GG. 1942 Sunday A: Meanwhile, the U.S. Congress advises President Franklin Delano Roosevelt that Americans of Japanese descent on the West Coast and in Hawaii should undergo incarceration en masse until the end of hostilities so they do not oppose the U.S. war effort. This would lead to nations in the Caribbean and in Latin America to begin turning their Japanese, Italian, and German nationals over to the U.S. for internment, too.

  64. 2015 Sunday:  Beck wins Album of the Year and Sam Smith wins both Song and Record of the Year at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards, while “The Grand Budapest Hotel” wins five awards and “Boyhood” wins best film at the 68th BAFTA Awards.  Elsewhere, in Egypt, clashes between soccer fans get out of control as 22 people are killed in skirmishes with the police.  This forces suspension of soccer games.

  67. 2018 Thursday: Twitter reports its first quarterly profit numbers as a public company.  Congratulations to Jack Dorsey, CEO, and head censor of the company.  Our advice to you: STOP censoring free speech, schmuck.  Elsewhere, Russia and Syria lodge another protest against the ‘illegal activities U.S. military forces are carrying out in their country’ in the fight to destroy ISIS.  They want the U.S. out ASAP.   Meanwhile, Bermuda becomes the first nation to legalize same-sex marriage (2017) and then repeals the law authorizing such unions which it did on this date.
  68. 2019 Friday: Following heavy snowfall in Washington state, Gov. Jay Inslee, Democrat, declared a public emergency.  Not sure if he blamed the snow on global warming, his favorite topic.  Meanwhile, Amazon.com bigwig and founder, Jeff Bezos, attacks The National Enquirer and its owner, American Media Inc. of trying to blackmail him over private messages discovered and published by the celebrated publication that shown that Bezos was schlepping someone other than his wife.  This would lead to the costliest divorce in the history of the planet.  Elsewhere, an unnamed senior White House official reveals to Reuters that the administration is in private talks with the Venezuelan military encouraging them to turn on POS murderous thug dictator Nicolas Maduro.
  69. 2020 Saturday: NBC reports today that as the Chinese Virus continues enveloping parts of the world, the first two foreigners to die of lab-engineered virus in Wuhan- one Japanese and one American- did so today.  This does not count the numbers of communist Chinese or Hong Kong citizens who have died from this evil crap.  Elsewhere, U.S. and Afghan security forces holding joint exercises end up fighting with one another leaving between 4-6 Americans and at least 6 Afghans dead.  Investigators are trying to find out if the Taliban, al-Qaida, or ISIS infiltrated human trash into the ranks of the Afghan troops.
  70. 2021 Monday: As Joe Biden continues eliminating his predecessor’s legacy, he announces today that he is going to do something truly stupid and that is to remove the “anarchist jurisdiction’ label from crap-hole cities such as New York City, Portland, Oregon, and Seattle that limit federal funds to these cities overrun with Antifa and BLM human fecal matter and which do nothing about it.  Bet you feel really good, don’t you, Joe?  Next, Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers considers legislation that will legalize pot.  Elsewhere, California Governor Gavin “The Smiler” Newsom’s approval ratings and popularity numbers are approaching single digits as Californians of all parties seek to oust this POS loser from office via recall.  Two new challengers are entering the race to replace him in the recall election- entrepreneur Major Williams and businessman John Cox.
  71. 2021 Monday A: With re-impeachment looming tomorrow, Republicans plan on showing how it is ‘unconstitutional.’  Folks, impeaching someone is NOT a president and without the chief justice of the United States Supreme Court calling balls and strikes, it is little more than politics, a circus, a load of steaming hog hooey.  Everyone participating in this charade must be removed from office in upcoming elections.   Elsewhere, Missouri freshman Congresswoman Cori Bush sides with rioting inmates over law enforcement and the rule of law.  Recall this dimwit.   Speaking of Democrat losers, there are photos of House Speaker Nancy “Mumbles” Pelosi walking around metal detectors in the halls of Congress.  Someone hit her with the $5,000 fine she imposed on her members for committing such an egregious act.   Moreover, speaking of Democrat losers, the little dimwit Senator Chris Murphy, D-Connecticut, says, “There is NO comparison between the words of lunatic Congresswoman “Gasoline Maxine” Waters of California and those of Donald J. Trump.  Hence why you are rated among the stupider members of the U.S. Senate, Mr. Murphy.
