  57. 2017 Thursday: As the battle to vilify President Donald J. Trump continues, the Washington Post prints a story in which it claims the 45th president berated Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull.  The Post reports that Mr. Trump called it ‘the worst call ever’ and expressed his unhappiness over a refugee resettlement deal struck between the Aussies and the Obama regime.  From the very start, legions of spies, leakers, and peeping toms were spying on the new president so they could either frame him for crimes he did not commit or to embarrass him.  Skunks.
  58. 2018 Friday: At the sentencing hearing in Michigan for former sports doctor Larry Nassar, a distraught father of three girls who’d been sexually abused by this POS attempted to attack Nassar before sheriff’s deputies tackled him and hauled him out of court.  Randall Margraves later apologized; the judge said there was “no way” she would fine him or send him to jail for trying to attack Dr. Nassar.  Meanwhile, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell more than 650 points as the stock market completed its worst week in two years amid fears of inflation and disappointing quarterly results from technology and energy giants.
  59. 2019 Saturday: In socialism-ravaged Venezuela, hundreds of thousands of citizens take to the streets protesting their government’s thuggery.  Venezuelan Air Force General Francisco Yanez becomes the first supporter of opposition leader Juan Guiado and denounces the dictatorship of illegitimate leader Nicolas Maduro.   Regarding the crisis in Venezuela, Vice President Mike Pence informs a crowd at a rally in Florida that the time for dialogue is over and that all options are on the table.  Elsewhere, Virginia Governor Ralph “Blackface” Northam says he’s not going to reside because he does not believe that the photos on his college yearbook page depicting him either as a member of the KKK or dressed in blackface are ‘him’ yet there they are- on HIS page.
  60. 2020 Sunday: Today in Super Bowl LIV, the Kansas City Chiefs face off against the San Francisco 49ers.  In a hard-fought game, the Kansas City Chiefs under Coach Andy Reid and quarterback Patrick Mahomes beat Coach Kyle Shanahan and quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo by a final score of 31-20.   We predicted early on that the 49ers and the New England Patriots would meet in Super Bowl LIV but the playoffs saw us half-right.  Pats out in the Wild Card round and instead of the 49ers winning the big prize, the Chiefs won their second overall championship and their first in 50 years.  Wow.  Patrick Mahomes is the MVP.  Congratulations to him, the youngest player to ever win the award in a Super Bowl.
  61. 2020 Sunday A: The Philippines reports the first COVID-19-caused death outside the Chi-Com mainland.  This person was a tourist from the People’s Republic of China.  The government is considering closing its borders to the Chi-Coms which is precisely what New Zealand does- no visitors from communist China.  Elsewhere, Saudi Arabia hosting the upcoming Organization of Islamic Cooperation meeting in Jeddah bans the Iranians from attending which of course leads them to become angry and begin making threats.  Such is their M.O.
  62. 2021 Tuesday: Although we have reported this before, Sandy Cortez, aka Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, aka Baby Evita, aka AOC, must be feeling her oats, folks as once again, we hear rumors that the little skank might primary Senate Majority Leader Charles “Prune Face” Schumer next year.  We suspect that for her, that is the fastest way to be discovered moldering in a landfill.  She also says the Antifa-led Capitol Hill Riots of January 6, 2021, terrified her as she cowered in her bathroom within the building because she is the ‘victim of sexual abuse or assault.’  Honey, most women are- especially those who work in the professional food service industry (as are occasionally young men)- over the course of their lifetimes so grow up, shut up, and move on.  As for challenging “Prune Face,” you must really be sure of yourself.  This is a fight we want to see.  Meanwhile, Congressman Tim Ryan, D-OH, is considering running for outgoing Senator Rob Portman’s seat next year.  We suspect this imbecile has gone as far as he can go.
  63. 2021 Tuesday A:  President Joe Biden is considering nominating another Obama-Biden alum, former Chicago Mayor Rahm “Dead Fish” Emanuel for ambassador to the People’s Republic of China.  Next, after meeting with 10 GOP moderates and RINOs yesterday in the White House, President Biden was unmoved by their pleas for targeted, less expensive COVID-19 relief measures and is pushing forward with his $1.9 trillion stimulus bill.  There you go, Republicans, Democrats could give a f**k what YOU ask for or say.   Elsewhere, the Daily Beast reports that White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki wants questions of reporters in advance.   Meanwhile, Kansas City, Missouri, Catholic Archbishop Joseph Naumann says that ‘Joe Biden’s soul is in jeopardy.’  Archbishop Naumann, there was a time when the Catholic Church would excommunicate monarchs and kings so where is Pope Francis and why is he not excommunicating this abortion-pushing POS who’s in the White House now?  Enough is enough!  Excommunicate every member of the PRO-DEATH MOVEMENT NOW.
