ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

#RM01.1i Flesh and Blood #9 03-06-2015 (400)

Roxy Music released their follow-up to “Manifesto,” 1980’s “Flesh and Blood,” an album that received far better reviews than its predecessor and one we wholeheartedly love. The single, “Over You,” is such a magnificent piece of music that it alone is well worth the price of admission. The band now was essentially a three-piece consisting of Bryan Ferry (keyboards, vocals), Phil Manzanera (guitars), and Andy Mackay (oboe, saxophones). They had, of course, a cast of supporting musicians. We love this album and we know that you will, too, so please seek it out and add it to your record shelves, you will love it.

Democrat politicians once again are wailing and moaning about ‘Putin involving himself in our elections;’ excuse me, aren’t all the illegal aliens living here ‘involving themselves in OUR elections?

It is bad enough the mainland ships its homeless to the islands via one-way tickets from California, Oregon, and Washington state but to send illegal aliens, especially the kids, as well as refugees, we did not ask for this but our Democratic state government could give a hoot about what we want.

WINTER SESSION 2020

BLOG POST #3,402 AT THE AICP-END

257 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2020

Average Democratic voters do not want what our politicians are pushing nor do we believe much of what they tell us…

Honolulu, HI 96782, 02-23-2020 Sunday:  We are back to hearing that the Russians are attempting to sway our elections.  Oh, well, I guess this is something they always have done and as long as they are controlled by a thug such as Vladimir Putin, it will be the modus operandi for all U.S. presidential elections.  My friend and colleague, Mo, says this is how it has been since the days of the Bolshevik Revolution in Russia in 1917.  Communist thugs want to spread their revolutions to everyone else they can.  It is akin to cancer, spreading throughout the body, unless stopped by chemo, radiation, or by cutting the nasty thing out and throwing it into the furnace, it won’t end.  It will never end so what are we going to do to Putin?  Radiate his butt?

On Friday, both Adam Schiff and Nancy Pelosi began whining about Trump making changes in who is the director of national intelligence.  I cannot tell you how little I care about listening to either of these dopes, bitching and moaning about how the president is putting our nation at risk.

We have been down this road with ‘Russian interference on behalf of Donald Trump’ back in 2016.  It led to lengthy investigations, to three-plus years of slandering the 45th president, and ultimately to impeachment, only the third to go to trial in the history of our country.  It concluded with acquittal on BOTH articles of impeachment.  Now, Adam Schiff wants to go down this path again?

I pride myself on being a grounded individual, that I have an enormous reservoir of common sense.  I can look at Trump and at the Democratic candidates fighting for the nomination.  Why would Putin want Trump?  Trump has built our military up to a point it has not been in decades, especially after Barack Obama did everything to gut it.  Why would Putin want Trump to have another term?  It makes no sense.

I can see that Putin might like Bernie Sanders because the cagey old Vermonter is a declared ‘democratic-socialist.’  Putin would not like that?  After all, Putin did like the previous president because he gutted our military to the point that Russia and China became stronger, more powerful so wouldn’t Putin want Bernie or some nobody, weak-chinned loser like Mayor Pete?

Over the years, I have come to see that many Democrats talk a good show but when it comes time to deliver on promises of protecting the nation, they always fail.  Look at various weapons systems they have discarded.  Look at their foreign policy endeavors, meant to tie the United States up in multi-nation treaties and pacts that dilute our power instead of reinforcing it.

Democratic politicians never want to defend the nation.  They cry about ‘foreign involvement and intrusion into our elections’ yet do nothing about all the foreigners who participate in them now, i.e., illegal aliens.

We have so many Latinos from the mainland here in Hawaii that every grocery store has as many products geared toward Mexicans and Central Americans as we do for the Filipino, Indian, and Puerto Rican people living here.  You can walk down a grocery store aisle and hear people talking in Spanish- in Spanish!  That is not Hawaii.

It is bad enough the mainland ships its homeless to the islands via one-way tickets from California, Oregon, and Washington state but to send illegal aliens, especially the kids, as well as refugees, we did not ask for this but our Democratic state government could give a hoot about what we want.

