A movie from 1943- “This Land of Mine”- opened my eyes as to how the communist Chinese plan on conquering the world- their plan is no different than the one the Nazis employed in 1939-1945

You see, the Han Chinese view themselves as the master race and thus they force Uighurs, Tibetans, and other religious and ethnic minorities into ‘their way or the highway.’ Likewise, they believe their destiny is to control the world and to dominate the rest of humanity. Like “This Land of Mine,” they find willing collaborators in every country they infest and subvert and it is this path that bodes danger for all freedom-loving peoples around the planet.

FALL SESSION 2020

BLOG POST #3,623 AT THE AICP-END

33 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2020

Only morons believe communism is somehow ‘beneficial’ for the world…

Kihei, HI 96753, 10-01-2020 Thursday: Aloha, friends, glad to talk story with you all again.  Yesterday, I alluded to the fact that communist China is more akin to Nazi Germany than they are to Maoism, Leninism, Stalinism, or any other branch of the socialist-communist stink tree, the one lovingly watered by the blood of hundreds of millions.  This noxious tree has sown anguish, suffering, pain, and misery around the world, left suffering, starvation, economic decline and collapse everywhere some loopy young skull of mush has forced it onto others.  Proven time and again to be little more than a failed, socio-economic-political philosophy, there are still millions who believe it to be salvation for the masses- no matter how many lives are required to implement it.

Unlike Soviet communism, Nazism took a different path to absolutism by adding strong elements of race, nationalism, and consumerism.  The German people were told they could have it all as long as they signed on with Nazism.  They were told they were the Master Race and that the impure and the imperfect could be weeded out of society and things would be better for everyone else.

The Nazis also told the German people that their destiny was to rule the Earth, that all other nations of the world would be subservient to the Third Reich.  Likeminded nations would come aboard to enable and facilitate the Nazis in their conquest of the globe and that all would share in the “Third Reich’s benevolence.”  It was a great pitch for some and for others- the ones destined for conquest and possible annihilation- it was terrifying.

Recently, Chono and I watched a movie on Turner Classic Movies, “This Land of Mine,” (1943) starring Charles Laughton and Maureen O’Hara.  It was an eye-opening film of sorts in that it depicted a European town under Nazi occupation.  Laughton played a cowardly schoolteacher, overwhelmed by his mother’s controlling grip, and in love with a younger teacher at his school, a love he was never able to voice until the end when his life was approaching a premature end.

The Nazi army officer in charge of the nameless city- Major Erich von Keller- played by Walter Slezak- told Laughton’s character- Albert Lory- after it seemed that the teacher was coming round to the Nazi viewpoint.

Held in a cell and being charged with murdering a collaborator, a fellow citizen who, following the murder of a German soldier, bore responsibility for sending 10 of his fellow citizens to their executions, the amiable German officer informed his prisoner that ‘in every country, there are men and women who- for whatever reason- are willing to sell out of the interests of their homeland for their own personal interests- like the man Lory was charged with slaying.’[i]

Major von Keller told schoolteacher Lory that ‘even in Germany, we found likeminded people willing to work with us for a variety of reasons.  It allowed us to conquer Germany, to make her great, and that one day across the world- even in the United States- Nazi Germany would find those willing to sell out the interests of their country on behalf of their personal interests.’[ii]

This revelation caused Lory to reevaluate his views and so he went on trial, refusing to play ball and have his case dismissed when he realized what the ramifications of cooperation, aka collaboration, would mean for him, his family, his fellow citizens, and his nation and so when given the opportunity to testify, he shared the truth with his fellow citizens in the one place remaining to him: the witness box.

Of course, this signed his death warrant and so he went to the firing squad.  However, before he met his fate, he rushed to the school to impart his closing thoughts and feelings to his students.  The young boys, kids who used to lampoon him, make fun of his cowardice, and mock him saw him, now viewed him through newly opened eyes, for the hero he became, and in so doing, made the decision within their boyish minds that they would not submit to the fascists either.[iii]

“This Land of Mine” was a powerful movie and it opened my eyes to what we have been missing about communist China and the shocking correlations between them and the Nazis.

We will pick back up tomorrow with more unless the Chi-Coms put a bomb in my car, crash the Hawaii net, or destroy our computers.  The voice of freedom will always ring, however.  That is a guarantee.  It’s better to awaken late than not to awaken at all.

See you tomorrow.

I must say I am amazed that the AICP-END Blog would send up-and-coming Bakersfield, California, street artist, the amazing Simone to Maui to do some photographic portraits of me.  We have moved in this direction since politics have turned millions of people against one another and it is important for us as employers and as private people with families to protect, that we begin covering our actual identities from those seeking to cause us problems.  I must say, Simone has done an outstanding job and this is a caricature of me that meets with my approval.  My husband and I live and own a restaurant in Kihei, Hawaii, and have also worked in institutional cooking at Maui’s premier hospital up in Wailuku.

FOOTNOTES:

[i] This man was a railroad supervisor and could no longer bear the strain of trying to keep his duplicitous behavior secret from his fiancé, a woman committed to the resistance.  Following the executions of 10 of his fellow citizens, schoolteacher Lory finally worked up the strength to go and shoot this man but when he arrived, he discovered that the individual in question had already taken care of it for him.  Still, others saw him in the office with a gun and the Nazi-controlled police arrested and charged him with the murder.

[ii] According to Mo, this is how totalitarians go about dominating people, they always seek out those willing to collaborate on behalf of their personal interests rather than standing up for their people’s or nation’s best interests.  Most revolutionary use this very strategy because humans being the flawed creatures that they are many times put their interests above the group’s interests.  So the Nazis conquered much of Europe and parts of the Near East.  Aided by likeminded fascists, most notably Imperial Japan and Fascist Italy, the three major nations of the Axis and their lesser partners were using these tactics combined with force to accomplish their aims.

[iii] Charles Laughton was an amazing actor and this portrayal must have been difficult for him as he to make himself appear as a pathetic loser.  He redeemed himself when he finally found his courage and the scene where he is saying goodbye to his students and the authorities come to his classroom and take him away in front of his students.  The defiance in their eyes says it all and this is why the Nazis- and the Chi-Coms can and will never win.  They cannot crush freedom.