  64. 2020 Tuesday B: As fallout from the now-discredited ‘Lincoln Project’ and founding member John Weaver’s giving young men jobs in exchange for kinky sex around the clock, people are laughing at this collective group of losers who sought to destroy Donald Trump while self-enriching themselves at the same time.  We hear that John Conway allegedly was engaged in the same criminal behavior as his close buddy, John Weaver.  What a bunch of scumbags.  Allegedly!   Elsewhere, 2 FBI agents are dead, three others wounded, and a suspect dead, too, following an early morning shootout in Ft. Lauderdale’s Sunrise suburb today.  The federal agents arrived at a home in the well-to-do neighborhood to serve a federal warrant in a child abuse case.  Meanwhile, Dr. Anthony “Full of Crap” Fauci says everyone might now need to wear ‘two masks’ if we are going to combat the rampaging Chi-Vi.  Uh, Dr. Fauci, approximately one year ago, YOU said masks don’t do any good with viruses.  We guess you must be heavily invested in companies manufacturing PPE gear.   Finally, famed actor Hal Holbrook dies at age 95.  God bless you, Hal.
  65. 2021 Tuesday C: New York Governor Andrew “Killer” Cuomo who is under much fire now over his criminal mishandling of the Chinese Virus within the Empire State is going to meet with other governors with President Joe Biden in the White House today, ostensibly to beg for bailouts.  Speaking of COVID-19, former White House Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney says, Joe Biden is ‘extraordinarily weak’ and that he ‘cannot get a Wuhan Virus relief bill.’  Meanwhile, Democrats are now pushing so-called ‘Baby Bonds’ where America’s children (which most likely means offspring of illegal aliens, too) will be given a ‘grubstake’ in life with a bond of $46,000 at birth.   (Note- the best gift to all America’s young people is to deport EVERY illegal alien from the country which will open more jobs at higher pay as well as bring down costs, most notably in housing and in medicine for all Americans.  Countries that defend their borders and thus their citizens have higher standards of living than those that become garbage dumps).
  66. 2021 Tuesday D: We now learn that the Durham probe most likely will not lead to the prosecutions of anyone involved in the scandalous Trump-Russia Collusion scam.  What a shame.  People like James Comey, knuckle-dragging John Brennan, James Clapper, Sally Yates, and far too many more from the Obama administration are going to get a full pass.  Next, the White House faces criticism over seeking briefing questions in advance, folks, simply unheard of, yet that is what we learn.  It would be great if the White House could find someone blessed with a higher IQ than stuttering and stammering and um-umming Jen Psaki.  In nearly two weeks, she has demonstrated to millions of Americans that she is as fit for the job as is President Joe Biden.  Speaking of dangers for the United States, a new report says that the Chi-Coms have stolen the information of 80-percent of U.S. citizens.  Hell, the sons of bitches are trying to steal our biodata, too.  Time to give them a black eye and a bloody nose.  Chi-Com scum.
  67. 2021 Tuesday E: The U.S. Senate confirms Mayor Pete Buttigieg as the next secretary of the U.S. Department of Transportation.  Next, President Joe Biden signs three more executive orders today, all three dealing with Trump era immigration policies.   One order will be to address the flow of illegals from Central America to the United States while another will end Trump’s restrictions on the numbers of green cards handed out to illegals.  Another will officially establish a commission to reunite families and to end family separations at the border.  Elsewhere, Newsmax reports that California crackpot Congresswoman “Gasoline Maxine” Waters has given her daughter more than $1 million of campaign funds.   (Note- the name “Gasoline Maxine” comes from the GOP opponent she faced in November 2020, U.S. military veteran Joe Collins).  Meanwhile, in a move that is angering millions of Republicans, already unpopular Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-KY, is blasting House Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-GA, while defending highly disliked Congresswoman Liz Cheney, R-WY.  As long as Mitch remains in power, millions of Republicans are choosing NOT to donate their dwindling dollars to this dinosaur party.  Good going there, Mitch.
  68. 2021 Tuesday F: Here are the numbers for the Xi Jinping Bat Flu- Pelosi Pox:  Here are the statistics for the planet as a whole: 103,572,661 confirmed cases, +482,437, 2,243,638, confirmed deaths, +12,809, and 57,502,710 confirmed recoveries, +342,692.  Next, here are the stats for the United States, the intended target of the Chinese-engineered Wuhan Virus pandemic: 26,524,218 confirmed cases, up 83,699 from yesterday’s reporting, 447,715 confirmed deaths, UP 1,448, and 11,166,500 confirmed recoveries with NO UPDATES NOW in seven days.  This tells us the Biden administration does not want them reported.
  69. 2021 Tuesday G: Next, in the three states in which, the world-famous American Institute of Culinary Politics-the Elemental News of the Day employs chef-bloggers- California, Hawaii, and Washington- here are the stats, California first: 3,341,197 confirmed cases, 41,344 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Next here are the numbers for Hawaii: 26,070 confirmed cases, 410 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Finally, here are the stats for leftist-Marxist-socialist hellhole of Washington: 317,703 confirmed cases, 4,404 confirmed deaths, and NO MENTION of confirmed recoveries.  Let us look at one other state: Texas: currently, they have 2,415,490 confirmed cases, 37,405 confirmed deaths, and 1,993,705 confirmed recoveries.  Now that Mo has relocated to Israel, let’s look at the statistics there: 652,246 confirmed cases, 4,816 confirmed deaths, and 573,208 confirmed recoveries.  Let us look at one other country- India: they have 10,778,031 confirmed cases of the Beijing Bug, 154,629 confirmed deaths, and 10,461,230 confirmed recoveries.  Meanwhile, Joe Biden says next week, retail pharmacies will begin giving Chi-Vi immunizations.    In the Empire State, Andrew “Killer” Cuomo underreported the deaths of senior citizens in nursing homes by a much as 50-percent.  Health officials in New York City and across his state are resigning in disgust over this POS criminal mishandling of the Kung Flu crisis.
