Tom Brady’s Buccaneers.  I am telling you common sense would say go with KC because Patrick Mahomes is crazy good but when Tom Brady is in the mix, never say never– especially when he is on the verge of making history by winning another ring playing for a different team and in a different conference.  I mean, wow and were it not for COVID-19, we would be doing landmark business today but sadly will be home watching the game.

The Tom Brady-led New England Patriots lost three Super Bowls out of nine appearances- two to the New York Giants (XLII and XLVI) and one to the Philadelphia Eagles (LII).  They almost lost one to the Atlanta Falcons (LI) but managed to overcome a huge deficit in that wild game and won one of the all-time great Super Bowl shootouts.

The two that the Brady-led Patriots lost were matchups in which, the Patriots should have won- especially the second meeting- but for some reason known ONLY to God, Eli Manning beat him and his team BOTH times.

While I am not saying that Eli Manning is like Patrick Mahomes or that Patrick Mahomes is like Eli Manning, I think when Brady goes up against an off-the-wall QB like Eli Manning was in his prime, he has problems.  Eli Manning was able to win two wild games and I suspect that if I were laying money down for today’s game, I would put it on Mahomes as that kid is crazy good.

The Super Bowl that Tom Brady and the Patriots lost to the Eagles was to a team that unlike the Atlanta Falcons was NOT content to rest on a big lead it worked at acquiring from the get-go but kept on pushing and pushing and pushing until the final play of the game.  Nick Foles did what Matt Ryan could not do and that was to continue having faith in his and his team mates’ abilities to continue pushing for points every time they possessed the ball.

Even more amazing is that Nick Foles was the backup quarterback and should not even have been in the game had not the starter been injured and out of the running.  Neither before nor since has Foles had the same kind of success he had in the game but on that day, he outplayed one of the all-time greatest quarterbacks in NFL history.

While no one knows what the outcome will be today, I am going to go with Patrick Mahomes and Kansas City over Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Bucs.  I know I am most likely making the mistake of my life because Brady- with an opportunity to do something no other quarterback in the history of the game has ever pulled off- to win rings in two different conferences and with two different teams- will rise to the occasion to be sure.

I guess what I am gambling on is the fact that Patrick Mahomes is unpredictable as is his coach Andy Reid.  Coach Reid faced the Patriots long ago in Super Bowl XXXIX when he coached the Eagles and Donovan McNab was his quarterback.  In that game, the Patriots won by just a field goal but it’s clear that had not McNab run out of steam in the second half, they might have won that one.  Ah, well, hindsight being what it is, we have to look at things as they presently are and I am sure Coach Reid wants to beat Brady no matter what team for which he’s playing.[i]

We put the query to our pool of 1,284 friends, family, employees, coworkers, neighbors, and everyone else who participated in the Third Annual Lavrentiy Beria Award and here is what they’ve said: 641 are betting on the Kansas City Chiefs and 643 are going with Tampa Bay.  Everyone in the pool has put in $25 to make a pot of $32,100.  We went by scores and whoever comes the closest will win the pot.

Everyone has given us final scores, even with Kansas City or Tampa Bay at the top.  We have compiled them and we will see whoever comes the closest.  Other than that, we aren’t going to say much as we don’t want the IRS to come snooping around- and you wonder WHY we write with assumed names.

Friends, we will meet again.  Have a great next six months and we shall see what we shall see  Aloha.

We continue offering CDs today by the greatest San Francisco band of all time, the Jefferson Airplane.  The band’s twenty-second album, “At the Family Dog Ballroom 09/1969,” hit record store shelves on September 02, 2008 and was another historical live recording from out of the vaults.  This album is a great CD and it featured the band back at home from their lengthy 1969 Tour of the United States for a fleeting time.  Later in the year, they would appear at the infamous Altamont Concert with the Rolling Stones and other San Francisco/California bands.  We urge you to visit the Amazon.com website, so you can pick it up at the price that is perfect for YOU.

ENDNOTES:

[i] I will say this: I have considered that we could also have a ‘set up’ meaning like the great boxing matches of old, we could see the Tampa Bay Bucs beat the Chiefs today which would set up a rematch next year if both teams return to the top of the league for a rematch in Super Bowl LVI.  The stakes would be higher, the money spent on betting even more massive, sort of like the classic heavyweight matches between ‘Smokin’ Joe’ Frazier and Muhammad Ali.  It’s almost as if the outcomes are ‘arranged’ for maximum entertainment and monetary value although I do hope that this is not the case.  Still, can you imagine such an event if the Bucs should win this time around and both teams fight to the top of the heap in the 2021-22 NFL Season?  Whoa.

Gov. Justin Fairfax- has his own problems.  In more #MeToo allegations, a woman who worked for the lieutenant governor accuses him of rape, of forced sodomy and the like.  What is going on in this once reputable state?  What is up with all these Democrats?  The state’s AG- Mark Herring- says, ‘yup, I wore blackface at a party back in 1980 while in college.’  Folks, the Democrats always accuse their political enemies of being RACISTS yet here are three bigwig Democrats and two of them are racists and one a sexual offender.  You can’t make this stuff up, folks, you simply cannot.
  58. 2020 Thursday: Following a speech by President Trump at the National Prayer Breakfast, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi goes to the microphone banks and gives one of her most incoherent, rambling, ambling speeches yet, attacking the president, condemning the president, and trying to justify tearing up the president’s speech at Tuesday night’s SOTU address.  How this senile crone clings to power is beyond millions of Americans; we expect her to pay the price on Election Day 2020 becoming the first House speaker to lose the position not once but twice, along with her congressional seat.  Later, President Trump thanked his supporters in both House and Senate, as well as his cabinet members, and other assembled VIPS.  The speech was absolutely wonderful and concluded with the president’s determination to help as many Republicans win or keep their seats in November.  Godspeed, Mr. President, Godspeed.  Meanwhile, in China, more and more images come out via social media showing the outbreak of the corona virus to be far worse than what the communist authorities claim.  We think a biological warfare experiment went awry and now the world is going to pay the price for their bumbling.  Thank you, President Xi, thank you.
  59. 2021 Saturday:  One America News reports that thousands of Americans are receiving tax forms for unemployment insurance for which they did not file.  Next, the TSA announces that passengers who refuse to wear facemasks could face fines of up to $1,500 per citation.  Meanwhile, a recent Rasmussen poll says that most Americans do not believe the ‘news media’ is aggressive with Joe Biden as it was with President Donald J. Trump.  We concur.  Elsewhere, the CEO of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce- Thomas Donohue- announces that he will be leaving his position in favor of Suzanne Clark.  Finally, President Donald J. Trump returns to social media with a post on Gab.
  60. 2021 Saturday A: In New York’s 22nd U.S. House District, the one in which, Republican Claudia Tenney finally won her old seat back, Democrat Anthony Brindisi, the beaten Democrat, is now crying about the Dominion Voting Systems and Smartmatic software.  IF you agree to taking another LOOK into the 2020 Presidential Election and how it was stolen from one candidate and given to another, perhaps we will take another look at this House race.  Otherwise, STFU.   Elsewhere, Joe Biden has stripped President Donald J. Trump of his security clearance.   Speaking of Joe Biden, he’s bringing back the ‘President’s weekly radio address.’  Let’s look for an earpiece folks so we can know that someone is putting words in his ear.   Finally, the U.S. Supreme Court partially lifts California’s ban on church gatherings.
  61. 2021 Saturday B: Congressman Hakeem Jeffries, D-NY, says that to accept the GOP counter COVID-19 bill is to commit ‘unconditional surrender.’  Elsewhere, the people are Myanmar are out in the streets protesting the coup against their government even with the Internet shut down.  The interesting thing about this is the Biden administration is upset about the coup in Burma but could care less that he won the 2020 Presidential Election via a…coup.  The Democrats, the RINOs, the Chi-Coms, and Canada- among others- conspired to topple President Trump and to then shove the senile usurper into his place.  What the flaming f**k?
  62. 2021 Saturday C: COVID-19 Daily Update:  Here are the statistics for the planet as a whole: 105,461,681 confirmed cases, +238,473, 2,300,891, confirmed deaths, +7,628, and 58,645,012 confirmed recoveries, +144,616.  Next, here are the stats for the United States: 27,054,709 confirmed cases, up 78,221 from yesterday’s reporting, 463,090 confirmed deaths, UP 1,837, and 11,166,500 confirmed recoveries- NO more updates on this number thanks to Joe Biden, going on for nearly as long as #46 has been in the White House.  Coincidence?  You be the judge.  NOTE- in the White House 17 DAYS, apparently the U.S. will NO longer report the number of recoveries.  Shame on you, Chi-Com Joe.   NOTE: SINCE JOE BIDEN BECAME PRESIDENT ON JANUARY 20, 2021, THERE HAVE BEEN 134,662 CHI-VI DEATHS IN THE U.S.  Joe, talk is cheap, what are YOU going to do about it?  Maybe you will be a worse murderer than Andrew “Killer” Cuomo is in the Empire State?
  63. 2021 Saturday D: Next, in the three states in which, the world-famous American Institute of Culinary Politics-the Elemental News of the Day employs chef-bloggers- California, Hawaii, and Washington- here are the stats, California first: 3,395,385 confirmed cases, 43,647 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Next here are the numbers for Hawaii: 26,286 confirmed cases (again, Hawaii is no longer reporting their case numbers in more than a week), 416 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Finally, here are the stats for leftist-Marxist-socialist hellhole of Washington: 323,334 confirmed cases, 4,526 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Let us look at one other piece of the country: Georgia.  Currently, they have 932,912 confirmed cases, 14,858 confirmed deaths, but NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Now that Mo has relocated to Israel, let’s look at the statistics there: 680,856 confirmed cases, 5,020 confirmed deaths, and 590,822 confirmed recoveries.  For the heck of it, let’s look at one other country: the United Kingdom.  The UK has 3.929,835 confirmed cases, 112,092 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed deaths.  What a load of crap, share the TRUTH!
  64. 2021 Saturday E: The Biden administration ends another Trump era agreement, this one in which, asylum-seeking illegal aliens were able to be returned back to El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras.  Oh, thank you, Joe, for swarming our country with millions more illegal aliens to whom you are going to grant citizenship.  Can the country survive?  Elsewhere, Michigan is the first state revamping the state’s GOP leadership and folks, they are recruiting strong Trump supporters which is good.   Meanwhile, Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers wins his third NFL MVP Award making him only the sixth person in NFL history to win three or more such honors.  Congratulations, Aaron.   Finally, the now discredited Lincoln Project continues imploding as yet another phony- in this case, Jennifer Horn- threw in the towel following disclosures about gay sex addict John Weaver.
  65. 2021 Saturday F: Here are the results for the Super Lotto Draw #3532 with an $18 million jackpot on the line: 04, 16, 32, 35, 45, and Mega 17.  Out of 108,912 winning tickets, the highest winners were two people who had FIVE numbers but no Mega for a prize of $19,457 apiece.  Next, here are the numbers for the Powerball Draw #818 with a $30 million jackpot up for grabs: 01, 16, 48, 49, 65, and Power 08.  Out of 54,318 winning tickets, the highest winner was ONE person who had FOUR numbers plus the Powerball for a prize of $27,839.
  66. 2021 Saturday G: The former 60th U.S. Secretary of State George P. Schultz died at his home in Stanford, California, at age 100 today.  A Republican, he served under President Ronald Reagan / served from 07-16-1982 to 01-20-1989.