By the time this problem becomes so big that there will be no way to fix it, the people who created it will be dead and in their graves.  We the people and our kids and their kids will be the ones being buried by invasive species such as illegal aliens from Mexico and elsewhere.  Enough is enough.  It is time for Hawaii Democrats to stand up and say we are not going to take this crap anymore.  What say you?

In closing, there is a bill being pushed in the U.S. House of Representatives right now, the New Way Forward Act or some pig slop like that which will force us to bring back every illegal alien we have deported as a nation and give them new hearings.  No way, Jose, we are not going to accept gunk like that.  I think it’s time Hawaii declares her independence.

Tell me what you think.  I will see you sometime in August in the midst of the election.  Going to be exciting.  Love you all.  Aloha.

Up-and-coming Bakersfield, California, street artist, Simone, created this cartoonish caricature of me so we can keep our identities on the down low due to increasing threats, Web intrusions and threats, and so we do not lose our professional businesses because of our politics here at the AICP-END Blogs.

That said, I began my career in the early 1970’s when I apprenticed to cook under one of the masters on the Big Island where I was born.  I moved to Oahu in the early 1980’s after having worked in both Kona and Hilo, HI, and have been there for most of my professional career.

Moreover, I have also worked on Maui for a few years (1995-1998) and have been on Kauai (2001-2003) before returning to Honolulu.  My goal is to prepare the next generation of chefs for the future and to help the underprivileged in their struggle to attain careers in the foodservice industry.

#RM01.1h Manifesto #8 03-06-2015 (400)

In 1979, Roxy Music released its first studio album since “Siren,” their previous work, which came out in 1975. “Manifesto,” although some critics bash it, who gives a F**K about critics, right? Critics are failures in whatever art it is they offer ‘opinions’ of so we could care less about what they said about this album. We love it and the band now is a quartet featuring Bryan Ferry (keyboards, vocals), Phil Manzanera (guitars), Andy Mackay (oboe, saxophones), and Paul Thompson (drums). Augmenting the band were bassist Alan Spenner, keyboardist Paul Carrack, and several other musicians. We love this album and know that fans of the band are going to love it, too, so please seek it out and add it to your record shelves, you will love it.

WINTER SESSION 2020

BLOG POST #3,401 AT THE AICP-END

258 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2020

If I am wrong about Bloomberg being ‘Trump’s secret weapon,’ then I expect we will see a mayoral sandwich- Bloomy-Butti 2020

Honolulu, HI 96782, 02-22-2020 Saturday: Fallout from Wednesday night’s Democratic debate continues as the Dems are bashing one another as though they are gladiators in the middle of the Roman Colosseum. One almost expects to see blood and gore as various body parts- including heads, limbs, and innards- fly about the various whistle stops on each candidate’s campaign tour. It is something to see, the infighting is so ferocious, so fierce, all because we have a group of wealthy folks (Bloomy, Bernie, Lizzie, and Uncle Joe) pitted against two commoners (Mayor Petey and Amy). Hypocrisy abounds, it’s ugly, and to tell you the truth, I expect someone else is going to enter the scrum like John F. Kerry, Terry McAuliffe, or Hillary, maybe Michelle.

Now, I must say as a Democrat, I still receive mail from various Democrat politicians. A day or so ago, I received a letter from the desk of Michael Bloomberg. Mike Bloomberg, the former mayor of New York City, not some goober from the island of Tonga but “Tiny Mikey” himself, the shadow agent doing the work of President Trump.

I never thought I meant anything to anyone other than at vote time because the only time leadership of the party gets in touch is when they want me to pull out my leather-bound checkbook and write them a big fat check that goes somewhere but whose honest whereabouts is unknown to me.

When I used to cut them a check for the maximum donation, I never knew if it went to help Tulsi Gabbard win her seat or to buy a new paint job for the house of Mazie Hirono, our esteemed senator from Hawaii. Maybe it went to her colleague, our former governor and Senator Brian Schatz. After all, maintaining a lovely home can be pricey here in the Islands.

I also did not know if my donation found its way into the coffers of our puffed-up governor or it went to some politician in Nebraska. Maybe it goes straight to Tom Perez’s Swiss bank account or to Hillary Clinton’s ‘charitable foundation.’ Don’t know and will never so hence why I stopped writing donation checks to the DNC.