  70. 2021 Tuesday H:  Here are today’s Stock Market closes: DOW Jones Industrial Average: 30,687.48 UP 475.57 points (+1.57%).  Next, the NASDAQ: 13,612.78, UP 209.38 points (+1.56%).  Finally, here are the stats for the S&P 500: 3,826.31, UP 52.45 points (+1.39%).  The price of GOLD is $1,837.60 per troy oz., +4.20 (+0.23%) while the price of SILVER is $26.66 per troy ounce, +0.258 (+0.98%).  The price of PLATINUM is $1,100.70 per troy oz, +4.70 (+0.43%) while the price of COPPER is $3.52 per pound, -0.002 (-0.06%).  The price of PALLADIUM is $2,241.70 per troy oz, +33.30 (+1.51%).  The price of Light Sweet Crude Oil is $55.04 per barrel, +0.28 (+0.51%).  Currently, one-dollar U.S. = 6.46 Chi-Com yuan.   Meanwhile, one-dollar U.S. = 0.83 euros and in Iranian Rial equals 42,000.00 (same as last week).  That’s what a terrorism-based economy gets you.  Next, here is the conversion for one U.S. dollar and Bitcoin: 0.000028.
  71. 2021 Tuesday I: The Chi-Com foreign ministry is excited about ‘working with the Joe Biden administration moving forward’ but according to Beijing, the U.S. ‘must respect the One-China Policy in which the Chi-Coms are the legitimate government of Taiwan and that any talk of Taiwan becoming an independent country or of receiving diplomatic recognition from the U.S. as free and independent is wrong and cannot happen.’  President Donald J. Trump was extremely friendly with Taipei and we believe that IF the world does not recognize Taiwan as its own country, then the Two-China Policy must be restored and Taiwan must return to being the ONLY China in the U.N. and on the U.N. Security Council.  Of course, this won’t win us any friends in mainland China but hey- it is what it is.   We know they love ‘Pro-China Joe’ Biden.  Why wouldn’t they?  Speaking of the Chi-Coms, we now know they used SolarWinds as an entry point to hack into the U.S. government’s payroll system via the implantation of spyware in the system.  Wow.  What will “Pro-China Joe” do about this?
  72. 2021 Tuesday J: The U.S. Senate confirmed Alejandro Mayorkas as the next head of the Department of Homeland Security.  Speaking of his confirmation, Senator Josh Hawley, R-MO, has voted “NO” on six of Joe Biden’s Cabinet picks.   Meanwhile, Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida has declared WAR on the BIG TECH CARTEL within the borders of his state.  Go for it!  Elsewhere, it appears that slow-witted bumbling and stumbling White House press secretary Jen Psaki dismissed the validity of the U.S. Space Force in a White House press conference.   Congressman Mike Rogers of Alabama demanded an immediate apology from the lackluster spokesperson for feeble old Joe Biden.  You won’t get it, congressman.  Speaking of losers, 10 counties in Wyoming have now voted to censure the state’s sole member of the House, Congresswoman Liz Cheney, R-Wyoming.
  73. 2021 Tuesday K: A Moscow (kangaroo) court sentences Kremlin critic Alexei Navalny to more than two years in prison on purported ‘embezzlement” and ‘corruption charges.’  Currently the Russian government has arrested between 5,000 and 10,000 pro-Navalny protesters, many of whom are still in jail while thousands more are out in the streets demanding his release and an end to Vladimir Putin.   Russia has dismissed E.U. and U.S. criticisms over their handling of Navalny and warns them of ‘interfering in its domestic affairs.’  Elsewhere, former Texas governor and secretary of energy Rick Perry blasts ‘global climate czar’ John F. Kerry for the trail of emissions his private jet leaves around the world.   Speaking of losers like Mr. Kerry, California Governor Gavin “The Smiler” Newsom’s approval numbers continue falling.  Californians expect that Nancy “Mumbles” Pelosi’s nephew will be removed from office next month.   Regarding the House speaker, she is beefing up security for her fellow Democrat House members when they travel.
  74. 2021 Tuesday L: Here are the results for tonight’s Mega-Millions Draw #1630 with a jackpot of $42 million: 13, 37, 38, 40, 67, and Mega 10.  Out of 77,680 winning tickets, the highest winners in California were FOUR people who had FOUR plus the MEGA for a prize of $8,746 apiece.
  75. 2021 Tuesday M: As Democrats continue preparing for their kangaroo impeachment court on Monday, February 8, the one in which, they seek to remove a president already out of office, the Trump legal team says their client was merely expressing his First Amendment rights.  No where did he or anyone in his administration call for violence whereas most every elected Democrat has either cheered violence on or has bailed out violent mob members and put them back onto the streets.   Speaking of human fecal matter, it has become apparent that Iran is working hard underground in their development of nuclear materials with which to make bombs and fast.  Time for someone to nuke the living hell out of these Iranian scumbags.   Meanwhile, the once-proud Pentagon is purging members of its defense policy board who were Trump appointees.  It is beginning to appear that we do have a shadow military junta in this country.

