  59. 2020 Saturday A: Protests continue around the nation over the death of George Floyd this past Monday in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  The night before, extremely violent protests left many cities little more than moonscapes with stores burnt down, the husks of cars littering the streets.  As day progressed, more and more protesters and rioters returned to the streets and began going at it again.  There can be NO question that communist China is colluding with the Democratic Party via funding and resources because the level of coordination for the conflagrations around the country is beyond most liberal losers to pull off on their own.  We believe that President Trump must rebuff Beijing every day and tell them, “YOU aren’t getting away with this!”  Free Hong Kong!  Free Taiwan!  Free Macau!  Free Tibet!  Now, for the Wuhan Bat Flu statistics.  Here we go:
  60. 2020 Saturday B: The Chinese Virus continues flowing around the world but with the protests raging in the streets of America, no one seems much concerned.  Many aren’t wearing masks.  Here are the global stats for today: 6,054,187 confirmed cases, 368,711 confirmed deaths, but 2,562,191 confirmed recoveries which far outpaces the number of deaths.  Excellent.  Here are the stats for the United States: 1,805,745 confirmed cases, 105,159 confirmed deaths, but 390,404 confirmed recoveries which would be much higher if Blue State governors were honest and would share those numbers.  In the three states where the American Institute of Culinary Politics-The Elemental News of the Day has chef-authors, California, Hawaii, and Washington, here are the stats, Golden State first: 108,878 confirmed cases, 4,060 confirmed deaths, but NO MENTION yet again of confirmed recoveries.  Governor Gavin Newsom, get with it and share those numbers, you worthless POS.  In Hawaii, here are the stats: 647 confirmed cases, 17 confirmed deaths, but 604 confirmed recoveries which is extremely good.  Finally, here are the stats for Washington: 21,288 confirmed cases, 1,118 confirmed deaths, but like California, NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Gov. Jay Inslee plays the same brand of deceptive liberal politics and won’t share honest statistics.  Shame on him!  Shame on Gov. Newsom!  Recall BOTH of them.
  61. 2021 Sunday: COVID-19 Statistics for the Planet as a Whole: 171,006,181 confirmed cases, +388,054, 3,556,019  confirmed deaths, +7,837 and 153,278,160 confirmed recoveries, +52,339.  Next, here are the stats for the United States: 34,042,922 confirmed cases, UP 7,604 from yesterday’s reporting, 609,544 confirmed deaths, UP 124,[vi] and 27,840,817 confirmed recoveries, UP 21,856.  We genuinely appreciate COVID Live Update World Meter for being honest in covering ALL the numbers- God bless them.[vii]
  62. 2021 Sunday A: NOTE: since Joe Biden became president on January 20, 2021, there have been 291,598 Chi-Vi deaths in the United States- feeble old Joe, by the end of the year, you will have tied the total number witnessed by the Trump administration in nearly a year of the rampaging coronavirus pandemic.    Under President Trump’s watch, there were 404,078 fatalities from the Chi-Com Bat Virus. Currently, Joe is shy 168,011 deaths
  63. 2021 Sunday B: COVID-19 Statistics in the four states in which, the world-famous American Institute of Culinary Politics-the Elemental News of the Day employs chef-bloggers- California, Florida, Hawaii, and Washington- here are the stats, California first: 3,789,318 confirmed cases, 63,245 confirmed deaths, and 2,054,021 confirmed recoveries.  Moving on, here are the numbers for Florida: 2,320,818 confirmed cases, 36,774 confirmed deaths, and 1,943,113 confirmed recoveries.  Next here are the numbers for Hawaii: 36,246 confirmed cases, 500 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries (same as yesterday’s count).  Finally, here are the stats for Washington: 437,952 confirmed cases, 5,829 confirmed deaths, and 212,777 confirmed recoveries.  Let us look at one other portion of the U.S., Indiana: they have 743,696 confirmed cases, 13,620 confirmed deaths, and 710,986 confirmed recoveries.[viii]
  64. 2021 Sunday C: Now that Mo has relocated to Israel, let’s look at the statistics there: 839,458 confirmed cases, 6,411 confirmed deaths, and 832,693 confirmed recoveries (same as yesterday’s figures).   Let’s look at one non-country- El Salvador, home of MS-13: 73,246 cases of the virus, 2,245 confirmed deaths and 68,408 confirmed recoveries.[ix]
  65. 2021 Sunday D: Friday’s Stock Market Closes/Precious And Rare Metals: DOW Jones Industrial Average: 34,529.45, UP 64.81 points (+0.19%).  Next, the NASDAQ: 13,748.74, UP 12.46 points (+0.091%).  Finally, here are the stats for the S&P 500: 4,204.11, UP 3.23 points (+0.077%).  The price of Light Sweet Crude Oil is $66.63 per barrel, +0.31 (+0.47%).  The price of GOLD is $1,903.70 per troy oz., +1.20 (+0.06%) while the price of SILVER is $28.07 per troy ounce, +0.05 (+0.18%).  The price of PLATINUM is $1,184.40 per troy oz, +2.00 (+0.17%) while the price of COPPER is $4.67 per pound, -0.01 (-0.17%).[x]  The price of PALLADIUM is $2,822.33 per troy oz, +17.19 (+0.61%).[xi] The price of RHODIUM is $24,750.00 per troy oz., +2000.00 (+8.79%).[xii]    Currently, Bitcoin, one U.S. greenback = 0.000028.  As for Chi-Com money, one-dollar U.S. = 6.37 Chinese yuan.  Meanwhile, one-dollar U.S. = 0.82 euros and in Mexican pesos equals 19.93.     In Central African CFA Franc, one greenback equals 532.21 and in Chilean Peso, a buck equals 724.05 and in Colombian Peso, one dollar equals 3,705.75 of theirs.[xiii]
  66. 2021 Sunday E: U.S. National Debt And Gasoline Prices In The Four States In Which We Have Chef-Authors– Thanks to the Biden administration, gasoline prices continue rising by the day- in California, gasoline prices have risen to over $4.197 per gallon, $2.866 in Florida, $3.926 in Hawaii, and $3.576 in Washington state.[xiv]    Let’s look at one other location- U.S. Arizona: $3.126.  We are going to do something else that could be fun- gasoline prices around the world going from cheapest to highest.  The next country on the list has the next lowest gasoline price in the world- Sierra Leone: $3.142 per U.S. Gallon.[xv]  Meanwhile, here is a snapshot of the U.S. National Debt for today: $28,348,229,478,276 and the Democrats are adding TRILLIONS of dollars to it, not BILLIONS but flipping TRILLIONS.[xvi]  Cloward and Piven causing problems like they always do.
  67. 2021 Sunday F: Joe Biden’s Border Catastrophe– By our count, this is Day #69 for the so-called ‘Border Czar’ “Kooky Kamala” Harris, aka the “Laughing Hyena,” to be in charge of the southern border and not to have visited it.  Her ‘vice presidential’ salary is being well-spent as you can see.
  68. 2021 Sunday G: Foreign News / Overseas News– It looks like the Israelis are going to do to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu what the British people did to Prime Minister Winston Churchill at the end of World War II after he saved the UK like Netanyahu has Israel- countless time- vote him out and move on.  Netanyahu has saved Israel countless times and now that he has and the Palestinians have lit them up with more than 4,000 rockets, it appears the liberals in Israel are going to boot him and suck up to Gaza Strip and to Iran in a roundabout way,  Wow. At least Bill Maher is defending Israel unlike the rest of American liberals.  In other foreign and overseas news, news reports say that Mexican drug cartels are hunting Mexican law enforcement officers in their homes.  It sounds like Mexico- if it wants to remain a sovereign nation instead of an Afghanistan-like s**thole, they had better mobilize their military and start cleaning out this nest of vipers.
  69. 2021 Sunday H: Voting Integrity / Fraudulent And Stolen Election News– The Arizona 2020 Election Audit continues even without the help of Democrats within the state who seem to be intent at keeping it under wraps rather than jumping in with both feet to demonstrate there was NO funny business.  The auditors are hand-counting 1 million ballots.  God bless them for doing what is RIGHT.
  70. 2021 Sunday I: Crime and Punishment News / Law Enforcement News– In the era of ‘Drooling Joe’ Biden, last night/early this morning in Miami-Dade County in Florida, a gunman assaulted a concert, shot two dead, and wounded another 20.  In this era of gun control, amazing at how many folks are getting shot.   Meanwhile, Governor Gavin “The Nazi” Newsom, DS, is bragging about how well gun control in the Golden State is doing a few days after the VTA train yard massacre in San Jose, California.   In another incident last night in Pittsburgh, a thug opens fire at a shopping mall but killed no one- two perps are in custody.
  71. 2021 Sunday J: Political News I– The Wisconsin state Assembly has ordered an investigation into Mark Zuckerberg-funded Center for Tech and Civic Life.  About time this little POS began to get his.  Next, a Michigan court rules that six recall petitions against Governor “Gravel Gertie” Gretchen Whitmer and one against Lt. Governor Garlin Gilchrist can move ahead.  Good.  Remove both of them from office.  Still, their supporters say they will fight the recall efforts in the courts.  Time to cut bait and go.  Moving on, as the Texas elections security bill moves forward, mumbling, stumbling old senile Joe Biden blasts the Lone Star State.  What a loser. Elsewhere, Governor J. Kevin Stitt, R-OK, says that ‘masks are no longer required in all government buildings.’
  72. 2021 Sunday K: Political News II– One America News reports a major poll regarding HOW the American people- in this case, New Yorkers- feel about the Xi Jinping Bat Flu.  Nearly 100-percent of the respondents believe the Chi-Vi came out of the Wuhan Institute of Virology nor did they believe it a naturally-occurring virus but a lab-engineered one cooked up by the Chi-Coms.  Some even believed it was retaliation for President Donald J. Trump putting an ass-whooping on them over trade.  (Note- we have said that the virus was ‘too convenient’ as for the Chi-Coms, it allowed them to clamp down on Hong Kong as well as to put their stooge Joe Biden into the White House.  They are going to pay for this BIG TIME.  Retribution is coming).
  73. 2021 Sunday L: Political News III– Rep. Guy Reschenthaler, R-PA 14th congressional district, says the ONLY one responsible for rising inflation is Joe Biden and no one else.  In other political news, Democrats are pushing ahead with H.R. 127- the Firearm Licensing and Registration Act- which requires even more background checks, 24 hours of training paid for by the gun buyer, as well as clearance by a psychiatrist who will interview NOT only the buyer but every member of the immediate family meaning any and all relatives they can reel in with their dragnet.  Even more problematic is that all this information would become PUBLIC meaning everyone would know the guns one has as well as all the background information.  (Note- good thing we all have our firearms and will only buy them out of the backs of car trunks should this crap law ever become law of the land).
  74. 2021 Sunday M: Miscellaneous News I– the United Nations has released a report stating the danger of KILLER autonomous drones flying all over the damned place.  How soon before targeted assassinations are occurring in the skies above every nation?  If the tech companies can kill people with impunity in the Third World, soon, the thugs in the Third  will be repaying the favor.   Elsewhere, former General David Petraeus says the government has a responsibility to care for U.S. service personnel sickened by the notorious burn pits.  Meanwhile, the U.S. Coast Guard calls off a search for 10 missing Cuban refugees who went into the water off the Florida Keys.  Two bodies were recovered while several others were rescued.  The Coast Guard searched 800,000 square miles of ocean.
  75. 2022 Monday:  It’s a holiday weekend, hopefully it will be a slow news day…