  72. 2021 Monday B: Biden press secretary Jen “Circle Back” Psaki dismisses questions about impending job losses over the coming raising of the federal minimum wage of $15 per hour.  She laughed it off.  Speaking of such idiocy, U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen blows off fears of coming double-digit inflation due to the oncoming $1.9 trillion Biden stimulus plan as well as near-zero interest rates.  Folks, we point it out every day- expect the country to be in the tank by mid-summer thanks to (1) a jacked up minimum wage; (2) pandemic politics; and (3) massive numbers of illegal aliens who are low-to-no-skilled taking American jobs and receiving wages under the table.  Someone else who is unhappy with the Biden administration is AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka, someone whom we thought was going to endorse Donald J. Trump.  He is unhappy about the all the job losses that have already occurred under the 46th president as well as the millions to come.  We told you so, Mr. Trumka.  You could have supported President Trump and continued seeing your members enjoy rising wages, better benefits, and increased prosperity.
  73. 2021 Monday C: In foreign news and issues, Joe Biden’s claims of being ‘tough on communist China are met with skepticism, if not outright laughter.  He will do nothing.  Next, Joe Biden’s stupid border policies are causing massive caravans heading to the U.S. borders and thousands of illegal aliens flooding into the U.S.  Time to start laying minefields along that border, folks.  Meanwhile, following the arrest of one of its press corps in communist China, Australia calls other reporters home.  NOW.   Elsewhere, after receiving the Sputnik V Chi-Vi vaccine from Russia, the Grand Ayatollah Ali Khamenei warns Iranians citizens to ‘avoid those who have gotten the vaccines because they’ve become homosexuals.’  Say what?  Vladimir Putin, what the hell are YOU doing to Iran?   Finally, Saudi Arabia has shot down four recent weaponized drones crossing into its airspace from Yemen where the Houthi rebels are running amok.  Neutron bombs, folks, that’s the answer for the Houthis.
  74. 2021 Monday D: Senator Lindsey Graham, labeled “Lady G” by press secretary Jen “Circle Back” Psaki- a homosexual slur- urges the Biden administration NOT to abandon all of his predecessor’s foreign policies just because you don’t like their creator.  Lindsey, Biden is getting rid of EVERYTHING.  You know it, we know it, hell, everyone knows it.  Speaking of RINO senators, Alabama Senator Richard Shelby says he ‘won’t seek another term’ which leaves it open for Jeff Sessions to come back- again.  Elsewhere, following a weekend in which two were killed and 20 shot in Chicago, Windy City Mayor Lori Lightfoot announces that Chi-Town and the teachers’ union have reached an agreement with which to reopen the schools and to get the little tykes back into class.    Finally, Texas Republican Congressman Ron Wright, died from a combination of cancer and the ‘VID;’ we know the COVID-19 will be the cause of death.
  75. 2021 Monday E: Two GOP congressmen have offered up the Oversight Members and Relatives Act- the OMAR Act- because members of congress such as Ilhan Omar, D-MN, and ‘Gasoline Maxine’ Waters have poured millions of dollars from their campaign coffers into the pockets of their family members.  Rep. Tom Tiffany, R-WI, and Rep. Mike Gallagher, R-WI, said it was time for an act such as this.  We agree.  Enough with all these scoundrels enriching themselves and their families at the taxpayers’ expense.  Speaking of self-enrichment, Dr. Vivek Murthy, Joe Biden’s pick for surgeon-general has made hundreds of thousands of dollars in speaking fees from- wait, you guessed it- BIG HEALTHCARE.  Wow.  Does it ever end?   Meanwhile, Tampa Bay’s Democrat Mayor Jane Castor says she is ‘appalled that citizens of her community were without masks during the Super Bowl and that law enforcement will identify the offenders and will do something about it once the scumbags are identified.’  Wow.  Another wannabe Gretchen Whitmer on the loose…
  76. 2021 Monday F: Here are the numbers for the Xi Jinping Bat Flu- Pelosi Pox:  Here are the statistics for the planet as a whole: 106,314,695 confirmed cases, +300,0472 2,320,720, confirmed deaths, +6,928, and 59,303,299 confirmed recoveries, +231,945.  Next, here are the stats for the United States, the intended target of the Chinese-engineered Wuhan Virus pandemic: 27,319,269 confirmed cases, up 67,092 from yesterday’s reporting, 468,379 confirmed deaths, UP 1,040, and 11,166,500 confirmed recoveries- no update in more than two weeks- what’s up with that? NOTE: SINCE JOE BIDEN BECAME PRESIDENT ON JANUARY 20, 2021, THERE HAVE BEEN 138,473 CHI-VI DEATHS IN THE U.S.  Joe, YOU claimed you had a plan to defeat the communist virus, what the hell are YOU going to do about it- sit on your ass and blame everything on Donald Trump.