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

The Michael Schenker Group came roaring back with its second live album, “Rock Will Never Die,” released on June 12, 1984.  Joining the now legendary hardcore German rocker were his original vocalist, Gary Barden, Chris Glen (bass), Andy Nye (keyboards/backing vocals), Ted McKenna (drums/percussion), and second guitarist/vocalist Derek St. Holmes.  The show was recorded in London at the famed Hammersmith Odeon, one of the all-time great concert halls.  For the encore, UFO’s “Doctor, Doctor,” his brother Rudolph Schenker (guitars) and Klaus Meine (vocals), both from the Scorpions join the band and set the place ablaze.  We hope you will seek this album out wherever you shop so you can consider making it a part of your growing music collection.  We highly recommend it and you know, anything recommended by the world famous American Institute of Culinary Politics-the Elemental News of the Day is right on the money- you can take it to the bank.

Tulsi Gabbard would have been a superb VP for Joe Biden or at least Secretary of Defense but with Kamala in the No. 2 slot, nothing for our girl

In the end, we voted Democrat. We had no choice other than to do so. We love Joe Biden but Kamala, we had to hold our noses because she is such a horrible woman. However, we are also unhappy with the direction in which the party is now moving- namely impeachment of a president who is no longer president when we should be doing something to get the economy moving again and getting COVID-19 vaccines to as many Americans as possible as without them, businesses, schools, and churches cannot reopen.