The next Beach Boys album remains one of our favorites; in fact, it is the first of several that we hold especially dear.  Today’s album, “Sunflower,” came out on August 31, 1970, and although critics once again were extremely unkind and sales were crappy, it is an extraordinary album from start to finish.  The lineup on “Sunflower” features Brian Wilson (bass, piano, organ, vocals), Mike Love (vocals), Carl Wilson (vocals and guitars), Dennis Wilson (drums and vocals), Alan Jardine (guitars, bass, and vocals), and Bruce Johnston (vocals and bass).  Beginning with “Slip on Through,” sung by Dennis, the absolutely beautiful, “This Whole World” sung by Carl followed by “Add Some Music to Your Day” sung by all the band members to “Got to Know the Woman” (another Dennis rocker) to “Deidre” by Bruce Johnston to “It’s About Time,” a rocker sung by Carl and Mike.  Side two starts off with another Bruce Johnston classic, “Tears in the Morning” followed by the hauntingly beautiful, “All I Wanna Do” (Mike Love).  Next, “Forever,” a lovely Dennis love song followed by “Our Sweet Love,” a heart-warming Carl Wilson love song to “At My Window” (Bruce and Brian) to the closer, “Cool, Cool Water” sung by Brian and Mike.  Folks, this is one of the best albums by the Beach Boys and the first of several that are absolutely stunning.  We hope you seek it out and make it part of your nonstop growing collection.  Enjoy.