  77. 2021 Monday G: Next, in the three states in which, the world-famous American Institute of Culinary Politics-the Elemental News of the Day employs chef-bloggers- California, Hawaii, and Washington- here are the stats, California first: 3,417,099 confirmed cases, 44,159 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Next here are the numbers for Hawaii: 26,468 confirmed cases, 418 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Finally, here are the stats for leftist-Marxist-socialist hellhole of Washington: 323,947 confirmed cases, 4,531 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Let us look at one other piece of U.S. real estate- Pennsylvania: currently, they have 875,557 confirmed cases, 22,493 confirmed deaths, and NO mention of confirmed recoveries.  Now that Mo has relocated to Israel, let’s look at the statistics there: 696,528 confirmed cases, 5,171 confirmed deaths, and 619,100 confirmed recoveries.
  78. 2021 Monday H:  Here are today’s Stock Market closes: DOW Jones Industrial Average: 31,385.76, UP 237.52 points (+0.76%).  Next, the NASDAQ: 13,987.64, UP 131.35 points (+0.95%).  Finally, here are the stats for the S&P 500: 3,915.59, UP 28.76 points (+0.74%).  The reason for the UP markets is because these morons are anticipating the passage of Biden’s ‘COVID-19 relief/stimulus package which is going to put the country into still deeper debt.  Go figure.  The price of GOLD is $1,832.40 per troy oz., -1.90 (-0.10%) while the price of SILVER is $27.38 per troy ounce, -0.20 (-0.73%).  The price of PLATINUM is $1,172.50 per troy oz, -2.70 (-0.23%) while the price of COPPER is $3.68 per pound, +0.01 (+0.29%).  The price of PALLADIUM is $2,342.50 per troy oz, -0.50 (-0.02%).  The price of Light Sweet Crude Oil is $58.05 per barrel, +0.08 (+0.14%).  Currently, one-dollar U.S. = 6.44 Chi-Com yuan.   Meanwhile, one-dollar U.S. = 0.83 euros and in Mexican pesos equals 20.09.  As for Bitcoin, one U.S. greenback = 0.000022.
  79. 2021 Monday I: We said it earlier today but the Congressional Budget Office announced today that Joe Biden’s $15 hour minimum wage is going to cost the country another 1.4 million jobs- on the low end- once it goes into effect.  An AP Poll says that just 16-percent of Americans think U.S. democracy is in good shape.  Another 45-percent said the country is not functioning as it should be while 80-percent said the rule of law, functioning judicial system, free and fair elections,
  80. 2021 Monday J: Meanwhile, former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley says, ‘Joe Biden’s transgender rules is a war on women.’  Amen.   Next, POS Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger is launching an investigation into that EVIL-EVIL-EVIL Trump for him trying to get this wonderful public servant to throw the election in his favor.  Whoa.  Friends, after listening to hours of people testifying before the Georgia Senate, the secretary of state should be doing time in the hoosegow.   Finally, New York prosecutors have dropped all charges against pardoned Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort- and they kept this poor man in solitary confinement.  EVIL.
  81. 2021 Monday K: There is talk that communist China and its thug leader Xi Jinping could face charges before the International Court for committing genocide against its Uighur minority, people who are imprisoned in concentration camps being made into ‘worthy citizens’ of Mao Zedong’s horrible hellhole.  A British legal firm working on behalf of human rights releases reams of evidence showing that what the Chi-Coms are doing in Xinjiang Province to their Muslim minorities is a disguised genocide of a thriving people.  Elsewhere, reports suggest that Kim Jong Un built up his nuclear weapons arsenal and missile systems with which to deliver said atomic weapons during the course of last year.  Uncle Joe Biden, what are YOU going to do about this threat?   Meanwhile, Fox News host Tucker Carlson reports that the Biden administration is not going to deport illegal aliens convicted of violent crimes including sex crimes.  And this senile old POS wants to be president of ALL the American people or so he promised.   Moreover, Tucker Carlson reports that illegal aliens are being dumped into U.S. neighborhoods without even being tested for COVID-19.  We have said this before, when the bodies start dropping, don’t be shocked.   Finally, whereas the U.S. was apprehending 1,200 illegal aliens at the border each day last year, we are now seeing more than 3,000 illegals trying to enter the country daily.  We say minefields, 50-caliber MG emplacements, and miles and miles and miles of concertina razor wire to augment the existing fence. (Note- some of us support seeding the Rio Grande with baby alligators…)
  82. 2021 Monday L: Niccole Wallace at MSNBC believes that targeted drone strikes should be used against conservative Republicans in the United States who may not believe the 2020 Presidential Election was remotely fair.  I guess since most of us believe it was a load of festering crap, we had better start watching the skies overhead.  We already have more chem trails above our neighborhoods than ever before and NO one ever explains their purpose.  WTF is up?