Mayor Mike is not asking for money; however, his mailing is akin to a news letter with which to speak directly to the voters. President Trump controls Twitter and only equals can contest him there whereas Mike is going the other route and that is via the snail mail.

His letter is extremely comforting and nice. He trumpets his successes, as he sees them, and urges everyone to climb aboard with him so we can defeat Donald Trump. He promotes his fight against the NRA as well as how he is fighting climate change and that his parents taught him the value of giving back to those less fortunate than he is.

Now, I am a Pro-Life Democrat. I also am a member of the NRA as well as of the Hawaii Rifle Association. My hubby and I enjoy going to the shooting range as much as we do hunting wild pigs in the hinterlands of Maui. We use our firearms responsibly and have no intention of ever surrendering them as my colleague, Chef Itzi would hers IF she owned them. She hates guns.

We believe in Climate Change but not in what men such as Bloomberg and Bernie and the rest of the Dems on the stage do. We are already on the cutting edge of doing everything possible to preserve our environment here in Hawaii and I believe that everyone else in every state of the Union feels the exact same way.

You see, no one wants dirty water, unclean air, polluted oceans. What we don’t want is to have goodie-two shoes environmentalists trying to drive us back into the Stone Age by terrorizing us into ‘saving the planet.’ They are, after all, indoctrinating each generation of children into believing we only have 10-12 years at most and then poof- planetary cinders.

I will conclude my post by saying what I said earlier in the week: I think Bloomberg is the ‘secret weapon’ of President Donald J. Trump. I mean, why else is he out there punching Bernie in the face for being a communist, pointing out the benefits of capitalism, and the rest of the extraordinary, un-‘Democratic Party’ things he is pushing. Likewise, trying to strip guns away and leave us at the mercy of those who would victimize us? No one is going to vote for that which will give Trump his second term.

Thanks for joining me today and don’t let Bloomy fool you. Like I said, I think yesterday, possibly the day before, if I am wrong, I bet we see a Bloomy-Butti 2020 Ticket, one mayor on top, the other on the bottom. Ba-boom! LOL.

  48. 2003: Bill Maher’s political talk show “Real Time with Bill Maher” debuts on HBO.
  49. 2010: The Chinese Ministry of Commerce announces foreign direct investment into China has risen for the sixth consecutive month, $8.3 billion year-on-year.
  50. 2012: European Zone finance ministers announce a second bailout for cash-strapped Greece.
  51. 2013: Scientists discover that honeybees could sense electric fields around flowers, enabling them to identify specific flowers for pollination. Meanwhile, Egypt’s government announces it will hold parliamentary elections later in the year. Finally, 83 people die and 250 suffer injuries in a series of bombings across the Syrian city of Damascus.
  52. 2014: According to Brainy History, G-20 nations discuss ending stimulus efforts in economically advanced nations while planning ways to increase global trade and employment opportunities to achieve global GDP growth.
  53. 2015: Also, according to Brainy History, Turkey sends troops to Syria to rescue 40 guards and relocate remains from the tomb of Suleiman Shah, which ISIS militants now surround; the international community recognizes the site as Turkish territory.
  54. 2016: ISIS, a member of the so-called ‘religion of peace,’ carries out suicide bombings in Homs and Damascus, killing at least 140 people.
  55. 2017: Along the coastline of Zawiya, Libya, the bodies of 87 African migrants wash ashore. They were the lucky ones as ISIS was selling other Sub-Saharan Africans as slaves in various marketplaces.

  57. 2019: Multi-instrumentalist/vocalist Peter Tork, member of the Monkees[ix], passed away at age 77 on this date.
  58. 2020: On Fox News Channel, Democratic candidate Tom “Green Jeans” Steyer swears on the Bill Hemmer program that he ‘will be on the upcoming Tuesday night debate stage.’ He also promises that he is the only one who can defeat President Trump in November which is delusional. His fellow Democrats want him and his best bud, “Tiny Mikey” Bloomberg as much as they want anal herpes. We expect him either to drop out soon or go third party and contest for the Green Party (or Peace and Freedom Party) nomination. Meanwhile, the Democrats are claiming that ‘Russia is going to help Trump steal the 2020 Election.’ Here we go again. Question for Democrats: IF you so fear foreign involvement in U.S. presidential elections then why the f**k are you not demanding for ALL illegal aliens to be rounded up and deported immediately? Finally, it looks like the jurors in the Harvey Weinstein multiple rape trial are going to find the POS guilty. Elections have consequences, folks. Had Hillary Rodham Clinton won in 2016, Harvey would still be raping young starlets.