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

UFO Mk. II went out on the road in support of their “Misdemeanor” album and thus we have “Misdemeanor Tour,” an album that hit record store shelves (when record stores still existed- well maybe we still have a few in places where Democrats and their COVID-19 restrictions don’t stifle business)  and the band that recorded the studio album went out on the road in support of it.  This is a glorious addition to the “UFO” catalog in much the same way when both Joe Perry and Brad Whitford dumped Aerosmith back in the 1980s and Steven Tyler carried on with Jimmy Crespo and Rick Dufay.  We think you will find this album absolutely glorious which is why we are wholeheartedly behind it.  We hope you will seek this one and add it to your collection- you will enjoy it.

It now is apparent that Joe Biden is going to be the MOST Pro-Death president and that U.S. taxpayers will now fund this global Holocaust- what have we done?

While I hate sounding wishy-washy, I must stick to my principles. I allowed my allegiance to the party in which, I have devoted my entire life to sway my views last November. Instead of creating a list in which, I laid out the issues of importance to me, I allowed groupthink and social coercion to force me to cast a vote for Biden-Harris when in truth, I knew they were not going to keep their word on many things nor would they stand up for the sanctity of life.

WINTER SESSION 2021

BLOG POST #3,751 AT THE AICP-END

DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2022: 640

I’ve been torn over this past election…

Honolulu, HI 96782, 02-06-2021 Saturday:  One of the big problems I have with current leadership of the Democratic Party is the fact that life means little to nothing to them.  They act as though everyone in the party is a bloodthirsty, Pro-Choice radical when in fact, that is simply not true.  Abortion has been one of the big drivers for my family and me due to our Mormonism and was among the reasons why my family and I were more in Donald Trump’s camp than we were for most of the Democrats who were running for the nomination of our party back in 2020.  Although we voted for Joe on November 03, almost immediately we began having pangs of guilt because Joe must be one of the most Pro-Death candidates any of us have seen in a long, long time.

Most people can accept abortion within the first trimester; however, abortion after that, in the second or third trimesters is unarguably barbaric and more in line with the thinking in communist countries where life has little to no meaning than with the champion of human rights, individual freedoms, and liberties as the United States was known for many, many years.  As a member of the LDS Church, I am opposed to abortion in all but the most extreme circumstances and I would have thought that a devout Catholic like Joe Biden would have gone in a similar direction than what it appears he now is- the abolition of the Hyde Amendment and the Mexico City Policy- so that U.S. taxpayer dollars can be used for abortions worldwide.[i]

All Pro-Life persons cannot accept our tax dollars being used for abortion services not just here in our country but across the world because in essence, it is blackening ALL our souls because we have a hand- albeit a somewhat indirect one- in every abortion funded with U.S. taxpayer dollars.

This is like us giving a potential mass shooter money for a gun, we can claim we did not know what he or she was going to do with the gun our money bought but when he or she goes out and kills 20 people, we are as responsible for the shooter’s actions as he or she is, if not in the eyes of the law then in the eyes of the Lord.

Look, I get it, WE get it, Donald Trump was an ogre of a man.  Based on that alone, it is easy to dislike him, to not come to his rescue when he needed it most; however, he was the strongest defender of the unborn we have seen in a long, long time so I will now say, I regret the fact that my spouse and I didn’t vote him for him last November.  I should have been like the rest of his supporters that when he’s on TV saying things with which, we don’t agree, we go to another channel but when it comes to defending LIFE at all stages, he wins kudos from across the world.

Here is my list of positives for Donald Trump: first, he was the GREATEST defender of life at all stages, the unborn, the disabled, and the elderly.  Second, he was for ALL Americans doing better economically no matter who they are, where they lived, and what their backgrounds were.  Third, he was for a strong country, a strong military, secure borders, and for school choice.

Conversely, what I didn’t like was first, him being a braggart, for talking crap, for his constant Twitter battles, and his verbal assaults on his numerous political enemies.   Each of these things is at a personal level, not at a nationwide level so I allowed my personal dislikes to be the deciding factor when it came to casting my vote rather than allowing the things of importance to me to guide my hand.

I fear we may never have an opportunity to rectify our mistakes this past Election Day what with the drastic changes coming our way if the Democrats get H.R. 1 pushed through, an act this will forever lessen the impact voting has in our country.

Concerned about this, I now hold my head in my hands and lament the fact that I might have made a difference had I not permitted my personal likes and dislikes to force me to vote against our nation’s best interests.  It is clear that abortion and behavioral issues are going to increase as the Biden-Harris administration is going to push abortion like never before just as it will flying the rainbow flag at every embassy around the world.

Those who know me know we have no problem with the LGBTQIA+ community here in Hawaii because we have perhaps the largest gay community outside New York and California.  What we don’t need is ‘recruitment’ of our kids through making it seem like choosing to be gay is just another ‘lifestyle’ like abortion is ‘just another form of birth control,’ neither of which is true.

Let me know what you think- we will pick back up tomorrow.  Aloha.

That said, I began my career in the early 1970’s when I apprenticed to cook under one of the masters on the Big Island where I was born.  I moved to Oahu in the early 1980’s after having worked in both Kona and Hilo, HI, and have been there for most of my professional career.

Moreover, I have also worked on Maui for a few years (1995-1998) and have been on Kauai (2001-2003) before returning to Honolulu.  My goal is to prepare the next generation of chefs for the future and to help the underprivileged in their struggle to attain careers in the foodservice industry.

