JTF: Time for Trump to do what California Democrats WON’T do and that is to come to California and FIX the homeless crisis, it’s time to save these people

State law allows people to walk up to the doors of businesses, drop trousers and begin defecating as though they haven’t a care in the world.  They stand in front of businesses, schools, even churches, and unzip their flies or hike up their skirts, whip out their schlongs or their foonies, and begin whizzing all over everything as though it is as normal as the sun rising in the sky in the morning and then departing it as the night swallows up the day.

WINTER SESSION 2019

BLOG POST #3,345 AT THE AICP-END

313 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2020

HANUKKAH 2019 DAY SEVEN

KWANZAA CELEBRATION 2019 DAY NUMBER THREE

In California, we have a 16.4-percent increase in homelessness over the past year whereas in the rest of the United States, homelessness is in decline…WTF?

Oildale, CA 93308, 12-28-2019 Saturday:  Homelessness, across our fabulous country and here in our once proud state of California, has grown to enormous proportions and it is as if no one gives a doggone about it other than President Donald J. Trump and other conservative leaders.  Democrats could care less about the sufferers as they view homelessness as yet another nail-embedded cudgel with which to beat up any Republican president or politician.

These far-left liberal deviates point to the impoverished people ambling along the streets, down our alleyways, and across our public spaces, and say, “Woe!”  They point to those who set up residence wherever the heck they feel like doing so as human tools with which to aim as long guns at conservative policies and elected leaders and reprimand them for being the callous, cold-hearted brutes they claim conservative thinkers to be.

This past Christmas, President Trump informed our esteemed governor, “the Smiler,” little Gavin Newsom, child of privilege, born with a golden spoon in his mouth (and one up his butt), person of wealth and high rank, and told both him and Nancy Pelosi that ‘IF you fail to do something about this crisis on your doorstep, the federal government will,’ to which, I say, “Amen.”

High time, folks, high time.  We as a people MUST do something to aid these impecunious people.  The sad fact is that MOST of the people living on the streets here in California do so in the liberal enclaves to be sure but also here in red Kern County as other locales bus theirs to our part of the state and then turn them loose on local streets.

Meanwhile, drug use has skyrocketed.  Proponents of legalized pot told us that legalizing the noxious weed would drive drug usage rates (as well as coexisting crime rates) down and all would be good.  So, what’s next, are these liberal toilet-licking scumbags going to tell us that ‘if we legalize crack that everything is going to be that much better?’  Yeah, right.

This epidemic of drug usage and lawlessness is trashing our country and there is no reason for it.  Government is about the law, about protecting people and property and punishing/rehabilitating the criminals.  Government is also supposed to care for those who cannot care for themselves.  If people require mental health care and the only way to provide it is to confine them in state-run facilities for their own protection and that of society, then that is how it is supposed to be.

I would add to the previous sentence, ‘at least in civilized societies.’  The homeless and the addicted should not be pawns of politics, they should be people either cared for or given new leases on life.  I seriously doubt anyone chooses to live out in the elements, wondering where their next meals are coming from or if they will find shelter for the night.

The fact that Democratic politicians have so allowed things to deteriorate to the point they have demonstrates to my wise eyes that they do not give a flying flip about the lives of anyone, even including their voters.  The fact that they point to them as some sort of symptom of America’s decline means they use the indigents and the mentally ill as nothing more than props of their progressive policies.  When they die or disappear, they only mourn their loss because of their votes every two years.

Right now here in Bakersfield, there is much debate as what to do with the homeless.  The existing shelter has been in limbo now for several years, not sure if the high-speed rail debacle is going to force it to relocate or that after another 5-10 years of pursuing the fiasco it can find people willing to donate it a new roof- but who the hell in the meantime is going to slap a roof atop it so the railroaders can tear the building down IF the train project ever makes it through to completion.

Folks, we have numerous shopping centers standing vacant.  In fact, we have the East Hills Mall which once rivaled the Valley Plaza standing vacant and awaiting the demolishers because its owners could not compete with the Valley Plaza.

Bakersfield requires a massive facility with which to provide care to needy families, to the homeless, to wayward youth, and to veterans.  Everyone debates looking to find some abandoned store for refurbishment so social services can provide the care people require.  Why not take over the East Hills Mall and make it a one-stop shop center with GET bus shuttles taking people to and from the site back to downtown and to the southwest part of town.  Makes a whole lot of sense to me.

Tomorrow, we will continue this discussion and I will also share with you something shocking I found in an old newspaper from 20 years ago, December 26, 1999 about the rash of beheadings of the homeless.  What?

See you tomorrow.