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

#PM01.1b K Scope #2 08-19-16 (400)

Phil Manzanera released his third solo album, “K-Scope,” in 1978, and this one is a gem. We have always enjoyed the guitarist as his style is one many listeners find unique. From the minimalist approach he uses on Roxy Music albums to full-blown efforts here where he puts his chops on display, the guitarist NEVER fails to please.  This is a delightful addition to our ever-growing collection of the greatest rock bands in the history of the world. You will enjoy it so please seek it out and add it to your record shelves, you will love it.

Democratic misfires in the effort to remove Trump have left the party in the conundrum in which it now finds itself: faced with a socialist candidate or a Bloomy-Butti 2020 ticket; yikes!

Bloomberg can buy the nomination. He’s old, he needs someone to attract younger, more diverse folks hence Mayor Pete. However, the relationship will be a cold one such as George H.W. Bush and Dan Quayle, one in which the president kept his vice president out of the loop on virtually everything. It was for show.

WINTER SESSION 2020

BLOG POST #3,400 AT THE AICP-END

259 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2020

At the time of this writing, I stand by what I said yesterday: Bloomy-Butti 2020; what a ticket…

Honolulu, HI 96782, 02-21-2020 Friday: Referring back to Wednesday night’s debate in Las Vegas, Nevada, one of my most favorite places in the world, I have to say, this debate was the first that lived up to expectations. The gloves came off early, the claws came out, the long knives flashed and slashed, and it gave Democratic (and other curious) voters something from which to begin making decisions.

Again, I will remind you, as things NOW stand, I plan on voting for the current president. I am not voting for him because I think he is an upstanding character but because of what he has done as well as the numerous missteps made by members of my party in their pursuit of him.

Millions of people were shocked that he won in 2016. Millions of people decided to take a chance and give him their votes. Much of what he has done is benefitting the American people. Some of the things he has done have embarrassed us. However, unless the current batch of Democrats seeking to replace him ‘get real,’ there is no way any of them is going to replace him.

Let me say this, too: I was proud of Barack Obama, that he was one of ours. I am ashamed of him, too, as the mess that has put American against American began with him. There is no way that he did not know what was going on when the FBI was surveilling candidate Trump both before and after he won the 2016 Election. No way. I refuse to believe President Obama did not know.

The short story is that the tools used to deny Trump the election and then to drive him from the White House has led us to where we now find ourselves. We are in a place where our candidates are either unelectable or so far over the left edge of the political scale that if one of them wins the nomination, his or her electoral defeat will be the death of a once-proud party.

I am grateful that the remaining candidates seeking the nomination finally found the necessary fire within their bellies to display emotion. I have no doubt that former Vice President Joe Biden or that Senators Elizabeth Warren and Amy Klobuchar do not believe in what they say.

The problem is this: the pursuit of Trump via the Robert S. Mueller III investigation into Trump-Russia collusion and then the ludicrous impeachment of the president has put us where we now find ourselves. In a pickle. One in which upcoming generations of Americans believe everything should be free while common sense politicians have little to no chance of ever winning the nomination.

Which is why Mayor Bloomberg is on the scene, throwing money at everyone. I suspect that after we see tomorrow’s results in Nevada, we will see another one dropping out. I would think it could be Senator Klobuchar. I mean, how much money can she be raking in?

The bags of cash are flowing into the coffers of Bernie, of Liz, perhaps of Mayor Pete. Joe has to be struggling but he is holding on so he can see if his ‘Southern firewall’ is going to come through for him a week from tomorrow. If it doesn’t materialize, I suspect he will be gone.