  51. 2012 Sunday: The New York Giants beat the New England Patriots by a score of 21-17 to win Super Bowl XLVI at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.  This was the second time the Giants beat the Patriots in the Super Bowl putting an end to the once vaunted New England team.  Giants quarterback, Eli Manning, beat Pats’ quarterback Tom Brady to put a period to the dominance of one of the NFL’s greatest teams, the Patriots.
  52. 2013 Tuesday:  Founder Michael Dell leads a consortium that announced plans to take Dell private with a $24.4 billion leveraged buyout deal – the largest buyout seen since the recession.
  53. 2014 Wednesday: New York Governor Mario Cuomo plans to announce executive action to loosen marijuana laws, allowing use of the drug for medical purposes.  Meanwhile, Benigno Aquino III, president of the Philippines, considers the territorial claims China has made in the South China Sea comparable to the Nazi Germany invasion of Czechoslovakia.
  54. 2015 Thursday: RadioShack, the U.S. electronics retailer founded in 1921, files for bankruptcy; the company plans to sell up to half of its stores to Sprint and close the remainder.
  55. 2016 Friday: The Zika outbreak continues running amok in tropical climes around the world.  Both Colombia and Puerto Rico are in ‘states of emergency’ over the numbers of sick and suspected carriers of the dreaded mosquito-born illness.  Elsewhere, news media reports that WHITE SUPREMACISTS in New Hampshire have formed a ‘Super PAC’ to help support Donald J. Trump achieve the GOP presidential nomination.  Wow.
  56. 2017 Sunday: In Super Bowl LI—perhaps the best super bowl in more than a decade—the New England Patriots overcome a 25-point deficit to beat the Atlanta Falcons in overtime by a score of 34-28.  Tom Brady—the Patriots’ quarterback—won his fifth super bowl ring and overcame a four-game suspension at the beginning of the 2016-17 Season for his part in ‘Deflate-Gate.’  Say what you will, the Patriots now have become the all-time GREATEST NFL team in the history of the sport and the record will remain unbroken for decades—our prediction.  Elsewhere, Turkish police carry out a blitz across their country and arrest more than 400 ISIS thugs on their soil.
  57. 2018 Monday: Following a precipitous drop in U.S. markets, markets across the globe begin to tumble.  The DOW Jones Industrial Average took a drop of more than 1,600 points at midday.  Elsewhere, Israel sends deportation notices to 40,000 Sub-Saharan African ‘asylum seekers.’  Leave or be jailed.  Period.
  58. 2019 Tuesday:  U.S. President Donald J. Trump delivers his second State of the Union Address to the 116th Congress.  During his SOTU address, he tells the American people that he and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un will have a second summit, this one in Hanoi, Vietnam, one that will occur on February 27 and 28.
  59. 2020 Wednesday: The U.S. Senate took their votes on the articles of impeachment against President Donald John Trump today.  On Article I- Abuse of Power- the Senate voted 52-48 with only RINO Utah Senator Mitt Romney joining the Democrats.  This was not enough to convict the president.  On Article II- Obstruction of Congress- the senators voted 53-47 not to convict.  Acquitted on both charges, the president has been cleared and can continue making America ‘great again.’   Meanwhile, back in Utah, lawmakers there drafted a bill that would allow Utahans to recall a senator from the state for dereliction of duty.   Meanwhile, the family of actor Kirk Douglas reports his death at the age of 103.
  60. 2020 Wednesday A: The Diamond Princess docked in Yokohama Bay, Japan, is under official quarantine, all 3,700 passengers and crew because 10 people for sure have the Chi-Vi- COVID-19.  Elsewhere, in the Iowa Caucus, Senator Bernie Sanders and Mayor Pete Buttigieg are in a virtual tie with 97-percent of the precincts reporting.  Meanwhile, Human Rights Watch reports that 138 asylum seekers from El Salvador have been raped, tortured, and/or murdered (or all three) after the EVIL Trump administration deported them.  Tragic.
  61. 2021 Friday: One America News and Mike Lindell presented “Absolute Proof” today in which, ALL the evidence related to the Democratic Party-RINO Republican Party STOLE the 2020 Presidential Election for enfeebled Joe Biden in the hours following Election Day November 3, 2020.  The evidence is precise, clear, and shocking and if people are genuinely interested in knowing how the Democrats, the RINOs and the Chi-Coms stole the election from Donald Trump and gave it to “Pro-China Joe” Biden, all one need do is to watch the show in its entirety.   Speaking of RINOs, the Nebraska GOP is moving to censure Senator Ben Sasse.   Speaking of losers, the effort to recall California Governor Gavin Newsom is fast approaching the finish line.  We want to boot that POS out of office ASAP.
  62. 2021 Friday A: The U.S. Senate votes to keep the U.S. embassy in Jerusalem permanently much to the horror of rabid Anti-Semites such as Democrats Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan “Allah Akbar” Omar, among others.  Meanwhile, the IRS backtracks from its mistaken statement that more than 100,000 Americans won’t qualify for the Joe Biden stimulus.  Speaking of ‘Pro-China Joe’ Biden, he says the economy is in ‘bad shape’ and that the Republicans are not doing enough to help him help the economy.   Speaking of Democrats, the Virginia votes to abolish the DEATH PENALTY.  Meanwhile, a bipartisan group of lawmakers are trying to achieve a separate vaccine package separate from the stimulus efforts.
  63. 2021 Friday B: Famed actor Christopher Plummer dies at age 91.  Elsewhere, the Russian physician who initially treated Kremlin critic Alexei Navalny has ‘mysteriously died.’  The Curse of Putin strikes again.  Meanwhile, the United Nations reappoints Michael Bloomberg as its global climate envoy.  Woo-oo.  Finally, National Security Council principals convene to ‘discuss Iran.’  Wow.  There is ONLY one thing to do with Iran and that is to NUKE THEM.   Finally, we learn that President Donald J. Trump is planning a so-called ‘revenge tour’ which will see him touring the country in support of pro-Trump candidates while blasting the scumbag RINOs and Democratic Party bottom-feeders and lowlifes who STOLE the 2020 Presidential Election or who refused to view the abundant evidence of voter fraud and corruption.
  64. 2021 Friday C: Yesterday, the House of Representatives voted to remove Georgia Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene from her two committee assignments- Budget and the Education & Labor Committee.  All the Democrats voted in lockstep as did 11 Republicans.  Here is the list of Republicans who joined the other side: (a) Adam Kinzinger of Illinois; (b) Brian Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania; (c) Fred Upton of Michigan; (d) Mario Díaz-Balart of Florida; (e) Nicole Malliotakis of New York (we are surprised she did this); (f) John Katko of New York; (g) Young Kim of California; (h) Chris Smith of New Jersey; (i) Carlos Gimenez of Florida; (j) Chris Jacobs of New York; and (k) Maria Salazar of Florida.  It is interesting to note that Kinzinger, Katko, and Upton also voted to impeach Donald Trump a second time.  Disgusting.
  65. 2021 Friday D: Here are the numbers for the COVID-19 global pandemic, the planet first: 105,223,208 confirmed cases, +538,813, 2,293,263, confirmed deaths, +15,673, and 58,500,396 confirmed recoveries, +335,421.  Next, here are the stats for the United States: 26,976,488 confirmed cases, up 184,705 from yesterday’s reporting, 461,253 confirmed deaths, UP 6,861, and 11,166,500 confirmed recoveries same as it’s been since ‘Pro-China Joe’ moved into the White House.  NOTE- in the White House 17 DAYS, apparently the U.S. will NO longer report the number of recoveries.  Shame on you, Chi-Com Joe.   NOTE: SINCE JOE BIDEN BECAME PRESIDENT ON JANUARY 20, 2021, THERE HAVE BEEN 56,441 CHI-VI DEATHS IN THE U.S.  Joe, you said you had a plan- where the f**k is it?
  66. 2021 Friday E: Next, in the three states in which, the world-famous American Institute of Culinary Politics-the Elemental News of the Day employs chef-bloggers- California, Hawaii, and Washington- here are the stats, California first: 3,381,278 confirmed cases, 43,062 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Next here are the numbers for Hawaii: 26,187 confirmed cases, 416 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Finally, here are the stats for Washington: 321,940 confirmed cases, 4,492 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Let us look at one other piece of the United States: Illinois- currently, they have 1,140,341 confirmed cases, 21,497 confirmed deaths, and no mention of confirmed recoveries.  Now that Mo has relocated to Israel, let’s look at the statistics there: 675,618 confirmed cases, 5,001 confirmed deaths, and 589,718 confirmed recoveries.   Speaking of the China Virus, the Pentagon says it will help ‘Pro-China Joe’ Biden to deliver the Chi-Vi vaccine to the American people, something President Donald J. Trump planned to do.  Meanwhile, Roger Goodell, NFL commissioner, says he will open all 32 NFL stadiums as mass vaccination sites.  We at the AICPENDBLOG.COM will await everyone to receive their vaccinations first and then after inmates, illegal aliens, and everyone else in the groups Democrats and RINOs love, we will consider getting ours after we observe what happens to the Chosen Groups.
  67. 2021 Friday F: For a laugh, let’s look at the Chi-Coms’ numbers- they say they have 89,619 cases, +241 from last week, 4,636 confirmed deaths (same as one week ago), and 83,467 confirmed recoveries, +527 from last week.  This, of course, is ALL BULLS**T.  When we had contacts in Hong Kong, they said ‘times the numbers by 100, 150, or 200 times and you would get a somewhat closer picture.’  Vermin-eating scum.
  68. 2021 Friday G:  Here are today’s Stock Market closes: DOW Jones Industrial Average: 31,148.24, UP 92.38 points (+0.30%).  Next, the NASDAQ: 13,856.30, UP 78.55 points (+0.57%).  Finally, here are the stats for the S&P 500: 3,886.83, UP 15.09 points (+0.39%). Markets are UP because they believe ‘Pro-China Joe’ Biden is going to borrow TRILLIONS from the Chi-Coms.  We still predict that by June 2021, the triple whammy of a $15 minimum wage, ongoing pandemic politics, and massive illegal aliens numbers are going to tank the economy worse than 1929.  The price of GOLD is $1,815.20 per troy oz., +2.20 (+0.12%) while the price of SILVER is $27.04 per troy ounce, +0.02 (+0.06%).  The price of PLATINUM is $1,137.80 per troy oz, +4.80 (+0.42%) while the price of COPPER is $3.64 per pound, +0.01 (+0.39%).  The price of PALLADIUM is $2,352.00 per troy oz, +0.60 (+2.62%).  The price of Light Sweet Crude Oil is $52.14 per barrel, -0.06 (-0.11%).  Currently, one-dollar U.S. = 0.83 euros while one-dollar U.S. = 6.47 Chi-Com yuan.  One-dollar U.S. = 0.000026 Bitcoin.  Next, one U.S. greenback = 74.55 Russian rubles.  Meanwhile, the Chinese-engineered pandemic pushes the U.S. trade deficit to a record high in 2020, to $679 billion, a record 12-year high.
  69. 2021 Friday H: The Biden administration is purportedly going to return to the same immigration policies the Obama-Biden administration had back during 2009-2017 and that is to reopen detention centers where they will house illegal alien minors…in cages.  Why is it okay for Democrats to commit outrageous activities such as these when Republicans attempt to stop human traffickers and are vilified for doing it.   Meanwhile, Pennsylvania Lt. Governor John Fetterman files the paperwork to run for the U.S. Senate seat being vacated by RINO Senator Pat Toomey in 2022.   Elsewhere, following Robin Hood’s lifting of curbs on buying GameStop stock at its site, shares begin going up yet again.
  70. 2021 Friday I: Although still under contract, Fox News Channel pulls longtime host Lou Dobbs off the air.  No word on whether he will ever return or not.  (We think he will go to Newsmax or OAN).  One of the reasons for his ‘dismissal,’ Smartmatic- the ALLEGED election-stealing software created in Venezuela to enable Hugo Chavez to steal elections has hammered Fox News and three hosts- Dobbs, Maria Bartiromo, and Judge Jeannine Pirro with a $2.7 billion defamation lawsuit.  Also included in the lawsuit are Rudy Giuliani, Mike Lindell, and Michelle Malkin.  Oh, wah, wah, wah, Smartmatic, YOU know what you did, you devious scumbags.  Next, in the New York House race, Claudia Tenney, Republican, finally overcame Congressman Anthony Brindisi and won her old seat back.  Congratulations.
  71. 2021 Friday J: Communist China demands the World Health Organization investigate the United States as the creator of the Chinese Virus, aka the Xi Jinping Bat Flu, aka COVID-19, etc.  Wow.  The Chi-Coms will do anything to ward off blame for what they’ve done and with Joe Biden in the White House, they could get away with it.  Meanwhile, Cowboys for Trump leader is out of jail on bond, awaiting trial for the January 6, 2021 Antifa-led mob that stormed Capitol Hill.  Elsewhere, Joe Biden says he won’t restore the Bar Association’s role in vetting judges.  Not good.
  72. 2021 Friday K: Here are the numbers for the Mega Millions Draw #1631 with a jackpot of $54 million on the line: 14, 17, 28, 29, 44, and Mega 02.  Out of 67,548 winning tickets, the highest winners in California were three people who had FOUR numbers plus the Mega for a prize of $6,017 apiece. Elsewhere, heavyweight boxing champion Leon Spinks died in Henderson, Nevada, at age 67 on this date.  Cause of death: advanced prostate cancer.  Spinks did what many people thought was impossible but after just eight pro bouts, Leon beat Muhammad Ali to win the title in 1978.  Later in the year, he would lose it back to Ali in what many people believed was a ‘set-up’ for Ali to win the heavyweight title three times.  Our opinion: NOT SURE.

