Elsewhere in the aftermath of the Stalingrad campaign, 24 German generals head into captivity while more than 90,000 survivors of the campaign- what’s left of five German and Axis allied armies- march into captivity. The Russians captured a massive stockpile of military hardware, weapons, and even aircraft, railway cars and locomotives. This victory would remain with the Red Army through the end of the war.

  63. 2017 Wednesday: The 69th U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson assumes his post on this date.  A Republican, he would serve under President Donald J. 66. 2020 Saturday: In the Democratic Republic of the Congo, armed members of the so-called ‘religion of peace’- Islam- attack multiple areas and murder at least 62 civilians and wound hundreds of others.  Government forces go in hot pursuit to stop the bloody uprisings.   Meanwhile, as the COVID-19 Chi-Com virus continues sweeping around the world, Kiribati in the Pacific Ocean region bans all travelers from communist China.  All other arriving travelers from countries with known cases of the Wuhan scourge must isolate for 14 days.  Elsewhere, following the Trump peace plan for the Middle East is known, the Palestinians do what they do best and that is to sever all ties with both the United States and Israel and cry to the few nations still supporting them for succor.
  67. 2021 Monday:  The Republic of (FREE) China- Taiwan- says that Chi-Com warplanes have violated its airspace with increasing regularity.  We suspect the communists in Beijing are gauging the nation’s air defenses in preparation for an attack.   Next, the Biden administration demands the military junta in Myanmar to stand down NOW which could be the first major foreign policy challenge of the new administration.  Big whoop.  Elsewhere, a major storm is hammering the northeastern part of the United States which is permitting left-wing governors to call off vaccinating their citizens against the Chinese Virus.  Speaking of the Chi-Com influenza, a researcher who developed the saliva test to detect the virus has just died.  Finally, the WHO team in Wuhan, China, is going to meet with the provincial CDC who will tell them, “NOTHING TO SEE HERE.”  Speaking of the Kung Flu, the Chinese have a new method of testing for their lab-engineered pandemic, first reported by Rush Limbaugh on his radio program LAST week- an anal swab.  Images of Chinese citizens walking like penguins following this horribly invasive test is all over the place.  What a bunch of sick f**ks.
  68. 2021 Monday A: Famed attorney Alan Dershowitz has nominated Jared Kushner to receive the Nobel Peace Prize over his amazing efforts to bring about peace in the Middle East via the Abraham Accords.  Mr. Dershowitz also says the ‘news media cherry-picks all speeches of former President Donald J. Trump’ so as to shape the anti-Trump ‘narrative.’  Speaking of Mr. Trump, his Super PAC- Save America- has amassed $30.9 million in the past couple of months.  Next, a bunch of moderate RINO Republicans is hopeful that President Joe Biden (or Barack Hussein Obama- the voice in his ear) will listen to their counterproposal of a $618 billion Chi-Vi relief bill.  Don’t be silly, you ninnies, they are not going to listen to you.  Period.   Meanwhile, a GOP group in the Peach State is launching a “Stop Stacey” (Abrams) group.   Finally, loser Congressman Adam Kinzinger, R-Illinois, is forming an anti-Trump PAC.  Go for it, Adam, it’s going to be fun watching you go down next year.  POS.
  69. 2021 Monday B: GOP lawmakers are asking the Federal Elections Commission if it’s permissible to use campaign donations to fund bodyguards.  Meanwhile, House Dems are trying to bully House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-CA, into stripping Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-GA, of her committee assignments.  In other disturbing news, it now appears that Texas Senator Ted Cruz, Republican, has drunk from the well of Kool-Aid and last week threw President Donald J. Trump under the bus blaming the 45th president’s ‘speech’ for what happened on January 6, 2021.  NOT a good way to seek to remain a stalwart in the GOP there, senator, especially when evidence continues mounting showing that the riot was planned weeks ahead of the day of the mob riots.  We know the pipe bombs were planted the previous day.
  70. 2021 Monday C: Here are the numbers for the Xi Jinping Bat Flu- Pelosi Pox:  Here are the statistics for the planet as a whole: 103,090,224 confirmed cases, +250,043, 2,230,829, confirmed deaths, +5,527, and 57,160,018 confirmed recoveries, +185,109.  Next, here are the stats for the United States, the intended target of the Chinese-engineered Wuhan Virus pandemic: 26,440,519 confirmed cases, up 132,229 from yesterday’s reporting, 446,267 confirmed deaths, UP 2,450, and 11,166,500 confirmed recoveries- no update in more than a week- what’s up with that?