That will leave us with Bloomberg, Bernie, probably Liz, and Mayor Pete. What a choice for Democrats who will never cross the divide as I have done and said I will again. As I mentioned yesterday, I can now envision a Bloomy-Butti 2020 Ticket and here is why:

Bloomberg can buy the nomination. He’s old, he needs someone to attract younger, more diverse folks hence Mayor Pete. However, the relationship will be a cold one such as George H.W. Bush and Dan Quayle, one in which the president kept his vice president out of the loop on virtually everything. It was for show.

I truly do not believe Bernie can win the White House nor do I believe Liz Warren can. Amy? She might have been an attractive candidate a decade ago but now, she is too far right for the average, youthful Democratic voter. Again, I predict Bloomy-Butti 2020 ticket.

Care to dispute my prediction? I am all ears.

Aloha. See you tomorrow. Love you all.

  57. 2020: Judge Amy Berman Jackson- an Obama judge- gave Roger Stone- friend and confidant of President Donald J. Trump a 40-month sentence for lying before Congress and a few misguided, unfortunate tweets. The gist of all this is that conservatives cannot laugh or joke because liberals will charge them with heinous crimes and do everything possible to send them to prison, hopefully, to die there if possible.  Meanwhile, President Trump speaks to a crowd of freed prisoners and slams what is happening to Stone.  Originally, Stone faced a possible sentence of 7-9 years in prison for doing practically nothing but that is how things now are in the United States of America.  Meanwhile, Stone’s defense team is seeking a new trial seeing as how the foreman of the jury, Tomeka Hart, is a raving lunatic leftist who hates Trump and said numerous prejudicial things against Stone and Trump in social media and then lied to Judge Jackson, claiming she could be ‘impartial.’  We think this ho needs to go to prison herself.  Finally, fallout from the previous night’s NBC-TV Democratic debate shows Michael Bloomberg at the bottom of the Democratic cesspool following a dismal debate performance.

After watching last night’s Democratic debate, IF (and it’s a BIG IF) Bloomberg survives his numerous embarrassing #MeToo moments at the hands of his fellow debaters, I could see a Bloomy-Butti 2020 ticket

Now, I will reiterate what I said yesterday: I believe that Michael Bloomberg is working on behalf of Trump. I believe he is in the mix so he can sow discord and dissension from within all the while Trump continues pounding the Democrats for the crazy ideas they so want to impose on us in this election cycle.

WINTER SESSION 2020

BLOG POST #3,399 AT THE AICP-END

260 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2020

Last night’s Democratic debate was fiery…

Honolulu, HI 96782, 02-20-2020 Thursday: We must be doing something right here at the AICPENDBLOG.COM as yesterday’s post questioning as to whether “Tiny Mikey” Bloomberg might be Trump’s ‘secret weapon’ led to all manner of assaults on our computer systems. So much for freedom of speech, eh? I guess when a man possesses billions of dollars and has all manner of lackeys and cretins in the tech industry doing his dirty work, that loser can attack and infect entire computer systems and browsers all because he does not like what a truth-teller is saying. Wow. Go figure.

Members of my party seeking the 2020 nomination went head to head last night in Las Vegas. The NBC-moderated debate featured frontrunner Bernie Sanders followed by mercenary “Tiny Mikey” Bloomberg, the billionaire who is throwing cash all over the place like a drunken sailor on leave in Pearl City. (Note to self- ask as to how I can get some of the Bloomberg cash without having to surrender my modesty).

Following the dynamic duo, we find Mayor Pete- plummeting like a stone- and then Liz Warren, Joe Biden, and Amy Klobuchar. Noticeably absent is the other guy trying to buy the nomination like Bloomberg, the highly unattractive and dislikable Tom Steyer. What a lineup. NO Tulsi. Shame.

I think we all knew what to expect. People fearful of going after a guy who can either BUY them off or WIPE THEM OUT. Who wants to attack Bloomberg? Hardly anyone although Joe sure did. I would think they want to wipe him out but as with Tom Steyer, they merely ignore him. Is this a winning strategy? Proclaiming Bernie the ‘winner’ is not what most Democrats want.

Now, I will say this: the Democrats DID go after Bloomberg in the opening moments and then the isolation of him began as the other five went to town on one another. Bloomberg did say one thing in the very beginning and that was, ‘If Bernie is our candidate in November, we are going to lose.’