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

Most bands if they are around long enough release anthologies and UFO is no different from the rest.  On November 11, 1986, UFO released “Anthology,” which in essence is a best of compilation featuring 14 tunes culled from “Phenomenon” to “Making Contact.”  Folks, there are other ‘best of’ compilations out there but if you have yet to introduce the music of this legendary British rock band, we say go for it now- you will be glad you did.  What the heck do you have to lose?  As you know whatever music the American Institute of Culinary Politics-The Elemental News of the Day promotes is better than garbage from Coldplay, Maroon Five, and any other ‘modern day’ band.  You can thank us later.

ENDNOTES:

[i] We offered the music of this famed West Coast band- the Grass Roots- beginning on Thursday, 06-February-2014 through Saturday, 22-February-2014.  We hope you will seek their music out by visiting whatever site you choose for the absolute best in rock music.  You will be glad you did.

[ii] We began promoting the music of Canned Heat on Sunday, 05-June-2011 through Sunday, 17-July-2011.  We hope you will seek them out and add them to your collection.

[iii] We hope to promote the music of the Doobie Brothers sometime before 2030.  We hope you will remain vigilant.

[iv] In an interesting note, many believe the coup in Turkey was engineered by Erdogan to get rid of his political enemies by engineering a coup d’ gras against him.  In 2021 in the United States, following a False Flag operation in which, Antifa-led mobs stormed Capitol Hill and ‘terrified’ lawmakers, the Democrats are doing the same going after every Trump supporter.  The only people in attendance at ‘Joe Biden’s inauguration’ were 27,000 National Guard members.  The Democrats who always say, “WALLS DON’T WORK,” put up walls all over Washington, D.C. and as of today, there are still 7,000 Guardsmen on scene protecting “Usurper Joe.”

Author: Chef Elvin C. McCardle, ACF-CWC

I began my career working as a busboy in 1963, move to washing pots in 1965, became a chef's apprentice in 1969 and have been a career professional ever since. I am still involved in professional foodservice as a consultant for food and beverage professionals. Like everyone else who writes for the American Institute of Culinary Politics-Elemental News of the Day, Bakersfield, California, street artist and graffiti guru, Simone, has done cartoon caricatures of me, which is my personal photo now. We must keep our personal identities confidential as in this world of political animosity and the fact that we own restaurants, which are dependent upon public visitation, has forced us to journey down this road. We hope you understand. Thank you. Chef Elvin C. McCardle writes from Ventura, CA. Chef Elvin C. McCardle is now a Conservative Republican!