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

Following their breakup after the “Making Contact” tour, vocalist Phil Mogg set about forming a new band with some new musicians but when he sought to get a record contract, they signed his endeavor as ‘UFO’ and thus we have UFO Mk. II.  The new band featured Mogg, Tommy McClendon (lead guitar), Paul Raymond (guitars/keyboards/vocals), Paul Gray (bass), and Jim Simpson (drums).  The record label, Chrysalis put a veteran producer onto the project and the album came out hot to trot.  This is a superb reconfiguration of the band and we can tell you that it’s worth every penny.  We hope you will rush out and give it a good listen as once you do, you will become as enamored of it as we are- please, check it out and enjoy.  You will be glad you did.

[ii] The Atlanta Rhythm Section is another awesome American band, one we sure as heck hope to promote when and if we return to doing music again.

[iii] Not sure when Guns ‘n’ Roses is coming but we hope we will still be alive and will get around to sharing them with the world.

Is the ‘Give Back Benefit’ real? IF Joe Namath, Joe Theismann, or Kelsey Grammer says it is, so it must be!

The fact that one must call a NON-Medicare company- the Medicare Coverage Helpline in this case- to see if one ‘qualifies’ for everything from ‘home-delivered meals’ to ‘free rides TO the doctor’ (they say nothing about FROM the doctor) to ‘in-home modification’ and ‘even pest control services,’ I am sorry, I do not see how any of these so-called ‘benefits’ are legitimate.

WINTER SESSION 2021

BLOG POST #3,750 AT THE AICP-END

DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2022: 641

It’s FREE!

Honolulu, HI 96782, 02-05-2021 Friday:  Aloha, friends, lots of crazy things going on in the world today.  I am telling you, if I have to watch one more commercial on the boob tube, you know, with former NFL quarterbacks or ancient actors pushing ‘extra Medicare benefits’ for which, you must call this company or that so you can learn if you ‘qualify’ for those ‘benefits,’ they are NOT benefits, folks, but seemingly- at least to me- a scam.   I am telling you, if I see slimy old Joe Namath pitching all these FREE ‘benefits’ of which, no one knows anything about but must inquire, I am going to throw my slippers at the TV.  How scummy can that guy get?  It’s disturbing.

For instance, there’s the ‘give back benefit,’ a ‘benefit’ that can put up to $144 per month back into your account.  How does this work?  What does one have to do to get this ‘benefit,’ I mean, if one qualifies for an additional $144 per month in Social Security/Medicare benefits, why aren’t they receiving the additional monies in their monthly check NOW?

The fact that one must call a NON-Medicare company- the Medicare Coverage Helpline in this case- to see if one ‘qualifies’ for everything from ‘home-delivered meals’ to ‘free rides TO the doctor’ (they say nothing about FROM the doctor) to ‘in-home modification’ and ‘even pest control services,’ I am sorry, I do not see how any of these so-called ‘benefits’ are legitimate.

Don’t get me wrong, all of them sound absolutely fantastic but why wouldn’t one be able to discuss these benefits with a government worker at age 65 or older rather than someone in the private sector who will talk to you and then redirect you to someone in government.  I mean, what sort of ‘cut’ do these people receive that comes out of OUR benefits?  This seems to me like a dastardly trap into which unwary seniors can fall and once they realize they have been duped into something they never wanted, it’s too late to back out.

Some of my older family members have warned me that when they called one of these promoters of these benefits, ALL of which are FREE (meaning the phone call’s free, not the benefits), they were signed up without knowing they were.  This occurred because they called, had to provide their personal information to the salesperson at the other end of the phone and next thing they know, they go down to Kaiser Permanente here in the islands and learn they no longer have coverage under them but with some other Obamacare company.

It doesn’t matter whether they actually asked to be sent to a new Medicare manager/provider or did not, it just magically occurred unbeknownst to them and then they have to wait an entire year before they can get out of the third party insurer and back to Kaiser which means everything is disrupted including one’s ability to see the doctor they like.  Something is NOT right here and I am puzzled as to WHY the federal government doesn’t step in and make things right?

I also get annoyed when I see these ‘recipients’ of these extra ‘benefits,’ “I called to get what I deserve” to which slimeball Joe Namath chimes in ‘get what you deserve.’  These testimonials sound to me like nothing more than mongoose droppings on one’s car seat or like rats dancing on the phone lines, it’s a frustrating nuisance.

What’s more, I went online just to investigate it for myself and nowhere in the search results was Medicare/Social Security but a long list of private companies seeking to hawk these benefits and fulfill their signup quotas.

Finally, the last thing that irritates me is WHY- after the sign-up period for Medicare and Social Security is over- why do we have to continue watching these commercials?  At least last November and December, I had hope that when the enrollment period ended, Joe Namath, Joe Theismann, Kelsey Grammer, and whoever the fourth huckster is, we wouldn’t have to see them again for about 8-10 months thus giving our ears a break.

Sadly, that was not the case.  For some reason no one around me knows, these guys are still pushing the same garbage.  I wish they’d shut up and go the heck away.  It’s like watching that rabbi wahine begging for food boxes for Jews she claims are Holocaust survivors living in Israel– ISRAEL.  I am sorry, IF Holocaust survivors are living like the ones depicted in the commercials are, supposedly ‘in Israel,’ then shame on Israel.  I simply cannot and will not accept the sales pitch the organization is throwing us.

Like John Lennon once said, “Gimmie some truth!”

Okay, friends, tomorrow we move into the weekend edition and this Sunday- Super Bowl LV- it’s going to be an amazing game.   Have a lovely day, we will meet again.

Love you all.

Elsewhere, in the aftermath of the debacle at Stalingrad, German Army Group A under the command of General von Kleist were still fighting to head to the northwest from the Caucasus. The major hub through which the army had to pass- the city of Rostov- was a problem because Red Army troops were approximately 40 miles from the city while the Germans were more than 300 miles to the east and fighting to reach it.

