Politicians such as Nancy Pelosi believe they are untouchable; well, WHY can’t we join in class action lawsuits and sue the living hell out of every BLUE State- or- City political hack for DERELICTION OF DUTY?

Here is the deal: every restaurant owner, every church pastor, every ‘non-essential business owner (try telling people their business is NOT essential and you might get a knuckle sandwich),’ and everyone else who is not fortunate enough to work in a so-called ‘essential business’ or is a union worker must join together in massive class-action lawsuits and sue every politician in every locale that is shut down for DERELICTION OF DUTY. That’s right, that is what I said, “DERELICTION OF DUTY.”

SUMMER SESSION 2020

BLOG POST #3,598 AT THE AICP-END

58 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2020

If we are to survive, the time is NOW to go after those destroying our lives…

Shater, CA 93263, 09-06-2020 Sunday:  Mis amigos, today is my final day of the year and I want to reach out to everyone who has been harmed or destroyed by the Wuhan Virus Crisis.  When it first arrived on our shores, as a Kaiser Permanente patient, I asked my doctor during a routine visit if we had to fear the COVID-19 Chinese Virus Flu and he scoffed at it, dismissed it with a wave of his hand.  He said, “No, nothing to fear here” and I smiled, shook his hand, and went on my way.

A week or so later, all of a sudden, Kaiser was clamping down its various facilities, they shut down most of their satellite sites, offices, and pharmacies.  All of a sudden, all existing appointments were canceled and any future doctor ‘visits’ occurred either via phone or by Skype or Zoom.  Scheduled procedures were suddenly canceled as doctors, nurses, assistants, and technicians were either furloughed or overworked, depending upon what form of medicine they practiced or worked in; it made no sense.

California has made it difficult for most citizens to go about their daily lives.  The religious cannot attend services, the social drinkers cannot visit bars, people in need of haircuts, beauty salon visits, massage therapy, whatever, were unable to go out and get services.  Restaurants like ours could not open and on the rare occasions when local leaders allowed us to reopen, we could either do it only on the street or with quarter-capacity indoors.

If you know anything about the foodservice industry, most of us are always circling the drain as the difference between being in the ‘black’ and in the ‘red’ is separated by a fraction of a fraction of an inch.  Each day we remain closed means more of our workers suffer, whether they be bartenders, foodservers, bus help, dishwashers, line cooks, meat-and-fish-cutters, bakers, you name it, wages are slim to none, unemployment never enough, and yet, Democrats want to keep everything shut down tight.

Some locales such as Kern County where Shafter and other cities in which we have bloggers have been much better than say, Los Angeles or San Francisco.  L.A. is an absolute disaster and Frisco not that far behind.  Then, while we are toeing the line, we see someone like Madam Speaker Nancy Pelosi getting her hair done after forcing a Napa hairdresser to open exclusively for her and to then rub salt in the wounds and spit on them, was wandering about sans a mask.[i]

We have all been ordered NOT to go out in public unless we wear a mask or some sort of face covering.  We are told that the moment we exit our homes, we are at risk of contracting this deadly Chinese-made-to-order pandemic and that we can and will die if we catch it.

Yet, here is this decrepit old crone, wandering about in her smock, hair wet, sans a mask, forcing the salon owner to open his doors and cater to her because like other rich, liberal Democrats, they can go out and get their hair done, eat indoors at whatever restaurant they wish, and mingle in the streets with venomous protesters while we can’t even attend church.

That’s right, that is what I said, “DERELICTION OF DUTY.”[ii]

Now, I understand that politicians have ‘qualified immunity’ but why can we not go after them if they are destroying us financially, if peaceful protesters are slain in the streets by violent mobs who hunt them down.  The mayors and governors tell the cops to stand down and then when mayhem and out-of-control riots claim lives and businesses, WHY can we not sue these sons of bitches for DERELICTION OF DUTY?

We have approached several attorneys and legal firms in Kern County to see if we can get the ball rolling.  We want to have everyone join us and then when we have tens of thousands of participants to go after every politician who is murdering our businesses, not protecting us or our properties, every politician like Speaker Pelosi who says, “DO as I say and NOT as I do.”  It is clear to me that they should fear we, the people.  It is time we begin doing what we must to save whatever is left of our professional and personal lives.

Amigos, I will be voting STRAIGHT REPUBLICAN ON ELECTION DAY as should you, and any punk who comes to my door trying to collect my ballot is going to get a load of buckshot square in the chest.  They can count on it.[iii]

See you next year.  Adios, mis amigos, nos vemos.

As have the rest of my colleagues, local Bakersfield street artist, Simone, created these portraits of me that you will see over successive days here at the blog.  I guess Simone did ‘okay’ in capturing my likeness; I guess it could have been worse.  I was a young cook back in the early 1960’s when I commenced my culinary career.  I served underneath a Master Chef for many years before striking out on my own.  I went up the coast of the Western United States and Canada, working all the way, until I made it to Alaska.  From there, I moved to Hawaii for a couple of years (1994-1997) before I returned to Washington State and it was there that I met Stinkbug.

FOOTNOTES:

[i] What’s even more bizarre about this story is that after being outed, Speaker Pelosi went to the assembled banks of microphones the next day and said, “She was set up by the salon owner.”  To this, I say, “BULLSHIT!”  There is no way that that occurred.  We know that the limousine liberals think their fecal matter doesn’t stink yet it does and they know it.  It would not surprise anyone if she tried to get the businessowner’s license yanked.

[ii] Our attorneys tell us that launching class action lawsuits against politicians that ‘dereliction of duty’ is the best way to go.  We tend to agree with that.  It makes the most sense.  Let’s see what we can do.

[iii] All we can do is to vote straight GOP and any ballot-harvesting POS coming to my door will get shot.
