Speaking of the senile House speaker, she has ONE ARTICLE of impeachment against the 45th president ready to go which Talk Radio GIANT Rush Limbaugh presumes to be the opening round in negotiations to get Trump out of office in exchange for no prosecutions against him or members of his family for all time provided he never runs again.  This could be true, but we doubt President Trump will give in to his worst political enemy.

Bragg.  Next, the PGA is canceling a contract between President Trump’s Bedminster Course and the organization, one that would have seen the 2022 PGA Championship played there.  Wow.

Trump and its participation in the war against Parler, Twitter’s shares drop by an astounding 7-percent.  Not good for them.  Even more interesting, noted Trump critic, German Chancellor Angela Merkel says that ‘President Trump’s eviction from Twitter is problematic.’  It’s okay for the Iranians to talk about killing everyone but President Trump sharing his mind is EVIL and must be stopped.  What a load of crap.  Good for you, Herr Chancellor.  Speaking of Twitter, after their San Francisco headquarters calls cops because there are a few people outside the facility protesting their actions against Trump, Jack Dorsey calls for police protection.

Finally, famed NFL football coach Bill Belichick is going to receive the Medal of Freedom, the highest award for a civilian[xi].
  74. 2021 Monday G:  One year on from the first death of the infamous Chi-Vi, the People’s Republic of (Communist) China still won’t provide answers to the world.  Meanwhile, questions continue swirling around Governor Andrew “Killer” Cuomo as to WHY tens of thousands of precious COVID-19 vaccines- vaccines this POS begged for- are ending up in the garbage dumpsters across the state, unused, out-of-date, and spoiled.  Boy, would we love to see this POS wearing an orange jumpsuit doing time in a federal supermax penitentiary.   Still, we hear that Governor Cuomo and his dingbat buddy, Mayor Bill Di Blasio are down on their decrepit knees praying to their god, Karl Marx, that ‘Pro-China Joe’ Biden will bail them out once he occupies the White House.  Let them suffer.  Elsewhere, Texas state officials are considering a secession movement.
  75. 2021 Monday H: B-I-G changes occurring at the Fox News Channel what with a reordering or demotion of long-time hosts with Martha MacCallum becoming the first casualty, demoted to daytime TV.  They are doing this because Newsmax is cleaning their clocks.  We know that everyone we know who watched FNC has abandoned the network and gone to Newsmax and OAN.  It’s NOT your hosts, Fox, it’s YOU, ordering your highly paid hosts no longer to talk about Donald Trump or the 2020 Presidential Election honestly.  Combined with far too many liberals across your network, you made your bed now sleep in it.   Elsewhere, Colin Powell says he’s ‘no longer a Republican.’  Note to Colin: you haven’t been a Republican in 20 flipping years.  Meanwhile, DHS Secretary Chad Wolf announces he is resigning his position.  The rats continue jumping off the ship.  Finally, Louisiana Democrat Congressman Benny Thompson says, ‘Republicans should be on the NO-FLY LIST.’  Wow.  Talk about unification!

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

There is one thing one can say about British folk-rock band, Fairport Convention, and that is, they continue soldiering along while others of their generation have boarded up the windows, sealed the doors, and slapped ‘gone fishing’ notices on the plywood.  The band’s next live album, “Journeyman’s Grace,” hit record store shelves on August 18, 2005.  The band included virtuoso Andy Guttridge (acoustic guitars), Ric Sanders (violins), Dave Pegg (acoustic and electric basses, and tenor mandola), Simon Nichol (guitars and vocals), Gerry Conway (drums), and Chris Leslie (mandolins, fiddles, cellos, and flutes).  The two discs contain 20 classic tunes as only this veteran band can deliver which is why we encourage everyone to rush out to their favorite record shop and pick it up.  You will be glad you did, that we guarantee.

Monday, January 11, 2021, Today in History:

We feel compelled to share with our new readers that we are an OPINION SITE and not a NEWS SITE although we do report the news.  If anything, we are big history buffs which is why we have been going strong since early 2009…

ENDNOTES:

[i] We look forward to doing the Clash but expect to do Supertramp first, then Pink Floyd, then Electric Light Orchestra/the Move, then Yes, and then perhaps the Clash.  They are among the amazing British rock bands of the 1970s and deserve to be acknowledged as such.

[ii] Sadly, Detective was a short-lived band but one that had the potential to be as legendary as Led Zeppelin, if only Disco was not trashing the airwaves.  You will find their three albums on: (1) Tuesday, 29-July-2014, (2) Thursday, 31-July-2014, and (3) Friday, 01-August-2014.  We hope you will seek them out.

[iii] We hope to offer the music of Dire Straits sometime in 2021-2022.  Please stay tuned.

[iv] Not sure when we will begin promoting the Amboy Dukes and Ted Nugent, but we hope to do so within the next decade.  Please stay tuned.

[v] We began promoting the music of Foghat, one of the all-time greatest rock bands to explode out of England, beginning on Monday, 18-February-2018 through Monday, 19-March-2018.  We hope you will seek the music of this celebrated group out by checking out the blog posts on those dates.

[vi] We began promoting the music of both the Beatles and the band’s individual components on Friday, 04-November-2016 through Sunday, 11-June-2018.  Besides the Beatles, we also promoted the music of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, and George Harrison as well as the Traveling Wilburys.

[vii] We expect to do the music of Jethro Tull, Wild Turkey, Ian Anderson, and Paris sometime in the next 5-6 years.  We hope you will still be with us.

[viii] We hope to promote the music of this famous British band, T-Rex, sometime within the next five years.

[ix] We promoted the music of the Jefferson Airplane beginning on Tuesday, 05-April-2011 through Sunday, 22-May-2011.  This presentation included the Jefferson Starship, too, of which, the artist was NOT a member.

[x] We first began offering the music of Fleetwood Mac on Monday, 03-January-2011 through Thursday, 27-January-2011.  Please seek their music out by checking posts on those corresponding dates.  We thank you.

[xi] Late in the day the famed football coach said he would not accept the honor; we believe out of cowardice as to what might happen if he did.  Can’t have President Donald Trump give him an award when everyone hates the guy, right?  What a pussy.