  58. 2017 Saturday: U.S. President Donald J. Trump and Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko hold a phone call in which the two leaders meet and discuss the situation in the eastern portion of the former Soviet socialist republic, the Donbass, where the Russians are trying to break it off and to incorporate it into Russia.  Meanwhile, the Australian government announces it will continue to honor the deal it struck with the Obama administration to accept illegal aliens from Central America even though the U.S. has postponed doing its part of the agreement and that is taking Muslim refugees in the South Pacific.  We have enough problems as it is, we don’t need more people.
  59. 2018 Sunday: The Philadelphia Eagles won Super Bowl LII by pounding the New England Patriots, 41-33.  It was a great game and although Tom Brady played well, one could tell he was feeling his age.  It was the first Super Bowl victory for the Eagles and they did it with backup quarterback Nick Foles.  Congratulations, Philly!  Elsewhere, U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson suggests the United States ‘could employ force in a coup attempt against the Maduro regime in Venezuela.’
  60. 2019 Monday: As things go from bad to worse in Venezuela, several European countries- namely Germany, Portugal, Spain, and the United Kingdom- recognize opposition leader Juan Guiado as the interim leader of the devastated country.  This of course does not sit well with former bus driver and current president Nicolas Maduro.   Meanwhile, Virginia Governor Ralph “Blackface” Northam, Democrat, delays his decision on whether he will step down from office as he is still not sure if the picture in his college yearbook depicting him as either a member of the KKK or dressed in blackface is ‘really him.’  Come on, bigot, leave office NOW.
  61. 2020 Tuesday: Once again Democrats demonstrate they cannot steal an election properly.  Last night was the Iowa caucuses- ‘first in the nation’ (WHY?)- and the results have not yet been made available to the public.  Millions of Americans speculate that Joe Biden came in 4th or 5th and that either communist Bernie Sanders or Podunk town Mayor Pete came in at the top.  Therefore, Troy Price- chair of the IA Democratic Party- is doing everything possible to find more caucus results from outhouses and condemned buildings to flip the votes to CHOMO Joe Biden.  Disaster strikes again.  And the Democrats claim Donald Trump and the Republicans stole an election!  WTF!  Then, some results trickled out that showed Mayor Pete (26.9%) first followed by Sanders (25.1%) followed by Liz Warren (18.3%) followed by Joe Biden (15.6%) followed by Amy Klobuchar (12.6%).  The political dead were Andrew Yang (1.0%), Tom Steyer (less than 1%), Uncommitted (less than 1%), Michael Bloomberg (less than 1%) and Tulsi Gabbard (less than 1%).
  62. 2020 Tuesday A: COVID-19 continues raging around the world.  The Princess Cruise Lines Diamond Princess finds itself in Yokohama Bay, Japan, in quarantine with all its passengers onboard.  They cannot get off, they cannot leave, NO one will have them as they have Chi-Vi-infected people on the ship.  Meanwhile, the Chi-Coms announce the death toll has surpassed 400 victims and more than 20,000 ill people yet asks the United States ‘not to overreact’ as the U.S. seeks access to information.  Elsewhere, Hong Kong reports its first COVID-19 death making it the second person outside the PRC to succumb from the growing pandemic.   Finally, President Donald J. Trump delivers his third State of the Union Address and when he’s wrapping it up, House Speaker Nancy “Mumbles” Pelosi takes his speech and rips it to shreds in front of the entire world.  Wow.  Boot this hag from the people’s house, please.
  63. 2021 Thursday: The proponents of continuous war- aka the military-industrial-politico complex- seek to keep U.S. troops deployed to Afghanistan despite threats from the Taliban as to what might happen to them if they halt the withdrawal.   Elsewhere, Joe Biden has put a freeze on troop withdrawals from Germany and their redeployment elsewhere, something the previous president sought due to Germany closely tying itself to Vladimir Putin’s Russia.  Meanwhile, U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin has ordered a military-wide standdown so the military can root through all its WHITE members seeking to uncover racism, bigotry, homophobia, transphobia, Islamophobia, and whatever else is the ‘in’ thing at the moment.  It will accomplish this by going through all social media posts of its white servicemembers.  Although they are saying they are exclusively singling out whites, we know that they are.  Such is the modern-day United States of America.   Speaking of all this latent racism and bigotry among white people, what does Joe Biden do at the prayer breakfast?  He calls out ‘political’ extremism meaning ‘white supremacism,’ something that NO longer exists.  What a world in which, we live…
  64. 2021 Thursday A: California Governor Gavin Newsom, Democrat, is holding off on naming a replacement to fill outgoing AG Xavier Becerra until after he’s been confirmed as the next secretary of Health and Human Services.  There is a possibility he won’t because he is such a whacked-out, far-left nut that he might not make it although in this time, it appears the ‘crazier the better.’  Meanwhile, Politico reports that the recall of Governor Newsom now is ‘unavoidable’ seeing as how he has few if any remaining supporters.  He has proven to be a greater disaster than Governor Gray Davis ever was, another Democrat who was recalled about 16 years ago.
  65. 2021 Thursday B: The U.S. Chamber of Commerce urges- implores- Joe Biden to compromise on the COVID-19 Relief/Stimulus bill as the 46th president considers bypassing the GOP.  Meanwhile, in a nod to Joe Biden, the U.S. Supreme Court announces it will NOT hear oral arguments in Trump-related immigration cases.  Next, union officials from the state of Alabama are meeting with the 46th president to discuss the ongoing case of unionizing the Amazon.com fulfillment center in the state.  Amazon is resisting its employees demands for union protections while labor leaders are determined to force the online retail giant to buckle under to their demands.
  66. 2021 Thursday C: Kamran Abbasi- editor of the British Medical Journal- has accused world governments of ‘social murder’ over their mishandling of the Chinese Virus Crisis.  Regarding the Chi-Com Virus, the CDC says, “Inoculating teachers is not necessary to reopen schools” yet public schools remain closed while private schools are up and running.  Speaking of schools, San Francisco Mayor London Breed and the San Francisco School District is at war with one another as the mayor demands they reopen the schools while the school unions tell her to go f**k herself.  We say someone must be brave like Ronald Reagan was with the air traffic controllers, give them an ultimatum to open or get fired and then when they won’t reopen, fire the entire flipping lot of these scurrilous scumbags.  It is the ONLY thing to do.
  67. 2021 Thursday D: Following the House GOP vote to keep censured Wyoming Congresswoman Liz Cheney in her leadership post, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy calls for ‘UNITY’ while forcing Georgia Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene to apologize for ALL her statements prior to becoming a member of Congress.  Our California colleagues inform us that they will NO longer vote for Congressman McCarthy, even if it means Democrats take his seat.  Enough is enough is what they say.  Speaking of Congresswoman Greene, she can no longer serve on any committees.  After all, upstanding Illinois RINO Adam Kinzinger says ‘Greene cannot serve unless she proves she is ‘contrite’ for her past actions.  Speaking of political corruption and the like, New York state lawmakers are fighting to block Attorney General Leticia James investigation into all the deaths Governor Andrew “Killer” Cuomo has caused and tried to coverup.  Wow.
  68. 20201 Thursday E:  Recently appointed to a three-year term on the Council of the Administration Conference of the United States, Trump appointee Roger Severino- asked on Wednesday to resign or be fired by the 46th president- has filed a lawsuit against ‘Pro-China Joe’ Biden for wrongful termination.  Good.  People must fight back against fascism wherever they find it.  Speaking of ‘Pro-China Joe,’ the 46th president is considering sending every American (Chi-Com-manufactured) face masks so as to fight the Wuhan Bat Flu running amok around the world.  Sadly, like most masks, they will end up blowing across the streets and highways of the country, collecting along fence lines, in gutters, and everywhere else as do billions of plastic bags.   Most people are not going to wear this crap, Joe, so please, don’t waste taxpayer dollars on Chi-Com facemasks.   Speaking of Mr. Biden, son, Hunter’s ‘memoirs’ are coming out in April, entitled, “How I raked in Billions while smoking Crack and banging Prepubescent Girls.”  We’re really looking forward to this book!  (We don’t know what the title really is but wouldn’t it be great if this were the title?)
  69. 2021 Thursday F: With the Biden COVID-19 Relief/Stimulus bill coming soon to a town near you, several Kroger stores in California are already closing down as they cannot afford the increased minimum wage to $15 per hour that is included within it.  Hell, NO one can so expect millions of other stores to call it quits over the course of the year and the OMB claims everything will be peachy-keen by mid-year.  What a load of crap.  Meanwhile, there was an 80-percent jump in gun sales in January 2021.  Heck, several of our members went out and beefed up their gun collections while some of our California members put them into secure sites while informing law enforcement they were missing.  NO one is going to hand over firearms.   Speaking of weapons, U.S. Envoy to the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland, Robert Wood says the ‘Biden administration is going to pursue arms control and engagement with the Chi-Coms.’  Woo-oo!  Next, famed attorney Lin Wood is now under investigation for VOTER FRAUD.  Finally, famed Watergate plumber Eugenio Martinez has died at the age of 98.
  70. 2021 Thursday G: In the House of Representatives, Marjorie Taylor Greene has been removed by a party line vote from her two major committee assignments- Education & Labor and Budget.  Democrats are exuberant and Republicans silent.  What they are doing is making Greene bigger than before which is what the Dems are also doing to former President Donald J. Trump by demanding he appear at the ‘re-impeachment trial’ next week and testifying under oath.   Although the Democrats do not believe this, they are going to be punished by voters more ways than one because even if H.R. 1 becomes law, Republicans are already converting legions of illegal aliens to vote GOP in next year’s mid-terms.  Two can play the same game, folks.
  71. 2021 Thursday H: Here are today’s stats for the Wuhan Flu, planet first: 104,684,395 confirmed cases, +435,785, 2,277,590, confirmed deaths, +13,798, and 58,164,975 confirmed recoveries, +271,687.  Next, here are the stats for the United States, the intended target of the Chinese-engineered Wuhan Virus pandemic: 26,791,783 confirmed cases, up 60,966 from yesterday’s reporting, 454,392 confirmed deaths, UP 1,365, and 11,166,500 confirmed recoveries, UP- UNKNOWN- same number as last week’s.  NOTE- in the White House 16 DAYS, apparently the U.S. will NO longer report the number of recoveries.  Shame on you, Chi-Com Joe.   NOTE: SINCE JOE BIDEN BECAME PRESIDENT ON JANUARY 20, 2021, THERE HAVE BEEN 49,580 CHI-VI DEATHS IN THE U.S.  Joe, you said you had a plan- where the f**k is it?
  72. 2021 Thursday I: Next, in the three states in which, the world-famous American Institute of Culinary Politics-the Elemental News of the Day employs chef-bloggers- California, Hawaii, and Washington- here are the stats, California first: 3,366,597 confirmed cases, 42,466 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Next here are the numbers for Hawaii: 26,187 confirmed cases, 416 confirmed deaths (not updated in a week), and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Finally, here are the stats for leftist-Marxist-socialist hellhole of Washington: 319,502 confirmed cases, 4,466 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Let us look at one other piece of U.S. real estate- New York: currently, thanks to Governor Andrew “Killer” Cuomo, they have 1,444,199 confirmed cases, 43,687 confirmed deaths, but NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Now that Mo has relocated to Israel, let’s look at the statistics there: 668,874 confirmed cases, 4,948 confirmed deaths, and 589,311 confirmed recoveries.    For the heck of it, let’s look at another country- Russia: currently, they have 3,917,918 confirmed cases of the dreaded Chi-Vi, 75,205 confirmed deaths, and 3,389,913 confirmed recoveries.   In other Chinese Virus news, Johnson & Johnson is seeking the FDA to give their one-shot Wuhan Flu vaccine the go-ahead necessary with which to start getting it into the arms of the American people.
  73. 2021 Thursday J:  Here are today’s Stock Market closes: DOW Jones Industrial Average: 31,055.86, UP 332.26 points (+1.08%).  Next, the NASDAQ: 13,777.74, UP 167.20 points (+1.23%).  Finally, here are the stats for the S&P 500: 3,871.74, UP 41.57 points (+1.09%).  The price of GOLD is $1,796.40 per troy oz., +5.20 (+0.29%) while the price of SILVER is $26.43 per troy ounce, +0.20 (+0.75%).  The price of PLATINUM is $1,107.20 per troy oz, +0.04 (+0.36%) while the price of COPPER is $3.56 per pound, +0.01 (+0.18%).  The price of PALLADIUM is $2,280.70 per troy oz, +4.10 (+0.18%).  The price of Light Sweet Crude Oil is $56.59 per barrel, +0.36 (+0.64%).  Currently, one-dollar U.S. = 6.47 Chi-Com yuan.   Meanwhile, one-dollar U.S. = 0.84 euros and in Mexican pesos equals 20.37.  Next, $1.00 U.S. = 0.000027 Bitcoin (BTC).  In other economic news, Shell Oil’s profits have slumped to their lowest level in 20 years.  Thank you, Joe Biden.
  74. 2021 Thursday K: The Jeffrey Epstein fund for victims has abruptly halted its payouts.  No one is sure as to WHY?  Meanwhile, as the truth continues coming about Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, aka AOC, aka Baby Evita, birth name Sandy Cortez, and her ‘terrifying moments in the Capitol Complex on January 6, when Antifa-led mobs stormed the Capitol Building, we learn she was not even present.  She was nowhere near the action so as the truth continues coming out, she has been yanking down tweets and videos so as not to embarrass herself.  Girl- you are already embarrassed.  Elsewhere, the attorneys for Donald Trump says he WON’T answer a demand from his inquisitors to show up for next week’s SHOW TRIAL in the U.S. Senate.  Speaking of President Trump, he resigned from the Screen Actors Guild today.  Why should he?  It’s a kangaroo court.  Finally, state legislators are going to town on Governor Tony Evers’ MASK MANDATE.  No one is going to wear this crap.  It’s over and done.
  75. 2021 Thursday L:   The U.S. Border Patrol is reporting its agents are being overrun by tens of thousands of illegal aliens.  Mexican states along the border with the U.S. no longer are accepting returns of illegal aliens so the illegals are ‘caught’ and then ‘released’ into the interior of the United States.  Without Donald Trump in the White House, Democrats plans of social re-engineering the United States into a Third World S-hole country are underway.  Meanwhile, a report says that during the four years Donald Trump spent in the White House, he lost half his net worth.  Elsewhere, Joe Biden threatens to amp up restrictions on the Russians if they fail to free Alexei Navalny.  Russia responds with ‘bug off.’   Finally, following Congressman Matt Gaetz asking House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler, D-NY, to recite the Pledge of Allegiance ahead of every meeting, Nadler tells his GOP colleague, more or less, to ‘bug off’ like the Russians told Joe Biden on Navalny.  Wow.  Patriotism (or lack of it on the part of the Democrats).
  76. 2021 Thursday M: We learned that someone has made off with 10# of C-4 plastic explosive from a USMC base in California, most likely Camp Pendleton.  NOT good.  Meanwhile, a federal judge in Oregon says it’s ‘okay’ for state officials to provide COVID-19 immunizations to prisoners in the state’s hoosegows.  They will receive their immunizations before senior citizens and school teachers.  There you go.  Next, Joe Biden revives the old stories of being ‘shot at while overseas’ in much the same way Hillary Clinton used to tell similar stories.  It’s all bogus but it makes for good tall tales told around campfires late at night.  Elsewhere, freshman Republican Congressman Madison Cawthorne says he has ‘no regrets’ about speaking at the Stop the Steal Rally in Washington, D.C., on January 6, the day of the Antifa-led storming of the Capitol Building.
  77. 2021 Thursday N: Speaking of the Stop the Steal Rally on January 6, Tucker Carlson reported something extremely disturbing tonight on his show on Fox News Channel.  He reported that Bank of America is actively investigating charges made by its customers between January 5-7, 2021 in and around Washington, D.C., in the hope of locating ‘Pro-Trump extremists and white supremacists’ so it can then hand the over to federal law enforcement.  IF you were in D.C. on those dates and bought a donut and a coffee, BOA handed that information over to the feds who have already knocked on doors and questioned people.  Wow.  Is this the bank with which you want to do business?  Not us, we are closing our accounts as quickly as we can.  Meanwhile, returning to the story mentioned first above in “L,” the Border Patrol reports that it has arrested 11 Iranians attempting to cross the border into the United States from Mexico.  NOT GOOD.
  78. 2021 Thursday O: First-time unemployment claims have fallen the third straight week in a row, down to 779,000 jobless claims for a total of 17.8 million Americans on government assistance.  However, as soon as the minimum wage rises to $15 per hour, we expect there will be 1.5 million jobless claims in the first week with 750,000 to one million per week after that.  Add to that the numbers of illegal aliens now being permitted into the country and we expect by late March-early April to see an economic depression rivaling that of 1929.  Secure your wealth, hide your funds, bad times are coming.  There is no way the TRIPLE THREAT of (1) a higher minimum wage combined with (2) the ongoing COVID-19 lockdowns and restrictions plus (3) a sudden vast pool of low-skilled to unskilled labor is going to cause what the OMB says is going to be a massive economic recovery by June 2021.  We haven’t even included skyrocketing energy costs thanks to the cessation of fracking on federal lands yet.  It’s going to be BAD.  Elsewhere, Joe Biden will no longer provide support to the Saudi-led war in neighboring Yemen in the fight against Iran and their proxies, the Houthi rebels.  Yet another pro-Iranian policy.