WINTER SESSION 2021

BLOG POST #3,747 AT THE AICP-END

DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2022: 644

Why do Democrats hate Tulsi Gabbard as much as they do?

Honolulu, HI 96782, 02-02-2021 Tuesday:  Last August, I had some questions regarding what Joe Biden would or would not do if he won the 2020 Presidential Election.  One of my questions was whether a Biden-Harris administration would make room for Tulsi Gabbard in his administration or whether he would leave her on the sidelines because of his running mate’s dislike of Tulsi.  After all, Tulsi singlehandedly destroyed Kamala Harris in two early debates when she zeroed in on her appalling record on sending minorities to prison and in so doing knocked Kamala out of the running.  I had hope that a President Joe Biden would recognize Tulsi’s value because she is qualified for so many things, particularly to be the next U.S. secretary of defense.

It would appear we have our answer on that one, NO room for Tulsi in the Biden administration which is horribly sad.  She deserves better but mainstream mainland Democrats seemingly do not care for her honest, solid speech.  Sad.  When we need someone to speak truth to power, we can think of no one better than former Congresswoman Gabbard.  We hope she will run for the governorship next year.

Anyhow, here is what I said in that post:

“I think had Tulsi managed to go deeper into the debates and somehow became the number two on the ticket, we might have had some hope but lying awake at night fretting about my concerns tells me that unless something astounding occurs to change my mind back to Biden and his running mate, my husband and me might have another difficult choice to make in November.” (16-August-2020)

As I share with you yesterday, Lalo and I had some misgivings when it came to deciding where our votes should go.  That is not to say we are not loyal Democrats because we are.  However, like Bea O’Malley- our colleague in California- we pride ourselves on being SANE DEMOCRATS much like Tulsi Gabbard is.

What’s more, we recognize that our party has veered off the rails in its hatred of Trump.   It is what it is.  There is much to dislike about Trump but as I said last August, the man created a wonderful economy and he put the security of the country first, not that of China, Iran, Russia, or anywhere else ahead of us.

Here in Hawaii, things are bad, our economy shut down, tourists not coming in, people are desperate.  Yet, our lawmakers are missing in action, Mazie Hirono, Brian Schatz, rather than coming to our aid, they are actively ‘aiding’ Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer in their drive to punish the former president instead of doing everything they can to come to our aid, their voters.  If they would and would have done so, say LAST YEAR, my husband would not be down in Florida looking for another place in which to move our lives and reestablish our business.

Then again, Florida might be just what the doctor ordered.  While it’s difficult to abandon one’s home for greener pastures, it is what it is.  What I do know is that IF we do leave Hawaii for Florida, I doubt we will ever return home because our kids are living on the mainland already so what the heck, right?  We must go where we must go because Florida is wide open when Hawaii is not and might never be again.

Please, let me know what you think.  If you know of any good business opportunities in the Tampa area, please let me know about those.

Aloha and lots of love.

That said, I began my career in the early 1970’s when I apprenticed to cook under one of the masters on the Big Island where I was born.  I moved to Oahu in the early 1980’s after having worked in both Kona and Hilo, HI, and have been there for most of my professional career.

Moreover, I have also worked on Maui for a few years (1995-1998) and have been on Kauai (2001-2003) before returning to Honolulu.  My goal is to prepare the next generation of chefs for the future and to help the underprivileged in their struggle to attain careers in the foodservice industry.

We continue offering CDs today by the greatest San Francisco band of all time, the Jefferson Airplane.  The band’s seventeenth album, “The Woodstock Experience,” hit record store shelves in 2009 and was a pairing of the band’s “Volunteers” CD with their entire Woodstock concert set in 1969.  Now, we will admit that we did not put these in the order that we should but tried to keep the JA albums together and then present the Jefferson Starship following the original band.  We urge you to visit the Amazon.com Website, so you can pick it up and you will enjoy the concert as it was sort of the final go-round of the ‘original’ lineup as towards the end of 1969 following the ill-fated Altamont Speedway Festival with the Rolling Stones, both Marty Balin and Spencer Dryden would leave the band.  However, Grace Slick and Paul Kantner as well as Jorma Kaukonen and Jack Casady would continue with drummer Joey Covington and violinist Papa John Creech.  Please, seek this CD out by going to Amazon.com and getting it there in the format, the condition, and the price that is right for you—you will be glad you did.