Bernie was on the receiving end of numerous verbal assaults what with Mayor Pete and Liz Warren taking their shots. Amy got in one or two and after Joe had the opportunity to say something about both Bloomberg and how the previous night’s NBC polls said that ‘Only Biden could beat Trump,’ there you go. Then it was isolation for poor Joe, too.

They say Bloomberg spent a few hours practicing for the debate as he has not debated anyone in close to a decade and it showed. It showed by how he allowed the other ones to go to town against one another while he stood meekly on the left side of the stage, raising his scrawny hand, trying to get a word in edgewise.

One of the big battles early on was over how Bernie’s supporters were trashing the leaders of the culinary union in Nevada. Bernie said, ‘nothing he could do about it.’ That is not right. Bernie, we know you have far too many lunatics following you and since we have a large culinary union (among others) here in the Islands, we don’t want your leftist hacks going after our union leaders.

What’s more, the people of Hawaii like their health insurance, Bernie, we like it and don’t want to lose it so you can give FREE health care to illegal aliens and others undeserving of it. That is not right and MOST true Democrats do not want to see our rights diluted, our benefits diminished, nor do we want to be overrun by people who do not respect our ways and who won’t take the time to learn them.

I will also reiterate that unless something changes for the good, I will be voting for the current occupant of the White House. People are working, wages are up, jobs are plentiful, I am seeing young people buying new cars and finding better apartments, some are even finding new construction homes to purchase. Four years ago, this was not so.

If someone like Bernie wins the nomination, the Democratic Party will die. If someone like Liz Warren wins the nomination, likewise. Perhaps Amy Klobuchar is possibly a worthwhile alternative but until she proves she can actually win the big fight I don’t think she has a chance.

Bloomberg took it on the chin over #MeToo issues such as the numerous NDA he has with loads of female employees and I would be surprised if he survives until Super Tuesday. Some of the best incoming occurred when Liz, Joe, and Amy lit him up. Only time and his money will tell.

Finally, as for Mayor Pete, nope. I cannot have an immoral person lecturing me on morals. It does not work. Sorry. You seem like a nice guy and I can give you that but as a moral beacon, you simply fail.

However…if Bloomy survives somehow, I could see a ‘Bloomy-Butti 2020 Ticket.’ Just speaking my mind…

See you tomorrow.

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

#BF01.1e The Bride Stripped #5 08-19-16 (400)

We have mentioned that sometimes, Bryan Ferry hits the nail on the head and other times, he leaves his listeners stumbling around in the dark searching for a theme. Well, “The Bride Stripped Bare” (1978), is an album that has some dark movements but then, every album Ferry records is a stunning individualistic effort that fans enjoy. Ferry defined Roxy Music, Roxy Music defined Ferry, and one can see and hear common threads roaming through the works of each.  We hope you will look for this fabulous album out wherever you shop for the finest in rock music. We know you will enjoy it.

The presentation commenced on Monday, 30-November-2015 through Sunday, 20-March-2016. This offering also included Blind Faith. We hope you will seek them out and add them to your collection.

[vi] The music of this famed British band, Family as well as the spin-off group, Streetwalkers, appeared on Tuesday, 08-October-2013 through Thursday, 31-October-2013. Sadly, at the time, we failed to promote the music of both Axis Point as well as Roger Chapman’s solo catalog so we hope to correct those mistakes sometime within the next five years.

[vii] We began celebrating the music of Wishbone Ash beginning on Sunday, October 28, 2018 and continued it through Sunday, January 06, 2019. From there, we covered the music of Martin Turner’s Wishbone Ash beginning on January 07, 2019 through Sunday, January 13, 2019. We hope you will seek them out and add them to your collection of the BEST rock-and-roll music. You will be glad you did.

[viii] We first began offering the music of Fleetwood Mac on Monday, 03-January-2011 through Thursday, 27-January-2011. On Tuesday, 18-January-2011, we promoted the album, “Rumours.” Please seek their music out by checking posts on those corresponding dates. We thank you.

[ix] We look forward to sharing the music of AC/DC sometime within the next five years. Remain vigilant for the day when we do.