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

On April 12, 1985, UFO released a two-LP album, “The Collection,” an album that contained many of the earlier cuts, the crème de la crème of the British rock band that was always on the verge of becoming a mega band but never quite hit the BIG TIME like the Stones, the Kinks, the Who, Led Zeppelin, and the sadly short-lived Faces.  We know you will enjoy this audio gem; this mind-altering album so why not seek it out.  If you cannot find it at Amazon.com, you can always visit Discogs and find it there.  You will enjoy it, we guarantee it.

With no help coming soon here in Hawaii, Florida is looking good, REALLY good and I think my family and I will be relocating there later this year

Florida, however, sounds like a beacon of warmth, of welcome, and of love. Property costs are extremely reasonable, tax rates exciting, and best of all, NO personal income taxes. That is absolutely wonderful. The less taxes we have to pay the better it is for us to sell everything including all fixtures and equipment and to relocate on the other side of the country in a place that has all the feeling of home.

WINTER SESSION 2021

BLOG POST #3,749 AT THE AICP-END

DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2022: 642

Aloha, Hawaii, thanks to misguided COVID-19 policies, Hawaiians are abandoning ship…

Honolulu, HI 96782, 02-04-2021 Thursday:  I heard back from my hubby down in Florida last night and he is selling me on the idea of a move to Tampa, Clearwater, or St. Petersburg, noting that any of them would be wonderful places where we could reestablish our restaurant business albeit in a slightly different format: fast food Polynesian-Hawaiian-Asian Fusion grill what with a drive-through window for fast and easy pickup.  Although we have run a sit-down restaurant in the Honolulu area for many years now, there is not much point in remaining in a place that may never recover anytime soon.   I mean, things are going to continue getting worse before they get better- if they get better- which most of us now doubt that it ever will thanks to one-party political control.  What makes it worse is that it’s MY party doing the damage.

The state of Hawaii has two employers: tourists who fund our hotels, restaurants, rentals, and the sports that rely on them.  The second employer is government, local, state, and federal as well as the military which has bases across the islands.  While government and the military aren’t going anywhere, without the tourists, there is NO way we can ever recover, even if the switch is suddenly thrown, the floodgates immediately opened, and they suddenly come pouring back into the Islands.  There is no way for a swift recovery.

With no tourists coming in, one would think the state government would lower tax rates but sadly, that is not the case.   Same for property taxes, use taxes, and the like, the tax burdens remain as do excessively high prices so there is not much point in remaining in our home state when our home state is doing little to nothing to help employers or the people.

Something else that sweetens the deal for my family is the fact that Florida is wide open while Hawaii is not.  Thanks to their governor and his administration, they have kept things up and running and cases of COVID-19 and rates of coronavirus-related deaths are no different there than they are here.  The only difference is we’re closed and they’re not.   And I thought my party claimed to be the party that listens to science whereas the other side does not.  I wish Governor Ige and his administration would ‘listen to science.’

We are not sure as to how quickly we can sell our home and business here, get everything loaded aboard a Matson barge and shipped to Los Angeles, California.  From there, everything would have to be loaded aboard moving trucks and trucked clear across the country to the Sunshine State.  While a move such as this would be a monumental pain in the you know where, I think we could quickly readjust to our new home and get our business up and running to the point we might recoup our costs by 2024.

Something else that grates on my nerves is the fact that yes, Joe Biden has indeed lied.  You see the hashtag everywhere- ‘Biden Lied’- one that points out how many times he promised he was going to get $2,000 checks into the hands of the American people.  Once he wins the White House, it’s down to $1,400 and possibly less while people making loads of money are going to be able to get their hands on this cash, too.  It makes no sense.

Our employees are dependent upon unemployment insurance which in the Aloha State is never sufficient to keep one’s head above the roiling waters.  Worse, people have been out of work for nearly a year thanks to China’s mismanagement of the coronavirus so the domino effect is destroying many lives.  The reason why 80 million Americans voted for President Biden is because they believed he was in their corner.  Now, they understand he’s not which is even more challenging when it comes to trying to support him.  Add to that his stance on abortion and Houston, we have a problem, a BIG problem, because Mormons are as PRO-LIFE as it comes.

We will pick back up tomorrow.  I will see you then.

We continue offering CDs today by the greatest San Francisco band of all time, the Jefferson Airplane.  The band’s nineteenth album, “Sweeping up the Spotlight—live at the Fillmore East, 1969,” hit record store shelves on July 21, 2007 and was still another live recording the vault curator released for the fans’ listening enjoyment.  Now, we will admit that we did not put these in the order that we should but tried to keep the JA albums together and then present the Jefferson Starship following the original band.  When this album underwent recording, the Airplane had been on the road for most of the year, including a stop at the famous Woodstock Art and Music Festival at Yasgur’s Farm.  The classic lineup is on this album but soon changes would be in the offing.  This is a GREAT recording, however, and we urge everyone to get it.  Please, visit the Amazon.com Website so you can pick it up at the price, the condition, and the format, that is perfect for YOU.