  73. 2021 Monday F: U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken announces the LGBTQIA+ pride flag will fly at ALL U.S. embassies around the world during pride month festivities.   Next, the Dems move to pass their $1.9 trillion ‘COVID-19 relief bill/stimulus bill’ sans any GOP support even though 10 moderate to RINO Republicans are trying to meet with President Joe Biden.   Next, some moron nominates Black Lives Matter for a Nobel Peace Prize after the scum rioted all summer long, burned buildings, harmed, and murdered cops, and ran amok in the streets of America.  Elsewhere, Dems are seeking to hold hearings for Biden attorney-general nominee Merrick Garland sometime later this month.   Meanwhile, homicide rates in 2020 jumped 30-percent from the previous year.   Finally, moron Congresswoman Jackie Speier urges President Joe Biden to declare WHITE SUPREMACISM AND VIOLENT EXTREMISM (unless it’s committed by Antifa and Black Lives Matter) as a NATIONAL SECURITY THREAT.  Wow.  These losers are truly pushing the ball, folks…

ALBUM OF THE DAY AT THE AICPENDBLOG.COM:

Hardcore rocker and former bassist for UFO- Pete Way- formed a new band, Waysted.  Joining him were Fin Muir (lead vocals), Ronnie Kayfield (lead guitar/vocals), Paul Raymond (rhythm guitar/keyboards/vocals), and Frank Noon (drums/percussion).  When Pete left UFO, he left because he disapproved of the commercial sound managers and record labels were pushing the veteran rock band to follow which drove him off into the ozone.  Forming this band allowed him to give new life to the UFO sound and thus we have an album that might fit in more with their earlier discography rather than their later.  Fans love this album, entitled, “Vices,” which came out on October 21, 1983, as do we and we hope everyone will seek it out and consider adding it to your collection- you will be glad you did.

I wasn’t sure we were going to win on Election Day but win we did- especially in the subsequent weeks as we fended off one attempt by Trump after another to steal it for himself

How the Republicans gained seats in the House and with some pretty controversial characters no less while the top of their ticket went down to defeat is beyond me. Still he did and the proof of the matter is that for the past three months there has been nothing but shrill cries of ‘ELECTION THEFT! ELECTION FRAUD! ELECTION TAMPERING!’

DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2022: 645

November 3 was an amazing victory not just for the country but for the entire world…

Honolulu, HI 96782, 02-01-2021 Monday:  Happy days are here again- or are they?  Lalo is not here right now; he’s gone to Florida to reconnoiter what it will take for us to open a fast-food Hawaiian-Polynesian restaurant in Tampa Bay or wherever else seems suitable for family-saving idea.  We have concluded that our home state is dying and there won’t be much left when it does begin returning to life.  It’s not like one can flip a wall switch and everything just suddenly reboots.

However, we hope to make something selling the home and business- even though the market for both is depressed- which will cover the costs of moving to Florida, finding a suitable drive-in, getting our food, beer, and wine licenses, and giving it a go there.  Here in the 50th state, the COVID-19 crisis has destroyed our beautiful, beloved state to the point our family arrived at the conclusion- we going to become ‘haole mainlanders’ although we’re not light-skinned enough to pass for ones.  LOL.

Well, we weren’t sure what was going to occur on November 3 but it seems to have worked out in the nation’s favor.  Joe Biden beat Donald Trump and in so doing pulled in more votes than any president in U.S. history even though he won fewer counties and failed to win either Florida or Ohio.  It was a stunning triumph to be sure and the Aloha State celebrated the glorious victory to the best of our ability thanks to coronavirus lockdowns and restrictions.  IF only we still had Primo beer.