Conspiracy Theory: IS “Tiny Mikey” Bloomberg the Trump secret weapon? Sure looks that way

I have been wondering as of late as to whether Mike Bloomberg is truly the “Trump Secret Weapon to win Big in 2020?” I mean, if you want to see a sexist, a misogynist, a Pro-Death-er, a proud bigot, a homophobe, and a scuzz ball, he fits the bill.

WINTER SESSION 2020

BLOG POST #3,398 AT THE AICP-END

261 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2020

I may never vote Democrat again if Tom Perez does not force “Tiny Mikey” Bloomberg to follow the same rules he imposed upon everyone else from day one…

Honolulu, HI 96782, 02-19-2020 Wednesday: Tonight is the night, folks, we are doing a bang up business in pupus and poke and all manner of other wonderful appetizers and sashimi platters because the BIG SIX Democrat sluggers are going to debate.  We have been shelling opihis all day so we can make our house salad.  This matchup is expected to be a sizzler because “Tiny Mikey” Bloomberg, the little Menehune of a former New York mayor, is going to face off against Joe Biden, Liz Warren, Amy Klobuchar, Bernie Sanders, and Mayor Pete.  Going to be fun to watch, that much I can tell you.

What I am saying is that “Tiny Mikey” has the other Democratic candidates chomping at the bit and why would they not be chomping down hard?  I mean, this man has managed to waltz into the fray without meeting all the heretofore oppressive standards imposed upon the rest of the candidates, candidates who should all be invited to return because if the rules change for one, they should change for all.

Now, I am not saying we should go back and ask dummies like Eric Swalwell, Tim Ryan, Wayne Messam, Michael Bennett, Joe Sestak, and some of the other dumbbells to return but we sure as heck could invite other people back like Cory Booker, Kirsten Gillibrand, Kamala Harris, and some of the others who truly might have stood a chance but who had to bail because they could not meet the onerous standards.

I mean, can anyone tell me why Tulsi Gabbard has not been invited to return to the stage because of all the Democrats, she is the sanest among them.  She should have been allowed to continue the fight because unlike some of the others- Andrew Yang and Tom Steyer- she was not trying to buy the nomination whereas those two and “Tiny Mikey” Bloomberg most certainly are.

As for the Democrats remaining in the fight NOW, how is allowing “Tiny Mikey” to join the battle for the 2020 nomination even remotely fair?  There is no way it’s ‘fair,’ it’s highly unfair, it’s wrong, it is bad, and it will scar the party for decades to come.

Although I have already said I will vote for Donald Trump, if someone sane emerged on our side who might be able to do the job, say Joe Biden and Tulsi Gabbard, I could be persuaded to return.  However, how can I return to voting Democrat if we have a lolo like Bloomberg who has said, “I’d like to do that piece of meat.”  What?  Talk about sexism, it is alive and well on our side.  It simply must end.

The Democratic Party is in a tailspin, there is no doubt about it.  When we already suffer from how the leadership of the party- ahem, Donna Brazile and others- did everything imaginable and then some to get the 2016 nomination to tired old Hillary at Bernie’s expense, how can we turn around and have Tom Perez rob the other people who struggled to gain traction and ignite excitement?

You see, the 17 dropouts so far did everything the arbitrary rules imposed upon them demanded them to do so how do we turn around and allow a New York billionaire to buy the nomination?  It’s not right.   No wonder the party is in danger of going over the cliff and onto the rocks below.   And, you have the nerve to ask me, WHY I am going to vote for Trump?

I am not voting for Trump because I love the guy but the mess that is occurring in the Democratic Party is a shame, an out-and-out shame and I am embarrassed.  If someone other than Trump would continue the good things he is doing with the economy, I could be persuaded to vote my party again but if this is how it’s going to be and when combined with all the crackpot stuff people like Bernie and Liz and Mayor Pete and some of the others are pushing, what choice do I or anyone else have?

Friends, tonight should be fun because I think the other Dems are going to stick a fork into “Tiny Mikey” Bloomberg and pronounce him “done.”  Going to watch the fireworks.  How about you?

Aloha.  See you tomorrow.  Let me know what YOU think?