  43. 1989 Friday: In Paraguay, a military coup overthrows longtime dictator Alfredo Stroessner.
  44. 1991 Sunday: The rate for a first-class postage stamp rose to 29 cents.
  45. 1994 Thursday: The space shuttle Discovery lifted off, carrying Sergei Krikalev, the first Russian cosmonaut to fly aboard a U.S. spacecraft.   Meanwhile, the 18th U.S. Secretary of Defense Leslie Aspen stepped down from his post on this date.  A Democrat, he served under President Bill Clinton from January 21, 1993 until today.  His replacement, the 19th U.S. Secretary of Defense William Perry took his office on this date.  Also a Democrat, he served under the same president until 01-23-1997.
  46. 1995 Friday: Discovery blasted off with a woman, Air Force Lt. Col. Eileen Collins, in the pilot’s seat for the first time in NASA history.
  47. 1998 Tuesday: Texas executed Karla Faye Tucker, 38, for the pickax killings of two people in 1983; she was the first woman executed in the United States since 1984.  A U.S. Marine fighter jet sliced through the cable of a ski gondola in Italy, sending the car plunging hundreds of feet, killing all 20 people inside.
  48. 2000 Thursday: In Prescott, Arizona, the 68th U.S. Attorney General Richard Kleindienst died at age 76.  A Republican, he served under President Richard M. Nixon from 06-12-1972 to 04-30-1973.

  50. 2009 Tuesday: Eric Holder took the oath of office as attorney general.  Vice President Joe Biden administered the oath.  He was the first African American to hold the post.  The White House announced that Tom Daschle had asked to be removed from consideration as health and human services secretary after acknowledging he’d failed to pay all his taxes.  Why he removed himself is unclear as numerous others in the Obama administration such as Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner also did not pay his taxes and it is unclear if he ever did.
  51. 2010 Wednesday: Somali pirates seize a North Korean-flagged cargo ship south of Yemen.
  52. 2011 Thursday: The U.N. Food and Agriculture Organization reports that world food prices have reached a record high.
  53. 2012 Friday: Following positive economic news and job reports, both the DOW Jones Industrial Average and NASDAQ see excellent increases.  The DOW sees its highest numbers since 2008 and the NASDAQ since 2000.
  54. 2013 Sunday: The Baltimore Ravens beat the San Francisco 49ers to win their second super bowl title after someone blew the Louisiana Superdome’s power in New Orleans power out for 45 minutes.  Prior to the power outage, the Ravens had the 49ers down 28-6 but once it came back on, the 49ers were reinvigorated and almost beat the Ravens; however, the Ravens managed to come back to life themselves and ended up beating the 49ers by a score of 34-31 to win Super Bowl XLVII.  Baltimore quarterback, Joe Flacco, is the MVP for the game.  This marked the first time the 49ers had ever LOST a super bowl (and thank God, they did!).
  55. 2014 Monday: The Denver Broncos’ quarterback Peyton Manning wins a record fifth Associated Press MVP Award; no one has ever won the award more than three times.  Meanwhile, according to Brainy History, the abortion rate in the United States is reportedly at its lowest in three decades.  The rate for 2011 stands at 16.9 abortions per 1,000 women of childbearing years whereas in 2008, it was 19.4 while back in 1981, it was at an all-time high of 29.3.
  56. 2015 Tuesday:  After a lapse of 55 years, novelist Harper Lee releases “Go Set a Watchman,” the sequel to her famous novel, “To Kill a Mockingbird,” which set the character Scout as an adult rather than the child the character was in the first book, “Mockingbird.”  The publisher convinced the author to go the “Mockingbird” book first.
  57. 2016 Wednesday: Both Japan and South Korea put their militaries on alert and begin making strong statements towards North Korea who is testing and going to continue testing long-range ballistic missiles.  Japan promises to shoot down any such aerial vehicles traversing its airspace.  Meanwhile, Kentucky Senator Rand Paul and former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum, both Republicans, suspend their races for the 2016 GOP presidential nomination.
  58. 2017 Friday: The U.S. Department of the Treasury announces new sanctions on the criminal regime in Iran following a recent ballistic missile test that goes against deals struck by the Obama regime and the ayatollahs.  Thirteen people and 12 entities tied to Tehran are on the list.  Elsewhere, federal Judge James Robart issues a temporary injunction against the Trump travel ban imposed on majority Muslim countries with deep ties to terrorism.
  59. 2018 Saturday: The New York Times reported an accusation from actress Uma Thurman that disgraced movie mogul and BIG Democratic donor Harvey Weinstein had forced himself on her sexually years ago in a London hotel room; Weinstein acknowledged making an “awkward pass” (which means he did his best to RAPE her) but strongly denied any physical assault.
  60. 2019 Sunday: In the lowest scoring super bowl of all time, Super Bowl LIII, the New England Patriots defense stifled the high-scoring Los Angeles Rams by a final score of 13-3.  This was perhaps the most boring super bowl of all time.  Julian Edelman was the game’s MVP as he provided most of the offense that won the game.  Maroon 5, Big Boi and some other schlub were the half-time show.  Elsewhere, Pope Francis becomes the first Roman Catholic pontiff to visit the Arabian Peninsula when he visits Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates.
  61. 2020 Monday: Much to the shock of his radio listeners, Rush Limbaugh announced that his doctors had diagnosed him with advanced lung cancer.  He promises to soldier on and we certainly hope that he can.  We are rooting for you, Big Guy, but please, give up the stogies.   Elsewhere, as cases of COVID-19 continue getting out of hand, the Cruise Lines International Association bans all cruise lines stops in mainland China.  Meanwhile, on the Greek island of Lesbos which is overrun with thousands of Muslim ‘migrants’ from the Middle East, riot police have to break out tear gas and batons to quell migrants rioting and burning their holding camps over poor conditions.  The answer is simple: GO HOME.
  62. 2020 Monday A: As the impeachment trial of President Donald J. Trump nears its conclusion in the U.S. Senate, House managers (prosecutors) and defense attorneys for the 45th president begin making their closing remarks.  West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin urges for censure rather than conviction but of course, his far-left Democratic Party colleagues don’t listen to him.  The trial has been a farce from start to finish, mostly boring but at other times laughable.  The Democrats genuinely believe they are ‘killing it’ when in fact, they are turning off millions of Americans.
  63. 2021 Wednesday: U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen calls a meeting with the SEC and the Federal Reserve over the GameStop craze.  Apparently, some people can make big money and others cannot; what a shame.  Next, as the GOP implores Joe Biden to agree to a lower COVID-19 Relief/Stimulus bill, he waves them off- no way.   Next, the House GOP are holding a meeting to determine the futures of Georgia Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene and Wyoming Congresswoman Liz Cheney who has become extremely toxic.  We expect Greene will lose all committee assignments and will suffer in-party censure whereas a party will be thrown for Cheney.  IF this occurs, my colleagues in California say the days of voting for Kevin McCarthy are fast approaching an end.   Speaking of California politics, reprobate Democrat Congressman Adam “POS” Schiff is badgering soon-to-be-former Governor Gavin “The Smiler” Newsom to make him the Golden State’s attorney general.
  64. 2021 Wednesday A: The un-American New York Times is facing surprising blowback following their encouragement of Joe Biden to form a “1984-style” Truth Commission with which, liberals and BIG TECH can track, monitor, and disappear Americans’ online words and deeds.  WTF is wrong with these people?  Meanwhile, the U.S. Supreme Court does not accede to the Biden administration’s request to toss hearings on Trump administration immigration policies into the garbage, merely postpones them.  We shall see.  Elsewhere, Sinophile U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken announces the U.S. and Russia have extended the New Start Treaty for another five years.   Finally, Claudia Tenney, congresswoman from New York’s 22nd Congressional District declares victory with a 123-vote lead over sitting congressman Anthony Brindisi.
  65. 2021 Wednesday B: House Speaker Nancy “Mumbles” Pelosi, she with the eyes drooping in two different directions, says ‘a 9/11-style TRUTH COMMISSION       is necessary to figure out how the Capitol Building was stormed by Antifa members posing as Trump supporters on January 6.  We doubt anything more will come from this because as numerous video clips continue surfacing showing Capitol Hill police officers waving the FALSE FLAG operators into the building, there can be but one conclusion: Nancy “Mumbles” Pelosi- as head of the Capitol Police Department- gave the word to allow her Antifa and Black Lives Matter thugs easy entry in the hope they could use it against former President Donald J. Trump.  We look forward to the results of yet another bogus ‘investigation’ led by Democrats.  Elsewhere, in California, former San Diego Mayor Kevin Faulconer has thrown his hat into the ring to replace rapidly disappearing Governor Gavin “The Smiler” Newsom.  The mayor’s first campaign ads are spectacular and we hope he will be able to take the seat and save the state.    Finally, climate fraud John F. Kerry is blasted for flying in his PRIVATE JET to receive a ‘climate award.’  Hypocrite!
  66. 2021 Wednesday C: Rep. Nancy Mace calls out the Baby Evita- Sandy Cortez- aka AOC, aka Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez- the biggest leftwing crybaby in Congress, over her claims that she was cowering in her office closet while the EVIL MAGA supporters were outside in the hallway.  Congresswoman Mace who is two doors down from Sandy Cortez says, “IT NEVER HAPPENED.”  Yet, the mainstream news media remains incurious.  Personally, we know AOC had little to fear because she was briefed like everyone else in the Democratic Party that the Antifa and BLM human garbage were going after Republicans.   Elsewhere, Cancel Culture continues trying to destroy Americans, the latest target being Mike Lindell of My Pillow fame.  All because he believes the plentiful evidence of election fraud in November 2020, everyone is trying to shut him up, even that putz Bob Sellers on Newsmax who would not permit him to speak the day before.  Sorry, Newsmax, you need to boot Sellers back to FNC.
  67. 2021 Wednesday D: Communist China warns U.S. Secretary of State Sinophile Anthony Blinken NOT to interfere when it comes to Hong Kong either.  Blinken and the U.S. have already been warned off about interfering in Taiwan so now the Biden administration has been told to butt out on the issue of Hong Kong, too.  Elections have consequences- hey, Joe: are we going to return to the Trans Pacific Partnership, too?   Speaking of the State Department, its spokesperson says a U.N. ambassador must be confirmed and soon IF the United States is going to hold the Chi-Coms accountable.   Meanwhile, we learn that White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki, stammering, stuttering, and always ‘circling back’ to answer reporters sent a homophobic tweet about Sen. Lindsey Graham, calling him, “Lady G.”  My, don’t you just love the ‘beautiful people’ that aren’t racists, bigots, homophobes, xenophobes, transphobes, haters, white supremacists, and the like?  Good one, Jen, good one.
  68. 2021 Wednesday E: Here are the numbers for the Xi Jinping Bat Flu- Pelosi Pox:  Here are the statistics for the planet as a whole: 104,142,856 confirmed cases, +570,195, 2,260,283, confirmed deaths, +17,045, and 57,839,230 confirmed recoveries, +336,520.  Next, here are the stats for the United States, the intended target of the Chinese-engineered Wuhan Virus pandemic: 26,730,817 confirmed cases, up 206,599 from yesterday’s reporting, 453,059 confirmed deaths, UP 5,312, and 11,166,500 confirmed recoveries, UP- UNKNOWN- same number as last week’s.  NOTE: SINCE JOE BIDEN BECAME PRESIDENT ON JANUARY 20, 2021, THERE HAVE BEEN 48,215 CHI-VI DEATHS.  Joe, you said you had a plan- where the f**k is it?
  69. 2021 Wednesday F: Next, in the three states in which, the world-famous American Institute of Culinary Politics-the Elemental News of the Day employs chef-bloggers- California, Hawaii, and Washington- here are the stats, California first: 3,350,293 confirmed cases, 41,811 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Next here are the numbers for Hawaii: 26,070 confirmed cases, 410 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Finally, here are the stats for leftist-Marxist-socialist hellhole of Washington: 318,967 confirmed cases, 4,402 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Let us look at one other state: Florida: currently, they have 1,744,619 confirmed cases, 27,467 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Now that Mo has relocated to Israel, let’s look at the statistics there: 667,216 confirmed cases, 4,928 confirmed deaths, and 589,288 confirmed recoveries.  Let’s look at one other country, shall we?  Brazil: 9,296,245 confirmed cases, 226,666 confirmed deaths, and 8,160,929 confirmed recoveries.
  70. 2021 Wednesday G:  Here are today’s Stock Market closes: DOW Jones Industrial Average: 30,723.60, UP 36.12 points (+0.12%).  Next, the NASDAQ: 13,610.54, DOWN 2.23 points (+0.016%).  Finally, here are the stats for the S&P 500: 3,830.17, UP 3.86 points (+0.10%).  The price of GOLD is $1,834.80 per troy oz., -0.30 (-0.02%) while the price of SILVER is $26.95 per troy ounce, +0.061 (+0.23%).  The price of PLATINUM is $1,112.60 per troy oz, -1.90 (-0.17%) while the price of COPPER is $3.56 per pound, -0.0035 (-0.10%).  The price of PALLADIUM is $2,276.60 per troy oz, +48.90 (+2.20%).  The price of Light Sweet Crude Oil is $55.95 per barrel, +0.26 (+0.47%).  Currently, one-dollar U.S. = 6.46 Chi-Com yuan.   Meanwhile, one-dollar U.S. = 0.83 euros and in Mexican pesos equals 20.20.  Next, one American dollar equals 0.000027 Bitcoin.
  71. 2021 Wednesday H: The U.S. Senate via ‘budget reconciliation process’ has passed Joe Biden’s $1.9 trillion COVID-19 relief bill.  With the cash flowing in from communist China, this bill will bankrupt the country for generations to come.   Speaking of BIG BUCKS, here are the numbers for tonight’s Super Lotto Draw #3531 with a $17 million pot up for grabs: 04, 15, 27, 28, 34, and Mega 16.  Out of 98,965 winning tickets, the highest winner was ONE person who had FIVE numbers but NO Mega for a prize of $37,233.  The winning ticket was sold at 7-Eleven at Carnelian Bay, CA 96140.  Next, here are the numbers for the Powerball Draw #817 with $20 million on the line: 05, 37, 40, 64, 66, and Powerball 05.  Out of 50,955 winning tickets, the highest winners in California were TWO people who had FOUR numbers plus the Powerball for a prize of $27,997 apiece.