[ii] We look forward to doing the Clash but expect to do Supertramp first, then Pink Floyd, then Electric Light Orchestra/the Move, then Yes, and then perhaps the Clash.  They are among the amazing British rock bands of the 1970s and deserve to be acknowledged as such.

[iii] We hope to share the music of Lynyrd Skynyrd sometime in the next decade.  At least by 2029.

[iv] We began promoting the music of both the Beatles and the band’s individual components on Friday, 04-November-2016 through Sunday, 11-June-2018.  Besides the Beatles, we also promoted the music of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, and George Harrison as well as the Traveling Wilburys.    The “White Album” appeared on Thursday, 24-November-2016.  Please seek out this massive offering by visiting the blog posts between those dates. You will be glad you did.

[v] We began offering music by the supergroup Cream on Friday, 17-January-2014 through Monday, 03-February-2014.  Please seek out their albums by visiting posts on those corresponding dates.  You will be glad you did.  Sadly, at the time, we also should have presented the solo catalogs of Eric Clapton, Jack Bruce, and Ginger Baker.  When we do, Derek and the Dominoes will be among them.  We hope to do so at some point within the next decade or so.

Author: Working Chef V. Vicky Mazarotti, ACF CWC, CPC, IACP

My career commenced as a young chef back in the 1970's when I was working at a hotel in San Francisco. I had the opportunity to work in many various parts of the country and worked my way up the culinary ladder to become a top chef. I am both a Certified Working Chef and a Certified Pastry Chef and am a member of the American Culinary Federation, the world's top authority on everything connected to cooking. The picture you see here of me is one that talented Bakersfield, California, up-and-coming street artist, the famed Simone, did of me for the blog. Given how the world now is, we do our best to secure our identities due to increasing left-wing lunacy. I hope you understand.