I must admit, we were surprised that we were able to gain control of the U.S. Senate but gain control we did, even if by a slim majority.  Chuck Schumer is now the boss in the upper chamber and Nancy Pelosi reigns supreme in the lower chamber even though she has a far slimmer majority than anyone thought she would.  We honestly thought we were going to increase the size of the majority so we would hold onto power for decades to come.

ELECTION TAMPERING!’  That is all we heard and I must say, it was horribly embarrassing for our country to have a president who would not submit to the will of the American people.

Likewise, it was embarrassing that he would welcome neither then-President-elect Joseph R. and incoming First Lady Dr. Jill Biden to the White House.  That has been tradition from the earliest days of our country.   The outgoing regime welcomes the incoming president and his wife.  Yet, this lug didn’t.  It shows what a loser he was.

I do not believe we have ever had such a scenario in the history of the country, a potential renegade president clinging to the draperies in the East Wing, refusing to be evicted along with every member of his grubby family.

Moreover, they never saw what hit them, they never saw that the American people had had enough of the ‘First Family of Reality TV,’ driving the country- and the world- insane with all the shenanigans, all the wrongdoings, all the mishandling of the wonderful country handed to him and his fellow losers in January 2017.  We had had more than enough.

That is not to say that the 45th president didn’t do a few good things.  After all, he was tough on the border which is a good thing- even here in Hawaii- although he didn’t have to act like a racist about it.  Yes, we have our noncitizens here, too, although mostly visa overstays and the like seeing as how the pine and cane are long gone  No need for armies of agricultural workers.

Still, drunken drivers around the islands cause their share of problems so we don’t lament it when they are scooped up and sent back to where they came which typically is Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, and Japan.

He also did things that were good for the economy, things we hope President Biden will continue although it does not look that way, for whatever reason.  I get it, #45 truly messed up the pandemic which nullified all the economic gains so if we have to slow down until we can get things back up to speed, I guess Joe and Kamala know what they’re doing.

Still, if we relocate to sunny Florida which in many ways bears some resemblance to our beloved islands, at least the economy is booming there and we might be able to resurrect what we had here over there.  Perhaps someday, we can return to the islands and pick up the pieces but Governor Ige has caused so much hardship here that it’s impossible to believe.   Who knows?  Maybe Tulsi will run for the governorship?  That would be great.

Aloha my friends, we will continue tomorrow.  Thanks for joining me today and for all those blocking our blog from search results, look, you have a liberal, albeit God-fearing Democrat, so please, give me some room to run.  We are not all right-wing conservatives you know.  Oh- as for the Today in History segments, although my name is on them, I don’t necessarily write them.  Usually, Smitty or Alvin or Mo do them so give me a pass there, too.

See you tomorrow.

Up-and-coming Bakersfield, California, street artist, Simone, created this cartoonish caricature of me so we can keep our identities on the down low due to increasing threats, Web intrusions and threats, and so we do not lose our professional businesses because of our politics here at the AICP-END Blogs.

That said, I began my career in the early 1970’s when I apprenticed to cook under one of the masters on the Big Island where I was born.  I moved to Oahu in the early 1980’s after having worked in both Kona and Hilo, HI, and have been there for most of my professional career.

Moreover, I have also worked on Maui for a few years (1995-1998) and have been on Kauai (2001-2003) before returning to Honolulu.  My goal is to prepare the next generation of chefs for the future and to help the underprivileged in their struggle to attain careers in the foodservice industry.

We continue offering CDs today by the greatest San Francisco band of all time, the Jefferson Airplane.  The band’s sixteenth album, “Jefferson Airplane,” hit record store shelves on August 22, 1989 and found the lineup everybody considers the “original” one reunited—excepting drummer Spencer Dryden.  Due to bad blood between him and founding member, Paul Kantner, the latter was able to keep him out bringing in drummer Prairie Prince to replace him.  Still, we had Grace Slick, Jorma Kaukonen, Marty Balin, and Jack Casady here, which is reason enough to seek this CD out at Amazon.com.   As the band had not played together for more than a decade, it was surprisingly good but lacked the sound of the early days.  Still, we urge you to visit the Amazon.com website, so you can pick it up and teleport yourself back to the good old days when everything was about love, ending the war in Vietnam, dropping acid (and other psychedelics) and smoking weed, which now anyone can get with a flipping medical card.