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

Waysted returned with its sophomore effort, the self-titled “Waysted,” on September 15, 1984.  The band featured Pete Way (bass), Fin Muir (lead vocals), Paul Chapman (lead guitar/vocals), Neil Shepard (rhythm guitar/keyboards/vocals), and Andy Parker (drums/percussion).  As you can see, we have two-thirds ‘UFO’ here with Way, Chapman, and Parker so it has that feel swirling about it.  The album did fairly well on the charts and you can understand WHY once you hear it, it’s glorious and we do enjoy it so please, why not visit Amazon.com where you can find “Waysted Plus,” which gives you several more tunes at a very reasonable price.  At one time we were paid for our suggestions and promotions whereas now, we just promote what we love.  You will enjoy it.

How do prison inmates and staff rate getting the COVID-19 vaccine ahead of Hawaii’s chronically ill, the disabled, and elderly family members, not to mention teachers and students?

Something is not right about this and I fear that governors such as David Ige are using the COVID-19 pandemic as a means of ‘social engineering.’ I fear that prisoners and jail/prison staffers will be given dibs on getting vaccinated first while our seniors, disabled, and chronically ill will be held at arm’s length until most of them die. After all, these people ‘cost the state’ far more healthcare dollars to maintain or so they believe.

WINTER SESSION 2021

BLOG POST #3,748 AT THE AICP-END

DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2022: 643

In Hawaii, family is important, extremely important…

Honolulu, HI 96782, 02-03-2021 Wednesday:  Next week is the week when the second ‘impeachment trial’ begins in the U.S. Senate and it is clear to many that Democrats in leadership were expecting a different sort of response from the public- namely everybody cheering them on.  I think following the outrageous mess we witnessed on January 6, 2021, what with the Trump supporters storming the Capitol Building after Trump told them to go there and do that, they have had no choice other than to keep the National Guard in the nation’s capital and to maintain the fencing and barbed wire encircling Capitol Hill lest we’re forced to witness a much more violent repeat of what we had the misfortune of observing last month.

Don’t get me wrong, we do not see all Trump supporters as evil because millions of normal people support him, too.  As I have said both this week and in past posts, he did many things with which, my family and I agreed such as giving us the best economy anyone has seen since the late 1980s and 1990s.  We were making money hand over fist and we had hopes of continuing to make money until the Wuhan Virus began sweeping the globe.

Whether we believe Trump failed to act in time or he did, we must applaud him pushing rules and regulations aside so we could get a vaccine program on steroids underway.  We are amazed at how quickly American scientists were able to pull this stunning feat off but the problems began when moving the vaccines out to the American people seemed to freeze up to the point where very few have gotten them outside of jail staffers and inmates when seniors and the chronically ill should have been first in line.

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t begrudge inmates and jailers getting the vaccines because of the close proximity in which these people live and work.  We have three correctional facilities on Oahu- Oahu Community Center, Halawa Correctional Facility, and Waiawa Correctional Facility where numerous inmates and prison officials have contracted the virus.

Likewise, inmates and workers at the Women’s Community Correctional Facility in Honolulu County as well as the Kauai Community Correctional Facility have tested positive as they have on the Big Island.  This insidious disease seems to hit certain populations in the islands while leaving others alone.

The problem is there are so many people here in the 50th state who have preexisting conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, and lung ailments.  Unlike living in the American Southwest, the high humidity here can cause extreme respiratory problems for those at sea level.  People with breathing issues find greater relief living Upcountry on Maui than they do in the congestion of Honolulu and Honolulu County.

If you have never visited us, Honolulu and the surrounding cities and towns are much like visiting the Southland in California where one moves from one city to the next without ever leaving urban areas so cases of COVID-19 are much more prevalent.  However, the sooner we can get everyone vaccinated the sooner we can get back to normal life which for the tightknit community that we are is extremely critical.

The problem is the Department of Health seems to be ignoring the people who need immunizations more so than those doing time in one of our lockups.  Teachers must get inoculated ASAP so they can return to teaching our kids, most of whom are struggling to stay abreast in their studies.  Likewise, senior citizens seem to be at the back of the line when in fact, the hospitalization rate for those 60 and older is said to be 34-percent and higher while they account for 13-percent of all COVID-19 deaths.

In Hawaii, family is important, extremely important.  We hope this is not the case.

See you tomorrow.

Up-and-coming Bakersfield, California, street artist, Simone, created this cartoonish caricature of me so we can keep our identities on the down low due to increasing threats, Web intrusions and threats, and so we do not lose our professional businesses because of our politics here at the AICP-END Blogs.

We continue offering CDs today by the greatest San Francisco band of all time, the Jefferson Airplane.  The band’s eighteenth album, “Live at the Fillmore East,” hit record store shelves on April 29, 2009 and was yet another live recording the curators of the vault released for the fans’ listening enjoyment.  Now, we will admit that we did not put these in the order that we should but tried to keep the JA albums together and then present the Jefferson Starship following the original band.  Here, we have the classic lineup of Grace Slick (vocals), Paul Kantner (rhythm guitar/vocals), Jack Casady (bass), Marty Balin (vocals), Jorma Kaukonen (lead guitar/vocals), and Spencer Dryden (drums).  We urge you to visit the Amazon.com website, so you can pick it up at the price that is perfect for YOU.
